Evangelina had fled Chicago, or more like booked a flight full of guilt and despite the reassurance and support of her friends and adoptive brother from House 51 and those from the PD, she simply needed a break and so left to Los Angeles where she joined House 118 where she believed she had found a second family but after a little too many accidents and being treated like a child, she has had enough.

Evangelina Buckley is determined to show 118 she is so much more, so what if she has to sue them in order to give them a reality check? It's really just a bonus because soon enough Chief Alonzo realises his LAFD isn't as great as he thought, at least 118 isn't and so calling in a favour from Chicago from an old friend might just be what Evangelina needs to realise the 118 was never family, the 51 were.

“Such a big miracle in such a little girl.” This photo shoot comes with a lot of emotion. Last year i suffered a miscarriage. The feeling after you experience that is nothing i would wish on my worst enemy. The failure, depression, anger, you feel is incomparable. You feel like everyone can tell what has happened to you, even though rationally you know they have no clue. People offer what they think are comforting words but if they haven’t been through it they don’t know. You are ashamed and hopeless. You go through physical pain and it leaves deep emotional scars. Two months later i found out i was pregnant again. I felt guilty because i should have been elated but i was so cautious. Not wanting to get my hopes up. Then we heard the heartbeat and i couldn’t help but cry. My sweet baby. I was grateful for every time i threw up, every time i was too tired to move. I never took it for granted because i know what loss feels like. My pregnancy wasn’t an easy road either but after all of that...when Amelia was born it was like coming up for air. She was exactly like a rainbow after a storm. Even though the aftermath of the storm doesn’t easily go away, there is beauty in the chaos.
