i’m not the original asker that asked about your rp comments tonight, i’m a second asker. i should have mentioned that in my ask sorry!

but you’ve mentioned being in a “part” of the rp community and in your reply to me you said “in that circle”… and you’re talking like you’d have to go back to the same group of people that seem to have caused you issues. but nobody would be forcing you to have to be in that same circle of people again

so I guess i’m confused as an rper myself because i don’t get the whole “this specific circle of people won’t accept my character”, when you can just entirely avoid those people from your past rp time and write with new people??

Oh, definitely, for sure, I could find new people to write with. I've done that before, too!

It's just - it is incredibly hard to start up a new account with characters from small fandoms without having a built in circle of rpers to write with. Agatha, for instance, I could start an account with and probably draw people in provided that I set her up on her own account and not as a side-account. But Eve? Claire? Like - I could start a multimuse with all of those characters, and Agatha (and maybe America) would be the only two to get interactions (except for Jess, and that's because I've had Jess for a long time and I know at least one person who would love me to bring her back).

That's not even getting into - yes, I could start a whole other account for a multimuse, but I really don't want to be switching between being logged in here and being logged in there. One of them would become a main account and the other would likely get abandoned, which would really just mean I wouldn't be on the rp account as much as I should be to be considered, you know, still an active account.

The answer to that, of course, would be a side-account. But a lot of following-followbacks rely on knowing who is following you, so if I follow from this account, people will only see that a personal account is following them and ignore the potential side-account.

Like...there's some logistics to this, too, is I guess what I'm saying.

And if I went back to primarily rp at this point, it would be because I want to write again with one of my friends who rejoined the rpc. Because I miss her. But she is in that circle.

Full on believe that the writers made chozen go back to Okinawa before the whole Johnny and Daniel argument because they knew that Johnny wouldn’t even have been able to finsh that sentence about mr miyagi being a liar and theif if chozen was there because chozen would have kicked his ass right there wouldn’t even let Johnny get the sentence out

Like. They (thought they) needed that conflict to happen. (For some reason) And it wasn't going to if they had given a shit about character growth. Chozen very much was a steadying presence between Daniel and Johnny. He was Daniel's ride or die. He wouldn't have let that stand. Not only because it was stupid to fight, but also due to the blatant disrespect tbh. He has shown clearly he stands up for Daniel and miyagi do above all else.

I feel like he got the same treatment a girlfriend gets? Oh, the plot would be simpler with them involved, get them out of there. And like, where in the world is Carmen Diaz because she has so been reduced to a lamp. (And would probably give him a piece of her mind, which she never used to be afraid to do in the first two seasons. But i guess if you're in a relationship with someone you're not allowed to disagree) Like, for a while he was "confused but got the spirit" about other cultures, but as with everything else to do with Johnny's character they seemed to walk that back for some reason?

Re, the thief comment, I still can't believe that made it in the show. That's an entire new level of disrespect. I know I'm using that word a lot but it fits. It's not just shoddy writing or bad character development, but feels legitimately mean spirited as a sort of "take that" to the original trilogy and its themes.

Which they obviously had to take some offense to given they were still caught up on it 30 years later, enough to write their own fanfic about it from their own POV. But it seemed more fair and even in the first two seasons before a lot of, what seems like petty dislike, came out through the show. Which also happened to coincide with COVID and a new wave of fans who Didn't Get It. And I do think them taking away all of Johnny's development was a way of appeasing those "he's so cool because he's un PC" fans

I still can't get over how the show seemingly turned into the antithesis of the movies. How there was so much promise and character growth only to throw it away for a bigger budget, more fight scenes, and memes.

💍: Jude got her ears pierced at age twelve, after a year of begging for it. Oh and she played that game, too, going to both Pockets and Lottie and really leaning into the “poor me all my friends have their ears pierced and I’m already the weird one because i live in two cities :(“. Lottie took her on her twelfth birthday to the mall in Tulsa to get them done.

She never considered getting another piercing pre-war. Then she got busy with recovering from her crash, and then again with surviving after the Great War. If anybody offered, she’d probably consider getting more ear piercings, or a nose ring.

🖊️: She’s got a tramp stamp. She and a friend went to go get tattoos after she turned eighteen, and the lower back was the best place she could think of where Pockets and Dot wouldn’t see. It’s just about the most generic, trailer-park-hot-girl design you can imagine, and Jude loves it. Once I get out of this damned car, I'll draw it for you.

She’d love more tattoos, especially now that she doesn’t have to risk The Wrath Of Dot.

💯: Even though she didn’t do well in school, she generally liked her coursework. She liked to read, and was in honors math and science classes. It was just that she got distracted easily and there was always something more interesting to do. Maybe if she’d been diagnosed with ADHD and got medicated, that would’ve turned out different.

🐉: I was about to say that I didn’t think Jude knew of any, but no. Pockets was a Super Nerd, he’d definitely have introduced her to Lord of the Rings and DnD and all that good stuff. Jude was certified Weird Little Girl, so it was probably trolls and gnomes and goblins and all things in between. She had a spiritual connection with the book Where The Wild Things Are.

🍛: Jude’s dinners have looked very different at all different stages of her life. From hot dog mac n cheese with her mom, to hearty meals prepared by her Nonnie made of ingredients they or their neighbors grew, to takeout or a cup noodle when she lived on her own. But her favorite dinner is one shared with a bunch of people, often times with a bowl of flavorful stew and a kind of bread. After the War and after she and Preston can settle, that’s the kind of dinner she tries to have the most.

well we can connect the wholock part of superwholock to two figures pretty easily: Dr. Who and Sherlock, so the only thing to determine is who is meant by "super". now there aren't any superheroes in supernatural but thor's hammer does exist in universe and if i recall correctly Sam is the one to be able to lift it. In that case my guess would be Sam Winchester/Dr. Who/Sherlock which im not sure would work out well but i'd like to see them try ;). This is still the Destiel News Channel blog though so my second guess would be Destiel plus everyone where you could make a confession meme out of a doomed love confession/goodbye. Pretty sure tenrose falls into that category. As for Sherlock i'll leave it to other people to argue whether his goodbye in 'The Reichenbach Fall' to John counts.
