Last night thing
Jason todd x reader
Summary: he stopped you from stealing a $25,000 watch but missed something else. Part 2 to Late night Thing.
Warning: kidnap, fighting, smut
As Jason pulled up his pants and contemplated his life choices of sleeping with a beautiful thief on a rooftop, he came to a conclusion. You stole his damn tie clip. He had said that he would break your hand if you tried to steal it and dammit, you had. Somehow it simultaneously made him mad and horny. How the fuck had you managed that?
Jason knew that he wouldn’t find you that night. So he went back to his safe house to lick his wounded pride and plan his next move. He needed to get that clip back. It was a gift from Alfred and he would literally kill for it. Though he seriously doubted that he’d need to do that. And Jason would never admit it but he didn’t want to kill you.
He planned to find you sometime during the next week. His tie clip was expensive but not extraordinarily expensive but you had to find someway to sell it without him finding it, which would take time. Jason just didn’t know that it would be the next day that he would find you.
He heard that Bane was throwing his weight around in the drug trade for some damn reason. Wasn’t his venom addition enough for one man? So Jason was snooping around, or investigating as the bats liked to say. He fully expected a boring night of listening in a warehouse for hours and learning very little but instead almost fell through the glass at the sight before him.
You were strapped to a chair with rope. The pretty dress you wore the night before was in tatters but you were covered. Your eyes were red and your nose had dried blood underneath it. You were shivering like a leaf.
“I’m not here to negotiate with you. I’m here for Cat Woman. You are her child and she will come or you will die,” Bane said casually. You gasped.
“She’s going to be mad. Why would she work with you after this?” You asked, braver than you felt. He turned and coldly looked at you before stalking over. His giant fingers wrapped around your throat and you thrashed in the chair.
Jason stood up and moved to jump into the fight despite the fact that he really didn’t want to fight the brute. But Bane let you go and you audibly gasped and sucked air through open lips. You trembled and heaved.
“If she does not care about you, I will move on to her next kitten,” he said and you gulped. You didn’t know if she would save you. Jason looked through the room for a strategy. 2 exits and the skylight he currently looked through. 3 goons that he could easily take out. Oh, and a 300 pound juiced up super soldier. That broke Batman’s back years ago. Fuck.
“Let me go and I’ll do anything you want,” you said and even Jason up high in the rafters could hear the waver in your voice. Bane turned and stared at you and your mind almost couldn’t comprehend the massive size of him. He was easily half a foot taller than Red Hood and almost 100 pounds heavily and Red Hood towered over you.
“What could I possible want from you,” he asked with an icy curiosity. He was watching you for a reaction. You wanted to shrink away but that would be a failure.
“Anything you could want. Information,” you suggested. “About Gotham.”
“I have my sources.”
“Uhhh,” you breathed. “Gems? Money?” He shook his head. Your heart hammered in your chest. He was a man, right? You could sell that maybe? “Me?” You breathed.
He laughed before looking you up and down. “I do not want you carnally, child,” he said. You almost sagged in relief and Jason’s hand released the gun he didn’t know he was holding. “No. We will wait for Cat Woman and if she doesn’t come in 2 days, you are dead.”
You hummed in fear. Bane sat crossed legged and closed his eyes. He threatened to kill you and then fucking meditated. You helplessly pulled at the ropes on your wrists.
Jason tried to piece together how you got there and how to get you out. He knew that he couldn’t exactly call Bruce. ‘Hey dad, do you want to fight the guy who broke your back over a thief he has tied up. Why? I don’t know! I just like fucking her on rooftops!’ Never saying that.
Nope. Instead he would attempt stealth. Against one of the best trained fighters in the world for a woman that robbed him. Yea, maybe Jason should have stayed 6 feet under because he’s a fucking idiot. He sighed before slowly moving towards them. Bane was sitting cross legged with his eyes closed in a meditation back to you.
You suddenly saw Jason out the corner of your eyes and your eyes widened before going back to normal. Bane didn’t seem to notice the slight change in your breathing. Jason snuck over to untie you. He slowly pulled the rope from around your wrists and you were almost completely untied when the end of the rope barely grazed the ground.
Bane snapped his head around as Jason drew his guns. You gasped as Bane launched himself towards Jason. You ripped your hand out of the rope as bullets flew. You scrambled to the floor but was quickly pulled up by the giant man. He clutched you by the shoulder and you whimpered in pain. Jason suddenly froze.
“This is far more interesting that I first thought. I looked for a cat and found a bat,” he laughed. You squirmed in pain. He sat you down but the hand stayed on your shoulder.
“She’s not important. Let her go,” Jason said. The metallic voice from his helmet sounded bored.
“If she is unimportant, she is better off dead,” he said roughly pulling you in his arms and one hand gently wrapped around your throat but didn’t tighten it. You grabbed at his fingers and sobbed pathetically. Your eyes were wide and terror was plain on your face.
“Let’s not. Put the lady down and we can talk,” Jason said and it was weird to see Red Hood negotiating. He was usually the muscle in the situation. It really showed you how fucked you really were.
“Okay I’m intrigued. I will hear your proposal,” he said sitting you down. You scampered behind Jason. Your whole body trembled.
“I know Gotham underground better than you ever will. Sorry but you’re scary as shit but not in a good way,” he said with a shrug. If you didn’t know any better, he seemed casual. “I can get you the venom you need. No cost for a while.”
“How long,” Bane asked. He was the kind so get all the facts before proceeding. He also had the weakness of being completely addicted to venom.
“A months worth.”
“6 months.”
“3 months.”
“Deal. If you break this deal I will crush her windpipe with my hand,” he said with no emotion. It was a promise, not a threat. Jason felt you move closer to him.
“Deal,” Jason agreed. Bane moved closer and you clung to Jason. You were clinging to Red Hood. How pathetic. Jason stood taller and stared at Bane. They shook hands.
Suddenly Bane slapped Jason violently across the face and you yelped. Jason went to the ground but quickly got up to a defensive crouch. You jumped in front of him with your heart beating so fast you would soon faint.
“For invading my space and my business,” Bane said before walking away. “Leave.” He didn’t turn to watch.
You noticed a little crack in the Red Hood helmet. How hard did Bane hit him? Jason stood up and pulled you out of the warehouse with him. He quickly grabbed you and shot his grappling hook out of the area. About half a mile away, he landed on a building. You clung to him and trembled.
“Hey, you’re safe,” he said. “You can let go.”
You pulled off but shivered like a leaf.
“Shit, you’re cold. Here. Here,” he wrapped his jacket around you and it helped your temperature but not your shivering. “Come here,” he pulled you in his arms and you clung. His heartbeat felt reassuring and he awkwardly patted your hair. You could tell Jason wasn’t used to providing comfort.
“He- he,” you started but stopped. “Can we go somewhere safe?”
“Come on downstairs. This is my place,” he said and you nodded. You followed him inside and it was far warmer but you couldn’t stop the shaking. His jacket was replaced by a blanket and Jason sat you on the couch. The helmet came off but domino stayed on. You practically climbed on his lap to be closer. Your eyes were still wide with horror.
You’d been arrested, harassed, even shot at. But never kidnapped like that. And by the giant Bane at that. Jason could feel the fear and adrenaline coming off of you. He rubbed your back softly. You looked up at him suddenly after a few minutes.
“You saved my life. You put yours in danger to save mine,” you breathed. He shrugged, a little uncomfortable under your gaze. “Thank you,” you added.
“Uh you’re welcome. It’s no biggie.”
“Yes it is,” you said before kissing him. Your pace was dizzying and rough. Jason was in shock at first. Your hands roamed his body before dropped down to his belt and he almost jolted up.
“Not today,” he said, stopping your hand. “I mean, normally I’d love to but not now. Give it a few days.”
“Why?” You said with your voice all breathy. Your lips were swollen and eyes dark and he almost gave in.
“You were just kidnapped. You need sleep. Not sex,” he said sliding away from you. “Are you hungry?”
“Wh- you don’t think I could want you?”
“I’m not in the mood. Almost getting killed by Bane really kills the urge,” he lied. If he thought you were in your right mind, he would have fucked you on the rooftop or against the first surface he found. You jumped in front of Bane for him. He found it all incredibly hot. “You need a shower anyways.”
It was cold and cruel but better than sleeping with a traumatized woman. You shook and nodded before using his shower. Jason felt twinges of guilt but ignored them. He knew it was better this way.
You came in nothing but his t shirt that hung like a dress. “Nothing else fit,” you said awkwardly. He could see the scars that covered your legs and bruises around your throat.
“We can lay in bed,” Jason said just as awkwardly. He might know what to do with a woman who wants to fuck him but not just one sleeping over. “For sleeping.”
“Don’t worry. I won’t try anything,” you said with a little smile and he smiled back. You both laid in the bed and it wasn’t long until you pressed your back against his chest and pulled his arms around you. He was strong and safe. You managed to sleep all night with the anticipated nightmares. They had time later to come up. When you weren’t cradled in his arms.
The next morning you woke up warm. The rise and fall of his chest was comforting. His hand held your waist loosely and you could seriously just stay in this moment. But as soon as you moved, you almost giggled like a teenager. He was hard and pressed against your ass.
“Ignore that,” he mumbled.
“Okay... how?” You said after a few seconds. “Because it’s pretty unforgettable for the man I like to sleep with to have his hard dick pressed against my ass. Have to say.”
“We only did it once in a rooftop. Was it that unforgettable?” He said and you could hear the smirk he wore.
“It was alright,” you said playfully but you couldn’t help but press back into him. Jason grabbed your hip to stop you.
“Trying to get me horny?”
“I think you already are.”
“That’s true,” he said before grinding against your ass. You pushed back to do your own rubbing. “And you’re not even wearing any panties,” he said bunching up the fabric of his shirt you wore. He slapped your ass soundly and you gasped.
“What was that for?”
“My tie clip. I hope you still have it,” he said before slapping your ass again. You reached behind you to grasp his cock through his sweatpants.
“I’ll get it back to you,” you said. His pants were pushed down. Jason hummed and rubbed his dick between your thighs. You sighed at the sensation and arched your back so he was sliding between your folds instead.
“You’d better,” he growled but it had no true heat. Not when he was so close to finally fucking you and had his lips leaving little marks on your shoulder and neck. You tried to press back onto him but he stopped your hips.
“Do you deserve it,” he asked running a finger along your hip, every once in a while dipping between your thighs to barely touch your clit. You jumped and grabbed at his wrist to hold him there but he just chuckled and moved away from where you needed him. His thrusting between your folds felt amazing but not enough and he was purposefully avoiding sliding in your hole. Jason quite liked the way your body panted and curved in desperation.
Finally feeling that you had been tortured enough, and he wanted in your wet heat, he pressed his hips forward and filled you. You whimpered and leaned your head back against him.
“Yes,” you breathed. Jason took his time slowly thrusting, letting you fill his full length. His free hand moved from pinching your nipple to circling your clit. You were practically clenching him from the start and he loved it. You were so receptive.
It didn’t take long for him to find a pattern that just got you a little more vocal and focused on that. “God, you’re fucking wet,” he breathed in your ear and you whimpered. You seemed to like what he had to say.
“Taking me so well. Acting like such a good girl,” he said and you breathed out a “Hood” in response. Oh yeah, you didn’t even know the name of the man that you let fuck you. You trusted him enough to sleep in his bed and you’d never even seen his eyes.
His finger circling your clit and cock angled to drag along your g spot had you seeing stars as you came around him. Jason grunted and held your hips tight before quickly pulling out to cum on your ass. He looked as the pretty white beads covered your skin. He wasn’t forgetting that image any time soon. He reached for a towel to clean you up.
Afterwards you turned in his arms and kissed him soundly before lying your head on his chest. You reached up to play with his hair with a little smile on your face. Jason could get used to this. As soon as he thought it, he had the urge to jump up and kick you out. He didn’t do permanent. You were just having fun.
“I need a shower,” he said roughly, getting up. Jason couldn’t help but notice the disappointment on your face that you quickly hid.
“I should get going before my walk of shame gets any later,” you said with an awkward laugh.
“Borough anything you need,” he said before disappearing into his bathroom. While in the shower he had time to think. Yeah, I’m totally not broken to be cool with fucking a woman but not being able to hold her. Not a sign of being fucked up at all, Jason thought. Probably got that from Bruce. Though my real dad probably did it too.
He came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and immediately saw a note on the bed.
Had fun, Hood. We should do it again sometimes, (your number)
💕 Kitten
His tie clip was set underneath it. Jason smiled. Okay, this could be fun. He was young and sowing wild oats or whatever, right?
There was no way this could go wrong, right?

Ship: Wilford/JJ
Day: One out of Twenty one
I’m pretty sure me and @basicallywhite-babe talked about this au. Again I have about a thousand posts so it would be very hard to find every ask i got this off of.
(edit four days later i found it https://theprinceofflies.tumblr.com/post/655080369188667392/0oh-how-about-corpse-bride-nightmare-before)
~`~`~`~`~
JJ gasped as the skeleton rose from the fountain. The creatures around him cheered as the skeleton brushed himself off. A pink suit adorned his body and he grinned at the monsters. The skeleton and laughed and looked around. “Well thank you all for making this Halloween extra special. Dark will now read off the awards,” he said.
“You're the scariest Wilford!” a monster called.
Wilford laughed. “Thanks.”
The king of pumpkins and madness grinned at the monsters. He turned to the hanging tree where JJ was hiding. JJ gasped and quickly ducked behind the tree. Wilford frowned and turned away. “Let's read the awards!”
JJ peeked out from the tree to see the Mayor stepping up on a pedestal. The mayor was a short wan with a head that turned back and forth depending on his mood. “For most scares in a-”
JJ was suddenly whipped around to face an angry doctor. “Vhat are you doing out here?” Henrik hissed. “You know you’re not allowed to be out yet!”
Henrik sighed and pulled JJ away with him. He stopped when he stumbled forward. JJ pointed to his missing arm in Henrik’s hand and frowned. Leafs fell out of his arm socket and Henrik groaned. “This is why you can’t go out.”
JJ sniffed and followed Henrik out of the crowd. “Anti vas so vorried about you!”
JJ rolled his eyes. ‘I doubt he was flirting with the mayor at the ceremony.’
Henrik sighed. “Well come back home. And don’t drug me ever again!”
~`~`~
JJ giggled silently as Henrik snored. A bowl of cold soup sat next to him. JJ smiled giddily as he left the house. He breathed a sigh of relief and headed down the road. He spun in the streets and smiled at the creatures that he passed.
JJ reached the gates of the graveyard and opened it with a loud creak. The mute mused to himself that if he could hum he would. Curse Henrik for forgetting to give him vocal cords. He walked through the gravestones and stopped at the herb patch. Being stuck inside did allow him to cook. And he needed more nightshade. Anti had stolen most of his stash for who knows what. He started to collect the flowers. He smiled softly as he picked the flowers. JJ froze when he felt a hand on his shoulder. “Hello!”
JJ jumped and turned, falling to the ground and covering his face for protection. “Oh, I didn’t mean to scare you.”
JJ looked up and gasped. ‘You're the pumpkin king.’
Wilford snorted. “Yes, I am. And you,” his grin widened, “you are new! I love new things! We haven't gotten a new monster in so long.” He sighed and grabbed JJ’s face, turning it so he could look at the stitches. He pulled the doll-like monster up off the ground and grinned.
JJ was well, he looked human enough in shape. He was made up of a light blue material that served as his skin. Stitches littered his body. His eyes were glassy, one was a lighter shade of blue than the other. He was told they were taken from an old doll. He wore a bowler hat that had been a gift from Henrik. Under it, he had black hair that was normally a mess. “You're beautiful.”
JJ blushed and shook his head. “You must be the project Henrik and Anti were working on. They wouldn’t let me see you.” Wilford whispered, tracing the stitches that made it look like JJ was always smiling.
JJ grabbed his arm and pushed him away. The skeleton tilted his head and took a step back. “Sorry.”
JJ hugged himself. ‘I’m a failure.’
“What,” Wilford asked, “no you’re not!”
‘I fall apart easily, I'm clumsy and I don’t have a voice box.’
Wilford tilted his skull. “Fall apart?”
JJ nodded. ‘I’m sorry for bothering you, I'll be on my way.’
“You were not bothering me at all.”
‘I’m sure the pumpkin king has better things to do than talk with a failed science experiment,’ JJ signed with a silent laugh.
“I am doing something very important. I’m talking with a beautiful man whom I found in the graveyard.”
JJ blushed as Wilford pulled him closer. “So what are you doing here?”
‘I needed herbs.’
Wilford hummed. “You cook?”
JJ nodded. ‘Yes, I get rather bored cooped up in the lab.’
Wilford nodded and sighed. “Boredom is awful. I’ll tell ya that. I’m bored of this whole holiday. It’s the same blasted thing every year.”
JJ nodded. ‘This is my first Halloween. It’s quite lovely.’
“I’m glad someone likes it.”
‘Well if you don't, why don’t you try something new?’ JJ asked.
Wilford gasped. “Your right!” He pulled JJ in for a hug. “Your totally right,” He whispered, turning away from JJ, still holding his arm. “This is-'' he paused when he felt something tap his wrist. He stared at the now severed arm in his hand that was waving at him. “Oops,” he whispered.
JJ giggled silently and took the arm from the skeleton. He pulled a needle and thread from his pocket and got to work stitching his arm back on. “You have leaves inside of you?”
JJ sighed. ‘It was apparently the only thing they had. I also have stuffing from a teddy bear.’
Wilford nodded and watched him. “I can do that too!” He said and popped his head off. “See!”
JJ finished sewing his arm on and clapped. “Dark always says I should put some use to this. He’s always a grumpy gus though.” Wilford muttered tossing his head back and forth. “Something about scaring more people. I, fuck,” he cried when he dropped his head.
JJ gasped and leapt forward, catching it before it hit the ground. “Oh hello,” Wilford whispered, staring into JJs eyes.
JJ smiled and stood up, placing him back onto his body. Wilford gripped JJ’s arms and sighed. “Thank you.”
JJ nodded and looked away. ‘I should go. Henrik will be waking up soon.’
“Of course,” Wilford whispered. “Feel free to come back any time.”
‘I wasn't aware you owned the graveyard.’
Wilford blushed. “I mean I am the king of the land.”
JJ raised an eyebrow. ‘The pumpkin patch?’
“Fine fine. But please visit.” Wilford said and grabbed JJ’s hands.
‘I’ll try.’ JJ signed as he pulled away from the skeleton.
“Goodbye, doll.”
‘Goodbye.’ JJ signed as he walked off.
Wilford sighed dreamily and let himself fall backwards. “Oh, he’s amazing.”
Something barked and he laughed. “Hey Chica,” he whispered as the ghost dog floated over him. She had a pink pumpkin as a nose and she nudged Wilfrods shoulder.
Chica barked again and tilted her head. “I just met the nicest creature. Do you know what he told me? He told me to change things up!”
Wilford sat up. “But how? Dang it.”
He stood up and walked towards the pumpkin patch. “A walk will help. Oh, I wish Jay would come with me. He’s full of amazing ideas.”
He clicked his tongue and Chica floated over to him. “We’ll play fetch on the way there!”
Chica barked and did a flip in the air. Wilford laughed. “Knew you would like that.”
~`~`~
“You snuck out!” Anti hissed.
“Twice in fact,” Henrik added.
Anti glitched widely and approached JJ. His tail swung behind him and he leaned down to stare at JJ. “And where did you go?”
‘Just the graveyard. For herbs.’
Henrik frowned and tapped his arm. “You vere gone awfully long.”
JJ nodded. ‘I lost track of time,’ he signed as Anti circled him like a shark would its prey.
Henrik raised an eyebrow and Anti pounced on the doll-like creature. JJ gasped as he fell backwards. Anti pulled a note from his pocket and hissed. “Meet me on Friday at Mary Reedfields grave, three o’clock!”
JJ blinked and blushed. “You met someone?” Henrik cried.
“Who is it? Not the mayor right?” Anti hissed, his green eyes turning black.
JJ shook his head. ‘He’s not the mayor. I’m not going to steal your boyfriend.’
“You aren't meeting vith any verevolves right?” Henrik asked.
JJ sighed. ‘No werewolves Henrik. I’m not stealing your boyfriend either.’
Henrik blushed. “He’s not my boyfriend.”
Anti giggled. “Oh so sharing health tips and making out isn’t dating?”
“Anti!”
‘Well, Anti I wouldn't say anything. Considering you have the mayor wrapped around your finger.’
Anti hissed. “You’ll do good not to tease me! I am the dark web!”
‘Yes yes and you are on top of me, please get off,’ JJ signed and waved Anti off.
Anti laughed and hopped off of him. “I won’t hurt ya but Henrik on the other hand.”
“JJ you’re grounded. And you vill not be meeting zhis mystery person!”
JJ stood up quickly and gasped. ‘What! Please Hen!’
“Nien, to your room vith you.”
JJ sighed and stormed off. Of course, his creators had to ruin everything. Maybe if they paid more attention to him than their new experiment he wouldn't be such a brat. JJ opened the door to his room and slipped inside. He’d make it, somehow.
~`~`~
Wilford paced back and forth, muttering to himself. “It’s got to be in here somewhere! What does it mean?”
Chica yipped and Wilford brushed her away. “Not now girl.”
Chica yipped again and floated over to the calendar. “What is it? I know I haven't left the tower in a while but,” he trailed off. “I missed my meeting with JJ.”
Chica yipped again and Wilford shook his head. “He’ll be fine. I have different things to worry about.”
Chica growled and floated back to her bed. Wilford grabbed a string of Christmas lights and spun them around his electric chair. “What is the meaning of Christmas? A simple question that I can’t figure out the answer t-” he stared at the window.
There was a basket hanging from a rope. Wilford opened the window and took the basket. He looked for a creature but saw no one. He took the basket with a soft smile. “Looks like I've got an admirer, Chica Bica.”
~`~`~
JJ held his chest and smiled. Anti wasn’t ever going to let him out again after this stunt. He blushed softly and walked away from Wilford’s tower. He reached the wall and stepped out of the gate. He sighed as he sat down, leaning against the wall.
Gosh, he was a mess. He picked up a thorny flower and smiled as he picked the green petals off. He gasped as the petals went up in flames and the thorns grew. A star appeared on the top as it burned. The flames danced, reflected in JJ’s glass eyes before it turned to ash in his hand.
JJ stood up and stumbled away. He had to tell Henrik.

Turtle’s Naked Challenge

This took a while to do considering my daughter after hearing her auntie bae claim I was fucking lazy decided to dump a drink over my flashdrives so I couldn’t use them anymore resulting in losing all my files, stories, and all my asks but as requested here’s some steamy wet turtle nudity
Her boyfriend had gotten to her place after a long strenuous patrol looking so tired and rundown just knowing being the leader could be hard
Being the older brother to three whack job goofy brothers could also do a number on a turtle’s mentality and had her heart going out to him instantly one these nights making her somewhat baby her alpha much to the displeasure on his face
He didn’t like the coddling but knowing how grumpy he could be had the woman wanting to make it better because Leonardo deserved to be pampered like a king when he allowed her to do so
After all he made her feel like a queen every day she could do the same for her leader
Upon offering him her shower to relax and wash the day away but also giving him tons of kisses that pulled a loving smile from her special guy and promising of more once he was done had him swayed easily
Plus he seemed more willing as her hand trailed up his plastron hearing her whispering of maybe some more enticing fun once he was finished he had immediately hopped in to clean up while she got comfortable and started reading her new book he had gotten her a few weeks back
The woman figured he might be a while and he deserved the longest shower he could stand so why not read a few chapters until he was done already having their movie ready to be started and dinner in the stove already prepared knowing he loved home cooked meals
Only the best for her turtle
She was so absorbed in the pages happily following the hero’s tale the water turning off didn’t even register to her nor did the bathroom door squeaking or abnormal soft steps approaching her couch where she was lounged out comfortably
What did was the sopping wet towel that landed on her making her squeak and jump a foot in the air
“Finally reading it – it’s a really good story”
She pulled the cloth off her before freezing seeing her leader standing there proud in front of her in all his glorious perfection steam roving lazily off his leaf green flesh as those blue sapphires set her on fire feeling the room getting warm as she looked him over shifting in her seat as something else started to feel ‘hot’
She was panting and all he was doing was looking at her
The throbbing appendage between his thick thighs had her trying desperately not to look down and she failed miserably as he strolled forward a sly grin on his face his lower lip caught between his teeth before he tilted her head up smelling what he was doing to her and the soft fabric of the blue nightie had him seconds from losing his dominate stance
“Just wondering does that offer still stand or are you just going to sit there drooling all over the book” she apparently didn’t answer him fast enough because the look in his eyes shifted as he got over her growling under his breath “Bedroom now and on your knees before I break the couch again~”
Her body responded this time as he moved back so fluidly walking towards the hallway before letting her pass him a small moan leaving her as the pressure of his fingers on the back of her neck had her bending to his will “Whatever you want Sensei”
He had to be having a bad day cause when he got to her place he was growling, cussing, and mumbling nasty obscenities through his bared teeth
No doubt somebody had pissed him off and being how late it was that list of names was fairly a mile long but not limited to several of the normal characters but after a bit of persuading and lots of affection to her teddy bear she had finally convinced him to go take a hot shower to calm himself
She hated seeing him so upset
She lit the sweet fresh picked strawberry candles on the counter just for him knowing the smell of her newest set always made him feel calm remembering with clarity the first night she got them he had shown up in a rage over something she truly didn’t understand but the second he took a deep breath he had just relaxed curling up with his head on her chest passing out almost immediately purring like a kitten
Every night after if she knew he was coming over she was burning those candles finding he became very affectionate and needy
He tried to coax his love into the bedroom mumbling he just wanted cuddles but she handed him her biggest towel and sent him on his way swearing they could snuggle after he was done for as long as her turtle needed
Not wanting to bother the hothead she had sat down on the sofa to wait knowing once he was done she could drag the turtle into some loving cuddles until he wanted to talk about what happened so maybe when he headed home he was in a much better mood
While he was showering she just knew he would be a while and it was her favorite night so the woman turned on her TV fast to catch up on her crime show and became oblivious to everything in her surroundings
She was focused on her favorite character shirtless grinning like a love sick school girl hardly hearing the bathroom door open so when a towel landed over her head she was a bit shocked quickly pulling it off “Raphie this is the best part what are you-!?”
The woman looked up from her couch to see the massive turtle standing there with a serious look completely stripped of his normal attire leaving her in a dazed stupor upon seeing what was in front of her as he stepped in the way of her TV
Licking his lips Raphael stood holding a smaller towel drying off his neck as water dripped down his naked built body and damn he had her full attention before a smug smile was aimed at her when she couldn’t look away taking in his perfectly sculpted physique realizing now she had never comprehended how big he was
“Ya still wanna watch the show or – ya up ta help me blow off some pent up steam?” he winked still exuding cockiness walking towards her room giving her a great view of his ass making her turn off the TV so fast not caring if she missed her new episodes before jumping over the back of her couch already unbuttoning her blouse
“No sir… Nope not at all” she ran after him hearing that thunderous chuckle as she shut her bedroom door jumping the massive turtle quickly once he was on her bed kissing him hard as the woman was pulled against him knowing she wasn’t going to let Raph leave tonight “I’m all yours baby”
He was late and not answering his phone… of course he was and after she had worked so hard making him his favorite Italian dish and had even gone all out to make a beautiful tiramisu from scratch which was far from easy like the recipe online had claimed but it was all for her loving genius wanting his rare day off to be perfect but after this long she knew he’s be at her window the moment he realized it
As forgetful as Donatello was she knew he wouldn’t stand her up
Almost on cue two hours later the genius was tapping on the frame with that cute bashful smile on his face as he climbed in the window dropping his gear in the chair she had purposely moved there to keep him from just dropping everything on her floor
“Sorry dove the truck was in need of a tune up and then I got distracted by the leaking radiator hoses – it was a big mess but I’m here – and dinner smells amazing”
Her adorkable nerd trying to explain the whole ordeal as if the woman couldn’t tell what had kept her boyfriend was always adorable he wore the evidence of oil and grease all over his skin and pants stained
The woman jumping back as he started moving in to kiss her made him pause hoping she wasn’t mad at him before she stopped the genius with one finger pointing to the problem before heading to her room
He was still looking himself over like he didn’t see the problem when she reappeared handing him a large towel and the clothes he had left last time he had stayed at her place a serious look plastered on her face but the ghost of a smile on her lips told him she wasn’t upset “You are not sitting on the couch or any furniture until every speck of that is off you”
He gave her the cutest pout starting to argue that he was starving and she knew how long it would take for him to actually get off every bit of grease which – actually made her reconsider her words wondering if he had eaten today but moved closer bringing him down by his dirty mask giving him a loving kiss
She promised as soon as he was cleaned up she would have his plate ready before going to the kitchen getting the degreaser scrub she bought after the last time the genius came over covered in oil after fixing the garbage truck seeing him roll his eyes before chuckling as he finally gave stealing one last kiss as he headed down the hallway
It was going to be a little bit with his having to scrub his arms and hands so she turned on her computer starting to check over a few things her boss needed by next week already having it mostly done thanks to having a brilliant boyfriend who explained it in full detail in less then a minute where as her dumbass boss had pulled her into a three hour long meeting to explain it but left her even more confused
But of course the computer was running slower then normal calling down the hall she would need his tech support help to fix it later whining as it tried to shut down on her after working great minutes before
She had just hit save when a soaked towel landed in her lap making her jump nearly spilling her drink on the laptop before snapping around to get onto the turtle but paused her face draining of any anger that had been there to be replaced by a dark blush
A smaller towel draped over his shoulders as he dried his neck and face had her suddenly aware of just how handsome he was without the mask he always wore but him standing there with nothing on but a crooked half smile on his lips and his glasses hanging low on his snout giving her a clear view of the molten honey brown orbs taking her in
“Did I hear somebody needs tech support? I hate to tell you this princess but the price of services goes up on my day off~”
She couldn’t even come up with a single thing to say with him looking down at her, that heated bedroom gaze melting her in her chair as his mates wide eyes drifted slowly over his body left completely breathless by just how sensual he looked
They had been together for a while and Donnie was normally a little shy even around her but right then he was just as confident as any of his brothers “But maybe I could be swayed to give you a discount for the right payment”
His smile widened noticing she was unable to tear her gaze away from his body always loving how she could boost his self confidence so easily
“I’m willing to do a full payment with interest if you’ll fix it by tomorrow morning Sir”
Her eyes finally met his again feeling the heat building in her, she was already well aware of what he was silently commanding closing her computer the second he shifted his weight back, dinner long forgotten before she was hurrying after him catching his hand
She was in his arms seconds later his lips crushing hers just as the door shut never realizing they were on the bed until the thin fabric of her top ripped and he was ravishing her breast
His glasses coming off was her only warning the lovable shy genius was no longer there
She had already pushed all of the furniture out of the way hoping his patrol wouldn’t last too much longer knowing Leo would try to not make him too late but it gave her time to get everything set up along with the three pizzas and his favorite snacks
Having just finished up with everything a smile spread on her lips when he clambered through the main bay window from her balcony already dressed out in his old sweatpants covered in paint stains with all his supplies knowing he had just ran the whole way after getting home his arms immediately placing them on the plastic on the floor before he was behind her wrapping his girl in a tight hug giving all the kisses he could to her
“What do you think?”
Michelangelo had came over to do an art date and being as the wonderful girlfriend she was she had gotten some of the biggest canvases she could find at the craft store for them wanting to do something special for both of them giggling as he kissed down her neck seeing her surprise for him “I love it babycakes! This is perfect!” his excitement only made her smile wider
They were going to do a portrait for one another so she had planned out her painting to the youngest turtle since she had seen his excitement in having a special night at her place like she tried to do often for him
Being Mikey couldn’t go out in public and she knew how much it bothered him that he couldn’t take her somewhere on dates even though she didn’t really want to be in public the woman always tried to come up with fun dates where the only thing that really mattered was being together and making sure he knew his baby didn’t need to be seen out with somebody or go anywhere fancy to love him
All she needed was the loving and attentive turtle who made her feel special every single day
After placing their easels back to back both of them were so ready to get started grabbing one box of pizza to sit between them as he prepared his stuff being overly affectionate with her kissing and holding her just wanting to watch what she was going to do but she shooed him to his side
This had to be a surprise
Two hours later she finished with the layout starting to add color, of course she couldn’t see what he was doing but her normally hyper noisy boyfriend was surprisingly quiet hearing him working hard on whatever he was painting for her made her work even harder wanting it to be perfect for him
Lost in the painting the woman couldn’t stop from smiling the more and more it looked like his shell the deep mahogany blending in with the hints of chestnut and small streaks of orange she had admired since the day she met him giving it a few finishing touches
He called out he was done just as she finished the last major detail making her carefully pick up her painting placing it over on a homemade drying rack when he came over placing his canvas beside hers for the big reveal
Mikey was instantly pressed against her back holding her from behind hearing a surprised gasp at seeing the pattern of his carapace plates up close “Baby! Holy crap it’s – does my shell really look like that?” she giggled as he tried to look over his shoulder before she took in what he had done
On his there was lots of color blended in together making it very bright, happy, and a bit psychedelic the way the splatters brought out the finer details, her name was in a graffiti like cursive style with tiny spots of glitter making it shimmer like a diamond before seeing in the center the imprint of his chest plate was painted there in his own cute signature loving how he had painted in the heart with green and orange so she would never forget him
“It’s beautiful-” she turned to kiss him noticing his sweats on the floor looking back before she exploded in laughter shocked to see the turtle standing there with a wide grin his brow line wiggling before her eyes slipped lower finding him there in nothing
“Oh my god Mikey!” her boyfriend stood there looking so proud of himself, his entire upper half centered more towards his plastron was covered in multiple colors of paint that went all the way down past his waistline which told her he had painted himself and pressed against the canvas he was splattered in every color imaginable across his muscular arms and cute happy face “Did you get any paint on the canvas”
He seemed so offended looking himself up and down before striking a pose in full Mikey fashion giving her a flirtatious wink “Oh baby you see this body it is the canvas” she giggled waving him off before screaming out as he tackled her to the floor kissing her as he smeared some paint on her face
“N-NO MIKEY! STOP!” she was laughing way too much to be taken serious squirming as he pulled at her clothes mumbling she should try painting nude too throwing them off to the side
Biting her lip she tried to stop from moaning her cheeks burned hotly while trailing the streaks of colorful paint that made his body stand out a bit more biting her lip trying to look up blushing and finding it a bit difficult to resist him with the thick shaft already erect and throbbing against her exposed belly as he picked up a brush as he opened her to him pressing close so she could feel him “Now baby girl – I know something I’m about to paint white~”
With him this was what she lived for her arms surrounding him as she kissed her way to his neck not really caring if she got messy when his hands accidently landed in her paints starting to like where this was going as he smeared it over her curves when she fell limp finally submitting as she pointed to a stack of canvases off to the side
“Let’s do something that will only be for your eyes Daddy~”

Day 2: “You should probably go home.”/“But I’m already home.”
masterlist
Kingdom Collisions AU (prequel scene): you do not have to read or be caught up on my Kingdom Collisions fic to know what’s happening here
Princess Piper Mclean wakes up to the midday sun and sighs contentedly, stretching her languid limbs until they shake. It is one of those rare days when her princessely duties are non-existent and her mother wouldn’t bug her because she’s not there. She hears the soft chirp of birds outside and peers out the window to see scarlet-breasted sparrows hopping along the branches and singing merry tunes. She loves summer. Everything is always so cheerful and full of life. It reminds her of childhood. A gentle knock sounds at the door and she recognises it as her handmaid/tutor/nanny. Her friend.
“Come in Anisa.”
“Princess,” She smiles, bowing her head with one hand over her chest.
“Hello,” Piper sits up in bed, “I like your hijab.” It is the most beautiful shade of blue, like sapphires in glittering water.
“Thank you.” Her lady smiles, “I have brought you something to eat.”
“Are we classifying this as breakfast or lunch?” The princess teases, knowing her need for order and compartmentalisation.
“Brunch. A truly glorious invention.” Anisa huffs, scrunching her nose at the crack.
“Well thank you all the same. Are you going to join me?” She takes off the silver cover of the tray to reveal berry and cream waffles and a steaming cappuccino with the prettiest leaf design. “Chef Ambrosia is really getting creative with their designs.”
“I’m pretty sure they just have the biggest crush on you and the only reason they haven’t put a heart is because it would be wholly inappropriate.”
The princess just laughs and digs into her meal with vigour. They talk about non-essential things like her dress for the upcoming ball and their various plans for the weekend. Anisa was finally going home to see her children and anyone could see the excitement radiating off her. Now that she didn't have to be a nanny all the time she could actually look after her own children. Finally the waffle is demolished and the cappuccino nothing but froth.
Anisa looks at her carefully.
Piper raises a brow, “What?”
“I have some news.”
Immediately her heart is beating a thousand miles a minute and there is disaster after disaster crossing her mind. “What?” She says again, this time breathless with worry.
“A certain Prince wants to visit.”
She immediately lets out a gush of air, her whole body dropping in relief. And then she registers what her friend had said and her brown eyes go as wide as saucers. The last time she had seen that prince, because undoubtedly it could only be that prince, she had nearly ruined their lifelong friendship by almost kissing him. Now she doesn’t trust herself around him, which means she’s been avoiding him.
“I think you should say yes.” Anisa gives her a pointed look, “He’s worried something is wrong because you can’t woman up and face your feelings. You’re hurting him by avoiding him.”
The Princess groans, scrubbing a hand across her face. “I know, I know. But I just can’t face him without wanting to either make the world swallow me up or jumping his annoying pretty bones.”
“You should invite him to the ball.”
Piper closes her eyes, the sun suddenly too bright, too hot against her sensitive skin. If she invites Perseus she’ll get to see him and reassure him and actually get to spend time with her friend, which she misses, greatly. Her own fault. If she doesn’t invite him she can put off dealing with her ever-growing, constantly-harder-to-ignore feelings and have an embarrassment, possibly rejection free night. The coward’s way out. She is many things, but a coward has never been one of them.
“Okay,” She nods, letting the decision settle in her core, “Let’s invite him. He can stay the night. Hell the week if he wants.”
Her friend claps her hand and gathers the empty dishes and cutlery. “Ill be here to collect the letter this evening to send out for the night post. Don’t be late.” She waggles a finger, ever the mother. “And use the blue wax seal. It’s his favourite.”
“It is?” Sometimes she feels like a terrible friend.
Anisa just winks and makes a graceful exit, her hijab catching in the once again warm rays, and glittering sweetly.
A week later her castle is abuzz with activity: caterers and decorators and various other event planners all running around like hounds are at their feet. There is little more than an hour to the ball and Piper is finally getting around to putting on her dress and swiping a little lipstick on. She fell in love with her garment the moment she laid eyes on it and now that she sees it in her gilded mirror she feels as if every stitch was made with her in mind. A deep maroon fell across her in waves of silk, starting with the string-thin straps over her shoulders, into the straight neckline, and down, down, down to the skirt that flared at her waist and trailed against the pristine marble floors. She buckles gold shoes at her ankles and slips on two small diamond encrusted earrings. With a final glance at her reflection she steps out of her room and into the transformed hallways. There are flowers hanging from the ceilings and stars underneath her feet and she feels as if the world has turned on its axis. Adequate considering it is Summer Solstice which marks the changing. She nods hello to the guests and servants rushing through the passage and then she is outside the ballroom doors.
With a deep breath she smiles at the doorman who returns it before pushing the door open.
“Presenting Princess Piper Mclean of Hanaan.” A loud clear voice says from somewhere to her left.
She curtsies low to the room and then glides down the stairs to greet her mother. All the while her eyes are scanning the room, trying to catch a particular head of black curls, and skin only slightly darker than her own. When her scan comes up empty she hides the disappointment behind a practiced smile and engages in conversation with some duke and duchess. She really isn’t paying attention to anything so it catches her by surprise when a warm hand brushes her waist and the familiar scent of ocean, and wind, and life surround her.
“Sorry Duke,” A charming smile disintegrates her worries. “May I steal the princess away for a dance?”
“Please,” The duke is jovial, waving them away. The duchess smiles that smile that says aw cute young love.
Piper wants to see them through her eyes. But before she can think on it she is being whisked away and planted on the dance floor, suddenly staring up at hypnotic green eyes and that troublemaker’s smirk.
“Sorry for my tardiness Princess. Wanted to make a grand entrance.” Crown Prince Perseus Jackson grins.
She narrows her eyes at him as they sway across the floor, “You overslept your nap again didn’t you?”
He rolls his eyes, stealing a pinch on her side that tickles more than hurts. “Actually I got caught up in the music room.”
Her eyes light up like crackling fire, “Will you play for me?”
“Anything you want,” He whispers and pulls them closer, so her dress is flush against his suit, also made of the smoothest satin.
“How have you been?”
He gives her a look that she chooses to ignore. “You would know if you weren’t avoiding me.”
“I’m not avoiding you,” He dips her, and she thanks the heavens they put her hair up or it would be sweeping the floor.
He pulls her back up and sets a determined gaze on her, “Yes you are. I haven’t seen you in almost three weeks. We’ve never gone that long without-”
“Okay, okay,” She’s never going to win this argument. “Maybe I have been avoiding you just a little.”
“Tell me why.” His voice is soft but his tone is demanding. She loves when he gets like this.
The music speeds up and before she can reply he’s twirling her so fast only the years of ballet are keeping her from dizziness. When she stops abruptly right against his chest she is only faintly aware of the scattered applause.
“It’s not important.”
“It is to me.” Raspy, gentle, caring, raspy, raspy, raspy.
She suppresses a shiver. “I’m planning a surprise party for your birthday and i’ve been a little busy with the details.”
He growls in her ear before lifting her up in a twirl of his own and setting her down, “Liar.”
“Am not.” She huffs. The music speeds up.
They spin, and spin, and spin.
“You are. You used the surprise birthday party excuse every year for something or the other.” A gleam enters his eyes as he dips her and swoops her all the way up until she’s back to looking at his beautiful, angular face. “In fact last year you used it because two books from your favourite series were coming out at the same time and you didn’t want to be disturbed until you were finished.”
She stifles a giggle and looks anywhere but at him, because she will burst out laughing if she sees his judgemental look.
“Okay, okay.” The music reaches a crescendo as he lifts her high above his head, so she can see every patron attending the ball, and the crystal chandeliers hanging like rose bouquets above her. He sets her down and they stop abruptly; the last chord of the violin reverbrates through the room. “But let's go outside.”
She is breathless, his chest is heaving, and the applause is deafening. They are angelic. Percy raises a hand to present her and she curtsies for their audience. The claps get impossibly louder. She maintains a dignified smile, but can do nothing about the beautiful flush of her cheeks as she presents her dance partner who bows low and blows a kiss. The spectators laugh, some swoon, she wants to scowl. She smiles brighter.
And then they're racing outside and into their favourite place to get lost: the Maze of Madness. He laces their fingers together and sprints for the center, diving around corners and cursing at dead ends. She just laughs, her hair coming loose and her princessly state unhinged. She is nothing but sweetness, and flower petals, and summer breezes.
Finally they get to the center where the white stone bench sits, engraved with the words Si vis amari, ama. If you want to be loved, love. Gifted to them before she was an inkling on the horizon by the Kingdom of Caelum. The bench has held many a love story, and supported many a heartbreak. She believes it’s good luck.
They collapse onto it, stars glittering in their eyes and take a moment to catch their breaths.
Percy is the first to break their silence. “So,” he pokes her side, ‘Why are you avoiding me?”
“I was being a coward.”
He turns his body to her and gives her that intense look that simultaneously makes her wince and sets her soul on fire.
She starts slowly, trying to find the words that wouldn’t ruin their friendship but would still make her feelings clear. “I wanted to do something that night in the House of Hope but it might have turned out badly and I didn't want to risk it”
He doesn’t say anything for a while, doesn’t even seem like he’s breathing, so she forces her gaze upwards, to see green eyes burning into her.
“Some risks-” He is just as slow with his words, just as gentle. “Some risks are worth it.”
Percy puts a hand to her cheek, cold fingers brushing her skin. There is a question in his eyes that opens the cage of butterflies in her stomach.
“Kiss me Percy Jackson.” Piper whispers.
His answering smile lights up her every nerve, and when he finally brushes his soft lips against her own, every beat of her heart shudders to a stop. He cups her face in his hands, and brushes their lips over and over and over. Like he’s tasting the barest hints of her. Like if he goes any deeper he’ll never stop. She doesn’t ever want him to. So she laces her fingers behind his neck and keeps him pinned to her and when he groans her world detonates. They explore each other, in languid, deep strokes. His lips. Her tongue. His teeth. Her lips. Their hearts. They kiss like they mean it. They kiss like they’ll never get the chance again. They kiss like this is the meaning of life.
And when they break apart for gasping-interrupting air they are both grinning as wide and bright as moonlit ice. Her lips tingle and she touches a finger to them to make sure they’re still there, working, experiencing what she did.
He chases her hand away and brushes the pad of his thumb over her bottom lip. “You are so beautiful.”
Before she can reply a messenger rounds the corner, breathless. “Prince, your mother would like you back at the castle. She says it’s urgent.”
“Can it not wait till tomorrow?” He doesn’t bother to put any distance between them as he turns to the young boy. Her lips brush his cheek.
“I’m afraid not Prince, she says it’s a matter of great importance.”
He nods stiffly, and she can see the exasperation trying to escape his lungs. The messenger hurries away and Percy turns back to her, resting their foreheads together, eyes half-closed.
“You should go home,” The princess says after several beats of silence.
He presses a kiss to her forehead. “I’m already home.”
And she cannot help the smile that bursts out of her, like fireflies escaping the glass jar.
“We will continue this again soon, yes?” He opens his eyes, looks at her with all his intensity.
“Yes,” And the possibilities running through her soul float her up to cloud 9.
“Good,” He nods once, captures her lips with his again, and then tugs her up. “Then i shall go home, attend to whatever emergency my mother has and come back within the week.”
“I can’t wait.” Somewhere in the back of her mind, a clock is already ticking.
He kisses her again, like he can’t get enough, like he’s addicted. “You are beautiful Little Dove.”
Her heart squeezes at the familiar nickname. “Come back soon.” She hugs him by his car. “Come home soon.”
“You should come to Mare with me.”
“I cannot. I have to be here for the ball, and besides it’s the Floating in a few days.”
He takes her hands in his, kisses her knuckles. “Then I will be as fast as I can.”
Her eyes are shining with love as she pulls him in and kisses him one last time. He returns it with vigour, promising, promising, promising worlds between their lips.
And when she waves goodbye to the retreating black vehicle until it blends in with the night she decides the bench is in fact goodluck.

Of Dust and Ashes, Chapter 29
Heeey, it’s not Friday and it’s a week late but, chapter 29 for you! I’m starting to write again, the routine and habits are still lost but we’re getting there. Please continue to be patient with me while I work on getting us back to biweekly updates.
Chapter warnings: Non-graphic mentions of death, gore and dead babies.
Series warnings: everything?
Series rating: M for Mature.
Clint Barton x OFC
As a reminder, this runs the length of Endgame, filling in the 5 year time jump, shedding light on the environmental, economic, political and societal ramifications of removing 50% of the living population down to the bacterial level. In this series, we deal with topics such as suicide, mental health issues, depression, civil unrest, trauma, miscarriage and death. Not every character’s reactions will be logical however people don’t react logical to trauma. People make good and bad choices regardless of if they are a good or bad person. Every person has shades of gray and moral compasses can be swayed.

Chapter 29: Story Time
Clint nestled down on the ground. His back was propped against the wall and he was slouched over. Long legs stretched out in front of him, crossed at the ankles. Dee watched in silence as he seemed to settle into sleep within seconds.
She could never fall asleep that fast. She’d always been a light sleeper but it’d gotten better since she’d joined up with him and they made it to the farmhouse. The firelight from the small propane burner danced over their faces as they sat.
Rachel seemed afraid to look at her or Clint, instead keeping her head down and her eyes on Elsa. No, her name is Elizabeth. Lizzy. That was her name and she no business holding onto the idea of Elsa the baby.
She knew better. She didn’t want the baby. She couldn’t stomach the idea of taking care of her. As much as she wanted to believe it was better that they found her, part of her mind still cried that Lizzy’s life would have been better if it had been cut short. She didn't deserve to live in this new world. It would have been better if she had died before they found her. Rachel didn’t have much milk and there wasn’t a lot of formula to be had. It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t right.
It wasn’t fair that her kids were not a part of the 50% that turned to dust in the decimation and yet, they were still gone. It wasn’t right that they had to experience the pain of burning to death. It wasn’t fair that she couldn’t have comforted them in their last moments. It wasn’t right that the sounds of their screams still haunted her nightmares.
“Are you okay?” Rachel’s voice snapped Dee out of her thoughts. Relaxing her fingers, she felt the joints creak. She couldn’t remember grabbing her pack but she had curled herself in on it and was clinging to it. The corners of her eyes were damp.
“I just want to go home.” Dee whispered.
“You will, soon. You two will abandon us and go safe behind the fence while we die outside. While everyone dies outside.”Dee was silent for a moment. She’d not been kind to Rachel and even now, she felt the annoyance prickle at her.
“It’s not that home I’m crying for.” Rachel hummed, for once minding her tongue or she was too tired to keep up the attitude. “I didn’t always live there.”
“Why are you there then? How did you convince him to take you in?”
“You can’t.”
“Help me. Woman to woman. If you had a child- maybe you’d understand.”
“You think I’m not a mother? You want to ‘mother to mother’ have a talk?” Deanna’s whisper was harsh.
“I mean- if you were you’d”
“I had two. In this bag-” Dee ripped open the zipper and reached in, under the bottles and cans to the bottom. Her fingers curled around the worn fabric. A small part of her relaxed as she pulled out the small tired blanket and stuffed fox. “A girl and a boy.”
“So you understand. So convince him to let us in. He trusts you, right? You can-”
“No.”
“But we could die? She’ll die.”
“Maybe that’s better?” Dee snapped, checking her voice as she glanced at Clint. His foot twitched but he seemed to still be asleep.
“Do you know what I’ve seen in the last what, six months?”
“Did you not see what you just saved me from?”
“I’ll go from most recent to the start for you. I killed people to save you. Living people who had friends, families who may still be alive to miss them and who may have not had much of a choice in what they were doing.”
“Yeah, but-”
“I was attacked in front of a store, in a parking lot. I sprained my ankle and killed a man trying to protect myself. Trust killed another protecting me. Clint- He saved me. I didn’t trust him at first. He brought me to the farmhouse.”
“So, why won’t he-” Deanna kept talking, not caring that Rachel had spoke. Somehow, it felt good to say it. To tell her story to someone. How much she was going to tell, she hadn’t decided.
“Before that, I had stopped in Utah. I killed a man there, too. He scared me and seemed insane. I shot him and when I searched his backpack- there was cans of formula. Some were busted open. His ID showed a local address. God, I felt so guilty. I hadn’t seen formula when I’d go into stores for supplies.”
“You killed a man trying to feed his baby.” Rachel accused.
“That’s what I thought.” Deanna still wouldn’t look at her. “I went to the address. I don’t know, I expected the wife or mom to be there. Maybe I was going to beg for forgiveness or for her to kill me. I don’t know. When I got there, no one was there. I looked and looked. Then I found her.”
“What happened to her? Did you give her away?”
“She was already dead.”
“You should have been faster.”
“She’d been dead for days, maybe weeks. Before I killed her dad. I think- I think the grief drove him mad. She was in clean clothes in the middle of the bed. I don’t think he was willing to admit she wasn’t alive anymore.
That was a few months ago, closer to the beginning. Before that, I met up with a young man who helped me figure out how to survive. I don’t know if he was a doomsday guy or what, but he had a plan that seemed like a solid one. He helped me figure out how to start moving forward.
We stopped to get supplies before leaving our hometown in California. We were loading everything up in the motor homes we were planning to live in. His family had owned a dealership. He- we had a run in with a teacher from my daughter’s school. The teacher- he shot him. I was lucky to get away.”
“I’m sorry.” Rachel whispered. Dee wondered what Rachel thought the lives of people in other places were like.
“It’s a blur before that. There was a dead body in a gas station. The news TV station was taken over by someone calling themselves a king.”
“Another one?”
“There’s probably more than a few.” Dee glanced to Clint again. He still was sleeping, snoring lightly. “Before that, a news anchor’s sister committed suicide. Mr. Rick and Mr. Taft, teachers from my daughter’s school- the same ones who attacked us while loading the RVs- broke into my house to steal food and supplies.
That brings me to the start of it all. The moment the new world began and the old world ended. The sounds- god I can’t get them out of my head. The crunch of metal hitting metal. The squeal of tires. The smell- smoke thick. The sound of screams- god so much screaming and waiting for sirens that never came.”
“What happened?” Rachel’s face was pale as Deanna shook like a leaf while tears streamed down her face. In that moment, Dee was gone and all that was left was the woman she had been, Deanna morning the loss of the life she had once had. The strength she had learned was nowhere to be found.
“They went to a year around school- I was a single mother so it was easier and they were getting a good education. No summer slidebacks in their knowledge. Did you know that kids forget up to 20% of what they learned the prior year during summer break?
I put them on the school bus. It was sunny, a beautiful day. I should have kept them home and taken them to the beach or something. But I didn’t. I needed to go pick up her birthday cake and set everything up for the party. The bus turned and the fuel truck barreled through the red light. I’m pretty sure the driver had turned to dust.
I don’t know how many on that bus also were in the half that were decimated. But I saw their faces in the window as the fire spread. I couldn’t- people tried but the emergency exits were pinned. They couldn’t get out of the windows and the fire was hot- god it was so hot. The roar was deafening but I could still hear them. I could hear their screams. I could hear them yelling for me. I could see them and they could see me. I close my eyes and I see their faces.
I should have gone to them. I should have gotten closer. I should have tried to get them out. I should have done more than sit there, watching while others tried. I should have died trying.
But I didn’t.”
Rachel sat and picked at the blanket wrapped around Elizabeth as Deanna stopped and wiped the tears from her eyes. “I’m sorry. They should have survived. No one deserves to go through that.”
“I’m not sure.” Deanna whispered as she prepared to give voice to her greatest secret. “Maybe it was better that they died. I don’t know if I would have wanted them to live in this world. Maybe it’s better for all the kids that turned to dust to not have to know what came next. Maybe the next best thing for them is to die early, quickly and painlessly if possible and not watch their parents become murderers and thieves.”
“You don’t mean that.” Rachel said, holding Elizabeth tighter. A part of her wanted to believe that Dee hadn’t met what she had said but a larger part of her feared that she did. It occurred to her that this woman, who had been taking care of her baby, that she had been counting on for refuge and safety, was deeply broken.
“Maybe.” Deanna answered. “We’ve all lost things. It’s a dangerous idea to count on anyone.”
“You count on him.”
“And it could someday get me killed. Or I could get him killed. We cannot- will not be solely responsible for you. We can’t.”
“But-”
“I need him and he needs me. That is the only reason we are together. That’s the only reason you should band together and trust anyone right now. Without that need, there is nothing to stop them from turning on you. Nothing stopped teachers from turning on their values, their morals. Anyone can turn.”
“How do you know the nurse won’t turn on me? I don’t have anything to offer her. I don’t have anything to offer anyone. Should I just give up, kill Lizzy then myself? Is that what you think would be the solution, the best course of action for me? Just end it because I’m too useless to be helpful?” Rachel’s voice was climbing some but the withering look Deanna gave her brought it down again.
“When did I say that?” Dee snapped. “We saved your life. It’s not that we want you dead, it's that you are your own responsibility. We gave you a second chance, a second start at this new crappy world.
As for Sasha- You should be safe enough with her. She didn’t want to let us keep Lizzy at first. What she seems to need is someone to take care of. I get that, I needed that too. It’s how I ended up with Trust. What you need is someone to help support you and band together with you. You both have needs the other can meet and she’s helped us before.”
“So you trust her?” Rachel’s fire was dying and Dee was thankful for it.
“Well enough, I think. She needs food too. We’re supplementing her supplies so she’s got reason to keep us happy. She saved Lizzy, she had formula for her, checked her out and helped us warm her up. I still can’t believe she was still alive when we found her.”
“And that is good enough?” Rachel looked timid, scared in the darkness. She lacked to fire that seemed to hold back fear.Tears welled in her eyes.
Dee reminded herself that the woman had been through a lot of trauma. They all had been and each reacted differently. Some semblance of normal would do her good and hopefully Sasha could offer that.
“You should get some sleep. It’s a long walk back to the truck but once we get to it, it’ll be easy going.”
For once, Rachel didn’t argue. She nodded and curled herself around Lizzy on the ground with her back to the fire. She was cold but there wasn’t anything that could be done about it. Dee was cold too but that would only serve to help keep her awake.
Silence stretched on around her. Her heart ached and felt raw. Part of her wished she had never told her story to Rachel. Another part of her felt a weight off her shoulders to have finally said it, all of it.
“You should sleep.” Clint mumbled as he reached out for her. “It’s my turn.”
Deanna almost jumped out of her skin. She wasn’t sure how long she’d been sitting there, watching the fire and lost in her thoughts. Tears had long dried on her face and she had repacked her bag.
"I'm fine." She whispered.
"Fine is good. But you won't be in the morning and it's a long walk. Come here."
She didn't argue. She didn't want to argue. There was nothing in the world she wanted more than to be held by him. He was her sanctuary. As much as she wanted to be safe behind the gate at the farmhouse, what she needed to feel safe, to be safe, was him. Just him.
Curling herself around him, her fingers dug into the layers of coats that covered his body. He shifted and unzipped his coat and slipped it from his shoulders.
“You’ll get cold.”
“Take yours off too.” He answered with a sly smile.
With a sigh, she did. The bitter cold bit at her arms as she handed over her coat. She watched as he spread it out on the ground and settled himself on it. When he again reached out for her, she went willingly enough. Her coat was still warm from her under them. She could feel the warmth of him as he spread his coat out over them.
“It’s not blankets but it’s better than nothing. We’ll be warmer this way.” He mumbled into the top of her head as he held her tightly to him.
“What if you fall asleep?” She mumbled, already dozing off.
“I won’t.” Clint promised as he watched her slip into sleep. Her protests were half hearted at best.
She felt so good pressed against him, warm and solid. He drank in the feeling. Even if he had nothing else, he had her. It wasn’t something he planned on giving up any time soon. It wasn’t something he’d be willing to give up, ever.
It was early when Clint nudged her awake. He didn’t want to, waking her meant facing the day. There was a deep ache in his back and shoulders, one he hadn’t felt in a long time. It’d been a few years since he’d been on a mission where he’d had to rough it this much.
“Come on.” He whispered when Dee’s groggy eyes blinked open. “Eat what we can and set out a share for her-” his eyes flicked over to Rachel, still sleeping and curled around Lizzy. “Get a bottle ready too and pack everything else up. We’ll let her sleep until we’re almost ready.”
“Will we make it back to the house tonight?”
“If we’re lucky.” Clint sighed. “Careful not to wake her- I’m not ready to listen to her yet.”
Dee laughed softly before leaning up and placing a soft kiss to his lips. Clint’s arms tightened around her, pulling her closer somehow. His breath washed over her. “If we’re not, I don’t wanna get up.” She mumbled against his lips.
“I know Babe, but we have to.”
She whined dramatically and he chuckled. He was right, she knew it but in that moment it was like they were in a little bubble. The bubble that seemed to surround the farmhouse was somewhere there, with them, in that abandoned office building. If the bubble could find them there, she decided it could find them anywhere. The bubble of happiness and safety wasn’t the farmhouse, it was him.
“I love you.” She whispered as if it was some great secret.
“I love you too.” He answered. “But up, now. I really need to piss.”

...
Patton blinked awake slowly. His vision faded into focus, and he was startled to see thick, black metal bars criss-crossing about a foot above him.
No… it couldn’t be. How was Patton back in a cage? Hadn’t he gotten away? Fear started to twist in his chest as he frantically tried to figure out how he had gotten here.
“Well aren’t you being a lazy-bones, dolly?” a high-pitched, grating voice suddenly sing-songed. It felt like it came from everywhere at once, making even his bones vibrate. Patton’s blood ran cold.
No…. No, no, no, no! Patton sat up fast, almost like he’d been shocked, snapping his head towards the source of the voice. Pale blue, visibly annoyed eyes larger than his entire head met his.
“Marissa,” he whispered, the word as frail as a dead leaf trembling on its branch, about to be blown away in the wind. His eyes were wide with shock as they took in the huge child’s pudgy, pink face. His fingers began to go numb with panic, his legs trembling.
“I want to play,” Marissa announced, spitting slightly on the ‘p’. Her hand shot towards the cage door, the movement almost too fast to see. She grinned, showing a mouth full of sharp teeth.
Patton jumped up while she was busy unlocking the door and tried to run, to hide, but there was nothing in the cage but himself, and his feet seemed to slide backwards on the slick plastic floor, making his attempts to run slower than a crawl. The door fell open with a clang; and Marissa’s hand snatched him up easily, lifting him off his feet. Patton’s arms were pinned to his sides, his legs hanging uselessly. The grip around him tightened, pushing the air from his lungs and leaving him breathless.
Marissa pulled him out of the cage and dropped him unceremoniously on the table it sat on. Patton staggered to his feet and attempted to run again, slipping on the fabric scraps strewn about on the wood. Marissa casually flicked his back, sending him crashing to the unforgiving tabletop with a small cry. A sharp pain throbbed in his back, and tears pricked in Patton’s eyes. He had only just begun pushing himself back up on shaky arms when Marissa abruptly grabbed at him again, pinching his right arm between her fingertips, the pressure strongest just above his elbow. She slowly lifted up his struggling form, and Patton’s arm quickly began to go numb as he couldn’t help but whine in discomfort. His legs kicked at the air, and Marissa shook him harshly. It was a miracle that his shoulder didn’t dislocate.
“Stop it!” she snapped at him. “I’m playing!”
Patton went limp immediately, hanging awkwardly as dead weight from the one arm Marissa had pinched in her grasp. His heart was pounding, but he knew from experience that if he kept struggling, he could get seriously hurt.
Marissa giggled, apparently pleased by his compliance. She took a step back from the table, then lifted Patton up high, oh, so high, impossibly far from the floor below. He stared down at Marissa’s face with frightened eyes. She grinned, her teeth somehow even sharper than before, like the shark teeth he had seen once in a book.
“W-wait, p-ple-ase,” he gasped desperately, realizing what was about to happen. “Don’t!”
She let go anyway.
…
Patton awoke for real with a jolt and a startled, quickly stifled cry. Disoriented by the dream that still felt so incredibly real, his eyes darted around, desperately trying to figure out where he was. It was a stark contrast to what he had just experienced: It was dark; the cage and Marissa were both gone; and most notably, he was no longer plummeting to his certain death. He found that he was lying in a nest of blankets and other soft materials, a warmth at his side.
Patton knew then where he was: He was in Virgil’s and Emile’s home, curled up alongside them. He wasn’t with Marissa. He wasn’t with any human at all. He was free. He was safe.
I’m safe, Patton repeated to himself. I’m safe.
As the all-consuming terror of his dream faded, Patton slowly felt himself return to his body. One of the blankets had gotten wrapped around him at some point, nearly pinning his left arm to his side. He had also rolled onto his other arm, which had now gone numb beneath him from the elbow down.
Patton forced his left arm free of the blanket, then rolled over onto his back and tried to catch his breath as quietly as possible. Pins and needles pricked through his numb right arm, the feeling gradually returning to it as his heart rate just barely began to slow to its normal pace. It had been a while since he’d had a nightmare that bad. He didn’t think he had had one so vivid and terrifying since before Virgil had rescued him.
The brother lying closer to him was stirring, probably roused due to Patton’s movement and any noise he hadn’t quite managed to silence. Patton had gone to bed first of the three that night, and it was rather dark in the room, so he wasn’t sure which brother it was. He hoped that he hadn’t woken either of them. Virgil had told him that he could always wake him up if this happened, but… Patton just felt so guilty doing that. Virgil and Emile had already done so much for him.
The person lying beside him relaxed again after a moment, his breathing evening out; and Patton released his breath in a quiet, relieved sigh. He stared up into the darkness, his heart still pounding, and hoped that he would eventually fall back asleep.
…
“Hey… did I elbow someone last night?”
“What?” Virgil asked, glancing over at Emile from where he’d been sitting, in the middle of sewing up a hole in his jacket. Patton, who had been sitting nearby untangling a wad of string, stilled. He thought of the part of his dream when Marissa had flicked him. The spot on his back was still a little sore despite the injury having happened in a dream.
“I thought, maybe… I don’t know,” Emile was saying, trailing off uncertainly. He shrugged, glancing between his brother and Patton. “Sorry.”
“I mean, you do it often enough that I wouldn’t be surprised,” Virgil admitted jokingly. “But it wasn’t me.” He glanced towards Patton questioningly.
“Oh—um, maybe,” Patton admitted. “My back, I think? It wasn’t too hard. I barely even woke up. I never would have known if you hadn’t said anything.” He took a long sip of his water, glancing away.
“Oh,” Emile said, sounding relieved. “Okay. Sorry about that, anyway. It was an accident.”
Patton shook his head, setting down his cup and looking up at Emile with a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry, kiddo; you were asleep. It’s not your fault. I’m fine, promise.”
Virgil glanced between the two of them, then returned to his sewing. One of the lights flickered overhead just as Virgil went to do a stitch, and he pricked his finger with the needle. Virgil sighed, sitting back. “So, are we doing anything today besides mending clothes?” he asked, sticking the tip of his sore finger in his mouth.
“I was actually meaning to talk to you two about that,” Emile said. “I need to go out and get some things.” He rolled his shoulders and stretched. “It might take a couple days, though .”
“A couple of days?” Virgil echoed. “Where are you going?”
“I need to get some stuff on the upper floors. For repairs and such. We’re running low.”
Virgil removed the finger from his mouth. “Okay. Let me come.”
Emile sighed. “No.”
Patton shifted uncomfortably. The light flickered again.
“Why not?” Virgil said, sounding annoyed now.
“I’m—I’m gonna take a walk,” Patton announced. Virgil and Emile didn’t fight very often; but things were still kind of tense between them; and it made Patton rather nervous to see, even though he knew by now that they were not going to change their minds about letting him stay.
“Wait, Pat, you don’t have to go,” Virgil said, the annoyance immediately gone from his voice.
“I won’t go far,” Patton promised, already getting to his feet.
Virgil sighed, rubbed his temple, then nodded. “…Okay. Don’t be gone too long, though, yeah?”
Patton made an affirmative noise, grabbed a water pouch from near the door, and left the room as he fastened it around his waist.
…
“Why can’t I go with you?” Virgil asked once Patton was gone, turning back to Emile. “Do you really still think I can’t do it?”
“Virgil, I can’t—”
“You can,” Virgil interrupted. “I can do it. You know it. I know it. I’ve left the walls before, so many times! Haven’t I proven myself capable? I know you’re still mad that I lied to you, but I can do it! I saved Patton from humans. I can steal a few crumbs without being caught. Why do you still treat me like a helpless child?”
“It’s not that I think you can’t do it,” Emile said as calmly as possible.
“Then what is it? Are you still mad about me saving Patton?”
“I’m not mad that you saved Patton, of course not! I’m mad because—I’m mad that you didn’t tell me about him sooner!”
Virgil paused, confused. He hadn’t told Emile about going to see Patton in the time between finding and rescuing him, that was true, but why was this somehow worse than all the other times he had left the walls without Emile’s permission?
“Look, I get that it wasn’t safe—.”
“It’s not that,” Emile snapped. “It’s not just that. It’s…. Why didn’t you tell me? Did you think I wouldn’t want to help him? Why didn’t you trust me? Did you really think that I would ever leave someone stuck in a cage, that I would be that selfish?”
“…No,” Virgil said quietly, realization dawning in his eyes. He opened his mouth to say more, but found that he had apparently forgotten how to speak.
“I just… I need some time to think. Okay?”
After a long pause, Virgil all but whispered, “You’ve had two months to think.”
“Have I?” Emile asked. “We’ve been busy trying to get Patton back on his feet—he was so sick when you brought him here, Virge; you know that. And besides that, I’ve had to be collecting supplies for three people now—and don’t you dare use that against me,” he interrupted himself, before Virgil had the chance to say that that was all the more reason for him to go with. Which may or may not have been exactly what he was about to do.
Instead, Virgil sighed. “Fine. Whatever.”
“Patton wouldn’t want to be left alone, anyway, would he?” he reasoned more gently.
Virgil thought for a moment. “I guess not,” he admitted reluctantly. He knew that Patton couldn’t do a trip like that yet, certainly not easily, and it wasn’t fair to ask him to attempt to travel that far. Emile had a point. They couldn’t leave Patton alone here for two days. Not with the nightmares he got when alone. He looked away, then got to his feet, grabbing the crutches that had been laying at his side. “I’m going to go find Patton,” he announced, already on his way out the door.
“Do you want me to wait until you get back before I leave?” Emile called after him. “I have everything mostly ready, but I can wait.”
“No, why bother?” Virgil said, his back to his brother. “Don’t let me interrupt your thinking time.” He did pause in the doorway, though, and look back at Emile. “I am sorry,” he said, his tone softer and gentler than before. “I wasn’t thinking about—When I didn’t tell you about Patton, it wasn’t because I actually thought you’d leave him. I know you would have helped him escape, too. I was just… just scared, I guess. I didn’t realize that it would seem like I thought you’d do that to him. So… I’m sorry for that. Really.”
Emile nodded, not meeting his eyes; and Virgil left the house.
…
Virgil had a pretty good idea of where he could probably find Patton. He knew that his friend wouldn’t have left the floor, which narrowed things down quite a bit. There was a spot that the two of them had visited frequently since Patton had first arrived, as the two of them went on regular walks together, trying to get Patton’s strength up.
The walks were working pretty well, and they could go a lot further now before Patton needed a rest than they had been able to at the beginning, meaning that they usually no longer needed to use this place for a rest. Patton had come a long way. Even so, they often visited there, whether Patton actually needed a break or not.
There was a spot where a hole was cut into an air vent on this floor, both to allow access to the vent and to let more of the heat it carried to reach the littles’ house in the colder months. There was a vent cover near the entrance that had a view down into the apartment below, which had a large aquarium almost perfectly placed in the center of the view the vent provided. It was a nice place to spend some time, honestly, just watching the fish swim about. Virgil went there; and sure enough, Patton was sitting in front of the vent cover, hugging his knees and looking through the slats at the fish tank below.
“Hey,” Virgil said softly, nearing.
Patton looked up. “Oh, hi, kiddo!” he greeted. “What’re you doing here?”
“Came to find you.” He sat down at Patton’s side. “How are the fish?”
“Sasha and Sweetpea keep chasing each other,” Patton answered. He had insisted on naming all ten of the fish in the tank during their past visits. “Maybe they’re playing tag.”
Virgil nodded seriously, looking down at the fish, two of which, sure enough, were chasing each other around the tank. “I’m sorry about earlier,” he said. “I hope we didn’t make you too uncomfortable.”
“It’s okay,” Patton mumbled, looking back to the fish.
“It’s okay if it’s not okay,” Virgil said.
Patton shifted, adjusting how his arms rested around his knees. “Really, Virgil—I know that you and Emile are going to fight sometimes. And I know you’re not going to kick me out. It just… makes me nervous, sometimes, that tone of voice.” He looked away with a feeble shrug. “
Virgil looked down at the floor of the vent ruminatively. After a moment, he put a reassuring arm around Patton’s shoulders. “I’ll try to not do that anymore,” he said. “And I’ll talk to Emile. We can try to have more… discussions, before things get heated.”
“It’s not even really just fighting, though,” Patton admitted softly. “It’s just…”—he smudged at his eye with his sleeve—”when she used to get annoyed, it wasn’t… It wasn’t good.” He kept staring determinedly down at the fish. “I know you’re not—you’re not even….” (Human, Virgil thought, silently finishing the sentence.) Patton swallowed. “But it still makes me nervous, for some reason. It’s not fair to ask you guys to never be annoyed with each other, or realistic. I know that.”
Virgil bit his lip, his heart sinking at the thought of having scared Patton. “How about we promise to leave the room if that happens?” he offered. “You shouldn’t have to be the one who has to leave.”
Patton seemed about to refuse, but Virgil squeezed his shoulder, and he reluctantly nodded. “If… if Emile’s okay with it,” he whispered.
“He will be, I know it. Besides,” Virgil said. “Emile and I were talking, and… we should hopefully not be fighting as much anymore. I realized I’ve been kind of a jerk to him.”
“You’re not a jerk,” Patton mumbled.
“Thanks. But… I did act like a jerk, kind of, to him. He was upset that I didn’t tell him about you before I brought you home. I guess he thought that I thought he wouldn’t want to help you. Which… I honestly hadn’t even considered.”
Patton glanced over, but he didn’t say anything.
“Anyway, I think it’s going to be better now,” Virgil said. “He’s probably out on that supply run already, though, so it’s just going to be the two of us for the next couple of days.”
…
Several minutes passed in silence, the two friends watching the aquarium below. After a while, Patton released his knees and sat back, uncurling a bit from his formerly hunched position.
“Do you think Roman and Logan are okay?” Patton asked softly. The question probably seemed out of nowhere, especially given their previous conversation topic; but Patton still thought about the humans quite a lot.
“Does it matter?” Virgil frowned, glancing at him. “They’re humans.”
“Yeah, but…” Patton bit his lip. “I’d just like to know.”
“Why?” The question seemed genuine.
“I don’t… I don’t know. They were pretty nice to me, weren’t they, even though they’re humans? I don’t really—I don’t know why they let me go, or why… anything they did. But they were nice to me. Without them, I could’ve….” Patton trailed off, uncomfortable and uncertain. “I don’t know.” The humans had saved him, really. Patton was pretty sure. He knew that he had been in bad shape when the found him—even if they had basically kidnapped him, Patton thought that their intentions were good. They had fixed up his hands, given him food and water and a place to recover from his ordeal; although, they hadn’t exactly gone about it the way that Patton would have preferred. Even after they had stopped trapping him in the cage, they left him on top of a table that he was too ill to climb down alone. There were also the multiple times they had scared him, whether it was intentional or not. Plus, while he didn’t remember much about when the humans had found him at the beach, he was pretty sure that he had not exactly been captured willingly. Still, the bad things that the humans had done didn’t negate the ways that they had attempted to help him. Even the outfit whose sleeve Patton was worrying between his fingers attested to that. The fact remained that, had Roman and Logan not found him, the chances were not insignificant that someone else would have instead. And even if that hadn’t been her… Patton would prefer not to think about it. He knew that he had gotten lucky.
If he hadn’t been caught by Logan and Roman, after all, he would never have met Virgil and Emile, would he?
Virgil brought Patton out of his thoughts when he sighed, looking up towards the ceiling. He had made it clear that he still thought that the humans had been trying to trick Patton into becoming a pet, or an experiment, or something of the sort through some kind of mind game; but he had also all but admitted that they had seemed to genuinely want to help Patton. Now, he looked conflicted.
As Patton watched, Virgil screwed his eyes shut, as if already suspecting that he was going to regret what he was about to say. “Well…” he began reluctantly, “I guess… we have some free time while Emile’s out on his supply run. If—if it’ll make you happy, we can go down to the second floor. Just for a bit, to look in on them.”
Patton sat up straighter and turned to his friend, surprised. “But… I thought you closed off all the doors?” He had been working on that for a while, starting a couple of weeks after he’d rescued Patton. Once he’d been settled in, Virgil had started leaving about one day per week to work on closing off the doors. Emile had reluctantly allowed it since it didn’t require leaving the walls, and Virgil surely wasn’t going to disobey in this case. Virgil had finished the job some time ago.
Virgil shifted at his side. “I left one,” he admitted quietly. “For emergencies.”
Patton felt a flutter of excitement. “You’re sure about this?” he checked.
…
Virgil knew he shouldn’t have made the offer.
The humans that Patton had been trapped with were just that: humans. Practically synonymous with the word “danger”. But as Virgil watched his friend’s eyes light up, he felt a bit better about his decision. What he was offering really didn’t invite a lot of danger: they were not going to let the humans see them, and they were not going to get close enough to get caught even if that did somehow happen. They were certainly not going to talk to the humans. Virgil was only offering a look at them, to show his friend that they were okay. Something he would definitely not be offering had the humans shown any sign of seriously looking for Patton. Either they had given up quickly, or they were almost hilariously incompetent at searching for him. Good news for the littles either way.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” Virgil assured, getting to his feet. “Consider it an apology for upsetting you.” He adjusted his crutches and put out a hand to help Patton up. His friend took it with a small smile; and Virgil pulled him to his feet, trying to ignore the fact that he could still feel the thick, slightly raised line of the scar across his friend’s palm. “Let me be clear, though—we’re not talking to them, or letting them see us. Just looking in on them. I left a doorway in the living room, where we can see them and stay hidden.”
“You don’t have to do this,” Patton said.
“I know. But if it’ll make you feel better, and we don’t take any risks… why not?”

"Golden" One-Shot
Pairing: Jimin x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 2.1k
Warnings: None
A/N: This Story has been re-written. Please Enjoy
Masterlist
~°•☆•°~°•☆•°~°•☆•°~°•☆•°~°•☆•°~°•☆•°~°•☆•°~
“Baby, come on, don’t be mad”.
Rolling her eyes at him, y/n turned away from Jimin leaving him to his own devices.
At this point, he was surely talking to the potted plant by her side, as she ignored every single sentence that dripped from his tongue.
There were these things, things that y/n called deal breakers; and one of the biggest deal breakers to her in a relationship is lying.
It is not like her and Jimin hadn’t spoken about this at the beginning of their relationship.
This conversation occurred; all expectations were laid on the table and all things were made transparent.
Yet, here we stand.
---
Taking advantage of her now crouched position near the aforementioned plant on the floor, the young dragon made use of his scaly tale to take a hold of y/n’s waist and slowly pull her to a standing position, attempting to gain more closeness to her; however in response to his swift action, Jimin was striked in the head by the branches of a nearby tree.
“Stop".
“Bubs, I promise…I just went out with the boys for a couple of drinks; there weren’t even any mermaids there. Only centaurs ….and maybe werewolves ….and a couple of dragons".
“See, the more creatures you add to your list of attendees, the less I believe in you.”
Attempting to walk away once more, y/n changed her course, hoping the new direction would allow her to have some space away from that -lizard- she called a boyfriend; bountiful flowery hair slapping him in the process of her departure.
---
Some would say he deserved her apathy and others would say she should have seen it coming.
Jimin was in fact, very popular and was known around Illitopia for being the maker of all parties.
Day in and day out, his life consisted of chilling with his friends, hosting parties and hitting on anyone he laid his eyes on.
Y/n knew this, she didn’t mind that, nevertheless, the lie is what she didn’t like, to her, honesty is always the best policy.
If only he would have told her where he was going instead of lying to her, then being caught by the queen of the woods would have been the least of his problems.
---
Being a dragon usually brought somewhat of a reputation tied to it.
One of the stances held over Jimin’s head like a golden trophy, was the rolling ball of him being a player;. Much to a lot of mythical creature’s dismay, this dragon was not far away from that statement.
That and other cliché things that were believed by both humans and mythicals to be speculations, were actual half-truths that dragons won’t deny or admit to.
♤♤ Flashback ♤♤
Jimin remembers when he first saw her.
Her golden skin seemed to have a shine and radiance of its own, it could easily be compared to the rays of the sun. Her features were framed by a curly bush of hair that within itself, contained various flowers and vines that cascaded all the way to her shoulders.
And let’s not talk about her laughter. It was so pure it sounded like a hidden waterfall that had been untampered by the filth of the world.
From her ears, a pair of intricate earrings hung with what seemed to be butterflies created from who-knows-what precious stone.
She was perfect or maybe more than that. He’s never seen anything, or anyone beam so bright like she did; and like the greedy being he was, he had to have her.
---
“Compared to other nymphs, your looks seem to be…superior." he said raking his eyes over her.
“You wish I was a simple nymph. I am queen of the woods, don’t forget that, lizard” she replied eyeing him with disgust.
“Feisty, I like it"
“Sadly, for you, I don’t like dragons, so you may take your leave now”
“Aww, why not?” his sharp white teeth briefly flashing her after he feigned being hurt.
“We can start with the fact that your kind are the epitome of everything that I do not like; players, manipulators, liars and greed, not my favorite mix.”
---
The way her body exuded confidence and disinterest in him made him yearn for her even more, why? he could have anyone, but none of them were like her.
He knew it sounded immature. Like a child wanting what he can’t have, but was that so wrong?
---
“I don’t lie… but I could work on all the other parts, as long as I get to have my own queen, a glorious golden queen if I may say so.”
---
Jimin was sure she was the polished piece that was missing in his gleaming collection. Furthermore, he refuses to let anyone taint her with their filthy hands.
Therefore, he made it his mission to woo and entice her.
---
It took him months, nearly an entire year for her to take his advances soberly. Most of her initial answers towards his courting were met with snarky answers or scoffs towards his statements; still he had finally made her his and unknowingly he ended up being only hers.
---
Now the only thoughts that crowd his mind are the ones following those days; the memory of them having a picnic not too far on the side of a pond hidden in the middle of a clearing in the woods.
It was the first-time y/n had accepted his proposal of taking her out on a date, promising her she wouldn’t regret it.
Or also that one time they decided to go hiking and y/n got too tired to walk back down, so he shifted and flew them back to the valley surrounding the mountain base.
And who can forget the first time they shared a kiss. That night the faes had helped Jimin light up the forest in the most majestic way possible. Never had the nature faes listened to anyone else but the queen, however they somehow felt safe with him just like with their majesty.
Once the assistants of nature guided their monarch to her destination, they disappeared leaving a faint glow behind that barely lit up their silhouettes enough to find each other.
Jimin came clean about how at the beginning, it was a challenge he made to himself of conquering the unconquered one, however with time, he had started noticing the little cute things she did, her quirks, the way the flowers in her hair changed colors based on her mood or how she was always surrounded by some type of fauna and took care of each one of them.
Now all those things made his heart flutter.
His hands had never sweat like that day, due to nervousness, in fact he had never been nervous, let alone for asking someone out.
On that day he shook like a leaf at the mercy of the wind while he held y/n’s hand in his and spoke to her in almost a whisper.
Her smile extended from one ear to another, the flowers in her hair turning yellow and lilac and her eyes crinkling due to her large smith while she bounced eagerly as he spoke.
One of his hands caressed her cheek while the other snaked around her lower back, gently pulling her closer to him until they bumped into each other’s chest.
It felt like years as they watched each other unsure if they should continue what they had begun or if the other would make the first move.
Unfortunately, they’ll never know who acted out first, considering the fact that their intentions had now seeped into the physical realm.
Jimin remembers her soft lips brushing against his, both of them uncertain if the previous motion was the right thing to do, nevertheless they venture deeper into their wants, y/n’s hands now circling his neck, slightly scratching at it as his lips pressed firmly against her own.
A soft gasp and a small sigh of content left her lips as his tongue gave her bottom lip a soft lick, the warmness of it was a whole different contrast from the cool breeze swooshed between them.
All of their thoughts were obliterated, as they captured each other and left small nips here and there.
What great memory. Sadly, Jimin had to soon return to the present and that meant fixing the crap he did.
♤♤End of Flashback♤♤
Ready to re-test his luck, Jimin took another blind chance to capture y/n’s wrist with his strong tail, this time making use of his sneakiest weapon, baby dragon eyes accompanied by a pout.
Regrettably, Jimin’s brownie points were running low and it showed once y/n finally faced him with golden irises on display. The brilliant hue almost matched the golden color of her skin.
Eyes solely focused on Jimin now, branches began to appear from behind her, catching Jimin by surprise.
“Listen here Dragon, if you don’t let me go, I won’t be held responsible for the consequences" She warned with vice in her tone.
Feeling like story was repeating itself, Jimin looked her up and down and blessed her eyes with his spiky white teeth before saying what could easily become his last words.
“Or what baby?”
In a blink of an eye y/n’s branches and thorns fastened to Jimin’s legs with a merciless grasp that constricted his body like a boa ready for her meal.
Each branch and thorn seemed to have a mind of its own, as they slowly slithered themselves all the way from his legs to his chest and neck.
He was sure she would end him this time. No mercy behind those golden eyes.
---
Like any couple, they’ve had their disagreements and it is safe to say that even for a dragon like him, y/n has the worst temper of them both.
Tails say, it’s due to the humans that she was made bitter, they ruined the soil we all step on. Others say a human man once lied to her to steal her grace, nonetheless, the words confirming these theories never spilled out of her mouth.
---
Sometimes Jimin forgot who his girlfriend really was and how strong she could be, up to the point where she could end him if he gave her the chance to do so.
Yet, after seeing her wrath and how much she could destroy him, he knew she had a soft spot for him; maybe it was love, maybe it was their mutual despise for the same creatures, but in the end he always found a way to make it up to her, because in his case, he did know that he had found love with her.
So, before she threw another oak tree at him like last month, he decided to do what was right.
“Baby, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to lie, I just wanted to spend some time with my friends"
“You could have said so from the beginning and not lie about you being at your mom’s”
“I know, ok and I’m sorry, I know I’m an idiot and I know what I did was wrong, and I made your trust in me break, but I promise it won’t happen again”
“It won’t happen because I’m going to end you here and now, Park Jimin”
“Babe, come on, you don’t mean that…” he hoped she didn’t mean that.
And just like that her eyes softened, no longer the golden color they held before.
Her face was now home of a small pout and her arms were crossed over her chest, still showing signs of her disappointment in him.
“So, I’m forgiven?”
“No! You’re still a liar”
“I promise it won’t happen again” he repeated giving her baby dragon eyes.
Even though she had calmed down, she still wasn’t budging.
“And I promise I’ll go plant 10 trees on Saturday of whichever type you want”
The 10 seconds that succeeded the sentence that slipped past his lips, were the swiftest 10 seconds on earth, he felt like there was a whole different person standing in front of him.
“Really Jimin? Any tree? You know we need more sequoias or maybe an English oak?”
“All of them my love, we can plant anything you want”
She beamed retracting all her roots, branches and thorns, while her hair returned to the beautiful bunch of flowers and vines it had been before.
Her skin still glowed; however, it now held a chocolatey glow to it.
---
Jimin watched her lovingly as she started walking back towards him, while a single vine from her hair gently tangled itself on his arm.
He brought up his wrapped arm and placed a soft kiss on her vine, earning a cheerful giggle from her.
“Anything for you, my golden queen of the woods”.

Across Another Dimension Ch.41
And…
“Great! We yelled, and we yelled like girl!” The short beagle yelled.
The three Beagles gang have their arm tie up in the metal chain, pulling by the ghost butler to make them move. The ghost bride lead them to somewhere.
“What about us now…” the buff beagle ask.
“W-We’re all gonna die…” cried the skinny beagle.
The ghost bride open a door, which reveals a magnificent library.
The library of the Mansion is large and grand, decorated with taxidermy animals and artifacts from exotic locations. Bunch of book piled up in the bookshelves, a fireplace that was on on their left side of the room. In the front was a two sofa with the small brown table in the between of it. Behind one of the couch was a black piano in a conservatory. A dead tree with no leafs and dry plant right outside the conservatory window. They notice a painting frame shape cover by the white sheet. But on the right side of it was a three empty grey picture with nothing on them.
“Here come the Master.” The ghost bride began to say as they all turn their head toward the another hall entrance.
Another ghost figure walk in. This spirit is a ghost dog. As he is a ghost, he is transparent. He is about four feet tall. He wore a layered black tapestry fabric, with luxurious black velvet lapels and a high regency style collar. Tailored back, with traditional split tails. Fully lined in rich black satin. Six ornate metal buttons decorate the front and two at the waist seam in back. He wore a black stocking and a black shining shoe.
“Master,” the ghost bride lift her wedding dress as she give the master a curtsy. “Here are the intruders that break into our humble mansion.”
The Master look at the Beagles gang, giving them a death and haunted glare. “You!” He raise his voice, the skinny and the buff beagle hide behind the tiny one. Two of their body are shaking with fear. Expect the tiny one, he’s not terrified. “How dare you!!” He continues. “Enter in my home without my PERMISSION!!!” He shriek at them.
“Does it matter?” The short beagle look at him, he doesn’t care if they broke into his home.
The Master look at the short one of the trio. “Ahh, so you’re a toughest one in your group. Very well then, let see how tough you are when you are going to be punish by trapping you three inside the painting. Emily my dear. You may leave child. You are done now.”
The ghost bride smile at him. “Of course master, you’re very welcome.” She left the library giving them alone. She close the door as she let out a giggle.
“Since you ALL are brave enough to walk into my home.” He flow toward a white sheet. “Since it isn’t a first time that someone have invade my precious mansion. They are all tough thinking that since the mansion is empty and no one is home. They might as well steal something for us.”
The three beagle gang look at each other as they raise their brows. And they look back at the Master.
“Of course, with all the spooky stories of the mansion that’s being haunted by ghosts and stuff by silly teenager. But those tales are very 100% true. But when they think ghost aren’t real and they can take something that’s precious to us. But once you’re inside, there’s no turning back now.” He snap his fingers as he let out a evil scary laugh.
“Look what happen to our first intruder, he was going to steal that belong to me. But we decided to punish him for stealing. And did you know what kind of punishment my dear dear intruder was given?” He let out a wicked smile.
The three beagle nervously shook their no.
“THIS!!!” He reveals them showing them a green parrot who is trap in the painting. It look like he was banging and trying to get out base on his pose.
The three beagle began to scream in terror. A Master lock all the door and exited of the library to prevent them from escaping. He then pick up one paints frame and look at them. “Now now,” he said in the calm voice. “It’s won’t hurt, I will just hit you on the top and voila! You’re inside the painting. It won’t take long.” He look at them with the evil smirk. “Now, which one should I choose.” He tap his chin, began thinking of which one will be in the painting first.
The Beagles gang began tearing up as the master let out a chuckle. “Oh don’t cry,” he said in the sweet voice like the one how people talk to baby. “You three won’t be alone now. But don’t worry. I will just place you three beside each other so you won’t be alone!”
He flow toward with a smirk. “If you want to be unpunish, apologize to me and I will accept and let you three go. I will count to three. And you better give me a apologize.”
“1…” The Master began counting.
“... 2…”
“And…” The Ghost Master began raising his painting frame to them.
“We’re sorry!!!!” The trio shriek. “We’re sorry to invade your home! We’re promise to never bother you and your home again! And we are not coming back! We learn our lesson! Please don’t trap us in the painting!!!!!” They began to cry like the little baby.
Behind a door, the ghost bride, two identical duck dress in pinks, look through the door crack. They giggle at this sight. But, a ghost bride turn her head away. She though she hear something, it almost sound like footsteps and strange humming sounded like the wedding march. The ghost bride began to investigate and follow that strange sound.
“Emily? Where are you going?” One of the Duck that have crown on his head look at her.
“I hear something,” she answer as she didn’t look at them. “I will go investigate, you two wait here.” She walk away as the two of the ducks walk with her to as they are curious too to see where that sound coming from. They left as they turn right side of the hall.
“Very well then.” He put down the frame, he snap his finger and all of the lock are gone and the door busted open. “You three are free to go. And don’t bother to come back, understand? Go! Leave before I change my mind.”
The Beagle gang made a mad dash out of the library. The Master watch from the window, he saw them running toward the gate and they immediately left the abandoned mansion.
A voice of the laughters was heard behind him, he turn to see the children laughing. The gang got out of their hiding spots.
“Oh Duckworth, that was marvelous! You did a splendid job!” Huey compliments.
“That is so cool!”
“Incredible acting skill.”
“I’m impress Duckworth.”
“Thank you all.” He smile.
“Well, that taken care of.” Panchito began to speak with a “back to business” tone. “We better get back to serious task that is free my friend Jose out of this painting.” He pat to the corner part of the frame. He look around and began to realize that someone is missing.
“Hey, where is that ghost bride and the other two Donald ducks?”
They all began to look at each other, then. Scanning the room to see where they are. Then, they all heard a scream.
“GUY HELP US!!!!!!”
“Donald!!!!” Both Panchito and Panchito turn his protective mode on.
“W-where?”
“It’s coming from the foyer!”
“Hey!” Panchito grab the red plumber by his arm. “There’s no time amigo, come with me!” The two rooster left the library and began running with Jose.
“Boys! Boys!” Princess Della was about to run but was grab by Launchpad. “Wait your highness, maybe it is best if you just stay here. Who know what is out there.”
“Listen, I don’t want to stay here and do nothing!” Princess Della shouted at him. “That’s my young twin brother out there.”
“Hurry!!!”
“I’m coming!” Princess Della manage to be free as she also ran out of the library with the other chasing her.
Panchito and the Super Caballeros ran and ran as fast as they could. They reach the foyer as the other manage to catch up but they all went wide-eyed from what they were looking at.
Before Anyone could say anything else as Donald sitting on the ground as he wrap have his arm wrap around the Boy Princess shoulders they are behind Emily, they too became wide-eyed in complete fright as well. Right there, was an female fox in a white wedding dress. Her gown has the decade's sleeves: Gigot-sleeves on shoulders and long sleeves. Long and not decorated court train. Extravagant pearl applications on the chest area, the high collar an on the white ribbon belt. The white ribbon belt tie around the fox waist. The bodice lining is fragile. One shoulder seam is opening. One little crack. Little stains. Her blond hair done up in a beehive, she wore five string of pearls, a waltz wedding veil with nothing on it on her hair.
The female fox was on top of Emily, and in her hand was appear to be a a small HATCHET!!! And she’s trying to hit Emily heart on her chest.
“Guys! You have to get out of here!” Emily cried.
“A-Another bride!?” They all exclaimed.

Present
Guess who’s back? So I watched Thor: Ragnarok on Thursday and it was awesome! So I decide to made this:3
Andrea Carissa Harvey Tom Hiddleston Andrew Logan Harvey
“Get out!” You shocked for a moment, you were looking for a socks in your twin brother’s drawer, it was so cold outside, you wear a long sleeved and a jacket, a pajama and a blanket while watching Martha Stewart on television.
Even when you already feel a little warm, but you realized your feet is cold and rigid. You forgot to bring your socks to your parent’s house, and you think Tom didn’t bring his socks too, since you are the one who packed his clothes. So you decided to go to your twin brother room, searching for a pair of socks on his drawer.
Your brother is still out with his friends, you didn’t know where, since when you just woke up he already gone, and maybe he will arrived home when you already fall asleep.
You came here because after your birthday and your brother’s birthday of course last week, on the birthday party everyone come, including your parents, but this night they decided to make a dinner with just they family, it was supposed to be yesterday, but your brother said he couldn’t come home on time, so it was canceled by your mother.
Tonight is supposed to be the dinner, but your twin is still out and haven’t come home yet. So you guess that it will be postpone again.
You can’t stay too long because of Tom’s schedule, and you didn’t want to have a dinner without Tom because it’s a family dinner, Tom is your husband so he’s a family too.
You were shocked at your brother entrance, it needs a minute to you to realize he is really talking to you.
You didn’t move an inch, and stay where you stand. His face is flushed, he looks like he is really angry at you, you still think he didn’t mad at you, because you were just looking at his drawer looking for a sock, you didn’t open an underwear drawer too, you open exactly a sock drawer because you know he has many, but still you really are confused.
“Andrew?”
“I said get out! Why are you still here?” Your eyes is now wet, you didn’t believe he did that to you. It just a sock.
“I just trying-” he cut you “GET OUT!”
You get out of his bedroom crying all the way to your bedroom, nobody saw you, after you arrived at your bedroom you throw yourself on the bed, you cover your face in the pillow crying. You still feel cold, but you don’t care you are angry, he just cruel. You just want a sock! A sock! It’s not like you steal from him or you tried to spying him or finding his porn magazine to tell their mom. Well, she doesn’t know if he ever had one.
You just confuse what did you do wrong? Breaking on someone’s bedroom it isn’t polite, but for twenty three years you live with him he never gets mad if you suddenly got into his room. What’s wrong with him now? And he’s home right now, which means the dinner is tonight, but you didn’t want to have a dinner with him, but it can’t be postponed again, can it?
You grab the cover and wrap it all over your body, it is so cold. Seems like your brother still mad, he doesn’t even chase her and tried to chase you.
Your parents and Tom is out buying food for tonight, you offer cooking with your mom, but she says she wants to buy something special so she declined that. Because you and Amdrew is the birthday girl and boy here so they don’t do anything, they just wait until their parents and Tom come back.
Your pillow is wet because you’re crying, the tears continued flowing as you covered your entire body with cover, nothing could be seen, all covered by the brown covers. Some of your hair is also damp, you can’t stop crying, is it too much to cried because your brother snapped at you? No it’s not because we’re twins we are supposed to understand one another’s feeling, but he just suddenly snapped, it hurts.
Just about when you thinking to tell Tom about cancelling the dinner, someone opened the door, you know it must be Tom. His hands sneaked around your hips and hug you while putting his head on the top of your head. He still can’t see you crying because he hasn’t opened the cover yet.
“Hm, you’re the only person I know who wasn’t used to England weather even though you life your entire life here” You don’t answer him, you don’t move, you just stay like that. “Warm enough?” Asked him, but you didn’t answer, you tried your best to stiffled a sob, but now you can’t. You sob until your shoulders shaking, you hiccuped for couple of times. “What’s wrong?”
Tom slowly lift the cover and found you were crying. He removed your tears with his hand, kissing your forehead then caressing your brown hair.
“What happened?” He asked once more, you still trying to hold your crying, and controls your breathing. “I was…….cold”
Tom looking at you attentively, waiting for your next words. “Then I search-” you cried once more, he tried to calm you down and somehow it worked. “I search for a socks”
“In Andrew’s room” you take a deep breath, then continue. “And he snapped at me told me to get out”
“You don’t know how it feels to get snapped by your twins” You continued crying and Tom still hugs you, your chest is hurt, he never act like that if he is in a bad mood or have a problem, it’s the first time you saw your twin like that.
“I’ll try to talk to him, alright?” Tom kissed you once more. “You should prepare yourself for the dinner”
“I just want to ask you to cancel the dinner”
“No, love. I’m sure he has a reason and he really wants to apologise to you” You huffed and cover your face once more. Tom still hugging you and kissing your covered neck. “Stop it”
“Tom!” He doesn’t stop, you can’t move because he still hugging you, you laugh and tell him to stop, but he didn’t. “Alright, you prepare for the dinner and I go talk to Andrew”
-
Tom knocks Andrew door, after he said ‘come in’ he opened the door. Andrew sighed and put his hands in the air. “I am extremely sorry, okay?”
“Well, tell that to your sister not me” Tom says while closing the door and walking through Andrew. He is sitting on the edge of his bed, looking really depressed. Andrew and Andrea is a twin, so of course they looked alike, both of them has a brown eyes and hair. With pale face, Andrew has a curly hair while Andrea has a wavy hair The difference is the height, Andrew is far more taller than Andrea, though not as tall as Tom.
“What happened? You have some problem? Or?”
“I am going to explain, listen to me carefully until the end, okay?” Tom just nodded. He thought he has to persuade him to explain about what happened.
“So, you know on the birthday party last week she gives me a present, but I didn’t” Tom nodded.
“And trust me I already have my present, but there’s something happened so I can’t give it to her on the birthday party, and until now I continue to postpone the dinner because the present it’s not arrived yet, but today it is and I put it on the drawer where she is looking for a socks”
“I was panicked when she opened it, so uhh you know”
“Still, you should explained it to her, I’m sure she will understand. You also have a present” Tom shrugged. “I thought you’re going to punch me”
“No, Andrea wasn’t going to like that” Tom laugh and he sits beside Andrew. “She said you never act like that before”
“Yeah, if we mad at each other we just don’t talk, that’s all” Andrew sighed, he is guilty for what he has done to his twin sister. “You should prepare for the dinner” Tom pat his shoulder and smile at him, then go out from the bathroom.
“
In your family’s birthday dinner, there won’t be fancy dresses, there only be a fancy food. Everyone just wearing their shirts, you only wear sweaters because it is cold with a pajama. Your father sits on your left side, Tom is beside you. In front of you is Andrew, and beside Andrew is your mother. You look anywhere but Andrew and talking like usual, but when Andrew talks you shut your mouth.
There are so many delicious foods, on the table there are everyone’s favourite food. Start from your favorite fish from the restaurant near the bridge until your mother’s favourite soup from the restaurant near Andrew’s boarding house. You continued talking while eating your food. You can feel Andrew eyes on you, but you ignored him.
“Now it’s time for the cake!” Your mom hold a cheesecake for both of you. You don’t feel like blowing candles when you are mad at him. He can sense your unwillingness too, so he started to talk to you. “I know you’re mad at me”
You are looking at Tom, he smiled encouraging you. “I am so sorry for that, you know on the birthday party last week I haven’t given you present, I already ordered it, but something happened, so I can’t give them last week, that’s why I keep postponing the dinner because The present wasn’t arrived yet, but today it is”
You are looking at your twin now, he looked really guilty. “An I hide it on the socks drawer so when you opened it I was so panicked”
“And I’m so sorry” he smiled at you, his eyes searching yours, search for forgiveness. “It’s okay” you said as you smiled at him.
“This is your present” he handed a small box to you, when you opened it, it’s a rose gold bracelet with leafs around it.
“It is a real diamond you better not lose it”
“Thank you!”
“I designed it myself so you won’t find anything like that, basically it’s a limited edition!” He says it proudly, you just laugh at your brother. “I’m thinking about giving you a necklace but you have one from Tom and if you wear two necklace that’s going to be weird, I want to give you a ring, but I don’t want to marry you, so I give you a bracelet”
You laughing at the marry part, you are so happy you’re finally make up with your twin brother. “Now, you both can blow job the candles”
“MOM!” You and your brother said in unison, Tom and your father laughed loudly, following by you, Andrew, and your mother. “Right, I mean blow out” You and Andrew blow the candles then eat the cake.
Andrew helped you putting the bracelet, it fits perfectly on your wrist. “I am going to borrow you ny sweater too tonight as a peace offering, but you already have one”
“No, actually I still accept your purple sweater” you always mocking him looking like a woman for wearing his purple sweater, actually he didn’t, but you just want to have his purple sweater because it’s cute.
“Ah, how about I borrow you my purple sweater?” You nodded eagerly. He smiled and you and your family continued eating while talking and joking.
-
You and Tom already get in to your room, Tom is in the bathroom and you already on the bed. Someone knocked your door, you said ‘come in’ it’s Andrew.
“Hi” he sits on the corner of the bed and give you his purple sweater.
“Thank you!”
Tom suddenly come out from the bathroom, you and Andrew looking at him. “Thank god you fully clothed!”
“Andrew!” You hit his shoulder as he laughed. “I was about to, what brings you here?”
Andrew made a disgusted face “I just borrow her my purple sweater”
“Give” you said.
“Alright give” you shocked and hug him instantly. “Thank you! Thank you!” Andrew hugs you back smiling, he would give everything to make his sister happy again. Tom hugs you from behind, so you’re sandwiched between Andrew and Tom. “I am here too you know”
The three of you laughing and stayed like that for a while. “This is so warm” you said and Tom let go of his hug. “Alright, I’m sorry to tell you this but get out Andrew” he pried Andrew hands of your waist.
“I need a time with my wife” Tom said and push Andrew through the door, Andrew muttered things about ‘horny old man’ and said goodnight to his sister.
You put the sweater in one of the drawer and lay your body on the bed. “I can see you’re happy” you nodded and hug Tom. “Of course I am”
“I miss you” Tom kisses you all over your face, you laughing. “I know where this is going”
“This is my parents house” you said as he keep kissing you, your forehead, eyes, cheek, and now your lips. “Andrew’s room is right beside me” he kissed you wrist where the bracelet is.
“I already asked him to sleep onthe guest room downstairs” you looked at him unbelievably. “You didn’t”
“I did”
“Tom” you covered your face, embarrassed. “Just don’t get too loud”
“It is you who usually get loud” Tom smirks as you slapped his shoulder.

Livin’ On a Prayer (Auston Matthews)
Word count: 1495
Warnings: Kind of a sex scene
Author’s note: This wasn’t requested, but I had the idea for it when Bon Jovi came on Throwback Thursday while I was driving to work last week. My first attempt at something even remotely coming close to smut. Let me know what you think!
You absolutely adored the Matthews family. Between the constant dry heat of Scottsdale, a vastly different climate than Toronto, Auston’s sisters always finding the time to tease him and tell you embarrassing stories about him and Ema trying to include you, the hopeless cook who once managed to actually burn water, in the Matthews family tradition of cooking large meals together, Auston’s family quickly became another family to you, in addition to your actual family and the Leafs family. Even though you loved all of the Matthews, you missed your hometown. After a really nice month in Arizona at the conclusion of the season, you were more than ready to show Auston where you had grown up.
Turns out, your family loves Auston just as much as Auston’s family loves you, if not more so. They found your quiet giant of a boyfriend incredibly endearing. Even your dad, the man that was the reason that none of your friends wanted to go to your house in high school, wasn’t his intimidating self around Auston. Even though your family was more than welcoming they, much like Auston’s family, are very overbearing to two people who really just enjoy the company of each other.
Today, you decide to take Auston sightseeing as a pseudo-date. Although Auston is the one that handles driving in the busy cities of Scottsdale and Toronto, you decide to take the wheel for this tour, the numerous back roads getting confusing for even a local. As you back out of the driveway, Auston looks at the interior of the car.
“Is this your car from high school?” He asks, lips twitching as he takes in the odd shoe, school sweatshirt, sports gear and school spirit items that you had abandoned the day you graduated.
“It is! She was supposed to be passed down from kid to kid, but they all get rides from their friends. My baby needs some love.” You give the dashboard a loving pat as you coast down the street. Auston continues to inspect your car.
“Does this thing even have an aux cord?”
“Unfortunately, no.” Auston laughs. “Trust me, all of my friends used to make fun of me for it, I don’t need my boyfriend to do the same thing.”
“Don’t worry, I have nothing against your car.”
“I sure hope not. Y’know, we have coyotes out here, and if I were to have to leave you on the side of the road because my car got offended by you, I would be a little worried for you.” Auston looks at you, a huge grin on his face.
“Did you just threaten me, (Y/N)?” You shrug, trying to fight a smile off of your face. As the radio plays quietly in the background, you suddenly come to a realization.
“It’s Thursday!” You start to fiddle with the radio, trying to find the right station.
“I’m glad you have your days memorized. Why is Thursday so important?”
“The big radio station in town does a Throwback Thursday, where they take requests and play a bunch of songs from the 80s and 90s! This was our favorite day of the week; we would always ride to school and sing all of the old songs at the tops of our lungs.” You smile, referencing your siblings. Finally, you remember the radio station and get the radio tuned, laughing triumphantly as the music of David Bowie spills out from the speakers. Auston can’t help but to smile at your enthusiasm for Throwback Thursday.
“I’ve never heard of a station doing this before.”
“Perks of living in a small town, I guess.” As you cruise down the interstate, you entertain Auston with your renditions of the Backstreet Boys, Wilson Phillips, Salt N’ Peppa, En Vogue and Madonna. You’re about to speak when the beginning strains of a familiar song fill your ears. Auston groans as you squeal and lightly smack his arm, making sure that he hears.
“Why this song?”
“Well well well, guess they know who’s in town?” Bon Jovi begins to sing and you join in, nearly yelling the lyrics and dancing in your seat. “‘It doesn’t make a difference if we make it or not. We’ve got each other,’” You grab Auston’s unwilling hand and swing it. “‘And that’s a lot. For love, we’ll give it a shot!’”
“Don’t do this to me, babe.” You groan and pout.
“Auston, please? You know you wanna. I know that I’m no Mitch, but I’m still pretty fun to sing with.” Auston says nothing so you decide to drop it, changing lanes and getting back into the song. “Whoa, we’re halfway there, WHOA, LIVIN’ ON A PRAYER, take my hand and we’ll make it I swear-”
“Whoa, livin’ on a prayer!” You’re sitting at a stoplight off of the interstate, so you completely justify taking your eyes off of the road and smiling widely at Auston, giggles leaving your lips. The look on Auston’s face, a grimace at the fact that he actually just sang the song that made him into a meme, turns your giggles into full-on laughs, a snort escaping as you clasp your hand over your mouth. At that sound, Auston bursts into laughter.
“I-can’t-believe-you-snorted!” Auston gasps out, sending you into another bout of laughs. A car angrily honks behind you, causing you to jump. You turn and sheepishly wave as you start to drive, pulling into a parking lot so that you don’t crash due to your boyfriend still laughing.
“I’m so mad that you just caused some guy to get angry at me because you made fun of my laughter.” You feign anger at the whole situation before miserably failing, a smile gracing your features.
“I’m sorry (Y/N), I just haven’t heard you snort from laughter in a while.” You both quiet as Auston stares at you, moving a stray piece of hair out of your eyes. “My family stole you away from me the whole time we were in Arizona.”
“And my family’s been stealing you from me too.” You realize. “I miss these little moments, Aus. I like it when it’s just the two of us.”
“How do I miss someone that I haven’t been apart from in over a month?” He asks, almost to himself.
“I miss you too.” His lips are on yours in a matter of milliseconds, hands becoming tangled in each other as you clamber over the center console, straddling Auston’s lap.
“I feel like I haven’t touched you in ages.” Auston mutters against your skin, nipping at your neck as you moan out his name.
“Y’know, I never did get to have sex in this car.” You breathe out, testing the waters. Auston pulls away, smirking at you as his eyes darken.
“Well then, I guess we’ll have to change that.” He immediately lifts you up, making it seem almost effortless as he tosses you into the back seat, climbing in after you. Auston’s hands immediately go for your breasts while he goes to work sucking a hickey on your neck. Your mouth falls open as you attempt to speak, not being able to force any words out. Your hand moves to palm Auston’s bulge as he groans through clenched teeth.
“Oh God, (Y/N), the things you do to me.” You pull his face back down to yours in a searing kiss. As articles of clothing are thrown all over your car, you thank your lucky stars that you managed to pull into an abandoned parking lot. Your heavy breathing mixes with Auston’s, the only sounds in your car besides the sound of the radio, still playing throwback music.
After an adventurous afternoon that consisted of absolutely no sightseeing (“except for that gorgeous body of yours.”), you and Auston make it back to your family home. After spending 20 minutes attempting to find your phone, which you realize you left on the charger in your room all along, you finally check your phone. You’re surprised to see plenty of messages; normally, you only ever get texts from Auston. Instead, Sydney, Steph, Mitch, Freddie and plenty of others have all left you texts about how good of a singer you are. You whip your head up to Auston, who attempts to look nonchalant, as you immediately scroll to Instagram. On both his story and as an actual post is a video of you singing and dancing exuberantly to ‘Livin’ On a Prayer.’ Every so often, Auston switches the screen back to his face, where he’s desperately trying not to laugh.
“Someone’s ready for hockey season to start #GoLeafsGo” is the caption that accompanies the video.
“Now everyone knows how terrible of a singer I am!” You groan, cheeks going red. Auston pulls you onto his lap, kissing your nose.
“Yeah, but they also know that I have the most supportive girlfriend in the world.” Auston starts to kiss you again.
“I’m never going to get to take you sightseeing.”

Hi! May I request a fic? Levi's tea stash was missing. He suspected Hanji but it was not her. They investigate the mystery of missing tea together. Maybe during canonverse? But it's totally up to you.
sorry it took a bit, I was challenged by your request yet at the same time had fun! I had to search for animals, tea, and the SNK Map in order to do this so I hope you like it! :D (PS. I snooped over your profile first because your doe of Levihan makes me high -why it took a while as well lol-)
Sleuthing for Lavender (LeviHan - Missing Tea)
Theme: Missing Tea and Detective
Rating: PG
Warning: Has curse words
It was one of the nights when Levi could not get any sleep more than two to three hours. He had been groggily padding through the kitchen, rubbing his eyes, and maneuvering through the dark. He had only hoped for one thing, his Lavender White tea which keeps him at bay during nights like these.
That specific kind of tea had been his favorite for the past three months. He had purchased it in Yalkell -the western bait town of wall Sina- when he had accompanied Erwin for a meeting with Darius Zackley a while back. He immediately knew he had to taste the tea after smelling the aroma of the tea leaves in the market. Although he lost a month’s worth of money to the damn overpriced merchant, he had no regrets once the sleepless nights came and the tea gave him adequate company.
He had tiptoed to open the highest cupboard and jumped only to reach dust which made him sneeze for a bit. He could get the jar even if his eyes were closed the day before, three days before, and a week before, and had left the jar in the same place where he’d put it always, so why was he getting nothing? The dust is another issue he took note of, he was sure to make someone clean it as soon as day breaks.
He ‘tsked’ and dragged a stool beside the counter so he could get a better look of the wooden cupboard. It had been placed there for his convenience according to Erwin’s order but he would not let anyone see that he was using it of course.
His eyes widened in horror as he saw the webs and molds that formed inside the cabinet from not being cleaned properly. As if it wasn’t enough for him to see his greatest cleaning fears, his expensive tea was also gone.
His rage slowly rose up to him, determination firing up as well to find the culprit. No one would dare steal the Corporal’s tea. They knew they’d face hell if they touched any of his personal belongings, that’s why he was confident enough to leave a good deal of tea in the public kitchen. The jar was still enough to brew eight pots worth of tea, and he had to find it, for the sake of his solitude during the dark of the night.
He marched to the only culprit he thought of, the one who could also stay up late in the night and possibly use leaves for her personal benefit. He wasn’t sure if tea could bear any fruit to an experiment but if there is a person that could have defied him, it would be her.
“Nice to see you here Levi. Missed me?” she smiled at him although her eyes were slowly drooping from sleepiness. He hoisted her up the chair, grabbing her collar as she raised her hands up in retreat.
“Did you fucking steal my tea?” he asked her, clearly upset and angry at the situation.
“Tea has many benefits, it contains antioxidants, helps with weight loss and actually has the possibility to help with cancer-” his grip tightened which she fastly read as to stop blabbering about facts. “-but no, I did not steal your tea. You know I prefer coffee more than tea” he sighed and let her go.
“Better be sure you did not use my damn tea for one of your shitty experiments” he growled.
“As much as I would like to test it out, we all know Sawney, Bean, or any other titan has no interest as well for other food or any other living thing except humans” His frown started to be more prominent, as well as the lines that formed on his forehead from furrowing his eyebrows. “-but, I could help you find the culprit! Sleuthing would be fun at midnight” she clapped her hands in excitement.
“No” he responded immediately.
“Oh come on Levi! I need to take off my mind from my work for a bit so let me help please!” she was using her eyes again he thought. It did not look cute, but she knew he could not resist her eyes. Her big, beautiful, brown eyes.
“Tch. I could use that huge ass brain of your anyway” he crossed his arms on his chest while Hanji celebrated for a bit in front of him.
“Now lead me to the site of the crime!” she commanded.
“This is surprisingly clean” she announced while rummaging through the cupboard.
“clean for someone shitty like you” he scowled.
“No, what I mean was it was devoid of any trace of the culprit” she said closing the wooden cabinet doors with a bang which made him wince. “Whoever the culprit was is a master. There were no other finger prints except for the ones you left in the dust” she explained looking downwards.
“What the fuck?!” Levi growled in surprise as Hanji suddenly dropped to the floor. “Oi shitty glasses! Are you just shitting me?!” he hissed.
“Not at all. I’m trying to spot if he at least left foot prints or something we can use” She stood up twiddling a piece of Pine tree leaf between her thumb and index finger. “Behold our first clue!” she looked at the leaf menacingly.
“This isn’t going to help us four eyes” he groaned snatching the leaf from her.
“Oh it is Levi! trust me” she gave him an assuring smile. “Based on the amount of dirt this leaf has, it had been carried on the foot of the culprit, straight from the forrest which holds pine trees-” He suddenly felt the urge to sanitize his hand after hearing that the leaf he held could have collected more than a thousand bacteria down the road. “-The nearest here is the east of the wall near Hermina”
“We’d have to take a horse going there” he groaned.
“Not if the culprit is close by-” she looked closer down the crevices of the leaf. She sled her fingers through, and collected a bit of dirt sample before feeling it between her fingers. “If you haven’t noticed, it rained for a bit approximately about an hour and a half ago. The dirt is not yet fully dried and crusty, meaning the culprit had only been here about twenty to thirty minutes ago”
She started to run and he followed her, silently complaining to himself why he let the mad woman join him in finding the tea thief. She was making her way to the main door of the old HQ where he was sure that mud would greet them. He hated the thought of his boots getting soiled, for all they know, it could’ve been a subordinate who decided to steal his tea as revenge for getting kicks square in the face. It could have been Eren, but that kid respected him way too much. It could have been Oluo as well, if he was that determined to become a second Levi.
“Our second clue!” she declared making him snap out of his thoughts. He was greeted by patterned mud, and the lid of his beloved jar of tea laying in the dirt.
“Looks like some huge ass dog heading for some huge ass trees” he groaned.
“Judging by the paws, it could be a huge ass dog, but no dog would be that big. Perhaps an oversized wolf, a mountain lion, or a leopard, but I know no leopards within the area-” she rambled again.
“Whatever it was, I just want my tea back” determined, he stepped on the semi- dry land and headed for the stables. Hanji followed him, skipping and humming as they saddles their horses and prepared to leave.
He lead their ride through the forest, following the paw prints that were left behind by the culprit. He silently prayed that the tea would still be intact by the time they reach its hiding place. If Hanji was correct, the creature would not be able to reach its home by Hermina and do whatever it wanted to do with his tea leaves unless it decides to take a stop over.
Survey corps issued horses were damn fast and he was thankful for it. He had an ounce of hope that they would save his tea in time before it would be devoured by the animal. He wasn’t going to loose a month’s worth of pay as a soldier to it. Heck, Corporal Levi, Humanity’s Strongest Soldier never lost to titans. He certainly would not want to get beaten up by some huge ass dog.
“Hold it Levi!” he halted his horse as Hanji set down the land on foot, mud slugging her boots instantly making him cringe at the sigh of it.
“Oi! Where do you think you’re going shitty glasses?” he asked as she made her way through the bushes. Although he did not want another collective of mud on his own shoes, he followed her, knowing she would risk dying to find out anything and everything.
“The mud prints stopped, and I think I’ve got our third clue” She whispered to him.
“What the fuck made you think that?”
“Shh” she hushed him, pointing to what appears to be ground tea leaves left in the bush.
The familiar aroma soon rose to his senses as if it was his first time finding them in the market of Yalkell. She was right, they were near the culprit. He had brought out the small knife he had always kept hidden on a belt inside his boots. It was his favorite blade, the one he was taught to fight with, the one he kept well ever since he was a kid. It was his trusty partner, and he hoped it will also get him back his tea.
“I’m excited to know what it is” she muffled out a cry of excitement and went ahead of Levi.
“Oi! get back here!” he half yelled, half whispered following her right away.
He swung his knife left and right, trying to avoid the branches that Hanji would get out of her way and eventually swing back to his way. Although annoyed, he did his best, dodging and chopping his way up the forest so he could make sure her excitement wouldn’t kill her. She said she would like to take her mind off of her current work, yet the current fiasco had her endangered as well. As much as he wanted to get his tea back soon, he wouldn’t want to bring back the jar, and a dead body all together.
“Oh my- Oh!” She slapped her hands over her mouth while she giggled. She faced him with so much excitement and pointed to an old hollow tree where a furr covered beast laid.
The smell of Lavender White Tea became stronger when the wind blew. He whipped his head to the direction of the scent and found the jar being hugged by the creature. He groaned knowing it would be a pain in the ass to get it back.
“Its a bear! I should’ve known it was! They like good smelling things and the paws!” she exclaimed while he gave her a death glare because of how loud she was. The beast stirred in its sleep and groaned, making the duo freeze and almost, not breathe at all. The bear would be a good 5'8-6 feet, making it taller than Levi, and even Hanji.
He whipped his knife out, gripping it tighter and positioning it so he could defend the both of them. He was sure he could kill the bear, and he would do it the moment it made a move on trying to devour them. He had not want to be eaten by a titan when he joined the Survey Corps, and he most certainly did not want ‘eaten by a bear’ to be written in his tomb stone either.
“Levi don’t” Hanji pleaded, placing her hand over his shoulder.
“Cut the crap shitty glasses, I just want my tea back” he groaned.
“I’ll just but you more” she smiled at him while his eyebrows furrowed even more.
“You tell me we came all this fucking way only to do the job not even half assed? You’ve got to be shitting me right?” He hissed.
“But the population of these things have dropped ever since Wall Maria was run over by titans. It is not advisable to hunt them especially that they are sometimes useful” she explained. “Just please, lets turn back. I’ll buy you the tea tomorrow I promise” she used the eyes again, her big, bright, doe eyes he could not resist.
He retreated the knife back to where it belonged and sighed.
“Fine. But I warn you that the tea costs more than you can shit”
“Then I guess I’d have to crap more”
“Levi!” he caught the canvass cloth she threw over to him as soon as she unmounted her horse. She should have been back with her squad from Trost awhile back, but he had been informed that she went to get an errand. He had waited for her to arrive since then and alas after two hours, she returned.
The cloth seemed heavy in his hands, until he noticed it had a small string tied on top. He unveiled the wrapper to be greeted by the tea he longed for since midnight.
“Sorry it took so long. I still had to cry for my babies in Trost” she explained.
“Begged them to help you crap for my tea?” he asked.
“Once again Levi, titans don’t defecate. But I’ve already got enough shit up my glasses” she laughed.
“Shitty glasses” he hummed.

Episodes 11-13
Brock confuses a piece of grass for a bug just to make Misty freak out.
Ah shit, Charmander, not this episode. The feels are coming back already.
Why does Misty keep trying to catch non-water Pokemon? These people and their elemental ethics.
The entirety of Pikachu trying to explain what Charmander said pisses me off. Every bit of it. How does Ash speak Pikachu but not Charmander, and why does he have to have the last bit of everything Pikachu relays to him be done in charades? How was Charmander caught at all if he belonged to another trainer? Don't Pokeballs just bounce off Pokemon owned by others?
Fucking Charmander in the rain with the leaf over it's flame, come on heart, we can survive another break.
How does this shitty english accented Damien have so many Pokemon with him? I wish I could have more than 6 at a time. He has like 16.
Damien is such a dick to Pokemon, how did Charmanader ever like him in the first place?
Is there Pokemon abuse laws in this universe? There should be if not.
Pokemon aren't supposed to be used in personal fights, ruining all of my rival battles in every video game so far. Sorry about that Dickbutt (my rival of course).
Misty in the span of one sentence says that this is dangerous and they shouldn't be doing it and then follows that up with a wink and "Gotta help a Pokemon in need." Everyone is so fucking wishywashy in this show.
Spearow are just real dicks.
Damien and his gang leave the Pokecenter in the middle of the night during a pretty bad storm cementing my speculations on his intelligence.
Ash without a hat ruins my headcanon.
Charmander was in a glass rehibilation thing last we saw him, but somehow opened a window and bailed during the night.
Brock gives more of a shit about Charmander than Ash, but he ends up with that shitty Zubat. I hate that thing.
Jesse and James syncing for their motto was a little off and it bothered me much more than I anticipated it would.
More pitfalls.
The giant drill machine has legs and hides behind a thin tree. This works.
Team Rocket calls themselves geniuses for digging a hole. For the second time.
This balloon bazooka thing just weirds me out. It somehow followed Pikachu, moved super slow but caught it still, and somehow the balloon absorbed Pikachu and then shrank to a fourth it's normal size.
Charmander keeps doing the gimme hands and it's adorable.
Charmander flamethrowers the group but doesn't melt the rubber balloon to Pikachu's flesh, disfiguring it for life.
Damien left in the middle of the night but ends up where Ash and co. are at the most coincidental time.
Damien is still Charmander's trainer, can Pokemon just choose to release themselves if they dislike their trainers too much? Did Ash steal Charmander?
Not gonna lie, Charmander is the most hype part of the series so far for nostalgia reasons. That dude is a hero.
That makes pitfall number 3 for the series.
HOLD THE FUCKING PHONE, SQUIRTLE SQUAD
Brock asks a bunch of Squirtle who they are like they're gonna answer him in something other than "Squirtle"
Second to the right Squirtle gave his life for the horde.
Old Western shootout theme is dope, no lie.
Can Jenny stop her bike in anyway other than a sliding drift?
Jenny and Joy are the laziest shits animators could do, but I love it.
"They're not troublemakers they're just misguided" excuse for the Squirtle Squad.
Jesse's rant about world domination being greater than lunch is ended with her stomach proving her wrong.
None of these sunglasses should be able to stay on the Squirtle's faces.
Pitfall number 4.
Terrible translation about jelly doughnuts meme.
So like, Meowth can speak to Pokemon in human speech and they understand him just fine? This does nothing to help my understanding of interspecies conversations that take place in this show.
Pikachu Thundershocks everything but it's target.
Rapid Spin, not a Gen 1 move, Squirtle is cheating.
Oh God, another Goldeen.
This Goldeen is pissed.
Just fucks Pikachu up out of the blue.
Where did the Squirtle Squad get all this rope?
Pikachu requires specifically Super Potion to heal from the Goldeen attack. Nothing else will suffice.
Where did the Squirtle Squad get purple hair dye, and WHY do they have purple hair dye?
You can tell someone is doing something important by the way they fall when doing normal activities in this show.
Ash's upper body strength is really impressive for a 10 year old.
ANOTHER GOLDEEN
Gary mothafuckin Oak, ladies and gentlemen.
Jesse pulls a bazooka on the people in the shop. A bazooka.
The bazooka fire cherry blossom petals?
So many guns in this episode but didn't they ban a later episode for having guns in it? What makes these guns okay? Is it the cherry blossom bazooka?
Jenny knows a secret passageway to the hidden cave where the Squirtle Squad stays?
Charmander's voice is the best.
The end of the secret passageway was blocked by a rock so how did Jenny even know about this passageway to begin with or that it would lead there? I'm so confused.
Purple hair dye was just a prank bro.
Squirtle fell over and it can't get up.
Ash had two literal bombs thrown on him and just gets his clothes dirty.
Squirtle going ham and picking Ash up over it's head while crying made me legitimately laugh.
Even Team Rocket doesn't understand how Ash and Squirtle got from the cave entrance to the top of the cliffs.
Smokey was wrong, only the Squirtle Squad could put out forest fires.
Ash has gotten so many freebies in his journey so far. 4 of his 6 Pokemon just kind of rolled with him, 1 of the other 2 was Caterpie so who counts that. Two free badges on top of that?
I fear I'll memorize the PokeRap by the end of this.
The very next episode actually just rails Ash for all the freebies he's gotten. Dope.
Krabby just foaming at the mouth always cracks me up.
Ash tries to swordfight Krabby with a stick to weaken it instead using any Pokemon.
It works.
Why did Damien's excess Pokemon not phase away like Krabby did?
Why in the world was there a random cut to Oak making ramen thrown in lol
Brock gets them into the lighthouse by offering to make bacon cheeseburgers for the guy running it.
Bellsprout phone makes me jealous I don't have a Bellsprout phone.
So much random ass tofu in this episode.
Of course Gary caught a Krabby too that's three times bigger than Ash's.
More mouth foaming, love it.
OH SHIT, THIS IS BILL'S LIGHTHOUSE? HOW DID I NOT REALIZE THIS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER?
Bill just chills in the best Kabuto cosplay of all time.
I want to see Jesse and James do their random motto and movements from someone else's point of view.
The acoustics in this lighthouse are stunning.
So Dragonite is the Pokemon Bill was referring to being the last of it's kind but that is prove to be untrue. Is this a diffent kind of Dragonite or Pokemon?
This is also legitimately one of the most vivid memories I have of the original series, watching Godzillanite come out of the water.
Second size matters joke made in this children's show.
Godzillanite knows Bill isn't the one who fucked with him but leaves anway, leaving it all alone again.
Dragonite cloud doesn't help not make me mad that they never come back to Godzillanite in a future episode.
