One of the best storytellers ever - @therulernyc - SLICK RICK - when I head the adventures of.. it changed my worldview. Witty, narrative, funny and such skill with the word play. Tomorrow, Wednesday April 17, 6:30-8:30, the Downtown AADL hosts a screening of High Lonesome: The Story of Bluegrass Music, followed by a discussion of Bluegrass with UM Music Professor Mark Clague.

Join us Saturday, April 20, 1-2pm for a free performance by Bill Bynum & Co. at the Downtown AADL.

This show, celebrating country and bluegrass, is a part of the eight-week America's Music project, which examines the history of American Popular Music through a series of films, discussion and concerts.

Tonight, 8-9 pm at Kerrytown Concert House, Peter Madcat Ruth offers up a set of harmonica-driven blues. There's no admission fee for this performance, which is a part of AADL's eight week America's Music series exploring the history of American popular music.
