Have you seen the trailer for Duggar/iblp docuseries for Amazon?

Jill and Derick are in it and the series looks like they’re really going to be exposing the duggars and the church

I wonder how the family feels about it?

This series seems to be holding the Duggar family accountable for spreading the teachings of IBLP in a way that Jinger avoided doing with her book.

I have, I just posted a screen recording for those who couldn't use the link in their country (might still be loading by the time I answer this).

Literal instant tears seeing Jill tbh, I knew if anyone would participate it would be her and it looks like she's the only one (besides Amy of course). I know there are a few siblings who have openly agreed with Jill's opinions on the IBLP (Jinger, Jessa, Joy) but I wish she'd have gotten some back up from her siblings. Especially from a brother given the patriarchal nature of their ideology, although I can't imagine any of them ever doing that. Either way I'm so proud of her 😭😭

I'm glad the doc is going to be holding TLC at least a little bit accountable for spreading Gothard's/the Duggars religious message, bc I know the Duggar family influenced a LOT of American Christians (my own church included). I think the show gave them so much legitimacy and glossed over their horrendous beliefs in a really dangerous way.
