Post unfinished things, make your character builds crap, dont finish a book youve started it doesntmatter. Its about having fun. Its about forgetting your problems(at least for me) or its about spending time with your online friends. Taking a break is necessary. Spending time for yourself is necessary. Taking care of yourself is necessary. I hope i could get my message across. I cant even take my own advice seriously as im too scared to post this without anon but i hope i was able to make you feel better somehow. I also want to say i really love your works even if i dont know who the person you’re writing about is. Ive been following your works for a while and i dont regret it one bit. I would be pretty sad if you were to stop writing for certain people but if it makes you feel happy then i dont mind and im sure others wouldn’t mind it as well. (including not playing genshin). honestly, i'm feeling lonely. what and who i used to know and love seemed to only exist in the past. people moved on, topics became irrelevant, relationship broke. which i don't blame, but it still makes me cry once in a while.

my usual response to questions like this is "I don't know what scp is lol" but considering this is a pretty serious ask I'll make an exception.

I've been around SCP in some capacity or another since it started, so well over a decade now. I'm no longer involved in any way and I try to avoid the place; I've not been directly involved for years now, and I don't tend to comment on anything unless in circumstances like these. in my extensive time Witnessing SCP, I have seen constant repeating behaviour that is not good at all. moderators and admins frequently misuse their power, there's a lot of elitist bullying, the whole place has extreme cult vibes that I've written extensive posts on before -- and I can absolutely 100% confirm that there's a long history of sexual grooming and abuse in the community. most, if not all, of the site staff know about this and actively cover it up. I have spoken to many victims who all confirm that this has happened, and despite the fact that I don't see eye to eye with some of them, I find their accounts credible and in line with what I know about the community and the staff members involved.

generally speaking, it's safer if you stay in the satellite fandom -- so Tumblr, groups on Discord, reading stuff on AO3, etc. it's also fine if you just read the articles and stories on the wiki. what you shouldn't do is join the site, participate in the IRC channels or any official groups -- the subreddit, any official Discord groups, etc -- and don't associate with staff wherever you can help it. so long as you avoid getting heavily involved with the official wiki community, you'll only come across the usual fandom drama.

as for Gears, he's a good guy. I've never heard anything bad about him, and I've always admired him. IRL he's a married father of three, and he left the wiki relatively early thanks to family obligations. he always believed strongly in the wiki and did his best to keep it on track and a decent place to be, and I think had he hung around a little longer things wouldn't have got so bad. he has a lot of passion for writing, loves his family, and to my knowledge has never been involved with any of the usual site bullshit.

Hi lovelies! I’ve been getting so many requests & I’m working hard to get all of them in the queue. Thanks for sending them my way! I’m writing to let you know that the queue is now full until the end of June. I was able to get every requests from my May 8th post in there except for a few. Requests from May 8th for captions featuring Katy Perry, Jenna Fischer, Marisol Nichols, Addison Rae, Ariana Grande, Erin Kellyman, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Jhene Aiko, & Kirstin Maldonado will be posted in early July.

But there have been an absolute ton of requests since then too, yay! So I’m listing all the requests that I haven’t gotten to below. So it is not an issue with CGI “enhanced” celebrities but for Cats it is because I do not have a Furry fetish and I get uncomfortable thinking about writing caps for it. But I write caps with “manips” all the time (photoshopped images of celebs) so I’m not ruling out CGI enhanced celebs all together.

How about instead of removing the captions with Demi in them ,the images of Demi were just replaced with another celeb and if Demi is mentioned by name in the caption then that could be edited  to mention a different celeb. So about the Demi Lovato captions: I understand your feelings but I’m still going to delete the original captions. Because of how my captions are made I can’t just go back in & swap out an image or edit the text, I have to remake it from the ground up. I am hoping to do that with some (maybe all) of the Demi Lovato captions & re-publish them, but I’m still going to delete the originals.

In this post I shall reply to the messages that have been sitting in my inbox for a regrettably long period of time. (It is loooooong. Please click “keep reading” at your own risk.)

I’m not a very good correspondent. I’m very sorry. I never know what to say right off the bat, and then during 2019 and 2020 when I was mostly on hiatus, I would just post a chapter or two and poof back out, and on Tumblr I would browse a few things and then poof back out. I do not have a good track record with social media and online presence in general. And with real life problems (mostly due to work), at worst it was impossible to muster even the strength to write. It was maddening.

But there is something about Hellsing and its fandom that reels me back in even when I am far away. Excuse me if this sounds cheesy, but for me fandoms are like the orbit of a comet. If it is something that you loved, and will continue to love even when you are not “active” on it, you will come back to it, someday, somehow. I’ll always be grateful to Hellsing, for being an inspiration to write, for being a bridge to some of my dearest relationships, for some of the kindest messages I’ve ever received in my life.

you freed yourself for a job that was not good for you and related to toxic people (Integra-like – demanding the respect you deserve). That is badass brave – and that doesn’t become less by that fact that maybe the next job you got is not the end of the journey but still part of the way. And you are brave by sharing your work, sharing your stories revealing parts of your emotional world to the outside – that is totally bad as too. I think you can be very proud of you, really. So maybe right now, you might be in situation that does not yet make you happy in way you deserve it. But you know- there is big chance that this is part of your journey to this place – imagine, in some time from now, you may be a successful (brilliant you are already) author and in an interview you say something like “yes, back there in 2016/17 I went through some tough times, that influenced the work very much I got this price for today”. So just in case you maybe cannot see it right now yourself – please allow me to tell you – you are brave and wonderful. And re. the brave decision you mentioned – I know I am not in the position to tell you anything – but please do not do any harm to you. 2018 writer review

i was tagged by my dear friend @veridium-bye​ (thank you love!). i really didn’t start writing fic again until about october, so this is really a review of three months out of this year, but i’m still really proud of what i’ve done!

words written in 2018: 73,770

number of short fics/drabbles written in 2018: 39 (thirty-one of these were OC-tober ficlets, four were art trade/gift fics, and the remaining four were miscellaneous stories for my OCs)

number of fic chapters written in 2018: 11 (three for All of My Walls and eight for A World Alone)

number of chaptered fics completed in 2018: just one! All of My Walls, a three-chapter fic of aurelia hawke and fenris spanning the time between the “a bitter pill” quest through the end of the in-game DA2 events. it was really important to me for two reasons: one, aurelia and fenris are a rivalmance pair, but a lot of rivalmance fics i see are basically...just hate sex? and for fenris, and for aurelia, there are so many more layers and personal history that lends itself to their romance and creates these waves of tension and sadness and anger and heartbreak, but never hatred. i tackle the rivalmance in a bit of an easier (and generally humorous) light in their shorter fics, but All of My Walls is much more serious and i’m so proud of both of them for growing into themselves and each other and slowly allowing themselves love and be loved over the course of that fic. the OTHER reason that fic was so important to be is that it’s the first long(er) fic i wrote in a long, long time, and i consider it my way back into writing. i don’t think it reads as seamlessly as fics i’ve written since then do, but i’m still proud of myself for creating it, and i’m thankfully that it brought me back into the writing world.

fandoms: only dragon age this year! i haven’t touched my skyrim fic since 2017, and i toyed around with the idea of a kotor fic in the spring, but it never amounted to anything.

pairings: mainly ellinor trevelyan x cullen, emilia cousland x alistair, and aurelia hawke x fenris; HOWEVER, i’m eternally grateful to @fourletterepithet (velthei lavellan x cullen), @haloneshiral (letheia lavellan x cullen), @frecklef0x (anon trevelyan x dorian), and @gingerbreton (ysabelle dryden x alistair) for granting me the honor of writing about their OCs and letting me explore the dynamics of other pairings/relationships! writing for others is a really great experience to grow and strengthen your own writing, so i’m really glad i got to do those stories.

proudest achievements: i’m honestly just...proud i wrote anything at all? it’s so intimidating to come into a fandom that’s years and years old and put your content out there for people to see, especially when you haven’t written leisurely in a couple years and you’re really self-conscious of your work, like i am. but i took the leap, and people have been so responsive and supportive, and i’m eternally grateful for the very kind mutuals/readers i have that continue to inspire me to keep going and creating. some more minor achievements include

starting art trades. before doing this, i truly, genuinely did not believe that the brilliantly talented artists i see on tumblr every day would ever value their incredible work as equal to a short fic written by me. to me, it seemed like trading down. it turns out, i was wrong, and i’ve so far traded three one shots for three beautiful pieces of artwork, and as i mentioned earlier, it’s so refreshing and also so beneficial (in terms of writing skill and practice) to write for OCs that are not my own, so i’m so glad to have done these!

forcing myself to write action scenes. if you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably seen me complain multiple times about how much i hate writing action (i even made a meme about it that somehow went viral within the writeblr community lol joke’s on them it was made as a result of me rage quitting a dragon battle scene). the only thing i hate more than writing action is writing mage action, because none of my OCs are mages and all of my friends’ OCs are mages and i cannot understand the dynamics of mage combat no matter how hard i try. but, you can’t get better at something unless you practice it, so i wrote plenty of action in an attempt to get better. and i think (hope?) i did.

starting A World Alone!! my pride and joy!! my first longfic!! my favorite OC!! it’s a slow burn it’s an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers there’s tension there’s sadness there’s powerful female friendships there will be love eventually and i could go on about it for forever but instead i’ll just shamelessly plug it here because i love it so much and it makes me so happy.

writing goals for 2019

i would really love to join DWC but so far it looks intimidating to me because i’m worried i won’t be able to sit down for a night and keep up. but i’ll probably do it. i have so many good prompt posts saved in my drafts that i want to do.

more art trades! i have three already planned for the new year, and i’m very excited about them!

maybe finish A World Alone? i’m writing it at a good pace so far, so it’s a realistic goal.

more one shots. i love my longfic (obviously, as i blabbed about it relentlessly above), but i think shorter fics are such great opportunities to really focus in on a singular emotion and delve deep into little moments that are so brief in terms of plot but so big in terms of characterization. there are a few in particular i’m really proud of from this year (x, x, x, x, x, x), but i’m looking forward to more.

Thank you everyone who has supported me so far on this blog! Since July, I have written over 240 fictions/series/drabbles/scenarios for you all and I honestly cannot believe I have written so much since then - it’s the most active I’ve been as a writer in my life! I appreciate you all coming along on the journey with me.

As some accounts are doing, I myself as a bullet journaller enjoy wrapping up on my year and looking back on the things I feel are working and things I need to improve on. Since PWYL is a huge part of my life now, I wanted to make sure I looked into how to be more productive in 2019 for you all and myself too! 

THINGS THAT WILL CONTINUE:

Monday-Friday posts twice a day unless time doesn’t permit it.

From your survey answers, I will continue posting series once or twice a week when I have any to share. 

The majority of fictions will remain reader insert, with exception on a rare basis.

I am multi-fandom and have been from the start, so you can expect PWYL to continue with a variety of groups/idols.

Drabble game requests will continue to be accepted and fulfilled alongside normal requests/my original ideas. 

The Different Kisses series will continue, but I will be taking a short break from them after all requests are done. Please don’t fret, it’s a series I love too and it will be continuing in 2019! 

Domestic! scenario requests will also continue to be accepted.

Anon asks to my inbox is a feature I turned back on a month or so ago, and whilst I did turn it off, I realise it can be sometimes hard to reach out with your own username attached, and so you can rest assured that I will keep anon on!

THINGS THAT WILL BE CHANGED/IMPROVED UPON:

Reblogging schedule of old and new content will be revised and hopefully not as overwhelming as it has been. I will also attempt to not reply in reblogs to your reblogs of my work unless I need the space to do so, just so it doesn’t clog up other people’s feeds who have notifications on - I will use the comment system. This was brought to my attention recently, and I’m sorry if I’ve been annoying, thank you for letting me know!!

Whilst I will continue to write for groups I find second nature to write for, I will be branching out to focus on different idols/groups as I can. 

There will be more series’ to enjoy and a focus on sharing more of my ideas with you all.

Requests will only be open for short periods of time around the same time of each month and I will only accept a certain amount to ensure I don’t make people wait too long! Requests will be opening again late February at present. This is subject to change.

I will not be accepting very descriptive requests unless I feel I can still make the idea my own. Please don’t be offended if I decline fiction requests that are too specific! 

Boyfriend! scenario requests will be limited to idols who haven’t been written for Different Kisses as I feel they overlap with the same content. If I have publicly accepted your request from back in August, this will be fulfilled. 

In the weekends, I am thinking of a way to interact with you all more, maybe having a set time for short drabble requests and/or discussions of kpop/anything really. Whilst I’m open for the latter anytime, I’d thought maybe a designated time-slot for it might make for a bit more of a community feel? Please leave your thoughts about this below! 

Unlike how I reacted to some negative messages I received in 2018, any hate messages will be ignored. Life is too short to get invested in negativity! However, constructive messages are appreciated whenever they are due.

That honestly depends on a lot of factors - which tools I’m using, how many characters there are in the drawing/if it’s full body or not, how used to drawing the character I am, how big is the canvas, if I already have a clear idea of what I mean to draw or not, how precise I want to be with lines and stuff. 

That Yuuto sketch I posted yesterday took me about 40 minutes I think, and over half of it was spent trying to figure out how I was supposed to draw him since it was the first time I drew him - the tools I used are the ones I use when I want to be fast and don’t care about being sloppy. A small random Kirishima bust properly lined and colored could take me five minutes to sketch and line and as many to color on a good day, cause I’ve drawn him so many times by now I don’t even have to think to draw him. Deku, on the other hand, can take me an hour even just to sketch, I can’t seem to grasp how I’m supposed to draw him at all.

Sorry, it really depends on a lot of things, I can’t give a proper answer to this :(

I JUST got back on here after a few days of internet restriction for work purposes (re: Tumblr makes me forget time and I had a big deadline) and mother of hell I’m just 

first off: holy shit, that’s such a massive compliment, so thank you so much! I love you guys too. ♡♡♡ (and also sorry for getting you to make a blog on this mess of a website :’D )

since Tumblr is allowing “written erotica”, I should be in the clear no matter what and will be keeping things here for as long as I can, but. backup plans.

I don’t have anything currently… but since Tumblr messed up (really, though, who’s actually shocked here) and are doing a major overhaul, I’m going to start working on a backup plan. despite not writing anything remotely NSFW (except maybe language-wise), I don’t trust this site not to obliterate me if given the chance.

in the very least I will always have AO3 (though they don’t have a way to message people do they? hm… I’ll have to think of something). I’ll make a CuriousCat/AskFM and link that in the bio there, if I end up needing to. I would post WIPs and things there, too, but I’m pretty sure it’s not meant to be used that way.

as a backup plan in case Tumblr goes FF.net on my ass (good times), I’m thinking about utilizing another blogging website (such as Wordpress, because I already have been using them for personal blogging for years now and they’re relatively stable) and dropping my WIP bits and things I don’t want cluttering up my AO3 there. just as a safety net since god knows I don’t save things I drabble out half of the time.

I’ve also heard about a site called pillowfort.io? I don’t know anything at all about it, though. I do have a Tapas.io, but they don’t have a way to ask things, anon or not, so I’d rather not use it.

and, finally: not bad! I’ve got a good 4k words in the works scene-wise to build up and patter out bits when I can. current struggle is trying to decide where this one scene goes, because if I don’t figure it out, I might just have to make another chapter…

Hi anon! Thanks so much! And so sorry I’ve taken forever to answer this I’ve been pretty busy these last couple months (also why I haven’t posted anything new in a while but hopefully that’ll change soon bc I’ve got lots of pics piling up and waiting to be shared lol)

But anyway….to answer your question! ☺ the tags I would use are ones of blogs who like to post/reblog aesthetic-y (of any kind) or anything similar kinds of posts and that also track a tag they made whether it be just their url like #cloudypal or a personal tag like #look their real name (like for ex. kelly or amber or something so it would look like #lookamber) or it can be the url again but there’s a hey or a look or something like that in front of it like #heycloudypal. Usually they’ll have it in their bio like i track the tag ___ so look at their blogs to see what they use.

So when you post things using this person’s tag, a lot of times they will look through it what new things people have posted with that tag for them to see. and the person who tracks that tag decides from there if they’d like to reblog it to their blog! And if that happens and since usually these blogs have quite a number of followers, lots of people may get to see your posts and like/reblog them too! so the number of notes can grow from there. And it helps too if multiple blogs with many followers reblog your posts because it increases the number of people who like and reblog it and so on.

And I would put as many blog tags as you can under your photos. I think the max number is 30? I’m not entirely sure on that but that’s just what I’ve always done. And I’m not sure if it matters or will increase the number of people who could see your posts but again that’s just what I’ve always done and i feel like it can’t hurt 😄 and also, putting a person’s blog tag on your posts isn’t always a guarantee they’ll reblog it (or reblog it right away or within days or weeks or months or whatever of you posting it) bc they just sometimes might not see it or maybe have not looked in their tag in a while or they maybe changed their tag especially if they’ve changed their url name so just something to keep in mind for some tags. But usually tho there’s at least a few blogs if not more who see them and reblog them as well. But this is just from my experience posting and tagging.

Oh and before i put the blog tags i put 5 tags that are related to what the pictures are of so maybe more than just aesthetic blogs can see them (again idk if this does anything but it’s just what i do 😄) so like for example if i posted a picture of a sunset and a second one of some flowers I’d put #photography (I do that one in every post) #flowers #sky and/or #sunset and any others i feel like putting at the time like sometimes i do the month & year or season and year they were taken in like #winter 2017 or #march 2017 or if you wanted to you could do the whole date like 3-22-17 or just the day of the week like Wednesday or something or if the flowers are pink or purple i might tag the color like #pink so ya lots of different things you could do for those first 5, if that’s something you’d want to do at all. Again this is what I do so it’s just a suggestion and you definitely don’t have to bc everyone does things how they like so it’s totally up to you. But most definitely remember the blog tags. And also make sure every so often like maybe once a month or every couple months you check to see if the blogs you’re tagging may have changed their url along with their tag. Sometimes tho even when they change their url they may keep the tag name they were using before. And switch up some new blogs to tag every so often too (if you want to tho bc you definitely don’t have to but for me i use the same blog tags for a number of months or so and then after a while see sometimes what people have posted recently who tag those blogs and if they tag some blogs i havent yet then I’ll try those too. certain ones tho i might not change for a while or at all especially if they tend to be the ones who have reblogged my posts a lot if not every time i post)

And to get an idea of which blogs to tag you can either look at the ones ive used under my photos or look at a few ive used and then scroll through the recent things people have posted in them and look at the tags they use on their photos and use those as well. You can also look at some of the blogs i follow bc those are some of the ones with tags they track and reblog photos from

Now as far as the number of notes I get on my stuff well that still remains a mystery to me lol bc I still don’t understand how all those people I guess like my stuff as well as like it enough to share it but nevertheless I’m extremely grateful that they have and some of them that have gotten hundreds or even thousands of notes I definitely never expected especially my pressed flowers one lol like it was always a dream to one day get a post with 10k notes (especially one being of a photo or photos of mine) or over and when that finally happened i was ecstatic but i never even thought about or considered getting the number of notes it has now which is beyond awesome and even more so when some of my favorite blogs shared them as well which has also helped it to gain the number of notes it has so that’s pretty rad ☺

so ya just post as many photos and as often as you can and tag tag tag because the more you share and the more people share your stuff, the more you will get noticed and get notes on your posts and followers and build your blog!

But more than anything be patient especially if you ever find your posts or some of your posts not getting as many notes as you thought or something and don’t get discouraged and think maybe no one likes your posts or anything because that’s most definitely not the case, you just need time for people to find your stuff because you could have 35 or 57 notes one day and then a few days or weeks or however long later suddenly a new person finds your post, reblogs it, and then a few more join in and on and on and before you know it you're at 369 notes or 2,853.

I mean when I started out I never thought I’d get the amounts of notes i do now and ive been posting on this blog for almost two yrs now and looking where I’m at today from then has definitely changed a lot so it all takes time
