I find it funny that Wild, who has basically a couple years ish of full life experience, comes up with the most insane theories for everything
He assumed that the only other explanation to Four being able to split in Four was. That he was quadruplets who'd been hiding this whole time???
Also apparently he believed that his wolf companion Twilight in botw was a diety (and felt very uhh shocked upon finding out that he was not)
Malon made things worse, telling him about her aliens theory
What's even FUNNIER is that every time Wild expresses any sort of confusion at magic stuff that he's never seen before, everyone else in the chain acts like it's crazy for him to be weirded out by it
Honestly maybe Wild's the only one with his head on straight, rather than everyone else who are just like 'it's magic bro' like no he's right this is weird
I appreciate this because it's very considerate of the fact that he woke up with no memories not too long ago, so he doesn't have much experience to explain the stuff that's 'normal' for the chain. Plus the explanations he comes up with are funny.

bad-mom-sister tried to say she had "covid" but wouldn't say where she was, so this was her excuse for why she would be ditching her kids with us for the ongoing third week in a row and we already knew she was lying since everything leading up to this seems like she per-emptively planned on leaving them with us and disappearing (such as bribing me and failing to elaborate it would be longer than what she claimed, and leaving her kids' car seats in my mom's vehicle, which she usually does just before she runs off) but now my brother found intel that she's actually been at another rez the day after she claims to have had covid so at least we know we were right in how she was lying
#my brother is always the one sussing her out because she's stupid enough to post it on social media fhuhfusd#the chain of events goes thus:#the day after my birthday my sister bribes me with $200 (which includes the $100 she owes me)#specifically so that if I take the money then she'll take that as me saying 'yes' to babysitting#(she also lied and said that she asked someone else before me to make it seem like I was her last option. she lied.)#turns out she failed to mention there was an after-school event she and my mother were supposed to attend#but made it sound like I'd only be watching the kids for 8 am to 4 pm. i end up having to watch them for the full day and night#mom comes back. turns out sister didn't even show up for the event because she 'wasn't feeling good'#mom and aunt drive by my sister's apartment. the vehicle she's using isn't there and her apartment is dark.#sister doesn't come home for 3 days despite telling my mom she'd be picking up the kids. she ignores our calls.#the other day she tells my mom she has 'covid' & does not provide evidence of this.#lastly... brother sees a tiktok of her on the other rez the day after she claims to have had covid.

I like to imagine Wild just. Didn’t speak upon first meeting with the chain. No one thought anything of it of course. They just believed he was mute.
But one day.
Wild and let’s say, Legend are patrolling together, and Wild hits his arm on a tree or something, and yells out “FUCK” in the most posh, British accent that ever was spoken. And Legend is just in shock, because 1. He thought this guy was mute, and 2. He didn’t even know it was possible to sound so fancy while saying fuck.
And then Wild turns to him, and says (while still in a heavy British accent): “No one will ever believe you.”

My best friend and I moved in together with his closest friend from his MA program, and while I had met her before (the friend; my bff is a man), we hadn't spent much time together because I've never lived away from the West Coast (and only two years out of the PNW) and she's never lived outside of North Carolina and only briefly visited the PNW once, when she went to Portland last year.
It's been a delight to show her around the PNW and realize we need to explain things that are just sort of omnipresent in our lives. The bff and I were casually griping with each other about having to run an errand to Trader Joe's at an inconvenient hour, and were telling her, "it's okay, you can stay in the car and avoid the people if you want" and she was like "NO I MUST SEE IT, I'VE ONLY HEARD OF THEM" and nearly ascended to another plane when we showed her around the store.
The bff and I grew up in the same town in NW Washington (him for his first 18 years, me from 9 to 19) and he lived in Bellingham and Seattle for years before he went to NC for grad school (I went to the SF Bay Area for mine, a very different experience). Both of them are hardcore coffee aficionados, but he struggled with the different Coffee Ways of the South, so for the true PNW experience they want to tour various indie coffeeshops next.
Also, she adores Kaidan in Mass Effect and we were like, oh, is your passport up to date? We could take a trip sometime and show you your boyfriend's beloved English Bay. It's very beautiful :)

me: Actually, it's worth going to Vancouver BC for its own sake as well, it's truly spectacular. We used to go all the time as kids.

I bought an actual iron cross from a flea market and I loved the thing, my Mother never let me wear it anywhere, thankfully ad when I was like seventeen and (grownup) I threw it like a skipping stone into my towns lake out of embarrassment on multiple levels hgjfkdsa The Prussia obsession never left tho and I after then event read like four books about Prussian history and Teutonic knight history and military warfare and Prussian army victories. i just draw a fuckload and observe the human body and how it moves at all times and use references and draw and draw and draw summore 👍 u may not now how tf muscles link together but with plenty of drawing and research it will eventually click into place and you'll Get It lmfao
