oooo, if you're taking doodle requests for the dad ford au, i'd love to see something with Ford + Tate and or Stan + Tate.

Ford, cause it'd be interesting to see how he handles being a stepdad on top of Newt and Nick. Stan cause while he'd obviously be fiercely protective of the twins, i feel like he'd understand Tate's motivation the most between him, Ford, and Fiddleford

Thank you so much for my first proper ask/prompt. So you asked for Tate with Ford or Stan and I decided to give you both. Ford is a genius but he's not a pediatrician and Fiddleford still insisted on finding a real proper doctor to help with the twin's general medical care. But the person they found willing to help them with their alien babies without freaking out is out of town so these trips are a bit time-consuming and Fidds is the best at keeping the beans calm for their shots. Mostly I just needed to come up with an excuse for Tate to be stuck with the Stan twins for the day.

I imagine this to take place while Fidds and Emma are still in the process of getting divorced. Custody arrangments are still being worked out. This is Tates first time coming to stay in Gravity Falls with his dad's new family and he has a lot of complicated feelings.

Fidds generally is very clingy with Tate when he comes to stay with them. Showering his eldest with affection out of a mix of missing him and feeling guilty. As a result Ford and Stan rarely are put in the position of having to look after Tate and Fidds initially doesn't make much of an effort to actively include Ford in his father-son time with Tate. Again Fidds feels guilty and like asking Tate to give Ford a chance is an unfair imposition.

Ford makes genuine attempts however to get to know Tate when the opportunity arises. At first, Tate wants nothing to do with him. He's overheard his mom occasionally talking about the divorce when he's supposed to be in bed and the bits and pieces he has picked up basis him pretty strongly against Ford.

Emma isn't trying to turn Tate against his dad or even really against Ford. Don't get me wrong she really doesn't like Ford for obvious reasons but she doesn't want to expose her son to the adults interpersonal drama. She didn't mean for him to hear her talking about Fiddleford leaving them for Stanford.

I think you're suggestion that Stan would understand Tate in this situation better than the other two is pretty reasonable. Tate feels abandoned, and maybe even replaced by new babies. Stan knows better than anyone how it feels to be abandoned and he knows enough to reassure Tate rather confidently that that isn't what's happening here. Tate also finds it a bit easier to open up to Stan because he's mostly a bystander in all of this.

Okay, here's an idea for a Batfam Monster AU

Bruce- a monster hunter. Learn that monsters are people, too. They are children, they can feel, they can think, therefore they are.

Dick- Vampire. A boy who watched his family be slain and fall from hunters. A boy filled with anger but kindness.

Jason- werewolf. He's huge and stalking, a loud black snarling mass that was just suffering from hunger.

Tim- Ghost. He died young, a child who died from neglect from someone who was supposed to care. He's physical. He can touch and interact, but he's perpetually cold.

Steph- Siren. She was just seeking her own legacy. Something different from her father, she's quicker witted than him, she's smarter than him, and her voice is more convincing than him.

Cass- Weeping Angel. A child who moves more when no one looks. No one had truly seen her. She left them. She ran, with no eyes on her, until him.

Damian-half goat demon, half human. Damian is the heir to the Demon thrown. He's the grandson of the Demon Head, but yet he is human. His father is a hunter of what he is but also a guardian of those like him.

Duke- witch (primarily light magic) He was only just beginning to learn when the clown hurt his parents. He was terrified, and his magic was so much stronger. He found him, showed him kindness, and offered mentorship.

Alfred- ??? (Fallen angel? Just immortal?) He's special. His aura feels warm and gentle, but he's flawed and has unkind things under his belt. But he feels kind.

Barbara- a seer (she's got many eyes, always watching) she saw a lot, her father's cases, the hunters work. She worked with the hunter, but after the clown, her eyes grew many. She saw more and can still help.

Any suggestions for change? Might make doodles of them who knows. I've got a lot to draw, lmao

Framed pictures

TW: Allusions to SA, suicide and Jimmy.

You are not part of the Tulpar crew, yet they already know you. At least what you look like thanks to the framed picture Anya has on her desk.

In addition to the picture, there are a couple of doodles scattered around so she wouldn't miss you too much. Yet the more she sees it, the more she feels the longing for your presence.

Do you miss her just as she misses you? Maybe more? Maybe not? No, that last part isn't true, as you would always pamper her every time she returns from a long trip. You would bring breakfast to bed, invite her to go out or maybe just cozy up at home.

Sometimes, when she's alone and feels like she doesn't have anyone to talk to, she would speak to your picture, usually about topics like her day, her worries and also what she wants to do with you once she cames back.

But after what happened with Jimmy, she felt horrible looking at your picture.

How could she explain something like this to you? Would you see her with the same eyes? What would you even think of ... That... thing... he put inside of her? Would you comfort her? Feel disgusted at her? She hopes not, she prays that it's not going to be the case. She apologizes time and time again to the smile framed in her hands and wishes you were there to comfort her, to hold her in your arms as you whisper reassurance to her ears.

She tried to hold on, she really did, she hoped she would be able to be back with you again. She can't stand the idea of you looking at the stars, waiting, wondering when she is going to come back.

But she can't really do so much.

So she says her final goodbyes to her captain, her real captain, and even though he didn't really do too much to help her in her situation, she supposes it's way better than ... Him. She takes the pills, and says her goodbyes to your picture, the frame broken after the impact of the crash.

She closes her eyes,

And she sees you again, with a tray of breakfast and a smile on your face.

She is back home again. Nothing will harm her anymore.

Got bored, drew The Distortion, bon appetite!

lmao he’s not even really been in my brain much but I saw some art and was inspired and now here it is! He was fun to doodle actually! I was stressed about a research project that isn’t even due for another week but I thought it was tomorrow, so doodling this lovely little dear was a nice break. Also, I like the line I chose to use on the sketch, because I myself usually feel more like a “what” as supposed to a “who” and names really are just a designated word that people come up with for describing you aren’t they? I mean- my name being something semi generic in comparison to being named dust or something… it’s really all the same because it’s just societies chosen word for you (much like nicknames are)

Spink MIGHT be based on/inspired by another ink from an fanfic I finished reading not too long ago... (Totally not "for the forgotten ones" *cough cough*) ((but seriously I loved that fic so much))

Some basic lore for Spink is that he was introduced to the multiverse a little to late to be able to protect the aus properly, resulting in aus being happy/relived when error or nightmares gang would kill/destroy their au. They have given up hope for any kind of "protector" to show up. most believed that it was just a myth, and they there is no such thing as a protector. So when ink showed up claiming to be this so called "protector" barely anyone believed him resulting in home being run out of any aus he stumbles in.

Oh yeah! He has been "killied" many times :)

(Also the SP in Spink is supposed to be spilled/splattered because I couldn't decide witch one to choose so a friend of mine just said Spink)
