Northern lights at Amager Strand and Kastrup recreational harbour tonight. Copenhagen is quite far south and this location is in the middle of light pollution from both the airport and downtown - yet the northern lights were visible with the naked eye for a good hour thanks to one of the strongest solar storms since november 2021, which left them observed as far south as Belgium.

Albert Gottschalk (July 3, 1866 - 1906) was a Danish painter who was inspired by French landscape artists, and later became a student of P.S. Krøyer. He was friends with poets and painters of the early modern breakthrough in Danish arts, but not appreciated by a contemporary audience, who saw his works as rough and unfinished.
