In your Gravity Falls witch hat atelier au what Magic does Stan specialise in and is his hat a Fez?

Stan is a jack of all trades sort of witch! He’s pretty mediocre with all magic except 1. Window and vehicle magic. The Journals and the Portal still exist here. Just except to an alternate dimension it’s to a forest of mazes where Bill and his henchman reside in. The maze is impossible to get out of which is why Stan’s been needing to find the journals to complete the magic window that took away his brother in the first place. His hat is not a fez! His hat is still a witch’s cap but designed like it. It’s a deep maroon red with a long black tassel. A piece of fabric is along the bottom of the hat that comes to a point. Where a golden embroidery of his zodiac symbol lays the fish that’s eating a dot. This hat is a similar design to Mabel and Dippers hat which shows they’re his apprentices. But when ever the Knights aren’t around they are HIS kids and he will call them kids god dam it.

So, this idea has been bouncing around in my brain for a bit. Ever since my mom was like, "You need to think before you send a text when you're mad," to my dad, and I was tired so I didn't think before I said, "No beta we die like men." And my poor parents were so confused.

Anyways, imagine a witch (for some reason) curses you to speak in the slang you've been exposed to the most.... but you mostly read fanfiction and no one else in your family does.

Witch: Ha! You can now only speak in the slang you've been exposed to the most!

OP's Sibling: Ok, boomer.

OP: I wish you all the hurt no comfort.... *realizes they're speaking fanfiction slang*... You A+ parent.

So finally listening to ep 32, and the Fireside, I actually am so interested in Mirara as a character. Second youngest in the Conclave, true believer, lonely with a social creature as her familiar being put on blast for having maybe one spirit shes intimate with.

It makes me really look at her costuming. All the witches represent a certain aspect of folkloric takes on witches, but Mirara is the one who chooses to be fully masked and cloaked in her presentation (more parallels with Suvi as she dressed for dinner or beginning of Act 2). Literally has put a barrier between herself and the world, and literally making it harder to understand her or see her as a human woman.

Being real this all does change how I hc she actually looks under all the presentation. Like I think shes using magic to create this bigger and creepier costuming.
