INTRODUCING TOXIC! RICH KID! PATRICK
+ BOT RELEASE
.ᐟ disclaimer : this post includes the mention of money, drugs, alcohol, and heavy suggestive topics. idk what to say he's toxic and manipulative, read it on your own judgement.
richkid! patrick is the prince of manhattan. He lives on Fifth Avenue in his parents' multi-million dollar townhouse with employees who literally do anything for him, richkid! patrick wears suits, shirts, expensive watches,he has a personal driver and trustfund that holds probably more money than a middle class person earns in their life, richkid! patrick has his personal driver, never has been closer than a couple of blocks to a public school, and simply trusts his parents' connections to get into an Ivy League school, richkid! patrick spends his summer in the hamptons and his winter in Aspen partying with his equally spoiled friends, richkid! patrick is narcisstic, egocentric and manipulative in every sense. Does he love you ? yeah, in his own twisted way. does he cheat on you with hookers ? hell yeah. he rather begs for forgiveness than ask for permission. (he wouldn't beg for forgiveness, though)
i hate to break it to you, but richkid! patrick definitely does some occasional cocaine. He's the type to have you on his lap when he does some lines with his friends at the private nightclub they have booked out, richkid! patrick loves the country club and golf, he has you placed on the golf cart looking all nice in the little outfits he bought you bragging to his bro's how nice you look all dolled up on display, richkid! patrick takes you on shopping trips and buys you everything he thinks would look good on you. No questions asked he actually likes seeing you happy with your tons of shopping bags, richkid! patrick definitely takes you in the back of the car while the driver takes you home from a date. He doesn't care that the driver can hear you two, richkid! patrick definitely needs occasional a slap in the face from you. You're the only one who has some kind of power over him, richkid! patrick definitely has a title kink, btw

Agatha and mentorship, Rio, and the funko reveal
More spoiler cutting. I have decided that a "funko pop spoilers" tag is necessary since the spoilers are for more than just the latest episode.
Spoiler cut!
Since now we know Teen is Billy for sure (which is what I suspected and most everyone suspected), I think I am very excited to see Agatha be his mentor. Agatha was a fun mentor to Wanda in the comics and I love Agatha on the show but she's not the old lady witch of the comics. Age is just a number and all that, but having her being the bad guy was a bit of a bummer.
I don't mind her doing bad stuff, but I wanted her to teach Wanda more than just those ruins that are only there to have Wanda use against her later.
And in the first Young Avengers book, Billy has to figure out how to do magic and shit on his own. He initially thinks he's Asgardian, but now TV Billy won't have to do that! And Agatha could help him find his Mom like in Children's Crusade.
I do think the Billy reveal will be sad for Agatha, because part of her hopes he is Nicholas. Since she thinks she's the star (presentation!) it's going to be rough for her to find out it's all about Wanda again.
But I am also worried about Teen and Rio. I did not guess that she was literally Death until the Funko Pop reveal. Billy has cheated death on some level. He was supposed to die in WandaVision and all the talk of a car accident before the events of episode 1* (see ETA4) makes me think that might have been some kind of inciting incident for Billy to go look for Agatha. Like a near death experience. (Also something happened when he was 13. Allie Ahn mentioned a bat mitzvah moment during the press tour and I got excited that Billy might actually be Jewish. But I hope I didn't mishear.)
Joe Locke did mention on the press tour that he had to shave a scar into his eyebrow, so that is there intentionally for some reason. Something cut him recently.
Anyway, I think Agatha will have to chose between Rio and Teen in some way. I know the shippers are shipping but I want to protect Billy at all costs.
ETA: Also, "do you remember why you hate me?" BECAUSE YOU ARE DEATH AND YOU TOOK MY BOY (possibly literally?).
ETA2: But I bet Rio relates to Agatha being hated by her mom and such. Agatha was just doing what she does. Death is just doing its job when people die. They are not necessarily evil.
Like Agatha even says to Jen that she left Jen alone because she respected Jen on some level. She took power from people she didn't "deserve it" per WandaVision. Others see her as a "witch killer" but I think she thinks they are better off without them.
Some bitches should die. (I bet Rio agrees.)
ETA3: Okay, so in the credits there is a newspaper mention of a near death three years previous, which would've been during WandaVision. This plays under Joe Locke's name. So there was an accident three years ago, and Agnes--during her true crime era--mentions another car accident in episode one. I got a little confused.

the most frustrating part abt the scene with alicent and rhaenyra (other than it being ridiculous) is the attempt at portraying alicent as a passive victim with zero agency (TO BE CLEAR she's a victim of both otto and viserys, that's not a question, she had no choice there. she did, however, have a choice in other moments and those are what i'm talking abt in this post). the writers essentially made her go "oh i thought he was talking about MY aegon. well, it's too late. i am a tragic figure who never wanted war. oh no" like ?? some of us have eyes and can see that alicent has been actively trying to gain power, undermine rhaenyra, and divide the family even before the time skip. she shows up to rhaenyra's wedding late and wearing green, she sows discord between their kids, spreads rumors of rhaenyra's children being bastards despite knowing it could get them killed (+ in the book the only ppl yapping abt them being bastards were alicent and criston cole bc the point of spreading rumors was to undermine and hurt both them and rhaenyra, if it was true or not was irrelevant), and she literally hits aegon and insists that rhaenyra will kill him to cement her claim to the throne even when there's been no indication that she would. alicent did not have to do any of those things, she actively chose to
and rhaenyra was willing to leave all that in the past by marrying helaena and jace thus ending the (then metaphorical) war between their sides of the family, but alicent refused bc she wanted power and for rhaenyra to not have any, so she made active choices to ensure that, and didn't care for the consequences. now her son is the king, she never prepared him for it so he's shit at it, she can't control him, she has no power, and the only person surprised is her (and otto). but again, these are choices SHE made or helped make. making an enemy of rhaenyra, and everything that came bc of that, was a choice. she would've helped put aegon on the throne whether viserys quoted the prophecy to her or not, be it usurpation (which it was) or not. that was a choice alicent made. stop portraying her as a passive victim of the dance when that role belongs to helaena

hyping myself up writing chapter 7 of glory be (codywan timetravel but sideways and back) by posting a snippet for you all :] have 500 words of cody being very autistic in his consideration of language <333 (i didnt even write him as autistic on purpose i just had a Realisation that he super super is. because i am projecting how i am autistic in my consideration of language)
“Hey, Cody,” Jon says. Cody, seated upright in his bed, turns towards her. Face white-and-gold and blank as ever, she holds one of the glowing things, a little slimmer than what he reads his holobooks on. The pain in his head is sharp and ugly, and it makes him feel sharp and ugly in places that there is no logical reason for such feelings to be.
“Yes,” he acknowledges. Jon bobs her head to the side, flesh appendages flicking in brief amusement. No—they have a name. He read somewhere that they have a name. It is a thin word, fitting like a block of real-wood under the hands of his mind, tucking in beneath his chin and sitting comfortably around his glands. He knows the shape of it, the feel, but the word itself—escapes him. This makes him feel the sharp-ugly feeling in different ways, ways that are not pain. The name of them fits the same shape as cherry blossoms do—he read a holonovel about a cherry blossom gardener, and had found the idea so interesting that he borrowed an encyclopaedia all about the genus as soon as he had finished the series—but it does not reside in quite the same place. Still it evades him.
(Stubbornly, the only thing that remains undeveloped is his command of speech. The alt-comm augment is difficult to use, and the amount of language it contains is overwhelming. Cody does not know where to start. And even though they are nearly healed and unburdened by bandages, his hands are clumsy and uncoordinated in a way that fills him with—an emotion. Anger, maybe. He is not certain. He is not certain. In his holobooks, hot, tense feelings are ascribed to anger. (He does not know yet if he likes ascribed. Master Vergu said it once, and it was a thin and papery word between his lips. He does not know. It is not as hideous as alright, but—it is still a disdainful word.) Cody does not feel hot and tense; instead, there is terrible pressure beneath his eyes and in the hollows beneath his cheekbones, curling down to swell resentfully in the soft pouches of the glands beneath his chin. He thinks it is anger. He does not know what else it could be.)
Jon is silent in the way he has learnt means that it is his turn to speak, which means he did not hear what she said. The terrible pressure mixes with the sharp-ugliness, intensifies, takes a bitter edge. Xahx. (He thinks this word is something like fuck in his holobooks, but he has only ever heard Jon say it, and only twice at that, sharp and harsh and not meant for him to hear. Fuck is—boring, a character in a holobook would say, and he finds it a dull-round, thin-flat and shallow word, like a machine-pressed circle of metal. Xahx, punchy like the sharp, thick needle in the back of his hand that drip-feeds him analgesics, is much better.) He shifts, flicks the glowing thing containing his holobooks on and off again, bright, dark, bright, dark, and looks at Jon in a way that he hopes will convey his ignorance. The silence continues. It feels—thick. Awkward, if he was a holobook character.
(reblogs appreciated!)

I've been toying with a dragonformers au in my head. Not set in a particular canon, bit of a fusion of whatever I want.
So the transformers are dragons, obviously. But I'm torn between having it be about dragon riders, so Dot with Megatron, Raoul with Tracks, etc. Or a conservation area for wild dragons, with the humans basically being park rangers. Or a combo, a retirement area for dragons used for combat.
I'm sorry, I'm just tossing ideas about.
Hmmmm. Now, I'm not quite familiar with dragonformers as I've probably only read one? Fic with it, and even then i didn't quite finish the fic.
Buuuut, here's what I'm thinking here: a mixture, like you've suggested above. Some of them have grown up with humans their entire lives (or most of their lives) and have handlers. Some have had little to no human contact throughout their life up until this point. Some fall somewhere in the middle of this spectrum. I feel like it's exactly a good idea to suggest some are former military, but not all of them. Why do I suggest that last line? Hear me out, but
Dragon rehab.
