I originally made this video in 2003. And I THINK the story behind it was that Zidane’s home was next to Garnet or in her heart or something like that. I always liked the video, but I somehow lost the file for several years. Eventually, someone contacted me on the .org and gave me their copy of it, and I was able to have it again.

Then, 30 September 2020, I finally remade the video. When I remade it, I briefly renamed the video “Sora.” I’ve since backtracked and gone back to calling it “Zidane’s Home”.

I’ve redone this AMV using the Steam release of FF9 for HD. I’ve made some changes, but the overall feel is the same. There was one scene I just could not find (????) so I kinda winged it, but otherwise this is 99% true to the original. I always liked this simple AMV, so one day (30 Sep 2020) I decided to recreate it with HD footage. I am not sure why I called this “Zidane’s Home” though. To me it’s more about his and Dagger’s love. When I found the file it was just named Sora. That’s what I’m going to refer to it as from now on. Direct link links to HD Youtube version. Note: I didn’t bother trying to be frame accurate. I just chose the same scenes. Original fps was 29.97 and new is 60fps so it might look a bit wonky in the comparison video.

Sonic X - The Movie: Project Shadow PT1 Created/Edited by: Me @kidgenesisarts ( My Original You Tube name is TheDayd111Returns) (The entire movie was Banned from You Tube in 2015)

Basically, I replaced the 4Kids voice actors of the Sonic X dub for the SA2 Dreamcast voice actors. I also replaced the sound effects and music as well for modern sound effects and music from various artists for the background. I also chopped up and blended different episodes together to extend the SA2 arc in order to make it feel more like the game. I also cut out all the scenes involving Chris Thorndyke. I want to keep this truer to the original game. Now bear with me, this was made in 2015. I know I have made a few mistakes while making this. I do plan to remake this movie one day in the future.

The original video was 1 hour and 30 mins long. But I shorten it down to parts so I'm able to upload the videos through here. Anyways, enjoy! I'll post more parts as I go.

I made “Rika’s Blindness” in 2003 on request for someone named Starwire. In 2020, It came to light that Starwire was an old screenname of Seasons when he asked for a copy of the video (since I had taken down all the links for it). He said he still liked it. I had always liked the idea behind the video, and had sort of wanted to remake it. The 2003 vid was done really poorly and I only had 3 episodes to work with. After I happened to find a bluray of Digimon Tamers, I decided that I’d remake the video for Seasons’s birthday. And here we are. Technical Details This video was deceptively difficult and frustrating, especially when it looks so simple. I had to use quite a few masks and match motion due to how the series was animated. I’m still not entirely pleased with it, but it looks way better than when it all started. It took approximately 17 hours to complete. Started on 13 December 2020 and finished on 14 March 2021.

I know how many people are excited that Cloud and Tifa FINALLY get to kiss in Rebirth. But remember that Rebirth is only part 2. Part 3 of the Remake series is probably going to confirm that Cloud and Tifa are endgame. Of course that includes the infamous “Under the Highwind” scene. What I think they’ll do for that is that they’ll show Cloud looking for Tifa only to find her sad about the world ending. He calms her down (“Tifa, it’s okay. I’m here, you’ll be okay”), and they finally confess their love. Afterwards, we get a brief scene of them embracing and making out (think Grey’s Anatomy and other cheesy drama shows). That will be followed up with them both preparing for you-know-what. The screen will cut to black, and while we don’t see them, we’ll hear both of them saying the three words EVERYONE has been dying to hear from them since 1997….

“I love you.”

The next scene has them lying down in a cot/sleeping bag. They are naked, but because this game is rated T, they’re only shown from the neck up. And the next day, when they both board the Highwind, Tifa suddenly realizes that the rest of the crew might have saw them. They did, but Cloud and Tifa quickly change the subject to the final battle against Sephiroth.

We don’t know anything about FF7R3 yet, but I’m hoping most of this ends up being true. I know FF7 isn’t really a love story, but if they keep doubling down on Cloti being canon, it will be a fitting conclusion to their character arc. 7R3 is gonna be the Return of the King of video games.

Sidenote: This is a playlist I made featuring songs that remind me of them. I’ve already made two of them but I’m not proud of those. This is the definitive one, I swear.

I'm not close to finishing remaking this AMV but here's some comparison shots for kagepro day! Old shots are all from 2015 and new shots are from 2021-23.

here's the video I'm remaking. I made it in like a month whereas the new one is taking so much longer |D but I am glad I am remaking it cause its turning out more like how I've always envisioned it.

Oh and here's what it's based on! It's an anime opening for a short anime called Mekakucity Actors which was based on a series of music videos and manga and light novels- but the anime is not the best, I 100% recommend checking out the music videos first if you want to fall down the kagerou daze rabbit hole. I'm not responsible for an emotional damage you experience falling down that hole though, proceed at your own risk LOL
