Wanted to show off Alé and her dynamic with Doey a little more. She's a sass machine, fluent in sarcasm and crank. Her comments tend to be very curt and she is a hard nut to crack or to warm up to.

She is very reckless in her behavior, much to Doey's panic, frequently scuffling with Yarnaby and has returned to Safe Haven badly injured on many occassions, but is too stubborn to change her approach.

On the note of being stubborn, she's also keen on Doey's behavior and will push the guy to sit down and relax. If she could sit on him to keep him in place, she would. She knows he's stressed to hell and back with all the responsibilities he's put on himself and tries to ground him one way or another.

Though she can be rough around the edges, Alé is far from cruel. The other toys were very scared of her starting off, but as they've come to realize she's mostly bark and no bite (only in their case), they have since warmed up to her. She has as well, but would rather die than say it out loud.

Her and Doey tend to shift who resides in Safe Haven and who's outside. Most of the time, Alé is the one patroling the area, but when Doey has to look for something, he leaves the area to her... much to her annoyance.

In short, she's a gruff and snarky toy who is easily annoyed, but cares very deeply for those that get close to her, even if she doesn't say it outloud.

Doctor Sawyer who reunites with his kid

Okay well don’t you just have the funniest family history!!

What happened was, when Sawyer found out he got his gf/wife pregnant(or jst a random lady idk😭) he was very mixed about it. Yes, he had thoughts about being an actual father, he knew he couldn’t help raise a child..in an orphanage WHERE THEY TURN THEM INTO TOY MASCOTS MIGHT I ADD?

So he was saying this in the kindest way possible, he was like

“No thank you.”

And she was like,

“Okay you ############, you’ll never see your child ever again then.”

And then she broke up or divorced him and took you into her custody, raising you as a single mother.

As you grew older you obviously wanted to know more about your father, but all she’d say was that he was a deadbeat and chose his job over his family. Which, you could understand her frustration but I’m reality, you wanted to know more than what he did wrong. What was his job? What’d he do that was so important? Was he a cat or dog person?

So once you were in your rebellion era/chapter/point in time(teenage years) you decided to dig deeper into the whole situation and go through everything your mother had owned to see if you could find any clues about him.

A few pictures of him and your mother were all you found but one photo had something you couldn’t miss.

It was him in a scientist coat with a name tag that said “Harley Sawyer, scientist of Playco.” Playco? Like where Huggy Wuggy came from, where Poppy Playtime came from? He worked there?

Honestly you’re kinda like a horror movie protagonist because the next thing you had planned was to go to Playco.

“20 bucks you won’t do it.”

“Bet.”

Boom. Now you’re at Playco, and searching for your dad. You eventually heard about the rumors of what happened to all the missing employees there but you couldn’t care less, all you wanted to know was how your father was. Or to know if he “died” with those employees or not.

And that’s where the start of Chapter one begins<3

Everything was normal(well as the chapters go), you “killed” Huggy Wuggy, you killed Mommy Longlegs, Catnap, Miss Delight, then you meet Doey. You think he talks and babies you way too much. “But you’re still just a child.” Plz shut up bro-

Then returning back with Poppy, she and Doey talked about the doctor, and they mention the name Harley Sawyer. They want him dead. And they want you to kill him, obviously you said you wouldn’t do that. Because you’re just the sweetest lil son/daughter ever<3

But oddly enough, you’ve actually haven’t seen the Doctor or talked with him yet, only his minions Baba and Yarnaby.

Walking down the hall you used your Grabpack to open the door, you walked through it and suddenly felt something grab you. It was a robot figure with their head as a TV and it grabbed the back of your shirt, holding you so you had to face the voice that was speaking to you.

“Out of all the beings in this world it had to be you that has ruined these creations. My very own child.”

“Huh..?”

“You’ve grown so much from last I saw you, which, was when you were a mere baby. Yet I can’t help but feel angered by your presence here.”

“You're her husband? You’re going to kill me?”

“I would if it was any other child scurrying around this facility like a rat. I have no shame. Yet, I’ll let your mother do that herself. She’s treating you well, yes?”

“Mhm.”

“Good, now leave. Do not come back, and leave Poppy and Doey behind you in your life. Pretend this was all a dream. Goodbye Y/n.”

The last thing you saw was the robot throwing you out into the hall and the door slamming shut, that was awfully awkward. You smacked your head in realization to everything, how he openly admitted that you were his child. And how you couldn’t think of anything meaningful to say.

I’ve got another idea- itd probably fit with the ancients- Idk if you know genshin impact, but the MC is like super underrated. So how about a reader based off them? Like they go from kingdom to kingdom helping others, possibly during the beasts escape as the chaos is happening, all to find their sister, but no one actually helps them. Maybe they eventually reach one of the ancients kingdom expecting the same rodeo but this newest kingdom actually helps them?

I've actually heard and saw some of genshin Impact, but not a big fan as for Poppy Playtime, Cookie Run Kingdom, FNAF, Dandy's World or others, but I'm happy to try !!

There Is Always Hope...

Years... Years that you search to find your sister, (y/scn).... After you're village got attacked and you lost sight of her, all you had from her was a picture of you both on a picnic, you promised to find her no matter what the cost ! You've been traveling the Earthbread for a loooong time. Stoping by to take some resources to your next traveling, or to sleep in a bed and not on the grass/ground.

You've also helped a lot of cookies on your way, you always help not matter if it was for small things or big, you asked if they saw or can come with you to help you find your sister... But no one helped you... You accept the fate that no one was going to go with you... You'll admit, the second reason why you asked them was for not being alone anymore.... You've grown tired of traveling alone... To no one else to talk to, to laught, to defend.....

That, is until you meet the Ancients... First was the Hollyberry Kingdom, you were on the forest, gathering your camp you've made for the previous night, until you heard some explosions not so far from here, you took your sword/blade and ran to see if the cookie were in danger. This is were you meet Hollyberry Cookie, she was fighting against the red dragon who was trying to crush her, you wasted no time to fight alongside with her, she was surprised, but didn't say anything about it.

After Pitaya Dragon was defeated, Hollyberry was laughing at him as he just groump about his loss, she then asked you who you were, and after introducing you to her, she invited you for some Berry jus to celebrate this victory and Her new friendships, you accept, not like it was something special for you, but it was fun.

You then meet Wildberry cookie, her bodyguard, she introduced herself as the queen of the Hollyberry Kingdom, and after some drinks (more like she drinks more then you) and laught, she asked what were you doing here, you hesitated to tell her, expecting the same answer that all cookies told you. You told her that you were looking for your sister, and if she want, she can join you... You were expecting the same answer, but to your surprised, she said "Yes" and with an exciting smile she give you a biiig hug to support and comfort you !!

"Haha ! Don't your worry dear friend ! We'll find her soon ! Don't worry about my duties, it's not the first time I live my Kingdom, trust me ! My shield will protect you from any danger that bary our route AND your sister !!"

You asked her if she actually WANT to come with you, and she said yes again, finally some company ! You were so happy that you hugged her out of excitement, but she give you back the hug.

The next destination and meeting was with Pure Vanilla Cookie, White Lily and Black Raisen Cookie saw you both in the forest and immediately told to Pure Vanilla, he then asked who were you after greeting you both. You and Hollyberry told your objective to find your sister and asked them both if they saw her somewhere... And of course, the answer was no, Hollyberry tap your shoulder as trying to comfort you, Pure Vanilla saw your long face and White Lily and apologies for not helping you much.

You only told them that it was fine and you won't stop search for her as long as your breath, then, came the idea to come alongside with you both, you immediately refuse saying that it'll only bother them and that they probably have more important things to do for they kingdom/duties. But he insist that he'll be glad to join to your quest with his best friend and say that you most need a healer for your next adventures, so you accept them joining your new group.

The next stop was to the Dark Cacao Kingdom, it was Caramel Arrow Cookie and Crunchy Chip and his wolf who actually meet you first, you three were walking in the forest while it snow, then you heard some cookies getting attacked by some brigand and you start to fight against them to protect the cookies who got attacked. Then they came to stop the brigand but saw you all were handling the situation very good after all the enemies were on the ground, passed out.

They immediately greeted Hollyberry and Pure Vanilla, not expecting them to come to their king Kingdom without warning at first, then Crunchy Chip asked you who you were, clearly you're not their bodyguards as he meet before, Pure Vanilla calm him down by saying that he and Hollyberry were joining you to find your sister you search for years. You asked them if they ever saw her somewhere, but no... As expected.... But Caramel Arrow say that, maybe her king saw her and you'll have to meet him, witch you didn't argue with that.

Inside the castle, the the ruler of the Dark Cacao Kingdom was waiting to meet you and knowing why you're here, but before that he got interrupted by Holly erry giving him a big hug as she missed her old friends, Pure Vanilla and you just chuckle a little at this scene. I mean, yes you discovered that she love hugs and she give the one who can actually CRUSH YOU Doug ! But it was funny to say the least, after introducing yourself to him and asked him if he ever saw (y/scan), he tried to remember... But unfortunately no... He didn't, but you didn't lose hope ! You thank him for letting you gather your resources and continue your quest.

Hollyberry say that he can join the team to help you, but he couldn't live his kingdom, there was coming a terrible storm and he have to assure that all the resources for his kingdom were enough until the end of it, but he give you some material to defend yourself against new enemies you'll confront. You thank him deeply for that, he wishes you good luck and hope you find your sister safe and sound, and not like the other cookies, you could see that he mean it.

Your next stop was the Golden Cheese Kingdom, the sun was hot and a little disturbing, at least for normal/weak cookie. You three were walking through the desert to see the Golden Cheese Kingdom, when you reached it, you all start to ask the cookies if they saw (y/scn), but none of them saw....

"What if we asked Golden Cheese Cookie herself ? She's looking at her Kingdom when she go out to fly, maybe she saw her ?.." suggest White Lily Cookie, you all agreed and went to her castle, you were impressed by all the golde there was, no wonder this Kingdom was so well held, Smoke Cheese cookie block your way to the castle, asking who you were and what do you want from their Raidience. "Hey fellas ! Don't worry, they're with us and they need to ask Golden Cheese something important !" Hollyberry reassure to the guard to let them in, as he look at you he guide you three to where the queen was.

When you arrived, she was on her throne looking like a diva as she was waiting for you three, "aah~ ! There you three are ! The other guards aware me of you coming to my home, but who's this ?" She asked as she point at you. After you introduced yourself to the queen, you asked her help to find your sister if she ever saw her.. "Well if you have a picture of her, I may remember if a saw someone like that or not." Maybe there was hope ?!... You gives her the picture you had, as she look at it for a moment... Then something snap at her !

"Wait a minute... I saw a face line that somewhere !" She declared, Hollyberry and Pure Vanilla looked dat each other then at you who was full of hope, you begged her where did she saw her, she start rubbing her temper, as she tried to remember where tehn she say that, it was near a forest, not too far from the Deliciousland Kingdom. Pure Vanilla sight relief, happy knowing that your sister was in good hands as she was near the Deliciousland Kingdom, ruled by Sweet Bleu Chocola cookie, you start to shake... Your friends were worried why you shaking and then you fell on the ground and crying..... After all this time... Finally... You we'll be together once again... You were so happy.. !

White Lily and Pure Vanilla comfort you as the best they can as Hollyberry thank the queen for her help. "No problem, I truly hope you two reunite and can rest, but before you go, have these little jewelry for you and the girl~, hope to see you two soon~" she say, as she clap her hand and one of the servent came with two little box of some golden jewelry, you thank her again and run to the exist while the others were trying to keep up with you (Pure Vanilla and White Lily ���). You couldn't content your excitement and joy, you were finally seeing your sister after so long !! You hoped that she had a great life where she lived after all those years.

Your final stop was actually very far from the Golden Cheese kingdom, it took some weeks to reach out, but you all arrived there. On your way, they others told you about the ruler of this Kingdom, it wasn't a regular Kingdom like you saw, this Kingdom was the most popular, powerful, beautiful and most importantly well ruled. The queen who's ruling on was their spouse, you didn't know she was married to them, White Lily cookie told you about the adventures her and the others went when they were younger, Pure Vanilla say that Sweet Bleu Chocola cookie is super sweet, kind, pure, soft, strong... A really great person to meet, when you three arrived, they weren't lying...

You don't recall or remember seeing a Kingdom this beautiful, no dirt, no poor cookies, even the marche was full of good items/foods, but you wasn't here for that, you search freakently all the cookies, trying to see your sister anywhere as your fellow was trying to call her or asking others, after an hour or two you three stopped near a little park, "Don't worry, friend, we'll find her soon" said Pure Vanilla as he place a comforting smile for you... You return the smile, but you were a little worried about (y/scn)... Maybe she run off somewhere else... Or-

"Oh My Witches ?! HOLLYBERRY YOU'RE BACK !!"

A girl run to your direction and jump at Hollyberry giving her one BIG hug that she returned, "Pure Vanilla ! White Lily ! You two came here too !! Ooh I'm so happy !!" The girl then let go of Holly and hugged Pure Vanilla and White Lily at the same time, it was a cute scene to be honest, the girl then turn to you and introduce herself as Sweet Bleu Chocola Cookie... Wait- The queen the three others had been talking about ?!?

You greet her and asked her if she saw your sister, you showed her the picture and she immediately recognised it. "Oh ! I know her ! She's one of my bodyguard, if you want you can see her ^^" she say, with a smile, you immediately hugged her, thanking her for taking care of her when you weren't there... She just returned the hug, happy to make an other cookie happy, while she guide you to where (y/scn) was, the others told her why they were with you and what were you here for. She totally understood the feeling you were having, her sister too felt that way, and her also when she was alone.

When you got to the place your sister was, you saw her... She grow up so fast... Now she was a strong, young woman.... You almost wanted to cry... "Do you want me to call her ?.." Sweet Bleu asked, not wanted to force you too much, you nod.... still shaking, as she called her, White Lily and Pure Vanilla tell you that everything will be alright... You don't have to worry anymore... When (y/scn) saw you, she was shocked, to say the least... Then almost tear up and run to you and hug you tightly...

After so long... You two were finally able to see each other, be together again like the old days... You couldn't hold back your tears as your hug her back and cried... You thank your friends for their help and support.... Without them, you don't think you'll be able to see your sister again... "Nah, don't worry pal, it was a great adventure we had ! Plus, I told you we'll find her", "I'm so glad to see you two reunited, y/n cookie, it was a pleasure to help you.", "No need to thank us y/n cookie, I-it was nice to h-help ^^", Sweet Bleu just smile, "now that (y/scn) is my bodyguard, would you like to live her y/n cookie ? I assure you, there is enough place for more cookies !".... You just smile as you held your sister in your arms... After all you're not going to live your sister anytime soon..😊

Uh hi. I absolutely love your au so far, the character designs feel like childrens toys you would have, I love the use of vibe? Feeling? you convey with each toy design (my favourite so far has to be either Jerry or '80s' doey). Correct me if I'm wrong but where it takes place reminds me of a theme park with the evidence we've been given so far, no?

YES IT DOES TAKE PLACE IN A THEME PARK!! Kinda, the building is both a factory AND an indoor theme park! Kids can play and talk to the mascots while parents can see a tour of the factory! Poppy Playtime already gave me theme park vibes anyways (especially the Game Station!)

As for this rewrite, I decided that there are no "orphan turned into toy" experiments, as I found it a bit ridiculous and it didn't make much sense story wise. There was no clear-cut reason to why Playtime Co. was turning these orphans into toys besides immortality/ creating a toy workforce. Which yeah, its cool in concept, but also really cliche (especially in mascot horror). I felt like they went in that direction just so they can be "the darkest and most edgiest mascot horror game" (especially with every mascot antagonist dying horribly in each chapter)...

Experimenting on people, ESPECIALLY KIDS, is a huge deal (and a huge risk!) and almost everyone was like "yeah lets do it!!" No one ever comments on where in the world did they even get the funding to even do this?? Doctors/ researchers are expensive, so is equipment, but you're telling me they had enough money to build entire research facilities AND A PRISON??? Idk it gets more ridiculous the more you think about it ToT

Plus these toys were getting really violent and yet no one thought to terminate them?? At all?? Like what were they thinking??

In my rewrite, the toy mascots are just that, toy mascots! Before Elliot Ludwig become the founder of Playtime Co., he was a scientist himself, specifically a botanist! He studied different types of plants and their effect on the human body, his main study being on poppy plants! And through his studies did he eventually figure out the life-altering properties of the poppy flower (which he used to make the mascots).

(Elliot was already shown to be a scientist himself in the main game!)

As for horror, while there will be no "orphan turned into kid" experiments, that doesn't mean that there won't be any experimentation at all. I do have ideas but im keeping it under wraps for now lol

i was gonna mention some of these points too(mnemosurgery, empurata, ect.) but I'm glad someone else somewhat understands my vision.

I'm sorry. Poppy playtime obsession got to me😞

I feel bad for the toys and I won't rest until my mind comes up with a scenario where everyone lives!! However, that need alone is not enough to make me draw something.

While I love the toys' designs bc they're all such cutie patooties, their biology/anatomy just make no sense to me (well, most of them, i have little to no issues with Huggy and Kissy) >.<

That's why my autistic ass (powered by sheer confusion and need to make sense) decided to redesign the characters. Well, not the TOY designs themselves, but rather the ones that are alive and were previously humans- YOU GET IT

To justify my redesigns I also had to rewrite the story a little. Pardon me, but I don't understand how they made human/toy hybrids that are both organic and artificial... This makes zero sense to me, so in my rewrite Playtime Co. created their living "toys" via mutation and crossing human and other creatures DNA. Some Umbrella + Urbanshade shit, yea... Right now I'm done with Yarnaby and Doey, and there's also a Catnap redesign in progress (I'll show him later)

Here are some notes on my redesigns:

YARNABY

- I genuinely tried my best to figure out his vertically split mouth, but after doing some research I realised that this is probably anatomically impossible:')

- my main inspo for his mouth are snake jaw and some resident evil mutants. I used boss forms of Moreau and Lady Dimitrescu from re8 as references, bc they both have these weird segmented jaws, but i feel like Moreau's jaw gives off more of like, Yarnaby vibes, so my Yarnaby's jaw is similar to that of Moreau's

- instead of having fur made of yarn, he has real fur, cuz my Yarnaby is a fully organic creature, a mutated human. His fur is just dyed in rainbow colours, however it wasn't re-dyed since the hour of joy, so he isn't as aesthetically pleasing as he once was (still perfect to me)

DOEY

- again, Istfg I don't get the logic behind this living play dough. If he's made of clay why does he need food... The answers I'll never get. ANYWAY- Since I'm trying a mutation approach here, rather than ??? whatever we see in the game, I thought "what is the most play dough-like creature on earth?" And my mind immediately screamed OCTOPUS. I mean, they're squishy and gummy- They can squeeze through tight spots, they're colourful and look like jelly

- also while looking for octopus references, i found out that they have neurons in each of their tentacles, which allows them to multitask! I thought this was a cool explanation for how Doey's personalities control the body

- so yea, my Doey is basically a human/octopus mutant hybrid. That's it. Although idk how they merged three persons into one living being. My main idea is that boys just fused during the experiments... I'm trying my best here to make sense out of this all, don't be hard on me😞

I HAVE A THEORY A GAME THEORY (About Poppy Playtime cause yes that game is fire)

So this will contain spoilers for Chapter 4 no one is shocked.

But first I'll just tell you what the theory is about since it's not spoilery.

Who is Kissy Missy? What poor person became her?

(Note: There are probably spelling errors here. I'm spit balling here so don't expect anything amazing.)

But I noticed something odd. We know every person who was used for an experiment for an important character except 4 that after chapter 4 became 4.

I always loved Kissy from the moment she appeared like come on She's adorable! Who doesn't love her?

But Kissy? She's just sweet and friendly and honestly just adorable. I mean look at that face!

Important Characters We Know

Mommy Long Legs: Marie Payne

Catnap: Theodore Grambell

Yarnaby: Quinn Navidson

Doey The Doughman: Jack Ayers, Kevin Barnes, Matthew Hallard

Poppy Playtime: We didn't know who she was for 3 chapters, but we finally know she's Elliot Ludwigs's daughter!! YAY!!

The Prototype

Now this is an interesting list.

Poppy and The Prototype made sense since they are two of the most important characters in the game. The Prototype as our villain and Poppy as our call to action. And Huggy also make sense with him being the games mascot and seemingly being one of our bosses for chapter 5!

If we were to compare her to another character, I'd probably go for Doey. They both aid us and Poppy and have good hearts (Well mostly but Doey is a complicated character)

But shockingly we know very little about Kissy herself. I mean we know she participated a little in The Hour of Joy (Insert joke about my user here) But she immediately went back to her spot. She seems to also have bad memories of Playcare, and she was ready to fight us until Poppy stopped up and since Kissy doesn't have those monster teeth like Huggy does and didn't maul us instantly we can assume she has thoughts like us, Poppy, and Doey.

Which is odd. It feels like we should have learned who Kissy is by now. It would have made sense for Kissy in chapter 2! Especially in Chapter 3 with her connection for the Playcare!

But we still know nothing about her which is weird sine she's not that important of a character all things considered. She helps us and saves us constantly but as far as we are aware Kissy has no importance to the plot.

Now time to get to the theory.

Now this is definitely a stretch but what if she has some connection to the player? I mean Harvey Sawyer did suggest that the reason we might be here is because of someone we lost here or something.

Though there are a few holes in this... Our character probably would have known that said important person was turned into Kissy since we are pretty sure that they were a higher up... Plus everyone recognizes our character so Kissy probably wouldn't have tried to attack us unless there was some misunderstanding idk.

I'm just spit balling here but please feel free to add onto this with your own ideas!

This is actually insane, crazy even. imagine watching someone you know and love turn into something else entirely, which is wild. THE POSSIBILITIES OF ANGST.

Huggy Wuggy is sincerely devastated, even then if he didn't know any better. He wished he still could've done something to stop it, in which that he had better paid attention to all four of them. Now look at what they had become! Nearly just like him, only now, that he was more fluffy and had stuffing for blood. They on the other hand were robotic, in-seams designed to combine into one larger bot. He was rather astounded the first time he saw that happen, also rather upset about the matter.

Mommy Long Legs was astounded, and deeply reminiscent of previous memories of the four workers she cherished much. They had helped quite alot and ran the portions of her floor in the factory, she had garnered deep connections with the floor. Which had deeply upset her when she had come to learn of their fates, being turned into robotic toys. Though it was surprising to know they could unite unto one large robot, even far surpassing her size in the matter.

Kissy Missy didn't know what to do, four of her favorite workers in the entirety of the factory, surrounded to the gate of the no return, coming back in nothing at all flesh, robotic parts and in-seemingly no emotional state. Just all there was and is, nearing in size about her husband Huggy, which was startlingly close. Then there was the fact the four could unite into one larger robot, just truly no bounds to the depths of the scientists cruelty.

Poppy was at a lost, depressed as she was. She still had to continue forward in spite of the atrocities that struck the four, she had built decent, if not, great bonds with the four. Yet here she stood, clearly seeing them in all their unholy glory as servants, able to unite as one larger robot in the case of emergency. For what she was, it was rather uncanny, knowing and seeing this all happen to the four.

The Bigger Body smiling critters, without a shred of doubt felt hopeless in their ability to be even able to help the four workers. All four of them were caretakers of the smiling critters, and in which they felt eternally in debt to repay them for all their kindness. Yet it was watching them move around so soullessly, that had simply shred their hearts to pieces in knowing this is reality.

What was CatNap to do? He may as well have played in a part in their undead demise of the path of which they were forced to walk, once creating the memories of good, twisted into something sinister. They were no longer human, just as he, was no longer such a thing. Yet their ability to transform, unite into one large bot was rather intriguing. He thought it would be useful to recruit them into his cause for following his righteous god.

The setting and environment looks amazing but also the new hands mechanic along with the mask ohhhh this is gonna be FUN

Okay rambling about screenshots I took time

First off the environments look great, holy wow

The house itself looks kinda small so idk if that is the orphanage itself or some kind of set. Cause you can see fake sky walls around it, but like this is Playtime Co they would definitely do that to the orphanage also to give an illusion of outside. Either way it looks GREAT and I’m really excited to explore this setting

I’m really curious if all the critters are gonna be utilized somehow. We know about Catnap and Dogday already, especially after the trailer itself. Though there was also the footage of Bobby running down the hall, looking like a normal plushie, and possibly seeing Hoppy in the trailer too. (I’ll touch on that later)

New Poster

Definitely looks like some company propaganda to try and keep kids from being afraid of CatNap. Judging by the files we got before looks like the results were a mixed bag. Considering the gas is there in the poster it’s definitely a company only poster, not something they could sell outside. They manipulated this kids so bad man :(

I don’t think we’ve ever seen that before in this game. Like blood yeah plenty but BONES? They’re definitely amping things up for this chapter and I’m 100% here for it.

Besides that there’s a ton of plushies and such stabbed onto this weird thing. Is it a shrine? It doesn’t look like it could really move tbh, and if it was meant to be alive those parts aren’t doing anything to help it.

I’ve seen a lot of people speculate this is DogDay, which is a valid guess, but tbh my first thought was Hoppy. You can tell they have long droopy ears, which lines up with both candidates to me. Though I think the ears look a bit slimmer than what Dog Day’d would be, plus the angle on the head looks more like they’re dropping from the top of the head rather than the sides. I feel like if this was DogDay the whole head silhouette would be different because of the ears, which makes me lean towards Hoppy more.

I know her toy gives her long pointed up ears, but going off art and animation her ears can definitely fold

So I don’t think it’s out of the question that as a Bigger Bodies being her ears could fold over like that, especially while stuck like this.

Now I could be the one wrong here but I really think this is Hoppy. Won’t know until the game itself though so, I won’t treat either as divinities yet. It could just as easily be the case everyone else is right and it is DogDay, there’s evidence for that as well (Again, I’ll touch on that later).

So much happened here where do I even start

Obvious out the bat I guess, Kissy Missy is back!! And looks like Poppy isn’t ditching us alone either! Man I cannot tell it Poppy is good or not at this point, gray area? Trailer dialogue definitely sounded like she was supporting us.

“We’re coming! Just hold on!”

It’s really nice seeing Kissy back, really excited to see how she’s gonna help and play into this. I’ve been on the stance that she’s good ever since she helped in chapter 2 so this is really cathartic for me lmao.

As for what Poppy says here I found it interesting, like really interesting. Like, hearing it the first time made me think she casually confirmed something massive interesting. Granted, actually thinking about it longer, it could mean something else entirely. But was that the whole point?

“What’s happening down here is bigger than all of us. I need you. So we can revenge on those monsters who’ve tortured you, who’ve tortured us.”

“Those monsters who’ve tortured you”

Now, once I thought about it this is most likely referring to the literal monsters in the factory. Huggy, Mommy, CatNap, so on and such. But that’s not what my initial assumption was.

When Poppy referred to “monsters”, by first thought was the people working at the factory. I thought she said people at the factory tortured us.

I thought she confirmed that we’re a toy.

Once I thought about it longer, it doesn’t actually confirm that. But what if that’s the entire point? A double meaning line?

Now the player being a toy theory is something that’s been around since chapter 1, a theory I’ve fully stood by since then and still do. I like to think that’s why our character is completely silent, we’re a toy that can’t speak. Mute toys is something we’ve seen plenty of in the factory, more so than toys that actually talk. (Unless you count stuff like the Smiling Critters cartoon or the cardboard cutouts, but I’m talking purely living beings here.)

So while this doesn’t confirm the theory, this line is definitely throwing wood into the fire for me.

DogDay

Wether or not the chained Bigger Body above us DogDay or Hoppy, we have it confirmed here that DogDay is featured heavily in this chapter as an enemy. Again, I really wonder if the other Smiling Critters will show up as threats as well. Maybe a mixed bag of good and bad critters. If the chained up Bigger Body is DogDay, I wonder why he chases us after we assumingely set him free.

One note I’ll give that is to evidence for the chained bigger body being DogDay is that in the thumbnail you can see a shackle on his wrist

His arms are also long and lanky, which is why I won’t completely rule out it possibly being him there. It’s just as possible that it is him, both feel very plausible to me.

Though looking at the game footage, I’m not sure if can can see anything on his wrists. Additionally his arms look much wider than the one in thumbnail.

Additionally, the DogDay in the thumbnail looks so much like a…mascot suit? You can see seams and stitches all over him. Even other Bigger Bodies don’t look like that. Which is something I wanna give its own post to to figure deeper on.

So is this even the same DogDay at all?

It’s not completely out of the question there could be multiple DogDays, though that begs the question, what about other Smiling Critters? What about other toys as a whole?

Here’s my prediction on it. One Bigger Bodies experiment, and then there’s smaller ones approximately the size of their normal toys.

I think the DogDay in the thumbnail is a result of the Bigger Bodies testing, and the one actually chasing us is just a smaller more “normal” DogDay.

But if that’s true then it begs the question, what about other critters? We’ve seen a smaller Bobby before, does she also have a Bigger Bodies version?

Do they all have a Bigger Bodies equivalent?

Is there still a normal CatNap?

Again, all speculation but this chapter especially is really tickling my brain.

And finally we’ve got the man of the hour

Man he is so much lankier than I thought he would be. That definitely explains why his face was so high up on that one cam footage though. Here I was thinking he’d be bulky!

There isn’t too much to say here other than CatNap is definitely gonna be an imposing threat, and I’m very excited to see him in game. So far we’ve mainly seen him through silhouettes, and light peeks at small portions of his design. Seeing him better is game is gonna be a thrill and I’m so ready for it!

Additionally, just for the sake of adding on, we’ve seen these posters apparently from overseas get spread around lately

Both of these definitely look like they’re meant to be company only posters, ones you’d find in the schooling and orphanage areas.

The left poster telling kids to go inside right away when recess is up, nothing super deep here. Just a peek at the schooling that had here, and that these kids had their lives completely contained within the factory.

The second poster is CatNap telling Huggy to go to sleep, another attempt at convincing children CatNap isn’t dangerous. If Huggy is fine they will be too, right?

Anyways that’s my initial thoughts and reactions right after watching the trailer. VERY excited about this game, it’s been awhile since I’ve been able to brainstorm on my own over a game like this so I’m really looking forward to what this chapter has to give.

AAAAAAAAA its been a while since ive had any thought about kickinchicken, and sadly, ive gotten over him now😭 (a long time ago, actually) But i know u guys love him sm more than i do so I'll give him some thoughts. Note: some previous posted headcanons that i had while i was brainrotting with poppy playtime might repeat here, but im too lazy to go back and check on that post so here ya go. [Those 'x reader's i made might have a mention on this too] i might refer the reader as "you" or "her" but either way, its the same lol, idk why i keep switching povs T-T

KickinChicken x Fem!Reader headcanons!

Cartoon version:

[Imagine: Reader is any animal you like. The Smiling Critters is a show and all the times you are living is when a child is watching you on-screen]

Kickin often ruffles/pats reader's fur/feathers/head whenever the reader successfully did something

Kickin instinctively goes to the reader's side whenever the critters are preparing to [inhale catnap's bad breathe] sleep

The reader is sometimes the storyteller of the group during sleepovers. Kickin lays on his stomach, rests his chin on both of his palms and watches you read with dreamy eyes

Kickin is prolly the most flirty and pun enjoyer of the group. If someone actually had a counter against his flirt, he would be flabbergasted. You did this more than thrice in the show (dw, these are all child-friendly flirts)

Catnap sometimes fights you whenever you want to tell a story while Catnap wants to make the othe critters sleep. Kickin cheers at you and says "Fight! Fight! Fight! Go y/n, go!" Which makes the situation worse (he receives numerous bombastic side eyes) Dogday and Hoppy interrupts tho

You and kickin are the most sarcastic couple duo of the group. He makes you laugh, you make him laugh, "Ew. You guys are making us cringe" says hoppy. Others nodded in agreement.

Dogday is your best man and woman in a wedding episode "Wait, when did that hap--" (pickypiggy)

You guys share each other's food. And sometimes with Pickypiggy if you two didnt have any food with you

When you guys are chilling, he likes to nestle beside you, bird style✨ He also loves the cuddles and pats you give him (and your attention too, he's an attention seeker)

Despite his confident and brave attitude, he is actually the first one to cower and run whenever the group faces danger, but when you're with him, he pauses from running and decides to shield you from danger (which is most often a boulder in one of the smiling critters' adventures) you get squished, tom and jerry style

His blanket is (your favorite color x color and pendant shape) while yours is yellow with red star pattern

He likes to show off along with his "shades of coolness" that he brings out magically from his 'pocket'. (Typical cartoon character) You match him with your own (favorite shape) shades

Kickin once asked a commission for Crafty to draw you and him together under a tree. The unicorn bought new crayons with over 100 after that

Bigger Bodies version:

[Imagine: reader is the player. Depends on you whether the player/reader is an ex-employee, an orphan that was adopted til adulthood, or random person wandering.

KickinChicken breathes Yellow Smoke, which can calm down any living thing nearby; children, adults, and the reader. It also has a dreamscape-like effect (like what Catnap did in the game). For the BBI experiments and living toys tho, it will slow them down as if the smoke has a "freezing" effect. Some will sleep when theyre weak enough, but this smoke cannot completely combat CatNap's red smoke.

BBI KC (this will be what i will refer him to as to not to be confused with the cartoon one) doesn't like it when the reader goes out on her own

If you chose the reader/player to be an ex-employee; BBI KC will recognize her as the caretaker who showed genuine care to him even as an experiment. As a result, he has a small childish crush on her but set it aside because of survival. (He still has it tho)

If you chose the reader/player to be an orphan; BBI KC will recognize you as one of his old playmates when he was still "alive". He was very protective of you after you encountered him in the factory.

If you chose the reader/player to be a random explorer; he spared you and took interest in your offer to bring him to the outside world. He admired your determination to go back home alive and your luck to deal with the shittiest toy factory in the world. You two worked together to solve puzzles and activate the power switches etc.

When the two of you got outside of a building, you took the opportunity to fly with BBI KC and explored every bit of PlayCare (specifically, after BBI Dogday's chase sequence) You loved grabbing on BBI KC' s talons as he flew up. You had the impulsive thought of leaving it all behind by flying up to the entrance of the cable car but Ollie called before you can even tell BBI KC to do so.

When BBI KC rests, you snuggle up to his chest and he chirps in a hoarse voice. He will also exhale some yellow smoke to prevent enemies from getting closer.

He tries his best to be with you at every second but there are times when he cant (like sneaking into vents or the School)

He hugs you with his wings to keep you warm.

Whenever you're scared, BBI KC always says pleasant things to boost your confidence up. He doesnt like it when y/n shakes in fear.

He got extremely violent with CatNap. Especially that one time when he was about to eat your head.

He has bird instincts to pick up random stuff and pile it near you whenever you're at rest. (he's like building a nest)

If there was food in the game, BBI KC wouldve gotten you lots of it.

He likes playing with your grabpack and often high-fives with you whenever you two activated a generator

He hates ollie the moment interruptor

another poppy playtime thought: maybe the player is here for the prototype. maybe that person they lost, that they love, that made them come back, was the prototype. maybe the player even knew ollie was the prototype, and ollie only kept up the disguise for poppy's sake.

i just don't trust the player one bit, they clearly feel guilty about things (especially when it comes to huggy, he shows up in hallucinations at least twice i think), and their willingness to kill the toys or just watch on as they're being hurt or killed by others (cough. dogday.) is worrying to say the least. there's also the fact that they don't talk or react to things (which could be game mechanics like we're a blank slate to all for each individual player to pour their own personality onto their character. but idk).

and as other people have pointed out, it's weird that the player can't die and doesn't take fall damage. almost like they're protected by something, and/or aren't actually human.

i like the idea that the player is also an experiment, maybe an experiment that looks human (which would explain why some characters call them an employee). they're recognised by some toys (mommy, miss delight, etc) but doctor sawyer didn't seem to know who they were. so they could be a secret experiment by one of the other doctors? or they could be the prototype's own experiment?

i just don't think they're a random ex employee. that would be boring and doesn't really make sense. i think the letter was from the prototype and the player knew that.
