Thinking about Naruto again brings to mind an old AU. I probably posted about it but fuck it here we go again:

Alright so an OC who is a mission bastard (one parent totally was a ninja) moves to Konoha with her dog. Said Dog is just like the chillest fucking dog and actually is a bastard summon/nin dog. It can talk but it prefers not to.

OC is probably an Akimichi cause they love food, are chubby and open a bakery. As such the clan adopts them even if they aren’t sure cause god that’s their cousin.

But anyway: dog. The dog goes off and then comes back pregnant. Originally I had the dog the father of the puppies but mother works better.

Dog gives birth to a litter of 12 puppies all which seem… strange. Turns out nin dogs tend to only be born one by one unless someone is destined for multiple dogs. But there’s also something else: a pack. A pack occurs when one litter has multiple nin dogs and then multiple people get the dogs. They’re all destined for someone.

I think you see where I’m going.

Imagine our OC, carrying a basket of puppies who were recently weaned, following her dog down the street as the dog hunts down its puppies partners. The dog finds Kiba, who is upset no nin puppy seems to like him.

Not for long. Here have a puppy kiddo and help me find the others.

Off they go and they hand out all the puppies. Konoha laws say anyone whose part of a pack with an Inuzuka is instantly part of the clan. So… yeah.

Some don’t mind. Some DO MIND. Most the Hyuuga and the Uchiha.

Naruto is just thrilled he gets to hang out with feral kids like him while Tsume cackles she got the kid now fuckers, watch her make Kushina’s kid a terror.

naruto is a joyous and energetic person, his gift are as vibrant as him. in order to court you, he would definitely take you out on some dates. ichiraku ramen sounds like the perfect place to begin his courting! it's a place which holds countless of precious memories for him and he wants you to get to know him better. he's someone who speaks his mind, so I think he'll really talk openly about his desires and interests in you, it's one of the rare times he's being serious and it's truly a sight to see.

onto a more materialistic approach, naruto will 100% gifts you plushies. he thinks it's an adorable way to connect the both of you. extra points if the plushie is the effigy of kurama! he will sometimes scent it, sometimes not. it all depends on how you react to them, he'll pay attention to your reactions and decides if that was the right move.

I also think naruto will choose a more natural and spontaneous courting, surprising you with cute and funny outings. helping you escape at night so you can both see the stars together. he'll throw cute notes at you to cheer you up during class...

overall, naruto just wishes to spend more time with you, make you laugh and smile. he really considers your happy face as a reward, it literally makes his day. he wants the both of you to know each other and grow closer.

ALPHA! SASUKE

now sasuke is definitely more reserved in his approach and less explicit about his feelings for you. nonetheless, he won't stay on the sidelines and let other alphas steal you from him. I don't think he'll give you gifts at the very beginning, he's prudent and will first and foremost test the waters by subtly scenting you at times and assess your reaction. if he considers it a green light, he'll start acting more assertive. probably a few stargazing sessions to begin with and when you start to get closer, he'll be more possessive about his courting.

I think he would give an item related to his clan. it could be a luxurious silk robe with the uchiha crest at its back. he would love to see you wear it, in his mind, it serves as a symbol of unity and pride, having his omega wear that would reinforce the seriousness of your relationship along with solidifying his potential claim on you.

in the same spirit, later into the courting, sasuke would gift you a uchiha clan heirloom. that way, he puts you under his protection and his claim on you is now strong and clear, serving as a warning to all alphas that you're his. its strengthens your bond as it's a deep acknowledgment of the importance your hold in his life.

and in fact, sasuke's gift serves as a proof of his commitment to you and your relationship and it feels reassuring to know that he considers you as a member of his clan.

ALPHA! SHIKAMARU

as expected of shikamaru, he has a pretty good understanding of omegas' nature and will therefore, make pretty good gifts. he has a pretty laidback behaviour, this is why I think he wouldn't want to make courting seems too ceremonial and will adopt a more casual approach. oh you're cold ? here's his jacket, scented. you don't even have to ask, shikamaru is just great at making things seem so normal. you mentioned you liked soft items ? here's a cute blanket he bought today, no it's not really a gift, just a thanks for spending the day with him. and it's just that. of course if you're careful you'll catch him blushing if he sees you snuggling his scarf, it's redolent with his pheromones and he's pleased to see you look so safe.

other than that, it's mainly lazy indoor dates. just you taking a few naps, progressively getting closer to each other until you eventually fall asleep on his chest.

overall, shikamaru likes to do things according to your tastes and doesn't want his courting to seem unnatural and bizarre. he tries his best to be his usual self while also trying not to get too shy, surprisingly.

ALPHA! ROCK LEE

lee is a great alpha, always cheering you on. he's very open about his love for you and he just needs you to give in. of course he knows you're more reserved and needs more time to get to know him before you can make a decision. that's why he's so patient and devoted to you during the courting process. flowers, cheesy love notes, wood sculptures with your initials... with lee it's never ending and you're always surprised with what he was able to come up with.

he will give you gifts, but he'll also often take you out on dates for fun adventures, at least that's what he calls them. genuinely thinks rock climbing & hiking are the best ideas. if he discovers you're not sporty at all, don't worry! lee is more than happy to carry you around, take your hands to help you walk through a particularly tricky path and asks you if you need a break every five minutes. he takes it as his chance to prove to you how alpha, how reliable he is. how much his unwavering determination and passion are yours only.

probably will try cooking snacks, like cookies or brownies but I don't think he's that much of a cook so it'll end up messy. you'll have to console him about this fail attempt and reassure him that you can be the one cooking for him instead!

neji is a great observer, he has your tastes and hobbies all figured out and he knows how to choose the perfect gifts. he is very gentle with the omega he is trying to court and his gifts are as thoughtful as you can imagine. small accessories! after assessing what you like, he'll settle on a small hairpin with soft colours, which compliment your eyes. jewelry as well! a subtle bracelet, a ring or anything, just to remind you that he thinks about you all the time. it's a way to show people that you too are connected and that neji is already pursuing you, the others can back off.

he knows you're sensitive to smells, so probably a few candles with sweet fragrant and cute designs. perfumes? (or insence burner) as long as he likes the smell, he's buying. he loves to know you're wearing the scent he has chosen for you, it's like a pre-mark. it's not his scent yet but it's only a matter of time.

however, neiji will not force things, you'll wear his pheromones yes, but only when you feel ready and you have completely accepted him.

a delicately sewed kimono, or an item you'll be able to wear more easily, like a scarf, gloves... but! his favourite courting gift and the gift which really sealed your relationship is the cute pendant around your neck, carrying a piece of his cloth so that you always smell like him. it's subtle, but enough for the time being, he'll have plenty more time later to scent you profusely!

They got in the time when Tobirama still orchestrated meetings, but Butsuma is already dead so if everything goes well, Tobirama would get Madara and peace soon.

And then there suddenly spawn a Hatake with a sharingan with 2 Uchiha kids and a Mokuton user. Political nightmare.

Later Tobirama recognises Kakashi and was like "The fuck? It's that Hatake from the war. What is he doing there, he should not have been born yet!!"

I'm gonna be real I love the concept of "team ro time travel au but they time travel into someone else's time travel au," that's so good

If we go with your au, there's a really interesting immediate aspect of like: hey ! Tobirama might recognize Kakashi or maybe even Tenzo from the war, but these guys are way fucking younger than when they met !!!

Idk what exactly can be done with that but it's interesting to consider. Also Tobirama talked ab Itachi and his crimes before I'm p sure? So like he knows what happens to the Uchiha and that it was Itachi who did it for the village. I wanna see him faced w the kid who he once praised for slaughtering his own clan to prove his loyalty.

I wanna see him feel the consequences of the stress Itachi is under when he (and possibly Shisui) attempt to kill Madara.

Stop interfering with his fix it fic you brats!! He's already got it covered!! You're just causing a mess!!!!

They get zapped in, like, in the middle of Tobirama's happy ending epilogue too. Tobirama is peacefully eating dinner in his house w his new husband Madara thinking "well. Alls well that ends well." Then BOOM Kakashi Shisui Itachi and Tenzo crash out of fucking nowhere directly onto their table, getting covered in food and breaking the table in half

Immediatley arrested !! I feel like Tobirama would instantly understand what happened by recognizing their uniforms + potentially Kakashi + he's already a time traveler himself so it's really no stretch for him to go "oh fuck I didn't think we'd get a double jepordy in this bitch but I guess not"

But like it's not like he can just SAY that ? Or he could but it would bring a lot of questions he probably does not want to answer.

Now another problem arises in like. I don't think Tobirama is especially attached to any of these guys. I can see him maybe having a lingering "pay it forward ig" feeling just bc they're "loyal konoha soldiers" and it'd be a waste to let that resource just burn. But also like. Under no circumstances can Tobirama have these guys share certain aspects of future knowledge.

Tobirama worked so hard to get here !!!! Literal years of planning !!!! He got his happy ending and it very much rests on Madara staying safe and sane and NO ONE IMPLYING HE WILL BETRAY KONOHA EVER !!!!! Tobirama does not even wanna RISK that becoming a rumor, he will take no chances.

Anyways I think his best course of action would be to reveal himself as a time traveler specifically to team ro, then position himself as their hokage who they should remain loyal to, say that it is for Konoha's best interests that they do not reveal certain things, and play it by ear from there.

Tobirama deciding he can't risk team ro going forward in time again and potentially fucking up the time stream or smthn. They need to stay here. He can not risk losing this shit. Sorry guys it looks like your trapped here <3

It's not too bad tho. I think Itachi would feel relieved but also very guilty. Shisui too. Tenzo is violently neutral bc hes still in his "learning to be a real boy" phase from root, but it's all positive for him tbh. Kakashi is tricky bc his mental state is the equivalent of someone rapidly bouncing a ball on a thin pane of glass trying to prove it's bullet proof (it's not) and has like MOUNTAINS of complexes around the words "konoha authority figure" and what he's leaving behind. He's probably the most determined to go back

Anyways uhh. Izuna gets Itachi to help him be skeptical of Tobirama and spy on him. Itachi only agrees bc he violently reminds him of Sasuke (this will develop into a complex if not stopped. Shisui is working on it.)

Ceo! Itachi X Pregnant Wife! Reader

Itachi sat in his home office, sorting through some emails as he prepared to let his younger brother take care of their family company while Itachi himself took parental leave. His wife was pregnant and getting close to her due date, Itachi being the man he was couldn't bring himself to leave her alone in this last month and a half. He had also planned to help her during the first 3 months after their kids were born and his mom was gonna check on and help her until things had settled down; all the books he had read to prepare for the pregnancy, birth and newborn care had ultimately put the fear of God in him. Currently his wife was relaxing on the couch in his office, laid comfortably on her side and napping as Itachi took care of business. Every so often he would stop to watch her, they had been married for 5 years now and she just looked absolutely beautiful to him in this state. Knowing that he was the reason her belly was so round, that it was children of their making that was living within her body. It sometimes felt like a dream, some nights he would wake up and spend up to half an hour with his hands on her belly just to come to terms with the fact that this was real. They were gonna be parents, he was going to be a father. They had already done a gender reveal a few months back, the pair was expecting twin boys. Itachi wasn't super into the gender fad; he just wanted a healthy baby he didn't care if it was a boy or girl.

But learning it would be twins? Now that got him excited. He knew it wasn't going to be easy, but he was ready to do whatever he had to in order to keep his family happy and cared for. Itachi had already had the room next to theirs made into a nursery, he even had a door added so that they could go from their room to the nursery quicker than just going around. They had agreed on gender neutral colors for the room, going with a nice smokey lavender with grey and white accents. They didn't want to pressure their kids and after doing some research on twins, both he and his wife decided it would be for the best to not make that their whole identity. Like if they ended up liking the same things, the parents wouldn't object. But they planned to let the kids lead on who they wanted to be and the things they liked, as there were several blogs of twins who felt they were forced to share an identity.

Itachi had set his papers down to observe his sleeping wife fully, somehow it had felt like this pregnancy had flown by and he was grateful for the videos they had made together through her pregnancy. It seemed like just yesterday that his wife came to him in the kitchen with a positive test in hand and a smile on her face, they had been trying for a few weeks and testing every few days, so this pregnancy was very planned and desired. Silently he moved to stand, soft steps approaching her before he knelt down to brush her hair out of her face. His hand moved to rest in her side, gently stroking along her ribs as he watched her sleep peacefully. Sleep had been hard to come by these last few months, the infants had been active and kicking at her insides more as they approached the birth date and it had made it hard on her to get and stay comfortable much less sleep for extended periods. Leaning in he pressed a kiss to her forehead, hand gently stroking over her belly as he took this moment to enjoy his break and bask in this feeling of love that almost overwhelmed him. Itachi was a family man, he adored his younger brother and was quite close with his mother.

He still remembers his family's excitement when they announced the pregnancy over dinner with them, his brother had almost choked on his food and his mother had engulfed him in a hug before his father could even stand. Every now and then his wife and mother would spend a day together bonding over the pregnancy and doing crafts, while he has a drink with his father to discuss the company and work life balance. Fugaku was a traditional man, but when Itachi explained his desire to be there for his family and place a boundary with work and home life the older man had been quite understanding. His father had opened up about his regrets with how he raised them, of course Fugaku wanted to ensure the honor of the company name and make sure it was there for Itachi whenever he had been old enough to take over but there were events he missed, and he'd spend the days thinking about it while doing paperwork. How he'd take his breaks, wondering how these events were going for his sons and hoping his wife remembered to record for him.

This had soothed Itachi's anxiety, knowing he had his father's support for his choice had made him feel heard and firm in his decision. He would be there for his sons; he'd make sure they were well cared for but wouldn't risk missing out on their big events for the sake of luxury. He slowly stood, glancing back at his desk he decided it was late enough. So carefully he lifted his sleeping wife, using his elbow to turn off the office lights as he walked down the hallway to their shared room. Back in your room you turn on your hands and knees and spot the mattress that lay close to the floor with only a modest frame supporting it. You crawl over to it wondering how the other girls were holding up. You hope they are okay but you are so exhausted you don’t have time to think too much into it. Satisfied and tired, you fall asleep still naked, wearing nothing but your cuffs.

A few hours later, in the middle of the night you wake to two fingers inside your heat, toying with your slit. You stir to realize you are restrained. Your cuffs are tied so that you are sprawled out on the bed, holding you down with your arms and legs spread wide. 

As you realize your predicament you begin to struggle.

The voice came from another midnight haired ninja resembling Tobi but younger, much younger.

Distracted by the older brother, you don’t notice the  younger one disrobing and lining himself up with your slit until he slots himself inside you. Your entire body seizes up and a loud choking noise emanates from your mouth. 

“Guess she likes it girthy.” The younger says with a smirk. 

Your stomach was in knots but you couldn’t help the way you wrap around him. Your grip is tight as a drum, squeezing him as his tip bullies inside of you. The shape of his manhood reminded you of Tobi. ...how you wish for Tobi at this very moment. You wanted him to walk in and save you even though he is the very reason you are in this mess to begin with.

The two spit-roasted you as you lay on your back, strapped down by your restraints, fighting to free yourself between breaths. You gag and scream around the long-haired shinobi’s cock while his younger brother pistoned against your special spot and despite yourself, you felt a coil in your core ready to snap. 

Your gargled screams grew louder, the vibrations making Itachi moan when the door suddenly swung open and the whole room came to a stop. At first the sudden and silent entrance of the masked man seemed like a silent rage had flooded the room. His masked face unreadable, the boys withdraw and your rigid body falls, sinking into the mattress. Tobi sits on the bed beside you and cups your slobber soaked face. He is tender and kind. 

Finally he speaks in his soothing deep voice, “Can you be good for daddy?”

You look up at his with uncomprehending eyes and nod. Slowly he removes his mask and he cuts the rope holding you down. You sit up to hug him, burying your head in his chest. He shushes you and moves you to the side as Sasuke lays in your place. 

“Get on top of Sasuke” he orders. You look at him in disbelief. “Don’t make me ask again. You belong to the Uchiha now.”

You nod and get on top where you feel the one named Sasuke slip back into your slot. Tobi stands behind you, slowly removing the ties of his pants. He leans down and whispers in your ear, “now stick out your tongue for Itachi.”

You comply and just as his weight rests on your open mouth you feel a third tip prod your puckered hole.

You inhale through your nose, with Itachi on your tongue, when you feel Tobi sink inside. You gargle around Itachi’s length as all three boys begin the thrust in tandem.

Sasuke scans your naked body up and down with hunger before sneering at Tobi and snatching his clothes as he storms out of your room, silently followed by Itachi. 

Tobi pulls you close, hugging you tight before spinning you around. 

“You are mine now. Do you understand?”

In silence, you hug him back, grateful that is only the two of you.

“Come. You’re staying in my room tonight. I don’t trust that they won’t come back.”

You loosen your grip and look up at him with a nod. Your body was sore from being used and you’d like nothing more than to remain safe in Tobi’s arms.

He grabs his mask off your bed before draping his clouded cloke over your shoulders. You are ushered out of your room and down the hall towards his own chambers. 

As you pass the threshold, you notice how tidy and plain the room is. It is barren, with only a few small touches of home. You almost felt like you were stepping into someone’s hotel room but you guess a life on the road leaves little time for home furnishing. 

Tobi rummages through his drawers and finds a baggy shirt for you to wear as a nightgown. You happily slip into it, grateful to have something covering your barren body. 

“Come” he beckons from the bed. 

You climb in and crawl up next to him. He drapes his arm over your body and pulls you close to his chest. Each breath pushes up against your back. You feel how easily he falls asleep behind you and know that he is comfortable in your presence. 

As his breathing soothes your tired mind, you can’t help but think about the other girls again. Your night had been intense. If their night was similar, you can only imagine how the rest of their time here will be.

Not all of them have Tobi’s protection. But maybe, just maybe, there are other members of this gang who are like him and feel protective over these newcomers. Maybe all of you will be okay. But how can you think that without knowing the rest of the group?

Your worried thoughts are pushed aside by the light snoring that strokes your ears. The sound recenters you and brings you back to your present. 

Normally you don’t enjoy sharing a bed, however, at this moment you were more than thankful to be under the watchful care of the vicious leader of this band of thugs. While he is quite possibly the worst one, something about him soothes you. You once felt strong and defiant before him. Now you feel helpless and obedient. He pulls out a meekness that you never knew you had inside of you. You didn’t know how to describe it but whatever it was, it’s addicting and crippling.

bully!itachi is a force to reckon with, especially when he’s also a senior at school. the day you first met him was at the cafeteria, you had just started your highschool journey & thought it should go by without an issue. unless— you watched someone ask a senior out. he looked emotionless, vague & so disrespectfully disinterested. it takes guts to ask someone out publically and his personality made you wonder who he truly is. “uchiha itachi. he’s like the highschool heart throb, most uchihas are. then entire family is like a clan sorta thing- they are like, distant cousins or something.” she indulges your curiosity. your eyes mingled with the dude who was standing, looking down at the girl with pursed lips. “sorry, you know i don’t date moderately attractive women.”

wow; what an asshole — you glared at him at a distance, unaware that it was the exact moment where your eyes meet. itachi had beautiful, but stern looking eyes. dedicated stress likes which in his case only made him prettier. you gulped, as if a thief caught red-handed, & looked away. however, what you missed to notice was itachi’s subtle smirk after. “oh no- he’s approaching you!” your friend urgently whispered, and before you could say anything… there he was. “hello, seemed like you really wanted to stand up for the underdog there. why didn’t you?” he hums, leaning in a little. great! no introductions, no pleasantries.

“cus it’s none’o’my business.” you scoffed, looking at him back in the eye. typical dior sauvage mingled with another scent that you don’t figure out. itachi’s smile faded at the sass. “then, if something wrong happens with you, my dear… don’t expect people to care.” he gently touched the ends of your hair, tucking it behind your ear. the action has you taken aback — what did he even mean! “i’m sure i don’t need anyone to step in.” you raise a brow, adamant & dominant in your tone. that’s right - you bloody don’t. you can handle a dude who’s too full of himself all by yourself.

your attention was diverted to the chitter chatter around you. people were almost — fixated on you and him. jesus christ, was he that popular?! you lean back from him immediately. causing him to reflexively wrap his hand around your wrist, pulling you closer to him. even with your resistance, you were bolted against him. your chest pressed against his torso. “what are you doin’!!” your hand was twisted and nudged against your back, arching it. “sorry, i just wasn’t finished with the conversation.” he says simply, still holding you close. “name, and class…”

seriously? what does he think of himself! name and class? “my name’s mind your business, and my class is leagues above you.” you hated that you came up with something so cliche but it was last minute. itachi just chuckled, letting you go. his eyes unwavering as he glared at your friend, calling her with his fingers curling. she’s blinking, unsure what to do and just walks up to him. “hey, what’s her name?” he asks, and she blurts it out. your name, your class. you wanted to dig a hole and die. “why? want to come to my class and bother me?” you glared & scoffed, arms crossing in defense. “mm, not decided yet.” he flicks your forehead & walks away. the first interaction with itachi was so weird…

ever since that incident, some people started looking at you differently. girls approached you more, some of them lowkey threatened you for not buzzing around itachi. as if! you were really not interested in this whole uchiha shenanigan. until, one of these days you were targetted by those same group of girls in the cafeteria. the typical trick of downing an entire plate of food on you does the trick. phones were out, mean comments were being spouted. “she thinks she’s all that” / “oops, are ya gonna cry?” / “who does she think she is?” || you couldn’t believe just an interaction with the uchiha was proving to be so troublesome. you tried your best to control your emotions, to not either rage out or cry about this.

“ah- there you are little y/n.” he hums, walking towards you and leaving the crowd shaken up by just his presence alone. the girls looked at him & you. honestly, you didn’t expect him to hover around this. “let’s get you changed.” he hums, smiling a little. “i’m sure people here would know better than to stress you out again. i suppose, i see it as my sole responsibility.” he speaks to you but his glare is lethal towards everyone. “and i’m sure, people know better than to post those videos. i can hunt them down quite easily.” he coos, walking away with you. dumbfounded. you are literally dumbfounded. “why?” you mumbled, walking with him towards the infirmary. “just because i wouldn’t like someone else bear the consequences of my attention. i’d rather you bear them when i am the sole contributor.” itachi… talked in this weird, refined manner that just made you giggle. weirdo…

that was the day itachi started to hang around you most of the time. you’re going home? need someone to follow you? you don’t? ah, too bad. you can’t make decisions for someone else. he follows you home and makes small talk, teasing you and telling you that he would probably come inside & tell your mom that you like him…. which you absolutely don’t. (yet).

there are some days where he notices you don’t eat much during lunch hours. honestly, sometimes the food from the cafeteria just gives you the ick. you have been seen eating wafers, some junk food and sometimes snacking on protein bars. one of these days, you’d just find him throwing it away. “trash.” is all he says, watching your mouth agape when you notice he just threw off your bloody lunch! before you can say anything, there is an eerie sense or urgent rage that flows through you. coming through as glossed eyes. you push his chest away. “what’s it gotta do with you motherfucker.” you snarl at him, walking away. itachi leaves you alone for the next few days, until you are found eating whatever again. this time when he comes closer to you, you glare daggers instantly. “i will kill you.” you scoffed. however, itachi had… an alternate idea. “brought some home-made ramen with eggs and meat.” he hums, “wanna try?” // “is it drugged?” // “wanna try?” // “is it drugged?” // “what could i possibly gain from drugging it?” // you sigh, taking the ramen from him. itachi & his weird ways of showing affection honestly.

itachi had never been so constant and buzzing around someone at all. with the way he swarms around you, his uchiha cousins have noticed you. there’s shisui, sasuke… and some other folks that he hangs out with. sasuke uchiha is itachi’s sibling, and one day, he embarrasses itachi on the way home with you. “i don’t get it, why do you insist on following me home like a dog?” // “because you amuse me, little one.” // “no because he’s whipped & doesn’t have the balls to say it.” sasuke says out loud, a metre or two away. “ah….. sasuke…..” that was the first time you saw itachi’s careful and calm aura disappear for a moment.

during the highschool trip, itachi didn’t let anyone sit next to you in the bus. him & only him. he even let you lean your head against his shoulder when you slept without a care. no boys were allowed near you. and just to piss him off, you decide to meet up with your classmates late at night for a drinking game. things end up… a little escalated because clearly one of them couldn’t hold their alcohol, and tried to push himself on you. that was the day you realized… itachi is dangerous. especially when you couldn’t count how many times his fists met the poor chap’s face.

-> honestly i think this needs parts i just keep writing on writing 😭 but yeah, he’s not your typical bully per se. he’s just… well, itachi. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are there any silly or interesting Itachi/Sasuke/other character headcanons you've always wanted to share?

Some of these will be Modern-AUish, some canon compliant, and some Akatsuki AU.

Whenever Sasuke sees something that's interesting to (only) him as a child he rushes to Itachi to share it. Itachi is his go-to person whenever he wants to share something. Itachi sometimes lets Sasuke's excitement slide because he's too busy/too tired, and little Sasuke is infuriated. He expresses his fury in form of stomping his feet, walking around the house with a pout. He keeps yelling in front of Itachi's room that no one loves him and genuinely looks sad. No one understands why Sasuke is acting so weird until Itachi picks on it and gives Sasuke some treat. It's super easy to please him.

Itachi is a bad cook. Sasuke is even worse. That's why whenever their parents aren't home, Itachi cooks and Sasuke waits instead of helping him. One time when Sasuke "helped", it almost invited disaster. Itachi swore to never let Sasuke in since then. Sasuke is super salty because what he did at 12 shouldn't be held against him, right? Itachi won't listen. Their parents have no idea about it. So, whenever Itachi cooks something in his millionth attempt, certain that he made the dish perfect, Sasuke always shoots him down with "I've had better". Though later at night he sneaks into the kitchen to finish the rest, because why not.

Sasuke likes to hang out with Madara, but he's always been scared of the old man. Sasuke says he looks good only when he's not speaking or smiling. He always hides behind Itachi whenever Madara is visiting them. Itachi often uses it against Sasuke when he won't let him finish his work. "Go to sleep, Sasuke, or Madara uncle will come." It's an inside joke and Madara is definitely not pleased because he loves kids. He doesn't want to be the bad guy in Sasuke's eyes.

Both the brothers love to go on long cycle rides, especially in summers.

Naruto and Sasuke have a lot of sleepovers. Whenever Sasuke has to go to Naruto's house, Itachi drops him there. And when Naruto has to come to Sasuke's house, they want Itachi to tell them horror stories. Not overly keen on scaring them both, he tries to evade, but Naruto wouldn't listen. To set the mood, all the lights are kept off, and as soon as Itachi starts, Naruto hides himself in covers, and Sasuke rolls his eyes. Although later at night neither Naruto nor Sasuke want to go out alone to pee. Sasuke is just as scared as Naruto. He just doesn't want to show.

Minato and Kushina love both the brothers. Because of them their families are super close as well. Occasionally, Minato would take all the three kids to some other city/fun place, and come home super exhausted, because Naruto and Sasuke are a menace.

When they're kids, and Mikoto and Fugaku have to leave for a few hours, Kakashi and Yamato have to babysit them. Kakashi hates it because he'd rather be reading his books, but Yamato loves spending time with them. He loves to spoil both the kids. Sasuke just ends up pulling Yamato's hair and also tries to pull Kakashi's mask. But he can't.

Itachi has a Danzo plushie, decorated with red marks and is beaten down badly as if Itachi likes to punch it every time he's mad. Mikoto is horrified because since when her sweet child become this violent. Fugaku gives Itachi a treat when he learns this. Sasuke just likes to pull Danzo plushie's ears because they're fun to him.

Sasuke hates Shisui and Izumi at home. They steal the time he can spend with his nii-san. But when Itachi is not home, Shisui takes Sasuke with him and they train and Shisui deliberately loses his matches. Sasuke tells everything to Itachi with glee that he defeated Shisui when they trained together. Sasuke grudgingly admits to himself only that he likes spending time with Shisui too, but he won't ever feed Shisui's ego, because his nii-san is still the best.

Kisame is another person Sasuke is scared of. But he gets to like him. If anything, if ever Sasuke is mad at his brother, Kisame sides with Sasuke, and tells his brother how terrible of a big brother Itachi is. One day, Sasuke spent exactly 30 minutes complaining about Itachi to Kisame. And obviously, Kisame lectured Itachi that evening.

Being Itachi's little brother, Sasuke is the unofficial member of the Akatsuki. He has his own tiny Akatsuki robe. He doesn't understand why he doesn't get "dangerous" missions like his brother does. They tell him he's the most important person in the Akatsuki, so he must get special treatment. They keep all the gory shit out of his knowledge.

Sasuke really, really dislikes Kakuzu. He also finds Hidan weird. He wants to protect his brother from Deidara because Deidara just seems like he's obsessed with his brother. Itachi must be protected from him.

The people Sasuke loves in the Akatsuki after his brother are Konan and Sasori. Sasori makes puppets/toys for him (without all the blood and stuff) and gifts them to Sasuke. Konan is like a mom to him. In Itachi's absence she takes care of Sasuke.

I keep thinking about Itachi’s last moments and how he was most likely completely blind and it hurts. Like how he somehow sealed Orochimaru after saying it felt like him and not looks like him. Wish Kishimoto had given him some happiness. Also loved your last post about Shisui!

Itachi was very likely completely blind in chapter 392, judging his surroundings by feelings and no longer visuals. Imagine him stumbling through the darkness, not even able to see his brother's face one last time before he dies. Sasuke isn't talking either. So the only thing he can really do is touch him before his body gives out.

I love AUs in which Itachi survives the battle regardless. Even if injured or blind. If only the team from Konoha had arrived sooner, maybe Itachi would've been captured rather than killed. And maybe the truth would've revealed itself one way or another. He deserves a shot at happiness (and I want fluff).

Okay, I have to ask. Sasuke isn't the only little lightbulb in the room. There's another group with absolutely no clue. How do think Naruto's estranged family are handling it? They have to sense that there's one big secret they're not in on.

Also, I now have the image in mind of Sasuke trying to get Itachi's attention. Meanwhile Itachi is sending smothering looks at Naruto, and Naruto is sending what he thinks are hidden questioning glances at Fugaku and Mikoto. Fugaku and Mikoto are sweating bullets trying to pretend everything is a-okay and smiling at Minato and Kushina like fucking their kid hadn't saved their marriage.

I like to think that, during the dinner and for a hilariously long time afterward, neither Minato nor Kushina realize anything is amiss.

Like, after a certain point they both end up focus on Menma and figuring out why he's decided that tonight of all nights is the right time for him to get absolutely wasted at the dinner table.

And like sure they're glad to see that Naruto seems to finally be getting along with the Uchiha Clan, since his and Sasuke's uh rocky relationship was always a thorn in their side until Sasuke ended up befriending Menma instead.

Any tension they pick up on they kind of just dismiss because, well, they are at the table with basically all of the major players of the Uchiha Clan and it's a well-known fact that the family is ,,, intense.
