Okay, okay, so today’s work day is a little slow, so I think I can sneak something out

Okay, so this one is Galrund (literally came up with his name on the spot while making him) and he’s my Strength/Skill build, with just a dash of Arcane to give the Boom Hammer that extra kick.

Left Hand Weapon is usually Cannon, but I also have the Machine Gun on back up. Needless to say, he’s a Powder Keg through and through, and is ALWAYS having fun with explosives and…little else.

I made a post awhile ago that was along the lines of “Guy who isn’t scared by the Horrors because he’s just so fucking stupid” and that was referencing him ⬆️. I’m pretty sure all the explosions he’s been too close to did something to his brain, as he has a permanent concussion.

On the other end of the spectrum, we have Victoria:

She’s my Strength/Arcane build and mains the Tinitrus with the Flamesprayer and Rosmarinus as her Left Hand Weapons - all damage types covered

She’s the exact opposite of Galrund in that she is also not afraid of the Horrors, BUT because she knows EXACTLY what they are. She’s not impressed.

Fun fact: she was the first character out of my three who managed to kill the first Lycan in the clinic, AND was able to clear out everything in Central Yharnam up until Gascoigne - INCLUDING the cleric beast - without once having to go back to the Hunter’s Dream.

I have one other Hunter that’s a Skill/Bloodtinge build, but I’m not too fond of his look so I might just remake him. That said, he’s the one who forced me to get good at the game through parries and visceral attacks, so I want to redo him to do him justice.

I’ve arrived in Cathedral Ward! I love cathedral aesthetics as is, and this game is full of good aesthetics, so needless to say, its gorgeous.... though for some reason it also freaks me out the most, I can’t help but feel I’m going to run into something terrifying, especially when in enclosed spaces....

I found the Hunter’s set right away, so now I can run around with a fancy coat, top hat, and cane, and this is apparently suitable attire for fighting beasts? Not that I’m complaining.... I bought the saw spear too, but I really love my cane, so I’ve been sticking with it.

I went back to talk with my friend Gilbert, and he gave me the flamesprayer, though it sounds like he’s going to die soon........ though he seems happy with his life, and he hasn’t turned into a beast but..... I don’t want him gone

I then wandered into Old Yharnam after ignoring a sign saying hunters not wanted, and getting called out for entering..... oh but this guy was serious and started trying to GUN ME DOWN WITH A GODDAMN GATLING GUN??!!! He doesn’t seem like a bad guy or anything, but UH I wasn’t expecting that.... I made it to his tower, and died fighting him, and was told you can befriend him, so I decided to ignore him for now, and continue onward, I got the shortcut back to the lantern, so next, more exploring I suppose!

tfw ebrietas, daughter of the cosmos (and also summoner of some BADASS ARCANE SHIT) is seen kneeling in grief at THE ALTAR OF DESPAIR, in front of the desiccated body of rom and part of her boss theme says something akin to “why is it you cry, beautiful?”, which is similar to the last line in the description of the rosmarinus, a flamesprayer that does arcane damage: oh fair maiden, why is it that you weep?

does that mean the choir sing that song to her? since they keep her at the bottom of the astral clocktower? idk

all i know is blob momther makes me so incredibly sad. she wasn’t hurting anyone :( she was abandoned and imprisoned and i made her fight for her life :( :( :(
