okay so I admit working from home gets me out of this situation a lot, BUT. on the occasions I've been on a train and been Thorsty I used this! when I went to Costa Rica one of the most wonderful things I purchased and have kept ever since is The Bitey Woter Tube

What the Fuck is That you ask, well it's a Platypus Drink Tube and all you do is screw it onto your platypus waterbottle or plastic bag. thing. whatever. turn the bottle upside down, 'bite' lightly on the sucky part (which opens the end of the weird straw) and then use it... like a weird straw.

I survived hiking around in a rainforest for a month with this sucker (literally) and I've found it oddly useful ever since covid hit, bc you can sorta shove it into the side of your mask for a sip when you are dying from dehydration and not have to take the mask off fully.

If you want to look marginally less bizarre (and you have the option) I'd suggest simply leaving the crowded areas to go have a drink break outside or in a corridor, but if you can't leave and don't mind people asking what the fuck that thing is, this has been working for me!

aaaa this weekend my friends took me to the cities to hear Alexander Rybak (and like the best pianist from Belarus/Norway) play classical music!! they were fantastic, holy shit. godddd I miss playing and being around musicians who are Genuinely passionate about music. and he seems so down to earth. I think the pianist, Stefan Zlatanos, is probably one of the best pianists (&by far the best accompanists I’ve ever heard, WOW).

if you ever have a chance to hear them play, please go see them! they like small venues which is sooooo nice, and they rly wanna support these local places. I want them to be my friends, lol.

The worst thing about my brain being an autopilot grammar nazi is that every single time I see people misuse “it’s” and “its” as well as apostrophe placements is that I don’t want to be rude and correct people... but my brain still is like UGH THIS IS THE WORST.

“It’s” and “Its” are more just my brain going weeo weeo on me when that’s a more understandable one bc “its” is literally the exception to a rule (because “it’s” actually means “it is”, so to avoid it being used for two meanings the apostrophe is removed for ownership cases), but when I see apostrophes before an S for plural wording and I know they speak English properly I’m just like. ugh. damn. bruh. please. go back to school.

Less severe cases of incorrect apostrophe use tends to be like, when people are playing Heroes and have duplicates of units and are like “my Ike’s” instead of “my Ikes”, because I think people are trying to... make it more clear that it’s referring to more than one? I think? Maybe? Or they literally just don’t realize it’s incorrect grammar, idk lol. Still can’t get past my weeo weeo autopilot brain though sadly.

Which speaking of Heroes, FE in general seems to have its script in every single game ever coded to always use apostrophes for ownership cases even when the word ends in S, so don’t worry folks. Is my mental health the worst it's been since leaving uni and being diagnosed properly? Yes! Op, being in a bad situation previously and recently got out with sib, realized cousin was in similar bad situation and about half a year ago got custody of them.

There's been a bunch of challenges but what else can you expect?

Also parent-teacher conferences on this side of things are just as bad. Especially when the teachers say hey I need you for this time and I'm like Is there a way we can contact each other when im not at work???? (I work second shift, until February where my boss said that I can switch) And their like no choose from this paper or else.

Luckily my boss let me come in late that day.
