you know that scene where merlin and arthur are sneaking around and leon catches them and merlin tells him he was teaching arthur poetry??? well after that i fully believe arthur got curious and read some poetry and found he really liked it and tried his hand at it and one day accidentally leaves it out and merlin sees it one morning and he reads it and it makes him smile but he never says anything because his magic is secret so he'll let arthur have this

gwaine always tries to serenade gwen and merlin when he is drunk

occasionally arthur and merlin will sneak out of the palace when arthur needs to get away and just go chill by a stream or whatever and talk or just sit in silence

merlin is a horrible gossip and knows everything about everyone in the palace

leon has a mental tally of all the times arthur and merlin are arthurandmerlin and he loses a year of his life everytime he has to add a new one

“Just now,” You say, palm flush with the wall to support yourself as you kick off your shoes, “Whatever you’re doing in there, it’s art.”

“Your favorite,” he says proudly, a bit of a tune in his tone.

A giddy, mischievous giggle leaves you.

“Comfy clothes on the bed,” He adds.

You give a soft little whine, because it’s just too sickeningly sweet how he dotes on you.

After changed and settled, he’ll serve you your plate, listening intently as you vent about all the little things that have been bothering you lately.

“And, I don’t know. I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I can’t-”

You sigh before continuing, “Sometimes I have this stupid voice in my brain, and it just tells me that you don’t actually like me, and I’m just not good enough for you. I know it’s not true, but it still gets to me, sometimes. Y’know?”

You look at him, faced pinched and a hand rubbing the back of your neck.

“I have the same stupid voice,” He says, those hooded blue eyes trained carefully in you, “But know little one, I love you more than anything.”

You pinch your nose at him, but you still have to fold your smile, cheeks warm and bunched.

“I love you more than anything, too,” You say sheepishly to your plate, tone soft as your fork absentmindedly plays with your food.

Once tummies are full and plates cleared away, König herds you to the couch, draping you with a cozy blanket. He fixes you a tea before joining you, happily letting you rest your head on his thigh. He’ll tolerate your silly little comfort movie without complaint, stroking your hair, playing with the soft locks. He doesn’t dare move after you ensnare him by falling asleep, snoring softly into his leg long after your half-drunk tea has gone cold. ♡

(SPOILER WARNING to people who haven't read your story) I SWEAR to GOD!!!! This is borderline anon-hate with my current state of mind after finishing The Raven and The Snake over this weekend. I finished it in two days. I'm a mess. I've even started making a playlist because I feel like I can't properly enter reality again. I'm supposed to be writing my bachelors thesis right now,,,, what have you done to me!!!!

I loved it so so so much, and I am very mad I cannot have a collectors edition hardback version of it on my shelf. There are many many moments that keep replaying in my head, and scenes that I saw so vividly when reading through it. The first imperio moment and Sebs shadow and imperio-green eyes as Clora was held captive, and the entire scene in the repository and how I was physically shaking as I slowly realised that Seb had made a fucking horcrux, and when it was CONFIRMED the GASP i GUSPED. It was so perfect, and so very Sebastian; because OF COURSE he made a horcrux (lowkey hot, sue me).

And the scene where Clive realised Seb straight up just died for his daughter without knowing he would be back, oh my dear lord.

And the idea of Seb being seen as a 'Ruffian' and that little mamas boi bitch of a Henry thinking his hand-me-down-riches, muggle ass would be preferable to a powerful wizard. I secretly wished they didn't have to keep magic a secret so Henry could have known just how inferior he was. AND SEB APPARATING SO FAR UMPH the skilllll.

I could go on and on and on, and maybe I will some other time in your inbox when I have another mental breakdown.

And now I'm also almost done with the small sequel. Just taking a break to bombard you with this unhinged message of mine. And how you draw Sebastian is so fucking good. It's actually what got me reading in the first place. I see your version as being in a completely separate universe from the game, cause the way you draw him just has that something, and it's not the same anywhere else. It certainly doesn't help my obsession that my own boyfriend has the same features and colour palette as him, now I think I might even use your art as inspo for next time we need wardrobe additions.

And tbh even a basic understanding of star wars is enough to get u thru most of it, what I love about the universe in general is that yes there are lots of rules but at the same time there's no rules at all?? You can do whatever you want as a fan and there's not rly anything ppl can do to stop you 😂

but for people who ARE seeing this for the first time, my star wars s/i is a Jedi Knight and my bff and I worked together to basically make an oc to be her Padawan! his name is Kepler Quinn and he's my perfect beautiful boy that I love 🥺

a lot of his character development comes from both coming into his own as a person through his training and through his relationships to others. He's been through a lot of rejection in his life already, so he kind of put up walls and has to learn to let people through them! Especially my s/i, who decides to dedicate herself to training him and making him see himself the way she sees him: as amazing! He's got a lot of really impressive skills, he's very in tune with the force when it comes to listening to it for insight, he's just not naturally a good fighter. That doesn't get you very far during a war 😅 but she thinks he's perfect! and she, and the other friends he makes are all part of his story.

20. If you could sum up your character with one sentence, what would it be? There's a line that's said by Blade to the Trailblazer during the end of Kafka's SQ, and it really sticks with me more than anything else in this game has (and I think ever will) when I think of her, and it's from this little exchange:

"Every Stellaron Hunter has a deal with Elio. I do not know the nature of those deals, but I do know that Kafka and I agreed to take orders from Elio. She must have sought something extraordinary. Everything she does comes at a great cost."

And perhaps this rests at the core of a lot of my salt towards fanon, because of what it touches on: this supposed lack of investment. If we want to talk about fear or the lack thereof, we need to look at where we find it, and then we see that we're quickly confronted with its connection to 'loss' in some capacity or another. And then following that, we usually (a bit of a simplified version here) find it in the form of hesitation because we could lose ourselves, or we feel it in the horrendous truth of losing another. In both of those cases, it adds importance to the decisions that we make to avoid those two scenarios from ever coming to pass. So then, keeping in mind everything that Kafka says to us in the SQ and even throughout our exchanges with her, does that then not become evident of... a great complexity? If 'everything comes at a great cost', how is 'great cost' defined to someone who might not, according to fanon, understand its importance because she doesn't possess the ability to attach value to... well, anything from any emotional (or other) standpoint? Granted, yes, I know that Blade is the one who says the line instead of Kafka herself, but before we rush to 'unreliable narrator'; keep in mind that outside of Elio, the one who's known Kafka the longest would be Blade, otherwise he'd be unable to even note that line to the Trailblazer to begin with. To witness a truth like that, means that he had to be there. Any way, I digress, welcome to the big complexities of Kafka that I truly despise that fanon simplifies. It drives me absolutely mad.
