Me: has the overwhelming urge to build a tiny house for myself
Also me: has no car, no money, no savings, no friends or acquaintances who could help, nowhere to set the house up, not even the physical ability to do normal everyday household things due to chronic illness, let alone build an entire fucking house
Can anyone explain to me in a way I can understand
why the heck this still feels possible at all?? đđ
It's only when I think about it from a strictly logical standpoint that it feels like what are you even thinking
#random stuff#this is so crazy#it feels like I just need to start doing it#like I should go right now and find things to buy to start the process#what the heck??#I can't wrap my head around it#it shouldn't be feeling possible at all should it#also this is really persistent đ#going on for a couple months now and it's not lessening at all#such a curious thing#shaking my head at myself#but even that doesn't make it feel impossible#it is WEIRD#chronic illness#me/cfs#tiny house

^^^ This. Like it sounds obvious, but shopping for simple daily necessities can quickly become a burden if you can't read the labels. You come home, drained from a day at work and discover you're never not at work because quick and easy stops are no longer quick and easy when you're navigating through a foreign environment 24/7.
You don't actually realize how difficult or draining that can be until you're there with nowhere to retreat to.
#people laugh at the 'different language culture shock' like it's supposed to be obvious right#yes but it also GETS YOU in subtle and persistently chronic ways#you have no breaks from it ever#it's a chronic stressor until you really get used to it#and it's not something that applies during a vacation because your vacation ends and you go home and things are 'normal' again#that's never the case when you up and move to a foreign country đ

Pairing: Joel Miller x f!reader
Summary: After a heated argument with Joel, you finally convince him into leaving Jackson so you could explore a store for new clothes, and what happens could change your life forever.
Warnings: major character (Joel) death - but it is just a nightmare - don't read if you think that will still upset you, angst, language, violence, descriptions of blood/gore/death scene

You knew it was childish. You knew it wasn't essential. But you also desperately wanted to feel more comfortable, and was that really such a crime? To want to feel like yourself again? To want to wear clothes that you liked? That fit you properly? Jackson was well stocked with essentials, clothes included, but the clothes the men picked up on patrol were... utilitarian, to say the least. They grabbed the biggest and the warmest clothes so that it afforded more people the opportunity to use them, but you were beginning to grow tired of tucking men's oversized shirts into your pants, the material bunching up at your waist and twisting around as you walked, constantly trying and failing to feel comfortable in your own skin.
You thought Joel would be more open to the idea of heading outside the walls on your day off. You even teased him with the promise of picking up some new underwear, but he didn't fall for it. He fought you tooth and nail the whole evening, his voice lifting over yours angrily to explain how there's been an influx of raiders the past few weeks, that everyone agreed to lay low until they passed through, not wanting to draw attention or pick any unwanted fights. But you persisted. You always did, and you eventually wore him down when you threatened to leave without him.
Why was it such a crime to want to feel comfortable? It was just two people, you could lay low and go unseen, no problem. You've done it countless times before.
You had hoped he would have gotten over it by morning, but you were wrong. He hardly made eye contact with you during breakfast, skirting expertly around you in your kitchen, mumbling under his breath as he sipped his coffee and only shooting you angry looks when your back was turned.
The air was crisp and the woods were peaceful. You thought that would surely turn his mood around. He always appreciated being out with nature, living off the land. As much as he loved living in Jackson, he couldn't deny that part of himself that felt useful, that felt a sense of accomplishment by surviving out in the wild.
"C'mon, are you really gonna act like this all day?" you teased as you held up another shirt against your body before determining it was the right size and then tossed it in a pile with the others.
He was standing at the storefront window with his arms crossed and his jaw clenched. "Don't know what you mean."
You rolled your eyes and looked around the store, spotting a table of underwear with a grin. You lightly skipped over and tossed to the side the pairs that looked far too dusty so you could look at the ones underneath. Clearing your throat, you held up a pair of bright red stain underwear. He turned around and you saw it: it was fast, he hid it well, but you still saw it. That all too familiar excited look in his eye.
"Don't you like them?" you asked with a playful pout. He furrowed his brow at you like he was annoyed, and maybe he was, but you still saw the heat beginning to crawl up his neck.
"They ain't practical."
You gave him a defeated sigh and strolled over to your pile of clothes, your fingertips daintily holding the undergarment out to him. "No? Then what are they?"
His eyes shifted from yours to the red material in your hand and you saw his throat work as he swallowed.
"Useless," he croaked, and you narrowed your eyes at him. You got a little closer, letting the soft fabric glide against the back of his hand when you dropped your arm to your side.
"Oh, yeah?" you said breathily, and you watched his eyelids flutter at your tone. "Then I guess it wouldn't matter if I brought them home and let you rip them off me."
He stepped forward, a growl emitting from his chest, low and deep, when at the exact same time, you both heard shouting outside the store. Swiveling both your heads towards the glass storefront, your blood ran cold when you saw six heavily armed men advancing towards you.
"Shit," he muttered, his arm pulling your shoulder down just in time to avoid the cascade of bullets that rained down upon you. You laid face down on the rough carpet, covering the back of your head with your eyes squeezed shut, waiting for the shooting to stop. Joel tugged on your arm and you opened your eyes in a panic.
"Follow me!" he shouted, army crawling towards the registers, and you dutifully followed behind, your heart racing wildly in your chest.
Once you made it, the counter offering some, but not much, safety, the both of you pulled out your guns and double checked your ammo.
"Alright, when they stop to reload-"
"I know," you said, cutting him off. You've both been in this situation before. You knew what to do.
Holding your rifle upright and against your chest, you breathed deep, trying to steady your hands until the bullets slowed and you heard more shouting. Joel nodded to you and you both sprung up from the floor, pulling your rifles against your bodies in sync and lining up your targets.
Patience is a virtue. The amount of ammunition they wasted on the two of you was laughable when you each caught one of them between the eyes, leaving four against two.
You thought you would be able to get another shot off but Joel tugged your arm and you slinked back to the floor as a shower of bullets rained over you once again.
"You good?" he asked, and you nodded, gasping for air. Your hands began to stabilize when the shock wore off. You were in the zone.
Pressing both your backs against the small counter, you remained calm and waited out your attackers. Glass shards tinkled and scattered behind you. Bullets pinged against the metal shelving, ricocheting into the drywall.
"Assault rifles for two people? Really?" you muttered, more so to yourself, but Joel heard you.
"Told you this was a bad fuckin' idea," he said angrily.
When there was another brief pause, he looked to you again and nodded. At the same time, you rose up and took aim, firing on your attackers once again. Joel made his shot, you didn't. Three down, three to go.
"Fuck," you grumbled, reloading your rifle even though you still had rounds left.
"Focus," he scolded.
The men sounded like they were getting closer. Their voices were louder. Clearer. The shots were deafening. You prayed they weren't inside the store, because you hadn't planned an exit strategy. Without warning, Joel stood up and fired a shot. You heard a man scream and then a loud thud. It sounded like the man was just on the other side of the counter.
"That's not the plan," you seethed at him when he dropped back down next to you.
"Didn't have a choice, he was 'bout to jump us," he sneered.
Two against two.
When the shots slowed down, you held your breath, looking at Joel from the corner of your eye. He held his palm up to you silently, signaling for you to stay where you were. You heard boots crunching slowly against glass and your heart leapt into your throat. They were in the store.
You shot Joel a panicked look but he just shook his head, focusing on their footsteps, calculating how far away they were.
"Come out now and no one gets hurt," a man's deep voice called out. He was close.
Joel clenched his jaw and flared his nostrils. You knew that look. It was the look of a man who was about to do something stupid. But before you could stop him, before you could reach out to him and hold him back, he stood up and took aim.
One shot. That was all you heard when Joel slumped to the floor next to you, clutching his stomach as dark red blood poured from the wound. Your eyes went wide and you saw red. Without thinking, you stood up and shot, taking one of the two men down with a yelp. The remaining raider ducked behind a display, and you dropped your rifle in favor of your handgun. Crouching low to the ground, you inched forward, careful of any broken glass that would give your position away. When you were on the other side of the display, you heard the man's labored breaths. He was scared. He was out of his element. And you had him right where you wanted him.
Silently tucking the gun in the back of your pants, you slid your hunting knife out from your ankle holster. You took a deep breath and lunged forward, driving the knife deep into the man's chest.
He dropped his gun and clutched weakly at your hands, but it was no use. His blood poured from the wound when you yanked your knife out with a grunt, and you watched as his hands slowly slid back down to his sides, his eyes still wide open and staring up at the ceiling.
You smirked, feeling victorious for only a moment before you remembered Joel. Dropping your knife, you rushed back to his side, only to find his face pale and his hands stained dark red.
"Joel!" you cried out, pressing your palms against the wound, hoping to slow the bleeding. His eyes drifted towards you, softening when he saw you were alive and unharmed. That you were going to make it.
Panic consumed you. Your heart was slamming against your ribs as you fumbled with your backpack, trying to find your first aid kit through the tears.
"I love you," he whispered, and you shook your head.
"Don't start with that, you're gonna be fine."
"Baby," he said weakly, and you choked back a sob.
"Hold on," you told him, still searching in your pack.
"Look at me," he said, and your hands stilled for a moment before you dragged your eyes back to him, your lower lip trembling as you took in his deteriorating state.
"I need to-" you began, but stopped to take in a shaky breath. "I need to patch you up and get you to the horses."
"No, you don't," he said softly, and more tears spilled from your eyes.
"Yes, I do. I gotta-"
"I ain't gonna make it, sweetheart," he slurred, and you could see by the amount of blood he was losing that he was right. But still, you pressed your palms against the gunshot wound, your fingers slipping through his thick and sticky blood.
"Don't say that. I can't do this without you," you whimpered, and closed your eyes for a brief moment. You felt his fingertips weakly grip your chin and you forced your eyes back open.
"Yes, you can," he said as firmly as he could. He was so pale and weak and it was making your stomach turn.
You shook your head, about to argue with him, but he stopped you.
"You keep goin', you hear me?" he said, and still, you shook your head from side to side, small sobs slipping past your lips. "Don't let this world win. You... go on and keep fightin'. Please. Be happy, baby. For me."
"No!" you cried out, spittle dripping from your lips now, mixing with your tears. "I won't! I-I can't!"
"You can," he repeated, and gave you a weak smile. "I'm ready, baby. It'll be okay."
You squeezed your eyes shut tight, the tears leaking out, hot and angry on your cheeks as you sobbed over him, clutching his hand in yours so tightly, like if you squeezed hard enough, you could give him your lifeforce. Give him your breath. But moments later, his grip weakened and when you opened your eyes, his head slumped to the side and his lifeless eyes stared off into the distance.
"Joel!" you screamed, sitting up in bed, drenched in sweat with tears still streaming down your face. You looked to your side, where he normally slept, but he wasn't there. Panic squeezed your throat, your chest fucking hurt, but you flung the blankets off you and ran towards the door. Still not hearing any sounds, you raced down the stairs, almost tripping in the process but you had a grip on the railing to keep you steady.
When your eyes finally landed on his familiar form stretched out on the couch, his back to you, you allowed yourself to breathe a sigh of relief.
Reality came back to you now. You had your fight about leaving Jackson, but he won and you slept apart. You never left. He never got shot. It was all just a horrible dream.
You stumbled over to the couch, your tears unstoppable, the nightmare too vivid, too real. Your trembling hands clutched his shoulder as you fell to your knees on the floor, shaking him awake.
"What?" he grumbled, clearly still pissed off about your fight.
"I'm sorry!" you sobbed loudly, and when he realized something was wrong, he whipped around to face you.
"What happened?" he asked, his voice still thick with sleep.
"I-I had-" you began, then you hiccupped, cutting yourself off. His face was etched with concern as he forced himself up and cupped your face.
"C'mon, talk to me," he urged, the fear in his eyes reflecting back to you as you looked at him, still not sure what was real and what wasn't.
"I had a nightmare," you finally managed to get out. "About our fight. That we... we went out like I wanted and-and-" you collapsed into another fit of sobs, your shoulders shaking violently.
"Hey, it's alright," he soothed, pulling you up and into his lap and rubbing your back. You pressed your tear stained face into his neck, inhaling deeply, grounding yourself. He was alive. He was here. Everything was fine.
"I'm sorry," you whimpered, your throat still tight but your tears were slowing down. "I'm sorry we fought. I don't wanna go out anymore. I don't need new clothes, it was stupid, I'm sorry."
"Shh, it's okay," he said, pulling you tightly against his chest, "I'm sorry we fought, too. I just wanna keep us safe."
"I know, you're right," you said, pulling back a bit and wiping your nose with the back of your hand. "Will you come back to bed?"
"Yeah," he replied with half a smirk. "'Course I'll come back to bed, baby. Don't cry, it's alright."
You let him lead you up the stairs and to your bedroom, your side of the bed still damp with sweat but it didn't bother you. Joel was safe and sound and in your arms and you didn't care if you had to wear a potato sack for the rest of your life, as long as you had Joel, nothing else mattered.

hey yalllll! this is a quick follow up on this ask
iâm not gonna make this an in depth post because, baby, ion got the time for that. but lemme go ahead and tell yâall, my babies, how i just got new family members!! now, i know that sounds like i just went to target and bought them but yâall know what i meanđ so bear with me, please and thank you.
so for some backstory: i originally come from a family of 5 including me, my mama, my daddy, and my 2 sisters. my dad is a hypocrite and a yeller (canât stand a yeller). my mom likes to gaslight, my older sister also likes to gaslight and is one petty mf. and my little sister always tryna act like she older than me and ion like that cause, sweetheart, iâm twice your age.
so whatâs new?
their personality and looksâtheyâre completely different people. i only wanted to change their looks because it was weird to imagine them as these new personalities because, their faces are just so deeply associated with those old personalities. so i was like lemme alter them according to these new personalities.
how?
the same way you manifest anything else. decide, accept, and persist.
the execution.
as some of yâall may or may not know, i live in a different state than the rest of my family because of college. but iâve been coming back to texas this summer quite frequently to visit them and my childhood friends. i fulfilled my imagination before i got on the plane to houston, literally while in the airport, so when my parents picked me up thatâs when i physically saw they had reflected my imagination. and i later on saw my sisters too.
when?
this happened within 5/6 hours. and i was not in the slightest bit shocked. when i saw my parents the first thing that popped up in my head was âoh okay rae! we materializing shit quick i seeeeâ 𤣠the thoughts i be having, youâd think i was talking to someone fr. i really am my own best friendđ i love it here!
end.
feel free to ask questions, iâll probably get to them in a few hours. iâm bout to take a nice lil nap. i just wanted to proofread and post real quick cause itâs been in the drafts for a week and a half now. and my drafts just keep on getting bigger, further burying this post.
love yâall

Girl I wanna manifest my ideal body, any tips? đđ
i actually manifested my dream body so i think im pretty qualified to give tips đđ manifesting appearance change seems to be complicated for so many people because it becomes hard to ignore the 3D when you see it every single day. You have to remember that your subconscious mind does NOT have eyes! so say you wanna manifest a fat ass, but everytime you look in the mirror its flat, THAT IS JUST THE 3D, tell yourself that your ass is fat and your subconscious will believe that your seeing a fat ass đ (does that make any sense đ). i manifested weight gain because i used to be so skinny, and it was one of the more difficult things to manifest because i would affirm for hours, then look and the mirror and see a twig, and then i reacted negatively and fed my subconscious mind negativity. DONT BE LIKE ME, your are constantly manifesting, YOUR DOMINANT THOUGHTS MANIFEST. thats why robotic affirming works so well, because you having a fatass becomes your dominant thought because thats what your affirming 24/7. i know i talk about her alot but âhigh frequency guruâ has a desired appearance affirmation tape and i couldnât recommend it enough. Also i recommend finding an influencer that has your ideal body and as your watching them, be affirming, thats what i do to keep me motivated đ Youâre gonna have to really persist! persist persist persist, i cant stress it enough. Also please remember your not âmanifesting your ideal bodyâ Your affirming the body you already have. Yes, im saying you have it! its done! Idk if you seen my post about the 3D, but if you have, you would remember i said âeverything you see in this reality is a reflection of the spiritualâ meaning everything you see already happened before, that is whats happening with your body. You already have your desire in the spiritual, persist until you see it with your physical eyeballs.
say it with me âi am perfect, i look exactly how i want to look, i have the body ive always desired, i an complete, i am contentâ.
i hope this was helpful, if you have any other specific questions, PLEASE ask me!! i am open to any asks (i actually love answering them!!)
bye happy manifesting babes!!

hic-cup
Authorâs Note: sending get-well-soon vibes to anyone currently experiencing the hiccups. đđ
hic-cup
Hashira x Reader, Kamaboko x Reader
Word Count: ~1,100
CW: dark humor
Emergency Request Fulfilled: Recently work has been very hectic, and I've been a little anxious about personal things...I really would like something cute! If possible, could you either do the Hashira, KNY squad, or the upper moons (you can pick! You write all of them super well!) With a reader who has bad, but very cute, hiccups?
~faqs~
When you have the hiccupsâŚ
⌠Zenitsu thinks youâre dying. Well. Not really, but the way you gasp for air and clutch your chest has him worried and running to get you water nonetheless. If you lie down on the floor, then he will lie down with you and press his ear to your heart, listening for irregularities.
⌠Inosukeâs overwhelmed by the urge to poke and squish and smoosh and squeeze you. âStop that!â he growls, arms crossed irritatedly. âStop wh-*hiccup*-what?â you huff. âTHAT!â he shouts, pointing an accusing finger at you, âYou sound so, so, so-â âSo what?â âSO CUTE.â Eyes widening, your cheeks warm, nose scrunching, âIno-*hiccup*suke, I-â âItâs like you want me to pop you,â he grumbles. âPop me?????â âStop being adorable so I can stop wanting to kill you.â
⌠Gyomei simply smiles every time you hiccup. Do not ask him to smack them out of you⌠a broken rib (or three) is much worse than the hiccups. âPleeease? They wonât go awaaay!â âMy love, you really shouldnât ask me to harm you.â âHarm me?!â you scoff, âDonât you have control or something?â Affronted, he nods slowly, âI suppose I have controlâŚâ âSO HIT ME.â Sighing, he lightly pats your back, whiiich doesnât help, but itâs the thought that counts!
⌠Obanai pretends to be annoyed, but is lowkey disappointed when they eventually go away. âShut up,â he scowls, glaring as you do your best to swallow another hiccup. âCanât,â you mutter, flicking his shoulder, âThey wonât g-*hiccup*-go away.â âThen Iâll make them,â he mutters darkly. âOh really?â you raise an eyebrow, amused now, âAnd how exactly will you make them go away?â His mouth opens, closes, and opens again, exhaling loudly in defeat. âAdmit it, theyâre kinda cute,â you grin, nudging his side, âIâm kinda cute.â He doesnât respond, opting instead to quickly peck your cheek, blushing profusely even as his glare deepens.
⌠Tanjirou has a plethora of ideas to ~help you. From having you chug a glass of cold water, finding a paper bag for you to breathe into, slicing a lemon for you to bite into, attempting to jump scare you, and making you hold your breath until you nearly pass out, heâs ultimately sorely defeated by your hiccupsâ persistence. Hiccups 1: Tanjirou 0. When they finally disappear, you promptly credit his expertise and efforts, regardless of how delayed their effectiveness was.
⌠Mitsuri giggles until she also ends up with the hiccups. Youâre just so darn beautiful, and your hiccups sound so darn happy! Like yawning near each other, if one of you hiccups, then the other is bound to follow.
⌠Shinobu offers you a sympathetic, âOh dear,â paired with a fond smile, and continues about her day. If theyâre persistent, then sheâll utilize the placebo effect in an attempt to help aka sheâll give you âmedicineâ (itâs sugar water, but sometimes it helps). Occasionally, sheâll ~threaten you, âIf you hiccup again, then no kisses!â to a lesser degree of success, but itâs mostly endearing to watch you try so hard and fail so miserably (if this actually bothers you, then she only does it once, but itâs really just an inside joke).
⌠Kyojuro tries to get himself to hiccup too, but the man is Hiccup Proofâ˘. âWhatâs your secret?!â you whine playfully, pouting as another hiccup jolts your body, âI swear you inhale all your meals, but never experience the hiccups!â âI keep nothing from you,â he frowns slightly, pressing a reassuring kiss to your cheek, âIf I could provide better help, then I certainly would!â âKyo, it was a rhetorical question.â âRhetorical or not, if I knew a secret, then I would tell you!â âSooo remind me to never tell you any secrets,â you chuckle, eyebrow raising pointedly. âMy love, your secrets are safe with me!â he exclaims earnestly. âJust not anyone elseâs?â you drawl teasingly. He pauses to consider your remark, and then shrugs nonchalantly, âPrecisely.â
⌠Sanemi taxes you, and it increases exponentially. âPay up,â he smirks, palm held upright toward you, âI heard that.â âYâknow, hiccuping isnât a crime,â you mutter. âAnd you didnât have to play along,â he grins smugly, âBut you did.â âWell I felt badly about distracting you,â you retort, frowning as a thought occurs to you, âAlthough, now youâve changed tasks completely!â âHave I?â he questions lightly, eyes widening innocently. âYeah, all youâre focusing on is my hiccups and extorting me for spare change!â âIf you stop hiccuping, then I could return to my earlier task.â âI canât just st-*hiccup*-stop!â you whine, still dropping more coins into his hand, âYouâre the worst.â âI love you,â he deadpans, winking as he pockets your money, âMaybe Iâll buy you something nice with my extra income.â
⌠Muichiro says, âBless you,â after every single one. âBut Muichiro, I didnât snee-*hiccup*-sneeze!â âBless you.â âWhy are you-â âWhen you sneeze, for a moment, your soul leaves your body, and the blessing is to prevent it from being stolen, yes?â ⌠âYes?â âWhen you hiccup, are you not running the same risk?â ⌠âNo?â Unperturbed, he shrugs, smiling faintly, âWell, I appreciate you and your hiccups, so I suppose blessing you is my way of expressing my appreciation.â
⌠Giyuuâs constantly startled, even when youâre occupying the same space. *hiccup* Ah! his eyes widen, a subtle yet observable reaction to your sudden noisiness. *hiccup* Ah! he blinks, another subtle yet observable reaction. *hiccup* âAre you faking it?â he finally mutters, cheeks faintly flushed as he fixes a gentle stare on you. âFaking w-*hiccup*-what?!â âYour hiccups.â âWhy would I fake having the hiccups???â âNever mind.â âAm I bothering you?â âNot quite,â he murmurs, reaching across the couch to squeeze your hand, âI hope they go away soon.â Smiling fondly, you raise his hand to your lips, kissing his knuckles, âMe t-*hiccup*-too!â No way is he admitting they ~frighten him.
⌠Tengen claps excitedly, enthusiastically celebrating your ~unique sound. âHow flashy, my dear!â he exclaims with a grin. âFlashy?â you blink, unimpressed. âHiccups are so rare and so fun!â he explains, âWhat an interesting phenomenon!â âYou have a thing for hiccups,â you deadpan, eyes rolling. âNot at all! Iâm just trying to support you through this unfortunate event.â Scoffing, you poke at his chest, âSooo are my hiccups flashy or unfortunate?â âBoth!â

IF & DOVE LIVESTREAM CLUES. đ§Š
weâve been missing our bunny laoshi for quite some time now and to have back to back livestreams from him was such a treat! and well, that new haircut! anyway, here are some sus moments from those events. this post is mostly for me who missed it and want to catch up/ archive these sweets.
for the IF livestream. i think the most glaring one is when xz said âć´ťčżćĽäşâ/ âiâm revivedâ related to drinking. and how itâs what wyb exactly said in exploring the unknown when he was able to finally get that first sip of coffee in the morning. well, you can say that itâs a common expression someone will use but why is it always them? and how close it was that we caught it? also the way it was natural and effortless. itâs times like this that we see their connection.
they donât show up in front of the camera and events together but little bits like this, them adapting the otherâs habits tell us what is true. i also saw one person say days ago that these two now tend to insert some english words in their sentences and i was like â oh yes. thatâs true. i kinda noticed that too! even the dialect sometimes and other examples. so this incidence is just one of those. that happens when you spend a lot of time or talk to someone so often.
his clothes from acne studios, which a fave between them. yeah. they are not the only two people in this world who wear this brand but you all know we love some wardrobe similarity.
and this one he was saying how he sweats easily and that he is afraid of the summer because of it. which is not a new information cause we have seen this happen. and why he always has a fan with him. but iâm cackling how OP was relating it to that one LRLG rumor where WYB said that when XZ says itâs hot, he gets two strands of white hair. meaning that stresses him out. HAHAHAHAHA! He is too sweet. He canât stand seeing/knowing that XZ is not comfortable.
Now letâs move on to the DOVE chocolates livestream which was so fun đŤ
the first one being ( again ) another example of a similarity. how they both like crispy things, and this is what zz commented when asked. which makes sense cause he likes potato chips among other things. as for wyb, he mentioned this when he was eating that food in ETU.
another way to interpret what wyb said was that he was only appreciating the crispiness of it and not exactly saying he prefers it. he said it himself that he is not picky with food. however i agree that this is more than enough to set off our cpn alarm bells. ugh. they are so obvious sometimes.
there was also a moment where he had to make a sentence based on a word that was given to him and what he came up with was:
we can go camping on the grassland and enjoy a relaxing time together with friend
dude i know we are all sick and tired of the camping cpn but they are not. lol. they love it so much and it gives us more sweet fuel so we have to endure đ and not only that â together with a friend? is this the friend from the crew? đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
he used a cherry for his cupcake too! he really loves it and only put one. reminds me of that cherry cpn.
there was a challenge too where he had to blow the can to move and also push it somehow. he was so persistent! it may seem simple but thatâs one characteristic they have in common. they are competitive in their own way ( okay wyb is more ) and wonât give up on challenges! fans noticed too how xz looks so young with his haircut, and how his whole aura is still so innocent and playful. thatâs one thing i love about them actually. they maintain or choose that kind of wonder in the world even if it hasnât always been kind to them.

I'd love something about Dream who's very aware that he's way too intense romantically while also being not intense enough sexually because he's ace. His partners usually prefer it the other way around. If that's something you'd be willing to write (if not that's okay too)
hmm yes, we can always do ace dream. though we didn't quite reach 'aware' đ human uni au is what popped to my mind
--
When Hob gets back from class, Dream is lying facedown on the couch, one long arm trailing morosely down to the floor, face smashed so deeply into a pillow that Hob can only see the tufts of his hair. He seems to have been there for some time, and doesn't move when Hob comes in.
"Horrors insurmountable today?" Hob asks as he puts down his bag and heads to the adjoining kitchen to grab a snack. He'll probably need to grab one for Dream, too, now that he thinks about it. Doubtful he's eaten.
Dream just makes an mmph sound against his pillow. Then, once Hob's returned to the living room with a plate of apple slices, Dream pops his head up, lines all over his cheek from the pillow, fluffy hair going every which way, and says, "How much do you care about sex?"
Hob nearly trips and flings his apple slices everywhere. "What?"
"In general," Dream persists, heedless of Hob's shock. "Do you subscribe to the belief that individuals past puberty, particularly men, think about sex constantly, or is that an exaggeration? Which do you think is more important in a partnership: compatible personalities, or compatible sex drives? And why?"
"What is this, a sociology assignment?"
"Answer, please," Dream insists.
Hob sighs and gives in to the mad questioning. Joke's on him for having an insane roommate. "I thought about sex all the time when I was thirteen, maybe. Right now I'm just thinking about how I haven't eaten since breakfast and I'm fucking starving but we're playing Twenty Questions instead of eating. And as to the second one, I don't know, Dream, I think both are probably important."
"So you think about sex an amount you would consider 'frequent'," Dream presses.
Hob's cheeks heat. Sex is not really a topic he wants to discuss with Dream of all people. Those two thoughts don't meld together into anything good for polite company. "I don't know, I guess!? Doesn't everyone?"
Dream lets out a despairing wail and thumps his head back into his pillow. "I am outnumbered."
Hob still has no idea what the hell he's on about. He finally gives up and just starts eating the apple slices. He offers one to Dream, holding it by the corner of his eye until he finally sees it and takes it, turns his head to the side just enough to start nibbling on it.
"You'll choke if you eat that lying down," Hob warns.
Dream begrudgingly pushes himself up, collapsing against the back of the couch, and goes back to nibbling on his apple slice.
"So," Hob continues, awkwardly, when Dream doesn't say anything else, "sex life not going so well, then?"
Dream glares at him, though it's not very intimidating considering the apple halfway into his mouth. "Too well, by most standards," he finally sniffs, and eats the rest of the slice.
"Oh, yeah?" Dream having sex is another thing Hob doesn't really like to think about. Why'd he bring that up again?
"Indeed. I have suitors falling over each other to bed me," Dream says.
Do all classic literature students talk the way Dream does? Hob doesn't know. It's been two years that they've lived together and he's still yet to definitively figure out if it's an affectation or just the way Dream is. He's leaning towards the latter.
Unfortunately, he can believe Dream's statement. Dream is a snitty little prick most of the time, but he's also unbearably beautiful.
"So what's the problem, then?" he asks.
"I don't want them to bed me," Dream says.
Hob's not following. "Say no, then?"
Dream rolls his eyes. "I don't want them to bed me, I want them to want me." His voice loses some of its determination halfway through the sentence, and he looks away.
Ouch. "Sounds like they do want you?"
Dream snorts. "Only so long as it suits them. Only so long as I fit their parameters. Today I spoke to Cori--"
Ah, yes, Cori, Dream's most recent ex-boyfriend. Dream's had a lot of ex-boyfriends, but Cori really tops the list, and not in a good way.
Now that Hob thinks about it, all of Dream's relationships kind of go the same way. Dream comes home after the first date bouncing off the walls with stars in his eyes insisting this person's the one, and within two months the thing's somehow torpedoed into the Underworld and Hob's scraping Dream up off the bathroom floor.
He's starting to see where the initial line of questioning might have come from.
"--and he, at last, was straightforward with me when no one else has bothered to be all this time. I demanded to know, truthfully, why he ended things, and he told me that I 'care too much, but won't put out'--"
Hob winces.
"--which does not make sense, as we had sex frequently? I do not know what else I am meant to be 'putting' and where. I said as much, and he laughed, and said--" he imitates Cori's voice with a surprisingly passable American accent-- "'It only counts if you at least pretend you want to be there, doll. Next time try initiating occasionally.' He left before I could question him further."
Hob doesn't like the picture this is painting. And Dream is looking at him beseechingly, like Hob might be able to explain the bizarre encounter. "So... now you're trying to figure out if your understanding of sex is wrong or something?"
"I felt that, as a neutral observer to the situation, you would be appropriate to survey," Dream says.
(Neutral is a stretch, Hob thinks.)
"So I ask you, Hob Gadling, as a man demonstrably unbothered by 'hookup culture'--"
"Are you calling me a slut?"
"--what do you think is the correct amount that one should care about sex? Because I--" he breaks off, twisting his fingers in his hair, suddenly anxious-- "I do not know what I am doing wrong."
Hob moves to sit beside him, lays a hand lightly on his arm. He's about to say, you're not doing anything wrong, except... that may not precisely be true. At least in terms of how Dream is actually handling it with his partners.
"How much do you care about sex?" he asks.
"Not as much as I am supposed to, evidently," Dream says. Hob just waits for him to elaborate. "Not very much. I prefer not to think about it." He looks at Hob, weary. "Now you will tell me that this is abnormal."
"I don't know what's 'normal'," Hob says. "But it does sound different from how Cori felt about it."
"I suppose," Dream says, sadly.
Hob doesn't particularly like where the intersection of 'I don't care about sex' and 'we had sex all the time' lands him. "If you don't care that much, why keep doing it?"
"It is what is done, is it not?" says Dream. "Besides. I do not mind so much. But even when I do participate, it is still not good enough. Or so it seems."
It's because they're picking up on the fact that you're not really enjoying it, Hob thinks. No one wants a partner who's not engaging. Least not anyone decent. But not saying anything and then just dipping out suddenly is kind of a dickish move, in his opinion.
"Do you want to participate?" he asks.
This seems to give Dream pause. "Mostly I would prefer to do other things. Like. Dates. Only that does not seem much appreciated either." He twists his hands together. "Perhaps Cori is right. I. Care too much."
"No." Hob takes Dream's hands and untwists them. "Cori's a dickhead. You just need to find someone who's on the same page as you, that's all."
"But it seems that book is rather empty," Dream says. He hasn't taken his hands back from Hob.
"Well, was there anyone that you did like having sex with? Or has it always just been--" he can't help but cringe-- "you just putting up with it because you thought you were supposed to?"
"Calliope," Dream says instantly, and Hob lets out a relieved breath. At least it's not all bad. "Because, no matter that it ended poorly... I felt that she truly liked me. And not. Just sex."
"Okay, see?" he says. "You just have to find someone like that."
It... hurts, to try to push Dream into someone else's path. But Hob's long accepted that Dream doesn't feel that way about him. Dream rarely seems hesitant about trying to date anyone he is interested in. Surely if he felt that way about Hob, he would have made it clear by now.
"Someone," Dream echoes, looking down at their joined hands.
"Just because what you want isn't common doesn't mean it's not out there," Hob says, trying to be encouraging. "And hey, if you know now, you can avoid the whole 'not on the same page' rigamarole, hm?"
"Yes," Dream says. "I suppose so." Finally he takes back his hands, instead taking another apple slice from the plate Hob's left on the coffee table and chewing on it slowly.
I would love you right, Hob thinks, unwanted, unbidden. It's not a productive thought, and it's a painful one, too.
"Perhaps I will take a break," Dream decides, though doesn't sound entirely happy about it.
"Could be good," Hob says. "Get your head on right."
"Yes," Dream agrees. "This has been. Illuminating. I thank you for your counsel. I suppose I will have to also thank Cori, 'dickhead' though he may be."
And with that he retreats to his room, still seeming a little off-kilter. And Hob can't help but feel like he's gone wrong somewhere, said something wrong, though he doesn't know where, or what.

Progress Update - 7/12/23
hello and happy Wednesday! đ
things continue to happen So Much, but lucky for me one of those things is progress! A change in outlook on everything has done wonders for me when it comes to my creativity and also my productivity. instead of "soon things will slow down and get back to normal", I've finally accepted the fact that 2023 is the year of Things Happening All The Time Constantly, and that I can't keep waiting for normal.
the horrors persist, but so do I, and I'm not gonna let them slow me down anymore
that particular epiphany has done a lot for me. I think we're finally approaching the last leg of this endless code race! I miss writing so much, and I am really looking forward to getting back to that soon đ
on a not quite Speaker-related note, my daughter (who is 7 1/2 and also reading this over my shoulder) has decided that I am going to write a story called "The Legend of the Wolf Men" and has also insisted I tell you all about it. it's a high fantasy story in which the player is a werewolf knight and fights zombies. there's a princess involved who is also a werewolf. that's all I know so far, but she wanted y'all to know about it đ
werewolf princesses will have to wait until I finish this damn update though lmao
I think that's all I've got for this time! I hope you all are staying cool in this terrible heat (or staying warm, for my southern hemisphere friends), and I'll see you all next time đđđ
#speaker game#weekly update#yes she said I HAD to tell you about the wolf men RIGHT NOW#she's naming all the characters and is giving me the plot and everything#all I have to do is the writing lol

Damn Those Dog Tags: Part 21 - My Fair Lady
đ Merry Christmas, you filthy animals! đđ
âď¸+18, strong language, godmother reader/original female character, mentions of an original child character, reunions, sexual themes (I mean smut, so get out of here if you ain't +18, I mean it!!!), they finally do it! (first times, nakedness, sex, all that jazz --> So yes, that is a spoiler!).
#10k words (this one is long, and I'm not apologizing for it, LOL)
Part 20 | Masterlist | Part 22
With Sadie away at camp, you finally got the time and the opportunity to surprise her and redo your guest room into her room.
The house was a mess. Boxes of new furniture waiting to be built: a desk, a bookcase, a new bedframe. Her mattress slanted against the hallway. Old white sheets covered every inch of the floor and things that could not be moved.
You'd taken the shade off one of the bedside table lamps and stuck it in the corner of the room, its soft, warm light guiding you as you stood on a ladder, carefully stroking a painter's brush covered in green paint just below the edge of the ceiling, balancing the paint bucket on the top step.
The problem you had with projects like these was that you didn't really know when to stop. Staring when it was still light out, nothing but music playing softly through the speakers from your vinyl player, it was well past 2 AM before you knew it.
At least this passion project was one of the few things keeping you from obsessively worrying about Jake. And Bradley.
The static noise popping through your speakers was a welcome relief for your neck. With one last paint stroke, you climbed down the ladder, picturing your records and what one you could put on next. You bit your lip, reaching up to grab the bucket and the lid from the top step, covering it and hitting it closed with a thump.
You knelt next to the crate, searching for the record you had in mind when a persistent knock at your front door startled you. You weren't expecting anyone, let alone in the witching hours of the early morning.
Everything that happened with Tyler left you weary. Every white car you passed on the street made your skin crawl, and when Penny finally re-opened the Hard Deck and you returned to work, each time the door swung open in a dramatic fashion, you half expected to see Tyler standing there, a predatory glare in his eyes.
People also had a habit of knocking on your door late at night to deliver bad news. But something told you you needed to answer it anyway.
You slowly tip-toed down your hallway, plastering yourself to the wall, hoping to stay out of sight of whoever knocked on your door before peering through the peephole. Shocked to see the person pacing back and forth along your front porch, you whipped the door open.
"Alyssa?"
She stopped pacing, twisting her body towards the sound of your voice.
As long as you knew her, Lyssa had never once cried in front of you or came close to being visibly upset. She was direct, used humour in the most inappropriate moments, and always played things close to the chest. To see her face, beat red and tears streaming down her face, you couldn't help your unease.
Something had to be seriously wrong.
"Is Will okay?" you asked her. "What's' wrong?"
She shook her head, stepping in front of you. "Um, no, he's okay. We need to get down to Top Gun. Now."
"Top Gun? It's almost three in the morning."
She shook her head again. "Will's father got word an aircraft carrier got caught in a hurricane somewhere overseas. It sunk. They're bringing in the survivors now."
Heart dropping into your stomach, your legs wobbled. You fell against your door frame, hands gripping the wood tight enough to hurt. Your throat was screaming at you, and you couldn't swallow.Â
There was only one other time you could compare to how you were feeling now.
Friday nights were the worst fucking days of your life.
"Please don't tell me..." you croaked. "Please don't tell me it was theirs."
You gripped Jake's dog tags tight as you caught her harsh gulp, her face remaining stark. She didn't say anything. Not that she needed to. The very fact she was on your doorstep told you everything you needed to know.
She wouldn't have come to get you otherwise.
"Come on, we need to go," she managed to say through a harsh swallow.
You don't know how you managed to loosen your grip on your door frame or how you laced your shoes without screwing up the knots. Or how you got your key in the lock with your shakey hand.
You don't know how you got into the passenger seat of Alyssa's car, either. Or how you managed to put your seat belt on or not throw up as she sped out of your driveway and down to the highway.
A small part of you whithers when you realize you wouldn't have known, wouldn't have been here, hadn't Alyssa's Ex caught wind of it. Nat, Bob, and the rest of the daggers would have, too, eventually, but they probably wouldn't have been informed until it was too late.
You don't even know what's waiting for you at Top Gun, whether both Jake and Bradley were or weren't there. Or only one of them. Or if they would even let you in.
The gates were open to the facility when the two of you arrived. Lyssa followed several cars that were already pulling into the winding entrance, the line starting to build as more and more started to appear from the opposite direction. You leaned forward in your seat as she pulled into the parking lot, your heart in your throat as you tried to see behind the building to the runway. All you saw were blinking red and white lights against the night sky.
Alyssa hadn't even moved the parking brake when you threw yourself out of her car, not bothering to wait for her. The cool night wind bit at your face as you searched the building, looking for any indication they were letting people in. You spied a group of people charging across the parking lot to an open side door, someone in dress kaki's manning it. You followed them, skidding across the pavement as you reached the door, trying not to run anyone over and barrel through the crowd.
Cyclone saw you before you saw him, shouting out your full name amongst the chaos to urge you to the front to let you in with the next group. The words spill out of your mouth before you realize you're saying them. "Do you know if...?"
He shook his head. "If they did, they'll be on the next plane that came in."
A million thoughts skitter through your mind, like spiders across a floor, yet you push them aside.
"I have a friend, Lyssa. Let her in next."
He nodded without complaint, knocking hard on the door to let the group in.
Whether it was the threat of being yelled at for running or that they were inside the famous Navy facility, nobody moved quicker than a brisque walk.
You'd take on any military officer who would dare yell at you for the way you tried to weave in and out of the throngs of people.
The hallway you were guided down led to a hanger. The space had been turned into a temporary relief centre, with tables, cots, and supplies filling every inch. Medics were already helping a few of the officers who looked worse for wear, and dread filled you each time you spun, another injured officer upon another.
You weren't sure you were relieved or scared with each face you saw. Whatever they had to go through to get here, one thing was for certain. They had to do so in a rush.
You halted when you spotted the large military-like plane Cyclone spoke about sitting on the runway in the distance, viewable from the wide open door. Whether it had been there before or it had just arrived, you didn't know. Nor did you question it any further. The only thing that mattered was if Jake and Bradley were on that plane.
But with each group of people that passed, there was no sign of them.
Alyssa finally caught up to you, grabbing your arms from behind and tugging you backwards. "Liz," she started to say, but you tore out of her grasp.
"We didn't have time. We didn't have time," you said repeatedly, threading your fingers through your hair next to your temples. Alyssa reached out again, this time turning you by your raised elbows as you continued to force yourself to breathe. She pushed, and you slowly lost your hold on your roots, lowering your arms until she was grasping at your hands.
"I didn't want to tell him I loved him over a letter. I didn't want our last words to each other to be over a piece of paper," you cried out, trying to tug away. She didn't let go, her grip tight. It made you sob harder.
"I can't go through this again! Not with them, not with him. Not after everything Sadie and I have ever suffered through. It's too much, Alyssa!" you were on the verge of screaming. "We've been through enough!"
Lyssa opened her mouth, words just barely sounding out before her eyes locked on to something behind you. She gasped, and you twisted sharply, watery eyes searching a new crowd of officers making their way off the tarmac and into the hanger. You squinted your eyes, the night sky and the bright white lights from inside making it harder to make out faces.
A cluster of Navy officers broke off from the crowd, parting the way.
Then you saw them.
Both of them.
Jake was favouring a leg as he leaned against Bradley for support, hobbling along as they finally reached the entrance to the hanger, searching for a temporary cot. Even at a distance, you could make out a cut framing his eye, and one side of his face was bruised.
But he was here. He was whole.
He was alive.
You couldn't help it. You charged forward, no feeling in your legs as you zoomed past other families and officers, probably a few high-ranking officials in your paint-smattered shirt and overalls. Time slowed down for you as you ran, even if you were running as if your life depended on it.
"JAKE!"
Jake lifted his head at the sound of your voice, urging Bradley to stop. Bradley looked at him funny, watching his eyes glaze over and wondering if Jake hit his head harder than the medics originally thought. But then he followed his gaze, only to see you charging forward without a care in the world to reach him, and he knew.
Bradley unhooked his arm from around Jake's shoulders, steadying him for a second and then letting go, stepping to the side so you could have your moment.
You slid along the floor as you came to a halt in front of Jake, worried he was more damaged than you could see, arms reaching for him. Jake bracketed his arms tightly around your back the second you touched him, and you buried your face into his shoulder. He grunted as he pulled you tight, shoving his nose into your collarbone.
Jake smelt of the sea, of gasoline and sweat. His flight suit felt ripped under your hands as you tried to find a grip. Or maybe you were trying to assure yourself he was really there. Your mind flashed through all the possible things he might have gone through with each caress, your cries getting louder with each one.
Yet in your panic, you pulled back from his hug, only to take his face into your hands and kiss him hard.
"I love you," you gasped out between kisses. "I'm not getting you go. I'm here. I love you, I love you, I love you."
Jake's response was instant, fingers quickly gripping the back of your neck, the roots of your hair, to drive your head at all the angles he wanted, all the ways that made it easier for him to devour you.
You felt like you couldn't breathe, pulling away from his lips with a tightness in your chest. Your eyes fell on his lips, red and slightly swollen, and you were positive yours were the same. Until you looked up at those green eyes and the rest of the hanger, everyone else, faded away.
Jake smiled at you.
"Hi, Darlin.'"
You huffed a sad laugh through your tears, letting yourself fall into his body, hiding your face in his chest, sobbing.
Jake didn't let the grip on your neck go, curving his hand against the skin, holding you to him. His other arm, at some point, had dropped down to your waist. Whether it was to keep himself upright or keep you from falling over, he wasn't sure. Nor did he really care. Because Jake was pressing his mouth into your hair and closing his eyes to relish the feel of you in his arms.
He was home.
You turned your head against his chest to look over at Bradley, slightly surprised to see him hugging Alyssa. Her forehead was leaning against her hands, currently shaped into a triangle against his chest. She was shaking with silent sobs as Bradley hugged her back, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
The panic you felt before settles in your chest, warmth wrapping around your rib cage. As if he felt your eyes on him, Bradley opened his eyes, resting his cheek atop her head. You reached out, Bradley instantly extending his arm to grasp your hand. You smiled sadly at him with a fresh wave of tears in your eyes, squeezing his hand before burying your head back into Jake's chest, not once letting go.
Feeling you move against him, Jake lifted his head, catching your hand holding Bradley's. He found Bradley looking at the two of you with a smile, in a similar position, with Alyssa wrapped around him.
"Is there something you want to tell us, Rooster?" he said, eyes gesturing to Alyssa. You shook with silent laughter against his chest.
Bradley smiled at you, at Jake, before closing his eyes and letting his lips graze Alyssa's forehead. "Is that any way to speak to your saviour?"
There was no malice in Jake's words when he dropped his head back down to press a kiss into your hair, flippantly shooting back, "Don't push it, Bradshaw. I'm still ahead by one."
---
The ride home had been quiet.
After some harsh convincing by you and Alyssa, Jake and Bradley were allowed to leave. You had gotten the run down by one of the medical officers about Jake. He had no concussion and no broken bones but had ended up with quite a large amount of water in his lungs and a significant amount of bruising the days before.
You caught snippets of Rooster's conversation with the medics, enough to know what happened. You didn't want to know the deeper details unless Jake wanted to talk to you about it. Knowing he almost drowned and Bradley had saved him was enough.
He wasn't at risk of a secondary drowning, but more so pneumonia or an Edema. You'd be calling an ambulance at the first sign of a cough.
Bradley was helping Jake up the steps of your front porch as you went ahead and unlocked your door. Lyssa spotted Jake from below, hands out and ready. Despite her tiny frame, she was there, ready to catch him should he need help.
You were quietly surprised to see Bradley being the one to help Jake. You knew it wouldn't have been easy for either of them: Jake, who didn't want to need to accept the help at all, and Bradley, for whom he was helping.
But once Jake cleared the last step and straightened himself, he patted Bradley on the shoulder, murmuring a 'Thanks, Rooster' before limping over to you.
You looked up at him with a smile, cocking the side of your head in Bradley's direction before saying, "I'll meet you inside?"
Jake nodded, then nodded once to Rooster before continuing inside. Lyssa had walked off back to her car around the same time, leaving only you and Bradley standing alone on your porch. You pulled him into a hug.
"Thank you, Bradley. For saving his life."
Rooster stiffened at your touch but slowly relaxed, arms coming up to wrap around your back. "I know it's not worth much, but I'm truly sorry Lizzie," he murmured. "For all of it."
You shook your head against his shoulder, murmuring a low "Don't," but Bradley pressed on.
"I've been an ass since the start. I've been the one doing all the things I said Jake would do," he said next to your ear, refusing to let you go. "I think I was more worried about being replaced.. and everything else... I just didn't want to see you and the bug getting hurt. The rule was to put Sadie first. Instead, I was the one doing all that. He really does care about the two of you despite some of his faults."
You pulled back from the hug but still left your hand on his shoulder, wiping at your eyes. "Can I ask what made you change your mind?"
Bradley gave a fond look, and you could only stare at him for a second before a smile shot across your face. "Sadie?"
You had wondered what she had scribbled in that letter. She was shifty about it, too, refusing to let you see anything anytime you walked by.
Something told you you'd never know.
Rooster grinned. "Yeah," he said, scratching the back of his head. "Her and the fact, this one saved me yet again. Then gave me a heart attack."
You smiled, looking back at your open door. "I'd like to think he was giving you the chance to make it up to us."
Bradley dropped his chin to his chest, still smiling, before he looked over to Alyssa, leaning against the driver's side of her car.
"Call me if you need help?" he offered, stepping forward to place a hand on your forearm before turning to proceed down your front steps.
"I think we'll be okay," you replied softly, not really caring if he heard you, still staring at your front door.
---Â
The tension inside the house hit you like a wave the second you closed the door. It was just Jake and you now, and despite everything that transpired the past few hours, you felt nervous.Â
Looking down, you spied Jake's boots neatly lined up next to some of yours, making you wonder how he managed to get them off. It made you undo your laces slowly, tactically, as if to stall time.Â
Something about standing here made everything more real.Â
There was also the bit about you sending him that partial nude. And that letter - which you weren't as concerned about. But that damn photo, all inspired by a moment of brevity, had you yelling to yourself, what the hell did I just do? when you dropped it off at Penny's.
You couldn't worry about the shame currently building in the pit of your stomach. You had to press on.
Jake was hurt. He needed you.Â
âJake?â you called out softly, not expecting to find him hunched over, leaning against the wall of your hallway, facing you. You held out your hands, ready to grab him and support him. That was until he sharply lifted his head, eyes the only thing you could truly make out in the dim lighting, the dawn just peeking through your windows. You froze, lowering them, your voice stuck in your throat. Those eyes were challenging you to move, daring you to escape, to make a sound in the dead silence that wasnât what he wanted to hear. With the predatory glint in his eyes, you knew right away what he wanted to talk about.Â
Yet, Jake is the one to break the silence first.
"Where's Sadie?"
"Camp."
You feel like you've just given him the green light for something with those words. He seemed to know it, too.
"What can I do to help you?" the question comes out more quietly than you were anticipating.
Jake straightens himself with a groan but doesn't remove his eyes from you. On the contrary, they are still sharp and as intense as when he first saw you.
"Liz," he spoke lowly.Â
He takes a step forward. You take one back.Â
"I think you know the answer to that."Â
"Do I?" you breathe out, taking another step, and he stalks forward as much as he is able.Â
He nods once. "I got your letter. And your photo."
Your back hits the wall - you can go no further.Â
It's not as if you couldn't escape him or tell him to stop. Jake is pinning you with his eyes as he approaches you and cages you against the wall. You know if you told him to stop, that all this was too much, he'd back away.Â
You don't want him to, though.Â
"Darlin," he roughs out, a hand reaching for your hip, his mouth next to your ear. "I've thought of nothing else."
Your trembling, heaving though no sound is coming out. You knew Jake was tall, muscled, and built like a freaking horse. It's stupid how the thought crosses your mind once again. You feel small against him, pressed up against the wall.Â
"I take it you liked it?"Â
You have no idea where this courage is coming from.Â
"Liked it?" he pressed a kiss on your neck below your ear. "I got hard just looking at it."Â
You title your head back against the wall; eyes closed, an arm coming up to wrap around his neck as Jake continues to press small kisses into your skin, slowly starting to add his teeth. An arm shoots around your waist, tugging you into him, and you gasp, racking up the wall with the movement.Â
"Jake," you gasped to the ceiling, digging your fingers into his hair. He winced against your neck with a groan, pausing. You wondered if you had accidentally injured him more. Because as much as Jake was desperately trying to merge himself into your skin, as much as he was trying to show you just how much he loved you, how much he wanted you, he was utterly exhausted.
And he was hurt.
"There's nothing more I want than to be with you right now," you said calmly, stroking the hair at the back of his neck, sobering the moment. "But you're exhausted. And hurt, Jake. When was the last time you slept? "
Jake sighed into your neck, weight sagging with him, "Only a few minutes on the flight home. Not sure when before that."
It was true. Bradley had managed to resurface with him strung across his back, carrying Jake the rest of the way up that stairwell. His memory was fractured into bits and pieces of moments when he opened his eyes. Him being carried on a stretcher, Rooster sitting next to him in a med tent, voices yelling, and people poking and prodding at him. The flight home was when he really started to get his memory back, but he didn't dare fall back asleep, wondering if it had all been a dream and he really did die back there.
You frowned. "Let me take care of you, okay? I'm not going anywhere."
Pressing a long kiss on his cheek, you carefully untangled yourself from his hold, sliding down the wall. Hooking your arm around his waist, you led him down your hall to your bathroom. Jake's grip on your body was anchored tight. Hand threaded through the opposite pocket of your overalls, a part of him always touching you.
Leaving him to lean against your bathroom counter, you spun to turn on the shower, ensuring the water was okay before coming to stand in front of him once more. Resting your hands on his chest, you toyed with the zipper of his damaged flight suit.
"Do you need help?" you asked him softly.
He knew he could manage without you, even with his back being out of sorts. Yet, he still softly replied, "Go ahead."
You ranked your eyes over the fabric as you pulled down the tab of his zipper. His suit was ripped in some places, and large chunks were torn out, revealing the black tank he was wearing underneath. The zippers of the side pockets were misaligned, and while both of his patches were still intact, the threads were sticking out around the borders, making them unusable.
You made a note in the back of your mind to steal them the second you could.
Once the zipper reached the end, you moved both of your hands down to his chest, taking both sides and pushing the fabric off his shoulders.
Yet you stilled when you felt something hard in one of the pockets, instantly unfolding the fabric and unzipping the pocket, Jake watching you with hooded eyes. You pulled out a water-tight bag, gasping when you saw your letter and the various polaroids through the clear material.
"You.. You saved them?"
Jake let go of your hips to shrug the piece of clothing off, freeing his arms. He placed one hand on your hip, the other taking the bag from you, holding them.
"Why wouldn't I?" Jake's voice was quiet.
You felt a lump in your throat, tracing the bag in his hands. You were curious to know which one is the cockpit photo, but you also know your spontaneous, risky shot is also in with them. It's not that you didn't regret it, nor did Jake's enthusiastic reaction deter you, but you still felt that little bit of shame and embarrassment knowing the physical proof still existed.
"I... I didn't think they would mean that much to you. It was just a thing Sadie and I did so you wouldn't feel left out," you admitted, feeling vulnerable.
"They were all I had of you and Sadie out there."
It guts you, the simplicity of such a statement, yet packed with so much meaning.
Jake placed the bag behind him on the counter, ready to resume his grip on your body. Except his eyes caught sight of the pieces of metal dangling over the front of your chest, and he reached out to take his Dog Tags into the palm of his hand.
"You're wearing them."
You followed the chain to stare at the two pieces of metal. Your reply was soft, "I rarely took them off."
He didn't need to know about your breakdown. Not yet. You had said enough in your letter for him to know you had done what you needed to do, but he didn't need to know about the events that led up to it.
That was a conversation for another day.
Jake sighed, letting them drop back down in between the two of you, hand curving around your hip and pressing his forehead to yours. The two of you stayed like that for a few seconds until you felt him fiddling with the clasp on your hip, never fully releasing it from its hold.
He didn't need to voice it for you to know the question behind the action. It was clear as day as to what he was asking of you.
Will you join me?
Remember all those times over the past year you told yourself to fuck it? This was definitely getting added to all those other times.
Because you found yourself reaching down to your side and finishing the job, releasing the button from his hold. You felt Jake's breath against your mouth, warm and wet, as he slid his hand up to one of the front clasps, popping the buttons out of the hooks as he tugged, repeating the process with the other.
The two straps fell down your back, and you held your arms up in a silent invitation. Jake seemed to hold his breath as he pulled at your battered shirt, up over your head, to reveal your bare breasts.
He tossed your shirt to the side in the general direction of your laundry basket, but you didn't take your eyes off his to find out if it hit its mark. You feel no shame as he dropped his gaze. He's seen them before, kissed them, touched them. But the way his eyes rake over them makes it seem like it's the first time he has.
But when you reach for his black tank, pulling at the hem to work it over his body, you catch the view of his back in your mirror and let out a terrifying gasp.
His back is one big purple bruise, marring his skin. It spread from the curve of his right shoulder blade, sinking its way across his spine and ending near his hip. The only comparison you could draw to it was a painter's palette of cool colours mixed in with black. Whatever he had hit, it was clear the impact had been severe.
"Jake," you cry out, stepping to the side so you can turn him and see the damage for yourself, not in some reflection.
"How bad is it? The medics told me it's there."
"It's not pretty."Â
It was the most accurate statement you could give him without wanting to double or even triple-check the work of the medics on him. He let you investigate the bruised skin for a few seconds more before moving out of your grasp and facing you.Â
"Come on," he uttered. "Let's get under the water."Â
You quickly removed the rest of your clothing, letting the rest of your overalls and underwear fall to the floor, using your toes to work off your socks. Jake managed to get the remainder of his flight suit off with little struggle, boxers included.Â
You weren't ashamed of your body. But you were a little apprehensive, letting Jake see everything in its entirety. It makes you step into the shower first, almost as if you were trying to run away.Â
All this is new to you. And the internal battle currently raging on in your head was making you hesitant. Because even standing here, naked in your shower, Jake's eyes ranking over you like you were his last meal from behind the glass door, you still fought with yourself not to look at him.
But let's be real. You were a virgin, new to all of this.
You definitely looked.
And tried to mute the squeal that was trying to crawl its way out of your throat as you turned to let the running water hit your face. You could hear Jake's warm chuckle from behind you as he stepped into the boxed space.
"Like what you see?" he spoke lowly into your ear, dragging your back to rest against his front by your elbows.
"I'm not going to answer that question. 'Cause we both know if I do, it's going to lead to something."
You could feel all his ridges and sharply defined muscles against your back, and it took you everything not to mould yourself into him. Jake pressed a kiss to your shoulder, then another to your neck, before resting his cheek against yours. "And what would that be?"
"Jake..." you warned, your voice slightly shakey.
"Not tonight," he replied, dragging his hands up your arms. "I just wanted to see how far that blush of yours goes."
"Oh, you kinky.." but he didn't let you finish, catching your mouth in an opened-mouth kiss. You moaned, tilting your head back before turning to face him, wrapping your arms around his neck.
You released his lips to glaze up into his eyes, taking the moment to assure yourself yet again he was here with you. You matched his soft smile before he zoned in on your cheek, reaching up to thumb the skin. His face was hardened in concentration, no doubt rubbing at a stroke of paint you'd accidentally marked yourself with, working to get it off. You smiled, pressing a kiss to his wrist.
"What's this from?"
"I'm painting Sadie's room, trying to make it more hers as a Birthday gift."Â Â
Jake hummed.Â
The two of you continued to shower together, you mostly helping Jake. You tried not to get too caught up in staring at him, biting your lip in concretion as you rubbed body wash over him. You felt his eyes on your face the entire time, and you tried to resist the urge to lean up and kiss him.Â
Jake made you spin around to face the showerhead to return the favour. Feeling his hands caress your skin, letting him work the soap under the swells of your breast, along your arms, even down the panel of your stomach, you had to fight the arousal pooling in between your legs.Â
Not to mention, you could feel him growing hard and heavy against your lower back.Â
"This isn't fair. I'm the one who's supposed to be taking care of you," you murmured, leaning your head back against his shoulder. Â
He pressed a delicate kiss to your collarbone. "This is taking care of me."Â
You ended up getting out first, picking up each of your discarded clothing, throwing them in the basket, and reaching for the towels you kept on the makeshift shelf on your wall as Jake finished with his hair. You saw the frown on his face when he stepped out, and you rolled your eyes affectionately at him, handing him a towel.
Helping him to your room, you left him to sit on the corner of your bed. You rummaged through your top drawer, pulling out the pair of his boxers you had accidentally missed when you packed up his bag. You found them on the day you were getting things ready to visit Ridley.
He took them without a word while you pulled on your sleep shirt and underwear, ironically the same baggy nightshirt you wore the night of that damn thunderstorm where he kissed you.
Climbing into your bed, you held up your comforter as an invitation. He fell face-first into your chest with an aching groan, grabbing your sides to pull himself half on top of you, his head finding a home in the crook of your neck.
Your suspicions from before are finally confirmed. Because even as he held you, Jake was desperately fighting sleep.
Pressing a delicate kiss to the cut on his cheek, you grazed your lips up until you could press them just below his hairline, your fingers threading themselves soothingly through his hair.
"Go to sleep," you whispered into his forehead. "I'll be here when you wake up."
---
You slowly awoke to the sensation of lips delicately pressing soft kisses into your forehead and fingers stroking along the back of your arm, the occasional touch of warm metal accompanying the touch. You mewled, curling yourself deep into the apex of his shoulder, lulled by sleep.
"I'm sorry I woke you. Go back to sleep."
You pressed a sleepy kiss to his bare chest. "I should be awake. I'd sleep the day away like this if I could."
Jake hummed, resuming his gentle caresses. He had raked down your sleep shirt along your back, fingers now dragging up and down your spine, getting lower and lower each time he did it, causing you to shiver.
"I had a dream like this. While I was away on the carrier," he spoke, pressing another kiss to your temple. "At the ranch in Texas. In my room above the barn."
"Tell me?" you yawned, still half asleep, warm and content.
Jake nosed into your cheek, trailing it over your skin as he spoke, "The two of us. In my bed. Naked."
You shook silently with laughter, turning your head back against his arm. "Of course you did."
You would have seen Jake smiling down at you had you decided to open your eyes.
"I'd dream I woke up with your back to me, sheets resting low on the curve of your back." He slid the back of his fingers across your exposed shoulder, getting lost in the image in his head. "The barn door was open, catching the first rays of sunlight in your hair. There must have been a storm cause the grass was so green, everything was so right."
You leaned away from his chest, resting your head further back on his arm to peer up at his face. Jake's hair is dishevelled, his eyes harbouring the remnants of sleep, worn and puffy. His bruise had already begun to yellow, and his cut didn't appear red or as swollen. Yet, looking up at him from within the safety of his arms, huddled against his massive chest, you find yourself wishing you could control the way air catches in your throat.
"Sounds perfect."
Jake smiled softly, leaning down to kiss you. You moan in protest, turning your head away and barely managing an "I have morning breath" to Jake as his lips land on your cheek.
"I don't care," he rasped into your ear. You turned your head back, and he placed his mouth on yours.
You give as much as he is giving you, letting Jake caress your tongue with his, letting him take and take at his pleasure, until he is releasing your mouth and mouthing across your cheek.
Heâs taking his time with you, something so different from the previous times you've found yourself against or under him, at the mercy of his mouth and hands. There's hesitation in his movements, wary of making any sudden, intense movements that might have you bolt.Â
"You're taking your time," you say aloud, carting your fingers through his hair. Jake laps gently at the corner of your neck, hand stroking down the side of your leg. He pulls back to stare at your face, you meeting his gaze.
"I almost didn't have time."
God, you know how true that statement is. And the fact, the Jake who left you standing at the end of your driveway all those weeks ago wasn't the exact same one who returned to you.Â
Jake travels down the length of your body, and you let him push up your oversized shirt, revealing your breasts. "Hello, girls," he grinned, pressing a single kiss to each breast. "Oh, how I've missed you."
It makes you laugh, carting your fingers through his hair, messing it up even further. You can feel him smile against your skin. But then he is trailing his nose down your core, down your stomach, lightly grazing your skin with his lips as he goes. You watch him with careful eyes, your breath picking up quickly.
You know his intentions, where this is going, what it would evidently end up being. And youâre okay with that. You trust him, and you love him. There wasnât anyone else you could imagine having your first time with.Â
Working himself down to the end of your bed, Jakeâs face hovers over your underwear, his eyes searching yours. You nod, reaching down to help him remove them, Jake flinging them behind his head in a dramatic fashion, making you laugh once again.
Until heâs lining up kisses down the inside of your thigh, stopping when heâs just that close to your core. And then he looks up once again. You can hardly see any green in his eyes, just a thin strip on the edge of being overtaken by black.
âCan I put my mouth on you?â
What do you do but stutter an embarrassing reply of, âIf you want to.âÂ
Jake wouldnât ask if he didnât want to. You knew that. He even chuckles at your answer teasingly.
âYouâre going to have to keep these open if I do,â he says, tapping the back of your thigh. âIâm not going to nearly perish a second time, though what a hell of a way to go.âÂ
You huff in amusement, tinting your head back against your pillow only to drop your chin to your chest, looking at him between your legs.
âJust be gentle with me, Jake. Iâm notâŚâÂ
Experienced is the word you leave out, but you know Jake understands you. He always seemed to when it comes to you.
He places both of your legs on his shoulders before reaching up to thread his fingers through yours at your side. He barely has time to punch out the words, âTell me to stop if itâs too much,â before his nose is parting your folds and heâs swiping his tongue up and down your cunt repeatedly.Â
You pull against his hold on your hands at the feeling, wailing and then biting your lip to quiet yourself, muffling your sounds.
Jake lets go of one of your hands to thumb your bottom lip, removing it from your teeth. He lifts his head and says in one breath, âSadieâs not here, Liz. Let me hear you moan for me.â
And then heâs sucking on your clit, and you canât hold it in any longer. The noise you let out is practically a scream, and the vibrations from Jakeâs moan against your cunt push you that much further. Cause the fact he mentioned her name while headfirst deep between your legs is filthy.Â
And the sounds that follow, echoing around your bedroom, are raunchy. The night Jake kissed you in your hallway, your worries about Sadie hearing both of you come to mind. Because thank God she wasnât here, or else sheâd think Jake was murdering you.
Youâd have to work on being quiet if you ever wanted to do this again with Jake once she came back home.Â
You felt hot with your shirt racked up around the top of your breasts, gripping the hem to rip it over your head, your back leaping off the bed as far as it could go. Jake glances up, still working his mouth against your cunt to watch, the only remaining piece on your body is his tags.
You buck into his mouth, having no control over your body as he just sucks and sucks and sucks, your grip on his hand getting tighter and tighter, and youâre gripping your comforter to the point your hand throbs from the force. Cause everything burns and feels so good and yet so bad, and you cry to whatever part of you decided you needed to wait to experience this.
But in the back of your head, you know nobody could make you feel the way Jake was making you feel now.
Something snaps, hard, your muscles pulling tant and the cry blaring out into the ceiling of your bedroom is anything but salacious. And Jake's voice is muffled when he works you through it, chanting, âGood girl, thatâs my good girl,â over and over as you chant your hips to chase the feeling.
You are a shaking mess when Jake finally lets go, and slides back up your body, letting his weight settle against your chest, arms threading themselves under your shoulders.
"Was that okay?"Â
You don't even have the words to describe how you are feeling. Your eyes are wide, staring up at him, wondering why the hell he'd be asking such a question when he caused you to be in such a state.Â
Instead, you lurch up and kiss him hard, your hands gripping the middle of his back, sliding down to slip under the fabric of his boxers. Jake jolts when he feels your hands cupping his ass.Â
"Are you sure, darlin'?" he pants, pulling away from you. "Are you sure you want this? With me?"
This was Jake. He wouldn't have you without your consent.
"I only want you."
It's slightly cheesy. But there was no other way you could put it. You couldn't imagine doing this with anyone else. But he challenges you again, asking, "Are you sure you want it to be me?"Â
You wanted to smack him for his sheer idiocy right now, bringing up his shitty perception of his self-worth. But you don't want to ruin the mood, and you know where it's coming from deep down. It has nothing to do with you.Â
"I do," you say instead, rubbing your nose against his. "I just don't know how to make you feel good, though."
"It's not about me right now."
Except it was. It was about both of you.
"Get on top of me."
The both of you rolled, Jake grabbing your hips as you landed on top of him. You sat up, placing your hands on his chest. The action had you rocking yourself back onto his clothed cock, and Jake let out a moan, hands tightening on your waist to push and pull with your movements.
Leaning down to kiss him once, you followed his jawline, reaching his ear. "You want to know something?" you asked, suddenly emboldened.
"What?" he gasped, nails biting into your skin.
"I've been dying to do this since the first time I saw you on the beach."
You felt the pinch of his nails as you kissed down his neck, making sure to catch a patch of skin between your teeth softly. You continued down his chest until you finally got to your desired place.
The divet.
The perfectly sculpted yet slightly crooked valley that split the entire length of his chest in half. You had a brief moment of panic, a stutter in your heartbeat, when you realized just how forward you, the freaking virgin, were being. Hell, you didn't even know if you were doing any of this right.
All you knew, you had waited long enough.
Spread out beneath you, Jake's body is spread out for you like a personalized meal. You pressed a kiss into his skin first before letting your tongue press deep into that valley and swirl all sorts of patterns across his skin. His eyes nearly bugled out of his head before Jake groaned, chest puffing out and hand fisting into your hair.Â
You work your way up, getting ready to take one of his nipples into your mouth, when Jake suddenly shouts and lets out a fevered, "Stop."Â
You reel back in shock, scared you overstepped. But Jake only tugged you up by your hips, using you as a counterweight to pull himself to sit against your headboard with a painful groan. He settled you directly against his pelvis, where you can feel just how hard he is through his boxers.
He grips the back of your neck hard and slams his lips into yours. You whimper into the kiss, worried he's using it as a tactic to let you down gently. When he finally releases your lips, you burst out, "I'm sorry, I overstepped. I shouldn't have.."Â
Jake grips your throat, thumb resting just barely on your Adam's apple, enough to know it's there. You can feel it with each hard sallow you take, his hand big enough to encompass the entire length and width of your neck.Â
"Don't ever apologize for that," he states firmly. "I'm yours to do with what you will. And trust me when I say there is a lot more you can do to me than just a simple kiss on the chest."Â
And there's the blush.Â
"I told you I'd corrupt your innocent little soul," he smirks, pulling you to his mouth once again. Â
The next few moments are filled with long, passionate kisses and heavy touches until Jake is reaching for the hem of his boxers, and you find yourself helping him pull them down, him kicking them off in some unknown direction.Â
Unlike this morning, there's no hesitation when you take him in, his cock hard and standing to attention. You regret your reaction to the comment you made about his helmet last year. Cause there was truth behind that one missing letter.Â
Jake reaches for you, helping to position you over him before he suddenly freezes. "Shit," he gasped, pushing you to sit on his thighs. "We don't have anything."
You ducked your head shyly. "We don't need one if you're okay without one. I... I'm on the pill."
"You're on the pill?"
You know what he means behind the question instantly.
"Two months before Penny asked me back. Other reasons, though. Not that I was expecting to get laid at any point in time," you answer him quietly, lifting your head. "You know me, Jake. I don't do one-night stands. I never have."
Jake relaxed under your hold, a small part of him sighing in relief.
"Worried I moved on?" you ask him softly, stroking your finger across his brow.
"You had every right to," he's almost ashamed to admit. You shook your head. "When are you going to get it through that stubborn head of yours that you are worth it, Jake? I love you. I'm not going anywhere."
Jake sighed again, dropping his forehead to your collarbone.
"Besides, you painted a pretty picture in the flatbed of your truck," you tease, quickly reciting the words he had rasped into your ear when his fingers were almost knuckle deep in your cunt. You drop your head forward and whisper into his ear, "The day I can have you gripping my cock?"
Jake growled at your words, reaching for your thigh to properly position you over him. Straddling his waist, you rest on your knees. Jake grabbed his cock, angling it just so as to rub the tip against your cunt slowly. You weren't sure whether he was teasing you or getting you used to a feeling.
Maybe it was a bit of both.
Then his tip caught at your entrance, and you let out a whimper.Â
He stops, not doing anything else except letting go of himself to latch onto your other hip. Tilting his head, he places a kiss on the underside of your jaw, breathing in deep.
You understand why Jake had you move on top of him for this. He was letting you control the pace and do what only felt comfortable to you. It warms your heart, even if it is on the verge of jumping out of your chest.
"Take your time, darlin," he encouraged you softly, mouthing at the skin under your collarbone. "I'm here whenever you are ready. And we can stop at any point."
You took a deep breath, finally finding the courage to press yourself down onto him.
Something between a whine and a gasp escaped your lips as you felt the tip of his cock enter you. You had no previous experience to compare this to, but you were sure you weren't supposed to feel this stretched out. Or this full.Â
You got about halfway down before you cried out, sightly in pain. Jake's grip tightened on your leg and hip, muscles flexing as he halted you. You're slick, but it's a tight fit. And his breath was just as ragged as yours.
Sliding the hand that was griping your hip up your back, Jake encompasses the nape of your neck in his hand, tiling your head down so he could take your mouth into an open kiss.
"Jake," you whimpered into his mouth, your nails digging hard into his shoulder. Jake kept a tight rein on his control, but it was a battle he was struggling with. You just felt too good around him.
"Such a good girl for me," he cooed. "Taking my cock."Â
"I don't know if I can go any further," you whimper. But Jake is quick to reply, "We don't have to, not if you don't want to. But you're almost there, just a little bit more."Â
"Fuck," you whined, tearing yourself away from his mouth to bury your face into his shoulder.  His hand tightened against the nape of your neck, fingers tangling themselves into the roots of your hair. The grip is reassuring and grounding, and you take several deep breaths before you press down once again.
Then, just when you think you can't take anymore, he bottoms out, his hips pressed tightly into yours.Â
That's it. You were a virgin no longer.Â
And suddenly, with that thought, you felt nervous. Because, of all things, that damn fucking sign in the girl's bathroom of the Hard Deck flashes in your mind.
Jake is experienced. You're not. It was one thing for him to say he didn't mind you were a virgin, but it was something else for him to be the one to change that status. Because every story you've ever read about how men would compare their previous partners to their current one eats away at you.
There was no way you would stack up to the long list of women Jake had bedded, for lack of a better word. But Jake only nuzzled the valley between your breasts, tongue delicately tracing the underside of one while rubbing soothingly down the curve of your spine.
"Perfect," he murmured softly. You can't help yourself when your next words come out more anxiously than teasingly. "Live up to your imagination?"
If Jake caught on, he didn't let you know.
"Better," he groaned. "I don't care if we do anything else. I'm perfectly content to be like this the rest of the day."
He twitches inside you, and you gasp, dropping your mouth to rest against the top of his head. You know what he is doing. He's letting you adjust, letting the pain subside, assuring your anxious thoughts.
"Like this? Me, wrapped around your cock, barely moving," You manage to pant, and he hums against your chest. "What if we have company? Rooster tends to show up unannounced."
"He better not," his growl vibrates off your skin, hand flexing on your thigh in an effort not to thrust. "He should know better than to show up at your door when he knows damn well what we're getting up to."
Jake titles his head to set his teeth into your collarbone in a warning, making you clench involuntarily and whimper. He snarls into your neck, "Don't mention him when I'm inside you. This is not going to end badly, not for your first time."
The heat laced in his voice did nothing to stop the small chuckle that racked your chest. Your muscles pull tight across your stomach, and you choke, "Are you trying to make me combust?"
"Is it working?"Â
Jake doesn't move. Not at first. Not until you decide to test the waters and flex your hips once, rocking yourself on his cock ever so slightly.Â
Your mouth is resting open against his forehead, and your nails are biting into his shoulders as you moan, letting the first thumps of pain, turn into pleasure. He's tense under you, Jake, using every ounce of willpower not to thrust himself hard up into you to match your rocks. He wants to take this slow. He wants you to enjoy this, no matter how badly he wants to feel you clench around him.
Instead, he rasps into your breast, âFeel good?âÂ
Why is he so obsessed with asking you questions?
Youâre unsure if your noise is intelligible, but you try to force out an affirmative hum. Then he hits the back of your cervix, making you howl and curl into him. Â
It must have been the sound you let out because Jake growls. Gripping the flesh of your butt tightly, he flipped the both of you. You weren't expecting him to, not with how beaten up he was. The movement of your back hitting the bed caused him to hit something deep inside you, causing you to cry out and grip the planes of his shoulders, nails biting hard and uncaring if you happened to touch his bruise.
The slow movement of you rocking on him was nothing compared to the way he started to thrust in earnest.Â
"You have no idea how much I've wanted you," he panted, increasing his pace. "The day I saw you at the Hard Deck when you were dancing in your kitchen. The clean fucking slate."
You whimper at the growl he spun on the word fucking, adding to the heat already spreading across your body. Even with the pleasure heâs bestowing across your body, you know this must be somewhat painful for him.
"Jake.." you gasped. "Your back."
"Fuck my back," he grunted, angling his hips in an urgent thrust. It made you tilt your head back into your pillow, your head almost hitting your headboard, your nails biting into his back, letting out a heated cry. Jake went for your neck, teeth, and lips, pressing hard to your pulse point.
"I don't care if I fucking break it," he growled out. "I'm not stopping until you cum for me."Â
A particular thrust caused you to turn your head, and Jake sunk his teeth into your neck. You lifted your leg, wrapping it around Jake's waist. The angle of this next thrust changed, and you whimpered loudly, tears leaking down the sides of your face as Jake lurched over you with a desperate groan.
It has you wrapping your other leg around his waist, your hips slanted downwards, his cock pounding you at a new angle.
His hand, supporting himself on the bed next to you, shot out to grip your bedframe. Alternating between deep thrusts and shallow teases, Jake watched you underneath him. Your breasts bounce with every thrust, your eyes fighting to stay open, and dog tags - his dog tags - jangling against your stomach.
He almost didnât have this, the stark realization haunting him. He had literally been a breath away from never seeing you again, never feeling your warmth or hearing your cries of pleasure or even your laughter. He would take any chance, any glance, anything to assure him you were real. And that you were his.
His back spasmed, and he fell on top of you, saving himself from crushing you at the last second. But it doesnât deter him. No, Jake still flexed his hips, more than determined to get you over that edge, to have you cum. Even if he didnât, he wanted you to experience at least that.Â
But those dog tags cause a possessive feeling to rise in his chest - because the only word going through his head right now is mine.Â
"Youâre mine, Elizabeth,â he grunted. "Say it. Please say it.â
There's the possessive kink you know and love.Â
âIâm yours,â you cry out, consumed by the feeling of him driving his cock into you. âYours Jake, just pleaseâŚâ
It is then a mantra of "pleases" and "I needs" fall from your lips, of which you aren't sure what for. All you knew was that Jake was working you higher and higher off that edge, fully determined to see you tumble over it.
âCum for me Liz,â he whines. Â âCum for me, just for me. Please my darlinâ girl.â
He drops his hand between the two of you, seeking out your clit and rubbing hard, tight circles that have you screaming. Your soaring, going over that somewhat unfamiliar edge heâs brought you over only twice before.
You swear you black out, just for a few moments, until Jake is at your ear, whispering praise after praise about how good it finally felt to have you cum around him. How only he would ever be the one to experience this, how proud of you he is.
Then he thrusts, once, twice, before your hips jolt up, and he's pressing himself deep, flooding your core. You sob, burying your face into his neck and tightening your legs around him. Because amongst the overstimulation, you can feel another one creeping up from out of nowhere. Pure white heat shoots up to your chest as Jake's haunting moan vibrates your entire being.
Then it's quiet, and you want to bury yourself in this moment.Â
You don't even care that you're crying. Because, with all the thoughts and feelings flying back and forth through your mind, there's one that stands out the most.Â
Your so fucking glad you waited.
"Are you alright?"
When you don't say anything, too blissed out to form words, Jake pants out your name against your neck; his voice laced with urgency.
"I need... I need a moment. Just a moment," you manage to pant, forcing breath into your lungs. Jake moves, trying to bring himself onto his elbows as his back screams in protest.
"Did I hurt you?" he asks, stroking your cheek. You manage a small shake of your head, the sides of your mouth turning upwards. "No," you reply softly.
You finally open your eyes to see Jake staring down at you. His brow pulled together in concern. And, of course, you, being you, had to say the first thing that came to mind.
"I guess you did give me a good time after all."
Jake tilts his head for a second before his memory catches up with him, and he shakes his head, though you can see the puff he takes out of pride.Â
"What am I going to do with you, Elizabeth Beck?"
You grin up at him. "Hopefully, a repeat of that sometime in the near future?"
Jake rolled onto his side with a groan, pulling you with him to lie half on his chest. The action caused him to slip out from you, which you were grateful for. The quick movement only caused a brief amount of pain, and you were sure if he drew it out, it would have been worse.Â
Jake was pressing kisses to your forehead as the aftershocks finally made them known. You trembled against him, hands trying to find purchase along his chest, and Jake didn't stop until he was sure you were okay.
But, in the blissful silence, once you calmed down, Jake playing with your hair against your back, did he finally ask the question you knew was coming since he walked through your front door.
"Does she hate me?"
You weakly lifted your head from his shoulder, watching the conflicting emotions play across his face.
"The day at the beach. She was devastated..." Jake trailed off, absentmindedly staring at your bedroom wall. You pressed a kiss to his chest. "We've both had a lot of people in our lives that have hurt us."
"I'm used to disappointing people, but her? She has every right."
You frowned. "She missed you so much, Jake."
He shook his head, slamming his eyes shut. You lifted your hand off his chest to cradle his jaw, your thumb stroking across his cheekbone under the newly darkened skin. "She could never hate you. She asked me every day when you'd be coming home."
Jake didn't open his eyes, but he did lean into your touch, his shame and guilt still evident.
You wanted to tell him about the most recent thunderstorm, Sadie waking up and crying out for the both of you in the middle of the night. You had done your best to soothe her, but deep down, you knew she wanted Jake. Nothing could compare to his words of reassurance or the way she felt when he hugged her that night.
In the end, lifting his dog tags off your neck and placing them around hers was the only thing that worked. Huddled in her bed with your arms around her, she fell asleep with them gripped tightly in her hand.
Something told you even if you did tell him, it would only make him more upset.
You stroked your fingers over his forehead, asking him softly, "Come with me when I pick her up from camp next week? I promise she will prove you wrong."
There was a silent pause, and then he opened his eyes. He searched you for any hint of deception, not that he would find any. Sadie was just as important to him as you were. In the end, he nodded once with a sigh.
It was a few more minutes before he carefully untangled himself from your hold. He swung his legs over to the side of your bed with a groan, his muscles spasming as he sat up. Even in your blissed-out state, you reached out and placed a hand on his upper back, where his bruise was the least dark, hoping to soothe some of his pain.
"Where are you going?"
"Getting something to clean you up."
"You don't have to, Jake. I can take care of it."
"It's my job," he countered, turning his head to look at you with a cheeky grin. "Let me do this for you."
He stood, lumping slightly to your bathroom to grab something to clean you up. You watched him go, taking him in in all his naked glory, biting your bottom lip hard.
You still couldn't believe he was yours.
You weren't expecting this: the gentleness as he took the rag between your legs when he returned, the kiss he placed on your thigh when you whimpered from the sensitivity.
After tossing the rag into your laundry hamper to be dealt with later, he maneuvered himself back into the position he assumed last night when you fell asleep, head buried in your neck, arms wrapped under your shoulders.
It was soothing, his weight on your chest almost counteracting the dull throbbing in your core.
"How long do I have you for?" you asked, threading your fingers through his hair.
"I have nowhere to be for the next two weeks," he mumbled into your chest.
"Stay with me?"
"As if I'd leave you now."
đđ You hate me now?

I have a theory that Apple never actually wanted Raven to be her storybook nemesis all along.
I mean, she thought thatâs what she wanted but I think she really just wanted to be close to Raven.. and that she used their destiny as an excuse. Now just hear me out.
I understand that she wanted her happily ever after, and that she wanted to be queen, and she needed Raven to be able to acquire that, and this definitely explains part of why she was so persistent to get Raven to be her nemesis.
But if that was truly the only thing she wanted then why wouldnât she have just told Raven â hey, is there any way I could convince you to play your part? Just poison me so that the story can play out, and Iâll do whatever I can to just pardon you and we go our separate ways.â
Instead she went extensive lengths to be her friend, such as switching roommates to dorm with her, buying her a mirror, clothes etc, begging her to basically roleplay a rivalry with her and banter with her (even though they havenât even started their story yet)
Not only that but she wanted Raven to poison her. Like all of the time⌠She literally hugged her when she thought she poisoned her đ like there was no other birthday present that couldâve won her over instead
Also the way she completely hates the thought of ANYONE ELSE other than Raven being her ârival.â And says to her âyou and I are supposed to be frenemies!â
when sheâs asked about her relationship with daring the most she can say about that is âthis is just high school we donât need to talk about it now.â Or âyeah heâs my storybook prince but weâre not an item atm.â
Why didnât she have a similar attitude about Raven being her nemesis? She wanted their rivalry to be a whole thing all throughout high school đ

You steal Kyle's hat and run away with it đđŠđŠ
I was feeling the urge to write about this so now I am doing it. đĽ˛đĽ˛đĽ˛đĽ˛đĽ˛
Warnings: None
Gender: Neutral
đ Kyle Broflovski đ˛
You were just hanging out with your boyfriend Kyle and his friends on the playground until you had a mischievous idea running through your head.
Where did you get this idea and why did you think of it? Did Cartman motivate you to mess with your boyfriend or something.
While your thinking of doing this idea with Kyle not evening noticing your mischievous presence directly behind him and near his hat because he was too busy arguing with Cartman again.
Without another thought you immediately snatched his hat off his head revealing his big red jewfro.
Kyle immediately turned his head around only to see you waving his hat in the air with a smirk on your face but also a hint of nervousness.
"What the?! (Name)! give me back my hat!!" Kyle tried to snatch his hat back from you only for you to dodge his hand while waving his hat again in the air.
"If you want it back, you'll have to catch me! If somebody stole the ball from you in basketball and tried to score in your team's net, wouldn't you try to stop them and steal the ball back?" You sticked your tongue out playfully and dashed off.
You always liked seeing Kyle angry because that is also when his full attention and company is all on you. But part of you is a bit worried he might hurt you out of rage since you saw how he's always aggressive towards Cartman with the amount of times he's pissed him off.
When you looked back Kyle was already 6 feet from catching you and he looked really angry.
(He's really persistent.....) You thought as you picked up your pace only for him to match your speed as well.
You and him were running for quite a while and you seemed to be losing your breath and started to slow down your pace a little.
Kyle wasn't out of breath and he was catching up to you very quickly. He ended this chase by tackling you from behind before you even got a chance to speed away from him again.
"Give me....back my hat....right now...!!!!" Kyle said between panting and anger.
You slowly handed him his hat back with him snatching it away aggressively and putting it back on his head before looking back at you with anger still shown on his face.
He was looking pretty intimidating and it made you close your eyes while putting your hands up in self defense.
Instead of you getting punched in the face that could've left a bruise mark or a black eye, Instead Kyle wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close to his chest as he gave you a quick peck on your lips before rubbing your back gently.
"I'm not going to hurt you (Name)...sorry if you think I was going to do that, but don't you ever steal my hat like that again. You know how much I hate showing my hair out in public".
You nodded and rested your head on his neck, you both stayed like that before a while as you both ignored Kyle's friends teasing him at the moment. đđđđ

Damn, I was saying just recently that I'm very sure Nobara is actually dead đ
Gege really went and brought her back for the last five chapters. I'm not sure I'm a fan of that developmentâboth the eleventh-hour return and the fact that she happened to wake up just 30 minutes before the Shinjuku showdown (Edit: Actually, no, she'd have woken up after it started because the Sukuna gauntlet must have been going on for at least half an hour by this point). It feels... contrived, though that's been the case with the bulk of this fight. On the other hand, it does finally justify the persistent ambiguity about her death.
Between this and Megumi fighting back, I guess Gege's going for the 3 lives, 1 dies endingâwhere Gojou dies and the other three live. But then, it does depend on how Sukuna's going to be vanquished for good. If he dies in Megumi's body or is somehow drawn back into Yuuji and killed that way, either Yuuji or Megumi will die. The other option is for Yuuji to live with Sukuna cooking inside him.
Or maybe they'll have Sukuna throw up the fingers and feed them to Rika or something. I don't fucking know at this point.
I do like the parallel with Yuuji's fight with Mahito at Shibuya: Nobara supporting him at a critical point. The flashbacks were also interesting, though I'll need proper translations for a better grasp of it.
Overall though, I'm largely cold about this chapter. I spent a very long time waiting for Nobara to be back before I lost hope, and now that she's here, it just feels so underwhelming.

I miss your writingđ I need me some weems, now idk if youâll consider writing age regression ? Bc I have another idea if you do.
So r is depressed bc they ran out of medication and forgot to refill it since theyâve become ill (me rn itâs horrid and messing with my head) no oneâs seen or heard from r and weems has to do a welfare check. Here she finds a depressed and very sick reader. She knows of readers bad back ground (they are a shifter and was found hanging onto life after being abused in a facility like hydra for shifters) so when r becomes all clingy and very child like it confessed weems. R is so touch starved itâs insane, but with weems rn sheâs like a child wanting and craving the affection just needing to be held. So naturally weems does that and thatâs how she discovers the fever r has and that r ran out of her meds so weems nurses her better. Oh! Could also add r isnât sleeping bc of nightmares due to their background?
Sorry for the long request and Iâm not even sure it makes sense. I need my Damn pills lmao.
đŻď¸
A little sick
Pairings: Weems x Reader (platonic)
Word count: 1.4K
Summary: you're sick and regressed.
TW: agre? Sickness, depression, medicine (prescription),
A/n Iâve never written this kind of thing before so tell me if any of its wrong. Cute request tho :) let me know if you like it or want to see more of this kind of thing.
Part 2
Waking up and feeling like your bones were made of lead was not the way you wanted to start the day. It took all of your strength to pull yourself upright. Standing on shaky legs you wobble over to your dresser pulling out the pouch of pills that helped you with the aftermath of the facility and the depression it left. You knew firsthand how bad it could be to be a shapeshifter. Hunted and experimented on. You drew a deep breath pushing the thoughts away and exhaling slowly and shakily.
Unzipping the pouch, you frowned. All the blister packets were empty. You were out. You slouched dejectedly. It was going to be a long day. Yoko had already left for classes and to be honest you didnât really think you could make it to the wardrobe to get changed let alone all the way to class. You sighed dejectedly and hobbled back to bed and laid down on your back staring at the roof. The feelings were getting harder to push away.
Your chest felt hollow, and you choked back a sob. The last time you were sick ⌠was back there and to be honest you had no idea what would happen if someone found out here.
You zoned out feeling a familiar fuzzy feeling swallow your mind. You tried to push it away which only seemed to make you headache unbearable. The pain was what made you slip. Dropping hard, you felt your body shift. Soon the bed felt much bigger as you curled into a ball and cried. You were tired but scared to sleep, the nightmares seemed to be ever persistent.
You had no idea how long you had been crying, small sobs wracking the tiny body on the bed. Soon a knock sounded on the door.
Weems had had reports all day that you had been absent. Knowing your history with depression she knew it was imperative to do a welfare check as soon as she could. Looking at her calendar she swore. She had a copy if the nurses schedule for meds and prescription refills. Yours were out and it looked like nobody had picked up more for you.
She finally signed off the email she had spent the morning drafting to the mayor. Closing her laptop she toed on her heels, opting to take them off to give her feet a break when sitting and stood smoothing out her skirt. She hurried out the door and to your dorm. Hearing small noises inside she hesitated before knocking, she knew you were in there was was slightly terrified of what she would find inside the dorm.
Hearing the soft knock on the door you wiped a small fist over your eyes and sat up still silent tears running down your cheeks. You waited and heard the door open.
Weems peered into the dimly lit room; the windows still drawn. She saw a small lump on the bed and slowly walked over. The closer she got the more shocked she became. Why was there a toddler in the dorm and why did she look exactly like ⌠y/n?
Small sad eyes looked up at her and sniffled. Weems stood awkwardly not really knowing what to do. She had a suspicion. She knew you were a shifter like herself. She looked down at you and it clicked. It made sense with the amount of trauma you had. You had regressed both physically and mentally to a child. Looking down at the sad child, you looked up at her and extended your arms.
âUp?â You asked with childlike innocence. Weems felt her heart melt. Gently she placed her hands under your arms and lifted you onto her hip. Almost straight away you buried your face in her neck, and she let out a soft gasp.
You were face too warm. Gently she peeled your face from her neck so she could look you in the eyes while she bounced you on her hip. You let out a soft whine at the loss of contact and weems shushed you as she placed a gentle hand against your cheek then forehead.
âOh honey. Are you not feeling too good right now?â She asked. âDo you feel icky?â She said and you nodded and sniffled, the tears slowing.
âAlright. Well, we are going to get you some medicine then we are going to come back to my place for some sleep.â She said and you whined.
âNo sleep.â You pouted and Weems frowned. âCuddles?â You asked.
âOk sweet girl you can have cuddles but why no sleep?â She asked.
âMean dreams.â You pouted and she felt her heart break. Of course, you had bad dreams, that was almost assured with what you had been through. Why didnât she think of that. Patting you back she used a hand to guide you back to her neck as you put your thumb in your mouth.
Weems winced knowing it probably wasnât clean but there wasnât much she could do about it right now and she preferred it to the crying. Holding you on her hip with one arm and the other on the back of your head she saw a small white fluffy thing under your blanket walking over and pulling out the stuffie you brightened as she tucked it between you and her chest as you wrapped you free arm around it.
âAlright honey letâs go get some medicine for you.â She said and left. She knew the school week enough to make sure nobody would see the two of you, God the rumours would be endless if students saw weems with a child. Careful to avoid any class windows Weems made it to the infirmary. As a shapeshifter herself she knew that the doses of medicine would need to match the physical size of the body. Balancing you on her hip she looked into your eyes.
âHow old are you sweetheart?â She asked and you looked at her shyly holding up four fingers and puffing your chest out.
âIm four.â You grinned.
âWow. Big girl huh?â She asked and you smiled wider.
Weems pulled out the bottle of medicine labeled 3-6 and any other supplies she would need. Carefully making her way back to her office she slipped back into her own quarters to take care of you.
You whined as she set you down on the couch but stopped as she lifted you back into her lap. You sure were clingy like this. Measuring out a dose of medicine Weems coaxed you into drinking it which made you stick your tongue out in disgust after.
âYucky.â You said. Weems chuckled.
âIm sure it was sweet girl.â She said and stroked your hair. You buried your face in her chest and fisted your hands in her shirt.
âAlright bedtime. I think someone needs a nap huh?â She said and you whined.
âNooo.â You said.
âAlright how about some cuddles instead?â Weems asked and you smiled.
âCuddles?â
âYes. Cuddles.â
âYay cuddles.â You celebrated.
âAlright sweet thing lets go to my bedroom and we can cuddle.â She said knowing you would fall asleep in no time. Curling into her chest more and wrapping you small arms around Weems she felt her heart melt again as she ran her nails up and down your spine. You shivered and enjoyed the touch.
After a few minutes you seemed to be fighting sleep, eyes drooping before flying wide open again with a small whimper.
âHoney whats the matter? Why wonât you sleep love?â Weems asked softly.
âBad dreams.â You whimpered softly and weems patted your back running her hands through your short hair. It was much shorter than normal probably from the shift.
âHoney, you need to sleep, Iâll be here the whole time. I wonât leave your side, ok? Do you think you could be a brave girl and get some sleep for me?â She asked softly.
Burrowing your face into her neck you nodded and shuffled around to get comfy. Weems knew either way based off how exhausted you seemed you would be asleep soon regards of what you wanted.
And as predicted after about five more minutes weems felt your breath even out against her chest and heard small snores coming from you. She smiled softly down at you and decided then and there she would never let anything hurt you again.

what does your âsneaky linkâ think of you? đđ⢠{patreon preview} pac (18+)
this reading is for people who are 18+ ONLY. my ancestors and spirit guides who help give these messages to me are blunt af, and i have a feeling that they wonât mince words. and neither will i. the way that we speak (especially about sexual things) is pretty explicit, so if that could possibly make you uncomfortable, then please skip this reading :)
⢠pile one â˘
cards:
the grim reaper: the relationship is over, no second chances, grow and transform your life
paradise: happiness, expansion, joy, playfulness, oneness, enjoying each other
the high priestess
7 of coins
ace of swords
i donât even think that you guys are in contact with this âsneaky linkâ. it seems like the connection is completely dead and buried - and you seem to be the one who ended things. iâm going to need you guys in this pile to believe the following words - because itâs clearly true: when i looked at this high priestess card, i literally heard âmagical pussyâ đđ. and the phrase âgrow and transform your lifeâ jumped out at me afterwards on this grim reaper card. now, change the genitalia to fit yours, but the point is - you changed this personâs life. drastically in some way. with sex alone. you literally got the âparadiseâ card. thatâs what this person would attribute sex with you to - and since youâre showing up as this high priestess now (someone not available, unattainable, protecting your valuables), this person now feels stuck af. they were under the impression that you both got along really well. that you both were enjoying each otherâs time and company, however with the 7 of coins, i can see that you hit a wall with this person. you had to question whether or not this person was even worth continuing to invest into. and it seems like you decided that they were not - so you left (as you shouldâve). the ace of swords also suggests that this person feels like youâre an extremely clear communicator, both in and outside of the bedroom. and it seems like theyâre aware (now that youâre gone) that what they could give you wasnât enough. they actually put you up on a pedestal above them, but youâre still extremely desirable to them. iâm hearing that whatever passion they experienced being with you, it ainât going anywhere. this person is holding onto these memories and valuing them more than they have the memories with anyone else. this person could even feel like you took their happiness with them - as dramatic as that may sound (especially since this wasnât a committed relationship) but they were really invested in you - and still are. the 7 of coins is about hard work paying off. they could have the idea that they could try to get you back in some way (maybe if they increase their finances? are you a material girl/boy/enby? iâm hearing kanye west + jamie foxx - gold digger: âIf you fuckin' with this girl then you better be paidâ lmaoo), but it seems like theyâre keeping this in their dream state (like daydreaming about this) instead of actually making moves to make this a reality. the idea is there though. you guys really need to recognise the value of your sexual energy if you donât already. whatever you give people changes their whole entire life, their world, what they believe is âparadiseâ with another person. and whateverâs between your legs? magical đŞđ.

thanks for reading! đ
⢠pile two â˘
cards:
hammer: sabotage, rebuilding, interrogation, repetitive, persistent, working on it
not enough: frustrated in relationship, lack of confidence, self-sabotage, fear/ego issues, jealousy
the chariot
strength
the hanged man
you guys probably arenât gonna like what you hear in this reading, however, the messages are repetitive - and iâm seeing that you probably acknowledge for yourself that this is the truth too.
your âsneaky linkâ believes that you do entirely too much, considering the fact that youâre not in a relationship. they can tell that your insecurities control you and not the other way around. and although they can see that youâre working on these personal issues that you have, itâs still affecting this casual connection because of your control issues. this person may not be only interested in you - they could be the type to multi-date or sleep with multiple people (which they have every right to) and if so, then you obviously know about this. or at least you have an idea. but despite the fact that this person isnât âyoursâ, they feel like you have a weird sense of jealousy towards the other people who they sleep with/interact with, and some control issues/ego issues that they just really donât understand. the chariot suggests that this person feels as though you try to control them or the situation way too much. and they donât appreciate that. âiâm not yours. donât try to control meâ. thatâs what theyâd like to tell you. they see you as someone who is sabotaging what could be a good, fun thing. and with the hanged man here, they feel like you really need to reevaluate whether or not youâre even cut out for this casual sex/sneaky link shit. because i donât believe that they believe that you are. they feel like you let your ego get in the way. and that you need to release your ego issues. they really donât understand why you act like this. iâm either sensing confusion or manipulation. so this is either reiterating that theyâre confused about you and your behaviour - and the manipulation could be them picking up on you trying to steer the connection into something that was not agreed upon. doesnât matter if this is emotional manipulation, mental manipulation, sexual manipulation, etc. the hanged man is also sticking out to me as this personâs energy too. you may not hear from this person for a while, and if thatâs the case, itâs because theyâre wondering whether or not they should release you and release the stresses that come with (whatâs supposed to be) a fun, casual, sexual connection with you. i understand that this may not be easy to hear, pile two, but iâm definitely seeing that this person feels like you have control issues. and considering how i picked up on a level of self-awareness on your part (at the beginning), i feel like you know that this person doesnât deserve to have to deal with it. especially since iâm feeling so much frustration on their part. they feel like theyâre having to explain themselves to someone who isnât even a committed partner. thatâs not right. theyâd suggest that you take some time to yourself and do some soul searching. and tbh, as a reader (from what iâm seeing), i agree.
check out my patreon for the extended reading - done with oracle cards - (where we look at this personâs favourite aspects of sex with you), if youâd like âşď¸

as i was shuffling for your pile, i wanted to smile and laugh - so this person probably thinks that youâre funny af. i heard âyouâre a characterâ. despite all of this distant energy that iâm seeing, and how you walked away from them due to some type of emotional overwhelm or confusion, they still have very fond memories of you. iâm seeing for someone in particular, that you walked away from all of the people who you were sleeping with/dating to listen to your intuition when it told you to cut contact for the sake of sexual abstinence? you may have realised that you were using sex as a coping mechanism, or that sex wasnât serving you anymore, so you decided to end this sexual connection (and possibly multiple other connections too). theyâre really understanding of this. they understand why you left - no matter what the reason was - but this person could genuinely believe that you are their other half. i mean, the twin flames card came out. i donât know if this person speaks in those types of terms, but to put it simply, they feel like youâre perfect for each other. they may have not realised this until you left, but being exposed to other connections with people that are pretty surface level has made them realise that, although the connection between you was casual, there was something special there. at least for them đ¤ˇđžââď¸. iâm hearing them talk about how much you gave of yourself to them. how equal and reciprocal the respect was between the both of you. and they could be searching for that in other people - but they just canât find it. they genuinely reminisce about you and feel like youâre their other half that they canât have. iâm also seeing that this person feels like you taught them a lot about value - value of connections, and the value of themselves. this was a mutually beneficial connection that they learned a lot in. they feel like youâre complete opposites to each other that fit together perfectly. perhaps you felt this too. if you didnât leave for the sake of abstinence, you couldâve left because you caught feelings when you really didnât want to. again, they understand, but they recognise that the feelings are mutual. and they value you, the experiences that they had with you (as surface-level as it may have seemed to the external world), and the way that you showed them that both people can mutually experience just as much pleasure as the other in these situations. perhaps, before they met you, they were the type to not really enjoy sex all that much due to being in their heads too much? iâm not sure. but youâre valued by this person for sure. and they feel like you complement each other well. aw, this is so bittersweet đĽ˛.
