“Why are you still here?”

A low, gruff groan woke you up from a deep slumber, eyes still heavy and red from last night’s commotion. Your eyes darted towards the windowsill where you can see that the sun was up, but not high enough to start the day. Soft layers of dark curtains cover most of the sunrays, the chilly, yet comfortable atmosphere almost lulling you back to sleep.

“What?” a tinge of sleep and exhaustion still vivid in your voice, hands caressing the arms that secures your form. Just what time is it that Chuuya decided to wake you?

“I’m asking you why’re you still here? I told you to leave, didn’t I?” You heard him say, his tender arms pulling your closer as your back face his chest. If you’re not as drowsy as you are right now, you would have found the situation hilarious. “Are you serious?” You started, not really trying to prolong what seemed to be an idiotic conversation that’s bound to happen “or just sleepy? Go get more sleep”.

You feel the red head buried his face deeper into your nape, his whole body enveloping yours with warmth you missed dearly. Just what are you thinking when you left him?

“I’m not sleepy. I haven’t even slept.”

“Then that’s more reason for you to re—”

“What if I wake up and you’re gone?” he cut you off, and fuck, your heart fell at his words. So that explains his deathly grip on you. Chuuya has been betrayed, abandoned, and used almost throughout his life but he had done nothing but to love and protect the hell out of you, and look what you did in return.

You squirm under his hug, trying to turn around—aching to put your arms around his waist. But shock grazed your body as his arms held you tighter for a moment, as if alarmed on your sudden movement.

“I’m just gonna turn around Chuuya” you reassured the man, and he softens a little. You maneuvered and place your face below his, in between the pillows and his neck, lips a few centimeters away from his skin, and your arms draped on his middle.

“I told you, didn’t I?” your voice sent vibrations in his spine as your breath tickles his neck. Butterflies raging in his stomach. Nights of him crying and tearing everything down forgotten because now your skin to skin again, now you’re here again, between his arms, against his body. “I will never leave you again, Chuu. I’ll be here when you wake up, and I’ll be here when you need to sleep again.”

You peppered his neck with soft kisses before ending with a peck on his lips— his eyes looking at you with longing and plea, as if begging for you to keep your words.

“I’ll stay,” But to him it doesn’t really matter, he knows that he would accept you again and again and again.

“I promise.” you whispered, inching closer to ease his heart with a passionate kiss.

You’re home again, and there’s no way in hell you’ll do anything to lose it again.

i LOVE drawing creatures and i LOVE drawing exaggerated expressions. my ways are: i read a lot of manga as an early-teenager skhdskndkd idk. i think the fact that there ARE so few lines is what helps me be able TO have those expressions; i don't stick hard and fast to accurate anatomy. i squash and stretch and bend shapes as i please, if need be. having loose sketches really helps with. expressiveness. in my experience

The holidays had been weird this year, the canapés and champagne not holding as much exhilaration as they had in years past. fabian x nina: ok i made this up two years ago and it got too complicated to actually write but lemme see if i can explain it - basically there's an in-universe indicator for a soulmate but the pairing is not permanent. like if you have matching tattoos, for example, your tattoo can match with your partner but when the relationship starts to fall apart, one or both tattoos will change to indicate that you're no longer the best people for each other, if that makes sense. so basically for a canon timeline, they'll be paired up and discover that like maybe mid-season 1 but at the start of season 3 nina's changes, and fabian's switches few months after.

(or, this depressing thought for your consideration: a red string au where fabian goes and cuts his after hers turns purple, effectively cutting her out of his life.)

patricia x eddie: groundhog day/palm springs au! once they each catch feelings, the day keeps repeating until they fall in love. i think they'd both go crazy in denial for a bit and it'll be fun skldfjl

Her name's Lunaliya, but she's usually just called "Luna" or "Liya" by the other students. She's an adult and absolutely horrified at the fact that she has to go through high school all over again. She and Grim are considered "one student", but her role is moreso of Grim's supervisor than an actual student since she herself can't use magic. (Think of her role as something like Ortho to Idia; he isn't technically a student, but he's still allowed on the premises and participate in events (and sometimes classes, whenever possible))

When she first arrived at NRC, at orientation, almost everybody (except for those with keen insight and/ or sense of smell (so like, Jack, Leona, the tweels, etc.) believed she was male since you have cute and pretty boys like Epel who often gets mistaken as a girl. After she gets accepted as a "student" alongside Grim, however, Crowley called a meeting to the housewardens and vice housewardens to explain that due to certain circumstances he could not disclose, she would be attending the school despite the school being exclusive to just boys. For a while, she attended the school with the standard uniform with pants, but after seeing how the other students took "creative liberties" with their uniforms, she insisted to Crowley that she be allowed to wear a skirt as she finds it more comfortable.

Her relationship with the students are mostly platonic or familial. She has a few queerplatonic relationships (like with Silver, Lilia, and the tweels), but she's especially close with the tweels (Jade, in particular). She jokingly calls herself NRC's "unpaid therapist". She says it a joke, but she really does feel like it sometimes. She isn't too bothered; she's happy to help the other students, but she has her own emotional baggage.

J Watches Arcane: Ep. 6, Random Thoughts/Play-By-Play

Aight, back into the fray we go. I'm under the impression that this episode either includes the Vi/Jinx reunion, or at least has the scene where Jinx lights the flare, so I might not be able to appreciate the animation through all of my tears.

Per usual, a quick disclaimer: These are just things I think about/notice while I watch (including "asdfhjkl I'm gay" and dumb jokes), and aren't intended to be taken as full on commentary. Taking notes like this helps me process parts of the show, and also makes it easier for me to deal with the sad parts by spreading it out (without requiring me to take a full-on break).

ahhh i don’t know! i’ve lived in a city for most of my life but went to university in a much quieter area so it’s really hard to decide! I prefer towns, I think (small city center, old buildings, hanging lights, but also nature and greenery and rivers and hills and trees 😍😍) 

3. If you could learn a new skill, what would it be?

Asdfhjkl there are so many things I want to learn !!! I can play the piano but I really wish I was better ✨✨. And languages! LANGUAGES. There are so many languages I want to learn it’s an entirely unfeasible dream but I just want to read everything and translations just aren’t the same as originals, you know? (including Elvish, obviously, because Quenya/Sindarin are just so beautiful and they actually just sound like what they mean, you can hear the feeling and I love that so much). I wish I could bake (I tried making pound cake with dried fruit and let’s just say I was disappointed 😂😂😂). And do origami. And art (I can’t draw to save my life, but I’d love to be able to. I keep seeing scenes from movies or just pretty landscapes or imagining things from books and I want to draw them and I can’t). On the flip side of the spectrum, I like read and learn new things about science, too. Biochemistry and plants and physiology and the like. Haven’t read that stuff in ages, and there is no need for me to read them now, but I enjoy it :)

Does 12 years old fall within the boundary of childhood? If it does, then Lord of the Rings 😆😆. Other than that, hmm, it’s hard to choose. Gaiman’s Ocean at the End of the Lane was the last ‘children’s’ book I read (it’s been 7 years; I still love it). In primary I had a huge mystery phase and loved The Boxcar Children and A Series of Unfortunate Events. And Narnia (though I didn’t finish the series) !! Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House series was also one of my favorites 🌲👧🏻

6. Do you prefer baths or showers?

I like both :) Baths are a treat though, I usually just shower

Not sure...I think I once took a quiz and got ‘faun’? I want to be an Elf in Middle Earth most though! Or a hobbit 🍏🍊

asdfhjkl I'm excited by your tags; if you ever come up with headcanons for modern!Kimvy then please share them if you want to :D (I have a whole giant modern/academia Kimvy AU that exists only in my mind, and the idea of someone else having a similar AU is really weird and exciting).

Okay I started to jot down a couple of ideas and then a whole bunch of random thoughts appeared so I hope they're okay! (It ranges from serious to kind of crack xD) And since you said Academia I couldn't get that idea out of my head because it works so well, especially for Kimblee! So that's what I rolled with!

- Kimblee is an assistant professor having obtained his PhD in Thermochemistry a few years prior

- Envy is a university drop out; smart but thus far has been unable to apply themselves in any particular field of study. They have started and quit 4 different degree subjects and Father is beginning to lose his patience with them. Because of this, they've instead taken a job on campus in an effort to avoid admitting to the most recent drop out

- This job is in the campus coffee shop

- Envy has always struggled with concentration, mainly as a result of undiagnosed ADHD, which often manifests as anxiety

-Their current coping mechanism is fiery anger. Often directed at students in the coffee shop. (look they never claimed it was a good coping mechanism)

-The manager of campus facilities threatens to fire them on a daily basis but Envy always manages to charm and terrify them in equal parts, so they're pretty secure in their role

-Envy's older siblings are all very successful in their respective fields which is maybe why Envy keeps going back to try new courses. They'd never admit how hard they try to live up to the achievements of their siblings

- Kimblee lives in a small apartment close to campus and walks in everyday, he doesn't drive

- Envy drives (badly, road rage gets the better of them often)

-Kimblee has a number of colleagues he needs to work with in order to perform his research, none of them are friends

- His students love but are all slightly terrified of him, because he gets this crazy weird glint in his eye whenever he talks about a particularly explosive reaction

- Once he ran a practical session and half the class was mysteriously ill that day

- Kimblee has no interest in his students despite how much they seem to admire him

- Kimblee is amused by Envy when they lose their temper at a customer one day who also happens to be one of Kimblee's student

- He frequents the cafe regularly, and Envy learns his favourite drink and makes fun of it every day (come on Crimson you're paying like 5 bucks for plain black coffee? At least try a syrup in there??)

- Crimson is his nickname because he once accidentally dyed his hands red for a week after a questionable experiment for 'research purposes'

- Kimblee sometimes shares his research with Envy and is impressed at first with how quickly Envy picks it up, and offers suggestions which are actually helpful

- Envy appreciates Kimblee for recognising and respecting their intelligence. (Kimblee knows formal education is just a game anyway). And so few people talk to them like that, like they might be worth something…

- Maybe casually chatting about coffee and thermochemistry might be an opening to something more?

There is so much more still to think about, but that is my current brain dump. I don’t know if I should use this message to put this out there but I’m gonna do it anyways - I’m really happy with how many people love it cause I’ve been honestly considering doing a sequel. I was actually considering it while writing the three parts of this. But I know most people want a spin-off with Taehyung and Yeontan but I was thinking more about a sequel where we can meet OC’s infamous cousins lol. Figure out why OC became the way she is, why she is so easily pressured, runs away a lot. Her cousins were only mentioned a few times but they’re INTENSE people and I have her family kind of built in my head.

Not sure if a sequel is something ppl would be interested in though.
