Can't stop thinking about how I would've written RJ Grimes differently. He's quiet? Ok let's lean into that. Why is he quiet? What is he thinking about? How could that lend itself to his dynamic with his more outspoken sister? Sibling dynamic sibling dynamic come on, people, we can do something with that. He was born into the more settled era of the apocalypse, how does that affect the way he is, compared to Judith who was born into the chaos? Judith tells him the stories, but maybe we can give her a reason to do that. Maybe he doesn't quite understand that things are dangerous and he gets himself into some shit and she has to teach him. He likes to read? cool, what's he reading? How does that impact his view of the world? He wants to be 'the brave man'. Is he brave? What if he's not? What if he's scared? How does he feel? In general. About anything. And if none of that then just make him a funny one-liner generator. Morgan's stick went through more character development. I cannot emphasize enough that his acting does not need to be good, he is 7 years old.
