"Shut it-!" Megatron whispered, nudging his alternate in the side. "I'm sorry, sir. We're streetartists, we're practicing for our act for tomorrow!" He chuckled nervously, trying to cover their identity. Bulkhead didn't seem to care though.

"Have you seen where Megatron went?"

"M... Megatron?"

"I'll call Bee!" Arcee said, opening her comn link. The green mech nodded. "If you'd found his location or destination coordinates, please inform us. It's not something to worry about yet, but sit's not something to ignore either."

"Of course, mr Bulkhead!" The ex warlord tried to pull off the best innocent expression he could. "We'll make sure to inform you!"

After Bulkhead turned to Arcee and continued running with her, Megatron let out an annoyed scowl. "I swear no matter the occasion, those two are always after my aft. Then again, why would they be after my aft in the first place?..." Suddenly, the realization hit him and hit him hard.

"Oh no..."

“No. At least that’s what I’m hoping for…” Megatron murmured under his breath.

“Alright.” He swirled on his heel and pointed the direction. “This way. It shouldn’t be far. Primus, little changed since the last time I was here. Iaconians can’t live without me getting their job done, can th-” Suddenly, the ex warlord heard a giant commotion nearby. Out of instict, he stepped before his alternate, stopping him.

The nearest wall collapsted revealing Bulkhead and Arcee behind it.

“You there!” The green Autobot pointed at the two Megatrons.

His alternate’s casual acceptance of others always relying upon him gave Megatron pause. While he would never shy away from responsibility, especially not while the war raged on, he hoped a time would dawn where others didn’t look to him for guidance. 

Societies build upon a single pillar crumbled once their support was shattered – and Megatron wouldn’t allow Cybertron to suffer in his absence. 

“Ouch!” Deep in thought, he almost missed the warning and walked straight into his alternate. After taking a moment to collect himself, Megatron inclined his helm at both Autobots in greeting. 

“You called?” He spoke up, “There’s nothing to see here. Just two Megatrons strolling through, looking for our alternate, hoping to solve a larger conundrum. We aren’t here seeking trouble, I promise.”
