Actual funniest way Armand changing Daniel could have gone down is that old man having a medical emergency 3 minutes after Louis leaving the penthouse and like bro falls down some stairs and Armand’s life flashes before his eyes cause Louis just said not to harm Daniel and now it going to look like he did.

they settled for each other, and that’s fine, this is fine, they’re all FINE, but really, the thing both of them want more than anything in the world is his love, and louis is the one who has it, even though armand was there first. and louis may be cruel and self-destructive at times, but at least he’s locked in there with him, at least there’s someone to serve, at least he’s not alone, that’s something armand can work with.

incredibly important scene to remember when considering the truth of the trial is the one from 2x04 where Armand freezes and manipulates an entire restaurant of people, including the entirety of the theatre coven (save Santiago who he chastises alongside Louis). And it was nothing. He seemed far more annoyed than burdened or overwhelmed. Meanwhile season 1 Lestat commanded a group of soldiers to exit his house peacefully and started bleeding from the ears from the amount of effort it took.
