I noticed something about the Eah into and I don’t think anyone has talked about it yet?

First the old intro: The background is made to like an book (for obvious reasons) with old writing and yellow/brown color crumble old paper

Now the “new” intro: the background in this one is more clean, with no writing and new white paper. Lines to to be written on like an notebook!

Again like this:

Notice how this first intro is when the plot was about royals and rebels? Or when the rebels was fighting to be able to choose they own destiny? And the second is when it’s all over and the book is destroyed? A lot of people don’t like the new one because it more simple but I think there’s a meaning to it

The first is meant to symbolize that they story is already written, it’s done it’s set in stone (in paper?) much like all the adults around them is saying as well as the female narrative. As soon as raven has disproven that and destroyed the book that Binges them to it the intro changes. It’s now new and unwritten pages, showing that there’s room for them to write they own story, that they don’t have to follow the old but to write something new for themselves. Idk just a small analyzation

I know that in this fandom we literally take all the crumbs we can get in terms of fanart and the fact we finally got official art in Games Untold is amazing but I'm not sorry to say that I'm actually disappointed. The only decent character picture was the first one with Avery and Jameson and I'm not saying that because they're my faves but because you actually SEE them. The other three pictures that actually display the characters are literally all BACK views. WHY????

That literally doesn't add anything to them. Like, props to the illustrator, they're great drawings but I don't get why we got no front facing pics. Also, I think that the pictures with the light house and the Christmas tree were a waste of effort when something else could have been drawn. They felt generic just because of what the story had to do with.

I'm only criticizing this so much because JLB told us there would be art in the book and so what I thought we'd be given ended up being like a cutting room floor edition. It's like the characters will always just be voids with only glimpses of what they look like and never the full profile. The only upside was Jameson's hair looking like it should but our girl Avery just being hidden by her own is sad.

Like, the only character who has an actual FACE is Jameson. That feels absurd. And I mean, just because he had a glow up after that card disappointment, I guess I just have to accept Fairyloot's inside cover art as the official stuff.

Purgatory

Where every monster but Angels and Demons go when they die. That's millions of souls. It's an infinite landscape. There's constant fighting between and within species here. It's kill or be killed. And when you die here, you don't just respawn. You're permanently dead (or at least from what I can tell). This means that any monsters from 100 years ago are not around or there are very few of them.

Why am I talking about this?

Well, when Dean and Cas were in Purgatory, the Leviathans were the only ones after Cas.

Yes, they pretty much wanted revenge for getting sent back and the fact that Cas is practically a spotlight. But, why didn't any other monster go after him? Did the Leviathans essentially call dibs because they're older and more powerful? Is it because Cas is an angel?

See, one thing that I would like to believe is that the monsters that reside in the area of Purgatory that Dean and Cas are in are monsters that Sam and Dean have killed over the last like decade. So, the more recent deceased monsters know by now not to go after Cas purely because Dean will be sure to go after them. They instead decide to just go after Dean and deal with angry Dean and not super angry Dean.

Benny is the only smart one there. He decides to actually help Dean find Cas in exchange for getting out, which is a pretty fair deal.

So, Cas takes the Leviathans and Dean takes the monsters. They split Purgatory up. Literally. And the only thing Dean had on his mind was finding Cas, while the only thing on Cas' mind was keeping the Leviathans away from Dean.

My point is, the monsters of Purgatory knew to stay away from Cas. Whether this is because of the Leviathans or because of Dean. 98% of me is saying Dean.

It's not a bad thing at all, but I knew I was ace way before it happened. Back then, even less people understood.

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. no but really, I think it fits him really well! I had thought his UM would probably involve something kinda sleight-of-handy or pickpockety! and I looooved that it made such a nice loop-around back to episode 1. ❤️ I was. kind of half-expecting him to just run out and punch Riddle in the nose again. but instead this time 'twas he who offed the queen's head! it was great! and he did it while stone-cold terrified out of his mind! because Ace is the only remotely normal or well-adjusted person at NRC and therefore the only one who is like "we're going to literally die, this is super effed up". but he did it anyway!!!!
