Alternator replacement should be performed on a Honda Accord.
When we were checking the charging system, the alternator failed the load test.
You may have a bad alternator if the electronics in your vehicle aren’t working right or you see the battery light turn on.

How to Identify a Bad Flexible Clutch Hose
In cars with a hydraulic clutch, the flexible clutch hose is a major component of the system. Any time you press the clutch pedal of your car, the job of the flexible clutch hose is to deliver the necessary hydraulic liquid and pressure.
However, while depressing the clutch pedal or while shifting gears, if you hear noises, or find that the clutch is not springing back up, it could indicate a problem with the flexible clutch hose.
Some examples of car models that have a flexible clutch hose include:
Honda CR-V
2009 GMC Sierra 1500
2009 Volvo S40
2011 Saab 9-4X
2006 Mini Cooper
2011 Mercedes-Benz ML550
2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG
2011 Audi S5
2008 Chevrolet Aveo
It is important to note that the issue could be caused by problems with other components of the transmission system. Instead of second guessing the issue, or simply ignoring it, having your car checked up by a trained mechanic could help you avoid potential damage or a breakdown in the future.

Here are 4 Indications of a Bad Flexible Clutch Hose
The clutch hose is responsible for sending the hydraulic fluid and pressure to the clutch system whenever the clutch pedal is depressed.
The big advantage of a flexible clutch hose is that it can move in different directions. While most clutch hoses are designed to withstand the pressures of routine wear and tear, over time they do wear out and lead to problems. Here are 4 signs your clutch hose needs to be checked:
Insufficient Transfer of Pressure and Hydraulic Fluid
You will notice that if all is well, any time you press the clutch pedal, it offers firm resistance and operates smoothly. A bad flexible clutch hose will offer little or no resistance.
If there is a leak in the clutch hose, it could disrupt the transfer of fluid and pressure to the clutch system.
A large enough leak or loss of fluid could easily impact the transfer of the required amount of pressure and hydraulic liquid to the clutch systems.
Problem with Shifting Gears
Difficulty in shifting gears is one of the first possible indications that you have a bad flexible clutch hose. Two indicators of a compromised or leaking flexible clutch hose:
One, is that it will not be able to transfer the clutch fluid, leading to difficulties in shifting gears. This means you will have trouble going forward or backward.
Two, it could also lead to the transmission grinding any time you try to shift gears.
The Clutch Pedal is Stuck to the Floor
Another important indication that the flexible clutch hose is unable to transfer the required fluid and pressure to the clutch system is when the following happens:
Your clutch pedal is unable to spring back up.
Low fluid in the master/slave cylinder could be a potential factor for this to happen.

Just saw an svsss fic tagged “kiss kiss fall in love” and now I can’t stop thinking of an svsss ouran high au where Luo Binghe put together a host club made of Yue Qingyuan, Liu Qingge, Mobei-Jun, Shang Qinghua, Tianlang-jun, Zhuzhi-lang, and honor student, Shen Yuan (who’s older brother, Shen Jiu, might murder the lot of them), who stumbled into music room 3 one day and is now their errand boy that Luo Binghe is obsessed with.

fun fact: (spearmaster) moon’s system failures don’t happen when the player isn’t there, (aka on safari). This is probably just code, but it’s cute to think she isn’t afraid to let ‘em happen with someone in the room.
there are no iterator collapses in ba sing safari mode
#i know that no system failure event also means no danger symbols but I needed something to replace the fire lol#the alternative was rumbling - falling debris - or literal fire - but I didn't like how any of those came out#rain world#flickerdoodles#art#anon#ask#rw spoilers#dp spoilers

I guess that if you haven't ever read or watched something that criticizes capitalism or imperialism, even the most basic criticism shocks you.
#cosas mias#I mean I was like 17 or 18 when I started to learn about left-wing ideas as in real alternatives to capitalism#and everything was new and exciting#you felt that TV shows and videogames that showed a little revolutionary themes were actually revolutionary#and they are fun sometimes I'm not saying you can't enjoy them you should I enjoy them too#but they're not a replacement for actual theory and activism

okay real thoughts, i think i have the very unpopular opinion of really enjoying the original revenge production/mix for various reasons- from the way it drives a real sense of immediacy which was a byproduct of compression/loudness even as it ruined 2000s production, all the way to these really inventive flourishes that made revenge totally stand out compared to its peers, like the way the split channels could build movement and space in a compressed medium all the way to these fascinating pieces of extreme polish which actually warped back around into interesting noise/texture (like the squeak at the end of give em hell! or the breaths. the weird moments of reverb or echo). i also like the aspcts people consider "muddy" because actually its just a play between clarity and the "din" of the instrumentals, a lot of parts sort of emerge out of the chaos and then retreat back, i find it mostly cool. its a cool record! and i'm happy to have the remix, if only to clarify my own thoughts and to see what the band/current production team thought was lost or viewed as important. but at the end of the day that tension between what was possible and what was industry standard which is so quintessentially revenge (itself such a quintessentially 2004 record lol) gets a little lost idk
#i feel about it the way i feel about the replacements tim ed stasium mix LOL#which is to say it breaths new life into a few tracks i think were short-changed by the original style BUT for the most part#the emotional core of the original mix. which was polished with Intention. weakens others (especially songs i already really loved)#but also i love the ed stasium mix bc i love the replacements and i loe alternate versions and i think this rules i am having a fucking ball#my posts

The greatest cure to imposter syndrome is having to interact with a coworker who is even worse at everything but definitely gets paid more.
The only problem is then you replace imposter syndrome with becoming some kind of joker.
#he asks for some help with some (fairly basic but totally understandable if its his first time doing this specific thing) code#i read it over and give him a list of like 4 potential issues#then go oh wait actually point 3 might work fine#and he's like 'so is there anything i need to fix' .... yeah... yeah man#the other 3 things man...#then i point him to an example i gave him a few days ago and i have a dreadful feeling he's going to copy the if condition from that exampl#instead of just replacing one function call I said had a less redundant alternative.... when his if logic is the one bit that's correct#mercifully I can 'bill' all this as productive time but. but.#sorry im just complaining heeh ee

jenndoesnotcare replied to this post:
Every time LDS kids come to my neighborhood I am so so nice to them. I hope they remember the blue haired lady who was kind, when people try to convince them the outside world is bad and scary. (Also they are always so young! I want to feed them cookies and give them Diana Wynne Jones books or something)
Thank you! Honestly, this sort of kindness can go a really long way, even if it doesn't seem like it at the time.
LDS children and missionaries (and the majority of the latter are barely of age) are often the people who interact the most with non-Mormons on a daily basis, and thus are kind of the "face" of the Church to non-Mormons a lot of the time. As a result, they're frequently the ones who actually experience the brunt of antagonism towards the Church, which only reinforces the distrust they've already been taught to feel towards the rest of the world.
It's not that the Church doesn't deserve this antagonism, but a lot of people seem to take this enormous pride in showing up Mormon teenagers who have spent most of their lives under intense social pressure, instruction, expectation, and close observation from both their peers and from older authorities in the Church (it largely operates on seniority, so young unmarried people in particular tend to have very little power within its hierarchies). Being "owned" for clout by non-Mormons doesn't prove anything to most of them except that their leaders and parents are right and they can't trust people outside the Church.
The fact that the Church usually does provide a tightly-knit community, a distinct and familiar culture, and a well-developed infrastructure for supporting its members' needs as long as they do [xyz] means that there can be very concrete benefits to staying in the Church, staying closeted, whatever. So if, additionally, a Mormon kid has every reason to think that nobody outside the Church is going to extend compassion or kindness towards them, that the rest of the world really is as hostile and dangerous as they've been told, the stakes for leaving are all the higher, despite the costs of staying.
So people from "outside" who disrupt this narrative of a hostile, threatening world that cannot conceivably understand their experiences or perspectives can be really important. It's important for them to know that there are communities and reliable support systems outside the Church, that leaving the Church does not have to mean being a pariah in every context, that there are concrete resources outside the Church, that compassion and decency in ordinary day-to-day life is not the province of any particular religion or sect and can be found anywhere. This kind of information can be really important evidence for people to have when they are deciding how much they're willing to risk losing.
So yeah, all of this is to say that you're doing a good thing that may well provide a lifeline for very vulnerable people, even if you don't personally see results at the time.
#jenndoesnotcare#respuestas#long post#cw religion#cw mormonism#i've been thinking about how my mother was the compassionate service leader in the church when i was a kid#which in our area was the person assigned to manage collective efforts to assist other members in a crisis#this could mean that someone got really sick or broke their leg or something and needs meals prepared for them for awhile#or it could mean that someone lost their job and they're going to need help#it might mean that someone needs to move and they need more people to move boxes or a piano or something#she was the person who made sure there was a social net for every member in our area no matter what happened or what was needed#there's an obvious way this is good but it also makes it scarier to leave and lose access#especially if there's no clear replacement and everyone is hostile#i was lucky in a lot of ways - my mother was unorthodox and my bio dad and his family were catholic so i always had ties beyond the church#my best friend was (and is) a jewish atheist so i had continual evidence that virtue was not predicated on adherence to dogma#and even so it was hard to withdraw from all participation in church life and doubly so because the obvious alternative spaces#-the lgbt+ ones- seemed obsessed with gatekeeping and viciously hostile towards anyone who didn't fit comfortable narratives#so i didn't feel i could rely on the community at large in any structural sense or that i had any serious alternative to the church#apart from fandom really and only carefully curated spaces back then#and like - random fandom friends who might not live in my country but were obviously not mormon and yet kind and helpful#did more to help me withdraw altogether than gold star lesbians ever did

This might be worth keeping an eye on from a Mercedes perspective...
The All Black's are suing Ineos, Man Utd have made a £300m loss... Ineos own a third of Mercedes and so if the company goes under it could have issues for the team...
#f1#formula 1#mercedes amg f1#Ngl I do wonder if them deciding to let their 50m driver go and replace him with a child for a fraction of the price is connected to this..#Idk how much their shares are worth but I imagine toto/merc may buy them or alternatively Petronas might be interested...

Using 'you hope the ceiling fan falls on them' as a temporary filler to describe 'the POV character is feeling jealousy at the sight of a couple able to Be a couple, unable to identify this as jealousy' until I can decide on a good way to convey that information without outright saying it. Solid chance that I forget to ever replace it and it ends up in whatever final form I post this in, thus canonizing ceiling fans in a setting that is most analogous to the 1st century BCE.
#alternatively I could just replace 'ceiling fan' with a lore friendly ceiling fixture. Kind of liking that idea honestly#Gonna have to add a description of the ceiling fixture in this location early on to set up the joke but I think it will work#Only problem is I don't really have any canonical ceiling fixtures established (besides like. sconces which won't work here) so will#have to establish new home deco lore for the sole purpose of making this joke work
