Over 3,000 steps, 1 mile slow run to ease back into training, 4+ miles of walking...this dinner was earned! Crockpot fiesta chicken & onions with shredded triple cheddar blend on a whole wheat tortilla, mixed greens and blue corn chips with a side of medium salsa and organic black refried beans (1.7F & 7P! Hi I use the Polar FT4. I know you weren't interested much in that brand but I love it! It's a watch normally and while you are working out you can arrow down and put it on a page that shows the duration of your workout as well as the time; you can arrow up and down throughout your workout to monitor heart rate and cals burned. Hope this was helpful!
Thank you! Your response is helpful :) the bottom line is that I need a device that works I’ve heard so many good reviews on the Polar brand so if I don’t find a tracker that’s less of a watch and still functions properly ill most likely be getting a Polar brand fitness tracker! Thanks again!!! 😘

What is your adventure jar?!
Because my adventures don't tend to be very specific, I've labeled it my "adventure jar." It's extra money I didn't spend during the week that I'm putting towards something fun in the future. However, I want to do something fun this summer (like go to Vegas, San Diego, or the beach) so right now it's my funds for a summer adventure. :) I'm hoping my friends and I go to Vegas!

Easing my way back into the fitness grind with a couple of long walks, yoga flows and foam rolling sessions. Planned to go to yoga with a friend tonight but we weren't feeling it. Ended up doing some (window) shopping so I logged some good steps then finished by walking around my house continually until I hit my 10,000 😂. Followed that with an upper body workout (push ups, dolphins, bench press, tricep overhead press, lat raise, front raise, tricep kickbacks, bicep curls and shoulder press) and a mini core workout (planks, v ups, scissors, Russian twists & mountain climbers). Feeling good!

Obsessively loving my life this week. Skipped yoga today so I'm walking around my house in order to get my steps with my new FITBIT before doing an upper body workout. Hubs is at worship team rehearsal, I've already eaten and there's nothing new on Netflix - zero excuses today.

Leg...Day...
Holy wow. I am dying in the best way possible. Today’s lower body workout included: narrow squat w/ kick back, narrow squat w/ lat kick, regular squat, sumo squat, regular squat weighted, calf raises, inverted calf raises, donkey kicks, glute bridge and single leg dumbbell Romanian lifts.... followed by a yoga flow to ensure that I properly stretched. My entire body was shaking for nearly 10 minutes after but made a protein smoothie (1/2 banana, kale, OJ & vanilla protein) and cooked dinner. 
Speaking of dinner LET ME TELL YOU how amazing it is. Skinny Fettucini from gimmesomeoven.com > I used 1/3: spinach linguine, regular linguine & whole wheat linguine which is an amazing combo, swapped 1% milk for fat free (I’m not into milk anymore but figured I would just go the lowest fat since that’s normally what I overeat) and baked chicken, asparagus and snow peas to add in. So great. Can’t wait to devour it today and tomorrow and the next day.... nom.

First 5K (plus a little) since my injury .... Rough time but still better per mile than I anticipated. This is 1/3 the distance of my 15K race which is exactly 21 days from today! Even if I have to walk some during the race, I WILL finish and I WILL earn my chocolate bar medal 😍
