ahhh the freezer scene <3 that was one of the last things i added to that chapter! i was watching american horror story 1984 in the background of fic writing and trying to figure out what the hell stefan was doing all night and then i saw the, uh, whole locked-in an-oven scene (a bit much) (i could never run stefans skin he would never forgive me) and did the exact opposite lmao

good afternoon!! yeah, I'm okay - I gotta go to work later, but thankfully I have Tuesday off so I get to actually chill once I'm back from the psychiatrist lmfao just gotta get through today and tomorrow, but that's easy enough!

the dogs are good, they've had plenty of scraps today bc my sister came over w her kids, so the dogs are VERY happy

the snakes are okay, I darent go further than that bc ik what the ball pythons are like and I Do Not Trust Them to not get into shenanigans the very second I leave the room fjfkskfkskg 5 snakes and only 3 of them have 1 brain cell, smdh

1. I guess it'd probably be Perveen, in which case, yeah, I do use him quite a fair bit even today; he crops up in almost all of my WW2-era fics. he started out as just, yk, an Indian pilot who came to Britain to fight in the RAF and who hates Americans... he's become a lot more than that now, though - he's a hurricane of a man, but he's also deeply caring and he loves his wife so much that he has a dastar in her favourite colour to remind himself of her.

2. I haven't done one for Cohen (another RAF pilot OC), admittedly, and I would like to get around to it at some point but I'd have to include him in more of my work for that, tbh. same goes for Jozef, but his story is being explored within the fic where he makes his first appearance!

3. when I stopped writing only for school within English classes and started writing outside of it as well, tbh, that's when I first went "oh, right, I'm a writer!"

4. so, when it comes to writing about war, there's a heavy influence of real events, especially the first world war - outside of that, tho? not really lmfao most of my inspiration comes from me sitting there and going "yk whatd be good?" lmfao

5. I'm p sure it was Marvel, and I did write fic for it lmfao

6. I like to write MCD and fluff lmfao that's my 2 favourites. when reading tho, I like horror books, and I like books about war - but I also like books that heavily criticise society and certain elements of it, like 1984, American Psycho and Fight Club.

7. definitely Love, Hate, Sex, Pain - it traumatised @tokillamockingbird427 but it's also just... really good 💀💀 I'm also proud of Where The Wild Wolves Have Gone, which is 100k words and I loved every second of writing it tbh

Teaser Chapter 2

Summary: In the small town of Willowdale, Y/N finds her dull life as a waitress at a mediocre diner get a little more interesting when the mysterious and daunting Sheriff takes an interest in her.

This series will have dubious consent and sexual harassment. It is a dark story about a Corrupt Sheriff’s who manipulates so if you are uncomfortable with that please don’t read!

This story also deals hugely with sexism as its based in the 60s.

He thought maybe that’s why you liked Xavier, he bought a similar red jacket as James Dean from the film several days after meeting you. Xavier also had that rebel vibe to him. He remembered his friend as well being a fan of Marlon Brando hence why he wanted to be an actor. To move out of the suburbs, to go to the dreamland..to Hollywood with you. You used to always want to be around him, he didn’t let the deputies patrol the drive in, since he always saw you there with him. He hated seeing you with his friend but he can’t help himself, he wanted to always be near you, see you and to one day feel your skin on his skin. 

He hated how you and Xavier were like Natalie Wood and James Dean. The perfect couple.

His jaw clenched and his brows furrowed as he starts to get jealous over a dead man.

You noticed his face seems boiling from rage as his hands gripped forcibly the steering wheel…you don’t know why. Scared to ask so you just continue gazing at the view in locomotion from the car window, as your sheer scarf around your head blowing from the impact of the wind.

You loved the aftermath of the rain, the order after the chaos.

Chapter hopefully coming this week 😭, I sadly have a lot happening in my personal life so fingers crossed i have this done by the end of this weekend. It still is in the editing mode.

Also if you haven’t watched Rebel Without a Cause, Xavier’s red jacket reminds me so much of James Dean’s in that film.

St..uu..upid” He mumbles as he points his pointer finger at his chest.

“I know you’re not Kyle. You’re not stupid, okay?” I say while giving him a small smile.

Immediately I am engulfed in a tight hug. His arms wrap around me and his head goes to rest on my shoulder. After a few seconds, my hands start to stroke his hair in a soothing matter.

Before I arrived at Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies, I thought that I was destined to be alone. A certain blonde proved otherwise, he showed me kindness that no one ever has.

Even though he had difficulty talking, somehow I always knew exactly what he wanted to say.

At one point I even thought I was a clairvoyant, but after a few other tests it turned out to not be the case.

“An Ouija board huh?” I say while leaning on the wall next to the closet.

“Madison wants us to find her and we can't afford to lose a single witch if we want to survive.” Replies Zoe as she pours a drink into multiple shot glasses.

After Queenie’s terrifying story about her grandma and a spirit board, I was even less excited about the whole plan.

“There are four of us, and if we want to find Madison we need to witch up.” Says Zoe as she places the now empty shot glass on the board.

After a while of trying, and later contacting the Axeman, we finally managed to reach Madison. All four of us went up to the attic as the spirit board instructed.

It was a horrifying sight, Madison lying there with her arm severed in half. It looked like her body already started to decompose. Yet despite all of the horrific things that happened to her, she still looked peaceful.

Ever since Madison’s return, the academy felt more like a war zone than a school. Fiona was going after possible supremes and rekindling old feuds with neighboring covens.

Despite everything that was going on, I could still seek comfort in my two closest friends at the academy. Due to the fact that I was getting closer to Kyle, it also meant that I was getting closer to Zoe.

Since the day I met her I knew that she was going to be a big part of my life.

“Hey YN, can you help me gather some herbs in the garden?” Asks Zoe, interrupting my thoughts.

“Yeah of course, I’ll grab the baskets.” I reply while getting up and going towards the kitchen.

After spending about a half an hour out in Cordelia’s garden, Zoe and I head back inside.

“So Kyle seems to like you quite a lot..” Says Zoe as she empties the contents of her basket onto the table.

“Yeah I like him too, he’s a really good friend.” I reply while doing the same.

“Mhm.. he’s definitely the light this place needed.” She responds while looking at the dark hallway outside the kitchen.

Following our little chat in the academy’s kitchen, I went upstairs to clean up. Before getting in the shower I decided to pay Kyle a visit in his room.

After knocking a few times and getting no answer I figured that it was okay for me to come in. As I went through the door and into his bedroom, I saw him sleeping peacefully on his bed.

His body was fully under the covers except for one arm which was tangling off the bed and he had a light smile resting on his lips.

He looked almost angelic under the golden light of the sunset.

I was about to leave the room when I heard a quiet whisper of my name. I turned around and saw Kyle sitting up on the bed, he was smiling like a kid on christmas morning.

“Hey Ky, sorry I didn’t mean to wake you up.” I say as I walk up to him.

In response he just shook his head which made his blonde curls fall onto his face.

Instinctively I brought my hand up to his face to try and fix his hair. Immediately after my fingers connected with his golden curls, I noticed that Kyle closed his eyes and his dimples were now visible.

As I continued to play with his hair I realized that he started to lean on my shoulder. After a few minutes I removed my fingers from his hair and tried to get him back into bed.

“H..ha…p..py.” Stuttered Kyle as I pulled the blanket over his body.

“I’m happy too Ky.” I responded while giving him a small smile.

For the first time in a long time I could say that I was truly happy. Sure the coven played a big part in that happiness, but the main reason was Kyle.

“Okay I’m gonna go make you some dinner, in the meantime try and get more sleep.” I said as I finished tucking him in.

“N..no..sta..y.” Kyle hesitated for just a moment before taking my hand into his own.

At that I gave him a small nod and decided to lay down on the bed. After making sure that it was okay with Kyle, I got under the warm blanket.

After getting situated I noticed that Kyle was already drifting off to sleep. I moved a bit closer so that way I could be the big spoon and he the little.

Turns out that Kyle was a big fan of that idea. A few moments after my arm wrapped around him, he began to let out soft snores. His hand also went up to hold mine, as if to make sure that I wouldn’t get up and leave.

If there was one thing I knew for sure is that I would never leave Kyle Spencer.

The following morning I was woken up by the sun which was seeping through the curtains. I turned to face Kyle and noticed that he wasn’t sleeping. His eyes were focused on my face, when he realized that I caught him staring he just gave me a goofy smile.

“G..g..ood..m…mm..moor-“ I smile as Kyle attempts to communicate his thoughts.

After a few seconds he lets out an irritated huff and burries his face in the pillow.

“Hey hey it’s alright. Good morning to you too Ky.” I comfort him as he continues to wallow.

I gently place my hand on his shoulder and tell him that I was going to go get us some breakfast. Once again he protests, but I still exist the bedroom telling him that I would be right back.

As I walked into the kitchen I noticed Zoe standing over by the fridge.

“Hey Zoe!” I greet her while grabbing two bowls out of the cabinet.

“Oh my god YN where have you been? I thought something happened .” Says Zoe as her face pales ans her arms go up to her heart.

Late Night Anxieties (Brooke Thompson x reader)

You were asleep when the phone rang. Groaning, you rolled over on your bed to see who it was. Answering the phone, you put it up to your ear before speaking, your voice groggy with sleep. "Hello?"

You didn't hear anything at first but static. "Hello?" Thinking it was one of your friends pulling a prank, you huffed, irritated. "Look, if this is some kind of joke, I don't find it very funny. So if you don't have anything to say to me, then I'm hanging up."

"W-wait! Please don't hang up!" A strangled voice cried on the other line.

You quickly shot up in bed, recognizing it as Brooke. "Oh my God, Brooke, are you okay? What happened? What's going on?"

"I, um, I had a nightmare," she stammered out, heaving loudly as if she was trying to catch her breath. "I'm sorry for not speaking, I just- I was just worried someone might be outside. Sounds pretty stupid, huh?"

"Oh, Brooke, hun, no, that doesn't sound stupid at all," you reassured her.

Although you couldn't see it, she blushed at the affectionate nickname. "I just...I don't want to be alone. If it's not too much to ask, would you mind coming over?"

"Of course not, I'll be there in 15, okay? Just try to hold on until then."

"Okay, thank you," she sniffed.

Fifteen minutes later, you were pulling into Brooke's driveway. Turning off the car, you got out and grabbed your overnight bag from the backseat. You always kept it there in case something like this happened, knowing all too well about Brooke's anxieties and fears.

When you got to the door of her apartment, you sent her a text letting her know you were there, so as not to make her freak out by thinking somebody was trying to break in. You pulled out the spare key she had given you and unlocked the door before stepping inside and quietly shutting it behind you.

Setting your bag down on the kitchen counter, you hesitantly walked through the apartment.

"Brooke, hun? It's me, I'm here," you called out as you looked for her.

"I'm in here," you heard her voice come from the bedroom.

Walking into the bedroom, you saw Brooke sitting on the bed, phone in one hand and clutching a kitchen knife in the other.

"Woah, who were you planning on killing with that? Not me I hope," you joked as you slowly walked over to her. She was visibly shaking, so whatever scared her must have been pretty bad.

"Huh? Oh, yeah" she said as she realized she still had the knife in her hand. "I was worried what would happen if someone broke in, so I got this to defend myself." Her knuckles had turned white from clutching the knife so hard.

"Well, I'm here now. There's nothing to be afraid of, okay? I promise," you gently reassured her as you took the knife from her hands and put it on the bedside table.

"Do you feel comfortable telling me what happened?" You asked you as you sat down on the bed next to her.

"Um, well, I was in my bed sleeping," she began as she looked around nervously, "and then I heard something coming from outside, and at first I thought it might have been a raccoon or something, but then I saw a figure in the window, and, I just got so scared..." she trailed off, tears starting to form in the corners of her eyes.

"Oh, Brooke, honey," you said as you wrapped your arms around her, trying to make her feel safe and prevent her from crying. "It's okay sweetie, alright? I'm here now." You wiped away the tears that had began to slip down her cheeks.

"Thank you for coming over," she said as she held onto you tightly.

"Of course sweetie, whatever you need I'm here for you, okay? You don't have to worry about a thing," you said as you started rubbing her back, trying to calm her down.

"Do you want to try to go back to sleep?" You calmly asked her.

She immediately shook her head no. "I don't think I'll be able to, but you can if you want. The couch is a pullout if you want to sleep there."

"Don't be silly, I want to stay up with you," you said.

"But-"

"No buts missy, that's final." You said persistently. "I'll be right back, okay? I'm just going to go grab my bag real quick."

She nodded her head. "Okay."

You went into the kitchen and picked your bag up off the counter, carrying it into the bedroom with you. Once you got in there, you set in down on the edge of the bed.

"Do you mind if I change in here?" You asked, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable.

"No, it's okay," she said as she watched you unzip your bag and dig through it, searching for your pajamas.

Once you found them, you turned around and started getting undressed, until you heard a small "wow" come from behind you.

Turning back around, you saw Brooke staring at you awe. Once she realized you had caught her, her eyes widened and she quickly slapped her hands over her eyes.

"Oh my God, I am so sorry! I was looking at the floor, but then I glanced up at you to see if you were done, and I saw how hot you were-" She immediately stopped talking, her face turning bright red as soon as she realized she had said the word hot.

You chuckled as you put your pajamas on. "It's fine, really. And you're not so bad yourself you know." You winked at her.

If she was red before, then now she truly was the color of a tomato.

"Sorry, I just-" she sighed. "I have something to confess. I've had a crush on you for the longest time, and that's one of the reasons why I called you here tonight, and not Montana or anyone else. Also, you actually take my fears seriously, and that means a lot to me. So I guess what I'm trying to say is-" she took a deep breath. "Will you go out with me?"

"Oh, baby, of course I will," you said as you walked over to her and took her hands into yours. "I thought you knew I'd been flirting with you all along, but I guess not."

"You were flirting?" She groaned as she flopped back onto her bed. "I'm so stupid, I thought you were just being friendly."

You giggled as you heard her sigh in disbelief. "Obviously, what did you think I was doing? I'm not that friendly with just anyone. Maybe a little with Montana, but we've known each other for awhile."

"So...you'd be okay going out with me?"

"Of course! I already said yes silly, didn't I?" You said as you smiled at her.

You two sat in silence for a few moments before Brooke spoke again.

"May I kiss you? If you're comfortable with it, of course," she asked.

"Sure," you said, leaning in to give her a gentle kiss on the lips.

"Thank you," she said softly.

You chuckled as you cuddled up next to her on the bed. "Anytime."
