𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀: 𝐕𝐢𝐜
@sunflowersteves || @sunflowerstevesmain
From one to five stars, how would you rate your writing? (No downplaying yourself!)
3.5 bc I read an old fic the other day and I’ve improved soooooo much but there’s always room for improvement!
2. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works? I feel like I’m really good at requests.
Sometimes I think it’s hard to imagine what someone is asking for, but as a daydreamer I feel like I can visualize it so well.
3. Are there any writers that inspire you?
Famous authors include Toni Morrison, Stephen King (minus the cocaine💀), and Neil Gaiman. In the server, literally everyone inspires me all the time and is so so supportive. Some mutuals that I so aspire to write like are @moonlightprose, @fushic0re, @darkficsyouneveraskfor, @fluffyprettykitty
4. What’s the fic you’re most proud of?
I would have to say first time (a carmen berzatto x reader) or broken hearts (eddie munson x reader). I think I really capture Carmen and Eddie’s characterization, especially how they would act in a relationship. Also, for sure my best angst.
5. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write and which do you find most difficult to write?
I’m a hyperfixation girly so the easiest are ones that I’m currently obsessed with (joel, miguel o’hara, etc.) and the most difficult are the ones that I still love but have fallen off the obsession wagon (Steve Rogers, geralt, din djarin, etc.)
6. Who or what do you find yourself writing about most?
Smut bc I’m a hoe ✨ also it’s been a year and joel miller wont leave my mind, so
7. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about!
This has literally been on my WIP for over a year, but it has to be a notting hill AU with Sam wilson. I’ve been excited to write that for ages.
8. First fandom you ever wrote for?
Marvel. I wrote a spider girl fic when I was in middle school lmao
9. Any guilty pleasure trope(s)? jealousy fics and protective fics,,, yum
10. A trope you’ll never, ever write for.
Prolly the divorce trope bc I get so mad at characters.
11. Wildest fic you’ve ever written?
It was a request but eddie munson x reader with a guitar head in the coochie and it was great.
12. Favorite pairing to write for? (platonic or romantic!)
I love poly fics! Love Stucky x reader and steddie x reader are my fav. they’re just so good.
13. Do you listen to anything while you write?
I usually have to listen to classical or lofi beats bc I’ll get distracted soooo easily.
14. One-shots or multi-chaptered works?
One shots
15. Have you ever daydreamed about side adventures/spin-offs from your fic? Tell us about them!
As a certified day dreamer, absolutely. Any longer fic I’ve written, I literally day dream how it’s gonna play out. I did that a lot with ain’t no sunshine (joel miller x reader).
16. Is there anything you’ve wanted to write, but you’ve been too scared to try?
I am so bad at angst and I would love to write action/violent fics but I always feel like I can’t describe it for the life of me.
17. What’s the nicest comment you’ve ever received?
Someone commented that they turned my notifications on so that they could see when I posted the fic and that made me giggle and kick my feet.
18. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out?
It’s currently a work in progress, but it’s a period smut fic. It’s not necessarily out of my comfort zone but more of I’ve never written a fic like that before. It’s for Miguel. I’m so ready 👀
19. Tooth-rotting fluff or merciless angst?
tooth-rotting fluff
20. Do you have any OCs? Tell us about them!
I do not ❤️
21. If you could enter the universe of any one of your fics, which would it be and why?
I would die in literally every sci-fi or fantasy world that I love (star wars, game of thrones, lord of the rings, the last of us, attack on titan, etc.) so I’m gonna have to pick marvel. I’d have a fighting chance.
22. Is there anything you wish your audience knew about your writing or writing process?
tbh the hardest part for me is starting. Introductions tear me down every time rip. Sometimes, I just start in the middle because it’s so much easier.
23. Copy and paste an excerpt you’re particularly fond of.
You pause, just for a moment. You could feel the adrenaline kick into your system, and a numbing pain flushed out your senses. The blood felt warm and sticky—prompting the sleepiness to feel calming, and it urged you forward into its safe surroundings. But then you felt it. Panic. Panic rose in your neck as you looked around for someone. Your hand darted out to try and find them, but your mind was starting to become blank from the fuzzy warmth of pain. Joel. You needed Joel.
24. Ramble about any fic-related thing you want!
Ok listen, I wanna write so bad. The last fic I wrote was in March and I’m feeling that writing withdraw. My brain needs to get into hyperdrive so my fingers can type all day long. I have so many fics planned

Team Emperor Headcanons
Disclaimer: some of these headcanons may either slightly or heavily contradict with the canon (and your headcanons), that’s why it’s important to highlight that these are just headcanons and do not affect canon whatsoever. These headcanons are also likely to change as the story progresses or if I suddenly decide one day that I don’t like one of these headcanons and decide to change it. This post is likely due to change in general because I often come up with more random headcanons all the time so be aware
(Just so you know, there has been edits to this post. And there likely will be plenty more to come! So if you see some differences since you last read this post, now you know why)
Emperor
His real name is King. His full name is King Enperry.
Pan and polyamorous. Also a trans masc non-binary, only going by he/him pronouns. Many people don’t even notice he’s nonbinary until he tells you himself.
Wasian—his mother is Japanese ethnic and his father is American ethnic. He gets his eyes from his mum and his english accent from his father.
He and Prince are Pearl’s cousins. They were the first people she told about her relationship with Marina. They both still keep in touch with the musical pair to this day.
He and Prince were well known for being fashion models for the most popular clothing lines, most often Enperry. Emperor would randomly sign himself and Prince—sometimes even Pacer and Jr—up for modeling roles and they would get chosen more often than not. Now, Emperor only signs up for modeling sparingly, while Prince still partakes in it often.
Owns a pretty nice Road King motorcycle that he got for his 20th birthday. Broom broom.
His hands are as cold as the Himalayas. Although, they got warmer when he started working at the Crust Bucket.
He’s actually a pretty good singer and can play the piano well. Pearl sometimes jokes about him hitching along with her and Marina as another vocalist and piano player—or he plays it off as a joke while Pearl is actually serious about the suggestion.
He only plays the piano when he desperately wants to express emotion, which is probably why his playing always sounds so poetic and full of feeling.
He only sings when he’s alone to himself, but if he finds out that he is in fact not alone then he’s gonna shut his mouth soooo fast. If he’s full of alcohol, then he’s probably gonna be the first one to get up on the karaoke stage and bust it out Brendon Urie style.
I like to think he’s a real flirt. He likes to smile and wink, give some warm bedroom eyes, or just casually compliment random people’s appearance sometimes, mostly if he’s already met them before. He kinda just finds it fun to do because he knows he’s got that charm. But Emperor ESPECIALLY loves to do it to N-Pacer or Eging jr because it always makes them so blushy and he loves them. (Prince is sick of it every time his brother does it)
One time Emperor tried playfully flirting with Specs, and the poor guy got so confused as to why he was doing it, but it also blossomed into a short lasting crush lmao
After a while of when he started working with Crusty Sean, he discovered a newfound passion in cooking and culinary. His cooking skills in general also began to improve significantly, impressing his friends and family. Emperor began dreaming of someday opening up a lavish restaurant of his own in Inkopolis.
He’s keeping watch over the Crust Bucket in the square while Crusty Sean is on his trip, with Goggles sometimes coming over to help him out. He’s tried to experiment with some of the foods before, but not without having taste testers like his brother, N Pacer and Eging Jr give him input first before putting it on the menu.
His favorite type of food would have to be spicy food; bonus if it’s sweet n spicy. He really enjoys Army’s curry. Yum yum.👌🏻
He has a large crown made of real gold hiding somewhere in his closet, passed down to him by his mother.
When he's sleeping, he's gonna grab for something. Whether it be a pillow, a plushie, or whatever misfortunate soul snoozing next to him. He will grab onto them and wrap around them like a snake and just cuddle with them until he wakes up. His hold is strong, too, so good luck getting to the restroom without waking him up.
He moved out of his parents’ mansion when he was 21 and decided to move into a cozy cottage with N Pacer and Squidkid Jr on the edge of Inkopolis in a rural estate. Ever since he moved, he kept reminding Prince that his doors were always open if he wanted to come join him. While his little brother was grateful, he declined the offer every time.
Born in a very rich family who owned half of the Enperry corporation alongside Pearl’s parents. His mother was incredibly strict and always expected the best out of him. She put him on such a high pedestal since the day he hatched and was determined to make sure he lived his legacy up to her standards in terms of turf war and inheriting the Enperry company, since Pearl was focusing on her career in music with Marina. Emperor was typically able to meet her expectations, and her constant praise only strengthened his own ego, making him spoiled, arrogant and cocky.
His father was a lot more laid back in raising him and Prinz. While Emperor was still arrogant, his father still tried to teach him the importance of generosity and doing good for others, even though it often fell on deaf ears—save for Prince. He believed that Emperor deserved to follow his own passion and decide his own future himself, and was very proud when he found out Emperor got a job at the Crust Bucket, in contrast to his mother, who was disgusted. His father was very upset with how Emperor’s mother, Elaine, decided to raise him and Prinz, but she often made it seem like his decision never mattered.
Emperor’s parents’ marriage was arranged. They were never truly in love. They don’t hate each other, but they disagree on multiple things and more often than not have they so heavily desired in divorcing each other. They tried to make it work at first, but they just weren’t meant to be. The father, Agate (I’m changing his name because Topaz was someone else’s headcanon for his name), was arranged to marry Elaine because they were both in rich families, and those families wanted to keep within the bounds of a high social status and inherit large companies for more money.
His parents did eventually get divorced. When Emperor had begun to see through his mother’s bullshit and moved out, his parents both finally decided to divorce and move on with their lives. While his father and Prince kept in touch with him, his mother stopped talking to him altogether, seemingly cutting all ties with him after he admitted he didn’t want to be head of Enperry and wanted to pursue his own career choice in culinary.
Despite his mother’s neglect toward Prince, Emperor often looked out for his little brother somewhat as they up grew together, as requested by his father. Even if he sarcastically complimented and dismissed Prince typically, he really did care for him. After after his defeat against Team Blue, he started to make it more abundantly clear how much he cared for Prince, and they grew significantly closer with each other and started acting more like brothers.
He’s in a poly relationship with Squidkid Jr and N Pacer. He knew Jr the longest, as they’re childhood friends and met through their fathers being close friends. They met N-Pacer during high school years (despite not even going to public school. They just hung out around the local campus to look cool and ogle at the ladies) and they both fell in love. It wasn’t long until they began mentoring her in turf war and then used her to replace their old, snarky teammate who was assigned to the team by Emperor’s mother.
His mother DEFINETELY did not like N-Pacer when they first met, especially when it seemed obvious that Emperor had the hots for her. She thought N-Pacer was anything but worthy of ever having her son's hand in marriage, being the “impoverished pest “ she considered her. It was because of that, she tried to hook Emperor up specifically with a bunch of other rich girls, less boys because she really wanted grandkids. Agate thought she was a nice girl and felt so sympathetic when he heard about her struggling home life.
His mother and father were quite shocked when Emperor admitted he and Eging Jr were also a thing, while Papa Eging was quite happy for them. He said something to Eging Jr like "I'm actually glad you chose him of all people, because that assures me that you'll have someone to look out for ya!" He was also very sweet towards N-Pacer when he met her too. Eging Jr’s mom honestly didn’t care honestly, just as long as her boy was happy.
He always makes sure to keep in touch with Blue Team or asks about them whenever he talks with Prince. He and Prince used to invite Specs to family dinners whenever they could, but their mother didn’t allow him to come until she found out how popular and skill his team was and let him come just because he seemed worthy enough of the Enperrys’ presence.
Prince
His real name is Prinz (like in the official English translation)
On the aroace spectrum, but tends to show signs of the gay. 🏳️🌈 🫵🏻
FUCK IT HE TRANSMASC 🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️ When he came out to his brother he was like “Oh, ok, I guess I have a brother then.” Mans ain’t transphobic ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
(Except Emperor kinda took it as he could lightly bully his brother a little more cuz he’s a dude now…. Uh, oddest way to be an ally?)
Wasian, just like Emperor. He looks just like his father while his voice sounds eerily similar to his mother.
He was somewhat reluctant when Laceless asked him out, as he was worried it would negatively affect their relationship as mentor and apprentice on the battlefield. (Also because he wasn’t really enthusiastic about getting into a relationship.) When he asked his cousin and brother for advice, they told him to just try it and see where it goes, and it’s gone pretty good ever since. His father knows but his mother doesn’t, as he’s worried how she’ll react to him being in a relationship with a “commoner”. Even after all this time, he’s still never told her.
When Emperor moved out with N Pacer and Jr, Prince was determined to build his own team himself. He invited Splat Jr (splattershot jr) onto the team and began to teach him everything he knew. He also invited a friend of his, Lilith, to join his team for a little while, and she displayed such spectacular skills so they wanted to keep her around, but she eventually left to start her own group, winding up somewhere in Splatsville—so the fourth role is open for tryouts! Mitsuami eventually joined the team upon becoming more popular within both Splatsville and Inkopolis after the Splatsville Turf cup. He calls his new team “Team Prince” and aims to increase their skills and discover techniques in both turf war and ranked battles. He is very proud of his team. :)
Since Emperor decided to decline the opportunity in inheriting the Enperry corporation, Prinz took the offer instead. Since then, Elaine began to show him more attention and give him more of her approval, but he only found her behavior insulting because he knew she was only acting like that to him because Emperor didn’t want to own the company like their mother previously expected, so she was trying to butter him up and get on his good side in hopes of getting some of that dough.
His mother, Elaine, was mostly neglectful during his upbringing. He often grew jealous of Emperor for the constant attention and praise he got while nothing Prince did ever seemed to make her to bat an eye to him. Plus, Emperor often didn't take him as seriously as he did later on, and to this day it still bothers him a little bit. There’s also the inner-family controversy about her being upset that he “decided to transition” because she wanted a daughter apparently… Not that she treated Prince with anymore respect before he came out 😑. Agate (his father) and Pearl supported him all they could, along with his aunt, uncle, and even his dad’s friend, the original Squidkid and his wife who all tried spoil him with nice gifts. They all mean a lot to him.
When he and his dad moved out of the mansion and away from his mother, Prince began to discover his newfound mischievous nature and began to find ways to (harmlessly) prank his friends and his dad. They all get a good laugh out of each other at the end.
He looks up to Squidkid Jr and N-Pacer as older siblings. He likes to take them along with him when he signs up for modeling. They kill it every time. Prinz also sees the original Squidkid and his wife as second uncle and aunt figures, since they spent a lot of time around each other’s families since Prince was little.
He also likes to bring Aloha and his roommate, Lilith, for modeling gigs. Aloha adores the clothes and the attention, but while Lilith also adores trying on a lot of the clothes, she gets all shy when people recognize her in public. 👉🏻👈🏻
Ngl I think he would be a theater kid, or have a fascination for musicals at least. He likes to dance to their genre of music because he finds them ethereally unique. He can act a little bit—he tries his best—but he could never be able to tell a lie to someone’s face (he’s tried)
I think he’d also have a fascination for true crime and mystery in general—mostly murder mystery or just mature mystery kind of stuff. Not because of the horror at the death and all the suspense, but he finds the detective’s process of looking for clues and solving the cases to be quite intriguing. At one point he was even thinking about becoming a detective himself, but then he decided to take over the his family company instead, so his detective dream had to be shelved…. For another day, perhaps.
After the King Cup turf war, he became close friends and hangs out with all of the S4. Aloha takes him out for milkshakes and shopping, Prince gives Army samples from Emperor’s food experiments, Mask takes him to the arcade, and Prince and his team like to train with Skull and his team.
He’s more closed off towards strangers and new people, but once he gets to know them, he likes to give and get hugs. He, Bobble and Goggles are hugger extraordinaires.
Became close friends with Blue Team after the king cup arc, especially with Specs after some time. Sometimes both teams will come to share battle strategy meetings and offer very informative suggestions and advice. They also train together a lot.
He also tried to help hype up Specs in asking out Headphones when word got out that they both had a crush on each other.
He may have got a growth spurt, but he was a late bloomer when it came to his voice. Laceless ended up getting the deeper voice treatment before he did, and Prince spent a good while sounding younger than him.
Ever since he became team leader, many people began complimenting him for his leadership skills, especially Emperor, which at the time was surprising. It made him feel so happy and seen, and it chewed away any he self-consciousness he had about himself.
He doesn't snore, but he drools in his sleep because he sleeps with his mouth open. He also sometimes mutters in his sleep. It can range from silly, adorable, to tear jerking
Squidkid/Eging Jr
Real name is Alonzo Jr (his father’s name is Alonzo)
Bi man, polyamorous too
Bit of a spoiled rich kid, due to growing up in a rather privileged, lavish household. Now he’s mostly just a sporty snob who enjoys barbecues.
Pretty good on the skateboard and roller blades. They see me rolliiiiin’, they hatiiiin’
You’d never hear anyone else scream at a live sports game on tv or in person as loud as he does. Coming from a father who’s very well known in sports, he takes that kind of stuff a little too seriously. He’s gotta put a $20 bill in the swear jar after every game time
He’s smarter than many people think. Even if it weren’t for his great skills in sports, he’d still get accepted into a good college based on his straight A grades, ESPECIALLY in his gym classes. Just like his daddy, he was the best basketball player in his entire school. He tutored Emperor and Prince a lot when they struggled with homework or had to study for tests. Eventually he started having N-Pacer over for study sessions, but to this day she knows that it was just an excuse for him just to have her at his house and spend time with her
He’d also be a good gym teacher. A little hardcore, but he loves teaching and coaching others and strives to see his students do their best. He volunteered as a substitute teacher at an elementary school a few times, and let's just say, those kids did not get a day off from the track. Though, they did think he was a whole lot of fun, especially when they were playing basketball with him during recess.
When he and N Pacer first met, he put her through some grueling training, but it only escalated slowly as it went on. He may have had a big ol’ crush on her, but he wasn’t gonna allow that to make him let up on her. Both because their team was striving to be the best and they needed N-Pacer to learn skills and get stronger as soon as she could, and also because they wanted that asshole in their group that was appointed by Emperor’s mom OUT as soon as possible. He was so proud when Pacer finally “graduated” from his training.
Took up learning some martial arts like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, judo, and kickboxing as a hobby. He likes to spar with Army and Goggles every so often, and teach Emperor, N-Pacer and Prince some moves. He even spared with Lilith once, and BOY did she floor him. It actually made him very excited to spar with her again while she was like '👁️👁️'.
Does not know how to cook or bake. He wasn’t as bad as Emperor during his first time learning how to cook, but his skills are… Just not that good. The best he can do is microwave foods or just putting stuff straight in the oven. Even then, he nearly burnt both his parents' house and the cottage down because he forgot to turn the oven off TWO TIMES. He's banned from the kitchen, banished! Bro cannot cook for shit. Even after Pacer and Emperor tried teaching him, he's hopeless. Never let him near Gordon Ramsay lest you want him to get eviscerated and called a soggy donkey
When he, Emperor and Pacer moved into the cottage, he installed his own a little basket court in the backyard to play basketball. Sometimes he plays by himself, or he’ll invite some buddies like the S4, Lime green team, X Bloods, Prince’s team or team Blue to come over and play.
He likes to hang around the S4, Rider and Prince, and he loves to have them over for when they have barbecues—all cooked by Emperor.
He and Aloha are party planner extraordinaires. They're also great friends.
Animals don't like him for some reason. Pigeons and other birds harass him, sea slug pets growl and try to nip at him, and Judd and Lil Judd give him the stink eye whenever he's around. It makes him very sad (HE JUST WANTS TO BE FRIENDS MAN).
He snores so loud it's annoying. CLOSE YOUR DAMN MOUTH, BOY.
N-Pacer
Her real name is Nahla.
Omni with a preference leaning towards women, yet she scored two fellas.
Been the second shortest in the group for a long time, until Prinz suddenly got a growth spurt out of nowhere, then she became the smallest. Do not let that make you underestimate her; she will jump on you like a spider monkey if so desired.
Got a bit of chub, also mixed with some muscle due to training. Sometimes she likes to pick up Eging Jr and Emperor when they least expect it.
Girl boss on the battlefield—repressed girl failure in the public.
Loves gossiping with Headphones during their tea parties...
Pacer: “I’m not so much into drama, honestly- “
Headphones: “did you hear what Forge said to Asymmetry the other day?”
Pacer: “NOW POUR THE TEA”
She also had a part in helping Headphones hook up with Specs. (She wants to be the maid of honor at the wedding--sorry girl, it's gonna be Bobble)
When she gets mad or upset, she becomes non-verbal and refuses to speak until she feels better about. Until then, she's gonna just glare at you know to back off because she's not in the mood.
She used to wear glasses (full moon glasses to be exact; they used to be her father’s) until she started training with Emperor and Jr. She was worried her glasses would distract her so they bought her some contacts.
Her original hair color used to be light pink. There’s still a little bit of bright pink in the tips of her hair.
Clamumbian (Columbian) nationality. She can speak fluent Splatish (Spanish), but she mostly does so around her family. One time she heard Skull speaking Splatish and they ended up having an entire conversation.
She became part of the charger group, consisting of Headphones, Half-Rim, and Skull.
N Pacer grew up in an impoverished family household. Her mother couldn’t work due to a disability and her father’s job did just enough to pay the bills.
She has a little brother and a baby sister whom she has to babysit sometimes due to her father being at work and her mother busy with tedious, out of the house chores. Thankfully, her brother is well behaved enough, at least in the house.
Her father is a gentle man, more so a doormat really. Meanwhile, her mother is TERRIFYING and also very protective of Pacer. She slips that chancla off her foot like she’s unsheathing a sword. However, her mother can be a cool woman once you get to know her.
Her mother did not like the idea of her daughter hanging around a pair of over popular, stuck-up snobs from rich families, much less dating them. She was worried that they would take advantage of her poor little daughter and manipulate her into abandoning her family—which is her greatest fear.
Her mother and Emperor's mother absolutely fist fought each other before, while Squidkid Jr's mom watched, cheering "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
N-Pacer's mom won. Couple days later that's when Emperor moved out and his parents got divorced. 😂
Shes actually knows a lot about science. When she spent free time watching tv, it would usually be on a science documentary/informational channel because they didn’t have a wide range of options at the time. She’ll get into an entire rant about plate tectonics and organism evolution and end up baffling everyone at the tea party (while they’re still listening intently with some interest 😶☕️)
She used to be really unconfident with the charger, because when she first started using it, she wasn't that good at it. But then she was introduced to the splatterscope and then she ruled the stage like the queen she is.
She loves decorating for Halloween and Christmas. She's a total holiday fanatic. She also loves dressing in warm, comfy clothes and drinking her favorite tea or coffee during Fall and Winter, her two favorite seasons.
She became Emperor's cooking buddy when he started getting interested in culinary. She showed him how to make all of her well known family dishes and some of her personal favorites dishes. He likes to surprise her with her favorite foods sometimes cuz he's a nasty heterosexuaaaaaaal /j (He's pan remember?).
She also likes to paint. She wasn't as invested in it at first, but when they all moved into the cottage together, she started painting more during her free time. She originally intended to sell them for money to help support her parents, but Emperor and Eging Jr get too attached to her artwork and choose to hang up plenty of what she makes in the house or just give her canvases to her parents to admire. She’s very bashful about it.
She's always LOVED jewelry, even when her parents could never afford any due to their economic situation. But when she met Emperor, he and his cousin, Pearl, poured so many jewelry gifts onto her like a waterfall, gold rings, bracelets, diamond necklaces with matching earrings, even little tiaras and everything. It made her so happy like she was kicking her feet and giggling girly giggles. She is so adorable I love her.
She likes dream catchers. She used to ask her parents for one every Christmas or on her birthday, and they always did what they could to get her one that didn't fall apart in a matter of days. When she got older and moved out, one Christmas she bought a giant, expensive dream catcher for her parents and some for her little siblings and they all put it right over their beds. (Me out here writing Christmas family fluff on a Friday afternoon)
N-Pacer has the most ridiculous, loudest laugh you'll ever hear. It's a deep belly laugh, and it sounds so funny. You'll only hear it when she's either drunk or in genuine hysterics because it's considered her true laugh, she tries to hide it otherwise because she's embarrassed of it.
She used to not have any friends except for one snooty narcissist before she became part of team Emperor. When she did, she was expecting to gain a lot more friends due to her popularity, but as it turns out she went from "not being in anyone's league" to "no one being in her league." She gained too much social power and it made her a little sad. At least she still had her team, and she made more friends later on, so that's a win.
Can you tell I love N-Pacer so much?
By the way, here’s my post for my head canons voice claims for team Emperor!

I know literally nothing about Trolls, so I’m curious. Was there anything specific that got you into the franchise? A trope? a character? Or was it just a variety of things that only coming together made it into something special?
I want to know if I should watch the movies since you’re the first person on the internet I’ve seen to have a positive opinion on them.
So, my first introduction to the franchise was way back when just the first movie was out. It was my little brothers favourite film for a LOOONG time so it was on repeat in our house for a while lmao it took me a while to actually pay attention to it but once I did I was like yeah! Good movie :] it establishes the world and characters well, and it's just an all round fun time with cool designs fun ideas and yknow I'm always a sucker for colourful singing fun little guys. A lot of people misunderstand the messaging of the first movie which frustrates me A Lot lol but yknow. It's a cute and silly and fun time and you can't go wrong w that. Singing Killed His Grandma<3 lol
The second movie is also very fun to me and expands the world in a really cool way, with new genres of trolls and the differences between them, each troll tribe has it's own unique setting I loooove the backgrounds in these movies you can tell a lot of thought was put into them, everything looks crafted in it's own unique way that represents the creatures that live there soo well augghgh yum. I personally think the second movie, for a children's film attempting to be an analogy for colonialism and historical revisionism lmfao, does a fairly decent job at tackling the themes in a way kids can kind of understand I think?? obviously it simplifies it all but, yknow, kids movie. And the individual character arcs the main characters go through are really interesting and fitting to the characters imo.
I also really like that they don't change Branch after the end of the first one to just be back to a peppy pop troll, like he's still a grumpy anxiety ridden little guy, like it shows his recovery from being grey isn't linear but he's improving, and it continues into the third movie as well as he slowly regains colour bit by bit, I really like Branch as a character :]
And the third one adds so much to Branch's character as well, delving into his backstory and making him like even more tragic which is so funny to me. We again, get an even more expansive look at the world outside of Bergentown, Pop village and the other troll genre territories and we get to see even more creatures from all over. And is also just one big Justin Timberlake Used To Be In a Boyband joke its great JHJGFH
I think it's very much a big mixture of things that's got me hooked on this series, among them is the clear love you can tell the creators have for it the world is so vibrant and interesting, the characters are honestly engaging and fun to think about since the movies are short snippets we get of their lives and realtionships and what have you I'm always a sucker for open to interpretation character relationships as well lmao, for me the jokes hit pretty well, and they're just Fun to be so honest, it's okay to have fun sometimes and they just make me happy so I am going to continue to play my tuoys smile

doing this bc @thetentaclecommander did it and it looks interesting.
When did you start writing?
I started journalling when I was seven because I loved the Junie B. Jones books, so I mimicked the diary-style genre to write about my own daily activities. When I was eleven, I got really obsessed with book publishing and novels as a concept, so that's when I wrote my first official story that followed a basic plot rise and fall. It is not good, but it was the beginning.
Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?
I LOVE mysteries, but I don't have the skillset to write them. Same for thrillers! I also like stories with extensive lore over a long period of time, but I don't know if my brain is made to build complicated worlds.
As for themes in my reading, I think I usually love things focusing on trust, acceptance, and survival. Yum. I probably end up writing about those a lot as well...
Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?
(I think I have always done this, as shown by my imitation of Junie B. Jones.)
To me, it's about writing style and atmosphere. I love a delicious writing style.
I think I generally want to emulate good flow; I want the writing itself to be enjoyable, regardless of what the story is. I am fascinated by the styles of Andrzej Sapkowski (I know it's translated and there's a whole discussion about that, but still), Cormac McCarthy, Donna Tartt, and Tove Jansson (also translated). I am also heavily influenced by poets, including Mary Oliver, Morgan Harper Nichols, and Carl Sandburg.
Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?
I'll write anywhere as long as I have my laptop, my phone, or a notebook and a good pen. I've written in cars, the bath, my bed, the backyard, the break room during my lunch, etc. As long as I can get into a good posture, I'm set.
I also like to have music going in the background in some way. I'll either play my usual rock playlists, or find one of my soundtrack mixes.
What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?
Probably either by listening to music that makes me feel strong emotions, going through a life experience that I need to process, or being in nature! Another rarer occurrence is to think of an odd character concept (e.g. my OC Tulie, a tulip who turned into a boy) and build off of that.
I also like to read other authors' books to inspire myself. It's one of the fastest ways to get myself into a writing mood.
Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?
I don't know. I tend to be more of a vague theme-writer because I love establishing atmosphere more than anything else.
I'm still learning how to analyze stories for themes. Dare I say that trust, loneliness, and survival are common ones in my stuff? Somebody tell me.
What is your reason for writing?
Writing is my most reliable form of communication. To process, to share, to expand. I have to.
How do you want to be thought about by your readers?
People can think whatever they want, I suppose. I want people to feel something in the fibers of my pieces, how I was enjoying every moment of putting them together. And to be completely barefaced about it, I want people to think my pieces are done well, at least for my experience level.
What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?
What do I feel...
I'm not sure! Maybe immersion? Also, I'd like to think I build tension well, though it might be only tension that feels right to me. I love being picky about how authors build tension and emotion.
How do you feel about your own writing?
Depends on the day. I like my most recent pieces and frown at the ones from +3 months ago, but sometimes I'm in a mood where it feels like nothing I've written has ever been what I wanted (edit: it doesn't help that poor self-esteem is mine enemy). I'm constantly finding things I want to emulate or improve.
When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?
I don't think I can write unless I'm fully invested in the story, so it has to be at least 80% for myself. I DO think about what makes a story good in general. What would make this feel more tense? Would people care about this character? That kind of thing. But generally, I have the most fun, fluid process when I write for myself.
I'm tagging my writing buddies! Hop on board, if you so desire.
@samblerambles @silvercap @fonulyn @colesabi @resident-rats
@welcome-leon @geddy-leesbian and @thebrandywine
And anyone else who wants to join! 🩵 I'm so curious to see peoples' writing origins and reasons for writing!

Everyone is a revolutionary until the trash has to be taken out.
Let me explain: most people who want the status quo AND a giant revolution with blood think the system will benefit them. However, the moment they have to do the annoying minutae of society, they suddenly refuse to engage in it.
This is because most people are under the assumption that they will benefit more in the new order, not that they will be the ones required to run it or do the dirty jobs nobody wants to. Some happily tell about having servants and the strong to rule and to kill the rich, ignoring that they may be the servants, the weak, the rich. They believe that their life will improve, not worsen.
Which is what oh so many revolutions fail at. They get the depose-replace part, but then fall into the same traps the old system had, or worse, create brand new traps and willingly charge into them.
Imagine, we go to a free buns party. 500 people can get free buns! Yum! However... there are a 1000 people. How should we solve it?
Give to the first 500? Great, and- oops, sorry, you are the 501st...
Oh, tickets. You can buy a ticket, get a bun. But it is not a free bun then... but alas. Oops, sorry, you can't buy a ticket, guy before you had more money.
Redistribute. Okay, give me two hours. And also service fee, one bun for me... got to get people to carry... my buddies in the council... oops, sorry, you JUST missed it. I mean, you look like someone who could use some less buns, you get me?
Free for all? Ok. Oops, sorry, those guys are bigger and faster than you. Sorry.
Oh, sharing! Lovely idea. Half a bun for everyone. There. It is solved, as long as we only got 500 buns for 1000 people.
Now... imagine it not being about free buns. It is about housing, plumbing, mass transit, jobs one can do, water, food, etc.
But let us imagine tomorrow we find out the Utopian Edict. It is suprisingly easy to implement and comes free! It even solves the resource problems all across the globe, and SOMEHOW none of us becomes a selfish jerk by political, national, emotional, sexual, racial or other identities we have. A true utopia, where happiness is free for everyone and nobody leaves unsatisfied.
Who will take out the trash?
Come on, you know we can recycle them, but someone still has to take out the trash. Someone has to deliver the mail. Someone has to put the buns in the oven and take them out, with the right time between the two. The books have to be printed AND written by someone for us to read. Someone has to make sure there are schools, libraries, hospitals, buses, trams, buns and so many more.
In the Utopian life, we won't just point to someone else. It ought to be either volutary - the people who like doing these - or rewarded well - so people do these and not much more.
Taking out the trash is not as glamorous as being the Hero of the Great Cause, but have you ever considered that after the Great Revolution wins, you have to build a new world, right? What world would that be?
Consider this: you are asked what should happen to the worst members in society. When you say the answer, a random roll is done to determine if you get the worst member role or not. Will your answer change?
In the Utopia version, you will be asked who should take out the trash and what we should give for them for doing such a job. "Nobody" wants to do it, but it has to be done. Surely, we find volunteers but it won't be enough...
So. In this utopia we fight for, we should consider what world we build. Not just shout for guillotines and firing squads and "we figure it out eventually"; not just "we can fix this all", and ignore the minutea like taking the trash out. Storming a palqce qnd blowing bridges up is the stupid eaasy part of a revolution, building houses and bridges and making sure there are trains and running on time is the hard part. Almost all revolutions failed on these when they started. Wwe will need logisticians, planners and people who are willing to take out the trash more than people good with bombs and guns.
Even in Utopia, you will need someone who does it. Except in Utopia, it would be a job that is not treated as trash.

Eh I'm gonna disagree a little bit. I do understand that these are shows first and games second, but...
If you don't follow the rules of the game, then there's no point to play the game. You might as well just be doing improv.
And if I complained to my GM that someone got "three reactions this round" I'm not being a miserable fellow player, I'm asking a legitimate question. Can I react multiple times if I want? What are the rules?
When you're playing a game, if you don't care about the rules, YOU AREN'T PLAYING A GAME. If I watch a show because I want to see folks play a game, and then they aren't playing the game, what am I watching?
It might be entertaining, it might be fun, it might even be excellent storytelling. But it's raising a generation that think playing TTRPGs is just about fun. There's a difference between "play" and "games." If you don't like following rules, if you just want to get to do something fun because it's funny or cool or prevents your character from being at risk...You shouldn't be a part of the game with those rules. Find a different game, find a different ruleset, or just engage in play for the heck of it. There's nothing wrong with five people around a table just acting and telling a story and RPing. Hell, back in my Gaia Online days I did lots of text-based RP where we just improv'd how combat would go and there were no rules. It was fun. It wasn't a game and that was okay.
I have been the person who has critiqued these TTRPG shows when they just don't care about the rules. I also understand why sometimes a great moment requires the players just completely ignoring the rules. I also would never play with someone who couldn't bother to read a spell description and just pretended they knew what it did to make a scene funny. Or someone who just wants to cast a spell for a gag regardless of whether they have spell slots or that spell known or prepared. Or someone who is unwilling to participate in the game for all its ups and downs.
You can ask the people I play TTRPGs with. They seem happy to play with me. I love RP. I love characters. I love stories. But I also love the game, for what it is.
Actual Plays are often anything but. They are not actual. They are play, though. And that's fine. But it's okay to dislike it for what it is. It's okay to criticize things within reason! It's fine if someone thinks Dimension 20 is infuriating to watch because someone breaks the rules. As long as they don't personally attack anyone, this is literally the other side of the coin of "don't yuck someone's yum." This person isn't saying you're wrong for enjoying the content. They're literally acknowledging their bias and talking about their experience.
Anyways. Please just let people do what they want. Have what opinions they want. I care about games for what they are, I think rules matter, and I care about analyzing why rules work and are important in games. I don't try to police what other people want to do. But I am gonna comment on it because I see a lot of things that I think are poorly done.
Occasionally I take a peak at DnD Podcast Criticism Subreddits out of morbid curiousity and by god you will find people out there who hate entertainers with every fiber of their being. If they're not playing exactly one-to-one with DnD rules and if they even ATTEMPT comedy or drama dudes online in these miserable little circles shake with rage. I totally think criticism towards a lot of DnD shows is fair, it's great to want the shows you listen to to improve, but good lord
If you talk like this about DnD shows online I know in my heart of hearts playing a tabletop game with you would be misery incarnate

Bumps - part 2
July 20 continued...
After lunch - which must have had some toxin growing in Katelyn's portions - we headed to Arlington Cemetery. We had watched a couple of videos on the Old Guard, the Army unit that guards the Tomb of the Unknown. - We also discovered that of the more than 700 sentinels who have guarded the tomb - only 5 have been women. We learned about the requirements, the schedule and the process - so were were looking forward to watching the Changing of the Guard. No matter how many times you see it it truly is a sight to behold. You can imagine our excitement when we saw that the sentinel coming on duty was indeed a woman!
I was a bit disappointed with our trip to Arlington because when we arrived just before 3:00 we discovered that the Custis-Lee Mansion closed at 4:00 and the grounds at 4:30 - which meant there was no way we were going to see it, JFK's burial site and the Changing of the Guard - so the Mansion had to go. GGGRRRRRR!
Above we are at the Kennedy burial site with the eternal flame and the mansion behind us. That is as close as we got to the mansion, but the kids knew the history of the place and the land surrounding General Robert E. Lee's home. It is in the 90s, bright and sunny. PHEW!!
It was after we watched the Changing of the Guard that Katelyn started to feel bad. We were getting ready to look at some tombstones when I decided we were done. Her stomach was hurting and as soon as we got home, she piled into bed. Now, when this Energizer Bunny piles into bed in the middle of the day - I'm worried.
Our plans for the evening involved seeing Lion King at the Kennedy Center but I told Katelyn we would wait until about 15 minutes prior to our leaving time for her to give the "go/no go" decision - that is astronaut speak. When the time came, she picked "go." We changed our clothes and headed out. We took the Metro to Foggy Bottom and as we reached the top of the stairs and headed to the Kennedy Center van, she stopped and said - "Damma, I don't think I can do this." And the eruption began. I put Daphne and Sagan on the van and stayed with Katelyn (with all the supplies I had packed for just such an occasion.). But after that mess - she felt sooooo much better and wanted to push ahead. So, we also boarded the bus to Kennedy Center. By the time she got there - she had changed her mind. About 10 minutes after Lion King began, we called an Uber and headed home. She had a rough couple of hours but finally with her entire system clean, she slept and slept all night.
While we were home not having a grand ol' time - Sagan and Daphne were having a great time.
The play was great and the very happy patrons of the arts arrived "home" around 10:00 - glowing. Sagan first concern was for Katelyn and he asked about her immediately. Once I convinced him that she would be OK - he had much to tell me about the play and had trouble trying to tell me about everything without cracking up. Perfect. Daphne agreed that it was a wonderful night - for them...
I did NOT sleep well because I was so worried about Katelyn. But she was greatly improved the next day. She was sad to miss Lion King - so I ordered it up.
She took the morning off enjoying the animated version of Lion King.
Daphne and Sagan went out to visit Ford's Theater and learned about the Lincoln Assassination. (I gave Katelyn the Ford Theater talk using photos from the Internet and although it would have been better had she been there - she got the best next available thing.)
They also had lunch at Lincoln's Waffle House. (Yum?)
After a nice rest, the 4 of us headed to the Smithsonian Museum of American History. In preparation, I went carefully through the history of the War of 1812 and of Fort McHenry and why it was important. Using a map it was so easy to see WHY the Brits wanted it and why the US didn't want them to have it. THEN I went through the Star Spangled Banner poem line by line. (It was a poem LONG before it was a song.) What did each line mean? Did they really have rockets then? And more. The surprise for me was the the kids noticed the last line finished with a question mark. It is a question after all. The entire poem is just two questions. But - they argued - we most certainly do NOT sing it like that. True - then they both began singing ending the 4th and last line with a question. It was GREAT!!
O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light, What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there, O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Finally we saw The Star Spangled Banner. I kept telling them that this sucker was BIG - but they were still surprised. No pictures allowed so - Hello Internet. We also saw the rockets that gave a red glare and the bombs that burst in the night. It was a good experience.
We also saw the original Woolworth's Counter from Greensboro, NC where 4 young men, Joseph McNeil, Franklin McCain, Ezell Blair Jr., and David Richmond, sat down to stand up. They changed the world.
Next, we visited the First Ladies area and then the exhibits about the Presidents. I was so surprised to have Barack and Michelle wish me a happy birthday!
We visited the hall of the Presidents and had some fun.
Don't they look perfect in that role?!?!?!
And that drained Katelyn's slow re-charge. We headed back. She is currently napping with the hope that she will be able to go on our Farewell Washington Tour tonight at 8:00. Fingers crossed!!!

From the project of interviewing Stanley S. Bass about his experiences with Karezza techniques, The Life Science Publishing created the 2008 book Energy-Karezza. Here Dr. Bass tells the story of how, in his 30’s, he was on his way to become a celibate yogi through Brahmacharya, when he learned about reaching the same spiritual goal via Karezza & Tantra. He decided to try Karezza instead.
Even though his personal goal was spiritual, Dr. Bass soon discovered that women loved Karezza, and couldn’t get enough. When he started teaching the improved Energy-Karezza method to couples with marital problems, the results were astounding. Usually, within weeks, the couple had fallen in love again. Problematic marriages healed, becoming more and more harmonious and stronger with time.
Over time, over 50+ years, he not only gained experience concerning every aspect of Karezza/Tantra, but also – thanks to his energy-understanding, being an orthopathic doctor – developed an improved, more powerful & easy-to-learn, version. Traditional “Karezza/Tantra” can be difficult for men, but “Energy-Karezza/Tantra” is easy, and also gives more pleasure & prolongation..
INTRODUCING OTHERS TO KAREZZA
youtube
youtube
Karezza is about one thing, the man has to control himself. It is so easy. I got so good at this control that I soon was able to go almost a whole year with no accidents. With very heavy sex - three times a week, four hours each session. It didn't take long to get to a high level of proficiency.
In a few months I was very good at it already.
It is very simple, it is natural. It is not difficult. Prove it for yourself, don't take my word for it. Try it out. The first time I heard about it, it was strange to me, so I tried it. It didn't take me long to get good at it. It was easier than I thought. In fact, I taught Karezza to a lot of friends, and everyone had success.
If one of them asked me, "how do I know if it will work?", I gave him a simple method of trying it. I usually said, "why don't you first try:
1. Don't have an orgasm quickly, but wait until the woman is finished, until she has had her enjoyment. Practice holding back for half an hour, for an hour, for several hours, if you can.
2. Then you'll see that your own orgasms are better; they are more enjoyable.
3. Also try having an orgasm only every other time you have sex.
Skipping one time. Every other time, try without orgasm. See how you feel."
With my sex students, those were my instructions, to begin with. These instructions summarize basic traditional Karezza. But these simple instructions could still be difficult for some men. They lost control (ejaculated) early, and were never able to do Karezza for a full hour.
Therefore, to make it easier, I gave my students some Energy-Karezza secrets. I asked them to improve their diet, and to avoid alcohol and all drugs. I told them not to eat before sex, because a man can not control himself after he has eaten. Why? Because then too much blood goes to the stomach.
Also, I gave very detailed instructions on the best movements in sex. I told them to move slowly, and explained how to move, so they wouldn't get too excited, e.g. sideways, in semicircles, avoiding the in-out moves.
For the premature ejaculators, I told them to give up salt, and to not use anything spicy hot, avoid hot peppers, stay away from spices, because this throws them out of control. And then I told them to use certain motions, slow motions, that makes it easy to control oneself. That's all.
Then the women will get the pleasure, because the men are controlling themselves.
For some men the pleasure was so overwhelming that they were still unable to control themselves very long, more than perhaps 45 minutes, even if their diet was good and they had high vitality. In these cases I think the solution is just doing it over and over. Sometimes men, just like women, may need saturation with lots of high-pleasure peak orgasms, before they can start with serious self-control and higher-pleasure valley orgasms. It may take months, but in the end they will get there.
I myself was never overly concerned with the clitoris or the G-spot, because the Karezza was so enjoyable and I was so good at it that a woman couldn't hold out long. If they wanted to have an orgasm, they could have it quick. Women enjoyed it.
The women were very happy. After beginning Karezza, it became unnecessary to calculate all this stuff. I never had to actually figure it out.
All I did was to function naturally, the way I felt like, without thinking about it. And it was right, for every woman. If one gets too mechanical about it, one becomes a dud. Then it is not real. Real sex has nothing to do with the brain, it has to do with feelings, true feelings and movement.
That's all. The brain is not needed.

YAB YUM
What are you experiencing?
~ by yab yum
Be patient. At first you can't experience the orgasmic part of this process. Some get it on their first try and for some it can take years. Keep practicing with the exercise your teacher gives you. Even if you don't experience the orgasm, just the breath and energy circling alone is of great value. It will clear blocks so that eventually the orgasm can pass through you. Blocks can be experienced in many ways – crying, gagging, getting frustrated, resurfacing old memories. Just keep breathing. Visualize letting go of the "old" on the exhale, ringing out the "new" on the inhale. Energy levels will most likely rise and fall, like mercury in a thermometer. Tell your partner where it slipped. Your partner will encourage you to tap into your sexual center when energy is slipping. One of the main keys to learning this technique is KNOWING that it is possible.
(When asked if she had an orgasm, Sara responded 🙂
It was uninterrupted, uninterrupted… This was definitely something else, which I have never experienced so fully.
(Sara was then asked if there were any psychological changes.)
Oh yes, sure. From the point of view of spiritual practice it is always full of insight, a kind of insight that comes after, about how I am in ecstasy in my usual state, because it is obvious that the ecstasy is inherent in the body (level), of my being… and also of course this would affect my meditation. I am much more relaxed and receptive physically, emotionally and psychologically when I sit down to meditate…. I don't know what this has to do with anything, but meditation becomes very sexual, very physical, playing with all these hormones. Very often in my meditation there is a stage like deepening where it goes through something like lovemaking in a hormonal sense. I feel the heat and change of energy and so forth, and then it just cools down. That is when deep meditation begins.
It is absolutely blissful in ecstasy because the bliss is something I feel in the body. The ecstasy is something where the body is no longer. Energy goes up. His community. It is love. The transcendent, the energy feeling, transcends even the light that I'm talking about in meditation, and just went into the light.
One tree merges with another tree, the earth merges with the trees, the trees merge with the sky, the sky merges with the unknown...you merge with me, I merge with you...everything merges...differences lost, melting and merging as waves into other waves…an enormous unity vibrating, alive, without limits, without definitions, without distinction…the sage melting into the sinner, the sinner flowing together in the sage…becoming good becoming bad, becoming bad…the night turning into the day, day turning into night… life melts into death, death plunges into life again – then everything has become one.
This has changed my experience with sexuality forever… It has blown up things like this what you have about sex, the good feeling you get from sexual experience or trying to get. It broke that because it was so obviously about submission. It wasn't about me trying to do something. It was about not doing something, but rather receiving or allowing it, rather than doing and creating and making.
This is the most profound healing practice I have ever encountered. It has awakened me to realize that my body is often shut off from the bliss and ecstasy it might be experiencing. Through this practice I have come to learn that emotional pain occurs when orgasmic energy does not flow freely through my body and that there is an infinite flow of orgasmic energy available to me. It has taken me years to gradually release the tension and pain in my body and I still have areas of tension to unblock. The sensations can be different each time depending on my condition, sometimes there is a pulsating vibration and sometimes it feels like some kind of electrical current circulating through my genitals throughout my body. There may be tears of joy. My mind can be perfectly clear and it can seem like everything I feared has been resolved. When a certain area of tension is unblocked and the orgasmic energy circulates, there is always an amazing sense of oneness with the life being awakened.
Mel 40 Auckland
My teacher knew how to touch – and where to make contact – He knew places to touch that I didn't know about – and soon I was on my way to another place in another universe. I was in a trance of breathing and sweat and pleasure that so long and so dead do had gone – that I traveled through light and sound. I never knew that such an experience could be had without actually making love. When I finally climaxed and climaxed and climaxed, I couldn't believe I was having a sexual climax in the presence of someone other than my husband. I felt both excitement and a little embarrassment. Looking back at this moment, I would never have thought that having an orgasm for another man would actually be the "beginning" of this whole journey in Tantra
Emma S 35
Auckland
And this is the joy of Cosmic Spiritual Orgasm, because you disappear for a moment. That moment is very small, but its impact is immense. For a moment you are no longer the ego, you do not think in terms of 'I', for a moment you dissolve into the oneness of the all, you become one with the whole, you pulsate with the whole. You are no longer an individual… you are no longer limited to your body. You have no limitations, for a moment you are unlimited, infinite.
That is the meaning of Cosmic Spiritual Orgasm – that your frozen energy melts, becoming one with this universe, with the trees and the stars, and the woman and the man, and the rocks – for a single moment, of course. But in THAT moment you have a kind of consciousness that is religious, that is sacred, that is one with all things. – OSHO
Unbelievable! Some are very strong and some are wonderfully subtle. In general, the more time you spend building up the energy, the more powerful the sensations. You experience “electricity” throughout your body, hands, feet and lips tingle, and there is a sense of letting go and receiving at the same time. You will feel high, euphoric and light-headed. It feels very different from a clitoral orgasm (but it can happen at the same time as a clitoral orgasm). You see a seed sprout, flowers appear on a tree somewhere, the birds are singing – the whole phenomenon is sexual. It is life manifesting in many ways. When the bird sings, it is a sexual call, an invitation. When the flower attracts butterflies and bees, it is an invitation, because the bees and butterflies bear the seeds of reproduction. Everything seems to be divided into these two polarities. And life is a rhythm between these two opposites. Repulsion and attraction, coming closer and getting far… these are the rhythms.

oh this resonates so much with me i gonna put my 5ct here.
yes i know what you mean. i've been comparing myself to others since i picked up a pencil as a kid (not kidding; i've compared myself to class mates in 1st grade and i had a super talented one); and it was as painful back then as it is nowadays i can't make myself stop.
if artist envy was a discipline, i'd be top nodge lol. i'd be winning awards at it. browsing tumblr and twitter gives me joy and so much pain at the same time. there are so many inspiring, funny, cool works but also--holy gods, when i look at some of the big fishes here in the astarion fandom pond my art looks to me like this
and what i am trying to express in a somewhat funny way can actually be extremly painful. some weeks ago i tried to paint a somewhat semi realist astarion and i figured there was something off with it all the time and i couldn't tell what it was. then funnily, shortly after i finished it, the tumblr algo would put a remarkably well executed astarion on my timeline and it felt like being hit by a truck.
does this sound silly? maybe. but i am a friend of honestly coming out about these struggles because i feel like i am not alone with them and i wanna let you know, you're not alone with these. because other artists being honest about these feelings helps me a lot.
i'm going to go a little further and tell you that i woke up with toothache next morning because i was so frustrated i probably grinded my teeth like shit over night. yes that bad :'>
but then i decided to step away from astarion's face a few days and got myself out of that horrible headspace. sometimes changing the focus helps a lot.
but there is always that feeling. "It's always the others who slay, it's not me, it's never gonna be me." but in the end of the day, these are just fucking thoughts.
when it comes to improving it is defintely necessairy to study pro artists work. but i have found a workaround here: studying the work of the top dogs of the industry. looking at their work doesn't spark jealousy or feelings of a loser within me; i simply don't have this "This could be me but it's not" feeling. they're so faaar above, they're just like the artgods for 20+ years and i'm not jealous of gods because I'm none. XD I can learn from them without gnawing my teeth and feel like poop. IDK if this trick would do it for you, but maybe it helps. people like karla ortiz, charlie bowater, min yum (bumskee), peter morbacher, nabetse zitro, samdoesarts, loish, rossdraws.... ahh there are so many; you can find many more on google when you check the most popular digital artists of our time. it also helps to study artists from the past like norman rockwell or joseph leyendecker. :)
i'm sorry for rambling so much, i could write a book about this but i think that's probably the gist of what i wanted to say :')
i hope you're going to feel better about your art 💞
I'm fightin for my life in Unity and fucking with ilustrations for my board game at the university. Next comic is very much WIP, but expect some fluff and love. Need to take a break from cum and penises.
I am a softie :c

Boo York, Boo York – Gala Ghoulfriends Luna Mothews Diary
My Boo York Adventure-logue
9/30 08:23:52
There were butterflies tickling my belly when I watched the bus pull into the terminal, but now that I’m on my way, I’m flittery with excitement! I think Pops was more nervous than I was. But that’s my Pops for ya: thinking I’m his little caterpillar while totes understanding that I have to spread my wings! Mom kept him from chewing on his collar by reminding him that it’s not like it’s on the other side of the moon - it’s an easy flight for them from my hometown in Boo Jersey. If I didn’t have my luggage weighed down with all my dance shoes and theatre makeup, I’d have flapped over myself. But I’m strangely looking forward to seeing the frights through this grimy bus window the way a wingless monster would; speeding down the Tombpike, going through the Lurkin’ Tunnel, and then hopping a subway train to Times Scare... that’s a real adventure!
Boo York, Boo York! I can hardly believe it! I’m on my way! The lights of Bloodway are luring me. I’m gonna be a star!
9/30 10:37:13
Road travel takes some getting used to - for one thing, it takes for-EVER! Not literally, but I’m still on this bus and I could have flown to the city and back many times by now. And for a second thing, the monsters on this bus are way booring! I think they think they should just sit in their seats and keep to themselves and be polite and stuff. Some of them actually scowled at me when I started convos with them, so I pulled out my guitar and started playing. That really horrified them. It was like they didn’t even want to sing along when I started giving them their assignments! The ogre in the front punctuated his lyrics with growls, but he wasn’t half bad; however, the werecat across the aisle from him was surprisingly high-pitched and breathy. I had to pull her out of her fur, but I got her harmonizing pretty well after a few verses. And once I got half-a-dozen singing, a few others joined in. Plus, a few other monsters pulled out their own instruments. Before long, I had a whole chorus going and everyone started enjoying themselves. Well, everyone except that one ghost, but he was just mad because everyone was treating him like he was invisible.
9/30 11:56:33
I made it to the city and I’m not in the subway waiting for the train. Almost there! Just a few more trains and buses to go. I’m thriller-ed by how many of my bus-mates followed me to my train platform just so we could keep jammin’, but some of them freaked when they realized they were missing their own trains and ran off/flew off/slithered off/evaporated. But that’s ok, because there are already a lot of performers down here singing and dancing and making balloon monsters. It’s spooktacular, and I haven’t even made it up to street level yet!
9/30 15:12:12
Oh, my Pod! 42nd Screech is everything I ever dreamed of! The marquees of all the shows make my antennae tingle with excitement. When I’m a singer on Bloodway, I will go from moth-ghoul to moth-greatness! I’m already having so much fun. As soon as I got off the last bus, I met some fangtastic monsters from Monster High: Draculaura, Frankie, Cleo, Deuce, Clawdeen and Operetta. Oh, and also, Nefera and Toralei. I’m very good at remembering names - I’m sure that’s a sign I’ll be good at remembering my lines too - and I love making new friends wherever I go. I think it’s called networking. Now, to find a job or three.
9/30 17:26:47
Nailed my first audition! So what if it was for a pizza place? Pizza is very popular in Boo York, and a ghoul’s gotta start somewhere. I’ve got a costume and everything - just call me Luna Motheroni. Hah! No, don’t. It pays me in *dough*! Get it? That cracked Pops up when I called him on my iCoffin to tell him his little gypsy moth is settling in nicely. I think I’ll try out some of these lines as I pass out the flyers for the Comet-special combo. Maybe if I get some laughs, I’ll try my wing at stand up too. It’s not Bloodway, but it’d still be on a stage, right?
9/30 20:14:33
Lovin’ all this “cometness.” Monsters are shooting by me like zany stars in a sparkling universe! All the food joints have crazy, comet-fied specials going on. Being a moth, I’m a huge cotton candy fan. Make it wormhole-themed, and it’s like a flame that I can’t resist. I’m also diggin’ the street music. There’s a clawesine DJ across the way. I can only catch glimpses through the crowd, but I think she’s a robot with some kind of holographic keyboard or whatever. However, I can hear her load and clear, and she’s certainly making passing out flyers more of a toe-tapper than an energy-zapper. Although, no one’s ever accused me of lacking ene......
(oh, zap! got totes distracted by a laser light beaming off the DJ ghoul)
lacking energy. Now that it’s getting dark, all of the lights are getting kinda intense. They’re so bootiful, I’m attracted to all of them. I’m fearly going to have to concentrate and maintain focus. It’s good pract..... practice for when I’m in the spotlight on Bloodway.
10/1 14:42:59
Day of the Comet, Beasties! Got a gig selling boovineers. I project my lines to the frightseers passing by and try to gain an audience, then my co-seller does the rest and rings up their order. I’ve tried singing my lines, making up rhymes, doing a little improv with the customers. I think I have a knack for this. And later I’m going to be working the fancy Comet Gala at the Museum of Unnatural History! I’ll be passing out gore d’oeuvres to some of the city’s most powerful monsters. Maybe I’ll even make some connections to theatre producers, but, if not, i’m sure I’ll have a good time. Just seeing all the different characters who have been invited will be fangtastic. Pops called to check in and when I told him everything I’ve done already and that I’ll be catering tonight, he laughed and said he thinks there must have been a mix-up at the hospital because, instead of a moth-ghoul, he seems to have raised a busy-bee. He’s kind of a moth-ball, but I love him.
10/1 19:02:40
This gala is “ah-maze-ing”! That Mouscedes’ fave word. She’s a rat-ghoul I met here. She’s some kind of princess and she’s way Upper Beast Side, but she’s so nice. I never knew there was so much to learn about cheese! I had a variety of die-lish cheese puffs on my loaded down tray - gore-gonzola, aged ghoulda, fetid - I tried them all before my shift started and they were yum! But when I offered them to Mouscedes, she asked me if they were cheeseless cheese puffs, and I told her they weren’t even puffless cheese puffs, so then we started chatting and I learned she doesn’t do cheese. I told her to stay away from my Pops then, because his sense of humor was pretty cheesy! That’s when she told me her Pops was the Rat King of Boo York! I’m not sure what that means but it sounds impressive! I had to get back to work, but Mouscedes said maybe we could get a coffincino some time. I told her I already bounce off the walls without drinking those, but I’d love to just fang out and she agreed.
10/2 00:13:17
I guess you could say things took an otherworldly turn tonight! The lights of Bloodway drew me to exactly where I needed to be, just in time to help my new friends... AND I got to be on stage with Catty Noir, one of my fave singers! It doesn’t get more fangtastic than that! I think it’s ok to say my future of stardom shows promise! Speaking of promise, we all made it back to the Museum of Unnatural History in time for the comet to arrive in Boo York, and that brought some surprises of its own. Well, one surprise anyway. And she was stellar! I’m not saying I won’t ever get homesick, but I think coming to Boo York was a bright move. I’ve only been here for 2 days and I’ve already had a few fun jobs, performed on stage, and, beast of all, made new friends. Look out world, I’m ready to fly!

Okay, so I’ve been processing this amazing show, and everything about it for a couple of hours now. I’m going to try to put them into some sort of order, but it’s probably still going to be messy and yeah.... whatever. Gonna cut again, cause it’s going to be long.
Daphne:
I was not a Daphne fan in the book. I found her very disingenuous, and quite manipulative. She manipulated Simon so much to get him to marry her. And then the dubious consent scene when he was drunk was the nail in the coffin for her...
But, the show did a really good job of rehabbing her character from the book. I actually really liked her. I found that most of the decisions she made were based on the enormous pressure she felt to have a successful debut and the find a worthy husband. She was concerned about her family’s reputation, and setting up her younger sisters for when their time came. I never really thought about that pressure while reading the book.
Simon:
I didn’t like Simon in the book either. He was way too pig-headed, I hated that he basically abandoned Daphne, it was just all around terrible.
Rege brought such a warmth to Simon’s character. I really felt for him, and while he was still quite pigheaded, HE DID NOT ABANDON HIS WIFE. He still cared enough to stay with her. HUGE IMPROVEMENT ON THE BOOK. I just loved him. I can’t really put it into words. He was wonderful even when he was being a jerk.
Anthony:
I understand what they were doing with Anthony. Some may view it as character assasination, but I understand it completely. As Siena said, Anthony is lost. He’s trying to emulate what he thought his father would do in every situation, but he just got it so wrong every time. I truly did feel like he thought he was doing what was best, but he just wasn’t listening to his family, which he needed to. I loved the back and forth with Violet. I think by the end he had started to turn the corner, and would be more like book Anthony in caring for his families’ wants and wishes.
I didn’t hate the love story with Siena. To be honest, it makes more sense to me than the book story of why he didn’t want to love his wife. He had his heart broken, and his pride wounded. The normal reaction to that is to avoid love again (I’ve been there before, I wholly sympathize). But I don’t think he was truly in love with Siena, he was infatuated with her, and I think that he liked he could let down his “head of the family” guard that he always had up. He could be himself around her without being judged. I understand why he wanted to keep being with her.
It really did set him up perfectly for the next season where he will meet Kate and his whole world will turn upside down, and he will truly understand what REAL love is. I can’t wait to watch that happen.
Benedict:
I liked the introduction to Benedict’s artist storyline. I also REALLY enjoyed the introduction to Benedict not giving a FUCK about society’s standards. It all leads quite nicely to his love story with Sophie, the lady’s maid. 😊
I also REALLY loved the Benedict/Eloise scenes. I adored them. They are so similar, and I really loved that the show explored that and that they challenged each other. It was wonderful, and I look forward to seeing more of that in the later seasons.
Eloise:
I kinda loved Eloise’s obsession with Lady Whistledown and trying to figure out who it was. I honestly thought in the carriage scene with Benedict and Madame Delacroix that she figured out that it was Penelope, good misdirect there show. Claudia really gave such a wonderful performance. I CAN’T WAIT to see Phillip being super annoyed at her talking all the time. CAN’T WAIT.
The Peneloise friendship was so wonderful as well. I hated that little part when they were fighting, but of course, they were always there for one another when they needed it. I adored it.
Colin:
I’ve already mentioned on another post that I didn’t like the Marina storyline. But now, thinking about it, maybe it wasn’t that out of character for him? We all know he kind of makes snap judgments and just goes with it, as in when he decided he wanted to marry Penelope and just essentially ran in to ask for her mother’s blessing within 5 minutes of deciding.
I did appreciate him being a sensitive soul. He really is. He would honestly do anything to help someone he cared about.
I suppose the Marina storyline sets up the LW reveal in his and Penelope’s story, as it’s much harsher knowing that Penelope was the one to reveal Marina’s pregnancy publicly. It adds a level of drama that we didn’t have in the book. He was just jealous of Pen in the book, which was a bit weak in my opinion.
Also, I feel like we can still get the “what is love” conversation with Daphne in his book. I feel like based on this experience he could be confused about what love really is, if he thought he loved Marina, but was wrong. I just really loved that scene in the book, so I hope they keep it.
Penelope:
I ADORED PENELOPE. Except for when she was a jealous bitch and basically ruined her and her sister’s future by revealing Marina’s pregnancy. That was 100% out of character, as we know Penelope wouldn’t have done anything to ruin her family. They will definitely need to do some character rehabbing for that particular plot point in the future.
But seriously, Penelope’s heartbreak absolutely shattered me. Nicola played it SO WELL. She cried, I cried. It was hard to watch. And to be honest, at the end when she was crying after looking out the window, I thought she was crying because Colin was leaving, and I completely forgot that her father had just died. Lol. I honestly believe she was crying more for Colin than her father.
Anyways, Penelope still has my heart. I just wanted to hug her for 90% of her scenes. Don’t worry Pen, your time will come.
Violet:
Violet was wonderful. I also really loved that they had Daphne tell her how terrible it was that she didn’t give a proper birds and bees speech to her prior to her marriage. I think this sets up Violet to prepare the other girls better for their marriages.
I loved that she went toe-to-toe with Anthony a lot. He needed to be put in his place, a lot, and she did. It was wonderful.
She was just in general the matriarch that we all came to love in the books. I think she really grew as a mother over the season as well.
Other thoughts:
Nigel being the villain in the first half was shocking and such a departure from the books. Not sure I loved that choice.
Cressida’s hair crowns were wild, and distracting.
I LOVE QUEEN CHARLOTTE. I NEED A SPIN OFF LIKE YESTERDAY.
I’ve said this in another post, but Prince Friedrich’s storyline was unrealistic, and yes, I know it’s fantasy world, but it still was a reach, and wasted potential Daphne/Simon development time.
I loved seeing Sir Phillip and setting up that story. Are they going to make the twins older though? Are they going to move up Eloise’s story? So many questions remain from that plot point. Also, he is hot and can GET IT. Yum.
Lady Danbury was almost as regal as the Queen, and I LOVED her women’s only gambling party. It is 100% in character, and I wanted to go to that party. I also loved the mother role she took with Simon, and boy did he need her. I’m so glad she plays a role in each book, I need more of her.
Daphne’s speech at the end of the ball in the rain made me cry so much. It was beautiful. Phoebe did such a great job with it. I loved that both she and Simon got a monologue to explain how much they care and love one another, and that they were at different times.
Overall, I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I need season two ASAP. It’s going to suck waiting another year or more for it. I’m still fairly convinced we will see a season two. They just set up so much for future seasons, I don’t see why they wouldn’t continue the show.

Dear Smut4Smut creator
Letter for the 2021 Smut 4 Smut exchange
My AO3 profile: sidewinder
Thank you for writing or creating art for me! I know I’ll be thrilled with whatever you come up with for any of my requests. (And if I babble on or have more prompts for one ship than another, don’t take that as any kind of preference. Some I just am more specific in the kinds of smutty scenarios I’m requesting/wanting at this time, but I love them all the same.)
Please consider the requested tags all the “prompt” you need if so inspired, if none of my suggested scenarios and ideas inspire you. Also, of course, feel free to combine them or use only one as you see fit!
General Likes
Non-penetrative sex (especially in first-time scenarios). I love extended kissing scenes, frottage, mutual hand jobs, characters so turned on and overwhelmed that they come from barely being touched/before they can get all their clothes off, etc.
Romantic smut more than really kinky smut (though a bit of light bondage/restraint can be fun!)
That said, I have a definite weakness for wing!kink and tentacles... where appropriate :)
Generally stoic/repressed/strong characters breaking down and needing comfort/hugs/acceptance of their vulnerabilities
Inverted relationship power dynamics - in the sense of a seemingly older and/or more powerful character actually being less experienced in sex/romantic relationships, or having more doubts & insecurities, and needing the younger/less powerful character to take the lead or reassure them.
In art - I really love all styles of fan art and just seeing how different artists interpret my favorite characters. Seriously, and that’s not just a cop-out because I’m crappy at coming up with art-specific prompts.
General Do No Wants
A/B/O dynamics, mating heats
animal abuse/death
anything related to pregnancy/childbirth
formalized BDSM relationships
non-canon gender identities and/or sexual orientations except gay/bi/pan for requested ships/characters
scat/watersports
unrequested alternative-universe scenarios such as high school/genderswap/coffee shop/etc (however, canon-divergent AUs completely fine!)
Supernatural-Castiel/Dean Winchester
Fandom-specific Do Not Wants: Bad ending/unhappy-ever-after, Sam-bashing, any suggestions of Wincest
I confess I am a very new Destiel-shipper/SPN fan, having only gotten into the show late last year (post-finale.) So while I know there are mountains of stories already written about this ship, sometimes it’s nigh impossible to dig through it all to find stories that scratch the specific fic cravings I have. Hence all the prompts/ideas for them here, some of which I’m sure have been done to death already...but please humor me :)
Long Prolonged Make-Outs
Kissing All Over
Frottage
First Time Sex is Non-Penetrative
First Time with Partner of the Same Gender
Experience - Experienced/Inexperienced
Experience - Experienced Partner Lets Inexperienced One Explore Them
Playful Sex
Morning After (Incredible Sex the night before)
I love everything about newly-human!Cas in season 9 (and Cas’s hedonistic tendencies in general). I have to imagine that, as a human, he just feels things with an intensity that angels just don’t feel, as if with human lifetimes so condensed, their senses are intensified to make up for it in a way that would be overwhelming for a hugely powerful/nearly immortal creature like an angel.
So give me any story about Cas’ exploring and fully embracing the sensual pleasures of sex (with Dean). I love Season 9 canon-divergence fics where Dean lets him stay in the bunker. Perhaps after his first taste of sex with April, Cas wants to add to his experiences by having sex with a male-bodied human/someone he deeply cares about (ie, DEAN). Dean may still be struggling with his own internalized homo/bi-phobia but it’s hard for him to resist Cas with his insatiable curiosity about how the human body works, having no filters/no taboos and just wanting to taste/touch/experience until he/they both are completely overwhelmed.
Wings as Erogenous Zones
Wing Kink
I love wings and true-form Cas as well. In fact I’m totally okay with canon-compliant, post-finale fic in Heaven if it means Dean can finally see/experience Cas’s true form (or at least glimpses/parts of it) without dying (because, you know, already dead and all that.) Otherwise, I’m always up for AUs where Dean can sense/feel/see Cas’s wings (if Cas wants him to) and they are an incredible erogenous zone for the angel. Maybe even his most powerful one.
Touching All Over
Touch-starved character overwhelmed from seemingly innocent touches
Touch-starved
Awkward First Times
Trauma Recovery
thank god you're/we're alive sex
Tender Sex with Lots of Eye Contact & Barely Repressed Feelings
Tender Sex
Shame in Sexual Desires
Room-Wrecking Sex
Reunion Sex
Characters mutually pining finally get together and have amazing sex
Desperate Sex
Sex gets paused to deal with PTSD then maybe returned to
I’ll take all the Cas-is-back, ignore-the-finale fics that are possible. Give me touch-starved Cas after his rescue from The Empty. (Dean can be fully into immediately satisfying his needs or, for angst, still struggling with/unsure of his feelings/sexuality.) It’s tender and healing, or maybe it’s explosive with all those years of pent-up desire and needs. You tell me, I love it all!
Sex While Washing Off The Blood of Their Enemies
Sex While Covered In The Blood of Their Enemies
sex under the stars
Outdoor Sex
Car Sex - on the hood of a car
Car Sex - in the back seat
Hotel Sex
tender making out in a car
sex after a long car ride
For these tags, I’m thinking canon-divergent future-fic where Dean is getting older (maybe Cas is too, if he’s lost his grace), yet they still go out on hunts together on occasion to relive the “glory days”. (Sam’s happily settled down and out of the hunting life with Eileen). They enjoy post-hunt sex in the outdoors or in/on the car, or seedy motel, reveling in the adrenaline of the kill, reaffirming their need and love for each other. Yum.
Supernatural - Endverse Castiel/Dean Winchester/Endverse Dean Winchester
Desperate Sex
Threesome - M/M/M
Threesome - Character/Crush/Another Version of Crush
Turned On By Violence
One last fuck before you die
Drugs - Drug Use
Time Travel - Sleeping with older/younger version of someone you know in your own timeline
Time Travel - Sleeping with older/younger self
Pairing-Specific DNWs: None here. Go as dark as you want, since it’s Endverse.
Um, yeah. Pretty much what the tags suggest. Dean knows its freaky as hell but maybe he catches his future self and Cas having sex and they invite him in. Maybe he sees it as a chance to be with Cas (even this very different Cas) like he can’t in his own time. Castiel is totally messed up over seeing the man he had fallen in love with (and fallen from grace for) as he had been, back then, and can’t contain himself now that he’s gone so deep into carnal/hedonistic pleasures.
The Orville - Gordon Malloy/Ed Mercer
thank god you're/we're alive sex
"We Lived" Kiss Reveals Feelings
Stranded - On Another Planet/World With No Way Home
Huddling For Warmth Leads To Sex
on the run together
Desperate Sex
One last fuck before you die
Fandom-specific Do Not Want: No Kelly-bashing.
I’d love something set in the alternative universe/timeline of “The Road Not Taken”, where the Kaylons have won, leaving Gordon and Ed on the run together. Just, any kind of desperate situation where they know they could die at any moment, so they might as well seek whatever comfort, love and tenderness they can find being with each other.
Laughter During Sex
Awkward First Times
Friends to Lovers
First Time Sex is Non-Penetrative
Frottage
Something Made Them Do It
Drugs - Experimental Substance Has Weird Sexual Side Effects
Casual Sex while Secretly Pining
Laughter During Sex
Something fun and silly (and sexy), please, using any of these tags! The show just screams out for tropey “something made them do it” scenarios, be it due to aliens, alien food or drink, whatever. Otherwise I’d love a story where they realize they do have more serious feelings for each other than their (up til then) casual relationship has allowed.
The Good Place - Michael/Eleanor Shellstrop
Tentacles - Tentacle Sex
Tentacles
Xeno - Nonhuman Partner is Ashamed of Their Body
Experience - Experienced/Inexperienced
Awkward First Times
Laughter During Sex
romantic sex
Tentacles - Gentle and Tender Tentacle Sex with Lots of Caresses and Cuddles
Fandom-specific Do Not Wants: No Chidi-bashing (but also, no Chidi/Eleanor endgame references/suggestions).
The ship/canon where I will eternally want tentacle smut! Michael seems so ashamed of his fire-squid demon form. I want him to find out that Eleanor actually finds it kind of a turn-on and would love to find a way she could...experience it. Since we know Michael can create simulations/realities (like he does in “The Trolley Problem”), maybe he can create one where Eleanor can see/experience a version of himself that won’t, you know, destroy the entire neighborhood or burn her to a crisp?
Otherwise I’m good with any kind of first-time scenario in one of Michael’s “reboots” (or later on when they’ve figured things out and are in Michael’s Neighborhood Improvement Experiment). Awkward Michael figuring out his human body’s reactions to Eleanor, them having fun and romantic sex, would definitely make my heart happy.

[TRANSLATION] Praew Magazine April 2019 issue x JUS2: time for 2
Ahgase! Right here!
Thailand's summer heat wouldn't be able to compete with hotness from the duo brothers, "JB & Yugyeom of GOT7. In the newfound unit, JUS2, they released a new single- "FoCus On Me- that makes the fans scream with interest to add this new single to their collection. In this issue, Praew took a flight to South Korea to collect photos of these 2 hotties for you before we took the chance to have a chat with them. Chatting with them in South Korea is really something. JB took the seat at the head of the table, followed by Yugyeom who greeted Praew staff around the table in Thai style with Wai and the word "Sawaddee Krub"
First of all, we would like to ask you how the leader of GOT7 and the youngest brother of the group form this new unit (a special Korean song project created by specific members), JUS2, together.
“In concerts, the two of us often sing together. So, we often talk about which kind of unit we would form next. In parties after concerts, the higher-ups would often talk about this idea as well and they thought having the two of us work together on a new song would be fun. So, the idea was developed from that point and became this duo unit today." JB replied.
"We also share similar favorite song genres, and we want to represent our characters with the music style which is totally different from GOT7. So, we took part in the production of every song in this project. We created some of the songs together, and created the others separately. For the promo song, we got help from a song writer named Cosmic Boy. We hope that everyone would love our songs." Yugyeom explained.
Can the fans expect something special from this unit?
"The first special thing that the fans can expect from us is stage performance. The second thing is the music which is going to be something that the fans have never seen from GOT7. We try to focus more on expressing emotions through the music in this unit, and we tried our best to present our characters through the MVs and the music style." JB answered.
You mentioned that you share similar favorite song genres. Which genre are they?
“I like R&B and Hip-Hop. So, I tend to go with these music styles when I write a new song. I mostly go for R&B, and mix Trap beats into the song sometimes. Do you know Trap music? It's a type of Hip-Hop which we can mix it with R&B. If you ask me who is my favorite singer, I’d say Chris Brown (R&B singer) and Travis Scott, a Hip-Hop singer" (smile). Yugyeom answered first.
“For me, I don't particularly fond of any genre. If it's a good song, then I like it. Same goes for when I sing. If I like the song and it's the song that can express my feelings with good music, then I can sing it regardless of its genre. If I have to pick my favorite singer, I'd say D'Angelo is my idol. It doesn't mean that I want to make my songs like his though (smile). I also like to listen to Toro y Moi and Kaytranada's songs lately." JB shared his thoughts.
What are the secrets or tips you use to write a song that can impress everyone?
"There's no secret in my work process. It just needs a lot of thought. I mostly find inspiration from my own experience or the stories I can find around me such as movies, songs, or books. I also have my past like everyone, my love experience or others, which I can take to present in my song. It's the same as making a movie (Scenario)." JB replied immediately
“I also get new inspiration from my surroundings as well, from my point of view on different things in my daily life. For example, when I saw a couple on the other side of the road, I would imagine what they're talking about, how happy they are. Or when I saw people living their life, I would ask myself what is their happiness, where do they find it, maybe their happiness is family or children at home."
“For me, Hmm...I don't think I do anything special. I just want to have fun with it. I may put my life experience and my imagination into the lyrics, but I mostly just create a good result if I enjoy the process and are happy with it." Yugyeom shared his thoughts.
It seems your processes are quite different.
"Actually, we share the same trait which is that we both like to work freely and have fun with it. The difference might be our standpoint. Yugyeom wouldn't think too much and tend to be easy-going, but I would focus on the point. If we have to make a decision, I make a clear decision while Yugyeom is struggled to choose" (smile). JB denied our mention.
Yugyeom gave JB a dirty look. "I’m not like that anymore! Like JB said, and as we mentioned about the way we work, you'd see that our thoughts are quite different (smile). However, this difference is what makes JB a good consultant since he can point out something I couldn't think of which is a great help to me.
"Another difference would be our preference for food. We aren't picky, but JB would prefer Korean or seafood dishes. He also likes Thai food as well. ("Tom Yum Kung is my favorite, and I also love Gaeng Keow Wan Gai" JB mentioned.) However, I would prefer western dishes and red meat. For Thai food, ld say Khao Pad is the best."
Since you've been working together for a long time, have you had any conflict?
“Never. We do have our different thoughts, but if it's my responsibility, Yugyeom would respect my decision. And if it's his responsibility, I would respect his decision as well. In terms of group decision, we mostly agree with each other. I think he has grown up. Looking at how he conducts himself nowadays, I can say that he has become more responsible. I can't tell you the detail since it's his private life though" (smile). JB said with confidence.
So, has the big brother JB done anything that makes him look like a kid?
Yugyeom looked at JB before bursting a laugh. "Sure! Everyone would say that he's like a very naughty kid when he pulls a prank."
Since you are in this industry for 7-8 years already, do you remember the goal you had on the first day you entered this industry? And how far is your progress toward it now?
"My dream is still the same, which is to be a dance singer. To this day, I still have a long way to go, for both dancing, singing, and stage performance. I think I could keep getting better if I keep practicing." Yugyeom answered clearly.
“I’ve never had a goal. I used to be a b-boy dancer and I want to have a full experience with b-boy and Hip-Hop culture, but I have never set a goal to become a famous singer. If I get famous, that's good for me. I just want to dance the way I like and write songs freely. I didn't do it to get famous. All I want is just to give my all to make good songs." JB said.
“I still think that I need to produce more quality songs. Further than that, I want to keep working on it every day. Not to repeat the same thing over and over, but to explore something new to improve myself and widen my world with the new lessons and discoveries I could find along the way."
Looks like you two have come so far. What makes you become who you are today?
"I think it's diligence. As time passes by, I grow more diligent because I often think of the past which makes me feel that I could do things better but I didn't. That makes me try my best to keep getting better at my work so that I have no regret. It's to the point that everyone sees me as a very diligent and determined person." JB replied immediately. Yugyeom agreed to JB. "Like what he said, we just try our best and keep it up every day."
Have you ever been depressed or struggled because of your work? And how do you deal with it?
"Generally, it's my physical condition like when I'm tired or lack of sleep. Sometimes, I sit alone on a sofa and ask myself, what am I doing or why do I have to do it, which I believe that everyone has moments like this no matter what kind of job they do. However, I'm quite optimistic and easy to forget. When I start asking those questions, I'd just ask them and stop thinking further (laugh). Yugyeom shares his experience.
"My problem is that I think too much. I would overthink things over and over until it sinks into my heart which makes me feel very bad to the point that I can't sleep sometimes So, I normally try to sleep it off. If I feel very down, I will go out and meet my friends so that I can forget about it. When I have something on my mind,I will not tell the others. I usually try to figure it out myself. I may tell my parents about the problem on my mind, but that's only when they ask. If they don't ask, I don't talk" JB told us seriously. “But if we talk about physical tiredness like when I’m tired from work, I will think of when we released the song Never Ever. It was very cold back then. The time we finished our work and got into a warm place was the best. This memory could help me Cure my tiredness.”
Yugyeom took this chance to conclude. "I think we just need to be positive because no matter what's the problem, we can go through it"
What about the good time? Is there any good memory you get from work?
"I love to perform on the stage. Doing concerts is the best time in my working life." Yugyeom answered first.
"I do like to do concerts like him and I like the time we release a new album as well, but I would be happier when I get good feedback from my work. When GOT7 returned from the Eyes On You World Tour and received a lot of praise from the company or when I wrote You Are and got a praise message directly from the company's president at night, I was very happy. It makes me feel like every effort I put into my work pays off the good result." JB shared his memories
May you give some advice to the people who dream to be a popular and successful singer like you please?
"First of all, you must understand yourselves the most you can. Ask yourselves if this is really the job you want. You need to think carefully because you might regret and lose your way if this job turns out different from what you expect, but if you're sure about it, then you must give it your all to make a success of your dream. Do your best every day, and don't cower before any obstacle." JB, as the group leader, gave his advice
You have visited Thailand so many times and you will pay a visit again in the near future. Is there anything in Thailand that impresses you?
“I really love Thai food, especially seafood with a lot of shrimps. For traveling, I like Phuket the most. I saw a lot of advertising about Phuket, then I travelled there and found that it's a really great place. (Yugyeom nodded and agreed with JB. "Exactly, Phuket is the best. ") Oh! There's another place I want to visit. It’s Phi Phi Islands which I heard that we need to take a boat from Phuket to go there." JB answered with a smile.
"If we talk about Thailand, I would think of Thai fans. Every time we visit Thailand, Ahgases would treat us very well. The event that impressed me the most would be during the Eyes On You World Tour in Bangkok. The fans on the 3rd floor arranged pink glow signs to form the word GOT7 Saranghae (We love GOT7)" Yugyeom answered excitedly.
"That's right. I remember that Bambam would report the number of audiences to us before the concert excitedly. He said, You know that this is Thailand, right? All the 12,000 seats are packed full, you know? (laugh) Our Thai fans treat us very warmly. If it's American or westerner fans, they would enjoy the concert with us, but Thai fans would give us their all." JB confirmed Yugyeom's opinion.
Is there anything you want to say to Thai fans? JB pleaded with the fans first. "We are JUS2, the special unit from GOT7. We hope that you would like and enjoy our new release, Focus On Me. We put our feelings into this song. And I want to thank everyone for supporting us all this time. Thailand would be really hot right now. So, please take care of your health" (smile)
"Everyone would have been waiting for us for so long. I do want to meet everyone soon as well. Please support us in unit JUS2. We made the song and created new moves for this unit ourselves and we hope that you would love it." Yugyeom pleaded the fans with cuter tone. “Rak na…“ (love you.)

How To Stop Ruining The Holidays
The holidays used to suck. My emotional pain so grated on me that I forswore holiday celebrations of all kinds once on my own.
That was before attaining enlightenment.
Now, I recognize I create my reality. Since the past is just another reality, I also re-create my past. That’s what happened this holiday season.
I’m sharing this for the many people who, like me, struggle with holidays. I know now “struggle” is optional. No matter how bad I used to feel, this year, I’m having the best Thanksgiving ever, in large part thanks to my house mate, who I’ll call Kimberly.
I’m going to relate how I transformed my holiday experience while interspersing some theory. If you want to know how all this works as a cohesive living approach I call Positively Focused, please visit my website. There you can schedule a free 30-minute 1:1 in which I’ll answer any questions at no cost to you.
How I transformed the Thanksgiving holiday in less than 15 minutes.
My house mate Kimberly is a manifestation I created after a wonderful ordeal involving previous house mates. In January I’ll tell that story.
Kimberly’s arrival fulfilled many desires. I know though that all fulfilled desires contain within them seeds for more consciousness expansion. That usually looks like “negative” experiences, although they aren’t that. Indeed, what happened Thanksgiving morning was perfect.
^^My potato au gratin. Yum!
Excitement filled our little home the night before. We bought an enormous turkey, planned several decadent side dishes and even went in together on a new projector to watch Killing Eve and Uncle Frank, Amazon’s new feel-good holiday movie.
Settled in for the night, we anticipated a wonderful morning cooking food, listening to music and generally enjoying time together.
That’s not what happened, at first
I’m an early riser. Kimberly usually wakes later. I got up eager for our culinary adventure. But as I got things ready, I noticed she had made a bag of popcorn late last night. That meant, I realized, that she might not get up early enough.
Little did I know she had planned on joining me. She even set an alarm. But something went wrong. Little did I know how “going wrong” presents enormous gifts.
For hours I relished the morning, preparing our dishes. As turkey dressing time neared though, Kimberly’s absence loomed large. Where was she?
^^My veggie medley and the au gratin all ready to eat. Ignore the sponge on the range 😂
It was a passing thought at first. Then it turned into worry. Then it turned into resentment. Kimberly wasn’t meeting my expectations, expectations I thought we shared.
That’s not her purpose though
Kimberly need not meet my expectations. No one lives to meet my expectations. When I got that a while ago, I mostly stopped resenting people when they did their own thing.
Everyone comes into reality pursuing their fulfillment, whatever that looks like. The paradox is, when a person shows up in my reality, pursuing their fulfillment, I know now they aren’t real, objective people. Instead, they reflect back to me beliefs I hold in my Belief Constellation even while they pursue individual self-fulfillment.
Other people (as well as everything else in my reality) are physicalized versions of beliefs active in me. I tested this over several years. Improving my beliefs always changed people’s behavior, especially the way they treated me.
Today, people in my life are angels. They show me active beliefs in my Moment of Becoming on their way to becoming my tangible reality. Realities I want I welcome. Realities I don’t want I know I can do something about.
^^Our turkey cooking its patutti off. LOL
Here’s what that looks like
I knew from years of Positively Focused practice that resentment and worry had nothing to do with Kimberly. Instead they indicated beliefs active that drew into my now, an experience I preferred not having.
Realizing that I did something about it. First, I looked inside to see what thoughts/beliefs I activated. After all, I had enjoyed, up to that moment, being in the kitchen by myself, making all this food my way, without having to compromise anything about what I was doing. It was fun!
My exploration showed old beliefs I created as a kid active in my now. They were about my parents, my family and holidays with them. That’s when Kimberly offered an amazing opportunity. I could clean up those old beliefs and, simultaneously, clean up how I experienced my now, create better future experiences and transform the past too!
Once I got that I stopped preparing meals. I went to my room, set a 15 minute timer, then went into deliberate focus. In that focus I realized/remembered the following:
Kimberly is a manifestation. She is not real.
Kimberly is a manifestation of my entire Belief Constellation embodied in an apparition in my evolving now consciousness.
As such, constructively using realizations represents allows stronger connections with my Personal Trinity. Reacting any other way creates unwanted futures.
Kimberly’s choices are hers and those acts aren’t about me. But make them about me when I interpret them as such!
Such a wonderful gift.
Circumstances in life do this all day every day. People, objects, experiences all are physical representations of my ongoing beliefs.
For better or worse, most people don’t know this, so they interact with their reality as though it is separate, an objective reality apart from who they are, what they are and what they’re believing.
Even among those who know physical reality is a mirror of one’s internal reality, few know what to do with that information.
Those who don’t know struggle with all kinds of mental and emotional traumas, with few remedies other than iffy mental health therapies which often stretch over years and produce scant lasting results.
Rather than taking these wonderful gifts evidenced in people, places, objects and events, for granted, humans can use them for personal transformation. Done diligently, such transformation also transforms ordinary life into the Charmed Life I share with my clients.
Seeing Kimberly as a transformational opportunity also let’s her off the hook. She can be how she’s being and in the absence of me making her wrong, she becomes the angel she is, but only when I see her from my Inner Being perspective, my Broader Perspective which sees everything in reality as blessed, perfectly unfolding and beneficial to all the Universe.
Creating awesome from ordinary
The moment I tuned into my Inner Being, the discomfort, angst and resentment lifted. It was crazy how fast and complete it was! One moment it was there, the next POOF! Totally abscent.
What flowed in its place were thoughts about how wonderful this experience turned out to be, how good realizing that felt, and how remarkable I was as a deliberate creator creating this experience. I felt compelled to voice these thoughts:
Wow, I feel much better.
This is so much better than how I felt before.
Those old beliefs soothed in my awareness placed on more empowering thoughts.
I am having a good time creating a new reality with just my awareness.
I get that my reality is my creation, including other people in my reality.
Then I started thinking about the meal I’m preparing:
This meal is going to be really good!
The au gratin smells delicious!
So do the roasted veggies!
The stuffing is going to be good too!
Then came the extraordinary convergence of reality matching my new perspective: At that exact point in time, Kimberly came bounding down the stairs. I heard her walk into the kitchen from inside my basement space. Then she sent me a text:
Trippy! The very moment I tuned into these better-feeling thoughts, my experience of Kimberly shifted. A new reality showed up including a different Kimberly!
Nevertheless I wanted to amplify how good I felt. It felt so good. These thoughts flowed next…
That’s so cool what just happened.
I shifted my reality!
And my apparitions shifted too.
What I’m discovering is so accurate.
I love my Inner Being relationship!
I felt waaaay better by now.
In that moment I returned to my original bliss. I realized too my old beliefs transformed as well: I see them now as having created experiences long ago that, I was destined to shift, in my now, my current Thanksgiving; and in doing so transforming my past holiday experiences, my present one and all future ones.
I have wonderful new memories about the holidays. Memories made more powerful because they sprung from enlightened consciousness. I know thoughts born from enlightened consciousness are far more powerful than those born out of it.
I also now know that I’ve transformed past, present and future in one fell swoop. I know it because I feel it.
What does it feel like? It feels like Joyful invincibility.

It does not seem like I last posted only two weeks ago. It seems like maybe six weeks ago. Staying at home…working from home…not leaving the house…all this seems to be playing with my sense of time. Which might not be a bad thing? I like routine, to be sure, and schedules are important so that I actually get things done, so I am so grateful to be able to work from home. But not having the same routine I’ve had for years is making me pay more attention to the detail of the overall shape of my day. It’s interesting.
In any case, I’m still on the Bread Experiment. Guys, I have baked some really awful bread. The first couple loaves were okay. The third loaf was pretty good. The fourth loaf had holes so large, not even cheese stayed on. There was more empty space than bread in that one. The fifth loaf was so bad, I think I’ve eaten maybe two slices from it, and it’s still on the counter and no one else has touched it. (It’s going out for the birds tomorrow.) And then….!
Yesterday, after a few days of No Bread and Extreme Frustration at Baking, I decided to try again. I had mixed some leaven the night before and I left it until late morning to use any of it for a new loaf. This time, I replaced 50g of AP flour with some coarse ground rye, because…I dunno. I’ve heard that rye is good at promoting starter growth, it’s got good microbial stuff. So, okay. I thought maybe this would help my dough and the finished crumb. The result was a very, very wet dough, because, I suspect, the rye didn’t absorb as much moisture as the AP flour, and I didn’t know this would happen because I am a Bread Baking Newbie. I stretched and folded, but not really according to any set schedule, just as I thought of it. And when about 7:00pm rolled around, I decided it was time to bake it. I very gently folded and shaped the loaf. OMG so carefully and gently. And because it was so very soft, I put it in a Dutch oven and ended up having to snip the dough with shears rather than score it. A razor blade won’t even do it. This dough was so wet, I was pretty sure it wasn’t going to amount to an edible loaf at all.
BEHOLD! Pretty liquid-like dough. And the resulting loaf was not at all what I had expected. This time, the holes are small enough to not let much Nutella or brie drip through!
I tell you, I was so surprised. My housemates have practically showered me with compliments.
This is today’s loaf. So, because the last one was so wet and I have not been able to score any of the loaves properly even with a razor blade, I thought about adding more flour or reducing the water. For this one, I reduced the water by 50g, and boy was it dry. But this one was started last night with leaven I had started yesterday morning. I think I managed to stretch and fold once before bed (so. dry.), and then I just put it in the fridge until this morning. Miraculously, the dough was so much nicer and Not Dry. (Not sopping wet either, though.) Then, sometime this morning late, I started stretching and folding, again without any set schedule. I think there might have been an hour or so in between S&Fs, and after four times, I just stopped. About 4:30ish, I shaped it very gently, preheated the oven, and put it in the Dutch oven. Still unable to score it – argh! I wanted a firmer loaf so I could score it! Why is it not firm enough? – I snipped with kitchen shears and put it in to bake. Today’s loaf is on the left in the picture above, compared with yesterday’s loaf on the right. It’s a little lighter, but still looks gorgeous, doesn’t it? I suspect it’ll also be tangier due to the longer proofing time (overnight). The dough certainly smelled tangy when I put it in the oven.
The moral of the story is: neglected sourdough probably results in pretty good bread.
In other news, I am still spinning that grey fleece.
I plied those two bobbins I talked about last time. I have no idea how many yards I have – I still need to measure – but there’s a lot. I’m okay with how this turned out, except there’s a lot of energy in one of the skeins, which I think means I put too much twist in the singles. Sigh. Probably it’ll be fine, but the next two bobbins I’m spinning with slightly less twist in the hopes that the resulting yarn will be a bit fluffier – maybe not too fluffy because I want to weave with it. I think. (I’m not sure, to be honest. I’m mostly considering this fleece to be practice yarn. But we’ll see.)
The spinning guild is going up to the farm in Northfield where I got this fleece to get more fleeces in May, so I need to make ROOM.
I’ve been cooking, too! I don’t know why, but I wanted Spätzle so badly, and I wanted to share it with the house. I ate Käsespätzle so often when I lived in Germany. The noodles are available for basically pennies there, but the last time I looked, the same bag of noodles is sold here for $8 at the grocery store. The sad part is that it’s dead easy to make from scratch. SO EASY.
When I was in Germany last visiting my dear friends Eva and Martin, I asked Eva if she had a good recipe for Spätzle as I hadn’t made it before, and she ended up pressing a whole book of Spätzle recipes into my hands with the promise that I’d use it. I picked up a Spätzle press at the grocery store there, too.
Yup. So easy. So delicious. I cooked up a huge amount, and it was enjoyed by all. Of course, to be more authentic to my college days, I also opened a bottle of cheap red wine, and we all had a little with supper. (It was really awful wine – I mulled it later and it’s much improved as well as being without alcohol now. Woo!) Anyone who wants to know how to make Spätzle from scratch, let me know. I can send you a recipe, and if you’re nearby, we can get together and I’ll show you how it’s done (when we’re not all under quarantine, of course). These noodles were made with AP flour and duck eggs. I think I want to try it with a little semolina flour and put some fresh herbs in too. YUM.
And of course, I am making masks so that my housemates and I are as safe as we can be when we are out shopping for groceries. The New York Times had an article on which fabrics have been shown to be adequate. The suggestion was good quality quilter’s flannel and heavy quilting cotton. I chose batik – it’s a fairly high thread count, and it seemed to be the only cotton I had that (gulp, I hate to admit it) I felt I could sacrifice. (Yes, much of my cotton is earmarked for projects.)
Flannel on the left, batik and some other quilter’s cotton on the right.
I haven’t quite finished them yet. I still have a couple with the swirly green fabric and blue flannel to sew up. I did cut elastic for them, but I’m thinking I’ll just make bias strips and make ties.
But I’m trying not to think about making masks and why too much right now. The news as well as the certain level of ignorance and not-critical thinking in people online right now have made me angry, so I’m trying hard to spend a little while concentrating on crafty stuff. Stuff that makes me happier. And Nutella. There’s not a lot that chocolate + hazelnuts cannot help.
I am prepared for so much bread in my life.
(I understand there are people who dislike hazelnuts and/or chocolate. I am not one of those people. Not even a little.)
How are you? What have you been making?
Bread, yarn, German cuisine…and Nutella. It does not seem like I last posted only two weeks ago. It seems like maybe six weeks ago.
