for the event (i’m doing the 750 one) i headcanon that jason isn’t a big jewelry guy. a ring can really fuck up your hand if the punch is thrown wrong and a necklace can be another choking hazard in a fight after all. BUT if you give him any jewelry, he’ll make a point of wearing it in his civilian life. that’s why he’s got a little jewelry bowl placed by the front door, so it’s the last thing he takes off before he leaves and the first thing he puts on when he comes home.

But, I completely agree, I don't think Jason really wears jewelry for the exact reasons you mentioned. Plus, he's constantly working with heavy machinery, and if a ring or a necklace gets caught in that, the least you're gonna lose is a limb. Earrings I feel like are a no-go for him, too. (Purley because mine always dig into my skin when I wear a helmet and I have to fix them)

If he does wear jewelry, at least in my head, he's gonna wear a ring on a necklace he keeps tucked in his shirt or a rubber ring that'll break off easily.

(So, it's not that I think he wouldn't like jewelry, I just think it's just too much of an inconvenience and a risk factor for him to remember to take it on and off)
