sure enough, the cigarette they'd left at ash tray back back at the smoking area had barely finished burning when little miss. dorothy franks had stopped them. the vouivre was certain the stench clung to their clothing, and, truth be told, the habit had only worsened since their initial departure from rhine lab. the concern was standard by their judgement. though it was more than understandable as, they hadn't been close as others - mainly due to the time the originium director joined rhine.

they took the concern in stride, having heard it plenty of times before, but choose against addressing it. in their mind, as long as they avoided the habit outside of the view of certain people (maybe just ifrit), it's a 'controlled' habit. like many others, they believed it's one easily stopped.

"Use them for what?" Sideroca's tone is mostly confused, but there's a tone of almost... annoyance, below it. She's used to hearing the whispers about her figure, or her being a forte, but to so blatantly propose some kind of... reversal was all the more baffling for it.
