Oh my gosh! I totally forgot to post this yesterday! (And Taco Tuesday because I think it's funny and I already used throwback for Thursday.)

Summary:

The pack sits at the long harvest table inside the loft. There are books spread out on top of printed out sheets of paper from the last meeting, only days prior. They’re all quiet, sombre. Long gone are the days of teasing and banter; there are no jokes or laughter anymore.  Peter keeps his distance from them, sitting on the spiral staircase. He’d prefer to have as little to do with Scott McCall and his little band of misfits as possible, but for this cause, they are united. Today marks four months. Four months that Stiles Stilinski has been missing.  They still know nothing.

With The Wild Wolves Around You by runningwithwerewolves (9/9 | 168,119 | Gen | Sterek) The one where Stiles was born a werewolf and became an alpha when he was eight years old after his mom was killed. Stiles' dad knows about the supernatural, Scott did not grow up in Beacon Hills and has been a wolf for about a year before he moves to Beacon Hills and becomes Stiles' first beta. Derek is angsty, smart and pining for Stiles has serious trust issues and is bent on vengeance. 

Major plot points will be struck but the plot of season one will be seriously altered for obvious reasons. Read the tags for more.

Spark Bonds by Carerra_os (1/1 | 34,003 | Teen | Peter/Stiles/Deucalion) The alpha pack comes to town and Stiles piques their interest. His own pack doesn't treat him as such, the alphas decied he needs to be taken care of and they all enjoy him taking care of them.

"I don't usually have someone protecting me." Stiles whispers loudly still smiling and though his heart gives no sign of a lie his scent does sour a bit at the end indicating something that will require some looking into.

"Perhaps not." Deucalion says, still thinking about that scent hanging in the air. "But perhaps you should." He says and can practically taste the tension that shoots through the boy next to him.

The pack think they are protecting Stiles by kicking him out just as the Alpha pack becomes a real problem (hint, the only thing they are protecting are their own asses). Unfortunately for them Stiles takes offence at this and Peter agrees, actually so does the Sheriff. Maybe it's time for Stiles to stop pretending he's so damn breakable and show these doggies how the wild things play.

Phoenix by WitchChris (21/21| 28,939 | Gen | Sterek) The pack (Derek really) has mistreated Stiles for far too long. Always put aside. Always useless. But Stiles is Done with that. It is time to unleash his inner fire and with the help of a certain "evil" alpha pack he is going to show how strong and needed he really is.

When he overhears the entire pack trashing his appearance, he leaves, devastated. Peter, his good friend, lays it out for the pack. He takes Stiles dancing to teach him how actual people see him. Stiles is shocked and feels like a new man. 

Light on the angst, hilarious descriptions of the pack, hopefully a sweet romance.

The Worst Beta (aka the Grindr Bite Fic) | Steter | Explicit And sure, okay, maybe Stiles could have figured out that the guy was a wolf. Scott levels him with a Look. "Gee, I wonder where I've heard something like that before."

Possessive Beasts (WIP) | Steterek | Explicit | 16,549 words posted The possessive thing in Peter's chest snarls for him to sink his teeth into Stiles Stilinski, but he waits. It's a small victory that it was his information that got them to the point of the ritual, even if they still have no idea who could be working its magic.

Body Swaps. I love body swaps because we really think we know other people. We really think we know what they go through. But we don't! Bodyswap au you can really play with that. It is so rich for feels, for the sexy, everything.

Like, I'm a Buffy fan. And one of my favorite BTVS eps ever are when she and Faith swap bodies. Faith is SHOOK she is TRANSFORMED by being treated with gratitude from people and tenderness from her partner. I love that trope of kindness transforming people and also the fact that how people see you can be a self fulfilling prophecy. You can play with all of that. ALSO she was suddenly protective of Buffy in a weird way, so it caused this bond too. I loved it. Love it.

Animal. And for the animal thing? I adore that one too. So much potential. There is the emotional thing of being able to recognize the one you love even when they're furry or scaly. XD There's the thing of....how does that person treat animals when no one is around? I bet theyre kind and a big old softie and they let the mangy little thing curl up right next to it. So much good stuff to be had in there.

There's a Lambert/Aiden one I cannot find now because I'm so bad at bookmarking fics. And you can't search Lambert, Aiden, and cat, and narrow it down. But there's one where Aiden is an actual cat and Lambert looks after him. Come on that's so cute.

I'm trying to remember who wrote the fic where Eskel meets a fox and it's Jaskier. It's a short one shot. OH WAIT I ACTUALLY REMEMBERED TO BOOKMARK THAT ONE. It's @ambersagen and it's a fox (Jaskier) wandering into Eskel's camp.

But I love that one and it kind of made me fall in love withthe trope to begin with.
