BTS BOTW AU OMG WHAT??? pls share with the class immediately

LMFAODJFNKD it's honestly not even that interesting

back in 2019, i was writing for taegi week and the last day was a free day, and at the time i was still in my baby revalinker phase so i decided i wanted to write the most self-indulgent bts x botw au in which bts members took the places of botw characters. i actually had a tumblr post drafted to talk about this, but i guess we'll talk about it here now! in the case you are familiar with bts while also being a botw player, this could be of some interest to you.

i never actually got very far in writing it out (because i was 15 and school was beating my ass), but after reviewing the two unfinished drafts and the conceptual outlining style i do on every post, i remembered that i planned to rewrite the mount lanayru-calamity awakening memory with bts members as well as putting the revalink dynamic in there

please don't laugh i was 15 when i wrote this LMFAODJFKFJKD i don't plan on showing you what the unfinished drafts look like because like i said, i never got very far in writing them so there's nothing of interest to really note in either of those

as you can from the pic, i wrote V/taehyung as revali and SUGA/yoongi as link. looking back on it now, i probably would not have chosen yoongi as link and i should have written taehyung as link and yoongi as revali because that makes more sense regarding their personalities, but i guess 15-year-old me was really set on that dynamic. other characters included:

i'm going to assume most of my mutuals and followers are probably not familiar with bts, so i'll try to give you a quick rundown!

V (or kim taehyung) is one of the group's vocalists and is one of my biases, or favorite member :> he's been my bias since 2018 when i became a bts fan! (the other one is jungkook he's the one in my pfp KJDHFHJKD) he has this show recently called 'jinny's kitchen' but i haven't watched it yet because i've been busy with school 😭 but from the clips i've seen that shit is funnyyy. SUGA (or min yoongi) is one of the rappers and he's coming out with a new album called 'D-DAY' soon + just released a song called 'people pt 2' ft. iu! the first part of 'people' on his last album was a fawking banger.

revalink had to be taehyung and yoongi because this au was originally intended to be uploaded for taehyung and yoongi (taegi)'s ship week. i definitely didn't place them as revali and link correctly, but i think know why i made it that way? there used to be this huge stereotype against yoongi that he was really mean and cold-hearted, and i was and always have been against that stereotype because bro really isn't like that. he's a soft sweet and sensitive tangerine boy fr! and making yoongi as revali wouldn't help that cause so i did what had to be done. i do think that taehyung still a relatively good fit for revali though; they be dramatic gays fr

RM (or kim namjoon) is the leader of bts, one of the rappers, and is a really smart guy. bro has an IQ of 148 and was also once one of the top 1% of students in south korea. so naturally, i made him zelda, the figurehead of the champions and the representation of the triforce of wisdom. but i was thinking about this connection more the other day when i first was writing out the post to talk about this, and i think namjoon and botw zelda actually have quite a few parallels. if anyone is interested in hearing more, please send an ask or a dm or something because i don't wanna make this post longer 😭

jimin is one of the group's vocalists and is also an incredible dancer. he had a solo debut recently with the album 'face' and title track 'like crazy' which you guys should all check out! :) but the reason why i put jimin as mipha is because he studied contemporary dance in high school and his personal style of dance tends to be very fluid and graceful, and like. do y'all see the connection lmao. mipha, being a zora in a watery domain? thus also being very fluid and graceful in her movements? TEEHEE

jungkook is the youngest member of the group another one of the vocalists and dancers, is my boyfriend and is Thee Golden Boy of K-pop and also the world. sidon being a baby pre-calamity and also everyone in general both in-game and online being obsessed with how boyfriend sidon is, as well as how polite and goofy jungkook is... i think the connection between jungkook and sidon is very clearly there LOL i also just didn't know how to include him in the story because i felt that jungkook just didn't fit into the personality of the other champions. if i had the chance to rewrite this au, i would have had jungkook as link because jungkook is so Main Character Vibes, and then taekook (taehyung and jungkook) would literally be revalink

back then, i remember having a difficult time trying to place who would be daruk and urbosa, but i think i made the right call with hoseok and jin. j-hope (or jung hoseok) is one of bts's rappers and is known as the sunshine of the group because he's just so energetic and positive, and i think that definitely matches with daruk's jovial and encouraging disposition. jin (kim seokjin) is one of the vocalists and is the eldest in the group, and as the kind of like "older brother" figure, he takes care of everyone in the group in a way that's different from how namjoon is as the leader y'know? i think urbosa fills that role for the champions because i personally think she might be the oldest of the group (daruk gives man in his 50s lowkey so i'm like hmmm) and takes care of them in a way that isn't the same as leading.

as for king rhoam bosphoramus hyrule... bang pd (or producer bang sihyuk) is the founder of the company bts is under and is the chairman of the label that bts eventually created. he is, in that sense, the "guy who made bts." he kind of has this fatherly relationship to the rest of bts, but that's where the similarities between him and king rhoam end LOL because rhoam is kind of an asshole who puts too much pressure on zelda and assembles the champions as his own tools to save the country, while bang pd is just this super chill guy who unlike other kpop ceos tends to stay out of the limelight and really just has a passion for making good music. but i thought it would be funny to emphasize a fatherly relationship between namjoon and bang pd KDJHFDKF

there's so many implied dynamics that could go here between the bts members as champions. like for one, taehyung and jimin are regarded as soulmate-besties in the bts fandom, so the implication that revali (taehyung) and mipha (jimin) are soulmate-besties is Feeding tf out of my brainworms like hell yeah. daruk and urbosa shenanigans are gonna line up perfectly with hoseok and jin's dynamic. NAMJOON (zelda) HAVING FEELINGS FOR YOONGI (link)? also lines up, these hoes have been living together for 10+ years and namjoon was practically proposing to yoongi in that one 'respect' performance.

ok so I've been thinking of a BOTW au (if it isn't obvious I'm the BOTW anon) where Steven is Princess (Prince???) Zelda, with Connie as his loyal assigned knight, and Calamity Ganon as Kaiju!Steven/the corruption. the monsters are corrupted gems and the Hylians are humans, and I've been trying to figure out who the other races/champions should be, and i think i got it. i decided that the Champions are the Diamonds and the races are their courts [1.]

YD is Urbosa with her court as the Gerudo, BD is Mipha with her court as the Zora, WD as Revali with her court as the Rito (this one didn't really fit but the other ones do so :/), and PD as Daruk with her court as the Gorons. I've also thought about the goddess Hylia being Rose and the Sheikah being the Crystal Gems. [2.]

the reason i chose Daruk instead of Mipha as PD is because of his shield, though Mipha also fits because she heals, but where would that put BD? the closest race she fits with is the Zora because they, again, are aquatic, and BD has some form of water powers. YD was the easiest because Urbosa's power was electricity. WD i had the most trouble with because she just didn't fit with any of them, and the Rito were the only ones left [3.]

oh yeah Lion's in there too, he's probably a horse or something. maybe he's a nice Lynel, because they can teleport (sometimes) and are also lion themed? idk there aren't any nice Lynels in the game, they all try to kill you and you can't tame them so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ [4.]

srry for spamming you i swear I'm almost done. also i forgot the Guardians so maybe they're like, gem tech or something. and i think that the Malice should be Corruption, and Steven tries to contain it inside Hyrule Castle until Connie can use her Special Sword (idk what it would be called, would it still be the Master Sword?) to defeat it with the help of the Divine Beasts (the Diamond Ships). [5.]

Steven puts Connie in stasis for 100 years so she can recover, but in doing so she loses her memories and has to regain them through the people and places she visits in her adventure. the Corruption uses Steven as a vessel and turns him into Kaiju, like in the final boss battle with Calamity Ganon. once it's defeated by Connie, Steven is freed, and bubbles it, locking it away for good. the end [7.]

Anyways here Cleaner angst , Tw's for gore , death and violence

Cold, it was always just a bit too cold in David's office. Cleaner didn't know how David could stand to be in short sleeves, working in the room as if the cold wasn't trying to bite him. Cautiously he looked up to David, tired sunken eyes meeting with David's equally tired but firm gaze.

Cleaner goes to speak but hesitates, David hates it when he hesitates. He can feel David's gaze sharpen, as he takes a breath. "David? Can.. Can we let it go?" Of course he was talking about the twenty foot long creature down in the basement labs, one of the creatures that was the closest thing he could come close to considering a friend.

"Cleaner." David seemed to hiss out the name with disappointment or something similar. Has it been that long since he's politely asked David to call him the name Crisis offered? "That's a shit idea. It could kill you. You don't know what it does or what it's capable of!"

But Cleaner does, he does know what it's capable of. It's capable of kindness, just as much as it's capable of injury, though he's pretty sure it only happened because it was hungry and scared. It hasn't seemed hostile since he started sharing his lunch with it. "David-" Cleaner paused considering his words, he knows David tended to be fickle and finite with his words. Tugging his sleeves down and hugging his arms closer to himself to try and alleviate the cold chill he spoke up again "- can we just give it space to roam at least? The containment room we keep it in is cramped, they won't cooperate if we can't meet their needs. Or maybe we could let them go?"

David glares, setting his pen down and sighing "I'll work something out. Just- go. Take care of it for the night and then go to bed yourself, okay?"

Being dismissed from the room Cleaner quickly moved to leave, David would probably come get him after his shift was over and all of his paperwork was done so they could go home. He stopped by the storage closet, grabbing his cart of things , cleaning supplies, mop water , tools and more importantly lunch for everyone. Dragging the cart to the elevator he smiled humming. Entering the elevator he cautiously pulled out his phone smiling at the lock screen picture of himself, Crisis, and Stray. A cherished memory along with the several pictures he'd asked Crisis to take of him and the several other critters here.

Pocketing his phone and Leaving the elevator he pushes the cart in front of him , starting the tedious process of cleaning up behind his brother. Blood stains litter the floor along with various other liquids, furs, and scales. Though that's easy cleaning, he's used to this and he can take it section by section with a total of eight making up the whole area.

Starting and working thoroughly he sweeps, mops, scrubs every bit of repetitive motion feeling ljekan good thing. About two sections in he hears a familiar gurgled groan. So he stops, pulling off a pair of larger yellow gloves and reaching under that cart for a bagged sandwich , he checks for a moment nodding as he confirms it was one of the bigger ones. Carefully he opens the door to the containment room.

"Alan? I brought food?" He calls out into the space, holding out the sandwich. There's an audible splash and thud as he looks to see the surprisingly amphibious eight foot tall rock creature(?)(He's still not sure what exactly Alan is.). Alan observes him taking the sandwich but not before drenching Cleaner in water then allowing him to leave. He smiled to himself. "Thank you Alan, I'll see you tomorrow !"

He calls out, sighing as he continues cleaning until he gets to Cantrips section. Once again he forgoes his cleaning attire once again, reaching for another sandwich. Opening Cantrips containment cell he frowns, it's cold, it's not meant to be cold. "Cantrip?" He calls out entering the room further "Cantrip?" Something doesn't feel right, something's wrong. He hesitates, she's never allowed him further than the light of the door, but she's usually at least semi social with him. Setting the sandwich down, he pulls out his phone turning on the flashlight.

He pauses, looking at her, this larger almost tiger sized fox creature, alien to him before but a friend recently. The bright purple flames he's used to now graying and cold like ash, she looks tired, far too tired. So he pockets his phone again and picks up the sandwich, opens the bag and sets it beside her, he hopes she turns out okay.

Closing the door with a quiet good night he continues to do his job until he stops at Xavier's enclosure. The quiet repetition of the task; Cleaning, stopping at each new section, pulling off his gloves grabbing the food and making his way in the enclosure was nice.

Pausing just inside he called out to Xavier's not seeing him immediately had him a little worried especially with the state Cantrip was in. Xavier's in room was cold. Not that stabbing cold that David's Office had, but it was enough to make him pull his jacket closed a little tighter.

In a rather sudden motion he's pulled upward from where he was standing with a yelp, looking up to see Xavier this odd four armed scaled bat creature he waved, Xavier was one of the few he'd gotten to speak , he's not the best at it but it's conversation none the less. This hissed laugh left Xavier as he set Cleaner down the same kind of hissed lips following as he spoke."Surprise!"

Cleaner smiled glancing down at the ground then back up to Xavier. "Hi, can you put me down so I can give you lunch ? I'll be back after I finish okay!"

Xavier nods and cautiously he drops from the ceiling of the room setting Cleaner on the ground holding his hands out for the gift of food. Which Cleaner easily hands over. Xavier grins looking at him with a smile, then a brief frown "Summers gone, labs took 'er "

Cleaner frowns and nods "Thanks Xavier, like I said I'll be back later okay?" With that he leaves moving to continue his cleaning. He briefly stops at Summers enclosure simply to check and leave her lunch there. He hoped to see her back here tomorrow but he leaves the sandwich there for her.

Moving further he gets to Stray's enclosure same story, though with Stray he actually makes quiet conversation and sits eating is own lunch there. Deciding not to stay all too long as he did promise Xavier he'd come back, not to mention he also wanted to check on Summer and Cantrip. He backed out of the enclosure slowly through as he reached the door Stray stood, growling and stalking forward.

"Stray.. hey, what did I do? Are you still hungry?" He frowns, it's been a while since Strays growled at him like this. He doesn't know why they're angry, or upset with him , they're usually communicative and if they kept approaching he'd be with his back to the door in a couple seconds.

It almost feels like things happened too quickly, something cold against the back of their head, a click, the brief sight of Stray going to lunge, and an awful ringing noise in their ears before it all faded out. And suddenly hes in David's medical office with a splitting headache and rigging in his ears.

He cups his hands over his ears and presses trying desperately to get rid of the tinnitus as he blinks away tears. David sits in front of him covered blood and mild gore staining his work clothes, a diagonal clawing that doesn't look like it reaches too deep.

David waits till the ringing stops or at least until Cleaner can acknowledge him. "You okay?" He starts tilting his head and looking over Cleaner who gives him a thumbs up. "The new one-"

"Stray.. their name is Stray"

David makes an audibly annoyed sigh before picking back up. "- Stray, attacked you , you died. It almost didn't let me pull you out." He gestures to his own injuries. " This is why we can't let them out and why they're in the spaces they're in, so you need to stop getting friendly with them. You're not their friend, you are an enemy or prey to them."

Cleaner frowned, he was sure he was getting better with Stray, but he couldn't quite place it outside of the fact she thing was wrong, he had something he wanted to do didn't he? Maybe he'd figure it out by tomorrow he should go home and actually rest .

So uh- Crisis after a non descript little Guy au adventure , it's all silly , there are mentions of surgery but no gore! Have fun under the cut ↓

Crisis felt exhausted. Physically exhausted to be specific. Getting back to the lab she found herself collapsing into a familiar wheeled chair. She had plenty of notes on many people. The kids were most important along with Dr. Cross. When she had gotten there all of the children seemed fine outside of obvious things. Opening her notebook she sighs observing all the notes she'd taken of the universe.

Little William, or Sprite as Crisis has personally taken to calling him, was missing an eye and seemed to have scarring indicating he'd been bisected vertically. She simply didn't press any further than that, opting to give the kid a piggyback ride and talk about what she knew of ghosts and spirits upon his request.

Next was Little Dakota who she’d taken to calling Spark, held similar powers to Safeguard different injuries and an avoidance when taking about what happened just that he doesn't like doctors. After questioning he'd dragged Spark and herself off to meet the rest of their friends. Crisis notes that he does seem to have some form or separation anxiety and prefers not to get to far from any of the others unless necessary.

Little Virion Vyncent which she'd taken to calling trainee was excitable and very eager to grab at her magic items. Ultimately puppy dog eyes got to her and Crisis did end up parting with a particularly shiny bracelet that she seemed har little magical value.

Trick and little Ashe,the latter now noted as Fledgling ( she's not the best at names ) were Interesting in their own rights, Fledglings abilities that are sure to grow with the more they learn are already sharp and they don't show any prowess for magic yet. Trick on the other hand has both skills and magic, testing her own magic with Trick’s was left with failure and both of them out of commission for at least an hour with what the kids described as red lightning dancing over both of them . Crisis did not fail to mention she's still seeing sparks over the matter even after trying home, she hopes Trick is okay.

Crisis got pictures with them of course but also made the effort to sketch all of them down. She'd certainly have to come back to do further exploration, but she ached after the magic test and she had wanted to go home to Safeguard, her Tide, and her Father ( both of which she still hasn't come up with names for.). Bidding the kids a goodbye and meanderings through a portal of her own making.

Closing her notes she sat up bones aching and her thoughts collected, Crisis could share the information with Professor Cross later. Grabbing her things and moving from the lab to the lobby. Taking out her phone she checks for a text before calling Safeguard. Per usual he picked up at the first ring a chipper tone on his voice.

“Cici! I'm almost done and Tide said he'd be here soon, are you heading out again or are we all heading home together?”

“Safety straps! Hey, yeah. I'm in the lobby. I'll wait.”

She sighed letting safeguard ramble on about his day for a bit before he mentioned he'd be in the lobby soon. When he did join her in the lobby she was met with a tight hug from behind.

“Tide’s here so we can go home unless you're going to do anything.”

“Magics fucked. I need you, some music, and a good dinner. Maybe a nap too. Regardless we're listening to music in the car, I've got a new playlist from the universe I was in. Lot of the songs are kid-friendly though”

“Sounds good, but I do have a surprise for you!”

Glancing back at Safeguard, Crisis raised an eyebrow humming as they walked out to Tides car. Safeguard briefly ran a head, grinning as he opened the door and pulled out a familiar and excited mass of fur.

“Bobo’s back!”
