After being in the manifestation and shifting community for many years now (mainly on YouTube and tumblr), I realised that there isn't much questioning. There are some concepts that are unanimously accepted as fact (regardless of whether it's true or not). Now that led me to a realisation, the myth of the subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind is described as the part of your mind that notices and remembers information when you are not actively trying to do so and influences your behaviour even though you do not realize it. It is one of the fundamentals, the backbone of the beliefs in these communities. Many of our decisions and methods are built off of the fundamental belief of the existence of the subconscious. There are people who believe that it is the subconscious that makes you manifest/shift, more power to you if this applies to you. I am here to provide an alternative view and challenge this notion.

Before I go any further, let me explain how I came to this conclusion. So I have been feeling major dissonance - I know that my assumptions create my reality, but I still assume that it can't possibly be that easy (it is). It leads me to constantly be fighting with myself in my own mind, whereas I AM just accepts the things I say unconditionally. It leads to me manifesting things so quickly and successfully but only 'small' things, which reaffirms my beliefs, creating a negative feedback loop. My thoughts are a symptom of an issue that I desire to address.

So I am not interested in having this 💀 so I was thinking how I can address this dissonance. That's when it hit me. My subconscious isn't real. When I tell yall that I was stood shook like 🧍‍♀️. It was my own epiphany moment. Like HELLO !?!? I did that 💅💅

Also, quick disclaimer: these are just my thoughts and exploration of fundamental ideas in this community. You are still entitled to your own opinion. Just have an open mind while reading the rest of the post ♡♡♡

So much of what we do is built off of the assumption that it is the subconscious mind that allows it to come into fruition. That's not the case !! It is only the case if you assume it to be. Neville Goddard teaches us about our assumptions; "An assumption, though false, if persisted in, will harden into fact." Despite knowing this, many still choose to put the power into the hands of their subconscious.

By sacrificing our power to the subconscious mind, we are imitating control. We are the operant power, living a human experience - imitating struggle. By choosing to be aware of your I AMness, you are choosing to let go of the struggle and accept your power. So why would you give up a portion of that power to an imaginal being ? One you created yourself. You are essentially imitating an earthly struggle to imitating a godly struggle - at the end of the day, it's all imitation.

"Let us put and end to these fears and the worship of creation. There is only ONE Lord and that is your own I AMness. When I say and feel "I AM" that is the Lord. I don't feel after anything else. If I need security, I do not try to gather all the money in the world or put my house on some mountain away from everyone. I do not try to do good deeds hoping a god will give my security. No. I go to the ONE Lord, the ONE God and I feel after safety using the name of I AM. I feel after it instead of trying to find it in the world. I feel after I AM secure."

Edward Art is clearly saying what we all should apply. Do not go to the subconscious. It is just an unnecessary middleman between I AM and the ego. It serves no other purpose aside from what you assign to it. By relying on the subconscious to do what you can do without it, you are worshipping your own creation. Putting it on a pedestal, which it doesn't belong on.

Barbados is imaginary.

In his work (Series 2, part 3), Edward Art reveals to us that Barbados is imaginary. Neville was at the imaginary Barbados with his imaginary self. He makes an important distinction by this, however. Imaginary isn't unreal, rather something that is unseen; "I am not saying 'imaginary' to suggest 'not real.' I am not trying to play pretend with you. By imaginary, I just mean unseen, substance, a realm. I do not mean unreal. So I interact within this realm just as I would in this outer realm." By treating all as imaginary, we are granting ourselves whatever we desire immediately. There is no time lag, no delay, no reflection, nothing of the sort. It is imagined then assumed. By feeling the need to go through a subconscious mind, you are creating another layer that is unnecessary. You are creating a delay. Even if you assume that the subconscious will be able to manifest it instantly, your imagination already had it long before. After all, how did the desire appear in the first place ? Through your imagination.

In relation to the subconscious mind, it only exists through our imagination (as does all else), yet it is treated as the source of reality, not another method of executing that reality. I AM is the source of all things (reminds me of qur'anic teachings, but I'll save that for another post). Nothing is greater than us. We must see past the fog and fully accept our I AMness.

The subconscious mind is imaginary.

Realised I should probably update yall on how things are going! Things are almost ready, just need to stich the book together together and finish a couple things, then I can order a sample of the book. I don't want to start the kickstarter until I have a book sample in hand that I'm happy with.

Admittedly looking like my original timeline isn't quite going to fit but such is life. its a close enough timeline so im not too annoyed just not in time to advertise it this weekend

What a year it has been, right?

I usually try to talk only about warhammer 40k on this blog. I don't like mention if my personal life, or politics, or even other fandom, really. That said, this year was... Far from easy for me. Health problem, job problem, finances, politiques, (shout out to all the queer french canadian who are also scared shitless!), moving in a new place, insane inflation....

I had given myself the huge objective to publish 200k words for 2023. At the end, this is the result:

108k words. You can also add about 50k of unpublished original work. Here is the list of fic that I have published/updated in 2023 (by view count), and some little thought/insight on them:

Agency - My big fem primarch au. You can really see me grow, if you read it from start to finish. It's been *years* since I started this fic, at this point, the ending that I have planned is like my white whale. One day.... One day, I will defeat it. Terribly hard to write but SO satisfying

Tales of different lives - if Agency is my dark nemesis, than my planet swap is coming home to a soft bed. It's so easy and FUN to write that au. I know not everyone like the lighter take toward the world this one take, and that's ok. Sometime... It's just nice, to have softer things, especially after such a year.

Phantom of the (warhammer?)-pera - I am begging you. On my knees. Read this one. It's my fav thing I have ever written. It's so much fun. It's totally INSANE and I loved every moment of it. I want to go back and fight the formatting again, to finish implanting all the notes. They are SO much fun. Also has AMAZING cover art by @skrankku !

Five times People tried and failed to Seduce Roboute Guilliman to Chaos... - Absolute surprised to me how people loved that fic. Ngl, I was actually sick/very depressed when I wrote it, but it warm heart that other enjoyed it.

This Once Nearly Was Mine - This one does not count, it's @kingwithpaintedfingers AMAZING Vulkan's POV to Castle of Glass, my Mortarion/Vulkan soulmate au. I am amazed and humbled to be able to work with such a great writer, and be able to call you a friend. I HIGHLY recommend all their work.

Trust - I had to actually check that one, and turns out, it was the update to my Talos/Septimus fic! Can you believe that I forget my own fic?! I am silly. Surprisingly delightful. I need to write more of this ship.

Birdcage - written for an exchange, specifically for @funboxsupreme , another criminally good writer. This fic, in my humble opinion, is some of my best writing. Extremely dark, I also SOMEHOW managed some really cool "special effect" in it, and I am PLEASED with myself.

In the Garden - a VERY quick and horny piece for Nan, a PROLIFIC writer whom I cannot help but be in awe of (also heeeelp I don't have your tumblr, poke me and I will tag you!)

Old Crows and Young Cardinals - This is an interesting one! This fic seem barely started, but it's mostly because the rest of it require MASSIVE planning and careful writing, as it deal with time travel and has a stupidly complex plot. I cannot wait to unveil more of it.

By proxy - hehehe, another really cool gift for a friend, this time for Lieara/Allyria! Even if this list is making me realise how many of yall tumblrs I don't know. I feel like an Old man trying to remember phone number lmao.

Day 2 - Bootworship and Sister of battle - a fun little fic part of the "40 kink for 40k" challenge that I NEED to continue, started by the wonderful @iapetusneume . Also.... Lesbian. Need more Lesbian.

The only way - A other fic that I had completely forgotten that I wrote. It's such a strange feeling, to reread your own words and go "I did this??" It's not bad, but it was written during one of those hard period of the year, and as such feel extra alien to me.

Day 1 - Geneseed, but sexy and Homeworld - another 40k for 40 kink fic, this one was a LOT of fun to write! Amd kinda specifically made for @bobthebobhere , another good friend in this fandom!

The miracle of science (and children) - a gift fic that was supose to be part of an exchange, but took too long! This one is for @shootertron-stuff , an artist that I highly respect and love! If you like it kinky, go tead their stuff, they are an inspiration.

In the Lion's Den. - Hahahahahaha lmao. So, fun fact: On reddit, there is a user who post horribly misogynist/homophobic Tau torture porn with his OC chapter. I got mad, and wrote a spit gay porn fic of his OCs. To his credit, he rolled with it and was amused at it. I still don't like him, and never will, but I have his blessing to keep it up, so!

The Bird, The Wolf and the Keeper - a little experiment, in poetry format fic. I liked it well enough, and will attempt some more in 2024 I think :)

I know will has the rep but if its mike who we see nudity from i think it could show a very in-character strength and vulnerability that is much needed after s4.

lisa rubini the ultimate mother you are.......... not the best one but she's so real to me. some hc things: i think she worked as a seamstress and before Eddie started earning money was the main source of income for the family. this may not be true for the era, i'm honestly just transferring what happens very often here when women takes over all the responsibilities (the father is either an alcoholic or unemployed or just not there) + this as another reason for the conflict between Lisa and her husband. & because she worked as a seamstress for a long time she developed carpal tunnel syndrome as she got older (i've been told about this problem by several seamstresses). i was just thinking that i often see Eddie & Lisa in my head, with Eddie holding Lisa's hands & carpal tunnel syndrome could be the reason y know? bout eddie's cousin - i think she's Lisa's niece, not Cecilio's

but anyways once u get there yall play and have fun for some time but suddenly u get a phone call from ur friend and u excuse urself to take the call; u go to the kitchen and start talking to ur friend and everything and then suddenly the topic of your conversion turns to ur massive crush on nagi. so u start saying things like “i like him sm” “he’s so cute when he’s concentrated” or “he’s so JANDJWJD when he’s teaching me how to play” BUT u don’t noticed that he’s been eavesdropping on u long enough to ear ur little confessions (😩)

still not knowing that he overheard ur conversation, u go back like nothing happened and sit beside him. some time passed and it’s time for u to go home, but when u guys reach the door and are ab to say goodbye to each other, nagi pulls u close and kissed u (OSJDJWJDJEJR); not satisfied with the kiss he decided to pull u one more time, but this time u decided to do better and kissed him more feverishly- it just turned into a hot make out session ✨✨✨

anyways, i love this :((( best thing to wake to ever in the morning, especially since i was so mad at tumblr for all the shit it was putting me through. this brightened my day tho so thank u <3

nagi being a homebody makes imagining homely and domestic scenarios with him SO TASTY. his apartment is relatively clean and well-cared for, he has a minimalist lifestyle (not by choice though, he's just too lazy clean up after it otherwise).

but i think nagi is also someone who values his space and privacy, so when he asks you to come over and play some games with him- HIS NUMBER ONE LEISURE ACTIVITY- it's pretty obvious you mean a lot to him. well, to himself at least. you don't understand the memo just yet, but it's safe to say that nagi is overjoyed to finally have someone use his second player remote.

connecting another controller to the console felt surreal and it made him a little giddy on the inside. he grabbed whatever beanbags he had and placed them in front of his tv, setting up a little, but formidable space for the two of you to game freely.

you show up with his favourite snacks and he's ready to get on one knee and propose (you weren't even married), especially when you bring all of his favourite snacks. there's ramen in there too.

the night goes smoothly, thank goodness his setup is working properly, he doesn't use the tv very often to game but since you were coming over, a phone screen and monitor wouldn't be fitting. the clock eventually hits 12 am and nagi says he needs to take a shower, self-conscious about any stench that might come from him that would drive you away. it doesn't seem like the gaming is going to end any time soon, so you tell him to go and you'll chill for a while.

THEN, your friend shoots a text since you told them that you'd be going to nagi's for a hangout, asking how it was. immediately, you call them and they answer before the first ring and you retreat into his kitchen to discuss.

nagi's shower doesn't take too long, just a scrub down and he's back in action. when he reappears in the living room, you're still in the kitchen, too caught up in your ranting to realise that he can now hear you through the thin walls of his apartment.

you're saying things like 'i like him so much, he's so cute', 'he's so sweet, even when i lose', 'he's so funny that it makes him even more attractive!', and nagi is LOSING HIS SHIT. his heart is racing in his ears and he's cursing himself for it bc all he wants to hear is how you're gushing about him when you don't know he knows. shit, you were going to end him, nagi's sure of it.

when you return to the living room, you're a little surprised to see that your white-haired friend has returned. you immediately panic at the realisation that he could have heard you, but the way he's acting all nonchalant and normal indicates otherwise. okay... maybe you were okay.

the night continues on for another hour or so before you let out your first yawn, signifying that it was probably time for you to leave, despite neither party wanting for that to happen. nagi reluctantly gets up to let you out so you can go home, concerned for your wellbeing since it was so late already. he wants to ask if you could stay the night because he's so selfish but hey, nagi's human, and humans have desires.

but when he opens the door, it feels wrong to just hug you as a farewell, so without thinking, he grabs your face and pulls you in for a searing kiss. it catches you off guard, eyes widening for a moment before realising what was happening and melting into him.

without even seeing what he was doing, nagi slams his door shut and presses you against the wood for some kind of stability. you're not too sure when this evolved into a makeout session, but you hardly have any reason to complain, especially since nagi kisses you like he's been wanting this a long time.

it's between kisses that he murmurs a confession of 'i like you', pressing kisses against the corners of your lip in his delirium, unable to get rid of his need to be as close to you as humanly possible.

safe to say you stay the night, plus, you earned a date for saturday!

(Old) Ash Williams headcanons

A/N: I guess I haven't been in such a good mood for the last 2 months so hopefully yall like this considering I recently got back into my evil dead phase and watched all of the Ash vs evil dead TV show so here are some of my headcanons for old Ash!

Warning 18+: Smoking, swearing, a small mention of drugs, deadites and only a hint of sexual activities

- Ash is the kind of guy to think that he'll never find anyone for the long term, maybe a few fuck buddies but nothing else. He tells himself that he doesn't need anyone, mainly because he thinks they're gonna be a distraction or that he is just way over that. He looked for love in the past and they had to die right in front of his eyes, he wouldn't dread for that to happen again.

- But that all goes away when he sees you, either you knew him from before (Like in the past or whatever) or he just randomly sees you one day while out. He knows you are the one, the way you look is irresistible and your whole personality just blows him away. Extra points if you try to play hard to get, and you laugh at his dumb jokes.

- He might leave the first time, promising to come back and you know damn well he will come back. He probably misses you when he goes, even if you didn't even talk to him and instead just smiled at him the whole time he was there. He can't help but smile whenever he remembers you, and you know he won't stop bragging about you to Kelly and Pablo.

- As much as they like to see Ash in love and everything, he needs to put his head in the game sometimes, and stop nagging them about you.

- Either you came out about it on how you wanted to take him out or he got impatient and asked you out instead, holding on for dear life that you would say yes. And he's so excited when you say yes, he would be jumping up and down if he could but instead he keeps to his calm and snarky self, telling you how there's a new pub open just down the road and how he'll meet you there tonight.

- The whole night he is addicted to you, only asking you questions and occasionally flexing and how he's the 'hero' of the world, fighting all these scary and deadly monsters with his chainsaw and gun. He doesn't mind dancing with you the whole night, or if you really wanna get out of town for the night in the delta as he's definitely thinking about getting spicy in there.

(Fast forward to when you guys become a couple, considering I'm too lazy  😭)

- Ash is a roller coaster of a guy to date, he has his ups and downs and there's never a time where your not surrounded by deadites or Kelly and Pablo. He can be a bit much to date and also a handful, you don't know if he's gonna come home with wounds and scratches or barely come home at all. (Don't worry he makes it up to you)

- You would also have to adjust to the tight living space of his trailer, it's small and definitely not a space for someone who has claustrophobia to be. It also always has some drug in almost any drawer, maybe even bullets too.

- Ash is not the one to be too possessive or who can get easily jealous (In my opinion) but hey that doesn't mean he's more than happy if you want a day job or something, just not a night job. It gets lonely at night and when he comes home, he's hurt and tired and all he wants to do is cuddle with you all night long.

- But then again he isn't going to force you, though I hope you don't mind coming home nearly every night to Kelly and Pablo over. His excuse is always the same too "I got lonely" :(

- But in the end, Ash is an amazing boyfriend and he can be very protective over you when it comes to the time, like when he realises he has to save the world for like the 20th time. But then I hope you love hanging around him 24/7 because he would not let you go, like...ever.

- He is also 100% softer around you, his clingy side may even come out sometimes but he can't help it after having to fight all of these deadites and deal with the amount of hate he gets. He can't help but enjoy and smile around you.

- Why leaving so soon, Y/N? Oh, you're taking a shower...well I hope you don't mind him joining.
