I sometimes wonder how comes you ended up SO attached to Damian specifically? When you first appeared you was just one of us Micolash simps, but before I've noticed it is just Damian everywhere ggjhggkj Sorry if you've answered somewhere already, but what made you so obsessed with Damian? What was that thing that made you see his potential and appeal the way you do now?

Well, yes, you were right to point out that when I came here, I was mostly interested only in Micolash! But gradually getting used to the character, you start to think about his surroundings! And if Edgar I liked from the first glance and he always will be my favourite nerd-accountant-church boy with issues, then Damian I just ignored at first xd And in the game did not really notice him, although he stands out among the phantoms - Loch Shield, ability to heal with choir bell, Mensis cage (AND his amazing look. Long hair and tired old face? Ooooh, I'm in). The cage in particular makes you think that he is a very difficult character which belongs to an enemy fraction and fights on your side. Well beyond that, it was worth taking a closer look at him and it all went on its own :'D

Most of the fandom sees him in a similar way - caring, selflessly giving of himself to Micolash, loyal to the core, a bit slow due to age, and cozy man. My first vision of him was also like he is an absolute angel, the purest creation in the entire game! That was second phase of my simping I think xD Granddilf with the biggest heart and purest soul, loyal servant of his beloved one - oh my god!! Makes me go crazy because I want him to be respected immediately, be loved and cherished. Maybe he is my type? I don't know. Old, really OLD man with loving heart and I-i-i-i... melting...

One of my headcanons is that Damian can kill a human, do crimes, cruel medical experiments (he is a Mensis scholar after all) but he can never hurt a child! ^^^^ There is him with little Yurie, Micolash and Edgar, and image I drew after a cool discussion with Fantomette! We talked about possibility of Edgar being Micolash's son, which means that Damian could possibly be his godfather xd

I mean you can put Damian in ANY headcanon and he still be kindest man ever existed.

In myvision of lore he helped Rom when she felt really bad in Byrgenwerth, was one amongst three people in the whole college who supported Caryll, he protected Micolash his whole life, he was trying to soften Micolash's deeds and didn't want him to involve innocent children in his experiments (as much as adults. But I believe that Yahar'gul people were sort of fanatics so there were many volunteers for School of Mensis medical stuff), he was the one who will always do his best to help whenever you ask.

And my poor old man is also a saddest creature, because the fact is a fact - no matter if he hates or loves Micolash or just fights against his ideas in game, Micolash is in a Nightmare and Damian is here. I shipped Damicolash and it was really bittersweet. Mico dies and what is left for Damian? Only grieve and sorrow?

Damian/Yurie - bitter end, Damian/Rom - bitter end, Damian/Micolash - bitter end, Damian/anyone else - bitter end! :^)

Anyone else except sir Gremia! (This man deserves another post he is also so complicated! My husband KNOWS how much I adore him. Many of our daily jokes include him lol) Gremia has a strong need in an "adult/mother" archetype and also in "wife/lover", he needs someone who will pat his head and whom he can protect. And Damian needs someone to take care of, to protect and to be protected by that someone (Theme for another post :Р)

Damian, who gave love but didn't receive it, who did his best for Micolash but ended up leaving the Mensis School because his beloved crossed all bounds of sanity, who believed in Kos, his goddess of mothers and children, who genuinely tried to help everyone - I wanted him to be happy.

It really concerned me and I think then started the third phase of simping, when I found out that Sir Gremia exists and Damian just can't be perfect (it's so wrong and boring. I love when a character is like alive person, so it means they are problematic! There are no "normal" people)

I have to say, as you mentioned, I have seen him as a chad, attracting everyone to him xD But right now for me he has flaws, he can be very annoying sometimes, plus overprotection of Micolash (I think Micolash even got tired of him. Sounds like an absolute Micolash plus that may be a reason he let Damian go from serving him), weaknesses and traumas, cruelty and coldness in his heart, and a strong attachment to the past. But he's the kind one. And that's what hit my heart the hardest way. He is player friendly for his own unknown reasons, but I believe his destiny and talent is to lead and protect, which is what he has been doing all his life.

I write a fic about him and Gremia right now, connected with the early Healing Church and I want to put there all my headcanons, big and small and finally finish his story and give him the end of the game that he deserves

Sorry for the wait, I just realized I needed to get my brainrots in order (?) and I have a few to share today:

- Canon Ranni and the Tsaritsa are a lot alike, divine-adjacent royalty associated with frost/Cryo. Also, Cryo users all seem to have a contradiction or irony in their life, i.e. Kaeya being a Khaenrian who protects Mondstadt, Diona a bartender who hates drinkers, Rosaria a nun who doesn't worship the gods, Aloy a Sony character in a Chinese animesque game, etc. The Tsaritsa is a goddess of love who has no love left for her people, a god who is (possibly) rebelling against the very order that usurped the Dragon Sovereigns and propped her kind up in the first place. Ranni (and by extension Ranni!Reader) is an Empyrean, chosen by the Greater Will as a potential new vessel for their will, for the Order they have forcibly imposed on The Lands Between, yet Ranni turns her back on them and forges her own path, no matter the cost.

All of this to say, imagine R!R and the Tsaritsa properly meeting for the first time, each laying their cards on the table (to an extent) and oh, finding something of a kindred spirit in the person opposite them. I can just imagine R!R saying:

"I think we shall get along just fine, sister."

Word spreads, and R!R proceeds to never clarify if they meant it literally.

- So the original gods of Teyvat were the Dragon Sovereigns. Let's assume the Creator made them as well. What if their form reflects that?

I imagine R!R initially wakes up in Teyvat in their original body, AKA the flesh they once discarded during the Night of Black Knives. When they recreate the events of that Night with some poor fool in Godwyn's place (I know I orginally said Focalores, but lately I lean towards Raiden or the imposter themselves) their new doll body more closely resembles their original form - you know, red-haired and Just Big like their parents (still with four arms, though). Half of their ghostly face is sort of overlaid on their physical one, like a spookier Phantom of the Opera mask.

Again, all of this to say: imagine R!R with spectral horns and a spectral dragon tail. Now they match with Adula. R!R would be imposing even without them, but with them, they command attention, perhaps even fear.

- Speaking of Adula, I wanna expand on that one brainrot I sent - in Teyvat, Adula has a half-dragon form, tail and horns and claws and all. My idea was 'Rhaenyra Targaryan, but pale and scary apex predator with white hair.' And as I was playing my catalysts only Genshin account, I realized something - the face I was picturing would look remarkably similar to Neuvillette.

Like, half-dragon Adula would be much scruffier than him - imagine the Lazuli Robe, but with a good portion of the skirt unevenly torn off, and something like Rennala's leggings underneath. No gloves or shoes, just simple cloth wrappings. A veritable ragamuffin of a grown woman, the Creator’s draconic equivalent of Scary Dog Privilege, but between the white hair, stoicism and intimidating aura, she looks like she could be the Chief Justice’s long-lost daughter.

Rumours spread, and Neuvillette neither confirms nor denies them, because - well, he doesn't remember, and for all he knows, Adula is related to him somehow.

I've run out of brain juice for the moment, so I will pose you a question: how do you think Neuvillette feels about Furina? I don't mean shipping, but like, what does he think of her as, in relation to him?

Exasperated, maybe. Furina is an Archon, and very much flamboyant. Neuvillette is devoted to his duties and the nation he works for. To me, I see Neuvillette as sort of a tired, almost fatherly/brotherly figure to Furina. Sure, you can hear the annoyance, but I'd like to think he's gotten used to it. It's just his Furina shows herself to others.

Side note: I don't really mind people shipping them. I can certainly see it, though; it's just not for me, really xd

Hi, Ben!  I hope decorating continues to go well!  And I’m curious about your zoo game you’ve been mentioning.

Hey B! It’s progressing steadily. I’ve almost finished my hallway in terms of floor and wallpaper and am now doing the smaller bedroom. (Only thing left in the hallway is the baseboards/skirting boards? Idk in Dutch we call it a plint. I had to look up the translation.) The game I’m playing atm is called planet zoo. It’s pretty fun, you have complete freedom to build your own zoo and design habitats, signs, and buildings. I recently build a train station:

Including shops, decorations, and a bunch of other stuff. It’s pretty neat what you can do in the game.

So, I saw DP&W a second time (did I tell you that already?  My grasp of time is even worse than normal lately.)  Anyway, I feel like I managed to pick up on more stuff that I missed because I knew what to expect and was less overwhelmed by all the “EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING SO MUCH!!!"  Although I maintain my views on the Odyssey incident, there is definitely an absolute vibe of "pushing the line as close as Disney will possibly let us”.  Like I’d noticed it the first time, but holy shit, that second time was even more in your face.  (Also still stand by the potential for some flavor of Scott/Jean/Logan in his past based on how he talks about them, because why not add a little more trauma for him?  XD )

Something I hope make an appearance of some variety in someone’s fic: Yukio convincing Laura (and Vanessa?) to participate in a back and forth contest with Wade and Peter (and Remy? [Shhh, let me pretend the TVA got him out]) to send each other videos/TikToks of themselves doing girl group and boy band music video dance routines.  Piotr and Dopinder are the (theoretically) impartial judges, while Blind Al is allowed the tie breaker vote when needed.  Shatterstar (can’t remember his civvie name offhand) joins whichever group he feels like at the time.  There’s no real stakes, but there’s an ongoing extra level that true bragging rights will belong to whoever gets either Negasonic or Logan to join in first.  (I at least think this would be very entertaining, but I admittedly may be a little slap happy at this point.)

What do you mean pretend? Of course he got out with Blade and Elektra. I will die on that hill.

But yeah that’s brilliant actually XD. I don’t think Laura herself would participate but she’s definitely the type to egg on others to be stupid. And then laugh at their stupidity. (And Peter, Wade, and Remy would have a fucking blast.) The three girls are watching them with popcorn buckets and Mary Puppins on their laps.

Also, Logan getting to experience some joy in his life.  A lot of the characters he seems to end up friends with (Kitty, Kurt, Wade, etc) seem to be the “unrelentingly cheerful and upbeat in the face of severe horror and trauma” types, which I feel is good for him.  He needs those kinds of people in his life, whether he would agree or not.  XD 

He does 😭 I like to think he’s secretly very grateful to be surrounded by them, even if he’s grumpy about it due to the over-stimulation. It’s very easy to fight for people that bring him that much comfort and joy.

And just because I feel like it’s been a while since I offered a purely NSFW suggestion/thought:  Wade makes WAY too many pegging jokes to not be a switch (and it hasn’t been THAT long since I saw the first film), so consider; Wade getting railed by Vanessa while Logan rides him like he stole him (bonus here is that he potentially can see both of them as this happens without turning his head, presuming his eyes haven’t rolled back into it.)  Alternatively; Wade getting his back blown out while buried inside Logan, who feels full and protected and weighed down in the pleasantest way possible, and Vanessa gets to enjoy how seeing how content and satisfied everyone seems afterward.

I very much like the way you think. I agree, I think Wade is more a switch, but Logan is a bottom. Pillow princess. I think that’s also the most kind to any partners tbh XD. Considering he has an adamantium skeleton... yeah no he’s lying on his back/belly. There’s also a lot of people that have this headcanon that Logan extends his claws when he cums, but I tend to partially agree with that. I don’t think he does it every time, I like to think that in 200 years he has some control over the snikt. But when he’s overstimulated beyond compare (or any other intense emotion), then yeah they come out without him meaning to. Because Idk about others but not every orgasm is higher than life all the time.

I had a lot of time to think about that one when I rped Logan a decade ago, hahhaha.

Oh, and it’s amusing to me to see all the art of Logan flinging Wade like a discus, because I remember there being a running joke among my friends many, MANY the year ago about Colossus or Beast picking up a (comic appropriately sized) Wolvie and hurling him at an enemy.  Not sure if this was actually something from a comic or show, but I remember they always called it a Fastball Special.

It is very much a thing in the comics, yeah XD. Fastball special incoming!

also scout loadout reveal! ive been playing him more recently because i love his lil outfit so much so i just knew i had to draw him xD what happened was i was standing on a block in the community map purple fix which is the only map my usual server runs and a spy decloaked RIGHT on the block i was standing on right next to me oh my god i had a heart attack 😭 scared me so much i just turned off the game and than immediately after logged off my computer because i was playing with a steam friend and felt too embaressed to tell him i left because someone playing spy like youre supposed to scared the fuck out of me

fun fact i only play botplay, idk if ive ever shared this? this is my usual server because no one ever joins it but me and the bots are way too stupid to play spy or sniper, like yk standard valve bots. they really like standing completely still and vulnarably out in the open too. if i ever made a server id just fill it with stupid bots and make it so you cant play spy and sniper because i get so mad when i have to fight either of them lol

Apparently nothing, if you missed the fact that they're given on the same day xD But if you don't even give it a case number "officially", then you'll get case #xxxxxxx-A or -B. (Also, it's funny that it's MAG 15 and MAG 150. Like, just added a 0 xD)

So I looked up Cheadle. I don't think I've ever seen a neighborhood like this on the mainland of Europe! These almost identical rows and rows of houses is something I've only encountered in the UK on this side of the pond. We totally have neighborhoods with rows of houses here, but every house looks different in shape or color or even style, all have different driveways, houses are positioned differently on each lot etc.

Tell you what, I live in something that’s structurally build like a suburban neighborhood (I don't know what you actually call that in English...), just not near a city, it’s in a village on the country side. God I wish it was dead. There’s always so much going on, so noisy, it drives me crazy sometimes. And it's not like the other people living here seem unhappy, they like the buzz, they love getting randomly talked to by their neighbors and make stupid small talk...

Why did all the Road, Street, Way etc. get static but not the "BUY NOW"? I think that should have gotten supernatural attention too!

Why was that call able to come through? Was the statement-giver a victim because he lost all contacts? Was it the impression that nobody would ever think of him again? "We’re working on it, the two of us. We’re not exactly back together yet, but I think it’s going well." Glad to hear something like this at the end of a statement. I don't think I would be able to get over a situation like this, cheating I mean, but some people can work it out and that's good for them!

"I checked to see if I could find anything about Yotunde Uthman, and I did find a few old social media profiles, but I wasn’t able to get through to any family or friends. As far as I can tell she disappeared a year ago and nobody noticed." Yeah, that sounds like the quirk of this particular manifestation was about people without anyone left to think of them, to worry about them, to care about them in any way or shape, even if it was just anger.

JON: "The Lonely is possibly the most insidious of the powers, I believe." Totally not biased right now xD (I'd say that the Web is the most insidious. Very subtle, gets you when you least expect it, plays the long game...)

I'd assume none of them are actually "working" any more and are mostly doing their own research. Feels hard to believe they would still file fake statements for example xD Still, this begs the question whether not doing work for the Eye would make them sick. Staying away from the Institute did that to Tim (MAG 90).

JON: "What about the Unknowing? We saved the world." MELANIE: "Did we?" Does that count as foreshadowing?

MELANIE: "And he’s still doing harm. You ever think that maybe this whole ritual business is just an excuse, and that we’re all part of some huge, miserable fear machine?" JON: "I’ve… considered the possibility." Does THAT count as foreshadowing? xD

MELANIE: "Right, well. If I’m just another cog, maybe I can’t leave the machine, but from this moment I’m not turning. I’m jammed." Too bad she already fulfilled her purpose... But if it hadn't been Melanie Elias or the Web would have found another solution.

Hey which media/story/franchise is your liztlie AU based on? I've been trying to figure it out based on context clues and I'm getting no where. Please insert long ass info dump rant below.

The Liztlie AU is based on the Fallen London universe by Failbetter Game studio! Fallen London is a decade-old browser game that’s updated regularly. It’s excellent. There’s also a PC game called Sunless Seas, which was my introduction to the fandom and still some of my favorite content. After the success of Sunless Seas, they made another PC game called Sunless Skies, which I love lore-wise, but for some reason can’t get into playing. (And now they have Mask of the Rose! Which just came out on the 8th! Also set in Fallen London, but a prequel to all of the games.)

For some background, Fallen London and Sunless Seas are set in the same location and same timeline. London as a city, has been pulled down into the cave called the Neath. (Mask of the Rose is set just after the Fall happens.) There are several different London factions, but most importantly, on one end of the Neath, there is a Gate. Sunless Skies is, strictly speaking, a possible AU timeline, set after London discovers and opens that Gate to a realm called the Reach.  

Sunless Skies is its own beast; all the lore in Sunless Seas and Fallen London is dialed up to 11. The focus is on either allying or destroying the 'Great Chain of Being', which includes everything from the industrialist time-manipulating nightmare London has become, to talking rats, to the “Gods”, the Suns of each realm which feed off of the souls of their inhabitants. The game developers did a great job at expanding the world of Fallen London in Sunless Skies, and there are several maps you can play through, a few dozen storylines, and a lot of cool content. (10/10, recommend. Although as fellow rock-eater, you might prefer Sunless Seas. It’s always a tossup.)

So because PC gameplay isn’t enough, people enthusiastically made an RPG out of Sunless Skies! Enter Grant Howitt and Chris Taylor. The Skyfarer RPG system is one page long. I’m biased because I hate long, complicated, number-based RPG systems, but I think this RPG is awesome. It was meant for short campaigns, it’s a d10 system, and your character is designed around being one of the officers on a Skies locomotive. Easy, inventive, and flexible.

Enter two ADHD geologists and a pandemic:

@paleomancer hit up our friend group one day and asked if we wanted to play a oneshot RPG in Skyfarer. We were socially distancing and mentally traumatized nerds, so of course the answer was Yes. And the oneshot was great! We made our characters, played the game for a few hours, finished the oneshot plot, and successfully carried our passenger to Elutheria along with her illicit books. We liked it so much we agreed to keep playing every few weeks just to keep in touch during the pandemic.

This was all well and good until I lost my mind playing Westlie. My dipshit friends (affectionate) thought it was a great idea for me, the First Mate, to be promoted when our captain kicked the bucket. I hadn’t written fiction since college, but I started writing again as I fleshed out her backstory and the DM and I crafted her sister, Morgan. Then I just kind of kept… creating stories and toying with different ways for Westlie to develop until @justanormalseagull and I were playing around with the Found Family/Adoption trope. She'd played Lizzie’s character, and in a burst of inspiration, I realized the plot of our first few Skyfarer seasons would still work well if Westlie adopted Lizzie and never left London. So I casually wrote five chapters as a gift, fell down the rabbit hole again, and now the Liztlie AU is a 200k monster. xD

So to really answer your question, the Liztlie AU is an AU of our Skyfarer Game, which is a translation of Sunless Skies, which is an AU of Sunless Seas, which is an offshoot of the ancient, niche, Fallen London browser game. xD The context clues are piecemeal at best, haha.

But the nice thing! At this point, the Liztlie AU is its own standalone story; it starts at the 'beginning' of the Skyfarer campaign, so you don't need to know anything about the Pyrrhus. And it's set in Sunless Skies, but I explain 90% of the world as Westlie learns about it anyway. Both aspects are basically Easter eggs for readers to enjoy if they happen to know. Which makes the absurdity of what I'm writing even greater because the AU is kind of my own novel now? But also, most definitely not.

10. Your favorite ost?

Oh, this is definitely Living Failures! It was the very first Bloodborne OC I've ever heard though. A friend that played From's games shared it with me and back then I didn't pick instant interest in the game (unlike how when I've heard Micolash's theme...), but the music was AMAZING. It was the coolest videogame soundtrack I've heard in years, and I sat until 5 AM that night listening to that track on repeat. Because it got me so hyped I've lost all sleep, that's why!!! Still remains my favorite track, just... absolutely unrivaled buildup, beautiful instruments, and of course, AAAAAAAVEEEEE AAAAVEEEEE STEEEEELAAAAAAR. When I was obsessed with that track back then I of course could not appreciate the lore significance and how well in conveyed the absolute reverence, anguish, yearning and desperation for salvation from the 'stars', so now I love it even more. It is one of the best tracks in the game, it didn't need to be attached to an epic battle to be epic.

13. A cut content you would have wanted in the game?

God, how this is even a question? Of course, OF COURSE, what else it can be other than...... ARCHIBALD'S [EXAGERRATED LIP-LICKING]-

sdfhfhsghfsd okay okay but seriously now xD There is... a lot of stuff. Almost all cut content of Bloodborne is removed in such an elegant fashion that you can sort of still discover how probable it is it upon vague clues... as if it wasn't removed, but hidden (Rom gurl what you doin THIS time). The perfect example is Annalise's unborn baby whose mention was patched out very early after launch, but you can still conclude it from how both Annalise and Arianna lose melanin in their hair and from that bloody trail leading to Annalise's under skirt area.

However, it is for THIS reason why a lot of cut content of Bloodborne is BETTER stay cut - because it creates a more challenging lore riddle! Isn't it more fun to deduce a lore bit using your own observation and analytical skills, instead of just being told what happened exactly? From Annalise's unborn baby to 'if there is Flora would not there be a counterpart named Fauna?', things better stay untouched and create a mystery!

But there is a different kind of cut content as well, and I am talking about…

I owe this discovery to @val-of-the-north , and also I believe @nymerias-wrath confirmed this detail (she tends to know absolutely EVERYTHING about cut or patched out content so I'd recommend asking her for any clarification you ever need). It sounds like such a good idea! I presume the lake refers to the one Rom is guarding, and again, a bird chirped to me that you'd end up in the upside-down Byrgenwerth. (I really need to gather more solid sources now that I am talking about it...) I still adopt it in my ideas and make it so that Moonside Lake used to be the portal into the rest of Byrgenwerth (and that's how Edgar found Micolash), but Micolash 'closed' it when Edgar had dick brain moment and spilled him the truth just because he was a simp -_- And sent some of the Shadows he had serving him as Mergo's "dad" as a bonus loool.

Not to mention I fucking L O V E Micolash's cut dialogue soooooOOOOOOO fucking MUCH. Just… everything about it. I am, in fact, not all too happy about how we only meet him in the "end" of his way, already fully insane and gone, when cut dialogue suggests he STILL has a struggle left within him, between his human side and 'madman that only cares for higher plane' side (Adeline moment). It was just… so tragic. Like… I get that after everything player been through, meeting him SHOULD have been a comic relief moment so the player recharges and still has emotional energy to care about plot's culmination… There was just no room for the 'betrayal sequence' I suppose? …except there was, and I think the devs could have elaborated Nightmare of Mensis more, make us see Micolash as a friend NPC that we go back to during Nightmare questlines, someone that grows on us to the point we see him as Doll v.2 (maybe he could even level us up too, or give us special benefits in exchange of Insight). So, instead of recharging player emotionally with hilarity (or annoyance, depends on how you feel towards Micolash's "battle"), we could have been recharged by the fake sense of peace and comfort, see him as someone interested in freeing Mergo just as much… and then HAHA LOOSER GOTCHAAAAAA. The only good thing about the decision to make him more plain is that 'traitor' is the fact that betrayal sequence is THE ultimate imba of Tumblr sexymen, and if he did betray us, he'd have even STRONGER grasp on the simps. o_o hoooo boy… There'd be NO survivors....

24. Share a fond memories.

I presume this must refer to fandomry? Because every single moment of playing Bloodborne is already a good memory. xD Hmmm... I already mentioned that time when I got an anon ask on my 'formal' blog, saying 'can we get random alfred hcs'? I felt extremely honoured that someone wanted ME to share the ideas about a character they liked, especially when back then I was just an awkward asocial lore person in the fandom and didn't pose myself as a writer upon request, or just a writer. It is because I cherish that moment of trust so much I avoid saying unflattering things about Alfred despite having grievances with the character. x) It was just such a good memory that I never get tired of bringing it back!

I also have a very good memory of a certain day. That day I was able to catch my coworker stealing money from the cash register (!) and attempting to frame me (!!!), using nothing but my amazing detective skills, so I was already pretty hyped. I was ranting to Val about it in a VC over phone on my way home. And imagine how much more joy and unhinged happiness I felt, when during VC I opened Tumblr and saw the ask celebrating that 'finally good Doll takes are picking up and people are giving her a justice instead of seeing her as gross sexual object and then claiming to love her'. I am paraphrasing but you must recall that one because you clearly got an ask from the same person xD Just... one "victory" layered upon another, and I've felt such intense mania and CHEER, that the raw power of emotions made that day a blinding, bright spot somewhere in the record of my life. This is what happens to a mf when they barely ever feel real happiness and just pretend to look alive. Maybe it was not a big deal in retrospective, but it made me feel DRUNK in happiness. ...so drunk that my response was not very nice and more like 'HAHAHAHA MFKING LOOOOOSERS WHO IS THE BEST LORE PERSON NOW HUH FUCK YOU ALL I AM FUCKIN BALLIN'' that I still feel a bit guilty about ^^"" But it was one of my best memories nonetheless.

Out of a bit more personal stuff, I'd say that you and @heraldofcrow are a very fond memory, and also @jarognieva . You guys sticked with me through everything, even when I started to genuinely spiral to my worst and fully embraced the prospect of you all being sick of me, you still chose to stay mutuals. Seeing you grow from a shy user to someone with very elaborate ideas and a lot of passion was an absolute delight. And I've got to see how much your art improved over time, and how Crow started to draw. I am just glad that I got to at least see you guys get better and make more friends and improve your skills.... (and seeing how much I rotted Crow's brain with overly specific lore bits when I saw her insane theory ramblings about Vilebloods AHAHAHAHAHA.) Like... just watching you guys was a great experience, getting to talk with you and to exchange the ideas is even more than I could have asked for, but I am very thankful.

Also, of course, my version of Rom getting FANART. I cried pathetic unloved kid happy tears all three times I received it. Two drawings were done by Saintmic and another one was done by someone else who is, eh, a NOT fond memory now, really.

Though honestly, Saintmic was a very good fandom memory as well. I once posted a very creepy, weird remark on Micolash as a character and how he'd corrupt people with his cultist brainwashing..... and after some time I got a reblog from him with even WORSE (/pos) take. I was so surprised to see someone having an idea more disturbing than mine. And it happened later too, when I proposed the idea of Micolash not harming fertile females specifically because of his gross obsession with women and birth, and he added that in fact it was more likely that he just used women for rituals (especially their menstrual blood) when men were just cattle. I am dead serious. The creativity and lore just... increased so much as we were exchanging ideas, my lore got so much better, I actually owe my ultra super fantastic and elaborate portrayal of Micolash to him as inspiration and someone giving ideas and honestly knowing Micolash's very soul. Honestly, you can play a game of 'guess how much of my Micolash lore I owe that guy' and you will lose because you probably not estimate big enough. Ya'll just don't know what it feels like to be a weirdo, to feel avoided and shunned even by fellow Micolash simps for "disturbing" and "not sexy" ideas, to question whether I am just spoiling a beloved character with my monkey brain and then meet someone who just hits a blunt and goes all: 'I smell weakness'.

Basically I've found my Stitch yeah. When you get 'the creepy kid' side-effect in the autism drawbacks fortune wheel, you learn to cherish such things </3

So this- it's a mess, but I absolutely love it. This is from one of the many fics that a friend of mine (wibell) left me before she deleted her account and orphaned her works.

This au is called the 'dark au' because the avengers are not above killing villains or those who oppose them, they are much more feared by the citizens and their cruelty in handling their enemies pretty much make people fear committing the smallest of crimes. (their idea of villains is also somewhat corrupted, since they are pretty much 'heroes').

So the Avengers are pretty much a group of people, who have found a family within each other- and god have mercy on who ever threatens their family.

The story is mostly told from Peter Parker's POV (from the beginning of the first spider man movie by Tom Holland), who had been left behind with a babysitter rather than his uncle and aunt when his parents died, and his aunt and uncle died along with them in the same plane-crash.

He is still Spiderman, and is much sneakier since now he lives with Skip Westcott, his guardian (I had no idea that he existed till I read about him on this doc, oh my god.) however Ned and MJ still end up finding out about his secret identity- along with Flash. (and they are really protective of him too)

Basically the story is about Tony finding Peter after the party that Peter had went to (when he had almost drowned) and becoming interested of him pretty quickly from the very beginning. (because Peter is pretty much one of the actual heroes that the city has, and has yet to dirty his hands even though the media hates on him a lot along with most of the citizens)

Anyways! a little snippet!

Hoodie- suit? was it a suit? Tony had never seen a suit uglier than the one that the infamous spider vigilante wore, god it was a relief that- His eyes grew big as he watched Toomes thrown the web-slinger to the lake- shit. Tony focused the repulsors in his hands on Toomes, loading- "Boss, I can't detect their body warmth any longer, nor can I sense any-" Shit. Tony didn't wait to hear the rest of it and dived headfirst into the water where the vigilante had gotten lost, somewhat bitter about the fact that he had let Toomes free. It didn't take long before he found the vigilante and pulled him to the sir face by his waist- God forbid he wasn't about the pull him up by his hood when he the vulture had carried him by it for so long and had probably damaged his throat. With a single hand, he ripped the straps of the hoodie, watching as the web-slinger gasped for breath. "You know-" Tony began to say, his yes searching for the tech that made the web's for the vigilante, "-you should be both really grateful and sorry for saving your *ss since I did I end up losing my target because of you." He kept looking down on the other as they gasped for breath, and watched them as they stood up. He would give it to them, he supposed, for being able to look him straight in the eye, considering his reputation. Tony opened his mouth, but stopped when rather than than the black googles, his gaze settled on the vigilantes single brown eye instead. "I'm sorry, Mr Iron Man Sir! And thank you for saving me!" The shorter vigilante said, and it took him a second to realize that the voice actually belonged to the spider vigilante infront of him. Cold dread washed over him- he was just a kid. "-but I'll let you know that I was perfectly capable of escaping."Tony grinned from inside his iron man suit, watching as the kid looked down to his watch. "If you will excuse me, I need to get somewhere and I really would appreciate it if you did not follow me.” The kid simply opened his arm, and for a moment Tony thought that he was gesturing towards something, before a piece of thin string came out of the kids wrist, and attached to the tree near by. "Buh~bye!" He didn't have time to analyse just where the web was coming from nor have time answer before the kid was simply gone, swinging from one tree to another like some monkey. "Boss, would you want me to give you the coordinates to Adrian Toomes?" FRIDAY asked after a while, and yet he kept on staring at the direction that the boy had disappeared off to. "Nah, I get the feeling that we won't have to really worry about him for that long- just tighten the security around the Damage Control team." He turned on his repulsors, and rose to the air heading back to the Avengers compound. "Rather than that, FRIDAY, open a new folder for when I get back and add in everything that the media has on this kid." He wondered how the others would react when they learned that the Spidey was just a kid, considering that Matt had fought along side the Spandex boy before, and so had Clint at some point. Did Matt actually know about this but hadn't told them? Oh God, the betrayal! Tony wouldn't tell anything either than- besides, he had the feeling that the drama would be worth it. “What shall I name the folder boss?” the AI asked and Tony didn't even take a second to think before answering. "How about Project: Spandex-Spidey!"

Like How Kaneki Ken's mental decline was shown so beautifully and the representation of his decline is because of his mother and hallucinations of Rize. The field of white spider lilies turning crimson red is such a beautiful allegory that he has embraced the psychotic side of him.

Everytime I listen to this song I just realize "Damn, I fell for a man who lost himself but in the same time didnt". For me, Fatal Trouble is like Jinwoo xD. In a way that he changed so much it's overwhelming but in the same time you realize he's still him. So whenever I listen to Fatal trouble I just fall in love all over again.

Don’t know about you guys, but he is my absolute favorite character in all the Final Fantasy games. He is cool, he is hot and he is strong... what als could a gamer-girl wish for? XD

Oh thank god! We finally lost that damn game. I thought it would never end.

I get that its a symbol, but I always found that Aeon scary as hell. Not just its appearance, or that fact that it is chained. Its also because of the fact that the only eye this thing has left is bleeding and yet its used to attack enemies. I get that it all will make sense eventually (IF you get that Aeon yourself that is), given why this woman turned into an Aeon and how instead of protecting Seymore , she actually made his mental health worse and in the end, he turned into a monster who killed his own father and her sacrifice was all but in vain. But it was still scary, seeing how a tear came out of her eye, but it was made of blood. I do believe that this is the most ugly Aeon the game has to offer.

I remember the first time I played this, that moment was far too overwhelming. Of course here too things will make sense eventually. But at first, that was just too much. And if we as the player feel like that, its obvious how Tidus must feel. You can also see it in his reaction and his behaviour. Of course he was afraid. Who wouldn’t be?

I mean its obvious that Jekkt wanted things to go that way and all... but I still wonder why Auron waited until now to intervene. Was he thinking it was best for Tidus to get lost and found would be a better start for him? Wasn’t he worried about the buy getting killed by monsters or got into jail because of him talking about Zanarkand? He could have been murdered by the AlBhed right at the beginning too. I guess for the player the experience was better that way, but storywise it makes you question things.

Even tho this scene is somewhat weird and gives you some second hand embarrassment... it is also somehow funny and makes you smile.

You know... I always wondered what kind of rules apply to those immortals in this game. Obviously they age. And they can be killed - tho they might need to be send to the farplane or they could rematerialize. Also, Auron says a few times that he is exhausted, making you assume that his dead body still has mortal needs. Then again, Tidus is literally just a dreamed up being. Yes, its been said he became somewhat real by coming to Spira, but that didn’t change his destiny. And yet, even tho just a dream... he was hungry and fell asleep a few times and can be killed as well. So it seems in this game, as long as you have a body, even if you are immortal or a dream, the rules of the mortal realm still apply to you. However... it seem like the aging stops at some point. Mika looks a lot older then this guy, but this guy is actually the older one.

I agree that when I first played this game trying to defeat the Chocobo-Eater wasn’t exactly a fun thing to do. But I agree with Tidus here. Its the right thing to do. After all Chocobos are soooo cute ♥ But I do get what Auron means. They aren’t crusaders. Heck, there aren’t even Heroes. They should focus in the task at hand.

We come across a lot of undead, but in the end, most of them are rather special people - which makes sense, given that only people with a strong will can “survive” death. However, it does seems ironic that a summoner herself didn’t go to the fareplan but decided to wander the cruel world of Spira instead. Why would someone life forever in this kind of world?

Right? I was irritated about that too back in the day. I mean you get some bits and pieces of information here and there that hint at that, but it was still something that you only can fully grasp after they say it out loud.

This road was a nightmare for me when I played for the first time. I was underleveled as heck and this road just didn’t seem to end. I ran out of potions and MP to heal my team and after like half an hour or so, when I has ALMOST reached the rest point, the monsters finally got to me. What a freaking nightmare. I had to walk this road all over again.

They made it hard to phantom what was going on with the Cruzaders. Yevon has rejected them and they are in for an operation to defeat Sin is all we know at this point. Obviously, Yuna has no ill feelings towards them, but prefers them to go back home, but that still could have easily been because of the excommunication. I think no one could have foreseen what they have planned to do... or what it would lead to.

The Story of Morgan

So our Skyfarer campaign was supposed to be a oneshot put on by the extremely generous @nicholas-the-paleomancer, but we loved it so much we decided to keep playing (and it didn't seem like the pandemic was going to end anytime soon).

We broke it up into seasons. Midway through Season 1, the DM asked all the PCs a very innocuous question: "Did your character have anyone they were particularly attached to growing up?" and I was like- "Hm. I suppose... a friend? sister? Idk, kinda estranged because Arthur keeps her busy. Maybe kind of weird too?" and the DM went SURE THING. I KNOW WHAT'S UP WITH HER.

In the moment, I kinda nodded- yeah, cool beans; we're definitely going to have some sort of flashback next session. cool, cool cool- Wait. Westlie's definitely crushed about having a sister she left behind, isn't she? Oh she definitely is- Oh god, Arthur is such a dick, what happened? What does her sister even look like?

Which IMMEDIATELY AND VIOLENTLY kicked off a stream of not-yet-named Morgan and Westlie brainrot. We had the episode, which was a completely normal episode with a small flashback, instigated by the Storm-that-Speaks. Then we continued playing and finishing Season 1.

In the meantime, I slid rapidly downhill as I panicked about Westlie becoming captain, her new sister Morgan, (getting chased by the Glorious was, funny enough, not at all something Westlie or I worried about?). I wrote a whole bunch about Westlie's backstory, Morgan's backstory, them together, Arthur trying to pry them apart, and then Season 2 started.

Season 2 opened with Westlie getting a letter from Arthur that said, "Morgan ran away. You should probably find her. Also bring her back because I need someone to be my heir now, btw fuck you."

I dissolved.

In game, New Winchester was in the middle of a siege and we were hired by a Revolutionary party to carry information there. (We as a party had accidentally kicked off a second war with the Reach in Season 1), and we hoped that news about Morgan would be there too.

That was the longest fucking seven sessions in my entire goddamn life and the most deranged Westlie I have ever had the pleasure of being.

I had nightmares about them. Westlie and I were convinced that Morgan was all right (because she was always all right) but haunted by the thought she might not be. And even when we finally reached Leadbeater, IT TOOK TWO SESSIONS TO GO IN THE FUCKING JUNGLE. I SWEAR TO GOD @nicholas-the-paleomancer.

At one point I texted the DM past midnight sniffling, begging him not to plan to kill Morgan off, or at least make it feasible to rescue her because I couldn't stand the thought of them never reunited.

In the meantime, as I was dissociating watching my mental stability plummet from the pandemic and a bad living situation, I started wondering why the fuck I was so worried about it. And... that was a can of trauma worms I absolutely did not expect to uncover.

So we found Morgan. She was not okay, but I rolled like garbage on all the conversations that mattered, so Westlie was oblivious to the signs until Chorister bees with Morgan riding one, attacked the Pyrrhus. Then the rest of Season 2 was a deep depression and feral resolution to get things back to normal until we succeeded. xD

But the brain rot did not go away.

(…ok maybe I wasn’t very into the headcanon game since I left this unanswered for so long aishdhdhsjeiwk IM SORRY!!! I got to it eventually though right?? XD)

Another duo that I’ve not thought much about before, but now that I have… oh boy, the rabbit hole is DEEP.

(You know the drill. This involves Apollo, so it contains Klapollo. You should know me by now lol)

Also, MAJOR spoilers for Spirit of Justice! You’ve been warned!

Realistic Headcanon:

I’d imagine that Pearl visits Maya in Khura’in as often as she can. She may have her responsibilities in Khurain village, but they’re lenient enough that she is still able to go for extended visits.

Therefore, I would imagine that she would get to know Apollo more after he establishes his own law office in Khura’in.

Pearl is likely still close with Phoenix, after all, so she would likely see it as partially her responsibility to look over Apollo. Perhaps she would even act as his assistant when he investigates crime scenes, offering some (admittedly quite limited) insight or offering to help carry potential evidence. And she does have some experience helping Phoenix in court, so maybe she could act as an assistant during trials?

Or… oh. OH. WAIT A SECOND.

She could CHANNEL DHURKE!

(Continued Below!)

It would be like how Maya (and Pearl to an extent) channeled Mia to help Phoenix in his early cases! Dhurke has a much deeper understanding of Khura’inese law, likely knowing some lesser-known rules that Apollo could use to his advantage. So whenever Apollo is struggling on a case, Pearl would channel Dhurke to give him a helping hand!

SHE COULD ALSO CHANNEL CLAY! We can finally see Clay’s character fleshed out! Imagine the banter that could happen between him and Apollo as they investigate crime scenes, or the heartfelt moments!

HELLO!? CAPCOM!? Can this happen PLEASE? We need Apollo to start collecting young children as legal assistants to complete the cycle! He has Albi now! He had Trucy before! Give him Pearl and he’ll be GOLDEN!

Unrealistic (but Hilarious) Headcanon):

Honestly, this probably isn’t too unrealistic given Pearl’s character, but god would it be funny.

We GOTTA have Pearl get on Apollo’s case about having a “special someone”.

Juniper could be a good candidate, albeit an unlikely one given how I’m unsure if Pearl has ever met Juniper. I also don’t like the idea of Pearl shipping Apollo and Trucy, despite Dhurke endorsing it, cuz first of all… yuck. And also she and Trucy are about the same age, so that feels a bit weird.

Honestly? I love the idea of her seeing Klavier as Apollo’s special someone. And if Klavier does end up going to Khura’in to help Apollo after the events of SoJ, that’s not too far-fetched. And imagine Klavier going along with it, partially because it’s hilarious and partially because he is actually madly in love with Apollo and he gets to pretend, just for a moment, that Apollo loves him back and that they really are “special someones”.

Meanwhile, Apollo is incredibly embarrassed and is frantically trying to shut down Pearl’s attempts at matchmaking because there’s no way they would ever be “special someones”. Klavier is practically a god among men, and he would never love someone as comparatively plain as Apollo. But Apollo never voices his reasoning out loud, of course, which could potentially lead to some miscommunication between him and Klavier, where they both think that the other doesn’t want to be in a relationship.

But they figure it out in the end, because I crave Klapollo and because I say so.

(And wow I basically just wrote a fic here. If anyone wants to write this, go wild! But be sure to let me know about it so I can read it, that’s my only requirement!)

Heart-Crushing and Awful Headcanon:

Pearl reminds Apollo of Trucy. Painfully so.

The differences between the two girls are numerous, obviously. Trucy is loud, outspoken, and spontaneous, while Pearl is quiet, subdued, and hesitant. So of course, Apollo doesn’t see the similarities at first.

But then Pearl passionately rambles about the latest romance novel she read, or she pouts when Apollo shakes off her attempts at matchmaking him with someone, or her eyes shine with a fierce determination as she stands beside Apollo in the courtroom. And in those moments, the resemblance hits Apollo like a punch to the face.

Because he misses his sister desperately. He misses Trucy dragging him on random errands, misses being Trucy’s assistant in her chaotic magic shows, misses simply existing in the same space as her, him typing away on his computer as Trucy practices card tricks.

Apollo, used to bottling his emotions and burying them deep, deep down, tries to hide how affected he is by Pearl’s presence. And he succeeds… for a while. But all things eventually come to a head, and Pearl is bound to notice and make her own assumptions.

And honestly, the conclusion she comes to is perfectly logical. She doesn’t understand why Apollo is so cold and distant around her, but it must have been something she did, right? Why else would he act like he hates her?

Unrealistic Headcanon That Will Probably Never Happen:

Kinda harkens back to the first headcanon (which is ironic, since that’s the realistic headcanon), but… seriously, I want Pearl to channel some people for Apollo! He’s lost so many people close to him. He lost his best friend, he lost his foster father… He lost his real father.

I want Pearl to channel Jove Justice.

Much like Clay was in Dual Destinies, Jove was basically nothing more than a prop in the final case in Spirit of Justice. Despite the fact that, I don’t know, THAT’S APOLLO’S FATHER!? Um, hello? Can we PLEASE talk about that more!?

I want the drama! The angst! I want Apollo to speak with his birth father, to stew in awkward silence as both struggle to find the words to say to each other. I want Apollo to wrestle with his confusing feelings regarding seeing his father again, batting down his feelings of abandonment and worthlessness with the logical assessment that it wasn’t Jove’s fault, of course it wasn’t. I want Jove to fight tears as he sees the child he never got to raise, feeling bittersweet in the knowledge that his son turned out okay, but that he never got to have a hand in that.

I want guilt from both parties, Jove obviously feeling guilty for leaving Apollo all alone, and Apollo feeling guilty for feeling… not enough? Too much? He doesn’t know what he’s feeling, but it’s overwhelming and painful and he both wants it to stop and he wants to feel more, because he should be feeling more, right?

Just give Apollo the opportunity to finally grieve the people who were taken away from him and the life he never got to live. Give! Apollo! CLOSURE!
