Any thoughts on BSD winning anime of the year?

good for us ig but compared to jjk s2 and aot finale i'm literally shocked and quite frankly feel it was undeserved. mappa worked their ass off this entire year w csm and jjk s2 not to mention the last two episodes of aot and either of those deserved the number one spot over bsd 100%.................this has nothing to do with my personal vendetta against studio bones btw i just feel like mappa solos in every way w their animation and art style and esp their anime adaptations (more than i can say abt bones)

"How could she screw over Kendall and stop them from keeping the company???" oh you mean the guy who promised they'd run it together and then immediately double crossed her? The Sleeping Realm Theory’s 4th Anniversary!!

Hey everyone, I don’t think i’ve ever made a formal post here (on I guess my art account??) about the good ol Sleepy Boy Theory. I figured I might as well with the anniversary but as of today, it’s 4 years old! Where DOES the time go?

A lot has happened since this bad boy (several releases for one and a global pandemic for two), and as the official keeper of the crypt I’d like to thank everyone who has shared their Love and even their Great Distaste for it over the years. It’s wild to think it still lives on as such a footnote in this series’ history that I still saw people seething about it just last week.

It’s been discussed around the world as well as translated into more than one language! It’s a global reach I’ll never fully grasp, a talking point for people I’ll never meet, and it’s something that I’m immensely proud of!

To this day we’ve made points and discussed findings I still don’t see anybody ever talk about, like the kbg world logo or the location of Kairi’s heart. And if that sounds new to you, may I recommend checking it out once more and peeping those cool updates

oh friend. oh pal. you can get it on CBS or Paramount+ (which is where i watch it, being in the US) but i’m sure you could find it somewhere online.

if you’re watching only for kate/lucy there’s good compilations online (that i can’t link because i’m on my phone and refuse to go across the room…) that give a good overview of their journey.

BUT i do have to put it out there that this show is incredible and the whole team deserves more love. a badass female-led team of agents with a very big family vibe? a leader who supports them wholeheartedly? a team that goes to hell and back for her? young agents finding their footing? vets leading instead of commandeering? a weirdo tech guy with a heart of gold? a new guy who is just the sweetest homegrown boy? a mean girl who becomes part of the family? you’ll find all of this and more in this show.

kacy is amazing, their journey is great, they both grow so so much. but their story is totally enhanced by everything else going on around them and you’d be missing out if you didn’t give the others a shot. i just finished a s1 and s2 rewatch myself. don’t regret a minute.

Made a post a bit back asking people’s opinions on what tarot card fit Wee John the best, got a few good suggestions but wound up going with something else (even over my initial frustrated joke of making up a new card for fire or smth). rough around the edges, feeling the stony rough exterior you know has been smoothed down. you feel like thats how it used to be. soft, and smooth to the touch. but now its been smoothed over. as if abrasions happened to the rock. enoughto make it sharp around the edges, where one hurts others if they are pricked by the roughness. thats why in some places its smoothed over a bit more.
