Just because there's no Poetry Smash week this year won't stop me from drawing some Poetry Smash !

It's been quite rainy here lately, so of course, they are spending a rainy day the best way they know.

Also cold colors are both very fun and the worst thing on Earth. Agh.

you figured that when you and Bakugou brought those at-home Halloween decorations, that he and you guys’ daughter would do it without problems. figured he’d help her when she needed it, to color in the lines, to get her clean water for her paint brushes, to wipe her hands when she dirtied them too much.

what you didn’t expect, was for there to be so much bickering. not between you and him, but him and your daughter.

“I told you to paint right here!” your daughter yells at him, angry little face pinched in frustration as she huffs. crossing her arms and glaring at him, at a mirror of herself. Bakugou meets her with that same expression; eyebrows drawn down, bottom lip slightly pouted, red sprouting on the high points of their cheeks.

“But you already painted there with your crappy puke green!” he yells back at her, pointing an accusatory paintbrush in her direction. you can only shake your head at them, minding your own business as you paint your little corner that your daughter has delegated to you.

“Because I didn’t want you to forget since you’re so old.” your daughter teases, even dares to stick her tongue out at him. Bakugou scoffs in indignation.

“Old?!” he damn near screeches. your daughter screams to the tops of her lungs when he rips her from her chair (gently, you smile to yourself, watch his quiet hesitation when he puts her in his arms too fast). “Who are ya calling old, you stinky little brat?”

he dangles her upside down, puffing his chest in satisfaction when she screams and giggles and calls to you for help. but you pretend like you can’t get her every time Bakugou pulls her back to his body. her smile is huge, her laughter infectious, so much so that even her dad has to hide his smile when she points up at him, yelling,

“Old man, old man! Ugly old man!” she absolutely squeals when Bakugou only roars at her, the both of them going at it while you continue to paint. when they finally decide to finish, you only hope he’s worn her out enough that she forgets all about trick or treating.

(she doesn’t—if anything, she doubles down and demands that Bakugou wear a crown similar to hers, even though his outfit doesn’t need it. he wears it anyway, proudly, with his little brat perched on his shoulder. you tell him she’s three now, that she doesn’t need to be picked up. but as he carries her slumped over form, asleep from the crash of a sugar rush, he cradles her even closer to his chest. he thinks that she’ll never be too old.)

there have been streams where tango and etho have chatted redstone and game development and that's been so so good and so fun to listen to, the way their minds work together and they push and pull with ideas and curiosity.

but then there's the stream today that's like, a first...(other than the little bit of figuring out stat poker and the non-redstone planning of the gaming district in season 7)...where they're completely collaborating on this redstone project together, from scratch. like it's the both of them creating one thing, forming it together as they go, and they just work so well together. aaand have fun!

idk I just love the way they vibe and problem solve together so much. just a great pairing and great equals. it's amazing it's taken till now for a full redstone collaboration like this to properly happen, but I'm so glad it's here now.

Hey what if Benefactor/ancient titles worked like profile badges, where you can stamp down all your proudest achievements for display. Like their titles were configurable, and you could mix'n'match various achievements and awards and other Impressive Traits to your personal liking.

This is entirely based on that one pearl describing a Benefactor who donated their memories, and how they had such titles as "local champion of speaking tournament 1511.090" and "Artist, Warrior, and Fashion Legend". Just try and convince me those weren't self-assigned.

I know, and I know it Will get better. It just feels soooo repetitive right now :// sigh. I dunno. All I really know is that I'm looking forward to the day things change. I dunno when that will be, but things Will change. And if it takes until I'm an adult, then so be it. It's only 3 years, really; and these past 15 have absolutely flown by.

Had. An extremely funny vision to revamp Moe's staff.

The design isn't super final, I can never really decide how I want the accents to look... trying to keep them in line with how the Askr trio's weapons look. Especially the signature color magic glow that's present in their special arts!!!

Anna has it too!!!!! You just don't see it bc her art gets cut off in game. Also, additional image bc you don't see the handle v well in her special.

Which is why, here, the green gem is most prominent on Moe's weapon.... geen....... idk if I'm keeping the other ones that look like the summoning circle orbs. It was just something I wanted to try out!

BUT. BUT. The Main Idea here is that Moe added its own touch to the staff. Yeah, the dangly halo was a Neat idea, but this concept is just so much funnier to me..... says SO much about Moe as a character... it is ALWAYS. Making and customizing things. I can also see Moe using the carabiner practically as well! Now, I wonder why it held onto those two feathers in particular... 🤔

spent all day playing 1.6 & are just accepting some things will be a mystery until the wiki is updated lol the wiki mods deserve awards they rly carry our unknowing asses like no other

I think they like to play card games sometimes. Often they drag in others to supsrvise for cheating. (it won't stop them from cheating but it means they've gotta work harder to be sneaky about it and that just adds to the fun!) Cheated has a score-count for everybody. for every different game they play. him vs opportunist. him vs cold. the whole group playing. contrarian is often banned for bringing other card games to the table. he also never gets to supervise despite often asking to. Hero volunteers to supervise a lot but often doesn't catch the cheating so he's denied the role. Cheated, skeptic, opportunist and cold are the best. Broken is also surprisingly good sometimes. Even when he has the best hand he worries he'll screw it up somehow, and his downer attitude tends to convince the others he's gonna lose too. erm thats all i think

i just know these two have the potential to end up breaking into a fight over their silly card games. After cold left and the two eventually got tired of their games and went their separate ways opportunist stuck his leg out so cheated could trip over. they push each other down the stairs, maybe.

Witch Cottage Build - MiniaTuria & Cocricot

Those of you in the Midwest may recognise this style of building! This is a Chicago worker's cottage. I think the shape and style of them translate really well to Minecraft. Simple, narrow, gable-roofed. The Miniatura mod update added a lot of new greenery and plants, so I tried to use as much as I could on the inside. Some would say too much.

It can be a hard to make brick work because it looks a little busy in game, but green makes for good contrast. I derive most of my fun from the decorating, but I also like inventing little lives and histories for the building and whoever lives there. It's not just a workers cottage, that staircase is bone white and brand new, so it's a refurbished workers cottage.

The upstairs here is pretty simple. Part of the problem with inverted stair blocks and those fairy lights is that you can't really decorate around them. Still, I think this looks cute. If we go back downstairs...

That grate leads to the basement!

I've deceived you all. Maybe I'll learn something about the Chicago fire, you thought. Maybe she'll go into the building materials and the interesting history. No. It was a witch's cottage the whole time.

spent most of the day doing some stuff with my beads because i haven't Made things in a while and i love making funky earrings so !! i am Trying to learn actual beading patterns instead of just using them as accents and i think it turned out pretty good for first attempts :D

I kept on talking about it, now I finally did it: put together a few outfits for Emi to wear outside the school uniform - once she has the reason to start filling out her wardrobe in Twisted Wonderland, at least.

Ngl, these pull heavily from what I wore at that point in life, with a dash of wish-fulfillment for extra pizzazz.

First of, the casual - when she doesn't feel like dressing up and is just throwing something on:

Add an extra hoodie or something for colder weather.

Also works with a dramatic blouse with some flowy sleeves (think Morticia Addams).

(There's also a variant of these two known as the "the boyf's not here and I miss him" with one of Jamil's hoodies, probably the one with the flames that he wears with his school uniform. Particularly prevalent during Emi's third year, when Jamil’s away doing his internships.)

Also like... feel free to throw in spiked wrist bands and belts and things in there, they're definitely part of the assortment, too.

And like, not to say these are the only things Emi has (there's definitely more of like, basics in her wardrobe too, and cozy oversized things to get wrapped up in), but I feel like these gets the general vibes across, especially for the more standout things she likes to wear.

So yeah, it's like... You can often hear Emi coming just from the clatter of chains, especially when she's taking a seat, lol.
