one of the reasons it's really hard for a lot of intersex people when intersex topics are on the news cycle is because the public's reaction reveals how little anyone knows or cares about intersex people, including people who call themselves our allies. almost every time intersex topics are trending, the discourse surrounding them is filled with misinformation. people who only learned today what the word intersex means jump into conversations and act like an authority. endosex/dyadic/perisex people get tripped up over things that are basically intersex 101, with tons of endosex people incorrectly arguing about the definition of intersex, who "counts," DSD terminology, and so much more. i've seen multiple endosex people say today that they've been "warning intersex people" and that we should have known that transphobia would catch up with us eventually, which is an absolutely absurd thing to say given the fact that consistently over the past ten years, it has often been intersex people sounding the alarm on sex-testing policies and also the fact that many, many intersex people are also trans, and already are facing the impacts of transphobia. there is an absolute failure from the general public to take intersex identity seriously; people seem not even able to fathom that intersex people have a community, history, and our own political resources. instead, endosex people somehow seem to think they're helping by bringing up half-remembered information from their high school biology class which usually isn't even relevant at all.
and this frustrates me so fucking much. not because i want to deny the impacts of transphobic oppression--i'm a trans intersex person, trust me when i say i am intimately aware of transphobia. this frustrates me because there is no way we can achieve collective liberation if our "allies" fail to even engage with basic intersex topics and are seemingly unaware of the many forms of intersex oppression that we are already facing every fucking day. if you are not aware of compulsory dyadism, if you are not aware of interphobia, if you are not aware of the many different ways that intersex people are directly and often violently targeted--how the fuck do you think we're going to dismantle all of these systems of oppression?
if you were truly an intersex ally, you would already KNOW that this is not new, and would not be surprised--interphobia in sports has been going on for decades. you would know that we do have a community, an identity, a history--you would have already read/listened/watched to intersex resources that give you the background information you need for allyship. you would know that although there is a really distinct lack of resources and political education, that intersex people ARE developing a political understanding of ourselves and our oppression--Cripping Intersex by Celeste Orr and their framework of compulsory dyadism is one example of how we're theorizing our oppression. It's absolutely fucking wild to me how few people I've seen actually use words like "interphobia" "intersexism" "compulsory dyadism" or "intersex oppression"--endosex people are seemingly incapable of recognizing that there is already an entrenched system of oppression towards intersex people that violently reshapes our bodies, restricts our autonomy, and attempts to eradicate intersex through a variety of medical and legal means.
you cannot treat intersex people like an afterthought. not just because we're meaningful parts of your community and deserving of solidarity, but also because intersex oppression impacts everyone!!! especially trans community--trans people will not be free until intersex people are free, so much of transphobia is shaped by compulsory dyadism, the mythical sex binary, all these ideas of enforced "biological sex" that are just as fake as the gender binary.
it makes me absolutely fucking livid every time this shit happens because it becomes so abundantly clear to me how little the average endosex person knows about intersex issues and also how little the average endosex person cares about changing that. i don't know what to say to get you to care, to get you to change that, but we fucking need it to happen and i, personally, am tired of constantly being grateful when i meet an endosex person who knows the bare minimum. i think we have a right to expect better and to demand that if you're going to call yourself our ally, you actually fucking listen to us when we tell you what that means.
okay for endosex people to reblog.

I wanna be a chill person and I totally don't engage with stuff when I disagree with it -I just scroll by. I tell myself this is not serious enough for you to be so anal about esp when it's regarding shipping and jikook like don't be the fun police. But deep down I know at my core that's what i am. I am the fun police.
Like I just saw a post about wow isn't it nice that JK was paying for everything in Sapporo? Jimin's his baby!! And I couldn't help thinking like girl they're multi millionaires, the purchase needs to be solid gold blocks for me to really feel the impact. Now to be fair JK is the brokest multi millionaire I've seen so I guess it's romantic in it's own way but also knowing JK and his rich broke ass, there's a very real possibility he company expensed everything he spent on that trip soooo like is that still special orr...
You know what I do when I see stuff I don't agree with or rubs me the wrong way? I block the account 🤭 Honestly, even for like the smallest things. Cause I get annoyed and anal about dumb stuff too, but precisely because it is shipping and jikook, I do whatever I can to make my time online as pleasant as possible.
As to your issue, it's hilarious. Yes, Jungkook operates like a broke ass millionaire. And you know what? If they hadn't used a company card, then jikook were stupid. I'm 100% sure everything was under company expenses and good for them. Jimin and Jungkook secured for themselves three trips (of which two were international) under the guise of work just so they can be able to travel before enlistment. Why should they spend their own money? Good for them, they're smart. (You think that 5-storey mansion in Itaewon paid for itself?, lol)
Anyway, even if the card and the cash wasn't actually Jungkook's, it is still a bit cute how he was the one handling the money. Just like in CT when he took the lead on ordering and speaking in English.
I mean, look at his little pouch 🥺
Tumblr media
Lastly, no one likes the fun police. Especially in situations which are really not that serious. This particular thing with the money is so insignificant anyway. I mean, there's solos spreading jikook coworkers agenda (by using jikook acc). Go and police those, anon. It will probably feel better.

Hello, my name is Jón Sveppir, you can call me Ranger Sveppir. I am a retired Ranger who now works at Skjøldur Labs in the Ohrken Region, and I am making this blog to share stuff about my work and show the great work the scientists are doing here.
So some important things out of the way:
I was born in Sinnoh
I joined the Sinnoh Rangers at 20, and served with them for for 14 years before being transferred to the Almia HQ. I have served in most regions at some point or another excluding Paldea and a few other.
Yes this does mean I have worked in Orre, yes It was not a fun experience.
I served with the Rangers until the age of 65 when I was forced to retire, though at that point I was no longer doing field-work. I was then approached by Skjøldur Labs who I had aided in the past while with the rangers and they offered to hire me, so here I am.
These days I mostly do paperwork and act as a interlocutor between the Rangers and Skjøldur.
Speaking of I should cover Skjøldur.
The lab here help with more bizarre or extreme cases that most other labs or centers cannot handle or lack the resources to do so. We also work on ways to allow Pokemon with these severe conditions to live longer happier lives.
For example, you may have seen quadrupedal pokemon with with wheelchairs before, the original design for which was created by the Skjøldur Labs founder.
Sorry for all the rambling I have never been one to be short-spoken. But yeah this blog is to share some of our work and to just share some of my day to day things. Feel free to ask any question you like, and I will do my best to answer. However, in cases of pokemon health and/or care, don't treat my words as gospel, take your pokemon to a center or somewhere else please. But yeah, feel free to ask whatever you like.
Gonna add my pokemon here as well for those interested.
Woops: (M) My starter and old af quagsire. Caught him in sinnoh as a wooper when I thought I was gonna be a trainer and he became my partner when I became a ranger. I have like 40-somethijg nicknames for this guy so if I say something like woops'alot or Woopsifur or Sire I'm talking about him.
Sol: My Valcorona, had a Larvesta egg dumped on me while I was in Unova, a real sweetheart, also has a sweet tooth, don't leave your snacks unguarded.
Sandy: (F) My castform, got her a while back when I was still an active ranger, she's a rescue from a raid done on an illegal breeding operation. Dr.Amilee discovered she likes wearing clothes so if you see a castform in a silly hat in one of my photos that'd be her.
Some other things
* Asks are open, feel free to ask anything, there are no stupid questions.
* Pelliper Mail is open.

Month of Emmet Quick Write #15
Prompt #15: Coffee Break/ Free Space
It's never fun being lost in a strange region, especially when you get stranded due to an unforeseeable delay in transportation. Annoyed by his host region's perturbing lack of functioning public transportation and unnerving emptiness, Emmet lets his curiosity get the better of him the moment he finds out that a "train" exists.
(Heavy emphasis on the 'free space' part of the prompt. If you know what this fic references, kudos.)
Read the whole thing below the cut.
Emmet waited patiently for his order to arrive, tapping his shoes against the battered linoleum as he scanned the counter for a sign of his drink. Visiting a foreign region was always fun but mostly when he knew the layout of the place. That and when he had somebody with him.  He had been away from Unova on a vacation-esque trip with his Uncle Drayden visiting numerous different places for numerous different things. However, their plane had been forced to make an emergency landing after reports of treacherous weather, leaving both Emmet and Drayden stranded in a region hours and hours away from Unova- a region so obscure that Emmet couldn’t even recall the name of the place- just that it bordered Orre to the west.
Emmet glanced out the window of the small coffee place he stood in. Both him and his uncle wouldn’t be able to leave the region for another two days, being forced to book a hotel room in the meanwhile. That wasn’t what annoyed Emmet. He had more than enough money to pay for emergency food and lodging. No. What annoyed him was that the particular city he was stuck in had next to nothing within it.
Emmet had lived almost all of his life in Unova which was packed with busy cities which had unfaltering connections with closeby regions. There was always something to do. Someplace to be. Unova had ferries and trams and trains to the point where cars were obsolete, used only in cases of emergency vehicles like ambulances or fire trucks. Cities were interconnected. Routes had waystations. There was always somebody within a mile radius. There was always somebody nearby. And that was definitely not the case in his host region.
The town where his plane had landed- a forested valley town in the middle of nowhere called Mahonia- featured next to nothing. Open woods were the norm. Barely paved roads that lead only to private properties. Dark roads with no street lamps. Late buses that were almost always crammed with passengers with less than optimal hygienic standards. No trams. No taxis. And to Emmet’s absolute confusion, no trains. At least, none that he knew of.
“Order for Emmet! Medium hot chocolate!”
Emmet nodded, fixing a smile onto his face. “That is me. I am Emmet.” He graciously thanked the barista before pausing. Due diligence. “Excuse me, ma’am. A question for you if you have the time.”
“Of course,” the barista spoke with her strange accent reminiscent of a Driftveil drawl. “How can I help you, sir?”
“Are there any trains around here?”
Almost immediately, the barista frowned. “No, not really. Well, there’s the TRL but it runs once every other day.” The lady turned around, glancing at the clock on the wall. “Comes through Mahonia sometime during the night, but it’s a one-way ticket. You’d only have the option of rolling all the way down to Ringtail in the south. If you ride it all the way around, it would take you up to Righeap first- all the way in the east- and the TRL would get you back to Helesia all the way in the north. I don’t think the train travels through Agoldfair.”
“Where?”
“Agoldfair.” The barista shot him a look. “You’re not from here, are you? Lemme guess. You’re from another region?”
Emmet jokingly rolled his eyes, knowing well that the clothes he’d been wearing on the plane- a gimmicky t-shirt and sweatpants- stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the people in the cafe who wore thick sweaters and scarves. “Yes. How could you tell?”
The barista only smiled politely at him. “Public transit pretty much doesn’t exist here. Most people just use cars or ride pokémon. You’d have to be from another region to even think about having standard access to luxuries like easy-access trains.”
Emmet hummed. “That is… very unfortunate. I am sorry to hear that. There are plenty of trains in Unova. And shuttle services. And trams.”
“Lucky you.”
Emmet’s chat with the barista had gotten him two things: a hot drink for the chilly night weather and the smallest of hints toward maybe doing some sightseeing. It would be the only time for him to lurk around the city; Drayden had gotten food poisoning from something he had eaten before leaving Unova.
The TRL- better known as the Transregional Line- was a single train that ran once every three days from the northernmost point in the region to the southernmost point. And given how large and mountainous Emmet’s host region was, the TRL took a total of three whole days just to make one trip. He quickly found out when the next departing time would be, his eyes widening.
“Oh. The next train departs in an hour. Convenient.” Emmet checked for where the nearest station was, frowning. “The station is… in the middle of nowhere. At the edge of town. Grrreat. And there are no taxis. Eeeeven better.” At his side, Emmet’s Archeops had appeared, playfully flapping their wings as they smushed their face into Emmet’s shirt. “Archie, you cannot lift me that far. You’re better at running, not flying.”
“Rrr.” Archeops looped one circle around Emmet before flying up to his shoulders and working their talons underneath Emmet’s arms, furiously flapping their wings to try and lift him up.
“You’re determined to escort me to my destination. Very well. Let us proceed then. But! Do not drop me.”
“Rrrarr.”
By the time Emmet had arrived at the station, the treacherous night chill had progressed into a storm, sleet raining from the sky as Emmet’s Archeops flew him in closer to the barren platform before retreating into their pokéball with an exhausted whimper. And barren the platform was if Emmet could even call it that.
It was a desolate slab of concrete with no protection from the weather in the slightest. Crude metal benches were bolted into the concrete, a few of the handle bars rusted. And they were odd benches with strange bars dividing the sitting space into thirds. There was no clock. No attendee station. The only signage provided was one solid concrete wall in the middle of the platform with an old-looking timesheet barricaded by a cracked panel of glass.
Even the rails were no better. Weeds grew undeterred through both the gaps in the track and through the concrete, tall dandelions wavering in the whistling wind as the storm tore across the platform, throwing up pebbles and soaking everything in water and dust and dirt. The undergrowth attempted to reach onto the tracks, mostly squashed flat, broken and dying on the ballast.
Emmet paused. Somebody else had been there before him.
Multiple paces away from the nearest light was a figure leaning back on a rusted metal bench, a poncho drawn tightly around them. Hands in their pockets, they tapped on their phone, occasionally swiveling to stare northward before returning to whatever they were doing with an unaware jolly whistle. Beside the stranger was a large Nidoking slumbering with their head resting beside their trainer’s feet.
A commuter. Emmet took another careful glance around. It is unsafe to be sitting alone in such a dark place even with a pokémon. Emmet then swallowed. He was never big on starting random conversations- Ingo was usually better at that than him- but he supposed that if there was a commuter- somebody waiting for the TRL for that matter- that Emmet could figure out when it would be coming. And so he took a deep breath and approached, Eelektross appearing and following him albeit at a much slower pace.
“Excuse me?”
No reaction. The stranger didn’t even seem to notice him, crossing one leg over the other as they laughed at something on their phone. But their Nidoking had definitely noticed him. The bulky pokémon spared one weighty glance toward Emmet, its head angled in such a way that the sparse lamp light revealed massive tearing scars in the poison-type’s exoskeleton. A quiet threat. The behemoth sized him up quietly, one large, lazy eye glancing back at Eelektross before the Nidoking faced its trainer again, going back to dozing as if completely unbothered with Emmet standing so close.
Emmet cleared his throat and tried again. “Pardon me?” When he got no reaction from the trainer yet again, Eelektross floated past him, slowly slithering up to the cloaked trainer while flashing the bioluminescent scales on its body. Red, yellow, green. Red, yellow, green. That immediately garnished the trainer’s attention.
The trainer jumped back in their seat, one hand flashing over toward a hidden object- a pocket knife- that Emmet had only caught a glimpse of in the pale light of the platform lamp. The trainer then turned and upon finally seeing Emmet standing nearby, loudly swore, recoiling in their seat. The stranger then eyed him carefully. “You… Do you need help or something, dude?”
“Ah! Yes! My apologies for startling you.” Emmet kept his voice low.
The trainer only waved him away. “No… No, you’re good. I couldn’t hear you- headphones in. My bad. What’s up?”
At least the people here are friendly, Emmet supposed. “Are you… waiting on a train by any chance?”
“Yeah. The TRL.” The trainer pulled up their phone for a moment, flipping tabs before landing on one page that made their phone brighten. “Hmm. It’s been delayed again. Should be rolling in in about ten or so minutes; maybe twenty if this weather keeps up.”
“Is it usually late?”
The trainer snorted, their Nidoking letting out a rumbling hum as if the two had found what Emmet had said to be particularly funny. “Late? Buddy, the trains are always late. That’s a constant here. Why? Don’t tell me you need to be somewhere at a certain time. Ask to rent a flying-type pokémon,” the trainer advised him. “You’d get to wherever you’re going much faster.”
“The trains are always late?” Emmet echoed dumbly, both confused and irritated at just how bad his host region’s public infrastructure was. “ And that’s okay with the people of the region?”
The trainer nodded, easing back onto the bench. “It’s always been this way.” They then gave Emmet a quick up-and-down, their eyebrows raising. “You’re a tourist?”
“I am. Is it the shirt?”
The trainer chuckled. “It’s absolutely the shirt. Nobody wears shirts praising Calinasi. That place is literally a tourist trap. Everything is expensive there for a reason. That shirt probably costed you over a thousand poké, didn’t it?”
“...Perhaps,” Emmet admitted, fiddling with his hands.
“Yup. It’s a dead giveaway. But if you put on a jacket, it becomes ironic. Makes you look like a local. Don’t ask how that works.” The trainer then looked away, wordlessly going back to their phone. “Train should come through in about fifteen minutes or so by the way.”
“You have a schedule?” Emmet asked incredulously. His own Xtransceiver was having quite a few issues getting any signal.
“On my phone, yeah. You don’t have one? You got a ticket at least?”
“I just wanted to see the train.”
“Oooh. You’re into trains? Cool. The TRL is huge. Not a commuter train; something between a freight hauler and an old timey train. Rattles a lot. Not a whole lotta seats or anything either but they do blow the whistle everytime they come into the station.”
“Verrry cool.”
“I know, right?” The trainer then blinked. “Hey man. Are you just gonna sit there and get wet all night? Because you can dry off over here if you’d like. Ollie is keeping us dry using Protect so if you’re waiting, you can wait with us where it’s warm and dry.”
“Oh! Thank you verrry much.”
“Don’t sweat it.”
Emmet took a seat a pace away from the trainer, finally catching sight of the belt of dinged, dusty looking pokéballs attached to the waistline of their coat. Worn. Shiny with fingerprints. The tell tale signs of a pokémon trainer. Emmet practically found himself vibrating in his seat.
He hadn’t been in his host region for long but for hours, he hadn’t managed to find a single trainer. Not a single youngster. Not a veteran trainer to be seen. He had spotted quite a few interesting looking regional pokémon from afar like a beige-colored Arbok with tail rattles, a Kangaskhan with thick fur all along its body, and to Emmet’s delight and intrigue, he had even seen a Sigilyph variant boasting massive feathery wings that glowed in the dark.
“Are you a trainer?” Emmet asked innocently, unable to focus on anything but the prospect of a potential pokémon battle. It would surely pass the time faster. “Your Nidoking looks strong.”
It was a start to a courteous but wary conversation. The stranger shared next to nothing about themself or what pokémon they were carrying but Emmet did manage to catch a few snippets. The stranger was just an off-duty pokémon ranger waiting for the train to take them back home. Emmet shared a few things about himself like his home region, his passion for battling, and his interest in trains.
Within minutes of striking up a chat, the ranger picked up their head, their eyes following something on the horizon. “There it is. And it’s about time too. I think this storm is just getting worse.”
The TRL truly was massive. A hunk of old metal and squealing joints, the rickety old train clattered along the rails, almost sliding into position going well past where the pokémon ranger had been waiting on the bench. Steam poured from the engine in thick clouds, the old-fashioned metal doors being forced open with a raucous squeal as a few train attendants began to move open the doors and let down the stairs.
“Well that was fun. C’mon Ollie. Time to go.” The pokémon ranger recalled their Nidoking and stretched, reaching into their pocket to procure a paper ticket. They then turned to Emmet. “You still don’t have a ticket, do you?”
“Nnnope. I just came to look at the train.”
“Oh.” The ranger then spared another glance at the engine which was still preparing onboarding procedures. “So you’re just gonna… go back to the city with waterlogged clothes?”
“That was admittedly a shortsight on my behalf. I did not know it would start storming.”
“Fair enough. Hey, do you need an escort back to Mahonia? It’s pouring and I’d feel bad if you ended up getting stranded here on the platform. It happened to me once and trust me- you get stuck out here, you’d better hope somebody knows you’re out here.”
“That’s… ominous.”
“It’s the truth. People have gone missing out here. I’d be careful if I were you, especially since you’re a tourist.” The ranger flashed him a peculiar look. “Ride any taxis lately?”
“If I could find one, I would.”
“Don’t. They’ll rob you. Drive you where you don’t need to go and rack up your fare.” At Emmet’s uneasy expression, the pokémon ranger took a careful pace forward. “Are you sure you don’t need a ride back to your hotel or wherever it is you’re staying? It wouldn’t be any trouble at all, dude.”
Emmet glanced at his Archeops’s pokéball, sighting his companion shivering as they hunkered down into a feathery little ball, Archie’s tail feathers quivering. Out of steam. This really is bad luck. But Emmet wouldn’t admit that much. He could find his own way back to the local city-
“The TRL is leaving in approximately five minutes! All aboard!”
The pokémon ranger merely raised an eyebrow at him. “My guy. You’re completely soaked through and I doubt your Eelektross can fly. You sure? Because I know a guy that could fly you back to town real easy. Free of charge, obviously.”
Emmet carefully weighed his decision. The ranger standing before him didn’t seem at that threatening, patiently waiting for him to answer as they picked at their nails. At his side, Eelektross gurgled, touching their mouth to the rim of their pokéball before disappearing inside of it, seemingly fed up with the storm as well.
“...I might take you up on that offer.”
“That’s what I thought.” The ranger reached for their belt, opening up their poncho to flash Emmet what looked to be a shiny badge. Emmet blinked, recognizing the internationally-recognized badge denoting certified pokémon rangers. The ranger plucked a dusk ball from their belt and rolled it around in their palm. “Hey, Wavebird. Think you can give this guy a lift back to Mahonia?”
From the trainer’s side appeared a tall and imposing Noivern, the pokémon’s wings boasting criss-crossing scars. It took one look at Emmet and then nodded.
”Okay. Wavebird will get you back to town,” the trainer nonchalantly stated. “That’s that then.”
“But you will be departing from this station shortly,” Emmet murmured. “What about your co-conductor? I do not wish to decouple them from you due to a mistake on my part.”
“Oh, don’t worry about that. Wavebird knows the train route inside and out. He’ll catch up with me later whenever he feels like it. He was just gonna cruise outside the train anyways. Might as well get some exercise in with you.”
“I’m not that heavy,” Emmet grunted.
“Never said you were,” the ranger responded cooly. “Best of luck with your trip. Don’t get robbed!”
The train attendants once again called for any passengers to board and before Emmet could say a goodbye, he sighted the pokémon ranger quickly hopping onto the stairs at the back of the train, moving past an attendant and out of sight, leaving Emmet to stand under the wide wingspan of their Noivern, sleet cascading around them.

Have you considered getting more cats?
Did Second leave the blog orr..?
What is something embarassing yet funny thing that happened to you during your CEO days... if it has happened- [such as tripping during something important- you know-]
You were present when Second was animating with Alan?
I'd say that's good progress :)
How do you feel about Alan? Like- you don't hate him, correct? But you also do not like him I presume?
[Victim]: I don't see the point in getting more cats? And yes, Second will not be answering questions anymore. And honestly, it's better this way, I didn't want to keep shoving random questions in their face.
[Victim]: Something embarrassing.. Well for a good half year, I had no idea how to do any of the work, my bastard employees were shocked from how uninformed I was, which was deathly embarrassing..
[Victim]: I am now more... Neutral on him. Don't hate, don't like, just like that.

Heya! Eliot reporting from Gateon Port!
Finally caved in to social pressure and made a Rotomblr blog.
My name is Eliot [they/them], I’m a Ground type specialist by choice and a Poison type specialist by accident.
I recently moved to a small ranch house in Orre, just outside of Gateon. My home region is just south of Orre, but I’ve actually been living in Hoenn for the last few years, so it’s taken me a while to get used to the dry hot weather again.
I love walking through nature, taking pictures and sketching what I see, so expect to see some pictures and sketches from my hikes around here. I often just post my Pokémon sightings to poryNaturalist, so make sure to look there if you’re interested in my wildlife photography. Orre seems to be such an interesting region and I’m really looking forward to explore it.
Feel free to send asks! I’d love to interact with other Pokémon enthusiasts.
Pelipper Mail, Musharna Mail and Union Circle are on
Malice, Unmails and Magic Anons are off
Tumblr media
Battle Team:
Kipp [Swampert | Male]: My beloved starter. He is very playful and loyal, he looks out for me and I look out for him. He is as adventurous as I am, so we go out into the wilderness together a lot. He believes he is still lap dog sized despite being almost as tall as me when on all fours.
Nettle [Sandslash | Female | Poison Tera]: Found her on 113 while collecting some ash for a flute. She has gotten us out of many sticky situations, both in and outside of battle. She is very athletic and so very proud of her skills. She has quite a couple poison type moves in her arsenal, but we actually didn’t find out she had a poison tera type until our trip to Paldea.
Flan [Clodsire | Female]: Speaking of my trip to Paldea, that’s where I found this lovely gal. She is such a foodie, I always take her to market so we can try some new berries and regional treats.
Grub [Piloswine | Male]: Got him as an egg from a daycare. Grub is so sweet and clingy you could get cavities. He always wants to play, cuddle or just hang out near you and he will bring to you things he things you’ll like (which are mostly cool rocks and sticks).
Ankles [Flygon | Male]: Caught him in 111 as a Trapinch and my ankles suffered the consequences. I thankfully managed to train him to stop biting and now he just gives soft, playful nips. Despite not being an active threat to everyone’s feet anymore, he is still very sassy and will let you know when he’s displeased in the pettiest of way. Let’s say my shoes have mysteriously disappeared more than once, but it’s all in good fun.
Non-Battlers:
Lily [Glameow | Female]: She’s an old lady, used to be really active and adventurous, but now she just loafs around the house. She’s really sweet, a real cuddle bug. Another Pokémon scratched off the cornea of her left eye before she decided to stay with my family, so now she is half blind.
Katy [Nincada | Female]: One of the first Pokémon I caught. Found her just off of Rustboro while I was running some errands. There was a connection at first sight and I knew I had to catch her. She’s such a little mischievous little imp, always hiding in the greenery or beneath the ground, playing pranks on me and my other Pokémon.
Sephie [Phanpy | Female]: This safari zone cutie has won so many contests. She’s just delightful. She has a knack for theatrics and acrobatics so she basically choreographs her routines herself, I’m mostly just here to help her shine.
Worm [Barboach | Male]: Caught him while fishing near Mauville. He doesn’t really do much, kinda just hangs around in the pond or his tank. He is very cuddly, tho.
Suri [Rockruff | Male]: Such a silly little guy. Raised him since he was a hatchling. He is really rambunctious and very prone to zoomies. When he was very young, he would stand on his hind legs and look around, just like a Watchog.
Nook [Venomoth | Male]: He just kinda appeared one day inside my house as a Venonat. He is very chill, just kinda hanging out in the greenery.
Varo [Grafaiai | Female]: Also caught her on my trip to Paldea. As an artist, I consider her a kindred spirit. She’s the perfect museum partner. She really enjoys surrealist paintings and always tries to replicate them in her murals.

im moody so let me talk about my characters and why i am rewriting them so much
SUPER LONG POST. I mean it.
some of you have been following me for quite a while, some of you are a bit newer to my blog, some of you might be seeing this and be thinking "who the fuck are you" and to answer that question - hi, im eyris and i have perma gw2 brainrot!
well that was not where i was going. where i was going was "some of you have seen what my characters have been through and that i quite often rewrite them"
so today i'd like to talk about that a little bit. why is it happening, for the start.
I guess the best answer would be that i am getting better ideas and i am getting better at articulating them. i am also growing as a person, which also changes how i view my characters and what i want to say with their story. and sometimes i feel like things are cringe because not many people like my stuff. in no way i mean to fish for likes, no, i am contempt with what im getting (most of the time). what i mean is that i still feel like this very small and cringy blog among so many great people who have much bigger following, better stories, better art, better...everything, really. i guess a part of me wishes to catch up to them, be more like them, even if that is...1. impossible and 2. probably very stupid in your eyes.
so there's that. now, let's go over some of my characters and how they've changed across the years.
EYRIS, the main-main, game-wise and story-wise changes.
Eyris was my very first character, initially she had no story. TBF when i started gw2 my english wasn't so good and i was very lost with the game's story. I mean, i thought the Elder Dragons were some big bad organisation! Some people called themselves Dragons, something like this. As I said - my English wasnt very good back than. TBF I was like....15, I think. Yeah. I also somehow convinced myself I had to keep Eyris as a sylvari because other 4 character slots were for other 4 races and i had to keep them free! But I loved playing Eyris! SO! I fucking. I fucking deleted Eyris and made her again. over. and over. and over. and over and over and over and over.
AND THEN I went to a theatre on a school trip and we watched a play and the very handsome actor played a teacher named Mister Ross. I was 16 at a time (I think), so of course I was like "I like that name" and... I deleted Eyris for the final time and remade her as Eyris Ross. I had no idea that sylvari, according to canon, had no surnames. So when the time came when I started designing more lore-compliant story for her, my initial idea was that she was in love with a human and thats how she got her surname but he "died or something" and thats why she was now traversing Orr. I remember writing a scene of Eyris entering a Pact tent with Trahearne conversing with other leaders and she went completely off because she was sent on a suicide mission to scout Arah before going after Zhaitan and only she came back. Yeah. That....was a time. Somewhere in that time I also realised I did not like Ross backstory but I didnt want to delete Eyris again, I grew super attached (also all thjat crafting was developed completely...) so I changed her name to...Eyris of the Night. Because she was a Nightbloom and because someone took "Eyris" and I was sad about it. Still am, tbh. Somewhere then also Anriin came to be. A Priory scholar, quite mean... and she was Eyris's girlfriend who killed her in HoT because Eyris was getting corrupted! So tragic! But I scratched that off because I didn't vibe with it. I think I still have sketches though from that time so if I find them I will post them. I was 19 at the time when Eyris/Anriin was a thing. Then the Soundless plot came in. And then...
I used to have a friend. A best friend, actually. We were a package deal. So of course we bound our stories together. Eyris was just someone who happened to be there. She wasn't the Commander or the Dragon's champion. She was Just Some Plant that happened to be at a place at a time and ended up befriending the Commander (that friend's OC). Then Tragic Backstory TM happened. Eyris was a Soundless who was taken by the Nightmare Court. She was saved by a group of mercenaries (Idk who hired them. don't think too much about it). The group consisted of a young charr gladium (love interest), asura twins (siblings figures) and a norn elder (father figure). there was also a Mean Human Girl TM who bullied her because ???? and there was a drama in the group and the Mean Girl then fucking lured them into a trap (the Undead are attacking!) and everyone fucking died! Eyris survived and Trahearne saved her from the risen. Ever since Eyris hated necromancy (death magic, connection to zhaitan, zhaitan killed her loved ones) and mesmers (the Mean Girl was a mesmer). Eyris tracked her for years and she brutally murdered her in the jungle during HoT (how did the Mean Girl end up in Maguuma in the first place???) but revenge didnt help, it only drew her closer to mordremoth. Also her dog died in HoT (Mordremoth corrupted it and she had to kill it)
And then PoF time. She went to the desert. Why? I don't know. She went there and befriended a wild jackal pack for reasons unknown until today. That's how she got her mount and friend, Aiari. A few years ago Eyris became a Dragon Champion because I wanted to get her to have more story involvement and significance. And some time later I scratched off the Mercenary Group and changed them into Just A Norn Dad plot.
Currently Eyris's story is actually in this google docs right here but recently I had a Big Think and realised that No, the Vigil would NOT be swayed! So... you can take a peek on how it looks for now. Big Thanks to my friend Awerzo who shared her idea of character timelines. I stole it. It helps.
I am pretty sure I forgot some plots that existed for some time hhh
MOVING ON. AIRELL. The second Main.
Remember that friend I mentioned in Eyris's story? Well, Airell was initially created with their Commander in mind as his love interest. It did not fly. OG Airell was a shallow fuckboy that flirted with everything that moved. Then I wanted to add trauma because that's what you do, so Nightmare Court Boyfriend!!! Yeah it... didn't fly.
Then there was "unrequited love for Trahearne" plot, and after HoT Airell shut down and left for the mountains. They were supposed to be alone in their grief and die alone. but my earlier mentioned friend asked if they could make a friend for Airell. I reluctantly agreed. And so, Ewyn Rhosyn came to be. Ewyn and Airell had such a great chemistry that even if me and my friend said "just friends", these two fictional chartacters decided to date. Honestly, one of my fondest memories. I still cannot recreate a similar chemistry that these two characters had and believe me, I TRIED SO HARD.
Anyway, before Ewyn... Airell's grief was accompanied by a wish to forget all the pain they had endured. They set off to find djinn as they heard that the djinn could grant wishes. In hopes they could wish for erasing some painful memories, they looked for them, at the same time growing ravenous. When Airell finally encountered a djinn and learned that djinn magic did not work the waythey hoped for, they succumbed to hunger and ate a poor guy. Airell realised they could satiate their hunger with magic and so they became the ravenous djinn eater. Yeah. No, scratch all that. As much as I liked the concept, as a creator I wanted Airell to be likable, and let's be honest. eating people is not really the way to go, is it? Yeah......soooo then i decided to make them suck magic out of people (without killing them). Djinn eater became Deldrimor's Banshee, then I changed the name to Deldrimor's Siren, since I really liked that scary Fear Not This Night version.
As my friend and I lost touch, I held onto Airell and Ewyn for some time and then ditched it for my own sanity. I really liked the name Thorns and Roses though so I made my own gay rose mender - Achilles Flameshaper, who after losing his healing abilities became a therapist on a remote island for people who needed refuge (Whale Tail Island, or as I like to call it - Therapy Island).
The idea was that after Airell reawakened in the heart of Maguuma after the events of HoT concluded and after they learned of Trahearne's unfortunate fate, they mourned and succumbed to the magic hunger and was looking for the source of that big magic signature (cough balthazar cough), in their vinetooth form (pic below) they met Achilles and Eyris heading to the Commander's wedding. Achilles was just giving her a ride. Achilles and Eyris fought the lost mordrem in order to secure the area. Airell gets hurt, detransforms, oh no it's airell! oh no what do we do! Achilles takes Airell to the Island because clearly Airell is both physically and mentally hurting. While that part remains canon for Airell until today, their big romance with Achilles did not bloom as I planned. but you know what started vibing with me? TRAMMANDER. Because I decided to make Airell the commander from PS until the start of HoT and then reassign the commander-ship to them somewhere in the middle of PoF (thanks Nia Furaha for holding the line from HoT to PoF!). And if Trammander is canon.... then we're back to Trahearne angst. and guys, I needed to rework that too, so...
I added the whole Trahearne resurrection (ritual goes wrong! not clickbait!) idea! I am still SOOO vibing with it pls ask me questions about this im vibrating!!!!!!!
The Ewyn plot in PoF/LWs4 is CRAZY and I would need a separate post for that but I dont have time for that. Instead, let me tell you a fun fact - Airell died 1.5 times. 1 - stabbed during HoT and put in a blighting pod, and 0.5 in LWs4 when they got swallowed by Kralk and everyone thought they died but then kralk threw them up (sorry Airell).
NIA FURAHA
Nia was fun. A nice human commander, initially she was supposed to take the role of a commander after me and my friend stopped talking, but with time i decided to pass that role in majority to Airell.
Initially, Nia had a backstory. Which accidentally came out racist, so I won't be talking much about it. What I can talk about comfortably are her vigil years.
OG Nia joined the Vigil to protect people. She became a commander through recommendation and battle prowess. She was proud to be the commander, the hero of Tyria. But then I was replaying LWs2 and had thoughts. I thought what if Nia joined the Vigil to escape Anise's clutches. What if they wanted to get Nia into Shining Blade and she didn't want that? I had that storyline for some time but I don;'t like the person this makes Nia. She would not survive the dragon war with that motivation. So...I'm reworking her again when it comes to her role as a Pact soldier and Part-Time Commander.
Freya Wyldwolf
Freya has a long story. She started off as Freya Riverblade. Which is funny because I played hammer on her. Reasons? It was her father's hammer. Her father "left for a hunt and never came back" (as in he "died or something". again). Her mother was bitter, tried to get her life back together but with a wrong person and freya got a half sister. Her mother hated that child because we need that plot (insert eyeroll here pls) and Freya got her motivation to join the Vigil (previously she was a Whispers agent but only because I liked Tybalt ok).
But scratch all that. Freya now has a twin, her name is Wyldwolf, and her half sister was not neglected. Her mother was not the mother of the year but she tried. Freya comes from a long line of OG Wolf followers, so theres always "wolf" in the second name of her family. She is from Cragstead and is besties with Braham.
Also in IBS she killed a corrupted Spirit of the Forest (cough reworked boneskinner cough) and her name changed to Freya Spiritkiller, she did not take it well and is currently MIA.
....
There's also Yvrell but I'm not vibing with it right now also this post is super long and i've been typing it for hours so.
Yeah.
Thanks for reading, Bye. Or something. Love you.

My trip to Orre wasn’t very fruitful , The researchers who examined my Castform Nimbus we’re perplexed by the shadow storm phenomenon their able to generate and their “Shadow” form. Based on observations they’ve made of the newly manifesting “Wailing Castform” they don’t believe what is happening to Nimbus and what produced the shadow variant Castform are the same I am inclined to agree with them. In the end nimbus was brought to the purification chamber in Pokemon HQ lab … The process had no noticeable effect, and I had to replace the machine .
We’re on our way home

I hope you're enjoying your trip to Alola so far Professor ^^ sending this ask just for a bit of advice. I ended up being sent one of those damn team calm eggs after their leader(I think she's the leader?) took offense to something I said, and somehow miraculously finished the "finishing touches" on their clamperl line. I don't exactly know if the vets or centers here in Orre would be used to a pokemon like this. Do you think I should take it to the center for a check-up, or should I see if I could send it out of region to someone to do a health test? I'm sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, I'm just. Really on edge about all this, y'know?? And I know you're an expert on altered n artificial pokemon n stuff so- anyways, thanks for answering sorry for botherin ya prof enjoy Alola - @skrub-dubs
Hello. No need to apologize, you are not bothering me, especially when it comes to your Pokemon's health. I would take it to a local Pokemon Center, and ask them whether you should send it out of region. A Pokemon Center can run plenty of health tests, and they would be able to tell you if it is beyond their level of expertise. The health of UD Pokemon can vary greatly. It may need more specialty care, or a Pokemon Center may be able to provide adequate care. At any rate, it never hurts to take it to a Pokemon Center and ask what they suggest. Hope this helps, and I am wishing you and your Clamperl the best!

—it's been a long while since i last notated Jasmine's "legendary/mythical" encounters, but mostly*-chronologically:
She witnessed Kyogre as a toddler while at sea, but wouldn't know what it was until years and years later.
Upon reaching Sinnoh, Jasmine became locked in Darkrai's nightmare, the very same Darkrai she would come to encounter when traveling back in time to Hisui, one that holds a grudge apparently — in turn, she (in both instances) became familiar with Cresselia.
Tapu Fini reluctantly rescued Jasmine from drowning off the coast of Exeggutor Island.
Jasmine befriended Lunala (in her human guise) while living on Poni Island, where she stayed with her father for a number of years.
Shortly after arriving in Johto and within those first few weeks of adjusting, Jasmine ran into Raikou on Route 38. She'd run into them again years later, a few months after her return from Galar.
Lugia made their presence known quickly to her, and the bond has been built since—by far, the closest she is with any species considered "legendary" outside of her team.
Jasmine met Ho-Oh in Olivine, while he assumed human form to attend an end-of-summer festival.
A Registeel washed up on the beaches of Olivine once, which caused a whole moment (Jasmine's isn't as aware of the others in the trio, not outside of articles and storybooks).
Jasmine encountered Miteijuu-ni, Celebi's primordial "mirrored" form, as a teen; it wouldn't be the last time.
Speaking of Celebi, Jasmine doesn't encounter them in Ilex until a trip there with James. She would first come face-to-face with Celebi while in Orre's Relic Forest, after rescuing an infant Lugia from Neo-Cipher's shadowfication process in Citadark.
During the aforementioned trip with James through Johto's outskirts, the two also encounter both Suicune and Entei.
She was once visited atop the Glitter Lighthouse by Jirachi.
There's been a sighting or two of Articuno during her trips to Seafoam Islands, though she's never gotten a good view of them.
Jasmine's met both a Zekrom and a Mewtwo through her friend, Leaf.
During James' marriage proposal in Malie Gardens, Celesteela makes a timely entrance; Jasmine captured and slowly befriended her.
She has a Melmetal in her arsenal as well, one she received as a Meltan during a visit with her father in Vast Poni Canyon. In her current!verse, they lead a pack of "Ranger-mon" that occupy Alto-Mare's southern coast.
While in Area Zero during her "Crater Arc", Jasmine catches a glimpse of Yvetal.
Since living on Alto-Mare, she's grown a lot closer with both Latias and Latios, though the latter tends to favor her more.
She's also had the opportunity to meet a peculiarly-colored Magearna, who accompanies a local toy maker in Alto.
*there's probably an event or two i am not remembering, but will add in the future--

Ordell!
MY BOYYY THANK YOU
Full name: Ordell Taro
Best friend: Wyatt, Fran
Sexuality: aro-ace
Favourite colour: green
Relationship status: platonically married to Fran, dad to several children
Ideal mate: wants kids and is good with kids, adventurous, energetic, excitable but with some common sense.
Turn-ons: in just vibes, good music, good company, good food, a good sunny day to do some backflips across the town.
Favourite foood: mushrooms
Crushes: n/a
Favourite music: rock & metal
Biggest fear: permanently injuring himself and not being able to do what he loves as well or at all anymore, like Wyatt did with his knee.
Biggest fantasy: to live a mobile life with his family, coming and going. It's not realistic but they DO go on van life road trips, which is the next best thing
Bad habits: conflict avoidance, not speaking up for himself much when he's alone, or for many others unless they are his immediate circle, will just listen. Knows this is a problem and struggles with it, but he's trying to do better. Social butterfly to the point of not really showing a lot of people what he actually thinks orr who he is underneath. Forgets the time.
Biggest regret: Related to above, some cases of not speaking up where somebody's gotten hurt or bullied
Best kept secrets: Anything his mom tells him not to tell anyone, or one of his close friends tells him not to tell. You cannot pry those things out of him. Also that time he and Dana had a cousins' night out. Nobody will ever know what happened.
Last thoughts: (this still weirds me out, AM I UNDERSTANDING IT WRONG????) Ummmm just like. A jumbled instinct screaming at him to get other people out of the way. (I keep thinking that a drunk driver hits him but he shoves someone else out of the way. :(((()
Worst romantic experience: the ONE time he tried dating in high school because he thought he was supposed to and didn't quite understand what it was supposed to feel like.
Biggest insecurity: Ordell is color blind and self conscious about getting colors wrong - he's not super smart and learns slow and with hard work and that doesn't bother him, but it DOES bother him when he gets colors wrong.
Weapon of choice: hands and feet and really any part of the body that can be used.
Role model: much like Wyatt, Ordell sees his moms as his biggest role models. They've both been through a lot and persevered.

[May attaches an image of a wooden crate full of newborn Zigzagoons. Their mother looks rather confused by the tiny babies nuzzling against her side.]
<Ziggsathustra> Momma Linoone gave birth. I think this qmight be her first litter. She's healthy so she'll probably figure it out as she goes.
<Ziggsathustra> She's got a home at my dad's gym in Petalburg if she decides to stick around. Been feeding her ever since she showed up.
<Ziggsathustra> Now onto the drugs...
<Ziggsathustra> Most of them are legally available if you know where to find them. The first formula's a combination of stimulants derived from Scovillain's infamous extract. Likely meant to condition their brains for aggression whenever their handler gives them certain cues like an even more fucked up version of Pavlov's Houndours.
<Ziggsathustra> Second's the one that'll make them trip with a dosage of ethanogenic alkaloids and what we think are Shellder toxins. You know more about psychedelics than I am. Imagine tripping on datura while in a terrifying lab. Whatever fucked up shit they're seeing can't be good.
<Ziggsathustra> The third one is where things get bizaare because I have no fucking idea how this one works and it seems neither did anyone in Cipher. It's meant to induce a emotionally disassociative state in Pokemon when applied after the initial months long conditioning procedures.
<Ziggsathustra> It's a headache to make sense of what Ein calls the "Aphotic Conduit" without a sample.
<Ziggsathustra> Whatever the fuck it is, it supposedly originates as an industrial mining byproduct from the region which only makes things even more confusing. What kind of weird ass minerals are they digging out of the ground there? Do I want to know what's under Orre?
<Ziggsathustra> I don't know if this is something inherent to Orre or if Ein's evil rock juice is in neighboring regions. Ask Vero.
<Ziggsathustra> Much of her work's actually a refinement of the previous head scientist's mostly focused on increasing their resistance to purification.
<Ziggsathustra> From what I could tell, the entire process tends to take anywhere from four to six months. She tends to start off the trauma conga line by injecting the Pokemon with a mildly psychoactive that renders them suggestible followed by an introduction to painful stimuli.
<Ziggsathustra> To sum up a whole fucked up "study" of her's... Those Pokemon were tortured for months on end before being moved onto the next phase. Their handlers were encouraged bond with them just enough to make the knife sink deeper when their buddy inevitably betrayed them because some sick rich bitch with daddy issues thought this was a good idea.
<Ziggsathustra> They were also tripping balls much of the time while she's cycling between three drug cocktails. I'd rather not think about the kind of hallucinations her victims would be having so I'll have Metagross send you the details later.
<Ziggsathustra> The next part's weirder. Much weirder. Give me a couple hours because I need a Zigzagoon or fourty.
<Ziggsathustra> And a drink even if no amount of liquor's enough to forget what I read. Metagross's summarize version alone's gonna be fucking up my sleep for the next few weeks.

VENT!!!!! But would need advice greatly..
I have been thinking about running away (again long story) and just leaving it all behind because it’s this or I feel like I’m going to go back to dreaming about sleeping in a coffin.
I have been doing research (what to pack, how to stay safe as someone afab, etc) bc I have irrevocably messed up my life by inaction (me feeling utterly depressed and maybe some autistism if I am even allowed to say those words and not feel guilty by not having a diagnosis) so instead of fessing up and maybe (most likely) being hit by my parents again, have them shame guilt trip me and demean every bone in my body, and having permanently broken what little of a normal parent child relationship we still have. I rather would just leave even if that met I could never return (re running away once before, those words stuck on to me like glue and I still feel their weight and the threat)
But I don’t want to do that and leave my sister as I love my sister more than life itself (really I would have offed myself if it weren’t for her) but I can’t stay here. I have no dreams and when I do all I can do is dream I can never bring myself to do anything anymore (as if I ever could). So I’m hoping that if I leave, if I remove what I currently am and transform myself through blood sweat and dirt into who I actually am (Orr should/want to be), I can gain it back??
I am terrified to stay but I am equally terrified to go. To give up a comfortable life with a roof over my head and a bed with my stuffed animals I still sleep with even though I am an adult now. I am so so scared and tired and scared and want to go but also am scared to leave. What do i do? I can’t tell my parents I have no trusted adults that won’t tell them and I don’t want to burden my friends or sister? I am so so so so so scared about everything.
