hello you two!!! i’m gonna be real i’ve been a bit all over the place lately (pjsk brain has put dangan brain on hold surprisingly enough, and also i’m prepping to go back to college next semester lmao), so i don’t have. too many priest au thoughts. but i HAVE been thinking abt some of the other characters who live in the town of jabberwock, illinois! :]

ok first off. i can’t put hajime anywhere without allowing him his soul bro. even i am not that cruel. so yes souda exists here! he is a mechanic, as to be expected, working out of the shop his dad runs. he and hajime meet when hajime spots him working on like…. let’s say a tractor or smth and goes over to help bc he recognizes the model. they’re buddies, they’re tight! souda is chill, but he’s also like. the epitome of 2000s casual homophobia. most of it comes from his dad, and tbh it wouldn’t be unlikely for souda to be bisexual and not know it (just like canon <3), BUT this au doesn’t focus on him so that’s just a little bonus nuance. For Funsies. as previously mentioned, souda and hajime get along well (souda’s is hajime’s closest male friend, aside from the Father), and they often hang out together. at first souda kind of calls into question some of hajime’s gentler/girlier habits, but overall he does see hajime as Very Masculine so he tries not to give him too much shit, especially since it really seems to bother him. he HAS absolutely called hajime a metrosexual for like. Conditioning His Hair. that sort of thing. but it’s all lighthearted and he does really care abt hajime. that’s his bestie

funnily enough the only other character whose role i’m 100% sure of is gundham’s. he’s one of hajime’s coworkers at the farm supply store! hajime works in more botany-related departments, whereas gundham focuses more on animal husbandry. hajime is on polite terms with gundham, but they’re not too close. in all honestly, hajime’s kind of intimidated by gundham. this guy dresses super scary and actively associates himself with demons and the occult….. it’s a little offputting for him (hajime has never met an alt person before </3 which is such a shame bc he would make a wonderful emo but i digress). overall though, he can tell that gundham cares a lot about his animals and treats them well, so he has respect for him regardless of his reservations. so long as he’s a good person, right? gundham is also dating sonia who comes to visit him at work sometimes (she and chiaki are friends as well, so hajime’s acquainted with her) but that’s all i really have on her right now.

i’ve been trying to think about who would usually run the sunday school. i think chiaki would help, but she wouldn’t be the type to actually teach it. y’know who i think would be fun for that, though? mahiru! this is very not-fleshed-out, but i think she possesses just the right balance of strict and caring to be a good teacher, and i think she’d be good with the woh. i… don’t actually know that much about church structure so i need to research if she’d get a fancy title for being the sunday school teacher, but overall that’s What She Does. of course she’s still best friends with hiyoko, but idk what hiyoko’s deal will be yet so that’ll take some time.

i think jabberwock absolutely has a hanamura diner, owned by a much less creepy teruteru (my au my rules i can fix him if i want) who’s trying to keep the place running to help his mom cover her medical bills. i think it’d be fun if imposter works there (i . may have to give them a name now that i’m thinking about it) but that’s a very young idea, needs time to germinate

I've been thinking about pjsk covers of songs by the Stupendium, so here's a list of thoughts (that I plan to add to)

Leo/Need

Do I even need to say Losing My Patients? I feel like Ichika would very obviously slay both the outfit and the vocals. The rest of them absolutely would too, I just feel like Ichika (and Shiho) would be especially great. Give me an Ichika "first day and I'm rarin' to staaaaart" followed by a Shiho "okay, let's look at your chaaaaart."

I feel an intense desire for an MMJ! Vault Number 76. I need it. It's just so very them in a weird way. Like, the first verse is very hopeful, and it does NOT stay that way. I don't know how to say "there's something very Minori about stepping out into a wasteland, expecting to make friends, and then getting shot in the face," in a way that doesn't sound insulting to Minori in one way or another, but I feel like it's true. Also Minori being like "oh hey Haruka! How's it go- please put the gun away please put the gun away" as we see Haruka in her post-apocalypse getup. I also feel like there's something that the barbershop quartet vibe that goes hand in hand with what would make this a good MORE MORE JUMP! song.

Shine Through? I've only listened to Shine Through once. Tbh most of my VBS songs are just "oh yeah, that would probably be a VBS song" and then I don't think about it any further. Like Impossible Geometry. That seems like it could be a VBS song. Anyway.

Lenenekasa The House Always Wins. Nene The House Always Wins alt. Y'hear me? I honestly have a bunch I could say about this one because I think it's so perfect like Nene House? Nene House? You think she wouldn't slay that? You think Nene would not be the perfect Mr. House?? She would be the perfect Mr. House. And I love it when Tsukasa has to be subtle. Like really I think of it as like a Nene cover with Len and Tsukasa supporting her. Mmmm, but "your safety now provided by the guys at RobCo services" in Len's voice would be yummy... Yeah, Len and Kasa are like the icing on this delicious Nene House cake.

A Matter of Factories! I also made a post about this one. Something's very Niccori Survey Team about it to me, like a team sending an astronaut on a mission and they're giving instructions. And the different lines they're given show their personalities, like Emu's got some of the more cheerful lines, and Nene's lines are more direct and to the point. Also, I really like this song for Emu? Because she's typecast as the over the top villains, and because I think she would look cute in the costume. Especially if it was slightly oversized. Wait, Emu Fiend Like Me??? I'm putting a bookmark in that one.

Neath!. Each member playing a different character. Kanade would be Honest Bob. Because she doesn't fit any of the other characters personality-wise, and because I think her voice would be beautiful in that verse. Mafuyu would be Byron Brimstone. This one feels natural to me, I don't feel like I need to explain it. We've got Mizuki as our chipper narrator, and Ena as the barmaid! I feel like Mizuki's personality meshes well with Harry's friendly demeanor, but also the fact that he's very secretive. We know next to nothing about him, and almost everything we do know about him is because we inferred it, rather than him telling us - much like a certain Akiyama isn't too keen on opening up about herself to others. And just. Mmmm. Ena as Cassie. There's something tasty about it. Not in a weird way. Idk, I feel like I could give good explanations as to why, but the main reason is just, like, it feels good to me. Also, whoever the Virtual Singer is would be Mr. Pages. Maybe MEIKO or KAITO, but anyone could probably work.

The Ribbon? Perhaps? This is one of those ones where I've been like, "hey, that could be a song for this group" a lot, and not thought anything beyond that.

Other

The tsundere girls would rock Rouge's Gallery harder than it has been rocked by any other tsundere girls before. Don't ask what I'm saying. I'm not sure. Anyway. RIN. ENA. AIRI. They would be so great in this. Like you hear it. You hear the song but with Airi Momoi vocals. It works, right? It's good? Yeah. It's really good. Ik that Shinonome Dad isn't a character that sings or appears in any pjsk songs, but if he could I think he should be the owl. And then Ena has the oh that hurts line.

i will be reuploding content for "what sort of ending where you wishing for" and "when the morning glory falls" on to the channel Spoopy-Ryan on youtube. im not sure when im gona put these up, at latest, a bit after everything has been taken down by pjsk. also eveything reuploded will just be pjsk covers and alts. i wont be touching any of the original songs. the stuff i will be reuploding so far is, the full music video to what sort of ending where you wishing for", the full version of "when the morning glory falls" (it never got a music video) full playthrough's of every level of both songs, the background music for rui's 5th event (im unsure if this will be taken away), the preview's of both songs covers on the event menus, and honami's preview and cover of "when the morning glory falls". i am unsure if i will upload honami's full cover because i dont have the cover in game and might use someone else's audio for this, but im still unsure.

also for the playthrough's of the songs, the ones with the music video will be done with auto but the lite ones might just be me full comboing each level of the song (other then maybe wishing for because im struggling at getting a full combo on that so it might just be nomal clear) but if they dont delete the songs before i can get my auto play back (you get 10 a day) then those will be on auto to. for me its currently 10 till midnight so i think i can do it (also i might unlist my full combos and leave links somewhere). also everything will be at 10 speed (if someone wants one or both the songs at a different speed on auto ask me and if there's time i can do it)

just to clarify i am not angry at the dev's and at peace with pjsk's decision to remove these songs in light of the situation. i also have all my condolences for the victim and hope her quick recovery, and dont condole any of pusu's actions. im just reuploding these songs for pepole who still want to listen to these covers or need game footage. (also use any of the footage i reupload as you like, i dont care cus its not really mine)
