IM FINALLY FREED!!! good grief pls... he looks okay now? hes great now. no more adjustments. hes wonderful #anyway-- i made him... a lil too prettier but like tbf-- he is a mermaid here that sometimes uses his looks to lure in his preys #my dear son looks so pretty and innocent but the moment you get near and let your guard down hes gonna CHOMP you #also the like-- setting is a cave with an open ceiling thats why it looks like that. hes amphibious so he doesnt really need #water tbf. its a nice cave for sunbathing (and possibly waiting for clueless visitors for a nice meal)

Now that I'm over 12 hours after the fact. It's a little funny of the universe to take away my braincells and let me burn my fingers so badly I got to give my work a doctor's note saying I'll be out for the weekend. After I complained for the nth time that 5 day weeks aren't good for me and I can't wait til end of summer for it to stop

Blisters under the cut! It's not gorey I just wanted to show what I'm dealing with but it is blisters so

Big ones are circled with thicker lines. Small ones are w smaller lones. The docs note us mostly so I don't risk infection at all, cause he thinks the blisters Will pop (which sounds Awful)

#i didnt update tumblr earlier but in my defense i couldnt and also i went to my joyfriend to chill out with after getting home #i touched a hot pan today with both hands and burnt my fingertips so bad i was crying for like a half hour straight with them under water #my crying was so shocking to my mom (and separately my sister. she doesnt see me cry) that she took me to urgent care woth my fingers in a #cup of ice. cause it got too painful if they werent in water after about a minute and a half #the doc did say it was a really sensitive spot (my FINGERTIPS) so its very painful for mild blisters on four fingertips #that did make me feel better and less like i was being dramatic just to get neosporin and bandaids put on. that and the doctors note #anyway i cant do minecraft but i can draw mostly like normal so this is fine #artfight will go on as normal and actually be more productive since i cant use minecraft to ignore artfight

took the entire month of august, two and a half bags of gf flour (over thirty dollars. of flour), about five accidental attempts at mass familial poisoning (kept making treats with the discard blissfully unaware that it wasn't actually colonized by yeast yet at all but by other less yummy bacteria [which is why the entire concoction smelled evil]), and several days of cosleeping with the jar (somehow miraculously didn't spill all over the couch/crush it) but my sourdough starter is FINALLY off the ground and healthy and making genuinely sour ass yummy bread. took four times the amount of time and significantly more resources than i expected but i put a little pink bow on her and she's so cute now that i forgive her

#also it was my incompetence the entire time. man i researched SO much but still managed to fuck up also so much. love her anyway. excited to #make discard gf cheezits i miss cheezits #also holy shit having sourdough again almost made me cry.... i missed it i missed that sour shit #SO good. ate the entire giant loaf in three days. medieval ass breadnbutter dinner except my bread isnt shitty seed bread it's yummy #gluten free bread. and my butter isn't expired and is better. sorry medieval peasants #i think i'm going to draw a picture of what the cosleeping arrangement was also bc it was kind of a pain to finagle but she'd #only rise with any degree of swiftness when skintoskin w me #which was kind of a fun bonding thing but also i smelled like sourdough starter for a week #now i've bought a tiny insulated cooler and one of those rubber hot water bottles to put in it so they're insulted from my relatively chill #house #but i need to figure out a way of insulating it further bc it doesn't stay warm for a full 8 hrs....... hmm. well whatever i have a couple #days until feeding day

very busy babysitting a duo of kittens (only two months old) the last few days but i shall be drawing when i return home (this includes requests)

#yew branch #also i just missed a step on the stairs going down and ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow #i am now trapped on the couch until my back stops exploding at least a bit #upside tho is that the kittens are playing together on the couch #sometimes right on my lap!! theyre so so so so cute #i adore them #BUT YEAH i shall be drawing when i return home provided my back allows me to sit upright by that time #bc it sure isnt rn GDJSGJS #im sad ill have to go home tho.. these kittens are some of the cutest beasts alive #life is worth living because every day kittens are playing and having fun #i miiiiiiight be able to indirectly take one #one of my best friends might possibly be able/willing to take one and keep her with her own cat for me #until i move out of my parents house mid next year #so i might get to have... kitten that ive watched grow up from newborns...#the story behind these kittens is that one of my other best friends took in a stray and she turned out to be pregnant #and had these two!!#im also watching the three adult cats in this house but theyre not nearly as much of a handful #as can be imagined this friend is very tired of having 5 cats in the house regardless of how small two of them are GDJSVSN #which is very very understandable #i dont think i would want five cats unless i had a fairly large house. if i had a large house and plenty of free time most of each day #to give them play time and tons of affection #as well as the physical ability to keep up with them all #then id gladly have five cats #who knows maybe someday ill have a nice big house and plenty of spare time and my ddd will be under control #but that doesnt seem likely #aside from ddd being managed! because i have a pain relieving steroid injection tomorrow and then ill be starting physical therapy!!#im excited and i have a lot of hope for at least the physical therapy to help #PLUS THEY HAVE A POOL FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY!!!!!!! AND I LOVE SWIMMING ESPECIALLY AS A GENTLE WORKOUT #and low impact things are very important for my body specifically i cant do high impact exercise or itll hurt me #plus i just love being in water i swear i was meant to be an aquatic elf from dnd
