i love love LOVE ghostface!sam (and sam in general) so thank you for the request i’m so obsessed with her 😵‍💫😵‍💫 ghostface!sam x fem!reader (can also be read as gn!reader)

sam was never one for big crowds, and now with you on her mind, she’s even less of a fan. she trusts you, of course, but she doesn’t trust anyone else not to pay attention to you… at parties, she always makes sure to be by your side the entire time. when you introduce yourself to someone at the party, she keeps one of her fingers in the belt loop of your pants as you shake their hand— just to make sure you’re still safe, of course. she’s hyper focused on everyone around you, and she’s especially intent on those who get a bit too close. sure, you know about her “hobbies,” and sure, you met a few specific people that went missing shortly after, but that wasn’t really any of your business…

ever since she acquired the mask, she was never that big a fan of halloween… too many posers and wannabes that could never measure up to her. she didn’t care for all the ghostface 2.0s on the street, but she did care when someone was using it to act like an idiot. every time she saw someone with a ghostface mask trip over their gown or run into their friends, she scoffed. as if they could embarrass themselves even more, they had to do it in her name.

“sammy, you know those kids are like 13, right? they aren’t a threat.”

“they’re a threat to my ego,” she mumbled, kicking a rock in front of her. “i mean, look at them! look at the way they hold their knives! i don’t hold them like that.” she crossed her arms as you both walked. “amateurs.”

“they didn’t even do anything to you.”

“they’re embarrassing me.”

despite the rumors around town, sam had never really officially been caught as ghostface, so they stayed that way: rumors.

people still talked, though.

they also liked to talk about how you were dating her— the psychopath whose father was a murderer. they didn’t just talk about you, though. they talked to you.

sam wouldn’t let that slide though. eventually, one by one, it was like each person got picked off the streets. you noticed when sam would come home late the nights when they went missing, but you never asked.

she’s always been possessive, but it progressed into more protectiveness (and sometimes a bit of paranoia) when it came to her ghostface persona.

bonus: sometimes she likes cuddling in the ghostface fit (sans mask so she can burrow in your neck) because she thinks it’s comfy and feels like she can cocoon around you even more.

I LOVE YOUR HEAT HEADCANNONS SO MUCH😭I love the idea of the crew gathering around him with random objects as he juggles seeing how many they can toss at him to catch and add to the juggle before it becomes too much (who would’ve known that someone can’t juggle 500 things plus a cannonball *shrug*)

This is the funniest addition ever, actually can't stop laughing at the image of people just throwing objects at him with no context.

It would be discovered that Heat can juggle a couple of months into joining Kid on the Victoria Punk because he has a tendency to subconsciously juggle anything that he's holding if he's bored, zoned out or just feeling stressed. Juggling reminds him of his family back home and his happy memories from the circus before his childhood probably went to shit so it definitely relaxes him a lot. However, just because it relaxes him and he enjoys doing it doesn't make it any less terrifying the first few times he does it in front of the other Kid Pirates.

For example, the first time Heat gets caught juggling would involve knives. It's a few weeks into sailing with the Kid Pirates and even though he's known the founding members most of his life, they haven't really spent a lot of time together in close proximity until getting on the Victoria Punk so they all don't know each other's quirks or habits yet. (Like how Wire pats doorframes before entering a room and that Killer wears fluffy bear slippers in the morning until he's finished breakfast). So Heat would be sitting in the kitchen with the others when Killer asks him to help peal some potatoes for lunch because he's too busy to multitask for once; and Heat who is incredibly reliable does it very quickly. Now he's just sat there with knives and he's a little bit bored so he starts juggling them whilst leaning over to read the newspaper over Wire's shoulder. But poor Wire looks over to talk to his friend and instead is greeted by four knives spinning a few inches from his face, so he does the nature thing and lets out a very high scream.

This happens several other times with various sharp objects and items Heat really should not be touching when he could potentially drop them (namely, the ship's log pose) before an intervention is staged and he's banned from juggling certain objects in certain spaces out of fear. He is allowed to juggle whatever he wants if he's safely off the Victoria Punk and not near any animal or child (namely Dive) he could injure. He's also allowed to juggle weapons in fights as Kid has learnt a 7ft+ tall man twirling flaming batons and guns usually unnerves most opponents and encourages them to run away.

The Kid Pirates all trust him though and having eventually during their journeys together heard stories of Heat's circus days, delighting in throwing various 'safe' objects for him to juggle and playing games to see how much he can actually juggle on drunk party nights. They also love just bringing him random objects and weirdly shaped things they find to see if he'll be able to juggle it without issues. The answer to this is always yes. Except for the time Bubblegum silently handed him two dildos with no explanation and Heat didn't realise what he was holding at first then got startled, throwing one of them at Kid's head by accident. Despite all of this, they have given up counting how many different things he can juggle at once because they always loose track.

Heat does enjoy that they all see the fun and humour in his juggling, as well as his trapeze and tightrope walking skills, it reminds him of why he loved growing up in the circus. It especially reminds him of his family whenever Dive comes up to him with random gifts when she's bored or lonely, quietly asking if he'll juggle for her or teach her some of his skills.

Heat's circus skills just bring endless hours of fun to the crew and allow them all to bond, when he's not twirling knives and sticks he's lit on fire. It also lets him practise so he couldn't be happier to entertain the Kid Pirates with his skills.

Summary: Jason is teaching (Y/N) about blades, even things that Bruce doesn't like. Bruce has no evidence.

Ever since Bruce and family reached a compromise with the dulled down blades, Jason has become a main teacher and mentor for (Y/N). And Bruce had to admit, Jason was a good teacher. He made sure to really show (Y/N) what the blades can do. When they are not taken care of, he showed it to (Y/N).

(Y/N) was horrified when he saw the uncared blades.

Also, he showed to (Y/N) what happens when you don't hold the blade properly, you can cut yourself. And Jason intentionally cut himself once to show (Y/N). Bruce wasn't sure whether to be impressed or not. And Jason made sure to teach (Y/N) to never use them on people. Ever.

But he had to agree, Jason was a good teacher. He was patient with (Y/N), explaining everything multiple times if necessary. And he made sure that (Y/N) wasn't hurt. That was one of the things that Bruce had said to Jason.

But he didn't say nor specified what not to teach him.

So, Jason had a free reign of what to teach (Y/N). It was always a fun when Jason had to switch from being a cool brother to a serious brother who followed the rules. It was honestly a very good thing that Bruce didn't catch on.

But Bruce did think that something was going on. Unfortunately, he couldn't specify what.

He was trying to walk in or just walk by, but every time he walked by the room where they practiced or just cared for the blades together. But every time he tried to do that, just quietly walked by, everything seemed fine, but Bruce knew something was off.

Maybe he could find out once. Did he really have to hatch a plan to catch one kid and one adult in his own house? Well, one adult who can be classified as a menace and a kid who is a magnet for trouble.

One day, Bruce was just walking down the hall. He heard Jason and (Y/N), spending time together. He smiled at the sound, but the words that Jason was saying were... Concerning.

" Okay, so, hold the handle. Now, I'm going to show you how to use it from behind. "

Bruce frowned at that. What the hell is Jason saying? He moved closer to the door.

" Okay, watch me. Just do this. And that's how you get somebody from behind. "

Bruce has heard enough to just enter. (Y/N) jumped, but Jason remained calm. As if he heard Bruce coming.

" (Y/N), can you go find Dick? I think he is the garden. " Bruce said to the young boy.

" Am I in trouble? " (Y/N) asked, probably sensing that Bruce's was angry.

" You're not in trouble. I just need to talk to Jason. Adult talk. "

" Is he in trouble? " (Y/N) asked, looking at Jason.

" No he isn't. " Bruce assured his son. (Y/N) gave both Bruce and Jason hugs before leaving to find Dick.

Once Bruce knew that (Y/N) was out of earshot, he turned to Jason.

" Why are you teaching him how to use a blade from behind? " Bruce asked, crossing his arms.

" Well, if he is ever in that situation, he needs to know that. " Jason defended himself.

" Jason, he's eight! " Bruce said, raising his voice a little.

" And your son! He has your last name! That's an automatic target on your back! " Jason said, defending himself with much more fervor.

Bruce sighed, knowing that there is some truth in there.

" Fair enough, but I don't need you to teach him how to kill. Teach him some self defense without a weapon then. " Bruce asked Jason.

" Okay, I understand that. But the man is the more interested in the blades rather than martial arts. " Jason said, crossing his arms.

" I know, but you can put some sort of bug in his ear. You can try. "

Jason sighed. " If you want me to try, but that kid is smart. He can sense shit. " Jason said.

" I am just asking you to try. "

" I will try to. "

Bruce thanked him and went to see what was happening with his son. His son doesn't need to know how to use those blades. Maybe when he is older, but most definitely not now.

11/8/24 [PARAGRAPH 3 & 4!!! — draft from sunday. key & significant photo/s at end]

woke up at 10:20 and made myself breakfast. i ate it outside with boris in the sun and tried my best to be productive while being on my phone [e.g, make a fursona/oc/journal entry etc.] but failed miserably. i just scrolled on tiktok and saved a few videos i could use for outfit inspiration. i went back inside after 30+ minutes, got dressed [skinless shirt, dark cargo jorts + matching bracelets consisting of spiked cuffs and band bracelets, motorbike socks] and looked up a couple can tab bracelet tutorials. i know that i don’t have enough for the particular design i want to make, but i’m getting there. my dad’s sister, my aunt, has multiple pepsis a day and has been collecting can tabs for me.

i went back next door with my sister after giving up on the bracelet for the moment and saying goodbye to boris. when i arrived i just sat on my own while my sister went on the swings. a group of girls my age walked past and laughed at me and after a few minutes i got called over with the other kids to make a keyring. i honestly much preferred that but i think the staff thought i was a part of the actual camp anyways so i don’t think i had much choice either way. i picked out a star shaped template and a blue floral sticker to go on it. i stuck it on, but couldn’t cut around the star completely — so i put it in my bag for another time at home where i can use one of those tiny knives to carve all the imperfections out.

once id done i went back over to the bouncy castle. this time round, only 8 people were allowed on it at a time and this younger girl was being really bratty about it, as in acting like she owned the place, which was odd, because yesterday it was fine and nothing bad happened. but kids are just like that. she kept on going around to people and launching herself onto them, she also decided to boot me over and over again on my bruised shin which was fun 😭. i tried telling her we don’t even know eachother and ive just been sitting there but she didn’t care. she kicked me and almost everyone else off using her sister that was my age so i got off and just sat beside it while people watching.

the same member of staff from the keyrings sat next to me and just exclaimed ‘panic! at the disco?’ — reffering to my panic! band bracelet. i nodded and she started speaking about liking that type of music too. more when she was younger, but she’s still into it, she said. she took out her phone and started asking me if i’ve been to see any live bands. i told her about me seeing the mcr + fall out boy tributes, pierce the veil, cavalera conspiracy, and my upcoming concerts. [slipknot, falling in reverse, possibly the tributes again but idk was its the day before fir]. she started speaking about how she has family in scotland and therefor goes to festivals there a lot and then casually says she’s seen fall out boy 4+ TIMES??? i literally could’ve curled up and died right there and then after hearing that come out of her mouth.

she also spoke to me about seeing slipknot 20 years ago, and then she showed me one of her friends instagram pages. then she came out with that that friend, has another friend, who is the sibling of someone from PIERCE THE VEIL?? WHAT THE FUCK. i was so taken aback but she unfortunately couldn’t remember what their name was because they were told years ago now — and she couldn’t find pictures of them together despite trying as the friend is a concert photographer and it’s importable to sort through the thousands of photos.

i out of interest asked if she’d seen linkin park and she said she did at milton keynes in 2008?? with jayZ?? RAAA. i got told that everyone was leaving in 30 minutes so i stayed speaking to her until people started loading themselves onto their coach and i set off for home. it was really cool speaking to that woman and its a shame i’ll probably never see her again or get to know any more info. although it was awesome meeting someone like me that was quite a lot older. when i got home i fussed boris on the driveway and had a 20 minute nap before leaving for my other aunts house [6pm]. i said goodbye to boris, and on the way to the car, my dad showed me this injured butterfly. it was a shame because it looked so young. i held it and then placed it onto a bush before leaving. since the concert, i’ve been listening to the setlist on repeat. so i obviously did even more on the way to my aunts, although the drive is really short. once i got there i stayed in the living room for a bit and greeted the family of mine that was there. there was only my grandad, his fiancé, my aunt + uncle, and one of my cousins girlfriends there. that cousin in question is on holiday, the other moved out, and the other also moved out. i didn’t really know what to speak about and my parents sparked a conversation between the others anyway so i went to see what my sister was up to. she was playing fnaf security breach so i watched her.

i had my phone out ready to record her getting jumpscared and i caught a video of her doing exactly that over moondrop. i’m surprised that i’ve never watched anyone play security breach before even though i was really excited when it came out. i don’t usually watch my sister play stuff unless it’s the last of us/the evil within/silent hill at 8:30 i stopped watching jay and went for a walk with my mum, dad, aunt, + grandads fiancé. [+ archie and my aunts dog, charlie.] we couldn’t be too long because charlie has bad diabetes and can’t do much now. we came across one of my aunts friends on our way, she accidentally called me he and didn’t correct herself which made me feel SO euphoric considering i’m not out.

she spoke about lifeguarding or something and once done, we went round to this field i used to always play in as a kid. i went in the park to spark some nostalgia and my dad pushed me on a swing for the first time since i was like 7. we walked for about 40 minutes. once i got back to my aunts i went on pinterest to look at some diys. i saved a photo example of how to make a can tab bracelet, a cardboard minecraft sword, a cardboard coffin shelf, a little fairy/elf house thing made up of pebbles, a cardboard direction sign, a bottlecap tortoise, and a number of other things i dont know how to explain. after i couldnt seem to find anything else, i watched my sister play fnaf a bit more. we had to leave so i stopped and got ready for home at 12.

i don’t really remember what i did when i got home, but it would’ve been the same as always. maybe a small nap, then obviously questions about boris, then i say goodnight to boris. i went to sleep at 3.

Kishi, however, threw him down the toilet at the nearest opportunity (which was just so 🤌bullshit🤌 I'm almost - almost- impressed) because he realised he Gone Fucked Up making this amazingly powerful character with no hint of him in prior work so 🤡 canon is dead, Shisui lives forever

Finn (Star Wars movies)

Anyone who's had the misfortune to follow me or has browsed my AO3 bookmarks knows I'm a wreck for Commander Cody and for Obi-Wan but I'm not choosing either of them? How??? Because Finn... FINN, he was literally raised to be canon fodder but he had this deep rooted fear that what they were doing was wrong and he didn't shoot and he took that fear and he knew he had to run. So often we wanna be brave in those moments but in actual fact we just panic, which is what Finn did... And yet he was so brave too? He saved Poe, he fought viciously for Ray, he joined the Rebellion, he met these people for minutes at a time but had already impressed them on his soul, on who he was going to be (and he'd only had a name as of that day???). Finn should've been the protagonist of that trilogy, the sequels were just...well, and I'll die on this hill that Finn's force sensitivity reaalllly should've meant something 😩 I love so many SWs characters but Finn is really the one that got me to actually attempt my own Fics too!

here are my thoughts and things and whatever translation weirdness I find as I re-read ch 5 of Trigun Maximum vol 6!

(NOTE: I'm reading the Dark Horse [physical] and the Overhaul [online] translations side-by-side)

I remember this chapter gets Heavy, so let's start with something silly - here after the title page:

it's not a translation thing, but I had to include a comparison so you can see that it's not, like...weirdness involving image compression or quality or whatever - it rly does say BUNCH GRASS SALOON there, and that just. tickles me. so much. it's so cute! and exotic-sounding, I'd imagine, if you live where anything that's everything that's publically accessible is desert.

now, getting into the 'meat' of this chapter, we have minor wording differences between translations for this all-important line. both make sense, but given the theme of this chapter (titled "Colorless Expression" in both translations), the Overhaul's wording choice is more fitting. das nuance, babey =u=

oh, another tiny thing that tickles me: when that kid tackles Vash, the Overhaul translates the name of the kid's 'attack' as "Flying Mid-air Crab Pinch" whereas Dark Horse calls it "Flying Volley Crab Pinch" - both very cute!

reading the Dark Horse translation, this bit of conversation always confused me - and it's moments like this where the Overhaul's is just. SO helpful. domfock has spoken on some of the translation choices that're made to clarify who's talking, and it looks like the above is one case of that. this happens a couple more times throughout the chapter, and I appreciate each and every one 💕

FIRST: this bounty hunter's name is Justin, so in my head, he is forever voiced by Justin McElroy goofing around 🤣

SECOND: timeline stuff!!! we now know that this chapter takes place 10 years after Lost July (which happened in the year 0104), making the "current" date sometime in the year 0114 - 1 year after we see Meryl in Trigun Maximum vol 1 (on her birthday in February 0113), and 4 years after Jeneora Rock (which happened in October 0110)!

SILLY THING: the label on the bottle reads "RED ROCK" - which also happens to be an irl soda company. it was founded in Atlanta a year before Coca-Cola was. also they make yummy grape soda =u=

SAD THING: I didn't get the significance of this part when I first read it as a teenager. I wasn't raised around alcohol - I thought this bit was just Vash being A Silly Lil Guy. reading this as an Adult who only very very very very very rarely chooses to consume An Alcohol, partially bc I know way too many ppl who struggle with substance abuse/addiction (ALCOHOL IS A DRUG)...Vash. 🥺

it goes right along with the "Colorless Expression" thing...

...oh, Overhaul. I hurt. using "people" thereby implying these townspeople don't even see Vash as a person... (you also gotta wonder - how many of these people were just in that church?) 🥲

then, there's an interesting difference in wording between the two translations after Milly asks Vash (in both translations) "How can you keep smiling like that?"

"look" VS "do" - it all comes down to nuance.

HHHHH OKAY. So. I’ve been sitting on this idea since April, and only now I’ve felt a little comfortable talking about it since I’ve mentioned it to @eris-ships. But also the developments that occur in TSA/NMH3ms narratives have def made me a bit more confident in my decision to talk about having fankids with Henry. Like look. I don’t want to have kids myself (it’s a whole can of worms that’s basically just: ‘I can barely take care of myself, how do you expect me to raise a whole human being from scratch?!’).

Anyways what kinda spurred this was from NMH3’s peculiar ending + these images [one, two and three] and the third one particularly made me want to throw my phone because it triggered my baby fever BIG TIME but also just the thought of Henry being a good dad made me so happy 😭😭

But also at the same time it’s so sad too especially With knowing the implications of his backstory and how his own childhood was taken from him, and so that’s what makes the thought of him being a dad SOO appealing to me. To me, he’d do anything to make sure his own kids don’t experience the same horrors and trauma he did as a kid. It’s like. Him making up for lost time that he never got and. GAH THAT MAKES ME SO EMOTIONAL?! [I’ve made an entire post about this here if you’re interested]

OKAY ON TO THE ACTUAL FANKIDS IN QUESTION:

Amelie (on the left) and Rhys (on the right). Before you ask, yes Amelie is named after the film ‘Amelie’ and it’s important because that film was like a special date night for Henry and Shallow.

The reason that they pop up in NMH3 is that they’ve time travelled back into Shallow’s present bc. Henry has gone on a destructive path and that if he ends up permanently dead, it would result in their own existence being erased by the universe and they don’t want that to happen.

Oh yeah, I should mention they’re on their tenth try to make sure that their parents and future selves are saved. Which is at odds of the (known) time-space rules put in place to keep abilities like this in check. If Rhys keeps resetting the timeline, the more imbalanced and fragile the fabric of space-time becomes - and that could just jeopardise the entire fabric of the universe itself. So yeah. The two are kinda at the end of their rope in regards to options, and honestly causing timeline paradoxes is the least of their worries at the moment.

Amelie is a bit of an odd one out in her family as her personality is a lot more sociable and outgoing. While she does wear a similar fashion aesthetic to her mother, but specifically takes a liking to ‘yami-kawaii’ subculture. her abilities as an assassin are more so from her father. She particularly has her own version of Henry’s ‘barrage mode’ and additionally a beam katana that’s similar to Henry’s Vosmir.

Rhys, is more so the quiet, reserved one much like her parents. They are more comfortable wearing suits, and more masculine attire, but xyr abilities are more so from their mother. Rhys is… kinda responsible for their current journey of doing time travel to secure their future existences + correcting the main course of the timeline in general. Much like their mother, they wield a dual set of beam katanas, but it should be noted that they also use military grade knives + can pack a surprising punch when in close combat.

Before anyone asks, no they’re not twins. Amelie is born first, and she’s about 2-3 years older than Rhys, who is the younger sibling - although they are both younger than Jeane Cooldown. I should stress that they aren’t assassins either but have been trained by parents, but even then their appearance in NMH3 is just two university students trying to save their parents, and this is while the fabric of space-time hangs in the balance and it’s not made any better when your dad was the one to bring aliens into the equation [which has kinda fucked with the main timeline that was put in place to begin with.]

The mediocrity continues! I feel like I've read newspaper funnies with higher stakes than this plot. Nothing bad ever really happens to the main characters and they always look/act pristine. The character writing is giving Mary Sue/Gary Stu vibes. I wonder if I would like this back in middle school or if I'd have enough brain cells to recognize its blandness?

Ch. 21

Lilia figures out a way to use magic without any magic energy (thanks to Toma). So now she's fulfilled her goal of allowing Elrich to use magic.

I'm not really emotionally invested at all at this point btw. Everything is so bland (especially Elrich who is just like "perfect boyfriend") that how could I be?

Ch. 22

It feels kind of lazy that the bird gets a cool human form and the dragon just gets to be blue!Lilia :/

More random plot happenings...this time the King is under attack and they're asking Lilia to help. Again with the "chosen one" BS.

I feel like they totally ripped off the "butler attacks with steak knives" thing from Black Butler. Can't get nothin' past a veteran weeb!

Weirdly I feel like this manga could benefit from more characters. Yeslar and Reslar (Lilia's dragon and bird companions) get way too much screentime. They're so boring lol

Ch. 24

Just when I complain about Lilia's spirits they introduce...even more spirits! Why did they just reveal that Toma had spirits outta nowhere like that?

Reslar freaking out at the faerie seemed a little overblown and out of character (what little character Reslar has). I think Lilia and Elrich should have scolded her instead of just distracting her :/

Ch. 25

I gotta admit, the Sage title is pretty badass. And it looks like she gets access to some fancy library/archive? Hell yeah.

I had the though of "instead of pursuing the invention of the camera via magic why doesn't she just try recreating the non-magical engineering it takes to develop a camera?" But then I was like...wait...I have no idea how a camera works. Also, she was just an otaku in her previous life so she wouldn't have that knowledge either.

Elrich seemed low key jealous that his fiance is more impressive than him. Hopefully those feelings don't turn ugly. (Who am I kidding? This manga has no stakes whatsoever).

Lilia's new ribbons are suuuper cute. As I've said before, this manga at least has eye candy if nothing else.

Ch. 26

Can't decide if this chapter was wholesome or creepy. All these old men freaking out over Lilia with grandfatherly love. I guess it's just not a dynamic you see very often lol

Again we have the whole "MC is the super special chosen one who is smarter than everyone in their new world" vibes 😑

While I relate to Lilia being somewhat introverted, I do think she could have been a little nicer to the sages after they invited her so many times. It also felt weird to me that she didn't have the "wait, maybe this could further my research" revelation sooner.

Ch. 27

The age gap relationship stuff combined with the ultra girly aesthetic is kinda giving me UsagixMamoru from Sailor Moon. Not saying that makes it okay, just that this is pretty common with shoujo I guess.

"I like to carry you" is creepy (AKA she's so young you can carry her, dude >:/) but also...I wish I could be carried places lol. Seems really nice.

Lilia's "I should rely on others more" revelation is good, especially since it goes against the aforementioned "OP MC is better than everyone" vibes. I much rather her see her working with the community than just dominating everyone.

I was completely wrong about the king, they just keep doing these ominous cliff hangers that amount to nothing. It's pretty frustrating.

Lol back to this manga being absolutely zero stakes. They threatened to take Elrich away but were then like "sike, he doesn't have to go!" This is very "makes it easy" story telling.

They had a "The End" fake out...wish it was real.

The writing keeps pointing out how young Lilia is and how it's weird she's engaged to be married (actually married as of this chapter). If you think it's so weird, why did you write it!? No one is forcing you to write about a married 9 year old! -sigh-

Now saying something new to continue the chain. I love martial arts! For a large part of my life I was bouncing from one sport to another and I've gone through some like artistic gymnastics and athletics, I also had a time when I liked surfing... but I never felt as comfortable as in martial arts.

It was great, because unlike other martial arts in mine there are no rules and you can fight freely with your opponent. I've fought people preparing for the police and for a specific branch of the military and I'm proud to have won. (they deliberately put us together with older and stronger people so we would learn by force) I also almost got my ear cartilage broken and one of my wrists too lmao. I know how to fight with knives and how to break someone's elbows. I'm proud of being able to do this kind of things!

Why haven't I mentioned the name of the martial art class? Because the instructors were fucking abusers and ped0s. That's why I left it and I don't want people around me to go in there

The truth is that I have always had a lot of bad luck with instructors :') My artistic gymnastics instructor always insulted me in class, for example. It was horrible and I was just a kid about 7-8 years old.

I have talked about it with friends and even they, who have gone to other types of martial arts, also discovered that the instructors were abusers.

Buuut well yea, Dagon cultists came to their home killed her parents and every worker in search for her and she was forced to mercy kill her own parents bc she wasn't skilled enough to close their wounds (and wants to avoid the enemy soul trapping them). Ran away with a few survivors to roam around for years and live in the wilderness until they also got ambushed in the end. So her faith, I'd say, is just way too broken.

How Do They Feel About Talos Worship? People are free to worship and believe in what or who they want. But Kisa isn't very interested in history of Divinity. She'll not involve herself in it simply because heaven and hell are beyond her control. But if she were to make a statement, it's not that she shares the hate for Talos—though given a glimpse in the past, she cannot see herself praising Talos, but she will not support the Thalmor's methods and current mindset either.

Opinion on the Thalmor? *ring ring* Kisa would like to speak to her house founders who were part of the Aldmeri Dominion in 2E. Anyway, they're shit now. Given that they were the reason why she lost a vast amount of her memories, doesn't really put them in a good light. There might be good Thalmors, agents whose mindsets aren't as outdated but she's yet to come across one.

Opinion Of Ulfric Stormcloak? *chanting* jail his ass! jail his ass! For real, Kisa went to Solitude first. When they met the court, it was highly believed young king Emeric would have given Ulfric's propositions some thought. Instead he was quick to raise arms and rid Skyrim its High King. When asked, he only insisted it was the way. The way the way Kisa doesn't give a shit about this way or that way, the obvious result was it plunged the shitty state of the country into a shittier one. Now SHE'S the one on the field, healing soldiers of both factions, burying their dead and the casualties, literally dealing with it while Ulfric sits his ass on a throne of blind followers.

Opinion of The Empire? The empire is shit. But that's why she's there, begrudgingly doing the dirty work so they can make it less shittier. If that doesn't work, she'll do things on her own, whatever faction, none shall get in her way.

Remind Me: Part 10

Alright everyone. This it. This is the final call. The finale. The Last of the Mohicans. …wait wrong franchise NEVER MIND. Anyway, the point is, this is the end of an era. Remind Me is finally coming to a close. I would like to say the biggest thank you to @dreamwritesimagines, for letting me write this based off her wonderful story Once a Year, inspiring me and always being so, so kind. I honestly would have never, EVER had the nerve to start writing fanfic if she hadn’t told me I could do it. I’m constantly astounded by how kind she is to everyone, and I can only hope to be that amazing when we’re both famous writers with tons of awards. I’d also like to give a huge shoutout to @rhabakoli for being freaking awesome and also being the first person to actually request that I add her to my taglist (Dream just go stuck on there whether she wanted to be or not. Fortuitously, she wanted to be.) Finally, I want to thank everyone who has ever read any part of this series. I am so grateful to all of you for being invested, and I love seeing you guys in the notes. It’s always crazy to me to see that you guys like what I’m making. Thank you so much for going on this journey with me! Well, I suppose the only thing left to say is…Any resemblance to characters real or fictional is absolutely not coincidental.

Chapter 10:  “There is not always a good guy. Nor is there always a bad one. Most people are somewhere in between.” ― Patrick Ness, A Monster Calls

You had hardly seen Billy for months. He was no longer living with you. Now that you had your memories back, it was far too dangerous. Sometimes you were able to steal moments together in one of Billy’s safehouses, but those were few and far between. And what was Billy doing in all this time you had been apart?

Well, he had been making business deals. Or, as he put it, “I’m taking all this energy from my pent up sexual frustration and turning it into aggression.” No one said no to Billy. Especially not when he really wanted something. You had to admit, it was kind of hot.

Wow, all this time apart really had been getting to you.

But all of that was about to end tonight.

You were wearing a dress. The same dress you had been wearing that night. Bill had said that was a little morbid, made more so by the fact that you had even kept the dress, but that was how you wanted it. You wanted to be dark and haunting. You wanted to give him a thousand nightmares in the moments before he died. You wanted the vision of you to follow him screaming down into hell.

You breathed deep. You should have felt panicked, but instead, there was a calm settled down over you like a blanket. You had seen the same calm settle over Billy before sometimes. Right before he killed someone.

There was a knife strapped to each thigh under your dress, but no one would have known to look at you. Your hair was in the same intricate style you had worn, your makeup the same. You had been a different girl then. You were a different girl now too, and no matter how you dressed up, you couldn’t hide that.

You knew it was in everything you did. The way you walked, the click of your heels, the flick of your wrist. There was something deadly and wicked about you. You were lovely and terrifying all at once.

You left your room, heading downstairs to the lobby of your apartment. You looked normal enough. No reason for anyone to glance twice, except the man waiting near the doors.

Billy smiled at you, but it wasn’t his usual smile. You had thought he would have that calm over him, but instead he looked worried. He looked the way you should. His hands were buried deep down into his pockets, but he pulled them out to embrace you, pulling you close so he could whisper in your ear.

“Let’s go. He’s waiting.”

Innocent enough, but even now it felt as though they couldn’t take chances. You followed him out of the car, letting him drive for once. You owed him at least some peace during the car ride, after everything he had done for you.

The ride was long, and you spent it thinking of ways to get your revenge. You were no expert in this, but you couldn’t imagine it was really that hard to cause someone pain. Torturers liked to brag that what they did was an art in the movies, but those were just the movies. You were sure it would work out in the end.

When you got there, Billy stopped the car but didn’t get out. He didn’t unlock the doors either, keeping you trapped in there with him.

“Skittles.” 

His voice sounds a little distant. You have already started shaking, but you are not sure if it is in dread or anticipation. Was there even a difference? Did it matter?

“Yes?” You look at him, and he reaches across the center console to stroke his thumb over the arch of your cheekbone.

“Are you sure you want to do this? I could take care of him right now, you know. You would never have to see his face again.”

You shook your head.

“I can’t do that Billy. You know I can’t. I have to…I have to do this. It has to be me. I need the closure. I need…I need to feel like I’m in control again. I need this Billy.”

He sighs. 

“I know, but that’s what scares me. That you need this. I’m not judging,” he said, raising his hands defensively. “But take it from me. This is something you can’t take back. It’s not a game, Skittles.”

“You think I don’t know that?” You interrupt.

“Let me finish. You can’t undo this. Once you do this, it stays with you forever. You think it will make the nightmares go away. Maybe it will. But there will be new ones to replace the old. So I need to know. Are you sure?”

You don’t waver for a second. “I’m sure.”

He nods, leaning forward to kiss your forehead. 

“Then the second thing I need to make sure you understand is this.” He reaches out, taking your hand in his own and placing it over his heart, holding it there. “For every new nightmare that comes, I will be there. I won’t let anything hurt you. Anyone who wants to get to you will have to do it over my cold dead body.”

Your voice cracks a little when you speak. “Billy Russo, I love you, and if you don’t shut up I’m going to make my first kill crying like a little baby. So are we doing this or not?”

He chuckles, shaking his head at you before getting out of the car and coming around to open your door. 

“Ladies first,” he says, ushering you into the warehouse.
