To me “Chappell Roan looks cool but I wish she made weirder music” sentiments seem odd, like they come from a place of embarrassment for thinking that a pop artist can put together a cool outfit.

Alex post 2018 – some ruminations
I have been doing some thinking about the change in Alex from pre TBHC to post TBHC and I have come up with the following ruminations;
Yesterday (1 October) two things happened. The audiobook of The Unfinished Harauld Hughes by Richard Ayoade was released, and Louise posted a very awkward photo of herself and Alex, with some weird reference to an anniversary that makes no sense (but I’m not going to speculate about that). Alex provided the music for the audiobook of Harauld Hughes, and yet I don’t know one person who has listened to it, instead what are we all talking about? (me included) The photo of him and Louise.
I was there from the beginning when little Alex was being hailed as this wonderkid, a little Yorkshire tyke who wrote like Alan Bennet or Jarvis Cocker. The word ‘genius’ was banded about often. Even in the subsequent years, with all the high profile ‘romances’, the speculation about Milex, and all his image changes, people still spoke about what a great musical talent he was, but it all seemed to stop at AM5.
I’m not going to talk about TLSP because that is an equal endeavour with Miles, this is focusing purely on AM.
It was as though Tranquillity Base Hotel and Casino was like Alex finally dropping all the pretence and revealing to the world exactly what kind of genius he was….and no one liked it. From then on something in him changed. We get dramas in the press about him being a love cheat, whereas up until then he had been portrayed as a romantic who went from monogamous relationship to monogamous relationship. Suddenly he becomes this lothario, breaking hearts and causing lots of fans to become more invested in his love life than his musical output.
By the time of The Car, he had practically given up. We get a handful of studio interviews and some written pieces, and that was it. Until it has got to the point that nowadays Matt is the group’s mouthpiece. Alex can’t be bothered at all. He seems more interested in taking part in awkward pap walks and photoshoots with Louise, than he does promoting his own music. How lovely it would have been when AM was voted one of the greatest albums of all time, to hear him reflecting on it. He didn’t have to give away his secrets about subject matter, but he could have spoken about the recording process and what was happening with the other boys at the time. But nada. Matt had to do it.
It is like Alex has become his own self-fulfilling prophecy. The fans didn’t like TBHC (‘puncturing your bubble of relatability with your horrible new sound’) and it wounded him deeply, so he’s giving them little in return except things to gossip about. Let’s face facts, lots of stars have messy love-lives, but they also have high court injunctions in place that stop anyone talking about it. Even Taylor, if she’d had the threat of the law coming down on her, wouldn’t be able talk about Alex. But she’s allowed to and fuels the flames of interest in his love-life rather than his talent. Then of course we have Louise and her strange behaviour, and their weird relationship, which once again fuels speculation. Again, she could be instructed not to interact with fans, but she is allowed to come after them, creating controversy, which Alex becomes involved in without saying a word, but he gets tainted with her brush.
I always thought his troubled 2018 was down to problems with his relationship with Miles, but after a little digging around and finding stuff out, him and Miles were perfectly okay by 2018. I think their troubles were in 2017 after the intensity of EYCTE, but those two can’t stay apart for long, and that wasn’t the problem. The problem was that TBHC was the first album where Alex finally bared his soul, his ‘this is me’ moment and when people rejected it, he was hurt. Let’s not forget that Alex doesn’t know anything but being famous. AM is his world, and it’s like he loses perspective. Yes, people don’t like the new material and the direction the band is going in, and yes, probably half of the people who went to see them on tour went to scream at him, but none of that matters. Time is going to move and so are the AM fanbase. I am sure both TBHC and The Car got them new, different fans who aren’t interested in heartthrob Alex and his messed up life, but instead the beautiful music he makes and his genius with words, which is still the same as it was when he was 19.
I have a sneaky feeling AM8 will be AM5 mark ii, purely to please the fans, which is a shame because AM5 suited the time and space it was in, but not now. He should be able to make the sort of music he wants to, either solo, with Miles or AM.
Anyway, they are just the ruminations from my flu-riddled brain. In a nutshell, after TBHC Alex lost sight of himself and to quote his own lyrics, I would quite like to grab both shoulders and shake him and tell him to snap out of it.

PROLOGUE
pairing: ghostface!song mingi x reader (ft. ghostface!jeong yunho) AU: modern au word count: 3.2k warnings: yandere themes, stalking
masterlist
A/N: I've never actually watched Scream but I love the concept, so general ideas revolving around the character will be used here (i also saw yungi!ghostface fanart, which i am OBSSESSED with).
A chat room is an online platform that enables users to communicate with each other in real time. Chat rooms are typically hosted on a server with an internet connection, enabling members from around the world to hold conversations about various topics.
Upbeat 80s rock music reverberates of the four walls of her room, the pen nib scratches, furiously, across the thin lined paper as her mind spills the plethora of knowledge that's locked up within it. Dropping the pen to the side, a long groan escapes her lips in tiredness the bright light of the computer screen gnawing at her attention. As she flicks between the several open tabs on her web browser, loitering in the far corner is an underground chat room for ‘conventional losers’, i.e. nerds, geeks, freaks, goths and emos and every other ostracised sub-cultural group you could think of. The thought itself was quite fascinating to her, which one was she? Or rather, was she the pretentious introvert who thought herself higher than those who defied society's conventional train of thought and aligned herself with the populars?
Snapping her book shut, she closed several of the academic pages she had open; leaving her with the final one: the infamous chat room. She’d already logged in, curiosity masticating her rationality and browsed a few pages, sent a few quick messages to people the website had recommended based on her “favourite topics”.
Her eyes glance carefully across the blaring screen, the blue light penetrating into her steady gaze as she reads the username that steals her undivided attention.
@ pyscho.killer
A snicker escapes her lips, she surfs their profile finding very little information about them, other than ‘Fix on’. Goodness, is she really going to talk to this person just because he too enjoys listening to Modern Talking? Her lips purse in contemplation as she clicks on ‘Message’, there’s no harm in conversing with someone you don’t know. Right?
modern-division: Fan of the Talking Heads much?
She prides herself on her nonchalance, if he wasn't to respond she really wouldn't care. After all, Yeji had invited her to join a number of societies at university and despite the fact that none of the them seemed particularly interesting to her; there was no harm in joining at least one or two if the outcome was a few friends to make her strenuous four years more bearable.
Ping. Her head snaps back to computer screen as she shoves all of her pens back into the pencil case; a dirty habit from childhood to spread all of her things across the table and then spend five minutes, impartially, cleaning everything up.
psycho.killer: Psycho Killer, Qu'est-ce que c'est?
modern-division: Fa-fa-fa-fa, fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fa, better
psycho.killer: Run, run, run, run, run, run, run away,
psycho.killer: I think I have met my match. To whom do I now call mine?
A childish giggle escapes her, she leans back in her seat in a knowingness that she may now actually enjoy being on this sketchy platform. Careful, yet. She doesn't actually know this stranger.
modern-division: AHAHA you’re funny, Mr Fix On (what does that even mean?)
psycho.killer: that’s not for you to know, darling.
psycho.killer: let me guess…you like joy division and modern talking?
modern-division: what gave it away?
psycho.killer: I guess you’re pretty funny too
It's quite absurd to believe that a famous hit song by the 'Talking Heads' is what got her, her new best internet friend yet the notion is very much a fact. So much so, her life is now consumed by the chat rooms she used to look down on. Social media is very much a vortex, or vacuum of some kind, sucking one in; leaving them void of humanity, stripping them down of some yearning for human interaction. Or at least that's what it did to most. After a long day of lectures, she found herself wanting to be able to see 'Mr Fix On' in person, talk to him in person, be able to stare into his eyes.
Speaking of. As a matter of fact, she didn't even know what he looked like. Just that he was South Korean, had short black hair and brown eyes. She too allowed herself to share the same amount of information that he provided. Mum did say not to go around talking to strangers, and even if she was doing just that; she was not dim enough to start revealing absolutely everything about her identity.
The autumn leaves sway softly with the gentle breeze, a waft of biting air floods over her sending a ripple of goosebumps over her supple skin. Her shoes crunch the delicate leaves, that pave the way to her home, yet she feels a daunting figure stalk after her. For a split second, she believes herself to be hallucinating as she takes a daring look behind her shoulder to find the street behind her, empty.
A tall figure strolls after her, picturing landmarks that carves the path to her home. His soft dark brown hair tousles with the wind, the cold forging a pink blush over his cheeks; sinking his long nose into the woollen scarf his movements come to an abrupt halt as his heroine plunges her eyes into his.
God, she's fucking pretty.
They move over his, hastily, as to her he's simply rifling through his bag for a wallet in line for an expensive coffee alongside a couple of old-age pensioners.
Conclusion: She is paranoid, there is no one after her. Yet as it is autumn in her unsafe town, its better to be cautious than to walk across the surface of the earth with no walls at all.
psycho.killer: wanna join a gc with my friend? he likes some of the same music as us.
psycho.killer: plus, he's a compsci loser who needs a friend
It's been at least a month since she had began talking to 'psycho.killer', who she had learnt his name is: Mings. Or rather its a shorthand version of his forename that he is weirdly reluctant to disclose, as he insists on her calling him 'Min' or "darling, my lover, husband- whatever floats your boat." He is truly charismatic, his charms are perceived from the other end of the screen. She wonders what it would be like to see him in real life. Is he truly as amiable as he reads?
modern-division: haha, i don't mind. what's his @ ?
psycho.killer: its @ killed.theradio.st4r
modern-division: you guys are my people
She hums the tune to 'Video Killed the Radio Star." Her mother's soft laughter pervades her way into her room; the older woman places her washed clothes on the Chester drawer wondering how the younger generation manage to get invested in the songs of the past.
[psycho.killer added you to 'two losers and a hot nerd']
killed.theradio.st4r: helloo, i'm yuyu :)
modern-division: hi!
modern-division: also, who's the hot nerd?
psycho.killer: me.
killed.theradio.st4r: lmao. its you, doll.
Does Mings just refer to me as, Doll to everyone he speaks to?
modern-division: you don't even know what i look like
killed.theradio.st4r: guess we just know you're a hot girl by intuition
modern-division: what if i'm a man? ever thought about that?
psycho.killer: your bio literally states that you're a girl
psycho.killer: not-so-mysterious babe
It wasn’t so bad for someone online to know your gender, it was just ensuring that your femininity wasn’t exploited. She knew they would never ask her to share explicit content nor would they force her to engage in it, though talking to the pair of ‘Killers’ preserved an ominous feeling in the airs. She couldn’t tell if at any point, she really felt comfortable talking to either of the two.
To begin with, Min was always trying to call her. Ask her where she was, what she was doing, if she had she eaten, what time she was going to bed. He asked about her day, and if anyone bothered her in particular. To any other he may have seemed like a kind-hearted boyfriend yet to her it felt like an intruder had permeated into the walls of her bedroom and dominated her life. Then you had his esteemed friend, Yun. He was always deeming her the most beautiful being he had ever seen. She could see within his words the robust desire he had manifested from her words, the way he had subtly requested for her photos in order to fuel the raging fires burning in her absence.
He wanted her. Physically, to put it lightly. Indeed, she was a doll to him and to have her in his arms would purify him of all his sinful thoughts. Yun always brought it up with his friend, who had simply told him to put out those fires. (For the time being).
“Have you heard of ‘Ghostface’?” Her head snaps up from her workbook, in the library where one of her closer acquaintances sits opposite playing with her water bottle. A newspaper article sits in front with the notorious blurry image of a man with a ghost mask roaming around town.
“This is the first I’m hearing. I mean it’s Halloween soon, so it’s probably some idiot roaming around town.”
“An idiot? I don’t think so, ma’am. Read on, he’s been going around stalking people in his costume.” She raises her eyebrows, nimbly scanning her eyes over the text before returning back to her work. Though she cannot help but stare back at the blurred image of the figure. “I bet there’s a sexy man under all that.” Scowling at her friend, she sends a dirty look.
“You have got to be kidding me. A ‘sexy’ man. You said it yourself, he’s stalking people.”
“Yeah but, one of the girls from Art said he was mad tall and had this deep, attractive voice.”
“Yes, I bet he goes: ‘come here babe, let me kill you’ in his husky voice and you all go running to him because you have no morals.” Once again, she rolls her eyes whilst her friend merely giggles as if she is just pleasantly awaiting to be a victim. She rarely meets women who have an ambition for a victim complex, yet those she does: she steers away from.
“I’m only joking, but be real. Have you never heard a guy with a deep, attractive voice?” Her friend questions, making her pause her writing. In fact, she has. Mins’ voice has a sent over her railings during their late night calls, there’s something so potent residing within it. Intoxicating. It almost has her want to do everything he asks.
He is too, tall with a deep voice but there must be so many like him in this world.
The thought is dismissed and she shoos away her friend to allow herself to prioritise the exam that’s pending in two weeks time.
modern-division: have you guys heard of ghostface?
killed.theradio.st4r: why?
modern-division: just asking, apparently some loser is dressing up in a ghost mask and stalking people. idk if it’s just halloween round the corner though
killed.theradio.st4r: oh no :(
killed.theradio.st4r: could just be a halloween thing
modern-division: yeah, I think so too.
“So you like the librarian?”
“Mhm.” She steals her longing gaze away from him towards Yeji, who sends a vicious smirk her way. A blush taints her cheeks, knowing that Yeji will never live it down now. “I’m not gonna deny he’s pretty good looking.”
“Pretty good looking? He’s gorgeous as fuck. He’s not a want, he’s a need.” Playfully, she bites her lip suppressing a fit of giggles by burying her face into the textbook. A few others send irritated looks from across the room, which has the pair sinking in their seats. “You think a guy like him is single?”
“Absolutely not. If I had the chance, I’d snatch him up right away.” Her eyes flicker back to the tall man who catches her stare in an instant, he holds it before moving back to surf through the books on the trolley.
A low beat surfaces along the posters, her phone is sandwiched between her shoulder and cheek as she trudges furiously around the room looking for her scarf. Min's voice permeates her ears delicately, despite the alarming sentences he speaks; he converses in length about human anatomy saying that raw flesh must be easier to study than cadaveric tissue. As much as she agrees, just to play devil's advocate she will never admit that.
“I love your voice, Mings. It’s so deep, but like in a comforting way. As if you can protect me.” The declaration escapes her mouth before she can even stop it.
“Do you want to be protected by me, or from me, doll?” A pause lingers in the air, before he lowly chuckles—one that forces her to laugh with him though an uneasy feeling resides within her bones.
“By you, preferably.” She jokes, playing with the pendant of her necklace. A shadow looms by the open doorway, obscuring the stream of light that spills in from the hallway; the deafening silence panics her. “Mum!” She shouts, discarding the phone to the side in a frenzy.
“Yes! I just had a cup of tea for you, were you not studying?” The door is pushed open by nonetheless, her mother who waddles across the carpeted floor to settle the hot beverage down on the table.
“I was, I’m just tired now. Maybe I’ll come back to it later.”
“No, no. Go to bed, dear. I’m off to work, make sure you’re outside by 8, I’ll drop you.” A soft kiss is placed on her forehead, she is calmed by the maternal affection seeing her mother to the door before she dashes back into her room to find her phone.
The call must have been disconnected in the process of her flinging it elsewhere, her hands shake violently as she’s, pathetically, unable to hold the phone steady in her grasp. Mings has spammed her several times with messages, she doesn’t bother to read any of them.
modern-division: i’m tired, going to bed.
psycho.killer: goodnight, babygirl
In the midst of wandering through the aisles of the library, seeking books two shelves above her head, it instantaneously occurs to her that she’s never actually paid much attention to Yuyu and Mings’ pet names that they have for her. Doll, babygirl, darling, love, honey, etc. The list seems to never end yet she ponders the primary reason they get so comfortable around her is because she has never actually given them a reason to stop being so affectionate.
A cascade of books tumble down from the shelf, hitting the floor with a powerful slam—jumping backwards on instinct, she grimaces reaching down from them as a few pairs of eyes stare at her from their tables. Her face heats red in embarrassment, until another pair of hands comes to assist her.
"Goodness, how did you manage this?" Her eyes gleam up into another's; words lodge in her throat upon realisation of the being in front. It's the 'hot librarian', as her and Yeji have trademarked.
"Oh, I—they just fell." He raises his eyes at her.
"They just. Fell." A mischievous smile is sent her way as he stacks the books back onto the shelf, that's too high for her to reach anyway. "We'll call it the force of gravity then, shall we?" Shyly, she nods, handing him the last of the books. Her eyes reel in the name scrawled across the name tag. A thought Yeji will be pleased to hear drifts into her mind.
“I’m Yujin, by the way. I’m always at the help desk if you need to me to stack book that fall off the shelf again.” Her eyebrows furrow in confusion. It clearly says ‘Yunho’, on his name tag. He stalks off in the opposite direction before she can question him, leaving her abandoned in the desolate aisle.
modern-division: the hot librarian lied about his name.
modern-division: I wonder why
Paranoia is no longer a delusion. It must be very true that someone is following after her.
Under the banner of the night, herself and Yeji walk back home after a long day of studying. They amble down the cobbled roads, yet her eyes cannot help but glance over her shoulder. There must be a man of some sort following them, his long calculated strides send a wave of fear pummelling through her. Instantly, she grabs Yeji’s hand dashing down the road towards the convenience store.
The dim lights flicker upon their arrival, she cowers behind the large aisles; ignoring her friend’s imperatives watching as a tall figure saunters into the store.
It’s him.
Jeong Yunho, the Librarian.
Or ‘Yujin’ as he addresses himself for reasons she assumes she will never know why.
Is he her stalker?
“I thought there was someone stalking us. There was a guy who walked all the way from the library to the road we just crossed behind us. I took a detour as well and he kept following.” She breathes out, leaning her head against the shelf.
“Are you kidding? Why didn’t you tell me?” Yeji squawks.
“I didn’t want him to suspect that I knew he was following.”
Her eyes sought ‘Yujin’ who gives her a sincere smile before he makes his way to the exit.
modern-division: I think there was someone following me
psycho.killer: ??? are you home? are you safe now?
modern-division: yes, but shit that was scary.
psycho.killer: let me call you bbg, I’ll help get your mind of it
Her phone vibrates in her hand, her finger traces over the red button before she lifts the device to her ear. His smooth tone infiltrates her ears again, easing the anxiety prevalent in the fibre of her muscles. She doesn’t know how Min does it. He helps her forget all about her problems, it’s as if he himself is the cure.
“Oh hey, baby. There was something I wanted to ask.” He pants slightly, the distant sound of leaves crunching drifts from the other end of the line.
“Are you outside?” He laughs.
“Yeah I’m walking home.” His hasty breaths pervade the line. One after another, a series of profane thoughts enter her mind. She is so disappointed in herself. “So, you got a boyfriend?”
“Why? Do you wanna ask me out on a date?” She teases, a lock of hair curls around her forefinger, the vibrato of his voice truanting into her ears, exhilarating her core as rush of certainty floods into her.
“Maybe, do you have a boyfriend?” He piques, she cannot help but grin at his words as if they are both playing a dangerous game of seduction, one she has never played before and one he has won a countless number of times.
“No.” Her truthful answer is not one that hurts her, though she says it as if she’s lying and has had countless lovers before in the past. Perhaps this is the persona that will have her enigmatic paramour crawling towards her.
“You never told me your name.” He acknowledges, 'Mings' has only ever called her 'doll'. Her moves are careful as she continues her cyber relationship with this unknown man, there's a reason she's at the top of her class—he thinks. A thread of messages enter from another chat room, his sharp eyes reeling in the words of his partner.
“Why do you wanna know my name?” Sheer curiosity. Yes, he told her he’s called ‘Mings’ but it’s just a silly nickname used to gain her trust. What is it really short for: Mingi? Mingyu? And Yuyu? Is it possible that he is Yunho? A foreign uneasiness rushes into her skin, she’s cautious as she sits up in her desk chair.
A bad feeling, an intuition of some sort.
He’s going to tell her something she doesn’t want to hear.
“I wanna know who I’m looking at.” Her finger immediately presses, harshly, onto the red button throwing her phone onto her desk. Her body jumps up from her seat, heart pounding furiously against her chest. With her body leaning closer to the window, her eyes outcast the front lawn in which a slender figure stands outside. A ghosts mask rests upon his face, his lanky frame is shrouded in a loose black cloth concealing the shape of his body. A large brick phone is held up against his ear, when he catches her staring down at him, his head cocks eerily to the side.

A small collection of KOTLC things Shannon told me at 3am
I promise she told me guys, this is totally legit
Dex Dizznee isn’t actually blonde but ginger, he gets his hair color from his dad. The three triplets all have strawberry blonde hair like their mom. His hair is also curly but like, loosely curly, and it’s really dry from all the shit he ‘experiments’ on it with.
Fitz Vacker once accidentally stumbled into a musical while in the human world and now absolutely loves musical songs. His favorite is Phantom of the Opera. It wasn’t like Alden was constantly watching him in the human world so he’d sometimes just sneak into theaters to listen and watch the shows.
Maruca Chebota is the most middle child ever. She has an older and a younger brother, but also another older cousin (Wylie) and two younger cousins. She’s even in the middle in terms of that, which is ironic because her mom is also the middle child between her two siblings.
Terik is Talentless, but he’s got basically a watered-down version of Empathy from his parents, who were both incredibly powerful Empaths who had been tasked with making sure Elves turned into myth for humans. He’s been scamming the whole Elven society for centuries and isn’t about to stop now.
Alina’s family was involved in a scandal when she was very young that resulted in them being cast out from the Nobility and their birth funds being revoked, though they were allowed to remain in Talentless cities. She decided to pursue Alden primarily for his family name - and the fact that she would up being one of the first people on his Match list was just the cherry on top. It made it even worse when he decided to marry Della instead, though at that point it was later enough she could detach herself from her family anyway.
Sophie Foster’s human family were anti-vaxx, Protestant, and Republican. Sophie was always a bit too busy trying to manage her telepathy to notice much about their political stances. Amy is growing to be significantly more liberal and had began to openly argue with them before everything in Nightfall happened.
Alina is Fitz’s biological mother. After Alvar was born and already not shaping up into the son Alden wanted by age 11, she used his desperation to Beguile him into having a child with her. When Alden realized what she’d done he did his best to cut all contact with her, though he did take Fitz, something with both Alina and Della resented. Alvar knew about this, which is why he dislikes Fitz so much while still loving his younger sister, Biana.
Livvy Soden is a triple agent, working in the Black Swan as a spy for the Neverseen as a spy for the Black Swan. No one is quite sure what her intentions are any more.
Wylie Endal has his own group of friends, who are all in their early 20s, and who love making fun of him for being forced to hang out with a bunch of teenagers. His best friend among them is Tanho, who’s Talentless, and was kicked out of his house at age 15 as a result after an abusive childhood. He stayed with Wylie and Tiergan for a few months after while trying to sort himself out, and is a large part of the reason why Wylie is now as observant and skeptical as he is.
Stina Heks isn’t actually an Empath, she’s a Mesmer, but a weak one. Not that she knows it.
It’s not actually Fitz who has the Nobility attitude towards humans, as in condescending and ignorant, though it does seem that way - he spent far too much time in the human world to not pick up on some of the good and interesting parts of humanity as well. It’s Biana, who spent most of her childhood being raised in a fairly isolated group of Elves who all had huge superiority complexes towards other species.
Ruewen is Edaline and Juline’s last names. Juline took Kesler’s last name to finally shut up her parents, who were harping on about how Kesler was using her for her family.
Grady Ruewen’s mother disappeared soon after he manifested as a Mesmer at age 12, resulting in a huge amount of people blaming him for it and his family, already in a precarious social position, to get hit even harder. Taking Edaline’s last name allowed him to entirely reform himself to a new person to the outside world. At least, until Jolie died.
Jolie Ruewen was a part of the Elven equivalent of a punk rock band, which tends to have a slightly more melodious (though still loud and chaotic) sound than human rock. Brant was their singer, and they had their first kiss during a concert, to excite the crowd even more. They decided they liked it and just kept doing it even off stage.
The movement began a few decades earlier, after an illegal trip to the human realm gave some twenty year old elves the idea to begin making their own instruments to try and mimic the sounds they found in the human world.
Tam and Linh Song grew up purposefully separated from each other, with Tam mainly spending time with their Dad and Linh their mom. As a result, Linh developed a love of painting, as it’s some of the only pleasant times she can recall with her mother, and Tam developed a hatred of economics and desk chairs.
Keefe Sencen and Linh Song are really good friends. No one else is aware of this. They also regularly vandalize council buildings.
Despite what certain artists and books will tell you, Elven houses are not made of crystal. They’re based on Ancient architecture, mainly using stone or wood or both, and have a wide variety of designs and patterns depending on where you go.
Most Elves do live in populated cities. Rimshire is a small-ish house located on the outskirts of Mysterium, not as close to the more densely populated parts of the city, but still with a lot of people. However, as Nobility usually do love in isolated, grand estates, it took a bit for Juline to get used to it. As Kesler grew up in a much smaller house with five siblings, he had the opposite experience.
Marella Redek’s favorite aunt is a Neverseen member. Marella is a Black Swan member. They have fought each other before and the next day hugged at a family gathering. Neither are aware of this.
Fitz Vacker talks to his stuffed animals. He has more than one - he has Mr Snuggles, obviously, but also Biana gave him one during Flashback, and Keefe made him one before he left for the Neverseen the first time. They all give different advice. Mr Snuggles sounds like Tiergan, the one Biana gave him sounds like Alvar, and the one Keefe made him sounds like Keefe.
Rayni Aria (Glimmer) was lying about her entire backstory in Stellarlune. Tam is the only one who knows what actually happened to her.
Rayni and Linh eventually grow to tolerate each other, if for Tam’s sake only. Linh can’t deal with having to share the one person she’d always thought would put her first (nevermind if he always would anyway); Rayni sees Linh’s hostility and automatically returns it with her own. As they get used to each other, they can be in a room without arguing or passive aggressively insulting each other.
Despite this, they’re actually very similar people, which makes them both even angrier. Linh can’t even make fun of how he acted with Keefe anymore now because of how she and Rayni act.
The reason Bronte is so mad at Fintan is that he found out that Fintan was dating JRR Tolkien at the same time as they were secretly dating (as to avoid being kicked out from the Council). Fintan was under the mistaken impression Bronte was also dating him, Bronte had misspoken and said he was ‘dating’ Tolkien instead of ‘rating’ Tolkien (as in, his books).
Fitz and Dex are in love, the Vackers are Desi, and Fintan has a flat ass. This is common knowledge though.

My personal headcanons for Elizabeth and Charlie as teenagersssss!!! (an AU where Elizabeth and Charlie are very much alive and well and they grow up together I guess ahhHhhhhh)
Elizabeth:
Natural born PERFORMER! Just like her dad. Loves loves loves making people laugh or just entertaining in general
Bubbly, very much a “girly-girl”. I like to imagine she’s pretty popular at school- given how I like to think she loves a good performance, maybe she’s on the cheer team! That would be cute. Also tries out for the yearly school play for sure, always aims for the MAIN role (maybe she gets it one year and William is just like “THAT’S MY GIRL ON STAGE”)
While she’s generally sweet, I do like to think she’s got a bit of a crazy steak to her. Like father like daughter. Eccentric, cunning, and very smart. If she *wants to*, she would be able to manipulate those around her very very very well, because she comes off as such a sweetheart
Polite, “kill them with kindness” sort of attitude she puts on (especially with the rude customers at her dad’s pizza place. Omfg) unless somebody messes with a person she deeply cares for
Hurricane is a small town (I think…lol), so she’s definitely known as “that girl whose dad is this weird British guy owns that popular pizza place” and naturally people are quite drawn to her because of that, I think. I mean Hurricane doesn’t seem that exciting, of course everybody’s like “omg. British?”
Works as a server at ✨Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza✨
I do like the idea that Charlie teaches her how to skateboard for some reason. That’s so random tho (I drew teenage Lizzie riding a skateboard once that’s literally all)
Charlie:
When I was first drawing my version of a teenage Charlie, I was instantly like “she’d be a teen in the 90s, sooo. I wanna make her a grunge kid”. Idk why, I just love that idea. Ripped jeans, muted flannels, band t-shirts, etc etc. all that. That’s so fun. Even if she’s like a “wanna-be grunge kid” (which is even better imo) I love it
Favorite band is Nirvana for SURE
Expresses interest in wanting to play the drums and her dad got her a drum kit for her 16th birthday 🤗
Nice girl- a little shy, quiet around those she isn’t comfy with, kind of the loner kid at school (I get it, girl, I was that too). She has a good heart though, much like her dad. She doesn’t have a ton of close friends, except Elizabeth, who is by her side basically 24/7. Social anxiety, maybeee (…self projection? Shhh)
Introverted. I imagine she loves to just lay in her room listening to her favorite bands. Maybe she’s really into certain bands- posters, t-shirts, concerts, etc etc. music is a nice escapism when she’s stressed :)
Very Interested in what Henry does- the whole “building robots” thing is very very very COOL to her. Loves to hang with him at the workshop when she can, esp during summer break :) he sorta shows her the ins and outs of what all goes on, and she’s extremely fascinated
Also works at Freddy’s! Sorta just does whatever lol, idk. Elizabeth sticks up for Charlie if a customer is rude to her
Lizzie really isn’t the type of person she’d hang out with typically, but they grew up together and their bond just became stronger :) some kids at school find it strange that these two are pretty different in many ways but are besties
I’m sure I have more, but I’m sleepy so maybe I’ll add onto this later 😭😭 @stub-balls I just want them to be happy :( I love Charlie smmm

IDV Ladies and their Love Languages ♡
Alice DeRoss
Alice’s love language is quality time. Time is something she doesn’t have much, and a lot of the time in her life is unpleasant. When she is able to be around someone and not have to worry about work, her past, or anything else but enjoying the time she’s given, she is more than happy.
-Her favorite things to do include: working on projects with you, sitting and either brushing your hair or having you brush her hair, and listening to music or you talking to her about an interesting subject
-In the manor, the most common place to find her is the Library. No one would be surprised if she eventually ends up reading every book organized on those towering shelves.
-To do something nice for her, offer to let her pick out a few books and read them to her. Sometimes, she gets tired and a little confused, a trait carried through from her childhood, and loves listening to you read so she doesn’t fight with the words on the page.
-However, when she’s feeling good and has plenty of energy, she’s just as happy to read to you, if you wish.
Anne Lester
Anne’s love language is acts of service. When she was younger, she thrived off of words of affirmation, but after being neglected, betrayed, and heartbroken, she’s learned that she can’t take loosely thrown words to heart. When one shows their affections for her, however, she’s all the more likely and happy to reciprocate. While she does thrive off of the praises of others, it means so much more to her if one can both say and show what she means to them. Once she trusts someone, she’s willing to do almost anything.
-What you can do for her to make her feel loved: After a match, ensure she’s ok and take care when patching her up. Show interest in her toys! She would be ecstatic if you asked to make one with her! You two would come up with the cutest idea, maybe two wooden dolls that come together in an embrace when pushed in such a way. No matter what, even if you messed up, she’d be enamored with you.
Demi Bourbon
Physical Touch! No way around it. It’s both how she feels the most loved, and how she shows her affection for others. She’s very outgoing and bright and, though she has a strong temperament, she isn’t quick to anger. Instead, she’s boisterous and hearty, dragging people around, giving them a solid hand to the back, or squishing their face with both her hands whenever she’s excited or happy, which is most days.
-Demi is always happy to have you drag her away to cuddle
-she loves attention from you
-if you were completely fine with public displays of affection, she’d squeeze you as tight as possible then and there, wherever you are.
-but, she’s also fine with being all over you behind closed doors.
-When in matches and you happen to be near each other
-she’ll always kiss you, hug you, or hold your hand
-or if you’re containing the hunter and she passes by you to hand you a drink, her hand will linger as long as possible
-as if to say “come on, you got this.” or “I believe in you.”
Emily Dyer
Word of affirmation is Emily’s love language. She’s very sweet and always tries to see the best in others first. She can be a coward sometimes, and there are certain things that are uncomfortable to her, but when someone says they’re proud of her, or tells her that it's ok to be afraid, and reminds her that she is loved, the world seems like the perfect place to her.
-Emily has a bad habit of getting down on herself and accidentally affecting others with her attitude. She believes that she’s thrown her life away. As she gets older, and doesn’t have that stability she once longed for, her head becomes cloudy.
-She appreciates more than anything when you just take her hands in yours, gently brush your thumbs across the back of her hands and tell her everything’s going to be ok.
-Tell her that everything will work out, that she’s a hard worker and her ambition will pay off
-She’ll instantly perk up, and she’ll absolutely do something sweet for you in return
Emma Woods
Acts of service! Emma has both time and ability aplenty and wishes to put them to good use! If she feels as though she had made a mistake, she’s already making whoever she wronged a nice meal or is offering to take over one of their matches. She seeks out those who she’s bonded with in order to show them the fruits of her labor, whether it be an exuberant bouquet of flowers from her very own garden, or a foldable pop-up card she managed to figure out how to make herself.
-When it comes to being in a relationship with her, you two are practically never apart.
-If you’re still asleep by the time she wakes up, she’ll gently push open your door and waken you with the utmost tenderness and sincerity.
-Either that, or she’ll go ahead and eat breakfast, then bring yours up to you if you have still yet to wake.
-In matches, she prioritizes your health over anything else
-If you’re injured, she’ll forget decoding in order to heal you up
-You better bet she’s risking getting hit to dismantle the chair you’re about to be tied to if you’re caught by the hunter.
-And if she isn’t able to save you in time, or messed something up in a match, she’ll be ready to apologize with a big hug and a sweet treat!
Fiona Gilman
Fiona loves giving and receiving gifts! Despite the fact that she’s not materialistic, like at all, she loves knowing that something reminds someone of her. Her room is filled with trinkets and fun things that signify her relationships with other people. She’s easily attached, but smart about her relationships.
-It can get difficult for you, sometimes. Fiona will come back with a rock found on some map where she was playing.
- “Look,” she points excitedly, “This vein of blue reminded me so much of the time you and I…”
-“And these little specks of gold…”
-She’ll explain every meaning she found in this small rock, and you smile, grateful, for the gift.
-But then you have to go back to your room and find a place for it next to the 12 others.
-It's ok though, she’s just as happy when you do the same.
Helena Adams
Physical touch. How could it not be? Having lost her sight at a young age, she hasn’t been able to see much of the world, but she’s certainly been able to feel it. She loves to feel the curves, calluses, and crevices of one's hands, holding them intently not because she needs to be led, but because she wants to experience.
-After getting comfortable with you as a person. One night, she asked bashfully if she could take your face in her hands
-She spent an hour just running her smooth, small fingers over each minute detail of your features, as if memorizing how you look without even seeing you
-It became her favorite thing to do
-She loves everything that makes your face unique. The shape of your nose, where your forehead becomes your hairline, the shape of your lips, all of it.
-Even though by now she knows what you look like by heart, she still can’t help but putting her hands on your cheeks and peppering kisses over where she loves the most
-only in private, though
-But you can hold her hand any time you want
Margaretha Zelle
Quality time! She believes in choosing what to do with her own life, so choosing to spend time with someone equates to value, since she chose for herself what to do! Margaretha can be absent-minded at times, and is very grateful if someone reminds her to do something, or better yet, helps her out. Cleaning, cooking, playing in matches. It would lighten her load and make her oh so happy if someone were there with her.
-She often wishes that you could be in every match with her.
-She really appreciates it when you volunteer to take someone’s place just to be with her
-Sometimes that's a mistake, though
-If you happen to be near her at the beginning of the match, she place down a music box for speed, and instead of promptly decoding, she’ll grab your hand and pull you into a dance
-A few matches have gone wrong this way
-but that doesn’t stop her from spending time with you
Note: Sorry for not posting anything yesterday, I got home really late and almost immediately fell asleep. The second half of the women of idv will be posted tomorrow. I'll probably make 2 more posts like this after that, two for the men, and let me know if this subject for select hunters sounds appealing! Thank you all for your support! I love you <3
(also, this is not proof-read, I'll probably edit it tomorrow)

OKAY SO, a while ago I had a very bizarre crossover idea while I was half asleep that seemed entertaining to me when i got more sleep. Anyway, the crossover is for Grojband and Murder Drones. Weird combo I know, but hear me out.
it would be a human au for md with Nori being Kin and Kon’s triplet. I feel like it works a little too well than it should.
She’d be super close to the band but wouldn’t be a part of it. She’s just hanging out, giving constructive criticism on their music, and helping them get the diary from Trina. I envision her as kinda like the band’s publicist and helps them stay out of too much trouble. However, my girl is a chill gremlin so she wouldn’t be above tormenting Trina.
Her relationship with each band member I like to believe would have some fun dynamics too. I think she would be great friends with Laney, constantly correcting the boys when they misgender her.(i.e Corey saying, “Boys and Nori” to get everyone’s attention and Nori responding with “Boys, Nori, and Laney.”) Nori would tell her, “The two brain cells gotta stick together.” She’d also hype Laney up when it comes to her crush on Corey and she’s definitely listened to Laney rant about Corey being oblivious.
Her dynamic with Corey would be chill gremlin and adhd gremlin. You cannot leave these two alone together because if you do Nori will hype up Corey into doing something stupid. She loses the brain cell when she hangs out Corey though, so she’ll also probably be doing something stupid. She would affectionately call Corey the blue haired idiot and he in turn would call her the purple haired nerd.
Her dynamic with Kin would be two geniuses who respect each other but also piss each other off repeatedly. She has to constantly tell him not to try and take over the world. He calls her a buzzkill for it. But the two do help each other a lot with projects. Kin would really care about his female triplet. He just would show it in weird ways, like giving her a cd of whale sounds and book to decode dream meanings after an argument. Nori would in turn go to the dump and get him the pieces he needs for his most recent project or just broken things people have thrown out that she thinks he would like to repair.
Kon is basically her best friend. The two are super close and Kon knows everything about her and she knows everything about him. She does find his obsession with cheese odd though while he finds her obsession with drones odder. Nori is totally against Kon’s crush on Trina but when he starts to like Konnie, she’s like “oh that makes sense.” More than once these two have pretended to be giants with the tiny soaps together.
Oh! And she would meet Khan at one of Grojband’s gigs! That would need to be another post though which I will probably do even if people don’t like this crossover. This is fun!
Hope this makes some sense and was slightly entertaining! You can send me asks about this, I’d be more than willing to explain more if you’re interested, I kinda want want to info dump about this crossover lol

[TRANSLATION] The story of how capsule formed (from Interview File Cast vol.24)
The following is the first page from capsule's interview with Interview File Cast, published in the summer of 2001 while promoting their second single Hanabi. Translation by ystk-archive; rest of the interview will be done...hopefully someday! (It's ten pages long.)
▼ᐃ▼
– Since this is your first interview with us, I’d like to start off by asking how you two got to debut as capsule. I heard you met at the 1997 Hokuriku Teens’ Music Festival…
Nakata: That’s right. We knew of each other’s existence before then, but we’d just say “hey” and that was it. We might’ve spoken properly for the first time at that festival. She was doing some kind of acoustic pop music there with a girl who played the keyboard. Koshijima was the one who did the singing.¹
– Was the type of music they were doing pretty simple compared to what you do now?
Koshijima: I’d say so. Nakata: She just sang ballads and that was it. I had met all kinds of people doing music before I even went to the festival, but at the time I was a soloist and the songs I performed were all instrumental. I’d been thinking I wanted to make vocal music, so I was wondering if I should be looking for a singer… And she just happened to be there. Koshijima: Uh-huh, I just happened to be there. It was entirely by chance, me being there (laughs). Nakata: (laughs) It was a little while after that before we actually formed the unit, but in the meantime we recorded a demo tape.
– Together?
Nakata: Yes. To be honest, my goal was to record a demo tape. We didn’t particularly want to do performances.
– You only recorded a demo tape?
Nakata: So when I talked to her, I asked her if she could do me a favor. I went like, “I was wondering if you’d wanna try singing a song for me…” The track that she sang on was pretty good, lots of people who listened to it told me “it’s amazing!” – even the staff members liked it.² That put the idea in my head to do more songs with her, and while we were working on those we started wondering if it’d be a good idea to try performing live. Then it was like, well then, let’s think of a name for the unit. So that’s the reason why capsule formed. That said, it did take a while from when we recorded that song on the demo tape to actually create the unit; I think maybe two months or more.
– The fact that all this started from just wanting to record a demo tape makes for a rather interesting story of how you two met. But Koshijima-san, what was your first impression of Nakata-san, when he approached you like that?
Koshijima: He was kinda intimidating because he seemed like he didn’t want to have anything to do with anyone, but once I started speaking with him he was surprisingly easy to talk to.
– So you had no problem agreeing to record the demo?
Koshijima: Even though I was already involved in a music duo with another person, I also felt like I wanted to work with other people… I thought it was good timing, so I said “OK.”
– On the other hand, Nakata-san, what kind of first impression did you have of Koshijima-san?
Nakata: My first impression of her? …To put it nicely, she was very interested in what other people were doing? Koshijima: That sounds kinda bad (laughs).
– (laughs). How so?
Koshijima: It’s like saying I’m nosy? Nakata: You were popping up all over the place (laughs). Like anywhere that there were people, you would show up... Or at least that’s what I noticed. It wasn’t even humanly possible, the way you managed to be everywhere. You’d be there before I even realized it. Koshijima: (laughs)
– Promoting yourself is important though.
Koshijima: That’s right. Nakata: She’s the type to show off when she does anything even remotely fun. I would take photos with my friends at concerts and stuff, and she’d show up in the background even though I didn’t know her at all. I was like, “Why are you in this picture?” (laughs) Koshijima: Like you were thinking “who the hell is this?” (laughs)
– Would you say that the reason you ran into each other so often was because you were both pursuing music?
Koshijima: That, and the live houses were reeeally small. Nakata: Plus we were in the same grade level.
– Did you go to the same high school?
Koshijima: We went to different schools. We met by chance at local venues.
¹ The duo Koshijima was in with another girl was called “chick.” ² I’m not sure what staff members he’s referring to here.

Again with Trudy y’all!
Okay SO! We all know that Trudy HAS to have excellent taste in music. Like look at her.
I’m sure this woman has been gradually building up her musical library since she could afford it and now she has like 10 000 songs or something.
I think she sings a lot by herself like just jamming as she works on her kestrel or does stuff around the lab and eventually she starts sharing the music with Spider.
So it becomes like a mama-son thing for to give him one of her earpieces and they just sing at the top of their lungs together and have dance parties. Trudy used to be way more private about people seeing her sing or dance but like after the shit she’s gone through on Pandora it seems pretty trivial, plus it makes the kid happy so she’s just like whatever.
I also think that Trudy would have a great voice. Like I think she’d have a strong belt with a bit of a rasp to it (think kind of voice like Persephone from Hadestown’s voice). Like she can go pretty deep in her voice, her range is good. She can’t hit super high notes though, her throat tightens up at those and just like refuses to work.
Spider also has incredible range. He’s been a good singer since he was a kid both in Na’vi and in English and Spanish. He just has an ear for music and he loves it because it’s a different form of storytelling for him. He can hit those high notes even as he grows older, not like soprano level but mezzo-soprano or something.
Now I’m not enough of a music connoisseur to give a definitive look at what Truyd’s taste in music is but I can try from what I know. I think her vibe would be like 80s and 90s rock and some indie music. Like Spider, she also really listens to the lyrics of songs and not just the sound so most of her song collection has what she considers to be meaningful lyrics, with only a few staple generic pop songs that she can’t help but like. I think she’d be into indie music as well and some grunge. The type of music that comes to mind from my limited knowledge would be Paramore, Pink, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Journey, Aerosmith, etc. I think she’d have some Taylor Swift songs up in there; though I’m not like a die hard Swiftie, I’ve listened to her lyrics and her writing is honestly great so yeah she’s on there. I also think her guilty pleasure would be musicals; she doesn’t even show Spider those at first because she had a bad experience for her fellow soldiers judging her about it when she first joined the army, but eventually Spider gets unlimited access to her collection. And he eats that shit up! Yet another form of storytelling for him to explore that mixes narrative and song and sound and she finds out because she finds him belting along to like a Heathers song or something cause he has already memorized the lyrics.
I also am so sure Trudy has some sort of sex playlist listed an an obscure name with some dirty songs. That isn’t really my area of expertise though so I don’t know what would be on there per se but yeah. Though I am picturing this one song I know called “Kiss or Kill”. I don’t think she’d have any songs on there that are like super explicit but more just capture the feeling of when she’s in a sexy mood. I’m also picturing Dove Cameron’s “Boyfriend” being on there.
And we can’t forget her roots! She’s gotta have a huge Spanish playlist. Again this is not my expertise but I have a friend who does know! So hopefully I will make like an update post for that to include some songs she would have on there soon! If anyone does have any ideas I’d love to hear them.
So yeah Spider and Trudy have song alongs and dance nights together and that fills my brain tbh.
If anyone is interested in submitting songs you think Trudy would listen to, I would love to see them and maybe make a playlist out of them to share on here!

To my dear house-of-lovin:
I have a series of questions about Legally Binding bear with me, this is all merely speculation and possibly too much all at once so I apologize in advance.
Cherry-pick from this ask if you have to!ᵕ̈
How young was R when she’d been forced to start acting and singing?
I read somewhere on your page that you answered early teens! And you referenced Zendaya so I’m assuming she got her big break at possibly 14 and before that moderately small acting gigs?
R definitely seems to have a passion for music but how often does she get to produce?
She also seems like the type to make music more for herself than to share with the public given her history, I think not only something she really enjoys but uses as an outlet to cope with things.
Can you give us a few songs as reference to what music R’s produced?
I’m interested in listening to them from R’s POV! Personally, I thought of Never Felt So Alone by Labrinyth. I have no fucking clue at all what song R’s creating right now and I’m assuming since it’s for Coachella it has to be upbeat but might I suggest thinking about Good News by Mac Miller. Pfft or even The Spins by Mac Miller, fun, cocky and memorable like R.
Is there someone else in particular besides her family that made her start to think of everything she does in public from a ‘business standpoint’?
What character in the MCU does R play?
For me the first character that came to mind is possibly someone from the Spider-Verse! I mean why not bend some truths and pretend there’s one Spider-Verse comic that fits R’s description? I think it would align with the fact that R’s been an actor since her teen years and by now if a few movies have been released; her Spider-Verse character has got to be aligned with her age!
Hmm so I’ve read through someone else’s asks and you mentioned not having enough time to look up tv shows and movies aligning with R’s age. I was thinking for some of them, why not just have R’s character in said projects be someone that doesn’t necessarily exist in the current adaptation but is popular anyways?
For other fandoms you say? Is what you wrote still lurking on those platforms I’m curious! Your daydreaming keeps us supporters taken care of.
What kinda music do you play/listen to? I listen to just about everything under the sun except Heavy Metal, too much shouting and I’m already losing my hearing as is lmao.
(I love to trespass abandoned building/areas, for the first date just run when I do and we’ll be good but that’s at night, can and do you like swimming? If you say yes then during the day we’re exploring open waters/pretty nature on a jet ski (safe waters dw)
Am I possibly also picking the first activity to be be held? Ahem HEARSAY you can’t prove that)
Cordially,
Specter
I think yes early teens like 13 or 14 possibly. I think somewhere in my head Justin Bieber was lowkey a reference for R's character.
R gets her big break as a teen and does roles for smaller movies that gain her critical acclaim until major studios recognize her. (Sorry to Hailee but maybe Edge of Seventeen as one of those movies LOL) Before def small roles. (Idk what good movies have a 13 or 14 year old soooo)
I don't have a list of songs for R but with all the asks its def building. I'd love to hear what you guys think? But like I answered before, I see slow & modern R&B. Like SZA (cussing songs LOL), Frank Ocean, Omar Apollo, Yebba. BUT OMG I LOVE MAC.
I feel like with R's family background & starting so young it made her grow up faster than most. So I think over the years, she's just built a wall around herself around people in the industry giving her that 'business standpoint' mentality. I mean come on, there's no way she's had a whole career w/out getting burned by someone. It happens more often than ppl think.
I think her MCU role is def a spider-verse role too! Maybe there's a version of her a Spider-Gwen in the MCU movies LOL IDK.
There's a fic or two on AO3 for a totally unrelated fandom but its a couple years old so idk its kinda cringe LOL. (I also have a Kate Bishop unfinished series that I've just never posted LOL)
I play the guitar so I listen to a whole variety of genres! I like/am open to most music except heavy metal too lol. But I love R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rap. I like older music too so I listen to a lot of 50s, 60s and 70s. EVERYTHING. I WANT TO LISTEN TO EVERY SONG EVER MADE LOL. (but same my hearing is shit lol)
I CAN swin (somewhat) I just can't tread water (ik ik disgraceful) but jet ski you say👀
(I'm indecisive af so I need ppl to plan things for me LOL)
ENJOYED ANSWERING THIS <3

i feel bad sending long asks but I LOVE analyzing characters even if I’m wrong.. like yeah I’m wrong but then I’ll get corrected so I can understand the characters better so rlly.. I WON.
i did notice that aespayn seemed more happy w bada, being w karina probably stresses her out a little 😭.
richgirlyn… it’s interesting that you say most of the things I said abt aespayn r applicable to richgirlyn.. because I thought it was the other way around. i have a LOT of thoughts abt richgirlyn but I don’t want to write another essay to save you from having to read my yapping..
i thought richgirlyn would actually know herself a little better.. I mean she’s aware she’s putting up a confident front, she’s aware that being thought of as just a rich princess hurts her.. idk something about the way you write her being playful but also kind of arguing w chaewon.. I feel like she lets her real personality slip through sometimes where she’s more calm.. solemn maybe?? I could also be reading this wrong but I think if you left her alone w her thoughts and no one to perform for she’d be like.. calm. think abt her life maybe. or is it like a ‘the mask you wear becomes your face’ situation.. it’s hard for me 2 figure out these things because these r NAWT introspective think pieces 😭😭I need to stop tryna psychoanalyze everyone..
the way I read it was that she separates herself from her “rich” image, like how she was just listening to music in her room and being a little more vulnerable there?? when she doesn’t have to perform for herself, she’s just herself.. not a super confident witty girlboss.. just a girl. or is that her real personality? maybe I just don’t have any literacy but how big of a mask.. is the mask.. like clearly her defense mechanism is to make a snarky/sarcastic remark or joke back whenever chaewon is mean.. so you can tell it definitely effects her a little. it’s probably not smth she enjoys but she’s built her image so she’s okay w living with it.. or maybe it’s a mix of both! she truly is confident and playful but she plays it up. irdk!!

yeah she’s always on high alert with karina ngl 😭
when I said the stuff that you said about aespa!yn reminding me about richgirl!yn I was more so leaning towards the rich kid with problems point of view not the knowing herself point of view 😭 (yk putting up a front that they’re so confident and unbothered and stuff)
richgirl!yn definitely knows herself no doubt she’s aware that she puts up a confident front, she’s aware that she’s privileged, she aware of the hurt she feels sometimes when chaewon passes certain comments.
The thing with her is the sassy witty girl you see is her personality that is her but that’s not all she is, shes someone shoes creative, someone who works hard, she’s hurt by chaewon’s comments because she’s hurt that that’s all what people see her for (even her members that just don’t say it up to her face like chaewon does, she knows they love her but she also knows that they don’t think much about her when it comes to other factors of her besides her fathers money ) but she’d rather play into it than show that she’s hurt, she was raised to be strong and to think that she’s better than everyone, she was raised to not let people see emotions because she’s richer and better and that’s when the letting things slip up part comes into it.
She’s not letting her real personality slip, she’s letting her vulnerability slip, especially when she was talking about tiffany in the last richgirl!yn work.
but ur so right about her snarky comebacks and playful teasing being a defence mechanism she doesn’t want to show any vulnerability or that she’s hurt because that’s how she was raised (kinda like how cib!yn was raised to believe that love was useless which is why she kinda ignores signs of someone liking her or is just completely oblivious to things)

Pretty sure it was moved to the beta editor But Tumblr doesn't seem to think it was, so...
Thread move/continuation from: this post || @hxpelessnurse ||
🩹 - Mikan
Mikan felt a sigh of relief leave her as he told her not to apologize. “Most of m-my friends are single still too,” She added. “I definitely th-think M-Mioda could use someone to… calm her down a little.” The rocker was a rather wild one, and considering her rise to fame in the underground idol world, she was quite popular with both men and women alike. Still, Ibuki seemed far too distracted with causing chaos and making music to settle down. Mahiru and Hiyoko were on their own. They seemed quite happy together and Mikan had no intentions of breaking that apart. And as for her other friends? They were all off doing other things or working in the hospitals alongside her. She could probably gather a handful of friends who would be interested in a mixer party. But she’d think about that later. Mikan listened to him talk, her eyes lighting up as he explained he’d visited Seoul before. “L-Lucky! I’ve only been wh-when I was really little,” she replied. “I b-barely remember my trip with my g-grandmother.”
“I g-guess… people with older ideologies tend to shun those who d-don’t quite fit the molds that they think s-society should have… I’m n-not upset over it. I’ve lived my whole life with p-people telling m-me I’m not fully Japanese. It doesn’t offend me like people think it should.” There were far worse things she could get upset over. He was right about people coming from different backgrounds being more interesting though. She always found patients who came from other places to have the best stories to tell. “Really? I would have n-never guessed!” She exclaimed, taking a sip of her drink. “I know how you feel. K-Kids can be really cruel for no reason. But I don’t b-blame them. They don’t know any better.” Mikan leaned back in her seat, a genuine sense of connection forming between them. Part of her wanted to ask him home with her - a bad habit she had desperately tried to rid when she was younger - but she wanted to take this a little slower than her past relationships. Minato seemed too good to be true and she wasn’t about to let it go sour so early on. “Eh… so… I know this is b-being a little forward. But I f-figured since I’d already mentioned it before… I’d really like to do this again w-with you.”
[{ 🦋 }] - "Sounds like this Mioda friend of yours has a lot of energy, A little too much. Kind of reminds me of my best friend Junpei, that guy can always bring the hype, and make any moment more vibrant with his energy."
A soft chuckle as he thinks of a few times his best buddy did what he does best, be the same outgoing dude he was known for being. There was never a dull moment with his best friend Junpei Iori around. If his buddy agreed to come, he would more than likely just come for the party to meet new friends, as Junpei was in a relationship with Chidori Yoshino, and he honestly couldn't be any happier for those two.
For some reason, Minato felt like that name sounded very familiar, he didn't know anyone with that name personally, but he could have sworn he heard it somewhere before, he just couldn't remember. Either way, this person sounded a bit overly energetic, It made him curious about her other friends she has, especially since this Mioda character sounded very happy-go-lucky, and that wasn't a bad thing either.
When they further spoke about Korean food, Minato brought up his most recent visit to Seoul, a travel experience that he thoroughly enjoyed, not just for the wonderful food, but also because of the location he was investigating at the time, good food, and constant communication with spirits was a perfect recipe for a very good trip if he ever went to Seoul again, he would definitely have to invite Mikan to join him, especially if she hadn't been there for a long time, and besides, not only did he enjoy her company, it would also be a very nice switch since he had been there only with his coworkers, it would be especially enjoyable with Mikan Tsumiki right by his side.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Really? Hmm, in that case, the next time I go to Seoul, maybe can come along? I'd be happy to have you with me on that trip."
Hearing her state something so boldly that she lived her life being cast aside due to the slight difference, it kind of amazed him. On the outside, Mikan appeared so weak and frail, but never did he think that she would be so strong after living through that for such a long time.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah, I think so too. But, wow... you're much stronger than I thought, I am very glad.. I admire that about you Mikan."
A soft chuckle after Minato revealed his other ethnic origin, something that was often hard to believe when it came to it, Thankfully, just like he thought, she understood how it felt too.
[{ 🦋 }] - "Yeah, it's hard to tell sometimes, and people these days can definitely be that way. Some kids can definitely be cruel, but they'll learn eventually."
Minato was a little surprised when she asked for a second date, he honestly didn't think it would happen, so evidently, but he wasn't complaining this time it didn't take him long to have an answer, because he also wanted to have another date with her, so he smiles.
[{ 🦋 }] - "You're not being too forward, in fact, I would be more than happy to go on a second date with you Mikan, I'm really enjoying this time we're spending together, and I'm looking forward to more." He says with a smile.

Yippee !! (I'm Previous ask btw)
I was wondering what some of your favorite parts/lines are from the UK version? (I just wanna hear more of your thoughts) :D
I was really surprised by Aimie Atkinson. Like, I wasn’t expecting to like her because I’m super familiar with her performance in Six, which is such a different character and a different music style. I was very surprised by how beautiful she sounds on more ballad types. Like, I still believe that the shinigami should be played by Japanese actors, but when I think about favorite parts, Aimie is the immediate standout.
I especially really liked the relationship between Ryuk and Rem. Like take Mortals and Fools. I was expecting the duet between Misa and Rem where Rem is pointing out all the bad things love causes where Misa responds with the good ones - I wasn’t expecting a reprise as Rem’s feelings deepen between her and Ryuk that honestly might be lyrically identical the original, where now she’s singing Misa’s lines about the upsides of love and he’s trying to remind her that they’re shinigami and not made for love. Another example is when Misa first meets Light. Rem says something to the effect of “Misa, don’t get involved with him” and Ryuk says to Rem very sharply “Don’t interfere.” And at the end of the Mortals and Fools reprise when she’s singing the final line “Love makes you break-“ he interrupts her and says “Rem. Don’t break the rules.” And his tone when he said it was… almost scared? Like it really felt like she really was the only sentient thing he actually cared about in any way and after she’s gone, his actions towards Light turn from mild interest to open anger and disdain, which may not be an aspect to any previous telling of the story but I really loved in this one.
Also, the random rap section in I’m Ready is just hilarious and amazing. Like in the West End Live performance she does it a little, but the version in the actual show is longer and has more words and it’s very amusing to me.
I also really liked Sayu having a larger role. Their Sayu was so cute and the fact that, like, Light only hears Misa’s new song because she bursts into his room to make him listen to it is so indicative of my relationship with my brother, I loved it.
I’ve already mourned the loss of the first verse of The Way It Ends but I’m happy to say that otherwise, everything seems to be intact? I was really worried that, like, songs would be cut and I was especially worried about Honor Bound, but happy to announce that it is intact and was performed with the perfect amount of restraint with a touch of fear, like what if I really am wrong about this?
Honestly, I can’t even think of a weak link. Like, perhaps Light, because he wasn’t a likeable character at all, but I’ve recently started rewatching the anime and… Light just isn’t a likeable character. I also didn’t love their L but I think that was just because L is a character that I love the physical appearance of and like.. where’s the messy hair? Also, his mannerisms are hard to capture, I’ll grant that. But like, I see videos from other productions that @deathnote-dramanmusical posts and I see their Light and L’s and am kind of bummed because I wish we had gotten portrayals more like that.
But overall, I think it translated to the stage well, I think the numbers are really good that we’ll see either a tour or an actual sit down production and maybe, in a year or two, a transfer to the US, and I’m ready. I can already see Eva Noblezada as Misa, and the Tony nomination she’d bag for it. Oh, and how fun would it be to have Adam Jacobs as Light and Arielle as Sayu?
#Parker’s asks#death note musical#please feel free to ask more specific questions as well#if you want thoughts on more specific parts#but these are what stands out to me as really iconic moments

ridi i'm LOVING all these unpopular opinions!! music haterism is always justified imo and soo entertaining also love that i agree with you 100% on basically everything 😌 some of these things just had to be said…
i thought i didn’t have anything to add because ts, hs etc have all been spoken about and i don’t listen to modern music enough to have strong opinions on any others but then i remembered my BIGGEST parasocial enemy (who i never talk about bc i don’t really have that good a reason to find her annoying i just do) is beabadoobea…
apologies in advance but she sort of represents everything wrong with the music industry rn to me so maybe a rant is justified here? anyway taking this opportunity to say i think she’s so overrated and not in a unique way, like it isn’t new for people to get careers from how they look but in her case specifically it annoys me sm because of what her fans are like and also it’s close to home…as in my cousin is one of her best friends from school so i knew of her when she started releasing music on band camp and had to watch her make a music career off being pretty on instagram with the four chords my cousin taught her on guitar and a voice that’s just…fine, and whatever everyone has to start somewhere except she got a record deal when her sound was completely underdeveloped before she’d had time to learn anything about music or her own artistry and like fuck around experimenting for a while.
which is so common these days i think w people blowing up on social media and getting handed careers i.e riding on the people who can actually play their instruments and getting loads of money thrown at them to make really bland four chord nothing songs... like in the first few years of her career she made so much music and it was all so boring and sounded exactly the same, even now it might be unfair but i do just assume any vaguely interesting part of her output is someone else’s work like sorry she’s never had to come up with her own fully fledged ideas or concepts and she’s been working with the pressure of commercial viability the whole time, any potential she might have had i just think was squandered by having everything come too fast and too easily or maybe i'm being generous and her authentic sound is just boring idk because it still doesn't seem like she has anything to say…all this wouldn’t be as bad if her fans weren’t sooo insanely annoying about her + as a person i have no real reason to but i just do not like her :| my cousin is still good friends with her as well so i have to pretend i know nothing but the picture of her i’ve built from things my cousin’s said…just aggravating, alsoo she’d played at my work once when my friend was on shift and her ex bf that looks a tiny bit like george harrison was sitting at the bar the whole time drinking water and not talking to anyone while she was doing coke in the bathroom and he looked so pathetic my friend started talking to him to cheer him up in between serving him his next cup of tap water…
HELLO MY DARLING!! oh my god i didnt realise she needed to come up until you said it...bebadoobedobee...beadbeadooebadoo..clapping n cheering for your rant because youre fucking RIGHT i have a few friends who like her and have tried to get me to listen to her and she was just. appalling truly and as you say not even just in a ah shes trying shes young she'll get better kind of way but in a this is genuinely unbelievably soulless and bland and boring and says so little that even she seems disinterested with it. the inside scoop on her from your cousin is delicious also gbfskjfskd her poor sad george harrison boyfriend..
i think youre so right and i dont mean that new artists shouldnt be given a break or an opportunity or anything but like you say, when theyre being harvested on social media, where a lot of the time look is everything (as i believe it is for bebadoobebdoo, her look her 'aesthetic' pinterest-board fashion sense does play a part i really think it does because there is no way her music is strong enough on its own to be successful) and where they may not necessarily be super experienced or practiced yet (which again, i appreciate, theyre new), a lot of money goes into getting songs out of them which are inevitably boring unimaginative four-chord songs that do not have enough substance to make anyone feel anything. including the people singing them. i cant imagine that beabadoobee demonstrated enough genuine musical promise to be given a record deal so i have to believe its either her image or the idea that well if we give her tons of expensive resources maybe then she'll end up putting out something good.
there have to be new artists out there who are more talented and interesting and would do more with the sort of record deal thrown at beabadoobebee than beabadoobdbbee did...surely...i really did try to like her because my friends raved about her so much so i listened to a fair bit from her and her music was just so staggeringly nothing. i think you make a good point about how the fact that she got a record deal so early on probably has sort of stifled the music she makes/her ability to experiment with it but im not sure im as kind as you because i do fear she is just not very talented perhaps. sorry giggling at her sad george harrison tapwater drinking boyfriend again poor lad..
#wasnt she responsible for that terrible coffee song...dont stay away for too long dont blah blah ill make a cup of coffe for your head?#apologies to bebabdoabdoo if that wasnt her but god that song is so fucking annoying it makes me genuinely seethe to hear it#simmy tag#unpopular music opinions

Tongue tied!!
Ummm so my names rosie I’m British, I love horror movies and indie music. Primarily sad stuff like phoebe bridgers and boygenius. I’m a bit blunt sometimes and I drink lots of lemon tea when I’m stressed.
I would love a criminal minds ship if that’s okay? And I just have to say it’s so fun to see another phoebe marauders criminal minds loving person on here hahahah
ohmygosh! so, definitely spence or emily, i would say?
spencer would absolutely LOVE to watch horror movies with you. we’ve all seen how this man is on halloween, he lives for that. and while he may be the type to want to talk about how unrealistic things are, or the myths behind everything going on, i think it’d be such a cute little date night or just moment together! i’m not sure how he would feel about the music, mainly because i don’t think he’d have the best taste in music. he just wouldn’t keep up with trends or popular artists. i feel like if he did listen to music, which would be rarely, it’d honestly be something really bad like electronic music (i’m sorry if this is your style if someone else reads this. i’m just not the biggest fan) just because he doesn’t really know anything else? i don’t think he’d listen to it all that much though, he strikes me more as a podcast type of guy when he’s not reading. the bluntness would definitely be a good sort of cancelling out, though! while he rants and rambles a lot, he’s very awkward (at least in the earlier seasons, which is what i’m thinking about here) and he wouldn’t be super outspoken. not purposefully, at least. he might be intimidated by that about you at first, but i think it’d balance the two of you out very nicely. and then the tea 😭 i know this kid is obsessed with coffee, but tea just seems like such a spencer thing aswell! i feel like he’d make it for you all the time if he noticed the signs of you being stressed and just try to help as much as possible :( my sweet lover
as for emily, i don’t know if there’s many scenes of her talking about horror movies? there probably is and i’m just forgetting, but she does strike me as the type to enjoy them! she may not be the biggest fan at first, not wanting to see even more gore than she does already at her job, but she’d quickly get into it. especially franchises and things like scream, where you have to try and figure out the killer and things like that, she’d definitely enjoy. AND PHOEBE BRIDGERS IS SO EMILY CODED!!! i don’t know why but i can see her listening to artists like that. she’d definitely listen to upbeat music as well, but she strikes me as such a lana type of girl and i feel like phoebe would be good aswell. and boygenius!!! this just screams emily to me. you two could share earbuds on the jet!! couple goals! also you being british is so emily’s type. she’s attracted to accents, let me tell you. she hears it once and she’s all heart eyes, slack jaw, in love. the bluntness wouldn’t really cancel out, but it’d impress her! she’d like the fact that you’re willing to speak your opinion and express how you feel and all, especially since she does the same so you don’t have to tiptoe around everything. you don’t like something, you can just say it. and she’d love that so much. as for the lemon tea, i can honestly say i have no idea what emily would drink or enjoy but!! would definitely make it for you. she’d try to downplay it like it’s no big deal, it barely took any time, don’t mention it. seriously, don’t mention it. but it’s just so cute and it’s how you know she likes you!! acts of service is so her love language. (that & quality time)
this was so fun, thank you for this, rosie!!! and it’s lovely to meet someone with the same interests as well :)

Feb. 7, 1937: The Girl of the Day
Whatta contract!
And because of it, Carole Lombard is definitely the girl of the day out here in Hollywood.
Tucked away among her personal effects is a brand-new agreement with Paramount which calls for two pictures a year, at $150,000 a picture, for three straight years – no options. Of course, other stars have come at higher figures. Carole could have got more money, too, but she didn’t want more money.
The studio begged her to make four pictures per annum, which would have doubled the ante from $300,000 a year to $600,000.Now Carole still likes to make pictures, but she also likes some time to herself. She said no – she’d make two. Studio no likee – Carole no signee.
So before another company had a chance to muscle in and grab her off – and there were plenty of them who wanted her – Paramount drew up the bill o’fare and shoved it under a pen.
The contract also gives Miss Lombard the option of making a third picture a year, at the same price, either on or off the lot.
That reads like a lot of dough. One might even say that it represents a typical Hollywood success, except for the fact that there is nothing typical about Carole Lombard or the place she occupies in the Hollywood scene. You have only to see the stunning blond from Indiana on the set, in front of the scenes and behind them, to realize that she has no imitators. Only one person could get away with being Carole Lombard, and that’s the girl herself.
If you want to see the human counterpart of a streamline steam engine – watch Carole Lombard at work. Her laughter is raucous- her language is lusty. Seriously rehearsing one moment, she’s hysterically acting out some humorous incident the next.
That’s Carole – the darling of the press and sometimes their despair – the adored of the studio gang she works with. Her love of a laugh, her spark and her fire and her undisciplined effervescence, together with that determined will of hers, are just a few of the more explosive ingredients that make her the most vital and independent personality on the screen. She gives “spontaneous combustion” new meaning.
Let’s go out on the set of “Swing High, Swing Low” where Carole is working. It seems as though that’s going to be difficult. The set is virtually closed. Miss Lombard isn’t any too fond of visitors on the sound stage.
For many weeks, they tell you, she hasn’t granted a single interview and has left very definite instructions that she was not to be disturbed while working on “Swing High, Swing Low.” Upon hearing this, everyone nodded knowingly and said: “Uh huh, she’s afraid people will ask about Gable.”
Afraid? Carole Lombard? Fiddlesticks!
Be that as it may, this reporter was unbelievably lucky, with the result that she went on the Lombard set at 11 o’clock one morning and remained until 4 o’clock that afternoon.
The set was that of a cheap little cafe in Cuba. Fred MacMurray was there, and Cecil Cunningham and Director Mitchell Leisen and Charles Butterworth, and Carole was there. Oh yes, you knew the minute the weighty stage door was swung upon for you, that Carole was there. Every bit of business transacted on that set revolved around her.
It was interesting to note that, still chuckling as she left her gold and white portable dressing room, Carole went directly into a scene in which she had to cry. How simply she did it. No walking up and down trying to work herself into a frenzy. No listening to woeful music, no waits, no delays. When her cue came she burst into tears – real ones.
Ask her how it’s possible to turn on the faucet so convincingly without apparent provocation and she says: “The scene itself does it. That’s all there is to it.”
“Like this picture?” she echoed. “Very much. It’s a grand story and we’re having the time of our lives making it.”
“You know,” she continued, “that the formula for making motion pictures is gradually changing. Directors are beginning to let the characters evolve their own situations on the spur of the moment instead of concerning themselves so much with a plot. Yesterday we worked out a swell scene that wasn’t even in the script. “And I play the dumb girl again,” remarked Carole, laughing. “Maybe there’s a reason for that.”
Interruption: Edith Head, studio designer, comes in with a batch of sketches for Miss Lombard to okay. (Delays, yes, but fascinating ones; fascinating to watch the blond star’s intent expression as she makes quick decisions and grants or refuses requests.)
“Money,” repeats Carole, suddenly getting back into the swing of things, “Well, it’s nice because it enables one to make the people around them more comfortable. Other than that it simply means that it’s possible for me to look forward to the day when I shall be able to retire on a comfortable income.”
Retire! Have we here a movie star who actually looks far ahead to visualize a time when she won’t be in pictures?
“You’re darn right,” stated Carole. “Not me. I don’t want to be any broken-hearted ‘has-been.’ As a matter of fact I doubt if I ever make another picture after this contract is up.”
Now Carole casually means what she says, yet one wonders how it’s possible for a girl – a popular celebrity used to applause – who has worked as hard for her success as Carole has, to give it up for a private life almost as ordinary as yours and mine.
“Of course,” she admitted, “I have a natural pride in achievement but,” she scoffed rather disdainfully, “what is there in being a movie star after all? It’s such a transitory business – certainly nothing for a person to lose his head over. Today you’re in, tomorrow you’re out. If you make a good picture, everybody thinks you’re swell. If you make a bad picture, everybody thinks you’re lousy.
“There are a few people here in Hollywood who will never be happy because being a star has become an obsession with them. Something in their emotional makeup demands the adulation, the attention and the rah-rah that goes along with being a star. I like it, but I know that I can be happy without it.
“And I can guarantee this,” she continued, “when I do step out of pictures I shall never be idle. I will take up designing or interior decorating. I have a fair flair for writing and I like to travel. Oh, I’ll be busy, all right, after I leave the movies.”
And so, as Carole talks you begin to realize that inside that blond head of hers is a sane philosophy and a sensible outlook – rather surprising in a girl who seems, putting it frankly, to be such a flighty madcap both on and off the screen.
“Oh,” explained Carole, “I affect that attitude purposely. I know – I shriek and cut up around the studio and the set. Sometimes I swear. There’s a reason. I do it to stimulate the atmosphere on the set. Long waits between scenes and the tiresome delays can be insidious, and unless you’re careful the mood behind the camera will turn up in your picture. I try to maintain a tempo by letting off steam.”
She does a good job of it, too. No one is ever bored on a Lombard set.
Among other things, Carole Lombard is known as the girl who “gets away with murder” – as the girl who gets exactly what she wants around the studio.
For herself, Carole says: “Yes, I suppose I do get away with murder – but I believe there is a good reason for it. When I fight it’s about something important, not about some little petty detail that doesn’t mean a damn thing. Most of my fights have been over stories, and those have been because I was honestly convinced that I wasn’t suited to the role.
“I never flatly refuse to make a picture. Knowing that I’m not just trying to be funny, the studio is usually willing to consider my opinion and let me out of it if possible.”
There are, by the way, only two things that Carole absolutely refuses to do when she goes to work. She will not have a director whom she doesn’t like and will not be interviewed by anyone whom she doesn’t wish to see.
And she’d rather not talk about Mr. Gable. You can’t blame her. She had rather an unfortunate experience. Someone misquoted her, very flagrantly according to Carole, and made it terribly embarrassing for both her and the gentleman. So Miss Lombard shut up like a clam, figuring that if she couldn’t be quoted correctly, she wouldn’t be quoted at all.
However, if you don’t bring Clark Gable into the conversation – Carole will. He sort of creeps in unawares. Somewhere along the line you’ll catch that “Clark and I,” “Clark and I.” It will be about what fun they had at the San Diego Fair or some picture they enjoyed at a little neighborhood theater.
Carole is also known as the town’s best practical joker. She says that she inherits it from her mother, who is a “genius at delightful nonsense.”
That Carole is still a gagster of the first order was discovered by Mr. Gable on Christmas Day. She sent east for a handsome buggy, a two-seater, which Clark can hitch up to his horse. Then she went out into the valley, to a horse farm, and bought him a $4 mule and a ton of hay to go with it.
Yes, the Gable-Lombard friendship is still going strong and Clark is Carole’s steady escort around town. At the moment there is apparently little possibility that the two will appear in another picture together.
They were, you remember, co-starred in a picture several years ago, before the present set-up. It was during its production that Clark received his first gag from Carole – an enormous ham with his photograph pasted on the front. Paramount made the picture, and it was titled, “No Man of Her Own.”
