You stood there, confused by what you’d heard. Did Drake really say that? Or were you so drunk that you were just hearing what you wanted to? There was no way your brother’s best friend, the guy you’d been pining after for years, said he missed you. Even if he did, he wouldn’t have meant it like that, right?

“What?” you said softly, looking down at the darkness where you know where your feet are.

Drake just muttered something you couldn’t hear as he lead you to a room. “You can sleep in here tonight. I’ll sleep on the coach.” Your fingers were still interlocked with his as he tried to set you on the bed. “C’mon now kid. You gotta let go.”

“Why?” you asked as you tugged on his hand, as if trying to pull him into bed with you, but really you just wanted him closer to you.

He chuckled slightly, and in the little bit of moonlight that filtered in through the window, you saw him smirk. “Let me get you some water and something to eat. You’ll feel better if you’re not so drunk.”

You knew he was right, but something about the way his rough and calloused hand felt in yours was even more intoxicating. You didn’t want to let it go. “Can I at least come with you?”

He laughed, a full hearted, deep laugh. It made your stomach churn and twist. He was perfect, and you were here with him. “Sure. You can come with me.”

You shakily stood up, but he stopped you. “Are you still wearing your binder?”

You nodded, knitting your brows. “Yeah. So?”

“How many hours has it been?”

“I don’t know.”

He growled softly, nudging you back towards the bed. “Y/N, come on. You have to be careful! Take it off.”

“I don’t want to,” you said stubbornly, letting go of his hand to wrap your arms around your chest.

“I’m just trying to help take care of you,” he argued as he tried coaxing your arms away from your chest.

When you started wriggling away from him, he grabbed your forearms, yanking them roughly away from your chest. “I said, take the binder off, Y/N. You can’t sleep with that thing on.”

Pretty important news!!

I’m starting my 2 months long break/hiatus, main reason are for my exams, I really need to focus and pass these. And my phone and computer is a huge contribution to my distraction.

I also wanna experience what it’s like to not see anything like Tiktoks, Instagram reels etc for a long time of period, I might come back and make a post about it. It will be hard for me to not socialize though with the people I’ve met on here.

HOWEVER, I wanna announce some quick things that will come after my break, and I wanna get y’all hyped for this.

Things that will and might happen:

“The reach has taken over the earth and uses the humans to exploit the goods of it. Jaime Reyes, desperate to not make his family fall into the fate of slavery makes a decision to become a secret agent for the Reach, and takes on the case to catch the last speedster alive.”

There's this analog(?) series that I watched when I was younger but I can't remember the name, I had this girl, I think her name was like June/junebug or something, there was this flower thing with a mask that she found in her basment and some deformed purple thing (I think it was like abusive towards the girl, especially after she met the flower thing but she called it her "best friend") and she eventually killed the purple thing and ran away with the flower thing, PLEASE tell me if you know the name of it

fnaf analog horror series where each episode is just 20 minutes of william afton kicking puppies, stealing candies from and popping balloons of small children, causing 9/11 sixteen years earlier (he does it again on the correct date later on don't worry) , all including a loud screaming audio for everytime he does something evil that goes for longer than it should. Also Freddy's barely if is important except for it being where he does the evil and there being a fazbear branded plane

at least 10 videos, each by different people, will be made for each episode talking about how it's "the scariest fnaf content ever made" and "made fnaf ACTUALLY SCARY again!!!" while the thumbnail is something like a monochrome photo of the twin towers with a fucked up looking springtrap facing the viewer with "HE DESTROYED THEM" written in bold, big red text

imagine you need to get away from the house and your responsibilities for a hot second and there's this bus driver/tour guide you meet and he invites you on a one-time big sightseeing trip (what the bus driver is telling himself. don't worry about that). and at first you think it's like a date and he's into you but this dries up maybe half a day in when the sightseeing goes wrong and he starts angsting about his dead girlfriend. anyway the trip gets extended and he's still the worst most disappointing tour guide in the world so you do the emotional equivalent of poking at him with a stick and asking what the hell is wrong with him. bus driver relents and reveals that his whole family is dead and he's been trying to avoid thinking about it by being a bus driver. you listen to him as he talks about how nice his town was before it exploded and you suddenly realize that the bus driver is furiously grieving/homesick/depressed and you're like the only thing stopping him from driving off a cliff and into the sea. especially bc the next day you run into the mafia and the bus driver starts screaming at them to kill him. then he hugs an electric fence. and then he tells you to take the bus keys and leave him and screams at the mafia to kill him again. and like this is so obviously horrific but what can you do besides stay with him on more sightseeing trips and hope you're doing enough to keep him alive. bc one of the responsibilities you ducked from was your job of saving people and this stupid fucking bus driver is a person in need of saving so bad. even if he starts shutting down when he manages to catch that you're directly onto how unstable he is. anyway, on an unrelated note, ten and martha from hit tv show doctor who,

I may be late to this, but I feel like it says a lot about how analog horror is covered at least on Youtube when Angel Hare, which is one of the most hopeful and wholesome analog "horror" series' I've seen, has videos talking about it that look like this:

Like, yeah it has dark elements, but it's not this horrifying dark show that corrupts children. Jonah wasn't manipulated into becoming a serial killer by Gabby, that's a fandom AU not what actually happens.

I may just be overreacting over something minor, but it annoys me that a genuinely fresh and kind take on the "dark children's show" trope where a guardian angel protects a child from their abusive father and comforts them through a TV show is treated almost exactly the same as Generic Spooky Face Jumpscare Tapes #57. It's all about the dark elements that accompany the story, and not the story itself.

Angel Hare actually tells a coherent and complete story about children's entertainment and escapism, which just so happens to have dark elements to it while still being a comforting series. At least acknowledge the story being told, not just the disturbing elements of it for the love of Angel Gabby.
