I really like your Star In The Sky fic and think its very wonderfully written you write Starscream super well and I appreciate how you treat his character and make him more morally gray than what people would usually depict for his pre-war/losing Skyfire personality, overall just reading it makes me feel like you've got a good grasp on the characters you're working with

I like to think Starscream was never a wholly "good" person but had the potential to swing either toward good (at least his version of it) or evil depending on his influences. In every continuity its Megatron who influences Starscream the most, and here we have a Starscream whose never met him.

Chapter 4 should show a little bit more of how circumstances can turn Starscream's moral grey to a darker shade. And chapter 5 vice versa.

A bit ago I was looking through the g1 timeline wiki and I saw that Skyfire and Starscream now had a 5 million year old age gap and I was like oh? That makes their dynamic so much more interesting especially how innocent he was portrayed in fire in the sky, I also wanted to share my hc on why Skyfire never brought up Starscream again

City Speakers are always chosen from amongst a very rare selection of Cybertronians. Due to a desire to keep the Titans from becoming political tools, Speakers are required to be spark split twins or triplets. The long standing belief is that if the Speakers are spark split, they will be less likely to turn their Titans into political weapons or scheme against each other. It has worked well enough, and so the tradition has held.

Before they inherited their names and T-cogs, Starscream and his brothers were miners. Due to an influx of newbuilds coming out looking quite similar, no one suspected the triplets to be spark split. And so, no one was ever informed that there were new Speakers ready to be taken and trained. For centuries, the triplets were simple workers and close as could be. That only changed after a chance encounter with a high ranking cogged bot gave them away.

They were promptly taken by the Speakers of that era, separated, and trained to serve and speak on the behalf of their particular Titan. Starscream got the short end of the stick in being given to Vos. Due to his Titan being one of Cybertron's best kept secrets, Starscream had to be both the Winglord and the Speaker at the same time without revealing the latter position. Normally, these roles would align well. But Vos has been flying for millennia, and the ancient Titan is in constant pain due to the overpopulation of his frame. Titans cannot fully comprehend pain, and thus, more often than not, Speakers for Vos can constantly hear him screaming.

It is maddening, and the only reason Starscream hasn't gone mad is due to the time he spent in the mines hardening him mentally. With that said, his predecessor was not a kind teacher (being half mad himself). Starscream carries scars to this very day.

I'm not going to lie,looking back I'm surprised no one ever really mentions how many times Skywarp keeps getting backstabbed, it's happened so many times I'm wondering if it's one of the staples to his charecter at this point.

G1 : got betrayed by Starscream and thrown out of the ship and left to die,just so they could lighten the load

IDW : betrayed by both Starscream, Thundercracker and if I'm not wrong Galvatron as well.

Wfc trilogy : backstabbed by Jetfire (quite literally)and died,just before informing Starscream of the betrayal.

Earthspark: got betrayed by Starscream twice when he left her and Nova storm to save himself,and when he turned on every other decepticon

Transformers Prime(novels) : betrayed by Starscream who sent him out on a suicide mission with the intent of blowing him up just because he got jealous Megatron complimented another seeker Infront of him,and then got mauled,brainwashed by quintessons and killed by a sharkticon.

Cyberverse: kind of indirect but starscream betrayed every other seeker and she was the only survivor.

Skybound : self explanatory, I don't think I even need to explain how messed up his treatment was here.

Idw2 : ok this one probably does not qualify as I think he WAS the one who kept being a turncoat and switching allegiances at merry whim since for the most part he was pretty crazy in the manic sense, honestly I don't think he was even a decepticon here he didn't seem to know what the insignia meant,just some guy who kept jumping ship at every opportunity he could get just to enjoy causing chaos,but after being betrayed way too many times I can excuse him for this.

I have somewhat recently found myself overly obsessed with Transformers so decided to draw my favourite trio of idots

Been getting super into Transformers recently and decided to make up some concepts of my favorite three plane idiots for some stuff me and the bros have been working on. I'm an absolute sucker for the G1, Bayverse, and Prime designs, so this is just me trying to find the right way to stick them all together

Tiny formers seeker trine. You have to get all three because they will cry if separated

The seekers flying circles around you when you come back from work, before demanding food and cuddles

Thundercracker will literally wait by the door the entire day for you to come home. He hugs your leg when you leave and as soon as you open the door when you come home he's zooming up to your shoulder and hugging your face.

Skywarp will generally also come greet you when you come home, unless he's napping or has gotten stuck in something. He may need you to come rescue him.

Starscream is a little diva who will scream until you pick him up and then act like a perfect angel as he burrows under your chin for snuggles.

All three of them like to fly up to high places (on top of bookshelves, the fridge, inside wall mounted cabinets), so you may want to invest in some of those cat-platforms for them to climb on, that way you don't have to deal with sick tinies constantly sneezing and coughing because they've been scampering around on dusty shelves.
