Redwall Piece supernovas lineup! I am going to yap about them under the cut, but if you want to enjoy just these drawings that's fine! 😊

Okay okay! So, some of these we've seen before but honestly I didn't talk a lot about my assignments and I want to and you know what it's my blog and I should indulge myself! I'll go in order :)

Alright there's fox hawkins, who I've posted before! My reasoning for this one is pretty simple - foxes in redwall are tricky, yes, but they also tend to be seers and fortune tellers! I felt that suited Hawkins' vibe very well. Honestly his is a pretty simple assignment.

Next is Zoro and Luffy and I'm partial to them so here's a picture of just them. Zoro is a badger, and Luffy's a weasel.

Zoro's was the biggest no-brainer of all time. Even if you don't know Redwall I think badger suits him as an animal. In redwall they're generally immensely powerful, somewhat solitary, and most importantly some of 'em have got a very fun affliction called bloodwrath, where when they get very angry in the heat of battle their eyes turn blood red and their vision is overtaken by a red haze and they go totally berserk! Yay! I really like that for Zoro. There's the fun stress revolving around loss of control along with his intense need to protect his friends. Also, his stripe is green. Why? Maybe he rolled in grass. Maybe it's mold. Maybe he was born that way. Yes, Sanji makes fun of it.

Now, Luffy. Luffy's a weasel, and in Redwall the creatures have... archetypes, sort of. There are "Vermin" and there are "Woodlanders" and for the most part these roles are bad and good respectively, with very few grey characters, or characters who break this mold. Weasels are always, always, evil. Now I'm not an elementary schooler so I'm rejecting that, to an extent. Luffy's more textbook selfish, here, and probably a bit more of an asshole, too, but he hoards his friends just as obsessively as in canon! He's less sympathetic towards people he doesn't know, too. Also, I can just imagine him flopping down and twisting and running circles around all his friends and I think that's very cute.

Killer and Kid!!!

So, originally, I had intended to make them both rats. However it was brought to my attention Killer is based off a yokai called kamaitachi, which is a weasel with sickle claws. I liked that a lot, so I sort of channeled it here. His punishers don't spin, but still they're fun. I made him look much more like a stereotypical cartoon weasel than I have for any other mustelid I've drawn, because I really liked the vibe for him.

As for Kid, he just makes a fantastic Massive Rat. Rats, of course, are pretty much fully evil in Redwall, unless they're too stupid to be evil, which happened one time across 22 books. That's fine because Kid is pretty evil. Pirates in redwall are all vermin, so I felt making these pirates vermin wouldn't be so bad.

Drake and Law!

Honestly Drake was mostly just my gut instinct. He's a redhead. Squirrels are red. Squirrels also make pretty brave warriors it seems. They're also "good" creatures, which I think works well with Drake's whole SWORD deal. That blue looks very nice with his orange fur in my opinion. I adore how he turned out.

Law I've drawn before. He's just such a great ferret. Yes, ferrets are evil. But Law's a little evil too so that's fine. I actually gave him his hat this time, good for him!

Bonney and Bege!

Bonney is a hedgehog. Why? I liked it. I think Bonney being able to roll into a spiky ball is fantastic. Hedgehogs are "good" creatures, of course. Also I love her i love her so much. Her spikes are pinkish because well I wanted them to be. Whoever guessed Bonney and Kuma were the badger father and adoptive hedgehog daughter yeah you were right. I'm normal.

Bege's a shrew! Most shrews are "good," with a handful of exceptions. They usually run in groups of a bunch of shrews, generally on rivers. I also took some inspiration from that one shrew from zootopia because that felt somewhat similar.

Lastly, Apoo and Urouge!

Apoo I've drawn before, he's a goose! Some geese have funny poofy feathers on their head. He has that. The brown is not feathers, but rather something kind of like hair extensions, made from... I dunno. Something brown, obviously. Apoo honks at people and chases them and he's really annoying.

Urouge was.... hard. He's the only supernova without much screentime. I wanted him to be a bird but my options were limited... so I settled on a sparrow. Why? I dunno. They're pretty good warriors so he has that going for him. I think visually he turned out cute even if his species choice feels the weakest.

Allow me to yap about deck9, new games and shipping.

I'd like to comment on the whole Pricefield break up in Deck9's LIS DE game. Life is Strange is the game that indirectly contributed to me coming out. I cannot tell you how huge and dramatic of an impact this game had on me, the first game will forever hold a special place in my heart.

The center of why I was so attached to the game was Pricefield, specifically Chloe. I saw some of my characteristics in her, I was often left behind by my friends, I forgive very easily and I love so fast and so fierce it might scare some people off.

The dedication that chloe and Max had especially towards the end of the game was unique.

Now I know that some critics out there will point out just how fucking toxic Chloe was (being possessive, jealous, pushing Max to do bad things etc). And I should know, I had an ex-friend who was possessive and jealous so I understand where they're coming from. But that just adds more depth to Chloe's character. She's fucked up, she's a mess... And yet...

She does this. She still loves, has the capability to love after all that's happened. Plus also yeah everyone loves the blue haired punk lesbian.

But come on, the last scene where we had to choose Bay or Bae was... phenomenal. I cried so fucking hard after the Bae ending. I cried just as hard when I saw the LIS2 pricefield picture because it gave me closure. I grew attached to this couple (and chloe specifically) because of the qualities I see in me mirrored in her.

So it came as a shock to me when Deck9 said "mm fuck that" and just threw my Bae choice to trash. The duo separates. And honestly? I can live with that. I could respect that choice. This isn't a shipping war (unlike what some in the fandom might insist) this is simply another Joel Death and TLOU2 dilemma.

But to shit on Chloe? To reduce her to THIS

I couldn't believe what I read. It made me so upset that not only do they break up a duo I absolutely admire, but they also villian-ify Chloe in a way that just isn't true to her character.

Some would say "why should your opinion matter?" And to that I'd reply "It should, I am only one in the thousands of voices who belong to players that absolutely cherished LIS for ages." If our voices don't count, why even bother making a game for us to play?

I've seen people refunding. Other chose to buy the game and see how it all pans out. I can respect that. But to those who are actively harassing the studio employees??? Please grow up. Shitty game or not, in the end it's just that: a game. Sure, a game that we adore. But it ain't a cult bro. You can't harass people for just doing their jobs.

My solution? Ignorance is bliss, if you'd like to ship Pricefield fucking GO for it. I will personally reject the Deck9's mess, and keep drawing and enjoying the ship closest to my heart.

(it’s super easy for her and is honestly very entertaining to watch) 

she keeps tabs on every single person who has shown interest in you

like EVERY single one

it doesn't matter if a student only glanced at you once in life sciences class, she is holding that information in the back of her head for future use

she lowkey kinda stalks anyone who’s interested in you?!?!?! (hear me out don’t hear me out)

she wants to know about the people who are desperate for your attention, so she finds out about all of their flaws

why you ask? well to warn you about them of course 

“sure they’re cute, but have you heard about their hygiene habits?”

“oh, she asked you out huh? well, before you accept her invitation i should warn you, she’s dated half of the school by now.”

at first fiyero wouldn’t be jealous at any admirer of yours (he is, he just doesn't admit it)

he would brush off anyone’s advances towards you as unimportant, despite the nagging voice in the back of his head

he thinks that any admirers that you have are below you and that you’re way out of everyone’s league, so he doesn't dwell too much on any student trying to flirt with you

he’s the winkie prince, he doesn't get jealous. if anything you should get jealous when he interacts with other people 

it’s only when one day you start to begin to show interest in a student that he knows secretly likes you that he starts to worry

anytime you brought up the student’s name fiyero would immediately direct your attention elsewhere or he would bring up something that didn’t have anything to do with the current conversation 

he’d get very grumpy when you start talking about them and would whine about how this person was stealing you away from him (in a platonic way, of course)

“don’t tell me that you’re going to leave me for THAT, y/n. yes, them. c’mon! you’ve already got a handsome prince’s attention, who else do you need?”

“them, really? with that hair?” 

“but they're so… loud.” 

“you’re loud..” 

“it’s charming!” 

when around you, he tries to play off all his jealousy in a joking, playful way despite quietly freaking out on the inside

he feels frustration and anger at a person for trying to “steal” you away from him

but he also feels worry, because now he’s just realized that there’s the possibility of you leaving him, and he was too much of a coward to tell you how he felt about you when he had the chance

like how dare someone look at you discreetly as if you’re a being from a whole other universe (fiyero does this), how dare they try to get all of your attention (he does this too), how dare they flirt with you relentlessly (yep. he also does this)

it isn't until you find that you aren’t actually as interested in the student as you thought before that fiyero relaxes again

but now, he’s always secretly on the lookout for anyone whose eyes linger on you for a bit longer than he sees decent 

if he notices any suitor begin to start to try to touch you, or try to get you alone

yeah, no! he’s seen those moves being used before and he KNOWS where they are going to lead (*coughs* he’s done them *coughs*) that is not going to slide

now when someone begins to pull moves on you, instead of just letting it happen he often walks over and immediately makes sure that you don’t give anyone too much time

he’ll interject himself into the conversation and will administer casual touches on you every now and then. tucking a piece of hair behind your ear, brushing his hand against your back or arm, things like that. things that scream to your suitor “back off, they’re already being pursued by mwah”

fiyero will casually put an arm around your shoulders as you talk to the person who is into you. he’ll keep eye contact with the student, running his thumb along your shoulder, almost taunting them 

it gets you really quiet and flustered and soon enough the student leaves you two alone

so yes, despite fiyero’s past beliefs about “playing it cool” about his jealousy, all it takes is for someone to actually catch your attention for him to flip out and become the most jealous (and even slightly insecure??) man who ever lived

does not sugar coat her jealousy AT ALL

“oh dearest, i hope you aren’t taking any of those suitors of yours seriously. you just might begin to make ME jealous!” *releases a scary laugh and flips her hair*

when galinda is interested in someone she is very obvious about it, and honestly she’s not ashamed of it

most people would die to have galinda’s attention, so she assumes that you’ll feel the same

she sees it as almost marking her territory to others in a weird way

when people see that THE galinda upland of the upperuplands has her eyes set on someone, said people will back off

like fiyero, galinda tends to get very touchy when she’s jealous

she doesn't like when you’re attention is on someone else so she’ll do these weird things in order to get your focus back on her

her favorite tactic is to pretend to faint 

“oh, dear. y/n! it- it’s getting kind of warm right now isn’t it? oh- oh i think i’m gonna-“ *falls conveniently into you* 

so you have no choice but to drag galinda off somewhere to sit or lay down

as you drag her off, galinda is secretly looking over at the person who had been talking to you with the smuggest look on her face 

nessarose

nessa gets a bit grumpy and quiet when she gets jealous

she’s really bitter about your attention being on someone else (she’s quietly thinking about slamming their face into something)

at first when someone approaches you she tries to redirect your attention back to her 

if you still prioritize the person who approached you over her she’ll get very quiet and she’ll just slink off somewhere else, hoping that you’ll realize that she’s not with you anymore and go look for her

nessa can get insecure whenever she’s jealous so she’d prefer not to see you, the person that she has a huge crush on, causally interact with someone that she knows likes you

she almost blames you for having suitors?? 

she’ll give you the silent treatment after you’ve interacted with someone for what she believes to have been an indecently long time 

“nessa, c’mon. please talk to me..”

“...”

“ness, you’re being immature-”

“OH I’M SORRY! 🙄”

she gets very dramatic about it (drama queen nessarose is very much a thing)

like- you’re literally just talking to someone else, it’s not that deep 😭

she honestly just needs some reassurance that you still love her (platonically, for now) and that you still care for her and she’ll calm down (visibly)

but on the inside she’s trying to think of ways to make sure that your suitor won’t approach you again, at least while she’s around

you had decided that you and arthur were a riddle, wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma, or whatever the saying was.

you had liked him for the longest time, hiding it pretty well from your mutual friend group, trying your desperate best to keep it under wraps in an attempt to preserve your friendship.

that was, until, a night out where you had both had a little too much to drink, and the night had become a blur. at least, you pretended it had become a blur.

in reality, arthur was so sweet to you and you had savoured it and immortalised it in your own memory, aware that it may be the only time. his arm wrapped lazily on top of your stomach, a comfort in the weight, his head resting opposite yours. his other hand intertwined in your hair, fingers gently soothing strands of your hair down, moving in rhythmic strokes.

his aftershave a blend of a sweeter mix, something cedar like. the dim yellowed light that could weave it's way through his blinds. his breathing was slowed and steady, the gentle hum of traffic from the open window an afterthought.

you had allowed yourself to trace the smaller lines of his face with your eyes, the smaller marks you usually wouldn't see, focused on his parted lips, a slight smile playing on them, as all you could think about was how gentle he was when he placed kisses on you, like you would break, on your forehead, cheek, collarbone, and that you could feel his mustache tickle your skin wherever he pressed himself.

his slight habit of drawing on exposed skin, the pad of his finger running lazily up and down your neck, and you closed your eyes for a moment, made you silently will that if god was real that he would permit moments to be frozen.

so when arthur suggested that for the preservation of your friendship, you should probably both pretend it didn't happen, it was all you could do not to scream at him that he was all you wanted and it was cruel of him to show you such love and then deprive you of it.

but it was arthur, and you wanted him to be happy. so if ignoring anything happened made him happy, you swallowed down your feelings and nodded.

it had been two months since, and you had tried your best to just bury it, act how you always had around him - close friends, and ignore your feelings towards him like you always had.

you guys had agreed to go out to a bar, both arthurs, george, chris and bach, since it was a friday night and you hadn't done anything in a while.

so there you were, sat in a booth, sipping possibly your fourth vodka cocktail, yapping to chris incoherently about some bird documentary he had recently watched over the loud music.

"did you do something different with your hair?" you asked chris, cocking your head slightly as you looked at him.

he furrowed his eyebrows slightly and shook his head with a grin, "no, why?"

you shrugged, "just looks nice, thought it looked different or something. whatevers different suits you," you said, before turning to the conversation that arthurtv and bach had become engaged in. you had noticed arthur hadn't said much the whole night, had sat pretty quietly drinking his pints, then moved onto spirits and had been drinking them just as quickly.

you tapped george on the shoulder, squeezing him slightly to get his attention, and he turned to you with a slightly drunk smile.

you whispered slightly to him, gesturing to other arthur, "do you think arthur's been a little quiet tonight?" i said, and george nodded a little.

"yeah, he hasn't said too much, has he? wouldn't worry about it too much, he's probably just tired, i heard him plodding around the apartment late last night," george responded, also whispering, and i nodded in response, giggling a little.

i looked over to other arthur, giving him a small smile, almost like a non-verbal 'are you okay', but his eyebrows just furrowed slightly back at you, before he looked away.

people got drunker as the drinks kept flowing, and whilst the boys were engaging in their zestiest activity with each other, as they often did whilst drunk, you couldn't help but laugh at them as you swayed along, clearly not as energised as they were, with george singing lyrics in your face as a motivator to get involved with their buzzed dancing, so you did giggling and singing along, being able to smell the beer from him as you danced.

still, arthur was barely involved, swaying himself slightly to seem into it but you could tell something was wrong.

so when he excused himself to go to the bar, you not long followed behind him, finding him with his fresh drink, still just leaning against the bar, not in any hurry to return to the group.

you tapped him lightly on the shoulder, your face soft with concern as he turned to look at you, his face still stone like and stern looking.

"arthur? you've been quiet all night, everything okay?" you asked, speaking loud enough for him to hear you over the music but tone still soft with care.

"mhm. i'm fine," he responded dryly, taking another drink of the disaronno and coke, which you only knew he was drinking as you could smell the sweetened almond from him.

"you sure? 'cause you don't seem great, and i don't want you to be uncomfortable if you're not feeling it, i mean-" you said softly, on your tip toes now so you could speak without shouting to arthur, leveling to his height.

"surprised you even noticed anything was up." he murmured, tone slightly bitter.

you furrowed your eyebrow slightly, quirking your head as you rested back on your heels, "what'd'you mean?" you asked, still calm toned but curious now at the snarky comment he had just made.

"just forget about it, don't wanna do this right now in the middle of a busy bar," he practically hissed out, and you had to pause for a moment.

"do what? what, sorry, arthur? i-i don't understand?" you said, clear confusion written across your face.

"oh of course you don't understand, cause you've done nothing, right?" he bit back, almost sounding vicious.

you were taken aback by his bluntness, the way his eyes had hardened when they fixated on you. your mind was racing as you tried to think of what to say, or decipher what he meant.

she hadn't seen arthur like this, ever. kind, easygoing arthur who was always the first to make her smile if she was upset, had suddenly become some stranger.

"arthur... what are you talking about?" you managed to murmur out, bewildered by his sudden anger at me.

he took a deep breath, his eyes still hardened, "you know exactly what i'm talking about," he spat out, looking down at you for a moment, "the way you flirt with everyone, like it's some twisted game or joke. it's fucking annoying."

"i... are you serious? i haven't been flirting with anyone, i've been friendly." you said, feeling a slight surge of anger but trying your best to keep yourself level, more feeling confusion and hurt.

"friendly, really? so complimenting chris all night, dancing and telling secrets with george and letting arthur buy you drinks all night is friendly?" he snapped back, taking another swig of his drink.

"yes, it's fucking friendly! you usually act the exact same around me, it's nothing! arthur bought me a couple of drinks to be nice, i was dancing with george because he noticed i wasn't joining in," you retorted back, your breathing slightly heavier, "i haven't done anything wrong and you're being mean to me for no reason," you murmured under your breath.

"god, you're infuriating, do you know that? y-you're a complete headfuck!" he snapped back.

you felt stunned. he was angry at you, over what exactly? the air felt thick, heavy and charged, and you could feel the beat of the music on the floor of the bar, feeling your eyes welling up slightly, blinking as quick as you could in an effort to hold tears back. "you're being ridiculous, arthur," you finally managed to say, your voice slightly trembling.

"i'm being ridiculous? you know what i'm talking about, it's like you're trying to provoke something," he scoffed, his voice ever so slightly softened, possibly due to the obvious distress on your face.

you sighed, and stopped yourself from looking up at him, instead looking at the floor for a moment, before turning around and letting yourself leave.

the bar only felt smaller and smaller, and you desperately needed air, as soon as you got outside, you let yourself lean against the wall, breathing deeply in hopes to stop tears rolling down your face.

arthur had watched you walk away, seeing your small frame slightly hunched and your head low, feeling a sharp pang of guilt. he finished his drink in a large gulp, taking a deep breath, he knew he had to go out, face the music and make things right.

he weaved through the crowd, focused on getting outside to find wherever you had headed, as soon as he turned the corner and out the door, he saw you leaned against the wall, fingers threaded through your own hair, and felt his chest ache at the sight of you so worked up.

"i'm sorry. i know i was being a dick." arthur's eyes softened, voice barely above a whisper as she looked up to him, her eyes still wide and welled with tears.

"you were." you said softly, your own voice small and simple.

his head hung low, "i-i just felt jealous."

"jealous?" you murmured, barely able to make eye contact with him, eyes instead scanning the street.

his face flushed slightly in embarrassment, "i-i know its stupid, i couldn't help it. since, uh, when we got together, every time i see you just being sweet and funny around everyone i get like, a stupid jealous feeling. and i know that's no ones fault but my own, cause i was the one who told you to act like nothing happened, so i know i had no right to be angry even if you were flirting with anyone, but i just... suppose i was worried about messing anything up," he paused, almost bating his breath, "thought i would just forget about it and it would pass by but... yeah, i couldn't really forget about it."

"oh." you paused for a moment, letting your eyes wander from the street to him, his apology hanging in the air. "i liked you before we got together, you know? sounds silly, but the morning we woke up together, i had really thought we would be... something. i don't know, it was the first time i felt like someone showed me affection, real affection. then you said we should probably just forget about it and it took every muscle in my body to smile and pretend to agree that that was for the best." you said quietly, slightly embarrassed by the admission, but you felt like it was just something you had to get off your chest.

"i don't know why i ever said that." arthur admitted, his voice slightly deeper and quieter, swallowing a thick lump in his throat, "do you want to know something? i don't like waking up next to people, or sleeping in beds with people. not usually, anyway. but i don't know, you were just there and it felt like all i wanted to do was look at you or play with your hair and trace outlines on your skin. i know i sound silly right now."

"you don't sound silly." you reassured. "it's nice to hear. i figured you didn't like it, and that's why we pretended it didn't happen."

"please, can we.. you know, forget that we ever tried to forget it happened? i don't want to pretend it didn't happen. i'd like to take you out, and be domestic with you again."

the two head into Mont Blanc's Cremé Republic boutique, full of elaborate outfits and icings. Magnificent gowns and robes for all cookies of any size or age.

Looking around, shadow milk cookie sets his gaze upon some intricate designed clown themed dresses, the feminine side of him SCREAMING for a better outfit to better convey her inner beauty that she somehow shows on the outside. Speaking of that, the two lovers separated allows for shadow milk to be all alone.

As he admires the outfits, shyly picking at the icing upon them, pretending in his head to just be buying them for his minion daughter candy apple cookie. However none of these outfits are really at all in her style and are more of a black sapphire type outfit. He does intend on getting his dear dolly a nice suit or robe to make him look as angelic as he should be.

Without notice a cookie appeared next to him, a young lady. She had pale blonde hair and strawberry blond coloured dress with white frills. Her hair tied in a messy bun with a cherry hair tie. Her dress had brown chocolate flecks and her neck had a chocolate bar as the centre of her bow tie. She introduced herself to shadow milk, it's hard to tell if she's a mere customer or a worker

Coincidentally catching her looking at him, she seemingly looks away and hides in her hand, her face flushing red. It confuses him on why she's behaving so weird. Utterly clueless to her advances and clear interest, he gently brushes past her and goes to look at some other dresses.

she follows, albeit discreetly. Gently, ever so often she inches closer and boom she's next to him again. He notices it and she laughs. He talks, she laughs or fidgets with her hair or her dress. Battering her eyelashes innocently at him. Speaking sweetly or softly, looking at his eyes. Curiously asking him things, getting to know him but it's mostly lies. Her face blushed and lips stammering as she speaks. The hearts in her eyes is something "blueberry cookie" can't recognise.

he innocently yet accidentally touches her hand as he checks out a dress, she yelps and jumps back in surprise. Looking at him with a bashful look.

cg: o-oh my! Haha sorry..! *She slinks back towards the other dresses further away from him in her embarassment*

Not a boyfriend named "Blueberry cookie". I mean what? Is the king of all cookies cheating on his girlfriend? This cookie doesn't even look like her. He has faded almost grey blue dough not powder blue with a teal tint dough! He has a marking on his eye, she didn't. She had blue and off white teal frosting. He has blue and black frosting.

It doesn't make sense!

But that doesn't seem to be pure vanilla cookie's issue.

He gently wraps his arm around "Blueberry cookie's" as cherry garcia continues to blabber on to her clear crush. At least clear to him not who she likes who's still clueless. It's frustrating and teeth grinding to pure vanilla cookie. "Just notice and we can leave because she's weird" he thinks. He grumbles internally. The eyes on him glaring at her with looks of vitriol and hatred. The aggressive glare in his slit eyes as he looks down upon his enemy.

this innocent little cookie with her love struck eyes, lusting for HIS boyfriend. Fills him with rage. A rage only the eyes that show his true emotions can display as showing it on his face would be a terrible look for a king. He's more relieved this anger isn't on camera. paparazzi would eat this up

That's his. HIS cookie. "My cookie" he thinks. They were meant to be together. Forever. As he gently fidgets with "Blueberry cookie's" hair. His subtly fading with each insecurity filled second. Cherry garcia cookie is quite pretty, pure vanilla cookie worries his supposed beauty won't beat hers and this witch will claim his other half.

"blueberry cookie" looks over at his sunshine. Seeing the hateful look in his many eyes. But the nervous yet seemingly forced happy look on his face. He glares down cherry garcia cookie. Why? He wonders. The gripping and trying to pull away must mean something as he observes. It then clicks in his brain.

Pure vanilla cookie is jealous. Immensely jealous. He's being possessive of what's his but neither "blueberry cookie" or cherry garcia cookie notices. But he just did. He is JEALOUS and that's just precious!...I wonder. How far could he be pushed into his jealously and resentment....How..far.. could he be shoved into acting out?

so "blueberry cookie" conjures up a plan. He starts by complimenting and being friendly, not flirty but just kind to cherry garcia cookie, which she laps up. Hook line and sinker she took the bait. A girl as desperate as she is being would easily mistake a mere kind gesture as a flirt. Her blatant attempts at getting her hopeless romantic self a date is futile until now, hope fills her heart and while it hurts to this to her, she hasn't explicitly asked nor attempted anything.

She gently moves ever closer, resting her hand on "blueberry cookie's" elbow. He hates the sensation of her touch her weirdly textured silky cream gloves upsets him. But the feeling of pure vanilla cookie's grip growing ever tighter is much more thrilling and a great distraction. He wants this cookie erased from history he's that jealous. The look on his bashful face trying to conceal his anger is exciting. It tickles him just the right way. his wings puff up and wrap around him, the soft yet warm feathers cuddling up to his cold dough feels like a zap of electricity to his beating heart.

This wave of excitement at his sunshine possessing and claiming him, the idea of him trying to mark him with his powdery white wings, stain his arm and bruise it with his obssessive grip.

That kiss at the diner was already a thrill now this. He can't even actually try or do anything, it must be eating at him. Gnawing at him. Killing him and it feels so good.

"blueberry cookie" smirks at his sunshine before going in for the kill he *GASPS* shakes cherry garcia cookie's hand to thank her for being so kind to him. It KILLS pure vanilla cookie inside.

he finally has had enough, he can't take anymore. His hands wrap TIGHTLY around "Blueberry cookie's" arm and he begins to drag him away.

pv: my apologies cherry garcia cookie but we have to leave! We have VERY important matters to attend to! Good bye! *Drags shadow milk off*

The two leave the store, without purchasing a thing which is unfortunate.

DAMIAN WAYNE SCHOOL HEADCANONS because school opened like 2-3 weeks ago and i need to cope

•since he is 15 years old, he is in 10th grade(not letting dc pull a tim drake and make him the same age forever)

•he used to love chemistry in the 9th grade because the first subject was alchemy if i remember correctly(dc can pry the "al ghuls are alchemists" hc(canon) from my cold dead hands)

but he lost interest in chemistry quickly after the subject passed.

•his all time favourite classes are math and art. im just sure damian's type of person that doesnt separate math and art from eachother

•why art is his favourite is a given but his favourite is math because math is a class based on problem solving(and also because he can do math easily)

but yeah ik his classmates are very very annoyed whenever he says "math is easy"

•I imagine him arguing with his english teacher the most for some reason. there is no reason other than damian is a very educated kid about the english literature(literature in general) so either he doesnt care or he correct his teacher on literally everything.

•i feel like he would either do a very detail research about the book he read and write a very long essay, or make a very short one and not enough detailed. no in between(because he misunderstood his teachers when they said to "keep it short")

•he begged his father to let him take an exam that lets him skil grades based on his level but his father refused so now he takes advanced math etc.

•him and duke see eachother in the morning regularly(insomniac duke, and damian who wakes up at 5.30 is real) and they sit down to talk about random shit till 7 am mostly(duke explained him the fnaf lore and damian talked about creepypastas real)

•he texts with maps both on their way to their separate schools and make plans to meetup after school to just hang out

•damian usually reads or draws in most of the classes since he already knows everything they are teaching but when asked a question, he does yap a lot(dc should bring back yapper damian ngl)

•bathroom breakdowns were very real for 9th grade damian(literally canon event for everyone with social anxiety or people who get overstimulated at school)

•still bullied just doesnt care about it and insults them/messes with them back to get back at the bullies(it stops after him also messing with them)

•he loves playing football and volleyball but not with his teammates(ik hes #3 frat boy hater i just feel it) so he only gets along with 2 of his teammates. i imagine their personality as scott and stiles from teen wolf so yeah

•has one(1) friend and two(2) teammates he doesnt hate in total(girlfailure and girlsuccess damian youre real to me🙌😼)

also he got multiple friends outside of school anyways lmao bro is anything BUT anti-social(to me hes also the type to join his schools projects etc or debate teams)

•he always calls his mother when he makes it to school and whenever hes leaving it because talia worries and he wants ease her worries(ultimate mother daughter duo)

i've been considering doing an AJ au but then i found out that AJC and AJPW are somehow connected and it confused me so I considered rebuilding my au lore from the ground up but then i was wondering if it was doing too much and if i should just make sense of canon i'd like some advice ^w^'

In my personal opinion, I think aus are somewhat meant to be a lot of things; whether it's changing the main story line almost entirely or adding things that you want in there to help the canon out a little. There's not really a right or wrong, as long as it stays true to the canon somehow. Okay let's yap

For example, you could literally go off the canon story entirely and base a whole oc around that canon world, just make sure for others who might wanna look into it know it's still that canon world!

For animal jam however, it's a bit more hard, but it gets easy! Then hard again— it's like a rollercoaster with barely any stops

For my au, P&F, it's a mix of both animal jam worlds (classic and play wild) because even if they're both separate and sometimes the same, they're technically more different than anything story ish wise

But I manage to combine certain elements from each game, making what I truly want from it

But it can't stay like that forever sometimes if the story gets officially updated or adds something that might ruin a plot in your story. So don't really be afraid to make changes if you're wanting to stick with more updated AJ content

Another thing I do for my au is to establish certain characters, events, and most pop-out stories I find intriguing!

I can't say much about this one since my au is still technically a WIP but it's out there.. :]

But anyways, if you're gonna go with what I do, which is use most of the canon story lines and combine it into one just with a pinch of more creativity and some original stuff, I would suggest developing the canon characters and their settings

Depending on what you wanna make for your au, the canon character could have more personality then it's original

I will have to admit, I have done that with some but I keep it close to what their personality is as possible

What I also like to add to canon characters is their own story! Especially for animal jam when you don't really get the right answers.

A good example of what I mean is Greely's adopted family!

It's not much, it barely impacts the story for Jamaa, but it impacts him and his choices later on when he grows :] which is always fun to do!

Let's see... Another thing to help get an au going is by looking at things that would inspire you!

Like other people's aus, songs, even books, hell even the canon stuff might help out!

There is a lot of "canon" animal jam stuff that a lot of people don't really know about like the comics and books for animal jam!

And yeah, there's not a lot of animal jam aus but I have seen some around here and there! Best ones I would look into art pieces for is @bootleggreely , @prztails , and @vioblu-star, they're all really cool artists with interesting stories for animal jam stuff :]

(probably forgetting a whole bunch but yet I wrote this at like 2 am)

Then there's music/songs, the reason why I mentioned such is because it helps me create a scenario in my head when I listen to them! It even help me discover some new ideas I barely knew I could develop!

Another thing to keep in mind is that you don't really have to go all the way with aus, take your time!! It helps a lot, even when you feel stressed over it. Take breaks, you don't always need to focus on animal jam stuff for the au! You don't even need to make a whole book for it, you can just do what I most of the time do and just draw out stuff you like from your stories so far! Even if people don't know the full context!!

Change is always good too! Let me tell you, when I was younger in my animal jam little brain, I had such a mess of a story, now look where it is now! A bit better!

But let's give little me around of applause for predicting Moku'ahi 👏 (this thought still scars me)

Ooo and another thing, if you ever feel doubt in yourself with writing for the au, don't worry about it! You're doing great, but if you want a second opinion or two, ask for it! I'm sure people around you would provide answers if they know animal jam and care about some of the story :] it's always okay to ask for help! Don't be like me who hides in the corner and just writes and draws a lot 🌟

At the end of the day, this is your au, your story, your art pieces, your fun

I don't think you really read what I write, you see what you want to see, but I like to make consistent arguments and analysis, so I'll answer this for my own enjoyment.

Let's do it from the top.

Yeah, sure, Zen says 'if he was a woman'. Take that as you will. What IS hilarious, however, is that you decided to say they love each other as brothers in the same breath. Which is never ONCE canonically stated. Who does call Yoosung a 'little brother' is MC, and the 'if he was a woman' line comes specifically from an interaction when she does. And I will remind you, when she does, Zen answers with this:

Not only does he NOT call him a brother, his mind immediately turns to romance. This is a normal and hinged thing to say about someone you like as a 'brother', according to you. I should go ask my brother how he'd feel if I said shit like this about him. I don't think he'd like it.

But, again, interactions can be read in different ways. And I think we already overanalysed this one. We won't come to an agreement about it. The facts are the following:

Zen and Yoosung never refer to each other canonically as brothers;

Zen and Yoosung are not related, by blood or legally.

If you wanna be pedantic about it, Zen joined the RFA when he was 20, and Yoosung 17. They don't seem to have interacted much right off the bat, Zen wasn't really a willing participant in the RFA, and he wasn't extremely friendly, per se, as evidenced by the Christmas DLC. They likely first met in person at the second RFA party, when Yoosung was 18 and Zen 21, and picked things up starting around there. Somewhere after that, as mentioned by Yoosung, they got so close that they would just call each other to yap on the phone about everything and nothing. For all intents and purposes, they indeed are two unrelated adults who care for each other very much. Or, friends. There is such a format of relationship, besides romantic and familial. And friendship sometimes blooms on its own, and sometimes it does bloom into romance. Believe it or not, like it or not.

On that note, who Zen does explicitly say reminds him of his brother is Jumin. Out of curiosity, do you go after juzen shippers?

Your next question is 'would I ship V with the twins'. What if a mouse drove a Honda Civic, amirite? V/Chois is not a good choice to exercise your whataboutism, because it has literally zero in common with yoozen, but I will entertain you. I don't think I'd ship it. In part, it's because V, a rich young adult, met the twins when they were fifteen and poor, and was quite heavily present in at least Saeyoung's life starting from there, but also because he had immense power over them, financial, connectional, and informational. However, that is not, and was never, the case with Yoosung and Zen. So I don't see how not shipping V with the Chois while shipping Yoosung with Zen would be hypocritical of me.

Besides, that ship just lacks substance to me because I don't see the dynamic necessary.

Also, V is barely a 'father'. At best, he's a shitty irresponsible guardian, but that's a question for a different discussion.

Up next: I don't write Saeyoung smoking or drinking alcohol, I don't know why you felt the need to ask me that. Everything I write or draw about the mysme characters, I like to keep canon-compatible. Saeyoung doesn't smoke or drink, his self-destruction takes on other forms.

And finally, my favourite thing that you saved for last, and I did, too. Never have I once tried to 'force' you to be like me. I literally explicitly said 'you do your thing, I'll do mine', yet here you are, sending me anon rants about how wrong I am. I told you, I've been doing my character analysis, and I don't think I'm misinterpreting any of them. I just stick by my opinion and my reading, is that a wrong thing to do in your books?

I'm not in power over anyone in this fandom, and I don't act like I am. You could probably say I'm normalising shipping Zensung. Which, well, maybe I am. But with that, what I think I am normalising is sweet friends-to-lovers dynamics, where both parties genuinely love and care about each other, engage in sexual and non-sexual intimacy with kindness and mutual admiration, learn from each other and are in active exchange. They have their own flaws and hangups, and sometimes they take it out on each other, but at the end of the day, they're able to tackle problems as a team. I want to see such relationships, and I write them. You can do the same with what you want.

I'm going to tell you this now... this gets really fucking crazy and honest to god I know I'm going to have a hard time explaining this. It WILL be quite long and I WILL be yapping.

This AU is really just something we did on impulse and it's really fun to mess around with, so I'm hoping you all will enjoy the concept as well :)

Anyways, okay so imagine how one could do a bg3 AU for these two fuckers...

And throw it right out the window because you'll never guess how me and my friend have done it.

The Backstory:

This all started when my friend decided to play BG3 for the first time, and he jokingly said to me "Should I make Maxie our main character??" and I replied "I you want, but I won't force you" and thus BG3 Maxie was created, and his misadventures began.

Now your probably wondering (if you've played the game) what about the guardian?? Who did we make the guardian?? Well, we made Archie the guardian. However, I did not know just how wild this idea would get within the next few days.

So, eventually we realized how crazy the BG3 lore actually is (it's a like fucking DnD campaign idk how we didn't realize this beforehand), and so, we jokingly started our own "AU Lore" that ties in with the BG3 Lore.

If you really want to know, I have an entire note in my notes app dedicated to keeping track of what happens. It is very long.

The Parasite:

Now, if you've played the game or know anything about it, you know about the Mindflayer parasites. Well, one fateful day, me and my friend joked that the Parasite in Maxie's head was this little freak who looks like Archie.

The two have no correlation other than looks, its completely coincidence and it's not a mimic situation. The Parasite "Archie" does nothing but talk nonsense to Maxie all the time, and initially the bit was that he only talked about Fortnite. All because I made the joke that the dream realm in game looked like a fortnite update. By now, that bit has fallen off (thank god), replaced by just general nonsense and lies.

Also he fucking looks like this:

Weird little freak. This is just one of his talk sprites I have, this is just his neutral expression.

So basically it's:

- Maxie was supposed to be on a Geology research trip, but instead he got dragged into the Parasite issue with the rest of the companions. He really just wants to get home to Archie.

I am the one who handles everything for Maxie in this AU, I do his voice, I handle his lore, etc.

- Parasite Archie is this 1 foot tall, neco arc-esque version of Archie that sits on Maxie's shoulder and tells him nonsensical things. He also says Maxie's name wrong, he says Maxie's full first name and pronounces it as "Maximilliam" instead of the "N" at the end. For Maxie it's like handling a toddler but the toddler fights back, doesn't shut up, and threatens your life. He also has a ton of his own lore that my friend continously adds on to, so I can make another post with just the parasite's part of things.

My friend handles everything with the Parasite himself, comes up with the lore, does the voice, etc. I simply keep track of it.

- The "dream visitor" version of Archie is not real either. It's linked to the Parasite in ways that if I get into it, I will spoil a good chunk of the game. Sorry. Just know you can consider this and Parasite Archie kind of as one in the same almost.

- The REAL Archie is still at home, completely unaware of what's happening, while Maxie is fighting for his life. He does miss him, though, and hopes he gets home soon. He and Maxie are only boyfriends, they haven't gotten married yet. (They also haven't been through their rivalry yet, as this all takes place before that happens.)

Sorry for the convoluted yap sesh, I just have more art planned for this stupid AU and- God I cannot possibly just post this shit with no context. Like, I'd have to explain it eventually so I might as well do it now beforehand yk 😭😭

I might do separate posts with our HCs and some silly conversations that have happened between Parasite Archie and Maxie if you guys would want that :)

warnings!!! Spoilers! For the end of The Novel's extra and stuff under the cut! also i yap. SOOOOO much. (+bonus drawings to beg for ur forgiveness TT)

so backstory? I finished the novel and lost my fucking mind at the ending. I was GUTTED that such a small group of people remembered Hajin and that Suho wasn't one of them despite LITERALLY FINDING OUT HIS WORLD IS A NOVEL AND HAJIN IS GOD !!! like that is canon! and yet! he doesn't get to remember him! i felt wronged.

My inspiration hit me in the middle of the night in which i wrote two simple sentences before falling asleep.

There's a number on his smartwatch that leads to nowhere. Suho's gotten in the habit of texting it throughout his day. Today, it texted back.

"k1ng, isn't that just the description of MTN?" why yes, yes it is. because i was NOT gonna make a new summary when the original inspiration worked so well

And for what drove me to actually continue writing it when I had (literally) a dozen other ideas for TNE fanfics?

Not sure, actually. I just kinda got inspired, wrote another hundred words and it sort of grew from there. Then i had to make a outline for what I wanted from the story and the ORIGINAL plan was for 2-3 chapters in total of a quick, sweet reunion.

Then I wrote 7k words for the first chapter and 14k for the second. You can see where that went down the drain.

So, to summarize, 1) Finished the novel, hated the ending. 2) Wrote a prompt I ended up liking. 3) Got WAY too deep into it to stop

The title... the title... well originally the title was Mountain to Nowhere. Super similar to Mountain to No One, right? WRONG. Mountain to Nowhere was just a name that sounded nice, felt vaguely interesting and was easy to remember (it's also why i shorthand it to MtN instead of MtNO, it's what i called it in the drafting phase).

Mountain to No One, though, that's different. It doesn't roll off the tongue as easily, implies something FAR different than 'nowhere' and honestly felt more meaningful to me.

I might sound pretentious (if I haven't already) but when I write 'No One', I think of it like the myth of Odysseus. He used the name Outis (Nobody or No One) so i just kinda nabbed it, figuring someone might make the connection one day. I fr thought, "Oh i am COOKING" because i did basic comparisons between two morally ambiguous heroes with hidden identities and (questionably) good intentions. Kim Hajin and Odysseus. but i mean, i wasn't wrong. i was kinda cooking with that one

So 'No One' refers to Kim Hajin. The title essentially means 'Mountain to Kim Hajin' which is why it felt more meaningful than 'mountain to nowhere' which did NOT have that background when i thought it up

Posting my op81 x ln4 prompt bc its been collecting dust in my notes app ever since my plane ride last week. ( might draw it out just for fun )

WUXIA AU 814

Where the f1 teams are like different sects in this au. Obviously 814 are in Mclaren sect, maybe its centered around chi / long distance weaponry( wtf am i saying but yeah ). ln4's the shixiong in this situation and op81 has this huge crush on him ever since he was little and he kept following ln4 like a duckling ( omg i can imagine a child op81 with fluffy hair bouncing around as he follows the yapping ln4 around the sect grounds, everybody watching these 2 could only laugh fondly )

Anyways every few months (?) all the sect gathers around and holds these competitions to find out whos the best. It's a fun gathering meant to better the relationship between sects but everybody cant help but be super competitive ( could imagine the rivals to lovers between 116 too HAHA ). These competitions are like intended for a certain age and above ( maybe 17? or 18....), and like the thing is ln4's friendly right so everytime he bounces around his friends in this competition, you could see op81 behind him glowering at people who got too close to ln4 ( see: teen cs44 being stared down by child op81 as ln4 was talking happily towards cs44, the 2019 drivers + cl16 are snickering and giggling at this scene. cs44 could only sweatdrop )

OKAY ANYWAYS the cliche angst part..

maybe ln4 has always liked op81 back but bc op81's younger than him lowk he feels like he doesnt deserve him and that op81 deserves someone better and younger. ( LN4 SHUT UP UR SO PRETTY ) Ln4's also super oblivious so he doesnt know op81 looks at him like he's his entire universe and he doesnt believe his friends when they tease him of op81 liking him back.

ln4 notices how theres a lot of people starting to like op81 after he won the archery game during a intersect competition. ( FUCKKK imagine op81 with a concentrated face and his strong arms holding the bow ( THE BICEPS... ) i understand ln4 so bad rn ). ln4's almost pouting all the time now, and yk ln4 being ln4 he become a brat and starts walking faster and running away everytime he sees op81 walking towards him ( with his perfect swoopy hair and big smile, ln4 died a little at that moment. cause of death ? op81 being too ethereal 😔 ).

Op81 notices this behaviour and YOU COULD IMAGINE IF HE HAS A DOG TAIL+EARS, HIS EARS AND TAIL DROOPING DOWN 💔. He starts overthinking and he goes to ls a lot bc hes like sad that ln4 wasnt with him ( ls2 is lowk exasperated with these 2 because he also hears a lot of ln4's perspective from aa23 and gr33 ( my throuple 🫶🏻 ), he wonders why the world made the most lovesick duo so dumb and blind, i mean its better than whatever the hell is going on with 116 but everybody's already used to them atp )

OK 2 potential angst scenarios now

a. Love rival! Somebody approached op81 and got like super close ( idk if i should make it that they're just friends or if they should date briefly ). Anyways, the typical jealous!ln4 happens. Or the other way around is also funny haha

b. Hurt/Comfort. Maybe red bull sect gained too much power and they were like, yeah lets attack mercedes or ferrari ( BONUS POTENTIAL 114 ANGST TOO) anyways mclaren also got involved and uhm yeah fight scenes. Either one of them got injured and like its a slow motion happening bc it happened right in front of the other. Panic ensues and yalah the usual dont die please i havent told you i love you yet, but maybe make it funny because the hurt one was like you dumbass, shouldve told me sooner smh. They then smooched and then healed together bc nobody's dying today !

It's fascinating how many One Piece fans are bigots… I know that a lot of people watch things just for fun and don't bother to understand the essence of the story beyond the fights or "aura" moments. However, I am concerned about how far it can go. To call yourself a One Piece fan while being homophobic, transphobic, racist, etc. you have to ignore 95% of the story. One Piece is extremely in your face with its themes so for you to be any of these things, you have to skip every moment that explains the lore, every character arc aside from cool fighting sequences, and even then you have to ignore what each fighter represents and stands for. Or, as is the case with the vast majority of anime watchers, you'd have to be the dumbest of the dumbest to not get the message of the story because, I'll say it again, One Piece is very direct about it. At this point, the only thing missing is a character looking directly into the camera and spelling out "Government bad."

"Oh, but it's fiction, not reality!" That makes the matter even worse… Like are you really telling me that you can root for pixels on the screen to be free and have rights but you draw the line at real humans facing very real oppression? It's especially funny when it comes from YouTubers and TikTok who are supposed to be analyzing the series. I'm sorry, but I won't take you or your 15-minute yap session seriously if you don't hold the same views in reality. What can you as a transphobe and homophobe tell me about Bon Clay, revolutionaries, Yamato, and others? Why should I value your opinion about Arlong Park and Fisher Tiger if you simultaneously like the tweets of white supremacists and call Romani people thieves and throw slurs at them? How can I not laugh so hard that tears start running down my face when you are trying to sound eloquent and profound in criticizing the Navy and Celestial Dragons while also licking the government's booth in real life? These people would look into the camera with their fancy equipment and use the vocabulary Shakespeare used in his plays to try to explain what Shandia represents, only to post "I stand with I*rael" or say that Native Americans need to get over what happened to them. My friend, you are not the unbothered king who can separate fiction from reality, you are just dumb as a brick.
