I am so sorry for asking this a second time if you've already seen it, but I think Tumblr went and gobbled up the original and I didn't get it back :p Hope this isn't a bother, but...

You mentioned at one point that you work as a storyboard artist, and I got all curious about that since it's basically my dream job! I wanted to ask, what's it like being a storyboard artist? Do you have coworkers, or work within a building with a couple other people, or is it a work-at-home kind of job? Are the deadlines hard to reach or are the manageable? Do you need certain equipment for this job or can you use any drawing/art program as long as its functional?

I have a few more questions but they're a bit more "Personal," (monetary junk that you probably don't wanna answer) so I'll save them for the actual job interview. I can tell you about it, but if you speak fluent English, your experience is likely to be VERY different from mine.

Because in my country the animation industry is practically dead.

So...haha yeah...my situation is a little unconventional I guess.

Basically, I have nothing.

No office, no co-workers, no requirements for the programs I use.

I kind of...work sitting on my bed with a tablet on my lap because I don't even have a fucking table lmao. Deadlines were really hard to meet when I first started, but after a year on the job I've learned to draw five times faster and it's no longer an issue.

My goal now is to learn English well enough to find a job in any country that isn't mine. And I have absolutely no idea what it looks like to work at a studio that pays you in dollars, not leaves :т

Okay, something might be wrong with my Tumblr. I can't send any replies, I can't talk in private messages, I can't talk at all except through posts.

It's been like this for two days no matter how many times I restart my phone.

I tried going to the app store just in case I missed an update but no, the one I have is still the current version.

Does anyone know what's happening? I need help.

Experience in RP. Every time I answer a question like this, I feel myself aging. So — my first ever experience role playing was in forums mid 2000s. Then it moved to MSN. Then AIM. What I used depended on what the other person had. That held up until 2011, when I discovered tumblr. I had no idea what I was doing and I missed the structure of forums, so I joined a group. 2013 is when I dipped my toes into the full independent role play experience. From then on I role played in different games, social media, forum like structures and of course messengers. However, nothing hits the dopamine button for me like writing on this hellsite.

Best experiences. There’s one story that comes to mind, that I use as an example of early tumblr role play culture. There was a time that I was in the undertale fandom, writing napstablook. A melancholic ghost whose special interest is music. Back in the day, there were people who made blogs for ridiculous cross overs. Frequently a blog I interacted with on this little ghost character was John Cena. The irl professional wrestler. It’s a meme now, but that wild cross over — fun for fun sake culture was a joy to be a part of. Another nice memory is back in 2014 — my role play friend group and I made self insert blogs so we could role play hanging out. It cute, thinking back on it.

Pet peeves or deal breakers. Eh, I tend not to dwell on this sort of thing. Typically I just try to vibe, and move of if it doesn’t work.

Muse preference. I like attitude. Someone who’s fun to write.

Plots or memes. Memes for sure.

Are you like your muse(s). Considering almost all of my ocs branched off a trauma (writing in order to cope), it would be safe to say that I am somewhat like them. As for canon — I think I less pick characters I’m like, and more who I want to be like. If that makes sense.

First, neither my posts nor my self-reblogs showed up. Then, when that started to work again, my recent gifset just didn’t appear in the tags. I thought I solved it but I guess not? I mean, I don’t mind talking to myself - that’s what I mostly do on here either way lmao

But it’s still annoying … am I shadow banned because I didn’t post for a couple days and only had stuff queued or something…? I’m tired of reposting the same exact thing several times until it finally works…

okay, so. here's the thing: I can read your replies to my posts but I can't seem to reply myself. My chat is gone and my inbox has been emptied out, apparantely all signs of being "shadow banned". I already send a request to support. I can still post and it seems like my followers can still see everything too, I just can't interact and apparently my tags disappeared from other's notifications. I am guessing (pretty sure) it's because I have been too lazy to switch on mature content on some posts. probably the last fic was a little too ... exciting for tumblr.
