Synopsis: Megumi can't take it anymore. All the death, the grief, the misery he caused. He'll never forgive himself for losing you...But are you really dead?

Warnings: THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS! but more in a really decent way, like I actually think if you have no idea of the manga you don't get that these are spoilers lol, HEAVY angst but also comfort, poor Megumi is at his lowest so TW if that offends you

I know I promised you a Sukuna fic it technically is and I will serve, but this basically wrote itself so I hope you like this as well hehe

Take a deep breath in and out, calm your tingling nerves, allow your feet to walk at normal pace. You waited so long for this moment, recovered from your endless injuries Sukuna conflicted on your body and soul. It took Shoko forever to stitch you up again, to make you look like a human being again. But there you go, walking on your very own legs, to finally see the true love of your life again.

When was the last time you spoke to him? Oh, you remember it exactly.

“I’m scared. Scared of what will happen, scared about the things we’ll lost…”

“Hey, you’ll never lose me, okay? I will always stay by your side.”

Little did both of you know he’ll break that promise a few weeks later and that he won’t return to your side for over a year. How hard you fought, how desperately you tried to stand a chance against Sukuna – only to get thrown out of life yourself.

“Are you sure you can handle this, that you are fit enough?”, Yuji questioned with his hand resting on your shoulder.

“You know you don’t have to-“

“This might be the only chance to get him back, right?”

Yuji smiled at you with that pained expression on his face you saw countless times these last months.

“Yuta and I think it might work. After all, everyone knows how much you mean to him.”

You clench your hands into fists. There is no doubt in the fact that Megumi Fushiguro is still in there, that he is still the boy you know and adore with all your heart. Even if it means you’ll get attacked again, even if it might end your life, you’ll have to try.

Megumi’s body doesn’t move an inch, lifeless eyes staring into nothing but darkness. What time is it? He couldn’t care less. No, time doesn’t make any sense right now. Not when he lost everyone he loved. His family, his friends, his self-control. You.

His heart stings immediately. Oh, your gorgeous face hunts him down like nothing else. The way you talked, the way you laughed. The way you looked at him with widened eyes when your lifeless body fell to the ground, the way your blood pooled around his brown shoes.

Why? Why didn’t you listen to him when he told you earlier to stay away from Sukuna? Why did you decide to show up anyway, without Yuji or Yuta by your side? There was absolutely nothing he could do to save you.

Just like his sister.

Just like Gojo-sensei.

Just like everyone else.

It seems unreal to him. Unreal that he’s the one still alive, that all these people lost their lives through his very own hands. Oh, he’ll never forget the way you cared for his sister, your dumb inside jokes with Gojo. He’ll never forget the way you held his hand that one night, how your soft smile outshone the heavy moonlight.

“Don’t worry Megumi, everything will turn out alright eventually!”

Oh, how wrong you were. How awful these words make his guts turn, how desperately he wants to close his eyes forever.

No, you didn’t deserve your fate. Everyone didn’t deserve their fates. But he? He deserves nothing but death.

Nothing but emptiness.

Nothing but darkness.

“Megumi.”

Is he hallucinating again? Is your voice hunting him down like it always does? It sounds so clear, near to reach. As if he could open his eyes, stretch out his hands and-

“Megumi.”

Again.

His skin suddenly starts to feel warm, as if someone touches his arm. Impossible, no one should be here, it’s just him in this prison that never ends-

“Hey, I’m here. It’s me, (y/n).”

“(y/n)?”

That name. That gorgeous name he adores to the moon and back, that last name that saved him from giving up until you died in front of his eyes.

“Hey, it’s been a while.”

“You’re dead.”

That voice sounds so unknown, so far away that you flinch for a second. Is this really Megumi and not just a cheap copy of him? You swallow hard, desperately try to contain your emotions. Oh, how much you longed for this moment, to finally hold the love of your life again. But on the other hand, you can’t take the sight in front of you. Him laying curled up on the cold floor, face showing absolutely no emotion.

You shake your head. No, you have to be strong right now. If not for yourself, then for him.

“Open your eyes, silly. I’m right here”, you reply.

Gently, you cup his cheek with your hand the way he always secretly adored. This just has to work, you need to get him back.

He hesitates for a moment, breath stuck in his throat. Is this really you or just his own sorrow reminding him of the things he’s done? But what…

He opens his eyes.

His gaze finds yours.

Time stands still.

“I missed you, cutie patootie.”

Reality hits him with full force. This might be a cruel trick, a hallucination. But that nickname was always a little secret between both of you, how you called him in private. No one except you knows about it. No one except you looks at him with so much love gleaming in their eyes. No one except…

“(y/n)”, he breathes out.

“I know you think I’m dead but…I made it, Megumi. I never gave up hope to see you again.”

You can’t hold back the waterfall of tears that now streams down your cheeks, eyes holding onto his gorgeous face for dear life, afraid to lose him all over again.

“(y/n).”

And for the first time since you know him, his eyes get watery to the point where they overflow with tears, the salty stream getting caught in your hands.

“(y/n)”, he whimpers again.

“Don’t feel sorry for what happened. It wasn’t you but him. I don’t blame you”, you blurt out immediately.

“(y/n)!”

Faster than you’re able to comprehend what’s happening, he wraps his longing arms around you, presses you so close that your lungs refuse their service for a second.

“I thought you’re dead. I thought…I killed you.”

The sheer agony in his voice forms a painful lump in your throat. Oh poor Megumi…He doesn’t deserve to feel this way, doesn’t deserve to hold all these horrible memories. How much you’d wish you could simply take his pain away, could make him forget what happened.

But all you’re able to do is holding him tightly.

“You would never harm a single hair on my body-“

“But I did!”, he screams.

“I hurt you! I almost killed you! Just like Gojo-sensei, just like Tsumiki!”

His voice breaks, a dry whimper escapes his lips.

“I…I can’t do this anymore. I can’t hurt another soul. I don’t wanna li-“

“Stop right there.”

Desperately, you force him to look into your reddened eyes.

“This wasn’t you, Megumi. Did you hear me? No one ever thought it was you. We loved you, we missed you, we want you back. When Shoko stitched me up, all I was able to think about was you. Fuck that shitty jujutsu world we’re living in, fuck all the curses and monsters and humans. Think about us, Megumi. Think about what you told me back then, that you’ll always stay by my side. Because that’s were I need you, this is why I love you more than anything else. In my eyes, you’ll never be anything apart from Megumi Fushiguro!”

Without thinking twice, you press your despairing lips against his, taste the salty tears of him and you that mixed on each other’s faces. His arms wrap themselves around your back and waist, hold you into place while you get lost against the lips you know so well but yet not at all. Megumi just needs to come back to you, needs to find his willpower again.

“I need you”, you mutter against his mouth.

“I love you.”

The agony radiating from his voice becomes almost unbearable, lets you hold onto his neck even tighter. No, Megumi didn’t deserve what happened to him. He didn’t deserve to see his loved ones die right before his eyes. He didn’t deserve all the things he’s been through. But this right here, this is just right.

This is a reason to hold on, right?

“Promise me you won’t give up”, you urge.

“Promise me you’ll give yourself the chance to heal, that you’ll stand with me and Yuji and the others. Just promise that you’ll come back.”

“I swore to myself not to be a burden to this world anymore, that I’m done with my pathetic life, that I deserve to die. But you’re alive, you’re lying in my arms…And now I’m too selfish to do that.”

Again, he caresses your lips with his in the gentlest way while his arms hold you in place.

“If I’m not able to look at myself in the mirror, I’m able to look at you.”

Thanks to @goatyuuji for pointing out the finger showed in 266 is not Sukuna's. It's Yuji's left ring finger! (I'll say possibly because I know some may argue no, but I believe it is.)

Okay, commonly, the ring finger is of course, is where one would wear their ring. Significantly, for the one you love. It's the marriage finger, the finger of love and commitment.

So we know that love is important here to some of the characters and it's something that Yuji gave up this particular finger. Keep in mind, he's trying to save Megumi.

Yeah, you see that, right?

Also, in Japan and I may be wrong, but the ring finger is also called kusuri-yubi or "medicine finger".

Folks... Yuji's last name? Itadori? It's the name of a medical herb, also known as the Japanese knotweed or "tiger cane/staff".

That finger? It's known as the cleanest finger and used to stir and apply medicines.

Yuji gave up one of his most pure fingers to defeat Sukuna and save Megumi.

EDIT: I forgot to add this, but I'm thinking if that is Yuji's finger I figured it changed to look like that, it became a Cursed Object. I mean, when you look at Sukuna's fingers, they're normal. What if that's what happens when a finger becomes a Cursed Object?

Ok, lets start with just some basic information on our boy

Hes in the Alpha Beta Omega frat, or the ABO frat. The entire Frat is very quick to point out they’ve been around longer than ABO when you bring it up, minus Ryomen. 

He just tells you he’s an Alpha and asks if you’re trying to be his Omega. It normally gets whatever reaction he wants

He’s majoring in business against his will (Remember this: It will come up) with a minor in he’s really about: History

If taking over his fathers very lucrative business (Again: This will come back up later) fails, he wants to be a history teacher.

He often bonds with Nanami over hating their shared major and being annoyed with Gojo and Geto making out in the most inconvenient places.

He sells drugs on the side to supplement his income, but nothing harder than weed because “Weeds not even a drug when you think about it.”

Is known for being the biggest manslut in the manslut frat. But hey, at least he gets tested regularly. 

Ok, so now I want to start with a little bit of his background because it informs a lot about how I characterize him.

He’s Yuji’s older brother by about 4 years. Both of them look almost exactly like their father. The man really said Ctrl C, Ctrl V, Ctrl V. 

Their father left when they were 7 and 3 respectively. Yuji doesn’t remember, but Ryomen very clearly remembers how horrible their father was to their mother. To him, it was a relief when that asshole finally abandoned the family for good.

The family moved in with their Grandpa, who was one of the very old school “I will only tell my kids I love them on my death bed” types. He also died when the boys were only 13 and 9.

Meaning our boy never really had a good role model for how to perform masculinity, and now that he’s an adult he finds himself pretending to be the type of man media told him he was supposed to be. Somewhere between Tyler Durden and Joey Tribbiani. He doesn’t think he’s very good at this performance. 

The moment he turned 16, he started getting piercings to try and look less like his dad. The moment he turned 18 he got his tattoos to really separate himself from his father. Yuji thinks it’s insane, but Ryomen thinks it’s worth it to be able to look in the mirror without wanting to punch it.

His father reached out to him his senior year of high school. He offered to pay for 100% of Sukuna’s college tuition, as long as he majored in business and took over the “family” company once he graduated.

Yea, turns out dear old dads new wife couldn’t conceive, and his smoking had finally caught up with him in the form of lung cancer. Faced with an inevitable death, he was desperate for an heir. 

Ryomen may have despised his father with everything in his being, but he realized how stupid it would be to throw away not only a free education, but also a guaranteed career. So he agreed.

OKAY now that that’s outta the way, let’s get into how he is in a relationship 😈

You are his first real relationship. He’s had “relationships” that lasted officially about 2 weeks at the longest. He’s had a plethora of situationships where he’d make promises he had no intention to keep. But as far as actually, serious, relationships you’re number one. 

And genuinely this new emotion kinda scares the shit out of him. The first time he got love pangs he thought he was having a panic attack, the first time you brushed him off he felt like he shattered. this shit sucks yo, no wonder the Greeks thought it was a mental illness.

He has no idea how to properly love someone, he’s winging this shit: Doing everything entirely based on vibes

In his past “relationships” the moment conflict arose, he would leave. He doesn’t want to do that to you though, so head it is.

I’m not joking, the moment you have an issue he’s taking you to bed to try and distract you. And he’s always shocked when you still want to, ya know, communicate about issues you’re having after the fact. And he’s always even more shocked when you don’t just leave the moment conflict arises. 

Did I mention he has no real concept of how healthy relationships work?

He’s trying though. He’s trying harder to make this work than he’s trying to keep his grades up. 

Often catches himself flirting with other girls without even realizing it, it’s just second nature to him. He’ll always disengage the moment he realizes

Oh he’s jealous. Oh he’s so jealous. He sees you just talking to another guy and he’s spiraling in his head. He’s immediately getting involved and planting hickies on your neck right in front of whoever you’re talking to, because you’re his god damn it.

As such he loves to buy you jewelry. His dad’s got fuck you money, and he plans to spend it all on you. His current favorite thing to see you wear it a dainty, golden chain, with a ruby encrustedfrat b R hanging from it. It looked gorgeous on you, and marked you as undeniably his. 

Suguru has 1000% had to talk him out of getting a tattoo of your name, this man is down so unbelievably bad. He’s never really been in love before, and now that he’s feeling it he’s overwhelmed by it.

This man really thought he was above getting pussy drunk until he hooked up with you. Now he realizes he’s is Not. At. All immune to it, and is actually quite prone to it!

Ultimately, his goal is to marry you after graduation, even though his fraternity brothers are highly against it. Not because they don’t like you, quite the contrary, they love you! But they all know that marrying your first love probably isn’t the move, and that the two of you have a lot of problems to work through. They want him to at least wait a few years before popping the question.

Still, every once in awhile he catches himself looking at rings and day dreaming about the future.

PART TWO

Okay I lowkey hate this but I'll keep updating it until I finish the show and can come up with a better storyline🙏

Its been a little while since you last met gojo and medumi, during that time you'd moved into the jujutsu high dorms after being forcefully evicted (literally thrown out by your landlord) and secured a position as yuji itadoris mentor. You see, the real reason gojo had wanted you to come back to the school was so that you could help to train and manage Sukunas vessel, when you were first told the news you actually laughed in gojos face, there was really no way sukuna was living inside a 16 year old boy right?

"Just this way" gojo said, smiling as he led you down a set of stairs and into a basement. "You see a while ago sukuna ripped out yujis heart, but he later repaired it" your eyes widen a little at this news, sukuna saved someone? That's actually laughable "your joking right? Why would sukuna ever help anyone but himself?" Your question was rhetorical obviously but gojo replied nonetheless. "Because he needs a vessel now, if he wanted to he could've let yuji die and just waited for someone else to eat one of his fingers." "He ate his fin-" your words were cut off as you reach the bottom of the stairs and gojo slams open the door to the basement. "We're back!" He says with a smile as he beckons yuji to step forward to meet you, however the only thing he's greeted with is your Face that was contorted into absolute disgust. "No way you ate someone's mumified finger.." were your first words to him as he stared at you with wide unblinking eyes.

After that unfortunate first impression gojo introduced you and explained why yuji was hidden down here in the fist place. "So the people in charge want him dead? Thats messed up" you said with crossed arms as you sat on the couch next to gojo and yuji, some weird old movie playing in the background. "Indeed, thats why I need you to look after him for me, not only dose he need help controlling sukuna but he's being targeted too" gojo explains with a stern expression, the tension in the air was thick as you processed the gravity of this situation, however yuji was still struggling to understand. "Gojo who is this weird lady? How's she gonna help with sukuna??" he whispers to gojo as he covers his mouth to prevent you from hearing, however it didn't really change anything as he was basically still talking at a normal volume. "[Name] is a jujutsu sorcerer, well kind of, she's technically still a student since she never finished her training" gojo 'whispers' back to yuji.

You cleared your throat as you turned to look at them with an unimpressed expression before sighing and explaining why gojo wanted you specifically to help him. "My cursed technique, its called spiritual control, you see these tattoos? They were made from the ashes of a cursed spirit, and with my technique I can manipulate them" you explain briefly as you point to your serpentine body art and a look of shock graces yujis face "so.. your a vessel to??" He asks with impossibly wide eyes before smiling widley and grasping your hands "thank you so much for coming to help me! I was starting to think people would only ever think of me as sukunas vessel! But if your also a vessel and a jujutsu sorcerer then it's not that bad right?" He asks hopefully, poor kid, I bet some people don't even think of him as a person anymore. Just sukunas host. "Hold on now yuji, don't forget the cursed spirit who lives inside you is he king of curses, despite being similar you two still have many differences" gojo says as yuji nods in understanding and let's go of your hands to cross them over his chest "I guess I'll just have to work harder then! To become a sorcerer and to let people know they can trust me." Your heart clenches at the sentiment, this poor kid still thinks he'll live long enough to become a sorcerer. Just the thought of his kind mentality being crushed by the countless perils he will endure is enough to make you feel ill. But he doesn't need to worry, your here now, and your here to stay.

After your first meeting with itadori you were informed of the sisters school event which would be happening soon, and that you wouldn't be directly introduced to the other students until the day it began. Well that was the plan anyway, you were walking up to your sleeping quarters when that same boy from when you first saw gojo stepped inront of you. "Its you, why are you here?" He asks with a stern expression, he doesn't seem too pleased to have you living near him.

Scenario:

After losing to Sukuna and after seeing all his friends in the “afterlife”. Gojo decides to go north and be “reincarnated” into a new world. little did he know this new life would be everything he’s ever wanted.

Gojo POV:

I wake up my head pounding I sit up in a complete daze. Wait-… where the hell am I and why is my sight so different? I look around it looks like a normal bedroom did I survive my fight with Sukuna? Was me dying just a dream? I get up and go over to the mirror on the other side of the room. I’m surprised to see myself looking back but with a giant bandaid wrapped around my head. It’s me but my six eyes ability it’s gone. No not just that all My powers there gone.

“Daddy! You’re awake!”. My eyes widen when a little girl who looks exactly like me, runs up to me wrapping her arms around my lower leg. “Mommy wants you out in the kitchen she made breakfast and you need your medicine”. “O-okay? Lead the way, kid”. The little girl takes my arm and brings me out into the massive home. As we enter the kitchen my eyes widen once again when I see an unbelievably beautiful woman behind the counter. “Oh Toru, You’re awake! Here sweetie your head is still injured sit down”. She walks over pulling a chair out for me at the expensive-looking dining table. I sit down across from a teenage girl who has brown hair wait isn’t that Megumi’s sister? is this some kind of trick? The little girl from earlier sits beside me at the table climbing up onto the chair. she turns back to her mother. “Mommy can I get my art stuff please”. “Sure baby, hold on”. “Mom, I can get it for you”. “no it’s fine Tsumiki I got it, oh and breakfast is done”. I watch as the pretty woman turns off the stove holding a plate full of food. I also watch as she goes into a kitchen door pulling out a notebook and some markers.

She walks back over to the table she puts the delicious-looking breakfast in front of Tsumiki. While also handing the notebook and the markers to the little girl. “Miyoko, are your brothers awake?”. “I don’t know if Kenshi or Megumi are awake Mommy I’m sorry. I think I saw Megumi’s light on this morning”. the woman sighs hold on I’ll go get your brothers.

Megumi is here?! I suddenly feel something soft touch my bare foot I jump up immediately. Just to see it’s a cat.

Miyoko and Tsumiki laugh at me. “Daddy, it’s just kyo”. My head starts to pound again probably from the sudden movement this dream is so strange. Tsumiki must take notice. “Dad, are you okay?”. “Y-yeah I think so?”.

I sit back down when the beautiful woman, Megumi who is not possessed by sukuna, and another teenage boy who also looks exactly like me enter the room.

“alright, Kenshi, Megumi remember after school you have to help take care of the yard the gardeners are off on vacation this week. You guys will get your extra allowance after me and your father talk about prices”.

I watch as the pretty woman grabs two more plates of food from the counter, and the two boys also sit at the table. “Ah! Mom me and Megumi were wondering if we could get about 300$ and get paid together for the work”. “Oh, and why is that”. “Well, Yuji and the other guys wanted to go to a concert together in about a month, and the tickets are kinda expensive”. The pretty woman walks over putting the food in front of the two of them. “A concert? I don’t know concerts are pretty dangerous what do you think toru?”. “Umm.. uh sure, whatever”. Kenshi cheers. “YES!~ you’re the best dad!”. the pretty woman sighs. “Gojo do you want a full breakfast? Or Do you not feel like eating? Like yesterday”. “No, I’m pretty hungry I guess”. We all eat together I watch as everyone chats casually everything seems so strangely relaxed I’m not used to it.

We all go out into the living room area I sit on the couch as I Watch as all the children get ready to leave. “Be careful with your little sister all of you watch her, and Miyoko you make sure to hold onto Megumi’s hand until you get on the bus got it?”. “Yes, mommy”. “Don’t worry I’ll come and get you from kindergarten later”. She kisses the little girl's forehead. “Bye everyone”. A loud cry of bye mom’s echo throughout the living room as they all leave out the door. The pretty woman sighs loudly slamming herself onto the couch next to me laying her head against my shoulder yawning. “Do you feel up to watching TV together or do you want to go rest more? I have your pain medicine ready-“.

I grab the woman’s shoulders looking her directly in the eyes. “Who the hell are you and what is this place”. “W-what? Gojo?”. “This is an illusion isn’t it you’re sukuna”. The woman starts to tremble. “N-no I don’t know what you’re talking about you’re scaring me”. “Good acting now get me out of this illusion!”. I start to shake the woman and she frantically gets out of my grip she starts crying a bit. “H-hold on! Let me call Shoko maybe she can help just calm down please”. I get up grabbing the woman again by her arms. “You’re not going anywhere-”. Just then I hear the front door open. “Hey, Satoru! -“. My eyes widen as I see “geto” aka kenjaku. “Hey, Satoru what the hell are you doing? To y/n”. He walks over towards us. “Heh you have some nerve showing up in front of me this illusion it’s your doing isn’t it”. So I volunteered to take them in and they’ve been with us since. I don’t care what anyone else says to me they’re my children”. “What about their mothers?”. “I don’t know”. We pull up to what I assume to be the elementary school.

I watch as y/n brings out Miyoko I smile a bit as she skips along with her mother. y/n opens the car door. “Daddy! Hi”. “Hey, kid”. I Watch as y/n helps miyoko into her car seat. “Mr. Kento let me make you something since you still aren’t feeling too good”. I let out a slight laugh no way Nanami is her teacher?! I take the picture from Miyoko unrolling it. “Oh, it’s a sparkly fish”. “Oh, I thought you’d like the sparkles”. “No I don’t like them I love them thank you miyoko it’s beautiful”. Bringing back the sunshine!

Life had put Yuji Itadori through the ringer. It was really true what they say, the sorcerer life will change you in ways you've never expected. No matter what happens in life Yuji always had a smile on his face, even when he was quiet his energy still radiated the warmth of the sun. He is a good guy, anyone can see that just by looking at him. He's also incredibly strong in every aspect. The first to comfort everyone, and the last to finish the fights for everyone. He was respected and loved by everyone around him. Even his enemies could respect how naturally gifted he is.

But he was tired. Yuji had his breaking point and still wasn't fully recovered. He was okay. he just felt empty. He didn't feel like himself. He had been feeling like that for a while now. So much has happened in his life, so fast, too, and he just needed to process. Having Sukuna in his ear didn't help him either, but that's a story for another day. Let's just say jujutsu high has been extra gloomy without their sunshine. Everyone was thrown off balance. However, it hit Megumi especially hard. Megumi Fushiguro does not like feeling off! If things were off, he felt like he couldn't function properly, and it would irriate him to no end. It was like a constant nagging at his heart every time he looked at Yuji. He wanted to do something to help, anything but every idea he tried was a dead end. He knew that Yuji just needed to feel and process, which is absolutely valid, but he couldn't live without that warmth.

It has been long enough now. Megumi was going to get him back, no matter what it took. The pinkette was in his dorm room, next door to Megumi's, rotting away, playing some video game on his phone that he wasn't actually paying attention to. After grabbing some supplies he needed the ravenette took a deep breath and softly knocked on Yuji's door.

"Itadori?" He spoke gently, waiting for an answer.

"Come in."

Megumi's heart sank. The tone in his voice sounded so broken. No normal person could tell that from just two words, but Megumi was different. He knows Yuji, truly knows him.

He shook it off and entered with his stuff, Yuji didn't seem to notice that either considering he wasn't immediately bombard with questions about what he was hiding inside the tiny cardboard box. Yuji just stared at him, moving his head gently, forcing a small smile on his face.

"Drop the fake smile, you don't have to bullshit your feelings around me..." Megumi's voice was stren but calming. Yuji's body dropped gently in an exhale, closing his eyes. He felt so weak and Yuji hated that feeling, but he couldn't shake it no matter what he tried.

"What's up?" Yuji managed to muster out two words as Megumi put the box on the bed next to Yuji. Looking him in the eyes he exclaimed "I know you need to process but I can't function when you're not yourself. So I'm getting Yuji back." This finally caught the vessels attention.

He cocked an eyebrow at the shikigami user "Huh?" Yuji blinked looking down at the box before looking back at Megumi "I'm sorry Megumi, I'm really trying...nothing's working...I think I'm just going to be sad for awhile..."

Megumi nodded "and I'm not dismissing that, you can feel whatever you need to feel, but I won't let you sit here and do nothing, I'm going to try cheering you up, my way, and you're going to like it. Got it?"

Yuji rolled his eyes gently "Good luck"

Megumi just smirked "Trust me, this method has your name written all over it. And the best part is, you don't have to lift a finger, you can just relax and let me take care of you"

This was the first time in a long time Yuji felt something, his heart warmed up a bit and this caused Yuji's eyes to open a little wider, now curious on what this great plan was to cheer him up again.

"Look in the box." Megumi's smirk grew as Yuji slowly opened the cardboard box that was now sitting on his lap. He expected food or something, so he was surprised when he looked down to reveal two different feathers and some fake rope. His eyes widened as he blinked.

"Fushiguro...are you gonna...?" Yuji couldn't even finish his sentence.

"Tickle you? Hell yeah, I am. You need a pick me up, and I figured this would be the best thing for you. I'm gonna tickle you out of that damn head of yours. " Megumi smirk grew even more, if that was even possible.

Yuji face got a little red from embarrassment and joy. Megumi really did know him better then he knew himself. "But um...what's with the rope?"

Megumi chuckled a little "That was going to be used to tie your arms up, if you're comfortable with that. I wanted you to have a choice"

Yuji giggled a little, already starting to feel a little better. "I wouldn't mind this time, I just need to get out of my head"

"Arms up"

You didn't have to tell Yuji twice! He gently put his arms up, thankful that he was in a tank top. Megumi tied his wrists up gently to the bed frame. "Ready?" He smiled as he opened the box again to get the feathers out.

"Dark grey, or white and black?" Yuji blushed a bit looking at them. "The second one!" He spoke confidently as Megumi nodded and put the other one down. Setting the box to the side, sitting on his knees to face him properly.

"I'm gonna get you Yujiii" Megumi wasn't normally too playful but he is comfortable with Yuji and knows that this is what he needs right now. The poor angel was already giggling up a storm and nothing has touched him yet.

Fushiguro smirked again before gently swiping the feather under his arm. Yuji squealed and yolted out of pure instinct. Megumi smiled, admiring the reactions. "Did someone forget how ticklish he is?~" Megumi teased as he took the feather and moved it from the top of his wrist, passed his elbow, all the way down until he reached his underarm again.

Yuji didn't even try to hold in his reactions. The Pinkette's giggles grew the closer and closer Megumi got to his underarm before he let his genuine laughter peak through.

"MehehegumiIIHIHIHI!-" Yuji placed his head back on the bedframe as he laughed. Megumi's smile grew more and more at this. Slowly moving the feather down to slide over his ribs.

"PfFt- HeHehey!" Megumi tilted his head at him and hummed "Hmm?"

Yuji moved his torso out of instinct trying to get away. Megumi raised an eyebrow at this and smirked "Where do you think you're going?" He used his fingers to gently tickle the other side of Yuji's ribs.

"AH!" Yuji squeaked at the sensation and laughed again finding it hard now to escape, but he didn't really want to escape.

Megumi giggled gently "Does it tickle Itadori?" Yuji laughed through his words. "You alreheheady! Knohow! That! Prohohoblem chihiLD- GAH! HAHAHA NOHOHO!" Megumi gave him a fake grumpy face at the nickname and moved his fingers up to wiggle in his underarms.

"Mouth" Megumi warned before stopping and moving the feather around his neck and ears. "Guhuhumi!" Megumi smirked again "Yes?" Yuji giggled like a little kid. "Ihihit tickles!" Megumi nodded "Good. That's the point"

Megumi kept up the gentle strokes as Yuji giggled so much he snorted. This caused Megumi to break out into laughter "THAT WAS GOLD! JUST WAIT UNTIL I TELL GOJO!" Yuji whined through his laughter "Tell hihihim! And you're so deHEHEAD- MEHEHEGUMIIIHIHIHI!" The feather was forgotten as Megumi used both hands to gently squeeze his ticklish hips. His thumbs kneading into the bones gently. Yuji jumped and wiggled as he let his beautiful laughter flow freely.

"NAHAHA! NOHOHOT THAHAHAT!" He squeaked and laughed, trying to get away, but it was no use. Megumi giggled gently as his voice got more teasy. "Oh yes that~" he continued "Tickle Tickle Tickleee~" He skittered one hand up his ribs and sides as the other kept up the gentle squeezes on his hips.

Yuji's face got as pink as his hair as he let himself laugh. The sensation taking over his thought process. "NOhOhoO! TeHeAsinG!" He laughed and gently kicked the bed. Megumi smirked picking up the feather and before circling his bellybutton. "Nohoho nonono dohohon't!-"

"Im sorry Itadori, it looks like the feather is a cursed object, it's moving on its own. I have no say in this" He pretended to be serious which only made Yuji laugh more.

"Noho ihihit's nohot! I don't feheheel any cursed enerGY-HEHE MEHEHEGUMIIIHIHIHI!-" The feather dipped into his bellybutton as he arched gently and threw his head back laughing.

"What's the matter Yuji? Don't tell me this is tickling you" He smiled

"IHIHIT TIHIHICKLES! IHIHIT TIHIHICKLES MEGUMI PLEHEHEASE!"

"I told you it's got a mind of its own!"

After a few more minutes, Megumi finally let up and untied him. As Yuji caught his breath with a big smile gracing his features.

Megumi's mission was accomplished. He brought the sunshine back.

"Thank you....Fushiguro"

Okay, so I know that we're all mad at Gege, and for good reason. But I don't agree with the fandom that he's wasting good characters by killing them off.

JJK is an allegory for the terrible pressure placed on people to be the best, or to be useful, which makes people stop seeing them as a fellow humans. And the characters in the show represent that.

For example, Gojo is labelled as the strongest, and as such, no one sees him as a person other than Geto. They always either put him on a pedestal or find him to be a nuisance that they deal with because he's useful to jujutsu society, such as the jujutsu society elders. Even in death his body is used as a tool.

In Geto's case, the honor of being powerful enough to save humanity from curses was dashed because he saw how the non-sorcerers they were trying to save treated them, in spite of the sorcerers facing heavy casualties. Jujutsu society didn't even send someone to check up on him, and he just spirals after the failed mission. After realising that this society didn't care about him, he tries to create a society that does care about sorcerers, at the cost of normal people, the same people who didn't care about him.

Yuta was sentenced to death because of the dangerous curse that was attached to him. Jujutsu society dehumanized him because of factors that he cannot control, same with Yuji.

Gojo sees this and realized that he can't let them be dehumanized like Geto was, gotten rid of if they were deemed pests or used until they were broken if they were deemed useful.

Yuta himself adopts this view in this chapter, risking his life so that they can defeat Sukuna. Yuji also adopts this mentality when he declares himself a cog in the machine that kills curses.

Hakari, Maki, and Noritoshi, are all an exception to this rule, as Hakari refused to let himself be merely a tool and have things decided for him. He enjoys passion and passionate people, while jujutsu society may admire his cursed technique, they don't respect him as a person. Maki and Noritoshi only achieved their full ability after cutting ties with their respective clans.

The Zenins viewed Maki as useless as she was both a woman and had no Cursed Energy. While the Kamo clan only viewed Noritoshi as useful for being male and inheriting a powerful cursed technique.

Megumi had a lot of potential with the ten shadows technique but when he gave up, the elders would have had him executed in order to kill Sukuna.

Sukuna himself stands in opposition to all of this, seeing everyone as equally worthless in a world where the strong have every right to make the weak suffer. In this sense, him and jujutsu society share the common view that only strength matters.

Yuji and the rest of Gojo's students stand in contrast to both Sukuna and jjk society here. They spend more time trying to save Megumi, because they see him as their friend. They spend more time protecting the people close to them not out of some sense of duty or usefulness, but because they genuinely care about each other.

Yuta takes Gojo's body not out of a sense of duty to kill Sukuna, but because he cares about Gojo and doesn't want his sacrifice to be in vain. Gojo died not by doing his duty, but by trying to care for his students.

Gege is saying that following orders and doing your duty until you burn yourself out isn't good, and neither is making yourself out to be better than everyone else because you think that the world revolves around the logic of "survival of the fittest". Which is Sukuna's line of thinking.

I think the story is going to end with only Yuji surviving and him beating Sukuna not because he's just a cog in jujutsu society, but because he's Yuji and he loves his friends and family.

The curse of "die surrounded by the people you love" from his grandfather is reversed as Yuji learns to live for the people he loved.

He's saying that people work best together, but not when they are forced to for some nebulous idea of duty or justice, but because of simply caring about each other.

That's why Gege made us care about these characters in the first place, so that we can fully understand the injustice that these characters are going through.

I’m sorry but this little pouty look he’s got going on here is just cracking me up. Sukuna why are you being so cute???

For a long time now I’ve guessed that Sukuna will end up back in Yuji’s body, but contained. I still feel that way.

Also Rika will use a binding vow to revive Yuta’s body in exchange for her life but it’s got Gojo’s brain in it so he’s alive inside Yuta. Mei Mei’s brother switches their bodies and they’re back to normal. Okay that’s not a real prediction it’s ridiculous but it would be fun. And it makes as much sense as anything else going on in the manga (seriously was there any narrative point to Yuta taking Gojo’s body aside from shock value? It had basically no impact on the actual story/fight).

While Ryomen Sukuna, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki belong to Jujtusu Kaisen but also to me due to rping them as muses. It was another normal day here at jujutsu high school, seeing that everything was peaceful and calm. That nothing could ruin such a nice peaceful....

That's when a sudden explosion was heard followed by someone screaming as they were free falling to crash into the ground twitching.

"Owwwwwww..." Megumi winces from the hard landing but he sits up holding his head. "Damn it..she hits really-" that's when someone else lands on him showing another one who was dizzy.

"I'm good.....I'm seeing stars though.." Kisho Hashimoto a.k.a. Daichi Phoen-X was dizzy with stars over his head from the powerful attack he was hit with.

"Kisho, you okay?" Megumi asked but Daichi was still seeing stars but he tries to get up.

"I'm good, I'm good I'm...hold on a sec.." he shook his head but was still seeing stars. "Y..Yeah, I'm good..." he said but he heard chirping hearing Eito flying over to see if he was okay.

"Don't worry Eito I'm alright! I will admit she packs a punch. Taz was not lying about her power!" he said to Eito.....if he was facing the right way and not talking to a tree.

"Uhhhhh.." Megumi sweatdrops and Eito showing a deadpanned expression. Yeah, he still was seeing stars from that hit. Shaking his head, he goes to try shaking him out of it.

"Kisho, snap out of it! Were still in training. We need to get back to the others. Besides, we still have to-" that's when he heard more explosions near the school.

He sweatdrops not expecting this training to be like this but it wall Gojo's idea though.....

~~~~Flashback to this morning~~~~~~

"Morning my students! I hope your ready for today's training session!" Gojo smiled more happier than he would that leaves the class curious.

"Uhhh we are Gojo Sensei but..what's the training about this time?" Taz asked with a hand up.

"It's not another one of your stupid sweet runs is it?" Kinie said on top of Taz's head annoyed.

"Oh no no no! That's next week. This is different." he said.

"Okay? And what is it?" Nobara asked now curious.

"Well, this is a team training but..with a little twist. I asked for two guests to help us out with this so you can get a better idea of dangerous targets. So they agreed to play the role of dangerous enemies for it." he said.

"Huh...that's not too bad.." Miko said curious.

"Yeah! I'm sure we can do this! But...where are the guests?" Yuria asked.

"Hmm? Oh, there here. Hold on, you two can come out now!" The group looks to the right to see two people walking over but they were silent before Taz knew who they were and the same with Yuji too.

"Class, say hello to our guests!" Gojo said smiling showing the two girls.

"INK!!" Taz happily rushes over to hug her as Van Ink smiled being hugged.

"Hi Taz! Hey everyone!" Van Ink the dragon was here.

"HOLY CRAP IT'S YOU! VAN INK THE DRAGON! YOU ARE ONE OF MY FANS! CAN I HAVE A AUTOGRAPH!?" Kisho shows a book and pen as Ink blinks but giggles, taking it to sign it.

"Oh brother.." Megumi sighed shaking his head. Who would have known Ink would be in the school but she wasn't the only one.

"YUJJJIIIII!!" He blinks hearing his name before he got tackled into the ground by the other.

"Woah!"

"Hi Yuji! I missed you!"

"Jinx!?" Yuji sits up to see his girlfriend here too! Jinx Violet, the leader of the cursed Vixens as the others saw a group walking over waving hi. The teammates were here too!

"Yep! I asked Ink and Jinx to be our enemy guests for this training." Gojo said happy.

"I think we get it but..what's the main mission for this training?" Megumi asked.

"Well, think of is as a suddenly mission. To help you get stronger. So, you have to be prepared for anything. Evne when it comes to demons that have cursed energy. So! Both Ink and Jinx were nice to offer a hand." he said.

"Huh, that explains it." Megumi sighed.

"Don't worry guys, we won't let you down! We'll be sure you get trained well you can trust us!" Ink smiled to the group with Jinx agreeing.

"THIS IS INSANE! WHAT SORT OF TRAINING IS THIS GOJO SENSEI!!" Yuria shouted before more shouting and explosions were heard. Megumi sighed knowing this was going to be a pain but that's when another explsion was heard seeing someone crash land in front of him and Kisho.

"Huh? Yuji!?" he goes to help him sit up but he winces from a kick Jinx gave him.

"Ow ow ow ow ow..Geez, Jinx kicks hard." he winces but looks up. "Oh hey Megumi-"

"Wait, Jinx kicked you!?"

"Yeah, I was trying to fight her but she kicked me from the school grounds to near the forest. She's dangerous and strong........isn't she amazing?" he sighed happily even if Megumi bonks him on the head. "OW!"

"Will you focus here!? We are in a training session right now! You can be all lovely dovey after we are done!" he said standing as Yuji pouts.

"It's not my fault my girlfriend is cool!" he said.

'Correction; Your girlfriend is insane!' Sukuna said. 'She's more crazy than you are! How can you date someone like that!?'

"Oh? Like you dating Kinie!" he said.

"Oh yeah.." she laughed rubbing the back of her head before hearing two more screams. Megumi saw Yuria free falling to help catch her as she winces. Kisho snaps out of it hearing Miko's scream before he rushes to catch her. However, he crashes into the ground holding her wincing.

"Owie....s..she's strong..." Miko mutters rubbing her bottom while Anaconda whines now dizzy from the attack the two delivered.

"Your telling me." Yuria said. "How in the world are we going to beat them?! They are getting more stronger by the second!" she said.

"We just need to think of something. We can complete this we just need time to think of something." Megumi said to the group as they look at him.

"And that is??" They asked.

"......." Before Megumi says, something came near the area to show a black panther with the two tails swaying. However, the cursed energy was heavy and dark showing Jinx had found them. Everyone tenses to hide behind Megumi who blinks to look at them then back at Jinx.

"Found you~" she giggled showing black cursed claws infused with her flames with her eyes glowing.

"......Megumi?" Kisho said now scared.

"And that is....TO FUCKING RUN!" right away he ran with the others following him screaming. Jinx saw but chases them while laughing excited.

Details About the Star's Rebirth AU

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE MANGA & THE AU ITSELF IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT!

The AU takes place in 2019.

Yuji merged with Tengen and now is the new "Star" of the Jujutsu society. He does have Tengen's powers and the CTs he (Yuji) possessed before. So yes, Yuji has RCT, the Soul technique, Shrine and Blood Manipulation as while having Tengen's Immortality.

Yuji still has his consciousness and Tengen is more like Sukuna here where Yuji can sense and talk to them, Yuji controls his body fully. In addition, Yuji has four eyes now. His normal ones and smaller ones under those.

Here, Yuji is the reincarnation of Sukuna's twin. Sukuna did eat his twin in the womb and that soul Kenjaku used to create Yuji.

Kaori was actually pregnant with Yuji when she got into an accident and died. She wasn't that far along though.

Choso, Satoru and Yuki are alive in this AU, they survived and did not wake up until after the battle against Sukuna was over.

Sukuna is dead here, Yuji killed him. Uraume's fate is unknown for right now.

Nobara is also alive. She just lost an eye. But she is okay!

The Death Paintings are still here and kept in capsules. Choso has possession of them.

Kenjaku is also still alive, but they no longer possess a body. Instead, by Yuji's orders, their brain is kept in a capsule just like the Death Paintings.

Takako Uro is a Jujutsu sorcerer here. She had joined their side sometime during the battle against Sukuna. Before then, she had met Yuji.

There are newly appointed Higher-Ups. This group is a bit more tolerable than the last. They're relatives of that group, but not as conservative as them.

The Merger did not happen.

Since the majority of Zenins are gone, leaving Maki and Megumi as the only ones alive, they have been replaced by the Inumaki Family in the Big 3. Toge is the suggested heir.

Since Masamichi Yaga is dead, a new principal has been assigned. It's an OC.

There is a newly formed Star Religious Group. However, it's not Tengen they worship. Their ideals are different.

so Choso and all his brothers are named after the panels of kusōzu (death paintings), a traditional buddhist mediation aid made #aesthetic in Japan. given the names of the eldest brothers are the same as the phases of decay here's all the names of the brothers from oldest to youngest plus what they represent.

Choso (distension), Eso (rupture), Kechizou (exudation of blood), Noranso (putrefaction), Seioso (discoloration and desiccation), Lanso (consumption by animals and birds), Sanso (dismemberment), Kosso (bones), and Shoso (parched to dust).

In canon they state only the first 3 brothers are special grade. I am ignoring that because they're ALL SPECIAL TO ME >:( they only took the first 3 because taking them all is a bonkers move if you want to maintain any leverage.

the younger the brother the more childish he is, if they were all embodied Shoso would be a teenager like Yuji, he might even seem a little bit younger.

While Choso did absorb a lot of information from the person he was reincarnated into he was still stuck in a jar for a century so he's.... Just Plain Fucking Weird. all the brothers are, they're socially very strange and very interdependent. There may be a light cult vibe, it's an insular community thing.

While theoretically incarnated cursed objects like Choso and Sukuna could normally be separated from their host that is not the case for Choso. Because of his cursed womb lineage and the flesh powers he inherited from his mother the man used to make him was not a host so much as he was simply material for his body to use. It's the same for all the brothers.

Eso and Kechizou get to come back eventually. Don't ask questions I just love all my sons equally and I WANT THEM BACK. They all live in a big abandoned ryokan in the countryside that the brothers refurbished. People think in the nearby town it's a haunted now.

Okay now we get into the Bonkers Shit which is my cursed womb lore, not all of it is immediately relevant to Choso but it's like.... his lineage, his family and what's going on in the background with him so best to have it here.

for starters, all the brothers have more than just the Kamo blood technique. from their mothers side they have "flesh" techniques as well, to go with the birth/death/decay symbolism and imagery. who's stronger in what varies from brother to brother.

Choso is the strongest in blood techniques, the most "human" (read: his mother's grudge hadn't built up as much as with his other brothers and so didn't contribute to his cursed spirit side as much). He's the weakest in the flesh/body horror techniques inherited from their mother and he's the least along in process of coming to terms with things a la the buddhist roots of the kusōzu they're based on.

basically as the brothers get younger the more spirit like but also the more like... at peace they are ironically. it's a whole thing.

A very important factor in Choso -- and their whole family's -- story is just how palpable and all encompassing their mother's grudge is. Her own ability to birth hybrids basically meant that when she died her own immense rage and horror over what was done to her could live one in a very tangible way.

See the cursed womb wasn't just a random outlier, she was similar to Yuuta in that she's from a larger and older jujutsu lineage but instead of a prestigious one it's one that the family themselves has been trying to eradicate from their line. Centuries of tragedy, horrors, branches wiped out, moving, name changes etc. That's something her brother figures out from his own hunt for her and from the documents Kenjaku left (yes that's where all the notes went).

The cursed womb's desire for revenge is both a metaphor for how tragedies like this can haunt generations of a family but also a literal force acting on the family. This is locked in when she finds her brother and the two make a pact sealed with what her last child. after that their clan starts to congeal back into being a jujutsu family and not just merchants, with the cursed womb's direct line being the most powerful and prone to members having mutations similar to hers or various other bad shit that leads to gruesome ends.

This curse effects the kusōzu brothers as well tho in a less tangible way at first, but in the end their fates are directly linked to that of the broader clan. In fact one of the goals of the clan is to reacquire the brothers and decide their fates, be it to destroy them or to somehow reclaim her legacy or accept them into the clan. It's the kind of thing that could only be decided after finding them and meeting them. Of all the humans on earth, due to things like their flesh based techniques and the propensity for body horror in the main branch they're probably the ones most likely to understand the brothers, not only that they're family, so there's a lot of vested interest on Choso's end to Make Shit Work and convince them that he and his brother's can bring justice to their mother and be allowed to live.

Because we're in body horror/reproductive hell, the kusōzu brothers have a younger sister in the modern era who is also a semi-reincarnation of their mother and also the living manifestation of her grudge. She's named Izanami and she's from the main line descended from the OG cursed womb and her brother. How it all works is basically some kind of fucked up magical sleeper cell DNA thing. like if you did a DNA test Choso and her would genuinely be half-siblings, which is only possible thanks to all the occult body horror bullshit going on in this godforsaken family.

She's the one who decides if they all get to live and when she stops acting like a fucking maniac is the hint that mom's been avenged.

Here's a very rough family tree since i had to figure out if who was alive to carry shit on since i kept killing the girlies lol. also YES i AM implying that kaori itadori is one of the fringe branches who inherited the weird dna but not any of the lore. This is why Kenjaku chooses her for a vessel for his schemes.

Whether it was because of your clashing schedules, with you wanting a normal job and Yuji being Sukuna's vessel, or him always being needed on missions.

Eventually, the two of you made a compromise. Movie night every week, didn't matter what day or time, there has to be a movie night every week. Just one day a week to hang out with each other no matter what.

Unfortunately for Yuji, the moment he walked into your room, he was met with your figure slouched on your chair, leaning on the desk as your hand furiously tapped the pen you were holding on a complicated looking math textbook. Another notebook right beside it with plenty of notes.

"I'm sorry I think I'll have to miss out on movie night this week, algebra is giving me a headache."

Picking up books that didn't necessarily interest him but just had cool covers. But again, even that got boring after a while.

"What if I help you with your work then you can finish it faster and we can cuddle?" You could hear the pout in his voice.

But you detested resting. You were almost done. Just a little bit more, you kept telling yourself.

"No offence Yu, but I don't think you can help me with this. The algebraic forms are throwing me on a loop, and if I remember correctly I had better math scores than you growing up." You laughed lightly.

Yuji would've also laughed at your quipps, not really taking offence to them at all. If he didn't notice how tired you sounded. Because of that, he observed you much more carefully. Much to his dismay, you looked as tired as you sounded.

You would constantly rant to Megumi about how difficult your school was. Though you felt slightly guilty at you complaining when his school literally sends him to missions that could very well kill him. But he'd always reassure you that it was different struggles.

He didn't mind being put into dangerous situations as long as he got to finish the mission. You, on the other hand, loathed at least 50% of the subjects in school. So he'd always say how it wasn't the same.

Because of your constant ranting though, he actually started to know almost every one of your subjects and the topics you were on now. So it wasn't out of the norm to see him helping you with something.

That's where you both got into this situation. Megumi invited you over to Jujutsu High, show you around and maybe relax in his room. You declined it almost immediately after telling him how much you needed to study.

After listing all the topics you had a test for the next day, he cringed at the amount of work your school gave you. Offering to help you if you came over. You, of course, immediately agreed.

"So you're telling me, Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and Thymine make up DNA?" You hummed, tapping your pencil against your lip as Megumi pointed at the diagram.

"Yeah but DNA is made up of pairs of them, Adenine can only pair with Thymine and Guanine can only pair with Cytosine," he spoke with such ease you were slightly annoyed at how easy this seems to be for him.

"Then through this process," he continued explaining pointing to different parts of your textbook, "They create proteins."

Megumi looked at you with a raised brow, asking you if you get it silently. You stayed quiet with widened eyes and furrowed brows. It was clear that no, you didn't get it, and yes, you were fucked for your biology test tomorrow.

"Hm, let's skip this for now and move onto something else first," you thanked whatever heaven was up there that Megumi seem to have a little bit of patience left for you.

Kugisaki Nobara

The type to be bored out of her mind if you didn't have the time to hang out with her

"Seriously I say just be late, I mean, what are they going to do anyway? Lower your score?"

"Yes babe they'll do exactly that, and I can't have that with how my scores are looking like right now." You sighed as you continued to pace around your room holding your notebook filled with summaries and notes, recounting everything about both the French Revolution and the American Revolution.

You felt like ripping your hair out with how complicated things were. Especially with how many different views there are of everything. How one source could view one person as a terrible man and then the other showing they were a misunderstood angel.

"Fine then, I'm going out to buy some things," you heard your girlfriend huff out before leaving your room.

Silently you felt slightly bad for ignoring her so much, but you had so much to do. So you tried to ignore it the best you can and engrossed yourself back in history.

For once in Nobara's life, shopping didn't feel that good. She couldn't help but feel a little bad for leaving you behind like that. You were obviously stressed and she probably added onto that stress. Realizing her small mistake she quickly left the mall, not forgetting to buy your favourite snack and dessert before she left though.

Once she returned she saw that you were still pacing around your room trying to memorize every single detail. Placing her bags to the side she placed the dessert and snack on a bedside table before pulling you to the bed, taking the notes from your hands.

"I'll ask you questions and if you answer them correctly you can get a bite from either that dessert or the snack."

You didn't even have time to ask why she was doing this or to thank her as suddenly she asked a question after scanning your notes. Confused, but happy at the outcome. You answered with confidence.

"Nope, wrong, The Falling of Bastille is the one considered as the start of the revolution."

You swear you heard Nobara chuckle behind your notes, and if she wasn't holding your favourite snack and dessert hostage, you would've tackled her right there and then.

"Okay, fine next question!" You exclaimed with renewed vigour to study.

Nobara smiled behind the notes, a warm feeling in her chest for being able to help you with your stress and still hang out with you.
