hello! i just wanted to ask you something but i really dont want it to come across rude or anything? i am just wondering how you sort of? justify continuing to stan key while hes showing such a bad track record over the past months? i wish i felt okay supporting him along with the other members but i really feel uncomfortable when he keeps doing and saying things that are so problematic.
hi dw it doesn’t sound rude! i’m just a little confused (my knowledge/awareness of recent stuff might be a bit limited as i’ve been busy lately!) i know some people have dropped both taemin and key for their colorist comments against minho which i completely understand/have shared on here, but i’d say both taemin and key are equally at fault for this (seeing as they treated the backlash in a similar way/their apology letters were similar too) so i assume this wouldn’t be your main driver for asking? i also know of the hyuna thing that’s since been deemed a mistranslation and deleted (i did reblog the original post of it and had distanced myself from him/posting abt him for a while but since then people have come out with the correct translation which boils down to them hanging out together in the past, which we all knew they did? yk it was also on amsat so im always a bit wary as to the tone/way things people say on tv reflecting their true feelings but that’s really sort of unrelated and a debate of its own) so idk if there’s anything else i’m not aware of that would also come into play here, in case there is i would def want to know to be able to gauge the situation as well. i don’t mean to undermine any of these things and generally like to reblog everything that happens of this sort so that those who follow me/check my blog are aware of it and get to make their own decisions on who to support and what to do moving forward so if i didn’t that would mean i didn’t see! i know people like to sort of bury these things under the rug and im not very online aside from my user tag (hehe<3) these days so that might be the reason.

all sm artists are has-beens 🧍 excluding nct because they never were anything
the only way shinee can be called anything approaching irrelevant is if ur only taking into account international fans lol. domestically they are still very loved and visible! like they're industry icons every bg still wants to be shinee even if they want bts' numbers. no one cares abt what bts is putting out musically atp we all know this but people in the industry definitely do still care abt what shinee produces if you want to say that shinee are has-beens with i-fans that's one thing but key is literally a regular cast member on amsat and key and minho went viral just last year for i live alone not to mention like taemin as a person on whole lmao they are definitely still visible members of the entertainment industry especially for a 15 yr old group

We had one pass this evening while they were transmitting postcards from the international space station by slow scan television.
It came in a little fuzzy, cleared up as the spaceship reached apex here, and then fuzzed out again as they went over the North Atlantic.
Baofeng HT + roll up J pole hung in the upstairs window was the setup to feed the decode on an old laptop.

Moolaadé is a deeply riveting film that explores themes of oppression, toxic masculinity, and revolution with remarkable nuance. The film, directed by Ousmane SembÚne, sheds light on the practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) in a rural African village, where tradition and patriarchy dictate the lives of women and children. Through its compelling narrative, Moolaadé highlights the courage of those who resist oppressive systems, while also exposing the societal mechanisms that sustain such traditions.
At the heart of the film is Colle, a woman of extraordinary bravery and defiance. She is a revolutionary in her own right, standing firmly against a long-standing cultural practice that she knows to be harmful. Her act of defiance begins when she invokes MoolaadĂ©, a spiritual charm that offers sanctuary, to protect a group of girls who seek refuge from the painful rite of purification. This single act of resistance sets off a chain reaction within the village. While it earns her notoriety and the ire of the village elders and traditionalists, it also brings to the surface a deeply held resentment among the women, many of whom have silently endured the suffering imposed upon them. As the conflict escalates, Colle refuses to yield despite numerous threats to her livelihood from her husband, her brother-in-law, and the powerful figures of the village, including the Salindana, the women tasked with performing the practice. Her unrelenting stand against a dogmatic view on women’s sexual health highlights the power of personal conviction in the face of deeply ingrained societal norms.
The village’s power structure is heavily patriarchal, with men holding positions of authority and making decisions that affect the lives of women and children with little regard for their well-being. The male village council dictates policies and enforces social expectations that keep women in a subordinate position. This system not only oppresses women but also restricts men who dare to challenge it. DoucourĂ©, a man who has lived outside the village and has adopted a more progressive outlook, struggles to reconcile his beliefs with the rigid expectations of his community. His love for Amsatou, who is considered unworthy due to her status as an uncut woman (Bilakoro), is one example of how oppressive traditions dictate personal relationships. Similarly, Cire, Colle’s husband, finds himself caught between his love for his wife and the immense pressure from the male elders to reassert control over her.
One of the most compelling figures in the film is Mercenary, a traveling trader who refuses to conform to the village’s rigid social order. He is the first man to openly defy the system, stepping in to stop Colle’s brutal public beating. His act of rebellion, though small, signals the possibility of change and underscores the idea that even deeply entrenched traditions can be challenged.
Interestingly, Moolaadé also explores how women themselves can perpetuate their own oppression. The Salindana, who perform the purification rites, continue the practice despite being victims of it themselves. Similarly, Salba, another village woman, takes her daughter back from Colle out of fear, highlighting how intimidation and tradition work together to maintain the status quo.
Through its powerful storytelling, Moolaadé delivers a profound commentary on resistance, gender politics, and the complexities of social change.

Understanding the sections of the EMSAT  chemistry exam
Tumblr media
Emsat Chemistry exams are among the most prominent tests that students undergo to assess their understanding and comprehension of various chemical concepts. The EMSAT chemistry exam consists of several sections, and students are required to focus well on each section to succeed in this important subject. Let's discuss some sections of the EMSAT chemistry  exam:
1- Basic Concepts:
In this section, students are required to demonstrate their fundamental understanding of key chemical concepts, such as atoms and the periodic table, and basic chemical bonds. Students must understand how atoms are structured and react with each other, as well as the reactions of elements and compounds.
2- Chemical Reactions:
This section covers organic and inorganic Chemistry, as well as acidic and basic reactions. Students must understand how chemical reactions occur, the products formed during these reactions, and the conditions that affect reaction rates.
3- Organic Chemistry:
In this section, students study organic compounds, such as hydrocarbons, alcohols, and organic acids. Students must understand the molecular structure of these compounds and their various reactions.
4- Chemical Analysis:
Students in this section are required to apply chemical analysis skills, including using various methods to determine the structure of chemical compounds and identify their compositions.
5- Solutions and Concentrations:
This section covers the concept of solutions and various concentrations, as well as the effects of dilution and concentration and determining solution concentrations.
6- Chemical Calculations:
This section covers chemical calculations, such as calculating molar mass, standard reactions, and balancing chemical equations.
Understanding these sections and focusing on them effectively helps students prepare for the EMSAT chemistry exam and achieve success. They should ensure thorough review and sufficient practice in each part of the exam to achieve the best results.
