A future fic carcass I'll write when I write (after I finish 9 ungoing fics)
King Viserys dies at the wedding celebration of his daughter, Crown Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
No one else does.
I am a firm believer Otto and Viserys are the rot on the face of the House of the Dragon and without these two everything would be fine-ish.
Unfortunately, we need Vissy T for his kids to be born, so Viserys dies soon after Aemond is conceived. Sorry, Daeron, not this time.
Joffrey doesn't die because he doesn't manage to provoke Criston before the king dies.
Rhaenyra overrules his father's decision and marries Harwin Strong.
Their son Jacaerys Targaryen is the heir to the throne, Lucerys Targaryen is the heir to Harrenhal.
Daemon marries Laena and lives at Dragonstone (Rhaenyra grants him that), their firstborn is the heir of Driftmark.
Laenor joins the Queensguard and is sent to Dragonstone to protect Prince Daemon (ha) and his future heirs.
Criston Cole becomes the Commander of City Watch while still retaining his white cloak (what? He did it in canon, can do it here).
Rhaenyra removes Tyland Lannister as the master of ships and appoints Corlys Velaryon (back).
When Baela and Rhaena are born, it is decided to betroth Prince Aegon and Lady Baela, making him future lord-consort of Driftmark (and successfully removing him out of succession of the iron throne).
When Jace is born, his and Helaena's betrothal is announced.
Baelon is born without an issue and the royal family meets at the celebration on Dragonstone, where Aemond claims Cannibal and loses an eye in the process.
(Kinslayer, everyone. It fits).
Afterwards Luke is sent as a ward to Harrenhal with his father. A huge ass scene ensures there Luke clings to Aemond and refuses to go.
Aegon makes a greasy comment and gets punched.
Both Aegon and Baela are sent as wards to Driftmark.
Lucerys still leaves.
Harrenhal doesn't burn bc even if Larys kills Harwin and Luke, there's still Lyonel and Joffrey in the equation. Lyonel keeps serving Queen Rhaenyra as her Hand.
Years later the royal family meets at the wedding celebration of Baela and Aegon, where Luke and Aemond behave very much like Rhaenyra and Daemon at Rhaenyra's not happened wedding.
Rhaenyra and Alicent clutch at their pearls, Rhaenyra suggests father died because of seeing something like that.
Daemon asks if she implies they killed Viserys, then asks where is Baelon.
Laena replies Baelon is playing knights with Joffrey.
Rhaenyra and Harwin Strong (no) have three more children, Aegon, Viserys and Visenya, all silver-haired like their mother (her uncle).
Laena is fine with it, they have a poly. Laena doesn't have more children because Baelon's birth was a ghasty one.
Baelon claims the Grey Ghost.
Otto is never called back to the capital because (suprise!) Rhaenyra didn't rush to kill her 3 y.o brother or the other one who was born after Viserys' death. Instead she marries Aegon off so he's no threat.
Aemond eventually joins the Queensguard and is appointed to the future lord of Harenhall.
Lucerys refuses to marry and appoints his brother Viserys as his heir, who marries Visenya. They have a very good life in Harrenhal.
The reason Luke skips over Joffrey is because Joffrey is always at the sea (with Baelon), and Aegon the Younger is bethrothed to Baela and Aegon the Elder' firstborn, Laena.
Everyone lives happily ever after, Otto gets to be the head of the house Hightower after he successfully plots against his own kin, since his blood is secured on the throne, if in unconventional for him way.
He once tried to manipulate Aegon, but was cut off sharply by Rhaenys and Corlys, who kind of adopted the boy as theirs.
Aegon enjoys wandering about Essos very much, he, of course, whores around, but he and Baela have an agreement. One of Baela's children is born from Alyn of Hull, but no one is any wiser, since everyone just thinks the child looks like her.
Jacaerys and Helaena have three kids, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera and then Maelor.
Jaehaera is oldest and so is the heir.
Oh, and Rhaena is happily married to Corwyn Cobray. They have a daughter, Rhaenys.
#hotd#hotd au#queen rhaenyra#hotd fanfic#fuck viserys#i will write it one day bc i have such a vivid image of the scenes such as: viserys' death. rhaenyra overruling her father's decision#explaining it and trying to mediate it so Corlys wouldn't start another war#'i thought it was in the tradition for the king or queen to marry their hand's child'#the greens' FACES at that#rhaenyra gathering Laenor and his entire fam and suggesting queensguard#“but then he won't be able to wed a woman. have a family-”#-exactly *Rhaenyra and Laenor lock gases. she nods. he nods.* -i accept#Aemond just fucking WANDERING AWAY TO CLAIM THE SCARIEST ASS DRAGON THAT IS THERE#the total panic then Laenor finds him and brings back with EYE LESS. (he almost got to the castle but fainted mid way)#corlys trying to push for baelon as the heir and laena&rhaenys being: “NO”#the unspoken kinship in the house of whoring around. Harwin being like “i support my wife's wrongs” and loving egg vis and visenya as his#NO ONE KNOWING THEY'RE NOT HIS. LIKE LEGIT THEY COULD BE HIS OR HARWIN'S. EVEN RHARNYRA DOESN'T KNOW#aegon living his best life as a sailor and explorer#Aemond looking at Laenor and being like “i can do that too”#laenor living THE BEST LIFE by his sis and her husband/his friend's side. and Joffrey is ALIVE#criston eventually getting over himself and accepting that Rhaenyra indeed couldn't run away with him#like imagine if they run away and then vissy t died#whoops i guess#also i just realized i accidentally made it so that Harrenhal is eventually ruled not by Strongs but Daemon's kids#lmao i guess#They are Targaryens (tm) your honor#the amount of dragons they're about to have...like harrenhal has 4 just with luke aemond and visx2#Dragonstone has 3 even if all kids scatter about#cobrays have 2 (Rhaena's and her daughters)#driftmark has at least 3 and then Laena is born and its 4

Burden
Carmy Berzatto & SIL!Reader + Past!Michael Berzatto x F!Reader
Summary: After Michael's death, you moved out of Chicago and took the kids to be closer to your family. A year later, you come back to see the Berzattos and on your last day you have a heart-to-heart with Carmy.
Content/Warnings: Angst, Grief, Guilt, Mention of Death and Suicide.
Word Count: 1,6k
A/N: Carmy calls reader Sis.
— You can read below or at AO3.
Being back in Chicago hurts more than you could have imagined. Even if it's just for a short visit, so your kids can reconnect with their aunt and uncle.
This isn’t the most exciting trip you’ve ever taken, but at the end it’s sad to leave this city behind once again. That feeling won’t ever go away. After all, this is the place where you met and built a life with Michael. This is where your two kids were born. And like in all good tragedies, this is also the place where your soul mate decided to abandon you when he took an early exit by his own hand.
A year later, you're still dealing with the aftermath of it all.
You moved to Minneapolis to be closer to your family mere days after your oldest daughter finished her school year. It was the right choice for all of you. But you all miss being closer to the Berzattos. You've always had a great relationship with most of them.
Natalie has been a great support, even in distance; even when battling with her own grief. She's the one you’ve talked to more often and the one who gave you that little push you needed to come visit.
It’s been a hectic week, especially since they’re reopening The Beef — The Bear — now, and they’re running against the clock to have everything ready for the launch next month. You haven’t stepped inside the restaurant since before Michael's death, and that’s something you can’t still bring yourself to do.
On your last day in the city, Aunt Natalie and Uncle Pete take your eight-year-old Madison and, god help them, your two-year-old Aiden for a fun day out while you hang back in the house.
You take that as an opportunity to pack everything for tomorrow and to finally get the guts to call Carmy to invite him for lunch and have some quality time with him for old times’ sake.
In regard to your brother-in-law, you’ve both been more distant toward the other than you used to be. He's become more reserved after Michael's death, and all your energy has been put on your two kids, and poorly handling everything else.
Back in the day, when Michael was still alive, you were the one to always call Carmy when Mikey stopped ditching his brother’s calls altogether. At some point, you ran out of excuses to give to Carmen on behalf of your husband's behavior. So, you’d just say – Just Mikey being Mikey.
Carmy and you knew that was bullshit.
Michael had a gregarious nature that remained unchanged until the last second. It’s hard to believe it was just a mask he put on to keep everyone happy, including you.
It begs to question what else you didn’t know about Michael, or if there was something different you could’ve done or said to change the outcome of that night.
Nothing has ever filled you with more guilt and remorse for not paying closer attention. It has also left you with a lot of anger the way he chose to leave you and the kids to your own devices. You know it's selfish, cause he had to be hurt beyond words to commit an act like that. The Michael you remember would have never done anything as such. It unnerves you that he didn't feel comfortable enough to come and talk to you. And you've exhausted your mind going over and over all the events preceding that day, searching for something that you'd have said that would have pushed him farther into that abyss. Something was off, and you should have tried harder to figure out what was going on with Michael. But in the midst of handling two young kids and your own job, you missed all the clues to Michael's secret affliction.
Regardless of that, Michael will always be the person you've loved the most, along with your children, and while the wound is still open and bleeding, you need to try to mend that relationship with Carmen before it's too late.
You're folding a pile of clean clothes and sorting them in your suitcase when the doorbell rings.
Swallowing that anxious lump in your throat, you open the door and greet him.
“Hope you don't mind, I ordered some pizza. I'm not much of a cook and figured you'd been so busy with… I didn't want you to…”
“No, that's fine, Sis. Pizza is perfect,” he's clearly nervous too when he takes off his jacket and hangs it on the back of a chair. “So they left you alone, huh?”
“Yeah. Aiden is probably driving them nuts. Do you want something to drink?” you gesture toward the kitchen.
“Uh, sure.”
Carmy follows you into the kitchen. He gets a soda, and you get a glass of water.
This is the first time you've seen him alone without Natalie or the kids around to interrupt. It feels a little awkward to be honest. Everything is still so raw for all of you, that locking eyes with Carmy's steel blue gaze feels like being stabbed with cold daggers. It's hard to look at him without seeing yourself in that same sea of despair.
Sipping his drink, his attention is drawn to a picture that Sugar took of Aiden a few days ago, pinned under a magnet on the fridge's door.
“He's gotten so big since…” Carmy trails off, pointing at your toddler. “How are they doing?”
“The kids?” he nods at you. “They're fine for the most part. Aiden is easier. He doesn't…” you don't have to finish the sentence for him to pick up what you mean. He was still a baby when it happened and until he's older, you won't be able to explain what happened. “And Madison… She really, really misses her dad, you know? She tries to put on a brave face, but some days she doesn't want to talk. And every other night she ends up in my bed begging me to not ever leave her.” You place the glass down on the counter, turn around to face the window, so he doesn't see the tears streaming down your face. “Ugh, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't burden you with this. You have enough already with…”
“Don't apologize, Sis. God, I hate him for doing that to you and the kids,” Carmen says softly.
“You shouldn't. He was your brother. It was my fault after all. I should've… I'm sorry.”
“Don't go there, Sis. It was nobody's fault.”
“No, it was. I was supposed to look after him, and I failed. He just left one night… and never came back. And I should've seen. I should've known… ”
“Listen,” there's a pause and a sigh while he gathers the rambling of his thoughts. “I have no idea what was going on with him. You and I both know that he could barely talk to me. And these past few months, I've found out things about him that I don't completely understand. But if there's one thing I know about Michael is that he loved you and the kids more than anything, and wouldn't want you to blame yourself for what he did. That's on him. I'm not gonna let you do that, okay?”
Staring at the sink, you vaguely nod, and wipe your tears. Guilting yourself over Michael's death is something that's going to follow you always. Even if it wasn't your fault. There are things about that night that still don't sit right with you. Every day, you wish you could go back in time and scream at yourself to look closer, pay attention, and ask him to stay that night you saw him leave for the last time.
“He was so stubborn sometimes. I should've pushed him harder to talk to you.”
“That's not on you, either. I know you tried.”
“He was very proud of you, you know?” you finally glance over yourself to see his reaction.
Though you knew Michael was highly proud of his little brother, he never got to express that face to face, or even on the phone. Maybe telling Carmy what you know could help him a little.
“Was he?” His head heavily slumps into his shoulders as a response, as if he wasn't completely sure Michael cared at all. He said he did, – I give a huge fuck, – Carmy recalls his brother saying that eventful Christmas. But after that, things went stale again, and he was back to being the odd man out.
“He was incredibly proud of you, Carmen,” you reassure him. “Michael really, really loved you, and respected you so much.”
“Maybe he did, but he didn’t want me here.”
“It wasn’t like that. He… Michael thought you deserved much better than to end up with him stuck in that hole in the wall. His words,” you point out. “He thought you were artistic and talented, and having you working with him would've kept you from going to Copenhagen and working in the best restaurants in the world. He believed that you could do anything, and needed to go out and chase that dream for both, for you and him, and experience everything that he couldn’t.”
“He told you that?” He moves to stand next to you, bracing his palms on the counter.
“Maybe not in that many words, but yeah.”
“He could have done any of that, too.”
“Yeah, he could’ve. But that’s not what he wanted. He took his chances with what he got, and that was his path. Not yours, Carmy. I should’ve told you earlier, it’s just…”
“… Hard. Tell me about it.”
“I’ve missed talking to you. I wasn’t trying to push you away like he did.”
“I know, Sis. I know. You have your hands full. I wasn't expecting you to. I get it. You can call anytime, you know? If the kids are giving you a hard time, or you just need to talk… I’m not Natalie, but I can listen.”
“Yeah, likewise.”
You both timidly smile at the other, and the burden weighing on your shoulders lightens just a little.

The Royal Duo + The Angelic Trio

MT/Mango Tango/Queen Orange (She/her) - 20 y.o. | A young adult who was a queen once just to destroy Minecraft cuz it took away her little brother Gold. Tries to move on from Gold's death and now considers Purple as her younger sis. She's on neutral terms with Color Gang. Her husband is actually an Enderman named Jacob (Tulip said that we can have our own Jacob so)
Gold (He/him) - 12 y.o. | A smol kid who is MT's brother and had unfortunately died from Minecraft. Observes his sister and spends his time with Orchid and Victim. Sometimes wishes he could hug MT one last time
Orchid (She/her) - 38 y.o. | A caring woman who is also Purple's mother. Has no empathy for RB cuz he left her and Purple. Unfortunately died from an unknown disease and now observes her child from above
Victim (They/Them) - 25 y.o. | A guy who never experienced life for once. Tries to develop themselves and find their own personality and hobbies. Currently is friends with Orchid and Gold

The Dark Lord/TDL/Dark (She/her) - 18 y.o. | The terrorist of the whole Internet herself and Alan is her creator. She was created to defeat Chosen but she teamed up with them and confronted Alan. Somehow survived Second's attack and now is trying to change. Has a girlfriend Chosen

DAUGHTERS OF AHMED I AND MURAD IV
Ahmed I had six daughters who reached adulthood: Gevherhan, Ayşe, Fatma, Hanzade, Atike and Ümmügülsüm.
Gevherhan Sultan was Ahmed I’s eldest daughter; married twice to Ökuz Mehmed Pasha and Topal Recep Pasha. She died before 1631. I believe that Ragusian report of 1642 mentioning Ibrahim’s sister as sultana moglie di Mustafa Pascia detta Guiheri was mistaken for Hanzade(?). Again, in Osmanli devltinde kim kimdi it is clearly stated that Hanzade married Mustafa Pasha in 1643. So, it stays as a questionmark...
Atike Sultan was Ahmed I’s daughter born in late 1600s. She was married at the beginning of the reign of Murad IV to Koca Kenan Pasha, and eventually in 1652 to Doğancı Yusuf Pasha (Turhan personaly take care of chosing husband for her). I have just problem detecting year of her death; source claim 1672/74 (but I would say it was when Turhan’s daughter Atike died). One source Atatürk konferansları suggest her death date as 1660. Anyway, it seems that historians were unable to bifurcate daughter of Ahmed I and Ibrahim I, and they mixed them with each other at times…
Ayşe Sultan’s marriages are well dated and known. Exept two things: she married Hafiz Ahmed Pasha in 1622 (which I will prove in discussion below) and we don’t know who was her husband in early 1650s. Her last husband was Mustafa Pasha. She died in 1656.
Ümmügülsüm Sultan was born either in 1610 or 1617. Her only known husband during reign of Murad IV was some Halil Pasha. I maybe have found something about him by Süreyya Mehmed Bey:
Halil Paşa - Enderun'dan yetişip mîrahûr-ı evvel olmuştu. 1048 'de (1638/ 39) veziriik verilerek Bağdadim fetih müjdesini İstanbura getirmiştir. Ardından saltanat değişikliği dolayısıyla gözden düşmüş olarak veffat etmiştir.
She was remarried in 1641 to governor of Herzegovina Ahmed Pasha. This marriage was also recognised by Kamil von Behr, and he referred to her as Patti Sultana. She was presented gifts as his wife in 1642, 1648 and 1655. Even she didn’t continue to receive Ragusian gifts, she was still alive during reign of Süleyman II, being alive in 1688, when she started to receive visits of Katherine Trumbull, wife of an English ambassador. On such visits, Katherine was able to collect news from the Ottoman court, such as the rumour in July 1690, later disproved, that Sultan Mehmed had died.
FATMA SULTAN
I would strongly suggest that not all marriages of Ahmed I’s daughter Fatma Sultan are oficially known. Evliya Çelebi mentioned that Fatma had twelve husbands before Melek Ahmed Pasha. I think that I am only person in this world that would claim now that his claims wasn’t sarcastic and that he was telling truth. Now, ambassador’s report from 1st April of 1622 claimed that Sultan Osman succeeded to marry his half-sisters Ayşe Sultan and her younger sister, and that he plans to marry third sister soon (Gevherhan was already married to Recep Pasha):
In work An Examination of Daily Politics and Factionalism at the Ottoman Imperial Court in Relation to the Regicide of Osman II (r.1618-22) (p. 66) author, using the same report, succeed to identify husbands of these Sultanas:
In late March 1622, the sultan married Ayşe Sultan, the ex-wife of former Grand Vizier Nasuh Pasha, to the Governor of Van, Hafız Ahmed Pasha, and his other sister, to the Governor of Damascus, Murtaza Pasha.
This is great, because the Sultana who was married to this Murtaza Pasha was (as Venetian report says) younger than Ayşe, and I would certainly say that this was Fatma’s first husband. The third one who was planned to be given in marriage to Murtaza Pasha’s son was most probably Hanzade. To remind you, Gevherhan was married for Recep Pasha at the time.
P.S. Who was daughter of Kosem Sultan refferend in letter she prepared for pasha in 1626 after she sent her daughter Fatma? She was never named. Historians made wrong assumption that it was Ayşe Sultan, because Hafiz Ahmed Pasha was Grand Vizier at the time, and they lacked information when did she married him, and with their free will chose is was Ayşe. I would made an assumption that she was most probably Ümmügülsüm. But still, we don’t know who this Pasha was…
At the beginning of reign of Murad IV, one of his sisters married Şehid Ali Pasha (d. 1624) (see Sakaoglu). This also was most probably Fatma, as her sisters Ayşe, Hanzade and Gevherhan had established husbands (Hafiz Ahmed Pasha, Bayram Agha and Topal Recep Pasha). According to Hammer, Atike was married before 1627 to Kenan Pasha who was seventh vizier in Divan. And please don’t ask me in which work, but I also found that Evliya stated that Grand Vizier Kemankeş Kara Ali Pasha married sister of Murad IV. I remember I was shocked, but I hope I will find again that same statement. Anyway, there is one more thing said in Demetrius Cantemir’s book The History of the Growth and Decay of the Ottoman Empire about one of Murad IV’s sister which occupied my mind, and made me think that it was about Fatma, because of her well-known greedy character:
Murad IV’s sister had four husbands in one year, and not the one of the marriages was celebrated according to the custom. They were accused of some crime, and put to death by the emperor, and their riches with all their effects assigned indeed to the Sultana as their law-wife…
Her (first officialy known) new husband was Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha, whom she married in 1624. She forcefully divorced him, as Murad IV’s was disturbed by Kösem’s extensive support for Hasan Pasha. Anyway, he continued his duties and even became Kapudan Pasha until he was poisoned by Recep Pasha in 1631, or rumour does say so (source: İstanbul armağanı, p. 117). After divorce, she was married in the same year to governor of Egypt Kara Mustafa Pasha, who was executed by Murad IV because of some action contrary to the law of God.
In work Fatma Sultan: A Sultana in the Shadow of Passion and Wealth on page 255, author cites source which claims she was married in 1629 to Sarraç Mustafa Pasha. Possibly.
I would now stress out that Fatma married Canpoladzade Mustafa Pasha in 1632. But between him and Sarraç Mustafa Pasha, she definitely had one more marriage. I will give you Venetian source I found in Vesna Miović’s work (p. 188, n. 258):
26.10.1631. Il Capitan del Mare si speta qua col primo bon tempo…al quale si tiene per certo che e stata promessa la sultana vedova del Pascia morto a Scopie questa estate…
As you see, Fatma was promissed to Kapudan Pasha (you fill find out Canpoladzade Mustafa Pasha was Kapudan Pasha from October 1630 until July 1632 if you check the right sources) in October of 1631, before she married him in 1632. But the most interesting thing is that, when she was promised to him, she was widow of governor of Skopje who died at summer of 1631. This guy’s identity was Kaçanikli Mehmed Pasha, who was really governor of Skopje and died in 1631.
As you all know, Canpoladzade Mustafa Pasha was executed in 1636. With him, she had sons Hüseyin and Süleyman. After his death, in 1637, she remarried Koça Yusuf Pasha (in 1638 records mentioned as his wife) and stayed with him in marriage until his death in 1658. They even had son, Ömer.
Her last three marriages were with Melek Ahmed Pasha, Kanbur Mustafa Pasha and Közbekçi Yusuf Pasha. But I would suggest she had at least a marriage between Yusuf Pasha’s death in 1658 and marriage with Ahmed Pasha in 1662.
According to work Fatma Sultan: A Sultana in the Shadow of Passion and Wealth, on page 256, we find out that Fatma Sultan died in 1671, most possibly during March:
Fatma Sultan 1671 yılında yaklaşık 66 yaşında vefat etti. Kaynaklarda Fatma Sultan’ın ölüm tarihiyle ilgili net bir bilgiye yer verilmemiş, genellikle Kozbekçi Yusuf Paşa ile evliliğinden sonra öldüğü ifade edilmiştir. Ölüm sebebi belli değildir. Terekesinde satılacak mücevherlerin kaydedildiği tarih 14 Zilkade 1081/25 Mart 1671 olarak gösterilmiştir (TSMA.d. 10457/124). Fatma Sultan’ın tasarrufunda bulunan Manastır kazası paşmaklık hassı 1671 yılının Mart ayından itibaren Haseki Sultan’a verilmiştir (MŞS. 21: 72, 75). Kabri, babası Sultan I. Ahmed’in türbesindedir (Mehmed Süreyya, 1996, s. 14)
Beside Ahmed I’s daughters, there were several unknown marriages of daughters of Murad IV. In Angelo Alessandri’s report from 1637, he says Murad IV had eleven-year-old daughter he intends to marry to Silahdar Mustafa Pasha. Additionally, it is known that thirteen-year-old daughter of Murad IV was married to Tüccarzade Mustafa Pasha in 1640 (Sakaoglu, Alderson). Now, what if I tell you that Silahdar Mustafa Pasha and Tüccarzade Mustafa Pasha were the same person? See this: https://www.suvakfi.org.tr/cesme/adalar/kaptan-i-derya-tuccarzade-silahdar-musahip-mustafa-pasa-cesmesi-h-1048-m-1638
Tüccarzade Silahdar Mustafa Pasha was executed in 1642 (not 1641 as Sakaoglu claims) as governor of Timisoara. Also, work Life After the Harem: Female Palace Slaves, Patronage and the Imperial Ottoman Court , p. 83, says:
According to Naima, in 1642, the sword bearer, husband of Kaya Sultan (daughter of Murad IV) was murdered.
All in all, I want to point to fact that Kaya Sultan was the eldest daughter of Murad IV, born in 1627, who married Mustafa Pasha in 1640 until his execution. She remarried in 1644 to Melek Ahmed Pasha. I am conversant with statements of her being born in 1633, which I strongly evaluate as UNRELIABLE.
Only Öztuna claimed of Murad IV’s daughters, Hanzade Sultan and Gevherhan Sultan, married in August 1645. Hanzade married Nakkaş Mustafa Pasha (d. 1657; different from same-named husband of Hanzade’s same-named aunt, but this Nakkaş Mustafa Pasha died in 1653 – again, I am SUSPICIOUS about this), and Gevherhan Sultan, who married Haseki Mehmed Pasha (who actually married to Turhan’s daughter Ayşe Sultan in 1653). As Haseki Mehmed Pasha remarried in 1553 to daughter of Ibrahim, Gevherhan died before (even before 1648, as she didn’t receive gifts from Ragusians). Hanzade existed, she was still alive in 1662, and was at the time married to some vizier Musa Pasha.

Anyway, Hanzade Sultan (daughter of Ahmed I or eventually Murad IV) really had a son with Nakkaş Mustafa Pasha. From judicial report in 1685:

Next very interesting daughter of Murad IV was Rûkiye Sultan. She was born in early 1630s, as she married around 1640s to Küçük Musa Pasha. Musa Pasha was mistaken to be husband of daughter of Ahmed I, Abide Sultan – who didn’t exist. Abide Sultan was daughter of Murad III and wife of Muslu Agha, and Rûkiye was Küçük Musa Pasha’s wife. She received gifts in 1648 as his widow. Rûkiye Sultan was mentioned by Ragusians in 1655 (source: Acta et Diplomata Ragusina) as Ruchie sultana, moglie di Telak Mustafa passa. Also, in 1662, she received gifts as Rukie Sultana moglie di Zelak Mustai Passa, the same guy. I succeeded to figure out his identity, he was Dellak Mustafa Pasha. And very interestingly, Dellak Mustafa Pasha was executed in 1662 by orders of Mehmed IV. It seems that it is right information that Rûkiye Sultan was remarried in 1663 (Sakaoglu) to Seytan Ibrahim Pasha. And he was also executed in 1685, while being governor of Buda. I would note that it is incorrect she married Gürcü Mehmed Pasha, he was husband of Murad IV’s granddaughter, daughter of Safiye Sultan, Rûkiye Sultan (d. early 1697). She died in March 1696 (Sakaoglu) or 1716 (Alderson). What problem did Mehmed IV had with Rûkiye Sultan, so he executed both her husbands?
Safiye Sultan married at least two times: in 1649 she married firstly Haydarzade Mehmed Pasha. She was recorded in 1655 gifts as Safie sultana moglie di Haidar Sade, figlia di sultan Mourad, and as his widow in 1662. It was false information that he married Ibrahim’s daughter Kaya, she never existed. Anyway, her next known marriage was in probably 1663 to Sari Hasan Pasha, during which she died. But according to Ragusian envoys, he was referred in 1670 as Hussain passa. She died before 1676.
Murad IV also had a daughter named Hafsa Sultan. Only thing known about her is that she married some Hüseyin Pasha (source: İslâm ansiklopedisi: İslâm âlemi tarih, coğrafya, etnoğrafya ve biyografya lûgati – cilt 8; page 646). Actually, if you see Türkischer Biographischer Index (page 489), you will see there were eight Hüseyin Pashas who were governors during reign of Mehmed IV (different than Deli Hüseyin Pasha).
There is possibility that Murad IV had a daughter named Ayşe Sultan, but I am reasonably sceptical about it. I will explain it later, when I make a discussion of daughters of Ibrahim and Mehmed IV, which is the hardest task. I don’t know when I will make that one because my academic year starts in ten days, and I need more time to research and observe the Sultanas from the second half of the seventeenth century. Anyway…I really tried hard to find some unrecorded marriages of these analysed Sultanas, I’m glad that I have determined at least one-two marriages of Ahmed I’s daughter Fatma we didn’t know, and also with daughters of Murad IV.
This is also a topic I’m very interested in.
I’m going to sum up everything so it’s easier to read. I am very sorry but it’s long.
Gevherhan Sultan binti Ahmed I
she was Ahmed I’s eldest daughter (child?), named in honour of his great-aunt Gevherhan Sultan binti Selim II, who was still alive at the time of the princess’ birth. She firstly married Öküz Kara Mustafa Pasha in 1611-1612 (when the pasha came back from Egypt). Mustafa Pasha died in 1620. She secondly married Topal Recep Pasha during Osman II’s reign, with whom had a daughter, Safiye Hanımsultan, probably born in 1630. Gevherhan died before July 1631 (Muharram 1040), when an imperial decision calls her “deceased”. The Ragusian diplomats were wrong when they listed “Guiheri” among Ibrahim’s sisters in 1642. Gevherhan had already died by then. This is confirmed by a harem register dated February 1638-39 in which her daughter Safiye is listed but not her. (I should probably make a gifset about this but I deleted all my gifmaking stuff DDDD:)
Atike Sultan binti Ahmed I
as of now, we don’t have solid evidence on her date of birth, except for Öztuna who says she was born around 1614 (but he also says she’s Kasım’s twin…). Interestingly, Tezcan in Searching for Osman says that she was married to “the son of Ekmekçizade Ahmed Pasha (d. 1618), most probably in 1618”. Unfortunately, I don’t know who that is because I couldn’t find his name. Anyway, in the early years of Murad IV’s reign, Atike married Kenan Pasha, as Giustiniani in 1627 says that “Chinan” was married to the sultan’s sister:
Per ultimi sedevan nel Divano doi altri cognati del re, l’uno Chinan, l’altro Mustaffà, ambidoi poco prima del mio partir spediti quello in Grecia et questo in Natolia sotto titolo de inquisitori con suprema auttorità contra le violentie et tirannidi che si commettevano in quelle provintie, ma in effetto per cavar da esse grosse somme de denari per le guerre contra il Persiano.
Koca Sofu Kenan Pasha died in 1652 and in the same year, according to Uluçay, she married Doğancı Yusuf Pasha.
About her death, Uluçay says nothing. Sakaoğlu, on the other hand, says she died before 1670, that is when Doğancı Yusuf Pasha died. According to Öztuna she died in 1674. Interestingly, when talking about Atike’s tomb, Evliya Celebi mentions her as “Kenan Paşa Sultanı, Ahmed Han kızı Buy’unaz Âtike Sultan”, as if her other marriage never happened (or maybe he was away from Istanbul and didn’t know about it). If only we could date the first volume of the Seyahatnâme we could estimate Atike’s death DD:
Ayşe Sultan binti Ahmed I
I too have found some new (to me) information while I was researching Mehmed III’s daughters. Tezcan in Searching for Osman says that she was only betrothed to Karakaş Mehmed Pasha:
Ayşe Sultan, after the death of her husband in 1614, was promised to Karakaş Mehmed Pasha, probably during the reign of Osman II as well. Yet the latter was killed in battle at Khotin in 1621, and she was married to Hafiz Ahmed Pasha.
You’re right in saying that it’s Osman II who married off Ayşe to Hafiz Ahmed Pasha, because that’s what the Venetian ambassador said in April 1622:
Continua tuttavia la Maestà sua gia molti giorni nel detto serraglio, dove ha dissegnato maritar in diversi, soggetti 200 di quelle donne che vi habitano, havendo anche concluso matrimonio di due sue sorelle; una fu moglie di Nasuf, in Cafis Bassa di Van, che hora si trova in viaggio di ritorno, et fu gia capitan del Mare…
It is interesting, though, that Uluçay said that they were engaged in 1626 and married in 1627 (probably because the pasha wasn’t in Istanbul). I wonder what happened in 1627 because I doubt that it’s the date of consummation… she would have been 22. In any case the marriage was consummated because it produced two sons: Sultanzade Mustafa Bey and an unnamed one who probably died as a baby.
I don’t think she married someone else between Hezargratlı Voynuk Ahmed Pasha (m. 1645-49) and İbşir Mustafa Pasha (m. 1655).
I too thought that İbşir Mustafa Pasha was Ayşe’s last husband but Ragusian diplomats mention a “Aise Sultana moglie di Suleiman Passa” on 28 July 1662, so maybe Öztuna is right in saying that her last husband was actually Malatyalı Koca Süleyman Pasha? On the other hand, Alderson says that the princess married to Koca Süleyman Pasha (also called Ermeni) was Murad IV’s daughter but, annoyingly, doesn’t give any sources.
According to Kütükoğlu, who wrote Malatyalı Koca Süleyman Pasha’s entry in the Islamic Encyclopedia, the Ayşe Sultan he married was Ibrahim’s daughter, adding that Alderson was mistaken in identifying her as a daughter of Murad IV. The only problem is he says that the princess was later married to İbşir Mustafa Pasha… which is impossible.
So, basically, everyone is confused.
Ümmügülsüm Sultan binti Ahmed I
I think it’s impossible to say when she was born. I don’t know who Kamil von Behr is and google didn’t give me any answers…
Anyway, I really don’t know who this Halil Pasha could be because he doesn’t have a nickname so he could be anyone. The one you found in Sicill-i Osmani is a contemporary of Murad IV and therefore of Ahmed I’s daughters so it could be him.
Fatma Sultan binti Ahmed I
So, I don’t know whether to trust everything Evliya Celebi said because he was known to exaggerate things.
Anyways, Çiçek says that in late March 1622 a sister younger than Ayşe married the governor of Damascus, Murtaza Pasha. Murtaza Pasha was governor of Damascus until 1623 (did he die? Who knows). However, in this register, Fatma is unmarried:
A privy purse register from 1622 gives the names of five unmarried princesses, who may be daughters of Ahmed, Osman II, and even Mehmed III: Ümm-i Külsum, Hanzade, Halime, Fatma, and Akile. (Tezcan, B. - Searching for Osman, p. 334, n. 58)
Of course it could have been written before March 1622 but Ayşe (who married Hafiz Ahmed Pasha at the same time) is not among these princesses. It’s interesting, though, that Atike too is absent.
P.S. Who was daughter of Kosem Sultan referred in letter she prepared for pasha in 1626 after she sent her daughter Fatma? She was never named. Historians made wrong assumption that it was Ayşe Sultan, because Hafiz Ahmed Pasha was Grand Vizier at the time, and they lacked information when did she married him, and with their free will chose is was Ayşe. I would made an assumption that she was most probably Ümmügülsüm. But still, we don’t know who this Pasha was…
Well, I mean, Peirce has identified the pasha. As Uluçay believes that Hafiz Ahmed Pasha and Ayşe were married in 1626, this letter makes sense.
In 1626 or thereabout she wrote to the grand vezir Hafiz Ahmed Pasha proposing marriage to one of her daughters: “Whenever you’re ready, let me know and I’ll act accordingly. We’ll take care of you right away. I have a princess ready. I’ll do just as I did when I sent out my Fatma.” Hafiz Ahmed became the third husband of Ayşe. (Peirce, Leslie P. - The Imperial Harem, p. 148)
I don’t particularly like the assumption that Peirce (or other historians) “with their free will chose Ayşe”. If the letter is dated 1626 ca and the grand vizier at the time was Hafiz Ahmed Pasha, then it’s only logical that Peirce (or others) say: she’s talking about Ayşe. I don’t see anything wrong with that tbh.
If Kösem is not talking about Hafiz Ahmed Pasha’s marriage, though, then the princess could be any unmarried princess in the harem at the time. As Valide Sultan and Regent she arranged all the marriages, not only her daughters’.
Şehid Ali Pasha… Alderson didn’t give any sources for that claim, and the only Şehid Ali Pasha I’ve found is Fatma binti Ahmed III’s husband (so he died in 1716).
Let’s move on to Dimitrie Kantemir’s book:
So, Kantemir wasn’t a contemporary. He lived in Istanbul in 1688-91 and again in 1693-1710. His work, Historia incrementorum atque decrementorum Aulae Othomanicae (History of the Rise and Fall of the Ottoman Empire), was written in Istanbul before 1710 and completed in Russia in 1717. This is what he says about a sister of Murad IV’s:
Murad IV’s Sister had four Husbands in one year, and not one of the Marriages appears to have been consummated. For as soon as the Nuptials were celebrated according to custom, they were accus’d of some crime, and put to death by the Emperor, and their Riches with all their effects assign’d indeed to the Sultana as his lawful Wife, but in reality brought into the royal Treasury (p. 179)
This quote is a little vague. It doesn’t say who this princess is and, most importantly, when this happened. We assume it happened during Murad IV’s reign but we don’t know that with certainty. Also, Fatma's marriage to Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha lasted at least four years, as Murad IV divorced them in 1628.
About Kaçanikli Mehmed Pasha, I have found in Kaçanikli Mehmed Paşa Vakfiyesi ve Kütüphanesi that he may have died before 1631:
Although it was reported that he died in 1631, according to the Divan-ı Hümayun records, he died before 1616 (Kul, 2013: 2001). (p. 1847)
Unfortunately I couldn’t get access to E. Kul’s PhD thesis “XVII. yüzyılda Üsküb şehri”, which is the source.
Anyway, let’s move on.
Tezcan in Searching for Osman says this:
During the reign of Murad IV, a daughter of Ahmed was married to Berber Mustafa Pasha; upon the execution of her husband, she married Sarrac Hasan Pasha. After the death of her second husband, she married Janpoladzade Mustafa Pasha, who was executed by the orders of Murad IV in 1045/1635-6. This princess seems to be Fatma Sultan, who, probably after some other marriages, married Melek Ahmed Pasha in 1662. Melek Ahmed Pasha, who died in the same year, was not her last husband. (p. 334, n. 58)
I’m almost sure that Sarraç Hasan Pasha and Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha are the same man:
When he entered the palace, Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha was a “saddle (saraç) apprentice”
Tezcan says that Sarraç Hasan Pasha was a protegé of Hacı Mustafa Ağa (”Mustafa Agha sponsored the careers of such men as the future grand vizier Tabamyassi Mehmed Pasha, the vizier and finance minister Hasan Pasha, and two other viziers Sarrac Hasan Pasha and Hamidi Mustafa Pasha). Well, Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha was a protegé of Hacı Mustafa Ağa too.
I know Tezcan’s thesis is about Osman II but Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha is never mentioned, not even as Kapıcıbaşı.
Also, it’s not true that Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha became Grand Admiral after his divorce with Fatma because Giustinian in 1627 calls him “Capitan del mare”, which is the Italian translation of Kapudan-ı Derya.
For some reason, though, Civelek and Çakır’s essay İhtiras ve Servetin Gölgesinde Bir Sultan: Fatma Sultan calls him Sarrac Mustafa Pasha. I couldn’t find anything about him.
About this: “Il Capitan del Mare si speta qua col primo bon tempo..., al quale si tiene per certo che e stata promessa la sultana vedova del Pascia morto a Scopie questa estate...”. Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha died on his way to Buda, on 1 August 1631 (some say poisoned by Topal Recep Pasha, as you said). I think he’s the pasha “morto a Scopie questa estate”
(I know Skopje is not in Greece but bear with me)
I don’t think the Ragusian diplomat is saying that that princess is the widow of the governor of Skopje, but that her husband simply died in Skopje that year (I first thought it had happened during a battle or a rebellion). It is certainly interesting that Çatalcalı Hasan Pasha died on 1 August 1631 on his way to Buda, between Yenişehir and Tırhala (Greece).
I know he and Fatma were already divorced but I think that’s only the way the Ragusian diplomat chose to refer to her (as princesses were most often referred to as wives of some pasha). Maybe with more sentences from that dispatch it becomes clearer.
Thanks to İhtiras ve Servetin Gölgesinde Bir Sultan: Fatma Sultan we found out that Fatma had a son with Koca Yusuf Pasha who was alive at least until 1671 when he was noted as one of her heirs, so that’s definitely new information.
As for new marriages, I wouldn’t change anything at the moment. I personally don’t think she kept remarrying so fast.
Let’s move on to Murad IV’s daughters.
Kaya Ismihan Sultan binti Murad IV
Alderson doesn’t give any source for this supposed marriage between an unnamed princess and Tüccarzade Mustafa Pasha (which, interestingly, he says happened in 1640). On the other hand, it’s documented that Kösem and the Grand Vizier blocked the marriage between Kaya and said Tüccarzade Mustafa Pasha (who was Silahdar Mustafa Pasha, yes):
The Queen mother and the Vizier who foresaw their inevitable ruin if they did not undermine this union by its principal foundation, asked Mustafa for fifteen hundred thousand crowns; Mustafa delivered this sum in less than fifteen days, but as he saw that his enemies, having found it so easy to pay it, still wanted to make him ask for new loans, he had them tell him that he knew well that their hatred desired his blood rather than his money, that he was ready to satisfy them, and that if conscience had not arrested his despair, he had already performed the office of the executioner that he expected at any time from them. Notwithstanding this abandonment, they did not have the boldness to undertake anything openly against his life, fearing to irritate the Princess his Lover and to raise the militia; But to make believe that they wished rather to change his condition into one amenable to his grief, than to ruin him, they asked him to resign his office of Capudan Pasha in favour of a Page of the Serrail named Yusuph, and gave him the Government of Buda, where he could more solitarily than at Court, vacillate to the resentment of his affliction. Mustafa to whom all things were indifferent, except tears and sighs, consented to all that was desired, and when he was countermanded on the road to Temisuar, he went thither without murmuring, although it is one of the smallest Governments of Romelia. Thus this inconsolable Pasha still drags out a languid life, in spite of his enemies who continually watch to ruin it, and in spite of the means that his grief employs to seek to die. (Les Voyage du Sieur du Loir, 124-26)
(Translation is a bit wonky I’ll admit it but I used Google Translate because old French is hard)
I do agree, though, that Kaya Ismihan was Murad IV’s eldest daughter (who survived infanthood). Foscarini in 1637 states:
Per quanto ho inteso di figliuole femmine il Re ne ha tre, la maggiore che è di nove anni, pare destinata per moglie al Bei Siclictar amata assai da Sua Maestà (Firpo, Relazioni, p. 766)
In 1640, Contarini says that Kaya is twelve years old. Considering that she was the only one with a betrothed, I’d say she was the eldest.
I don’t think that Naima quote proves that Kaya, in the end, married Silahdar Mustafa Pasha. I don’t think it happened at all. Also because Melek Ahmed Pasha too was a Silahdar so I think the two things were conflated into one and the author got confused. On the other hand, I think Evliya Celebi would have mentioned if Kaya had had a marriage before the one with Melek Ahmed Pasha.
I think it was Kaya’s betrothal with Tüccarzade Silahdar Mustafa Pasha which Alderson confused with a marriage.
Funnily, Öztuna says that Kaya had been betrothed as a baby to Abaza Mehmed Pasha (from the family of Melek Ahmed Pasha) but the pasha had been executed. She had then been betrothed to Hayder Ağazade Mehmed Pasha in 1643 but this betrothal too didn’t lead to marriage (He later married her sister Safiye). I don’t know how much of this is true.
About Hanzade binti Murad IV and Gevherhan binti Murad IV, @rhaenahanzades and I had reached the conclusion that Hanzade was Hanzade binti Ahmed I and Gevherhan was Gevherhan binti Ibrahim.
I personally think that Murad IV’s daughters who reached adulthood were Kaya Ismihan, Rukiye and Safiye.
Rukiye Sultan binti Murad IV
I agree that Abide binti Ahmed I didn’t exist, it seems to have been an oversight by some historians because some of Murad III’s daughters were very young (even infants) when he died, so it makes sense that they had long lives.
According to Ragusian diplomats, Rukiye had the following husbands:
Küçük Musa Pasha
Zelak Mustafa Pasha
Şeytân Divrikli Ibrahim Pasha, with whom she had two daughters
I’m going to be honest, I couldn’t find this Dellak Mustafa Pasha anywhere. I did look up what Dellak means and it seems quite the strange nickname to give a pasha because it means devil.
Anyway, I don’t think Mehmed IV had a specific problem with Rukiye but Ibrahim Pasha was executed in Belgrade in 1685 (according to Öztuna) so he was probably part of those executions Mehmed IV had ordered because of the failed Vienna siege. I know Wikipedia is not the best source but “Ibrahim of Buda” is listed among the Ottoman commanders under Grand Vizier Merzifonlu Mustafa Pasha.
Safiye Sultan binti Murad IV
Mmh, I think Safiye and Hafsa are the same person (Ragusian diplomats call her “Saffie” which could sound like Hafsa if you pronounce it Sàffie instead of Saffìe). While it’s true that Uluçay says she married Sari Hasan Pasha (possibly after Haydarağazade Mehmed Pasha), Öztuna says she married Abaza Hüseyin Pasha, and this seems to be confirmed by Ragusian diplomats who, in 1670, said she was married to Hussain Pascia
There is a Hafsa Sultan among Murad IV’s children in Devletler ve Hanedanlar but she seems to have died in infanthood.

The main ships of NFCV:
DraculaXLisa: The science couple! Bonding over their shared love of science and nothing else. For someone who seemed deathly afraid of what her husband could do to humanity Lisa really didn't seem to have any issues with him commiting genocide in the end! Gotta love having to twist characterizations to keep a ship alive!
Trephacard: Superficially it's the most obvious, but the group goes a surprisingly long time separated and the time they spend together is often spent being cunts to each other
Striga and Morana : lesbianrepresentation.png
Alucard x Greta: When a cunt meets a piece of wood
Lenector: https://youtu.be/UnDhyWnHPD0?si=AcoJZBVXlYlByHgL
Annette X Richter: That great moment when one member of the couple gets treated nicely by the other when they suffer from trauma, while the other treats them like shit for the same reason, only to basically lie about it later on by saying "Oh I was worried about you". Also dead moms are a great bonding agent!
youtube
^ you couldn't have made a better analysis, my friend.
If you count Strirana (Morga?), then you might as well count Olrox/Mizrak, which is a very nice combination of fanservice (look! two hot men fucking!) and angst (oh nooo Olrox turned his bf but he says he doesn't want to do the same with his new bf because he doesn't care but he clearly does, oh the drama!) :P
Anyway, the straight ships in these show all suck. The gay ships are too busy being gay to go beyond that, but the others are all built on the same dynamic of "sassy woman keeps his stupid/rude man in check and they have cute sassy banters that are supposed to mimic chemistry" - and I would count St. Germain with his woman too if the latter had any sort of personality.
It was cute when Lisa sassed Dracula because, well, he's Dracula, although she really looks bad afterwards with how she neglects her son in favor of her monster of a hubby (not to mention she just comes off as an arrogant ass, since her love for science comes in the form of wanting to be seen as smarter than the peasants below her). Sypha insulting Trevor loses its charm very quickly, even when they're supposed to be cutesy together - and she has no right of calling Trevor rude when she can be even nastier and meaner. Greta appears out of nowhere in the end and she believes she can order and sass Alucard around like a common fanfic OC, not to mention making a tasteless joke out of his experiences in S3. And the "banter" between Lenore and Hector is sick from multiple angles, but on a lighter note is also forced as fuck - they sound OOC, there's no other way of putting it, because the only way they know of showing a man and a woman getting along is shit like this.
When you think about it, the only people genuinely in love really are Striga and Morana, because they were designed to be joined at the hip.
Well, I suppose Annette doesn't really fit the mold. She doesn't sass Richter: she sounds like she genuinely looks down on him and thinks lowly of him, until the writing has to force a "cute" ship tease between them because despite having absolutely nothing in common with game Annette and being a very obvious example of "this character sucks, we'll improve her and make her super cool", she couldn't be her own character, oh no she's still named Annette and therefore she's bound to become Richter's GF :) "I knew you'd be back. I was more concerned than I wanted to be." you are a horrible liar
anyway the only way you can enjoy ships in this show is ignoring canon and forcing the characters into your favorite prepackaged molds, like Trevor being the funny penis man, Sypha being the braincell holder and Alucard being the snarky broody asshole. Or ignoring all the abuse and rape for the sake of kinky hot sex in the case of Lenector :P
#anti netflixvania#and i do mean you have to ignore canon#no way you can ship tre//pha//card based on what's in the show#those people only interact in one season and then tre//pha ditch alucard like real jerks#that would have broken my heart if i cared#i've stopped shipping ships for far less

I don't understand the dad and mom dynamic
Anyone can spoil from the book?
A richie rich lady is smitten and obsessed with a gigolo. She pays him to play pretend husband/lover. Has two kids. She is the sugar mommy but the guy is promiscuous and goes on with his affairs. The rich lady is angry but guy knows she is obsesses with him and knows how to handle her
Then he hits one of the kids and mom loses it and throws the man out of the house.
Fine. As far as i gather mom is not dead. Then, WHY IS RAK paying for the dad, why is mom not being informed about gigolo making rounds around her grandchild...
I think it is pretty clear that mom is an astute businessman, crazy rich, and a tough woman when she needs to be
this drama is just not making sense to me
************
if mom is not alive, then too, how are these rich siblings not able to handle their dad. they also have a child to protect. You are the rich ones, go to freaking police or bribe a hitman
**********
And, will dad be stupid to hurt his golden geeses... nah!
**********
Also, happy meena gives me the sense that she is in a happy family. Her mom (rak's sis) is happy with her dad. Why is Meena's dad not stepping up?

Hello, I'm Agent Phoenix, formerly known as Agent 043.
Roxy told me I should make a blog, so here I am. I guess I should put some stuff about me here? I don't know how this site works
Uhhh
Well, I'm 38, I'll be 39 in November, and I like cats. And Roxana, of course. She's like, the coolest ever, and also my fiancée :)
I think I'm kinda sorta like a step...parent??? To Right and Robutler??? Idk I'll ask Roxy about that tho
I use any pronouns, so get creative
My first handler was a piece of shit, so feel free to talk shit with me haha
Same with Agent Slimeball Sliver. He's a ball of eugh.
Roxy says I should put some boundaries, like stuff I don't like to talk about, so, um. Here you go, I guess.
I don't like talking about my past with Zoraxis in detail, so try to refrain from asking about that. Same with how Handler 043 treated me. Don't be a dick about my scars. The basics, don't be a homophobe, or a racist, or a creep here. I am a liberal user of the block button, and if necessary, I'll report you. Don't be a shithead in general.
Uh
Idk what else to put here so bye
______________END TRANSMISSION______________
Hello! Leo here, this blog's moderator and the power behind the throne, so to speak. This is a side blog for my main, @eight-cats-in-a-box, purely for IEYTD and 043! Phoenix!
043 is besties with Reggie!! Their handler is one of the ones closest to their cold, dead heart. :) He's also just recently started dating John Juniper!
043 is dating Roxana! 043 loves the scientist very dearly, and they're quite attached to her. They have a very healthy relationship, and they're planning to propose soon, aided by none other than...
Their murder bestie, John Juniper! He owes being alive today to Phoenix, who dragged him out of the wreckage after Operation: Rising Phoenix. These two are very protective of each other, despite constantly fighting. They've also hooked up before Codename: Agent Clover. Recently, his romantic feelings for Reginald came to light, and they've been in a relationship ever since!
Other notable figures are:
Agent Knockout and his husband, Breakdown! Also known as Damien and Jack Woodworth, this dynamic duo are infamous for their brains-and-brawn mindset. Quite literally, since Breakdown doesn't have a TK implant due to the complications it would cause.
Chief Medical Officer/Lead Field Medic, Doctor Robert "Ratchet" Greaves. Also known as the Hatchet, Greaves is sick of it. 043's nonsense, but also the bullshit the rest of the Agency puts him through. Grouch with a heart of gold. Married to Drift.
Field Medic Support Agent Drift! A very long title indeed, one created to keep him by Robert's side. No one knows his real name- not even Drift himself. Married to Robert.
R&D Lead Scientist Percy James Janssen! He has to deal with all of 043's nonsense, not to mention all the bullshit he gets put through just trying to make stuff. He's married to Brian Gunnings, R&D's resident problem.
Reality Breaker and General Shenanigan-Causer Brian "Storm" Gunnings! This maniac makes too many guns, too many time-travelling briefcases, and...probably too many explosions. Has a habit of flirting with Percy when he's holding chemicals. This is not malicious (somehow) he just really likes his hubby. :)
Magnus Bates, Esq.! 043's fraternal twin and younger-by-ten-minutes brother, he's gotten them off of death row! Don't ask. He's a stickler for the rules, but he's a sucker when it comes to his big sis.
Agent Hot Rod! This flamboyant character drives everyone up the wall, especially when him and 043 team up. He's also got crippling self-doubt, but that's besides the point. Acts like he's hot shit.
...Whirl. This absolute madman of a chopper pilot probably shouldn't be allowed to fly, but he's also the best there is, so who's gonna stop him?
Rung! 043's therapist, kindest soul you'll ever meet, and probably as old as the Earth itself! Kidding. He likes model planes.
Ex-Operative Megatronus! Don't let that title fool you, this grouch has a massive soft spot for anything small and cute. Like his cat. Or his boyfriend.
Orion Pax! This librarian/archivist has a heart of gold and a strong sense of justice, and will not hesitate to throw a punch for the greater good, much to Megatronus's chagrin.
043 is also the parental/fraternal figure to several agents, including ones in alternate dimensions, as well as Prism's kids! Right Robot and Robutler both think they're pretty neat, and their rookies have never been safer :)

Oo maybe 6? For the ask game :O :D
i treid sleeping i swear- anyways--
Uh this triggered something long, SHIT , you don't have to read it lol sorry QWQ MY DREAMS ARE MOVIES ATP AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA alr well it was a little weird but bassically: me and my fam [even my dad for some reason but not my lil'est sis] were in a barn, and there were a lot of people there also sick, my dad was really sick [to the point where he was laying down, unable to open his eyes], the most sick. He was on one of the hays in the corner, the only one without doctors around him for some reason I was at the entrance of the barn area so I walked forward a bit and I saw a pig/white dog [can't remember], and I walked up to it cause why not. There were 2 men also next to the animal, 1 of them was js there so i dont remember him well, but the other one looked like litterally straight out of the 1890's, he had a tophat and a walking stick for some reason lol. I looked at the animal and made some kind of remark [i forgor, sorry, my memory is shit and i'm writing this at night, probably will continue in the morning], the man laughed and [im going to translate it but it might not make sense, since it was in arabic, which is something i rarely dream in?] said "remember that people and animals are the same [/neg, as in, animalistic], don't view them any different". I just nodded and then walked away, exploring the rest of the place. [although i believed the info] It was mainly just me like looking at the sick peeps and i saw the pig/dog running/jumping around from area to area, also looking at the sick people, pretty quickly, but they still never went to my dads area. [idk why but that was an important detail in the dream lol]. So after i finish inspecting and stuff, my mum tells me we need to go somewhere and we needed to go get stuff [she wasn't specific, and again, it makes more sense in arabic]. So we go, leaving the middle sibling as she became sick and a little tired as well, and the dream then skips to when me and my mum come back, my mum is holding a plastic bag filled with stuff i didnt know and im js holding chocolate [granted, i ate chocolate before bed so that may have affected it lol], but when we came back the place was mostly empty, only my dad in the corner [it was very far away and barely noticable but he was there, it was a really big place, more than 100m fs], and my sister in the middle-ish front of the place, next to a doctor in the barn and yk the docters stand in hospitals that they wheel around? with a screen? yeah she was next to that. My mum was mad at the doctor cause she was like 'oh as soon as we left, she got sick, it's the doctors fault, blah blah blah', and she started being angry at the doctor. After hearing my mum yap for a bit i js went up to my sister and she was very tired and she looked very sick, i bassically chilled with her, and we were talking as i ate my choc bar. I thought she was going to die in the dream but at the end she didn't, so yippee! Then another time skip happened and we were now all sitting at the side area of the barn and sitting on hay [btw i've never actually lived in a barn? or been to one that looked like that lol], and the doctors came up to us and were like "Oh yeah your husband [they were talking to my mum], died". and my mum deadass turned away from him and then the vibe suddenly was off [anxiety, it got like a scarier feeling for some reason], and she said "But his soul is still alive". I looked at her, then at his place, where his body was still there, but the body was dead, and a bad vibe hit me [idk how else to explain feelings help] and i said "His body is dead but his soul is still alive, he's alive" And then the dream fucking ended MY DAD ISN'T DEAD AS FAR AS I KNOW???
#ask#randomexistingthing#FRIEND!!!#my dreams are really vivid for some reason lol#I TRIED TO SLEEP I SWEAR

"Burying myself alive: Part II."
Prompt: “Have you eaten anything?”
Pairing: Established Papa IV/ Reader
POV: You / Your
Pronouns: She/her
Synopsis:
You haven't been coping lately, and things are getting stressful as the new tour dates approach. You don't know how you're going to survive without him, especially when feeling so vulnerable, and take to running to calm your anxiety.
But, even as a seasoned runner, you neglect yourself. Slowly you began slipping back into a world you promised you never would.
Notes:
This is a short, two-chapter (because it was way too long for one Tumblr post) personal piece. It is based on a conversation had by my husband and me many years ago after I relapsed pretty hard into Anorexia Nervosa. I don't have a lot of memories from that time (or previous relapse because, well, long-term side effects), but this is one of the conversations I will never be able to forget.
It's also now that I realise all the fluff I write about Copia is literally just how my husband is. Do with that what you may.
!WARNINGS!
Mentions of anorexia nervosa, eating disorders, and mental health issues.
Part I
~ ~ ~ ~
“La mia bellezza?”
You wiped your eyes and looked up to see Copia coming your way. You hadn’t even noticed you’d reached the end of your route.
“You didn’t run today? Perché amore?”
“I-I just couldn’t.” You sniffed, as you closed the distance.
He looked at you with furrowed brows and handed you a mug of coffee. Black this time, with sugar.
“You’ve been crying, amore.” He said softly,” Please, talk to me.”
He wrapped his arm around your shoulders and pulled you tight to his body. You allowed it and leaned into him as he began walking you both back into The Abbey.
“I just couldn’t run. Everything hurts, and I just don’t have the energy to push myself.” You answered, your voice breaking.
“Have you eaten anything this morning?” His voice was soft but stern.
He’d been worried about you over the last few weeks. You’d been running more than usual and eating less, and he couldn’t help but notice the weight you’d lost. Your body didn't feel the same beneath his and your hip bones had become more prominent than usual.
After what happened during the last tour, he knew to remain vigilant and learned to recognise signs of relapse. But things had been going well until now. You’d gained a little weight and taken your medication as prescribed. You’d even been talking about the idea of weaning off it, just to see how you felt. Just to see if the depression had passed.
This time, however, things were getting worse before he'd even left, and it broke him to think about leaving you like this.
“Cara mia? You have eaten today, si?” He asked again.
“N-no. But I did try.”
Copia didn’t respond. He just signed deeply. You felt the pit in your stomach deepen.
“I’m sorry. I-I just can’t eat. Nothing tastes right. And I’m not hungry.”
“Mia, you still need to eat. How do you expect to run so much with no energy? Your exercise is important, si?” You knew he wanted to continue on to talk about your health being important, and his own mental health never surviving this tour if you didn’t start looking after yourself.
His raised words echoed in your mind.
"Don't you understand that watching you waste away is eating me alive?! How can I leave you like this, mia!? Bene?"
You felt the tears over flow again. You sniffed and wiped your eyes with your scarf.
“Please don’t cry, mia. I don’t mean to upset you.” He pulled you closer and you felt his lips kiss the top of your head, “I love you, and I just want to see you well. I know not having me around for a few weeks - “
“Months.” You cut in.
“Si, months, is difficult. But remember you can call me anytime. We can even speak on the ‘Doom,’ si? And then there is Terzo. He is always there for you to talk to when things become too much. You can do this. And you know I’ll be missing you every second of every day?” He kissed your head again, “Please, mia. Please keep fighting.”
At that moment, you so desperately hated yourself for allowing this to happen, for being so needy that you were hurting yourself to get him to stay. Your stomach twisted with anxiety, and in an attempt to stop the tears, you decided not to answer him.
He didn’t say another word. He didn’t even speak when you entered your quarters, nor when you began to undress for a shower. You took the silence to mean that he was angry, or at least irritated. And you didn’t want a repeat of last night.
You were going to lose him to eight weeks of non-stop touring, and there you were, driving a wedge between you both because you couldn't manage without him. It sounded so dramatic and childish.
Your heart stung as you berated yourself for being so unstable that you couldn't even let your love, your Copia, do the job he’d been chosen to do. You felt ashamed that you were making him feel conflicted between you and his Dark Majesty.
It was all you could do to silence your whimpers as you turned on the water. You stood there biting back tears as you waited for the shower to warm. It felt like an age until you could climb under the faucet and allow the heat to wash over your bones. It felt good. It soothed your muscles and helped silence the world around you.
And then the tears came. You buried your face in your hands as you cried. Sobs wrecked through your body as you felt a sea of emotions overcome you. Angry at Copia for leaving, anxious about your time without him and, most of all, ashamed of just how weak you had become. You couldn't even be apart from him without breaking down, without slipping into old behaviours.
How had you let it get this far? How had you not seen the signs before they hit you like a ton of bricks?
You heard the shower door open and shut before feeling Copia’s arms wrapping around you from behind. He laid his chin on your shoulder and kissed you gently on the cheek.
“I love you.” He cooed, “You know that, si?”
“Y-yes.” You responded softly through tears.
“Please tell me what is going on in your beautiful mind?” He kissed you again.
“I’m being so selfish and I don’t know why I’m like this. I should have seen this relapse a mile away, but I didn’t. I–I’ve just been so focused on trying to cope without you.”
“But, cara mia, I’m not gone yet.”
“You will be, though. And I need to be ready. I need to figure out a way to survive, and in all the hustle to find it I somehow fell back into - “You gestured to your body, “all this bullshit. I don’t want to be like this anymore. I don’t want to be so weak and pitiful to you. And this shouldn’t be your problem.”
Copia pulled you tighter against his chest and reached for your hands. He didn’t say anything, he simply held you in the heat of the shower. For a moment you thought he might be crying, but you couldn’t be sure. The thundering of the water was loud and very good at disguising tears. But when he turned you to face him, there was no doubt.
Copia, the strong and confident Papa you had come to love, met you with red, tearful eyes. He kissed you softly on the lips and rested his forehead against yours.
“This isn’t a relapse, amore mio. It’s a small blip in the road, si? You are so strong and have fought so well. I know that you can overcome this with me here or on the other end of the phone. You have so many people around you wanting to help and support you, cara. Don’t let it go to waste in the name of pride. Everyone needs to ask for help sometimes. Even I.”
You close your eyes and let his words settle in your soul.
“I know how hard it was for you to confide in me about this. And even more so in Terzo. I hope you know how brave you are.”
“Y-yes.” You managed, your eyes meeting his. You sniffed back tears, “I s-suppose I am.”
“You are!” Copia smiled as he reached up to move your wet hair from your face. He kissed you gently on the lips and took your face in his palms, “The bravest! Il mio amore coraggioso! And you can reach out again at any time. You will not be my problem because I love you, cara mia, I love you! And while I do not wish this on you, I would help you through this one hundred times over with the same fury and dedication.”
You smiled slightly, feeling the hope restore itself in your soul. Copia, loved you. Like really loved you. And for that you had to fight; if not for you, then for him.
“I-I love you, amore.”
“I love you too.”
“Do you believe me when I say you are strong enough for this? That you can kick it’s metaphorical culo?”
You giggle at the terminology. He did always have a way with words.
“I do, Copia, I-I really do.”

Original Characters Day
Headcanons for Colonel Dr. Alice Munroe - formerly known as OO3
Alice Munroe - or Col. Dr. Alice Munroe to you James Bond - is a SIS/MI6 psychiatrist from my fic 'Warm Body'. She came up through the Army and was 003 for seven years before an explosion in the field resulted in the loss of her leg and severe burns to the left side of her body up to her face. She outranks James Bond and he had bloody well remember it, but is actually quite fond of the retrobate.
Before joining the 00 programme, Alice was once picked as Personal Protection Officer for Princess Eugenie, granddaughter to the then Queen. Alice loathed it and manged to beat the then reigning record by getting herself transferred from the position in just 3 days. How? She went for a smoke on the Princess's balcony, set fire to the 17th century curtains and broke a Ming dynasty vase in her effort to put the fire out.
Alice had absolutely no interest in getting married. She's not a fan of the antiquated patriarchal tradition. Except then her partner, Ben, was not allowed at her bedside when she woke up in a military hospital after the medievac managed to keep her alive. They have now been married for 6 years.
Alice still holds the best long distance sniper record of all the 00s
Alice and Bond worked a number of missions together when Bond first joined the programme. She once jumped into the River Danube and hauled his sorry arse to safety. It was Alice that helped Bond polish up his ballroom dance moves. When she finally received her first prosthetic leg, Bond insisted on taking her out dancing.
Alice is a damn good psychiatrist. She will fight for her patient's wellbeing above all else, and regularly goes toe to toe with M. She became a psychiatrist as the result of the appalling mental health treatment she experienced herself. When you cannot open up to a therapist, it's no use and there was no one with sufficient security clearance.
Alice adores wearing dresses. She owns over 100 and makes no apology for it. She spent almost 17 years wearing nothing but fatigues and combat gear, so now she is making up for lost time. Her preference is for long, floaty, brightly coloured dresses with a touch of sparkle.
Her drink of choice is a Greek Spritz, made with Greek vermouth, a splash of grenadine, lime and grapefruit juice. On a cold day it is an oak milk, double caramel cappuccino from the cafe downstairs.
During her recovery, Alice engaged the services of a sexual surrogate, much to the displeasure of her husband. However, the surrogate helped rebuild her confidence and reestablish their sex life. Ben will never admit it out loud, but the time he and Alice had a joint session with the surrogate was one of his top two sexual experiences ever.
Col. Dr. Alice Munroe is currently five months pregnant with her first baby. They used donor eggs and she will deliver via C Section due to the damage to her hips, but she is absolutely delighted. She is also more terrified than the time she faced down 7 highly armed enemy agents with nothing but a length of rope, a clothes peg and a pen torch.

Reveling in Richonne
#178: The Ones Who Live (11x24)
Y’all the power and impact of Richonne is unmatched. 🔥
Michonne and Rick established a motto between them seasons ago, and now that motto is the final sentiment of the entire show. It’s perfect.
I love that their love is still so alive. And that was evident in these final moments. Like there’s a real endless pulse to Rick and Michonne’s love that keeps them going and also spreads into positively impacting their loved ones too.
So in the show’s closing scenes, we are reminded that this “zombie show” was always about the ones who live. And we’re also reminded that Rick and Michonne give each other and give us so much life.
So for the last time in The Walking Dead, I gotta happy dance over the gift that is Richonne.
Y’all after the flashback sequence, we then see Michonne looking just so regal in her new attire as she writes her letter.
I also peeped she is still wearing the ring around her neck, and I cannot wait for this woman to find her husband. (And also to be officially referred to as Rick’s wife, Michonne Grimes). Like the moment Rick and Michonne first lay eyes on each other in the new show, I might just act a plumb fool. 😂
Michonne looks at the special iPhone sketch of her and Judith with the message for Rick to believe a little longer. And believing a little longer is something she (and us, since we have to wait until 2024) have had to do too.
I love that she has his boots as well. Of course these items found their way to her. Cuz magnets. 🧲
Michonne speaks confidently as she declares that she knows her kids are alive and also that Rick is literally alive. And I love that she doesn’t doubt for a second that he’s out there trying to find her and their family. She knows her family is alive wholeheartedly and of course sis is always right.
They cut to Rick writing his letter and looking rugged in a jacket reminiscent of the murder coat, and it notably has that logo on the back. Homeboy has clearly been through the ringer but still looking fine. 😋
I love that we see Rick with the iPhone for the first time and that these items have been in both his and Michonne’s hands. Both of them pack it in their bag and…they just cherish each other y’all, even in little drawings form. I’m beyond here for it.
Rick then rolls up his letter and places it in a bottle and I may or may not have tried to slow down the video several times to read what the letter says. 😅 Cuz look, if there was anymore unspoken sweet things between him and Michonne in there I need to know lol.
I was sorta able to make out a few new words, but what I did see loud and clear is that the letter ends with, “We’re the ones who live. Rick.”
His letter ends on their mantra. 🥹 The motto they shared keeps him going. He’s sharing it with Michonne in the letter in hopes it’ll keep her going too. I could cry.
Again, Danai’s delivery is great as Michonne says, “I will find him. Because I know he’s trying to find us.” Talk about unbreakable and unstoppable love.
We then get an epic Michonne moment as she rides on a horse in armor and takes out a walker. We had to see R&M be the baddest to ever do it one last time in the original series so this was great. 👏
We also see Rick’s mucky bare feet walk in walker-infested mud as he chucks the bottle with the letter. It’s sweet thinking how many letters to Michonne could possibly be in bottles out there.
Helicopter noises can then be heard as Rick utters urgent “no’s” before tossing the backpack on the boat, that thankfully will find its way to Michonne one day.
Rick is told to surrender and put his hands up and then we see Michonne stopping abruptly on her horse as she’s dealing with a threat of her own, with what appears to be a giant horde before her.
Rick takes out a walker, and looks pissed because this feels like one of the times he might’ve come closest to getting home before being caught.
The way the person on the speaker seemingly exasperatedly says, “Come on Rick, it’s like we told you, there’s no escape for the living,” I have a feeling they’ve been having to deal with Rick trying to escape for awhile lol. And also their bleak “no escape for the living” sentiment is not enough to overwrite what Rick knows to be true, the motto instilled into him by his wife.
And as Rick looks up at this helicopter, it’s the acting just with the eyes for me. 😮💨 Y’all give the eyes their own Emmy and then give Andy several too. Incredible. The story told just in his expressions alone. The teary-eyed frustration, devastation, longing, determination, and defiance. It’s powerful and oh how I missed Andy’s performance as Rick Grimes. Absolutely legendary. 🔥
As Rick looks up at this helicopter with every emotion on his face, we hear Michonne’s calming voice say, “Remember what I said. It’s what he said. Hold it to your heart. It’s true forever.” And ever and ever, y’all. ☺️
And it feels like, while she’s saying that in her letter to their children, it’s also something Rick is remembering in this moment that could feel like an ultimate defeat. Rick is remembering the motto right then and there.
Then we get a bunch of characters joining in on mom and dad’s motto and I love that Richonne’s saying of “we’re the ones who live” is the final statement of the show. At its best, The Walking Dead was always about the living and the resilience of humanity.
And then y’all the final series moments are given to Rick, Michonne, and their kids. Making it crystal clear the Grimes family is this show’s heart.
As Michonne rides off into the distance, determined as ever, she says in her perfect, calm, and assured tone, “We are the ones who live.” (And I really like the music during this whole ending sequence.)
Then Rick places his arms up with a decrepit city and descending helicopter before him as he says in a perfect, resilient, and “you’re messing with the wrong people,” tone “We’re the ones who live.”
I love that the way Rick says it contrasts the surrender of his hands and lets you know, Homeboy may have been caught but he still has a lot of fight left in him because he’s getting to Michonne and their family one way or another.
It was a great visual too to see Rick and Michonne both looking defiant and determined to take on a threat “bigger than them” be it a helicopter or horde. Even in these circumstances, you still feel like whatever or whoever is trying to get in their way is the one in danger. Because Rick and Michonne are trying to get back to each other and nothing stops that. So these seemingly giant challenges are just mere rocks in the road for these two warriors.
And to drive home his mindset further, the scene ends with a determined and defiant grin spreading across Rick Grimes’ face.
Rick’s final smile is a fitting image to end on for the resilient character.
And I appreciate the way it calls back to 7x09 when Michonne instilled in Rick this reminder that they’re the ones who live so they can smile in the face of adversity because, as she said in 7x08, they’re still standing and will keep standing.
And so, as Rick reflects on his love Michonne and her words, he’s able to stand and smile even in what look like impossible circumstances.
R&M’s love is stronger than any circumstances and it fuels them like no other. It’s why it can be believable that they’ll find each other against all odds.
The scene fades to white and after getting a glimpse of where Rick and Michonne are ahead of their spinoff, the series ultimately lands on their legacy.
Because they cut to Judith and RJ overlooking a lush landscape and it’s sweet that these siblings still have each other.
I also adore the visual of the kids as they face away from the camera because we see RJ in the iconic sheriff hat worn by his dad and brother Carl, and we also see Judith with the sword strapped to her back. Rick and Michonne’s presence and impact is still felt so strongly in their precious kids who are the world’s future and the embodiment of hope. Look what Rick and Michonne created, y’all. 🥰
And Judith turns to RJ as she shares the family motto, the foundational belief planted in her heart by her mother, the saying that will push Michonne, Rick, and Judith and RJ forward on their journeys apart until they eventually reunite, as she says, “We get to start over. We’re the ones who live.”
And yes they are, y’all. Yes they truly are. And this whole final sequence was life-giving.
I’m so glad the show knew to end on Rick and Michonne and their legacy. It’s only right. R&M and their family remains the best thing to come out of all this imho. And while that was the Grimes’ family’s final TWD moments, as y’all know...
There’s still a whole new miniseries in store. When I heard the news that Rick and Michonne would be returning to complete their epic love story in a spinoff, I was and still am beyond elated.
What I most want is to witness Rick and Michonne’s grand love story with grounded execution, and this short finale sequence gave me hope they can pull this off.
We are in such good hands with Andy and Danai bringing this story to life. Just their voices and eyes were able to captivate and tell a whole powerful story within minutes during this series finale, so imagine when they have a show dedicated to them.
I absolutely cannot wait! I’m so glad our patience paid off this way. Every time I think about all the Richonne gold in store, from the moment they first see each other alive, the I love you’s, the first kiss, Rick learning about RJ, any and all callbacks, professions of love, fighting battles together, their smiles, and of course their family reunion with Judith and RJ. I want it all, and I think we’ll be fully blessed with so much good stuff.
So this is just the beginning to be honest. Because now that we’re closer to the home stretch of completing R&M’s story once and for all, I want to enjoy reveling as much as I can before it’s all said and done. So here’s to all the Richonne reveling there is to do later in 2023. And here’s to Richonne, for being the undeniable greatest of all time. Thanks for reading. 💜

(Thank you all for the warm welcome!!! Semi long post ahead but hope you all enjoy finding out just how holier-than-thou Bre is as well as getting some context on her current ✨season of life✨)
My sisters in Christ have sent me so many lovely messages wanting to know more about me and my family, so here we go!
I was born and raised in Tartosa. Pictured here are my lovely parents, Gillian (68) and Ayodele (67). My father was an executive for a big corporation and my mother was an author, but they have both since retired. They didn’t raise us to be Christian, but other than that they did a rather fine job raising us girls. I just hope they learn the word of God soon, as their time in this life is coming to an end…
Please excuse everyone’s immodest dress! From left to right are my cousins Femi (35) and Damilola (38), my older sister Samaiyah(37), me (34), and my oldest sister Kyrah (39). I’m the baby of the family! Here we are last year celebrating Samaiyah’s baby shower. She has since had her baby, Milo (6mo), who joined his big sis Diana (7).
Samaiyah and her husband Asahi (37) are both detectives in Mt. Komorebi. Samaiyah seems more married to her career than her husband. She’s even a higher ranking officer than him… When she’s not working, she goes snowboarding and hiking. They’ve climbed the summit of Mt. Komorebi several times (it’s also where Asahi proposed to her!) and while it’s an incredible feat, I can’t help but to think it’s odd she partakes in such… masculine activities. At least Kyrah mostly works from home.
Speaking of Kyrah, she lives in Copperdale and is a video game streamer. She also has 2 kids, Kellan (6) and Kortnee(3). She has struggled with fertility and insists she and her husband Krystian (44) are happy with only 2 kids but I pray for the Lord to open her womb at least once more!
As for my cousins, Damilola is a florist and Femi is a charity organizer for a non profit. They live together in San Myshuno, and they both are unmarried with no children. They both claim they don’t want marriage or children but I can’t expect them to know any better, considering my aunt Genesis is a career-driven feminist doctor and raised her girls in sin-filled San Myshuno. I hope God eventually brings them the one who will change their minds.
On to a happier topic, here’s my handsome hubby Chukwuma (38) and I on our wedding day. We’ve been married 9 years! Looking back I wish I picked a less revealing dress, but hey, we’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! All of our kids names are in Chukwuma’s native language, Igbo, which are usually reverent to God. We weren’t Christian when we decided to do that;We just liked the sound of the names. How amazing it is we picked names that glorified Him before we even knew Him!
Our oldest Nnadi, which means “father God is alive”, is a mini-me in the making! Lucky she turned 6 right as we became Christian, so she hadn’t started public school yet and we could just cancel her enrollment. All of our kids will be homeschooled, praise be!
Next is our 4 year old son Kelechi, which means “thank God”.
Lastly are our 2 year old twins Chidi, meaning “God exists”, and Adaeze, meaning “daughter of the king” (King Jesus, that is!) The twins were a big surprise to us when they were born but now we know they are the biggest blessings God could have given us.
As for Onyeka #5, SHE will be making her grand debut soon. Yes, I’m expecting a little girl! I hope you enjoyed getting to know my family! Until next time, sisters.
With love, Bre <3

Introducing the royal family of Tsayth, the white desert kindom to the south who are mostly a seafaring people due to their land being the most deserty desert to ever desert.
Tsayth is a very practical kingdom. Their monarchs don't take over when their parents die, because they recognise this to be a very vulnerable time in someone's life, and to throw them into leadership of an entire nation at that time isn't practical. Instead, the reigning monarchs select their successor from their children, who take over when they turn 20, while their parents are still alive for them to learn from. They also aren't expected to start having children until they're 30, so they've got a solid decade of experience as well as all the right people around them before they have any distractions.
The fact the parents directly select their decendents mean there's intense competition between the siblings. This is why there are so many of them, because the competition in many instances does lead to death.
In this family, four of the seven siblings had their hats in the ring for the monarchy: Zu, Meng, Tusa and Fei. The twins, Neb and Jira, threw their support behind big brother Zu, while Licha backed Tusa but was easily swayed. Among the siblings, it was clear Zu was the favourite. He was strong, people listened when he spoke, he was uncompromising. Meng is great at boosting morale and keeping everyone under her positive but she's too much of a people-pleaser and doesn't seem like she can make the tough decisions. Tusa is an amazing listener, in that she knows exactly what advice to listen to and what to ignore, she's ruthless when required but excels at getting people on her side--most qualities she kept quiet and hidden while she watched her siblings squabble. Fei is the youngest, the beligerant teenager whose ship once was attacked by pirates and he decided he needed to become king to root out the pirates once and for all.
When big brother Zu turned 20, though, King Weset and Queen Si took him aside, not to tell him he'd be king, but to tell him he wouldn't. This shocked not only him, but all the siblings who had been so convinced he was going to be the one to take the reins. He was supposed to be king! Who could possibly be better among them than Zu?
Tusa, his wife told him, and the twins confirmed it. So the four of them cooked up an assassination plot over the course of the next five years, which they executed when Zu was 25 and Tusa 18.
It didn't go well. They didn't take into account Licha's supporting nature, when he caught wind of the plot and told Tusa. They didn't take into account Tusa's battle training, every bit as ruthless as Neb but more finessed. She killed Zu and maimed Neb, slicing off the thumb, index and half his middle fingers of his right hand and cutting the tendon so badly the remaining fingers wouldn't flex, rendering his dominant hand all but useless.
With all his own skill and training behind him, Neb instantly recognised the skill Tusa had been hiding. She might've killed him, too, but left him alive because that's her style. He may have no use anymore in combat, but Tusa's not about to throw away his military tactics nor his experience in fighting pirates. Physical disabilities, especially from injury and not a birth defect, are pretty much seen as a death knell to the very physically-oriented Tsaythis, so to be allowed not only to live, but to remain in a position of confidence and power, Neb's now got huge respect for his little sister.
The other siblings, too, instantly threw their support behind Tusa, except beligerant teenager Fei, but she's confident she can turn him around. Tusa was crowned queen with her husband Si-an at age 20, and that's pretty much where we stand in the story :D
The original designs for the people of Tsayth were to be black people with grey/blue eyes and blond/white hair. In the general Australianising of the entire continent, I decided last year it'd be fitting to make them Indigenous Australian black rather than African black, so I've redrawn or tweaked the original four (Weset and Si, Tusa and Si-an) to fit the updated look of the people.

? About AU’s
Do you think you could do a quick summary of your AU’s? I get some of them but I’m confused by what others are (Time is cruel but gods are crueler for example) - Queenie
oooooh boy
okay so i’m assuming you mean the aus on my ffxv au list cos if you don’t we’re going to be here all day
…frankly we might be here all day anyway but starting from the top:
ardynson au: pretty self explanatory, explores a verse where nyx is born as ardyn’s son
graveyard of blades: a reveal au of the ardynson au where in a ‘fuck this is bad invasion scenario’ nyx basically goes ‘yo bahamut i’m the accursed’s son come and get me’ and then runs through the crowd of enemies as bahamut tries to kill him
time is cruel: another ardynson au except this time nyx is born as ardyn’s son two thousand years ago and the curse that bamahut puts on ardyn to never die extends to ardyn’s whole line. so nyx and ardyn are both alive, don’t know the other is alive, and finally meet again in the throne room of insomnia in the kingsglaive film
the cruellest cut: an au of time is cruel that is. incredible similiar except cor is also there as ardyn’s shield and husband. all three of them alive but with no idea anyone else survived and it’s basically time is cruel but with extra angst and then extra fluff reunions
that one where aulea is also ardyn’s daughter: again, pretty self explanatory. aulea and nyx are both ardyn’s kids. yes this makes noctis nyx’s nephew.
regisson au: nyx is regis’ son
one more light: a regisson au that involves nyx sacrifiing himself at the end of the game in noct’s place and then time travel happens and noct is, shockingly, not happy that his big brother sacrificed hismelf for him
fractured lightning: regisson au where nyx is captured by niflheim for a few years and experimented on. much angst
blood of the storm: regisson au where half the glaive is full of galahdian noble bastards. libertus is clarus’. crowe is a bastard cousin of luna and ravus. selena ulric is aldercapts bastard daughter. pelna is wesk’s. this entire au is just crack okay
starlight on your skin: regisson au where platonic soulmates are a thing, soulmarks are a thing, the long night happens and nyx is basically the only one left and astrals send him back in time to fix things. he crashes in the past in front of his younger self and oh shit wasn’t i halfway througha chapter for that one?
somnusson au: as you can guess, nyx is somnus’ son. i’m not very creative sometimes
dying inside: first fic in the somnusson au, also on ao3. somnus loves his son and kills him for standing with ardyn anyway. much angst. very hurt. sad.
a lesson in time: sequel to dying inside, also on ao3
the phoenix must burn: more stuff in the dying inside au
prompto ulric au: prompto is nyx’s son
you’re the best thing that ever happened to me: a teenage nyx rescues a baby from a nif lab. he’s a dad now. very cute
lightning flashes (and you are free): a fusion of fractured lightning and prompto ulric. this is the happier verse that’s also on ao3
galahdian royalty: galahd has it’s own kings. (nyx. it has nyx. yes i’m obessed with nyx you might have guessed that by now)
platonic promnoct time travel: the game happens. prompto and noctis wake up 16 and grieving and PTSD ridden and determined to change things. also on ao3 under our past is everything we failed to be
si!iris verse: iris is an oc insert from the modern world. amicitia’s are related to ulrics in this. i haven’t touched this au in years wow
styx ulric verse: nxy and selena have a third sibling. styx is an oc insert with game knowledge who is wesk’s daughter and absolutely determined that her brother is gonna live. makes a name for herself as both an academic and a heretic. half the tag is fake tweets
nox fleuret bastard verse: amatus (mat) is sylva’s bastard son. he runs from tenebrae when niflheim invades when he’s a kid. he becomes a glaive marries nyx makes a life for himself and then oh the captain who is like their father is the man who murdered his mother
virtus fic: oc glaive who died in the long night time travels, understandably has issues, rescues baby noct from the marilith. also on ao3. trying desperatelt to work on the next chapter of this cos i got a really nice comment recently
ramuhson au: again, selfexplanatory. nyx is ramuh’s son
that one au were somnus is actually a decent human being: somnus isn’t a dick. he stands with his brother. bahamut is far more of one by forcing him
ardyn king of galahd verse: galahd still recongises ardyn as their king, nyx is ramuh’s chosen. obviously this causes problems when ardyn appears in the lucian throne room and all of galahd recongises him as their lost king
uncle cor au: cor is nyx and selena’s uncle
si!somnus verse: somnus is an oc insert with game and medical knowledge. is fully determined to save his brother. bahamut doesn’t care and somnus is forced to kill his brother anyway. somnus is cursed and eventually reunites with his brother. one day i will actually write this fic
oc assassin aldercapt verse: aris is an oc thief/assassin reincarnated as aldercapt’s son. sentinal guide au. aris fakes his own death blows up half the palace and runs away to insomnia only to be eventually recognised by arydn who still terrifies him
titus has a kid verse: abo au where titus has a daughter who is being held hostage to make titus do what niflheim wants. she escapes and spends years searching for a cure for the glauca parasite in her dad. eventually joins the glaive under a fake id to do this
cor bastard kid verse: cor has a kid. kid is a nursing student who used ot tutor prompto. he adopted the kid basically
yan conall royal bastard with regrets au: yan is regis’ bastard child. he’s a hunter. he does not realise the kid he saves is actually his brother until too late cos regis - who doesn’t recognise who he is - drags him back to insomnia for a reward and yan is full of many regrets
wolfshifter ardyn au: ardyn is a wolfshifter. on his trip to niflheim, cor comes back with a wolf and a baby. somewhat crackish
aulea has a sister: who is an archaeologist. she’s on a dig when noct is born and her sister dies and anyway noct grows up with an aunt who loves him and is also like fuck that prophecy historically they’re bullshit
ghosts of our souls: nyx and noct are platonic soulmates. when one of your dies the other one follows them around as a ghost. you don’t know you’re soulmates until one of you is dead. there’s time travel. regis is very confuzzled
ardyn and nyx are timelords: ardynson au where ardyn’s mum was a timelady and so nyx and ardyn go on adventures in her tardis
clown and the accursed: verse where allen walker (d.gray-man) is born as ardyn’s son
nyx is zack reborn: self explanatory
apollo kid yeeted into eos: kid from pjo gets a prophecy. gets yeeted into eos. i never got very far with this one cos i forgot to write down where i was going with it
MT reincarnate siblings: a handful of the MT’s are reincarnates. one is Tobirama (naruto). another is a soldier from ffvii. the last is a scientist from solheim. they live in altissia

Recipe for a perfect wife, by Karma Brown
When Alice Hale leaves a career in publicity to become a writer and follows her husband to the New York suburbs, she is unaccustomed to filling her days alone in a big, empty house. But when she finds a vintage cookbook buried in a box in the old home’s basement, she becomes captivated by the cookbook’s previous owner–1950s housewife Nellie Murdoch. As Alice cooks her way through the past, she realizes that within the cookbook’s pages Nellie left clues about her life–including a mysterious series of unsent letters penned to her mother. Soon Alice learns that while baked Alaska and meatloaf five ways may seem harmless, Nellie’s secrets may have been anything but. When Alice uncovers a more sinister–even dangerous–side to Nellie’s marriage, and has become increasingly dissatisfied with the mounting pressures in her own relationship, she begins to take control of her life and protect herself with a few secrets of her own.
I thought this book was going take the "the house is haunted by the spirit of the 50's housewife" or even the "the house is alive" route because of some elements at the beginning but uh, they end up not mattering at all? So that was weird
It was an interesting read, but I didn't like Alice's character/story nearly as much as Nellie's. I didn't understand some of her actions and decisions, thought some were stupid. The parts I liked best about Alice's chapters were when Nellie was mentioned. I kinda wish it was more like The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, in the way that Monique wasn't a big part of the story as a whole but she still had her stakes in it. I did like that, when Alice read Nellie's letters, you can tell there was more to what she was writing
Also, Nellie's chapters had my brain playing Paris Paloma's Labour on loop, it really fits the vibes. It also reminded me of the show Why Women Kill (at least the first season), which I loved. So if anyone has recs for similar book, please please please tell me, I'm desperate
