Give me some headcanons on Euclydian biology, and how Steve deviates from a normal shape.

Also. in the Lunchtime comic, Bill can make Steve a sandwich, but in "The Nibling" he still needs to possess Ford. Did he take Steve into the mindscape to feed him or what?

Ooo there is a banger post on spec Euclidean biology, it's very cool. I'm not using everything from them, more general inspo, but they have some real solid ideas!

My main Euclidean spec bio headcannon is that they eat transitional metal (Bill prefers nibbling on gold) to strength their exoskeletons through a kind of biomineralization process

EDIT- forgot to say, can't remember if this a common headcanon or not, but I consider Euclideans carnivorous by nature with teeth that continuously regrow (like a shark). Their ancestors were vicious predators. Generally, modern Euclideans eat a more omnivore-style diet, but it's still considered sweet to catch and share your own prey.

As for Pyramid Steve being different-

He's chunkier. I don't always draw it, but he's got thicker limbs and is overall more of an actual pyramid than a triangle

he's REALLY brightly coloured

normal Euclideans have limbs that darken as they age and grey as they reach old age; Steve's will stay blue

Steve shares Ford's eye colour- Euclideans typically have black pupils

Steve is more susceptible to disease due to the massive number of genetic anomalies he has as both a hybrid of two radical different creatures AND as the child of two parents, each with their own anomalies. He's getting all the vaccines!

Birth defect 1: Steve shares Ford's polydactyly - 6 toes on each foot! Euclideans only have four digits per limb, humans only have five digits per limb

Birth defect 2: Steve shares Bill's big, central eye - a Euclidean eye should be on the side, not in the centre

Birth defect 3: Steve has bilateral amelia of the upper limbs - he doesn't have arms - generally both Euclideans and humans have two arms and two legs

Steve has red glittery blood - he gets the metallic part from Bill and the red from Ford

More on the metal munching- Steve needs copper, since humans also need copper to function properly. He doesn't need a lot, but much like sugar, it's very tasty

Steve has powers similar to but not necessarily the same powers as Bill. To Be Revealed! Powers aren't normal for Euclideans

maybe i’m reading WAY too into this but to me The Spot personifies how it feels as a scientist to not be taken seriously by the public. Miles made him - a total life-ruining disaster - and when Spot tries to express his anger and warn of the upcoming destruction, Miles continues to laugh him off and ignore him as “not a real threat”. it really reminds me of the way politicians and persons in power have treated warnings about climate change and impending scientific dangers that they themselves caused. with flippant ignorance.

it’s so cool to see an evil scientist that isn’t purely suave or cold - Spot is passionate and talks too much and is genuinely excited about what he’s able to achieve and discover, but he’s also furious at being pushed aside. his experiences really resonate with me! imagine you discover all this destructive power that you (society) have obtained, and when you warn people of the impending consequences they laugh in your face!

anyways, it’s cathartic to see a scientist go “oh, you think this is just the problem of the week? well, don’t say i didn’t warn you of the consequences”

Last night I had an Into/Across the Spider-verse dream. Almost everything was how it was in the movies and even the scenes had different visual styles to it. The only difference was Gwen Stacy had both parents and they were botanists and super nerdy, and her dad was Fred Armisen so he was extra awkward and nerdy.

Gwen and Miles were in a relationship so they were able to turn his closet door into a dimensional portal so they could visit each other whenever they wanted. But Gwen’s parents stumble upon her closet portal so they get sucked into Miles’ universe and all of them are freaking out, including Miles’ parents who are like “WHO THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE AND WHY ARE YOU HIDING IN OUR SON’S CLOSET?!”

So Miles and Gwen quickly try to calm the situation but not reveal that the Stacy’s have accidentally jumped to a different universe, so they’re like “Oh this is a science project we are doing at Visions Academy. It’s a teleporter. Teleportation saves so much time and money, and it’s better for the environment because you’re not taking a car or bus!”

And Rio and Jeff believe them but they’re still pissed that there’s a teleporter for their son’s girlfriend to travel directly to his bedroom. So Rio’s like “Well since everyone’s here, let’s all stay for dinner and get to know who our children are dating and who raised them.”

But meanwhile Fred Armisen is suspicious of this place and he’s poking his head around and at one point he looks terrified and Mrs. Stacy is like “What’s wrong?”

And he says “The plants. The plants aren’t structurally the same. Something’s wrong!” So he and his wife make a beeline for the closet to try and get back home because he doesn’t know how but he knows they’re not in the right world.

You know what really strikes me about the Miles G test movement is that it's actually the first and only action sequence in the trilogy that isn't a fight. Anytime we see characters use their weapons or webshooters or motorcycles, it's to attack someone or something but we don’t even see Miles use the Prowler claws and the only time he uses his gadgets is to slow his pursuers down.

His whole thing is about getting what you need and avoiding the fight. Not taking down the villain of the week.

I'm guessing, the celestial family doesn't actually remember their birthdays, considering we've never seen anyone celebrate.

It's unlikely for anyone to remember. Neither Sun nor Moon were in the right headspace to really pay attention to it. Not to forget, they wouldn't discover them for a while, so they logically have no idea of the exact date! Lunar themself, on the other hand, has a complicated relationship with time in general, ever since their death!

Earth wouldn't know either, if no one told her.

What if Eclipse remembered? Not the exact event, per say, just this…itch,in the back of his mind, that something happened today? Something important?

Finally finished my anniversary piece, even if it's a couple days late :')

The 14th of January was mine and Heinz' third anniversary! He's been with me since 2021 and seriously, he's made my life so much better. Things haven't always been easy, but imagining that he's by my side helps me so much whenever I'm feeling down or stressed. Falling for him took me completely by surprise, and I never expected my love for him to grow so strong, but here we are. I love all my f/os, but he still earns a special place among them. He's my everything and my heart belongs to him❤️

I hope I can draw more of him and me/Selina in the coming year, since I actually have so many ideas! I want to show more of their story, I want to draw funny and cute moments between them, I want them to be happy and completely and utterly infatuated with each other. Here's hoping for many more good memories together <3
