I just can't see Wednesday in a relationship. Or being able to be the partner Enid needs.
Hey anon!
That's obviously a very valid opinion and I think the first part is something that is a fairly popular opinion.
Personally, I think to show Wednesday in a relationship they have to do it in a very particular way. Which is where I think they failed in s1. I hated the way both her canon love interests were the ones that had feelings for her first. I think often in media when a female is the main character there is a tendency to have every character fall for her and I just don't think it works for a character like Wednesday. But more importantly for a character like Wednesday it almost makes it seem like the only reason she's giving those people a chance is because they wore her down. I think if you're going to have Wednesday Addams fall in love than let her fall first. Build a solid friendship with someone (Enid) and then have her have an 'oh no' moment where she realises she does actually have feelings for someone.
I think the writers would also have to make sure the romantic elements to the relationship didn't overshadow the individual characters. They might be teenagers but for it to work for Wednesday you can't have them just making out every episode.
I think she could only really be with someone who she didn't feel was judging her (Enid) and who she could easily be vulnerable with (again Enid). Wednesday has a certain single mindedness that would make a steady relationship hard, though I do think it also shows if she really wanted a relationship she would be devoted to them.
As for being the partner Enid would need, I have to say I disagree with you that she couldn't be that. Because I think the show actually demonstrates that they're both who the other need. Enid softens Wednesday. Not too much but just enough. Wednesday allows Enid to be authentically her own person without caring as much about what others think. Would Enid sometimes hate Wednesday focusing on whatever she's investigating more than their dates? Probably. Though I do think if Wednesday was able to make Enid feel loved and accepted she would be fine not being together 24/7. We also saw they both were able to make compromises for each other and I think that would only grow if they were romantically involved.
Ultimately if it were up to me with the writers we have on this show, I kind of don't want them to show Wednesday in a relationship at all. I think they would struggle to do it right. I would build the romance up slowly and then only have her actually get together with someone (Enid) in the last episode or second last episode. Then it's up to fanfic and fanart to take it from there.

“HEAT WEEK”
(Warnings - Aged up characters to 18, Werewolf heats, threesome, Dom Wednesday, GIP switch Enid, breeding, penetration, p n v, anal, love confessions, soft to rough sex, strapons)
The last thing you expected today was to have your door knocked on while you were studying, plus it was a Saturday, there were no classes and you didn’t really have any friends, you were more of a loner that people liked.
Getting up from your bed with a look of slight confusion on your face as you walked to the door and opened it you were more than surprised at a slightly disheveled looking Wednesday, which was shocking because Wednesday always looked perfect, but now she seemed… nervous Mabye?
“Y/N, I need to talk to you.” She spoke with the same monotonous voice she usually does, only it was hinted with a haste.
You just raised a brow, opening the door for her to come in, “Okay?” you drew out your words to try to emphasize your confusion as Wednesday walked past you without a glance before stopping in the middle of your room to speak, “Do you know what season it is?”
Her question stunted you mentally, it was so random so you just answered, “Fall?”
She just scoffed and rolled her eyes, “Yes, it’s fall but also it’s mating season for the werecreatures.”
Your eyes widened in acknowledgment before your let out a auditable, “Ohhh…” before speaking again with a sorry smile, “You struggling with Enid?”
Wednesday frowned immediately, crossing her arms in defense, “Absolutely not, I can take care of my lover perfectly fine, exceptionally actually… which is why I came here.” She nodded with a sigh before looking up at you.
You were even more confused now, “What do I have to do with your love life?”
“Y/N, are you really so dumb?” Wednesday sighed out in annoyance as she rubbed the bridge of her nose, she wasn’t good with acts of affection or confessions so she just said it how it was, “Both me and Enid want you to come to our dorm to have a threesome and possibly explore a relationship after that.”
You froze, Jesus Christ that was blunt. But that’s what Wednesday was if anything, blunt and well- honest to you at least. It came as a shock, both Enid and Wednesday did treat you well when you came across them, you just didn’t leave your room much or speak with anyone, but you didn’t know they liked you. Mabye you should have learned from the heart eyes from Enid and the gifts from Wednesday at your doorstep every Friday.
“You like me?”
Wednesday just nodded and stepped forward to gently take your hand in hers, “Yes, okay? I do, is it that hard for your thick skull to comprehend that someone could like you?”
You swallowed at the closeness and her words, blushing at how close she was now, looking up at you, her lips inches from here as she stared at your lips before leaning in and pressing her lips against yours.
You kissed her back tenderly before pulling away slightly with a blush, speaking so soft, “Thank you.”
Wednesday just smirked, “Don’t thank me yet, come on, Enid’s gonna break out of those ropes and come find us herself if I take too long.” Wednesday spoke out before pulling you out of your dorm room and practically dragging you to hers.
As soon as you got in the door the first thing you say was Enid naked on her side of her room that was decorated with adorable items and colors, she was tied with her hands up against her headboard, her chest heaving, her body sweaty, and her cock painfully hard, her hips bucking with need as she whined through a muzzle Wednesday must have put on her.
“You put a muzzle on her?” You look at Wednesday who shrugged, “She’s a biter when she’s in heat, so unless you want her teeth sinking into you, the muzzle stays on.” She spoke firmly making Enid whine pathetically from the bed, your eyes flickering to hers. As soon as you met her eyes your expression softened, “It’s okay, Enid, I’m right here.” You spoke through your mind, that was your powers, telepathy, and other things being a witch entailed.
“Take your clothes off.” Wednesday interrupted your thoughts with her order, making you jump before blushing as you nodded timidly, hesitating enough for both Enid and Wednesday to notice, surprisingly enough as you were distracted Wednesday must have untied and unmuzzled Enid because the next thing you knew gentle hands went over yours that were clinging to your shirt.
“Y/N, if you don’t wanna do this I understand.” Enid spoke so gently as she took your hands in hers with a soft smile, she was still sweating and panting with need, clearly uncomfortable, and yet all she cared was your comfort.
You shook your head, “N-No, it’s not that, I just- I don’t really like the way my body looks.” You admitted shamefully, it was your deepest secret, you struggled with a eating disorder and bad body image issues your whole life, making you either binge or starve, so sometimes you were curvier and other times you were thinner, you were kinda in the middle right now but it still made you feel self conscious.
“Y/N, your beautiful, how can you even think stuff like that!” Enid looked so shocked, even Wednesdays eyes widened from where she stood behind her. Wednesday was extremely hard to read but now that she just heard you practically say you hated yourself, it only made her love for you grow as she stepped forward, “Cara Mia, you are one of the most beautiful women I have come across and I mean that in many ways, you are genuine, authentic, you don’t care what others think of you, you are always trying your best, and your body… Cara Mia, if you hate it, I adore it.”
Your eyes watered a little bit at both of them, you thought you were just coming here to fuck, but no, their actually saying sweet things enough to make you almost cry, wiping your eyes before Enid took your hands to pull them down and kissed both of your cheeks, “Your so pretty, Y/N, will you let us show you how pretty we think you are?” She asked with a adorable little smile.
With both of their reassurance, especially Wednesday’s you felt better about about letting them both undress you, Wednesday’s gentle pull of your shirt above your head while Enid Kneeled down to take off your bottoms, sliding the fabric down your thighs while practically drooling with the need she felt for you but she knew she had to look up at Wednesday for permission, “Wednesday please, can I?” Enid pleaded.
Wednesday just rolled her eyes with a nod at Enid’s eagerness before Enid was burying her face between your thighs, making you gasp as she darted out her tongue in a long lick through your wet folds, making you shutter, but Wednesday held you up. You could only moan and thread your fingers into Enid’s hair while she worked her tongue back and forth against your clit, “Fuckkk, Enid- I-Oh my god…” You whimpered out, making Wednesday smirk, husking out as she looked down at Enid, “Yeah, good at using that tongue isn’t she? Like a mutt.”
You shuttered at the whiney moan Enid let out against your clit at a Wednesday’s degradation, watching as Wednesday pushed Enid closer to your cunt when she saw you start to shake, practically barking orders at Enid, “Don’t you dare fucking stop until she comes or you won’t be tonight at all.”
Enid whimpered at the thought of not being able to cum, her tongue definitely worked quicker, her cock throbbing painfully, leaking pre-cum all over the floor as she ate you out with vigor, making you shake before you were tensing with a loud cry at the rough feeling of Enid’s tongue dragging back and forth over your clit before she sucked, making your eyes roll back with a moan as you came, and Enid licked up every drop.
“That’s it mutt, clean up her mess, good girl.” Wednesday muttered before shoving Enid away from you, barking an order to get back on the bed as she snapped, making Enid whimper and obey immediately before Wednesday turned your head, her eyes softer as she glanced at your lips and kissed you before pulling back, “You ready for more, sweet girl?”
God… you were getting whiplash at Wednesdays mood swings, just nodding dumbly as you leant your head back on her shoulder. She guided you over to the bed, making sit back against her bare chest with her sitting behind you, arms wrapped around your waist as she kissed your shoulder and explored your skin, squeezing your breasts, stroking your hips, rubbing your stomach before sliding her hand down further to touch your clit, making you gasp from the sensitivity, but she soothed you with a kiss to the shoulder, “Shhh… Cara Mia, let me have my turn.”
You whined when you felt Wednesday’s fingers dip down to your entrance, you were wet, but most of all sensitive, moaning as she pushed a finger and then two inside you, working them at a steady pace, jerking her hand with her palm rubbing your clit, fingers curling repeatedly against that sweet spot deep inside you… gods… she played you like she played her violin, and you were singing all the right cords, your orgasm building quick until it slammed into you harder than the last, crying out as you arched and shook, Wednesday’s moan sounding out in your ear as she felt you clench around her fingers and soak them with your cum, a smirk on her face as she praised you, “Good girl…”
You were a trembling mess when she slowly pulled her fingers out, you didn’t know if you could take more, but you knew more was coming when Enid scooted up, leaning over you to kiss you deep and tender before pulling back with a soft anxious voice, “Tell us if your uncomfortable, okay?” You just nodded with a soft shaky sigh, looking down to see Enid’s cock looking painfully hard, dripping pre-cum, speaking out softly, “It’s okay, I-I want you, i-I want you both.”
The smile that grew on both of their faces made your heart melt, Enid looked at Wednesday once again for permission which she responded by nodding and kissing your shoulder, mumbling out, “Fuck her good babygirl, make her cry for us.” The tone in which Wednesday husked that out made a shiver go down your spine before you were caught off guard by Enid sliding her tip against your slit, making you jerk with a gasp before Wednesday’s pulled you back more firmly against her, “Don’t squirm, Cara Mia, just focus on the pleasure.”
You nodded before closing your eyes to focus on the feeling of Enid’s cock slowly stretching your hole, groaning out a moan of pleasure as she started to push in slowly, Enid’s sweet whiney moan sounding out as she whimpered at your heat, pumping her hips with quick breaths, biting her lip as she shuttered, “Oh God… Oh my God! Wednesday, she feels so good, oh fuck..” Enid sounded like she was about to cry, you stroked her back and that made her shiver with a growl of pleasure as she shoved in deeper, her cock filling you up, every inch stretching your tight cunt around her before she started a punishing pace.
You whimpered and whined as you held onto Wednesdays hand while Enid pounded into you, her hands on your hips to keep you pinned down as she slammed her cock into you at a ravishing pace, the stretch around her thick cock, the fullness, the feeling of her grazing against your gspot every time she thrusted, it was building you up quick, your moans getting lower and more primal along with Enid’s growls made Wednesday moan as she slipped her hand down to rub her own clit, her eyes locked on you two as Enid fucked you ruthlessly.
It was clear all three of you were getting close by the sounds of your moans, you saw Enid struggle her page getting sloppy before she pleaded out, “Wednesday, please, please can I cum in her, please!” The sound of her begging to cum in you made you groan out, the thought of feeling her seed squirt and fill inside you made you cry out and cum on the spot, which in return made Enid cry out in surprise as she thrusted in deep, cum shooting inside you faster than Enid could squeal as Wednesday moaned out shakily at the sight and sounds, all three of you finishing together, trembling, panting, whining, whimpering, or moaning…
It took a few minutes for things to calm before Wednesday spoke out in monotone, “Enid, did you just cum without my permission?” The silence was deafening, Enid’s face pressed against your breasts as you felt her tremble and whimper out, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it.” Wednesday just scoffed before sitting up, getting up to slap Enid on the ass which made her Yelp and buck into you again, making you whine from the fullness already, you we’re already spilling cum out around Enid’s cock all over the sheets.
“Stay.” Wednesday ordered Enid as she got up, you watched her walk over to the dresser with soft moans as Enid grinded against you to continue your pleasure, Wednesday pulling out a thick strapon with a bottle of lube which only made Enid whine, “Wednesday please…”
“Shut up.” Wednesday barked as she strapped it on and walked back over slowly, settling behind Enid while she was still inside you before you noticed this whole time Enid had been wearing a buttplug, listening to Enid whimper and feeling her shiver and twitch inside you with a groan as Wednesday pulled it out of her to replace with the tip of her lubed up cock, her voice dark, “Your gonna keep fucking our precious girl while I…”
Wednesday rubbed her hand over Enid’s soft ass, slapping it harshly which made Enid Yelp louder before she cried as Wednesday shoved her cock in her ass. Enid clung to you like a lifeline, whimpering as she started to thrust so she had to meet Wednesday as she fucked into Enid, making her cry, “Wednesday…” She laughed at Enid’s crying before kissing her back and thrusting harder which made Enid lurch as you felt her cock twitch inside you as she screamed, cumming again so hard inside you, feeling her cum fill you until you were achingly full, Wednesday ramming her hips into Enid’s ass as she came before moaning herself at the sight, her voice breathless… “Fuck, we’re doing this more often.”

🚨 Everything we know about Wednesday season 2 (possible spoilers and trigger warnings for violence — don't read this if you don't wanna know anything about season 2. Also, remember that none of this is confirmed yet, everything is from a leaker supposedly working on the set)
1- Xavier left school so his character is completely forgotten
2- Enid is craving affection and attention a lot
3- Enid's scars healed (I'm so sad about that... bye bye our hopes of Wednesday comforting her about it)
4- Enid's hair is a bit shorter, closer to Emma's real haircut. It's still blond. They also talked about giving her a black streak, but they didn't do it. They will possibly add it next season
5- Ajax broke up with Enid because she kept missing their dates and wasn't really involved in their relationship
6- Ajax disappears through the season but is found at the end
7- Enid has a new boyfriend, Maxim (played by Owen Painter)
8- Maxim is predicted to be loved by the fans
9- Maxim is abusive towards Enid (he grabs her a lot and leaves bruises)
10- Wednesday hates Maxim from the start
11- Wednesday is really protective of Enid during this season
12- Enid breaks up with Maxim in episode 4 (I suppose, as it says mid-season) and it doesn't go well (he's really mad and they almost physically fight. Enid uses her claws)
13- After the break up, Maxim becomes very obsessive
14- Wednesday initiates a hug after Enid comes back to the dorm after the break up
15- Enid and Wednesday will investigate together in every episodes except the first one
16- Maxim takes over the Nightshades and kick Bianca out. His father is said to have old views (I guess similar to Crackstone)
17- Bianca will have a lot of scenes. So does Thing
18- Tyler is back and will work with Wednesday. He's not the villain of this season
19- Tyler has a lot of scenes with Bianca's mom
20- Wednesday, Enid, Morticia, Maxim and Barry (Maxim's father and Nevermore's new principal) have the most screentime
21- Enid meets the Addams and Morticia thinks her relationship with Wednesday is stupendous
22- Enid's relationship with her mom changes a lot (good or bad, we don't know)
23- There will be a camping episode taking place at Camp Jericho, where Enid and Wednesday will share a tent
24- There will be a musical number
25- Christopher Lloyd (original movie Uncle Fester) will come back as, apparently, a music teacher
26- Enid will have a major fight against around 5 creatures
27- One of Enid's fight is to protect Wednesday (who is immobilised during the scene)
28- Wenclair share another hug at the end of the season
29- Enid and Wednesday are very close friends at the end of the season. Wenclair is not comfirmed yet for season 3 but they said it's still possible
30- Jenna is producer this season, so everything that happens between Wednesday and Enid has gone through her. She and Emma are most likely the ones to decide if Wenclair will happen or no. Considering they both said in an interview that they would be good together, that the whole cast ships them and that so much fans does too, we are on the right track!
All of this is not officially confirmed. A leaker working on the set posted all this on Reddit in June (from what I understood). Recently, bts pics of Camp Jericho has been shared, confirming what the leaker said about it. So all of this is most likely true, but again, nothing comfirmed.
I really hope it is true, because holy shit, the plot is INSANE. I literally told my best friend I needed a camping scene in season 2 and more drama... well, there we are 🤌🏻 All this informations I have shared are from the leaker (the post has been deleted on Reddit but you can find some screenshots on @zstronz78's Twitter account)
What are you theories and thoughts about it?

Nighttime could be hellish.
It was probably why Wednesday adored it so much.
You loved it too. There was something divine about the nighttime. People feared the dark, but you saw it as an opportunity to rest your weary eyes and bones. The night gave way to being invisible, and there were some days when that was all you could bear to be.
But to Wednesday Addams, who loved the dark, you could never be invisible to her.
It was a blessing and a curse.
To be seen by Wednesday—it was something more than many people could ever hope for.
But to be seen when you wanted to be invisible? It was like being dragged without anything to hold onto.
Nighttime was hellish, and you wanted to disappear into the dark as your nightmares plagued you until you couldn't even tell what was the dream and what was the reality.
But Wednesday Addams saw you.

You've missed Enid's late-night studying session again. It's the second week in a row that Enid's gotten a text from you two minutes before the session started.
"I guess we can start," Enid told the group with a disappointed smile. "She's not coming today either."
"Fuck," Xavier sighed. "She's the only one who's good at art restoration. I was hoping she'd help me with my assignment."
Wednesday's face scrunched together mildly, and Xavier rolled his eyes. "Except for you, Wednesday. But you hate teaching me and I hate learning from you."
"I can't help it if you're stupid," Wednesday dully replied.
"Not all of us can do it perfectly after being told what to do—told only once might I add," Xavier raised his brow at her.
Wednesday shrugged, which only seemed to irk Xavier more and to prevent them from bickering further, Yoko turned to Enid and asked, "Why isn't she coming?"
Enid shrugged, her lips quirked to the side as they pressed together. "She texted to say she wasn't feeling well and couldn't make it."
"She does seem tired lately," Bianca commented, her expression in deep thought as she recalled the last two weeks when she saw you. "Also, really quiet. Well, quieter than she normally is."
There were murmurs of agreement around while Wednesday sat silently. Of course, she also noticed, but she was waiting for you to say something to her. You always told her whatever was plaguing you, even when Wednesday told you she didn't ask. Wednesday was used to hearing your mundane thoughts or solving your problems.
But there was nothing this time, and Wednesday couldn't figure it out. She tried to think back to see if anything had changed—if something had happened, but there was nothing.
Two weeks of leaving you be was enough, though, Wednesday decided as she packed her things into her bag.
"What! Wednesday, are you leaving too?" Enid groaned. "But I need help with botanical sciences!"
"Ask Bianca," Wednesday didn't even look up.
Enid looked at the siren, who had a deceitful, happy smile.
"I'd be happy to help you, Sinclair. Let's talk The Poe Cup negotiations first."
"Absolutely not!" Enid scoffed before turning back to Wednesday with pleading eyes. "Wednesday..." she whined.
"Ask Xavier," Wednesday didn't budge.
"But all he does is draw in class. There's no way he's doing well."
"I'll have you know I'm getting a C," Xavier looked affronted.
Enid merely stared at the sullen boy for a long moment before she turned back to Wednesday. "I'll just wait for you tomorrow after school."
Xavier was about to say something else when Wednesday briskly nodded, standing up and leaving the group behind without another word.
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
It was completely silent on the other side of your door, and from its looks, it was dark as no lights were shining underneath it.
Wednesday knocked in three successions.
There was no answer.
If it were anyone else, they would've believed you weren't there and left, but not Wednesday.
No, she knew you far too well.
This was a place where you could truly be invisible with no roommate.
Wednesday knocked insistently until she heard shuffling, an agitated huff, and footsteps approaching the door.
The door only opened marginally. You looked mildly surprised to see her, but Wednesday supposed you had too little energy to manage anything more.
There were dark circles under your eyes, and they looked puffy and slightly red around the edges from lack of sleep. Your skin was pallor, which suited someone like Wednesday, but she decided it was not on you. Your hair lacked its usual shine, and Wednesday's eyes narrowed as she finished scrutinizing you.
"What are you doing here?" You asked quietly.
"Are you going to just let me stand out here?"
"I'm not in the mood for company, Wednesday," you blinked slowly.
It was new.
You were usually happy for Wednesday's company whenever she stopped by, and you often visited her dorm.
"I have had enough of this," Wednesday glared at you through the gap in the door. "You will let me in."
"And if I don't?" You challenged back, and Wednesday almost wanted to applaud the snippy attitude you've mustered through the tiredness.
"Then I will wait out here and ensure you don't get a. Single. Wink. Of. Sleep." It was a threat that tugged at your nerves. You looked at Wednesday, and for a brief moment, she thought she won before you shut the door in her face.
Disbelief clouded over Wednesday's eyes.
Then, Wednesday began to knock incessantly over and over on your door. Her knuckles knock with a vengeance, and she'll be damned if you think she doesn't take absolute joy in torturing you.
It worked because you open the door wider this time, as you stare at Wednesday with a glare.
"What part of 'I'm not in the mood for company' was unclear, Wednesday?" Your voice was gruff, and Wednesday could tell that you were still trying to not snap at her despite how tired you were.
And that in itself was everything. It was like that all the time.
You were always trying to be considerate of whatever feelings you thought Wednesday might have while gently pushing her to admit which ones she was truly feeling.
Maybe that was why Wednesday could never leave you alone now.
You were a gateway to things Wednesday never wanted, and she genuinely thought you should pay for making her desire things she swore she'd never want.
"Say you don't want my company then," Wednesday said haughtily.
Wednesday knew you wouldn't—couldn't, even. You never would.
Just as you were her exception, she was yours.
You pursed your lip at her, starting to close the door swiftly, and Wednesday stuck her foot partially into your room, preventing you from shutting the door in her face again.
"Wednesday!" You called her name, concerned you might've hurt her when the door hit her foot, but the macabre girl used the opportunity to press her palm flat against your door and pushed it wide open.
She took a step forward menacingly, forcing you to take a step back. She took another step, and you took another one back. When she was inside your room fully, she used the back of her heel to shut your door.
The resounding click of it made you swallow.
"Wednesday," you clenched your jaw, fighting against something you weren't even really sure why. But you were terrified—of her, you don't think, but rather what she was capable of doing to your heart.
"I have been patient," Wednesday's voice is quiet, but her tone is sharp, expressing every bit of her lost tolerance. "I have waited for you silently."
Wednesday kept walking towards you, backing you up until your back bumped into your desk. She looked positively irritated. "I have even refrained from saying a single unkind thing despite them running through my mind at the sight of you moping at whatever has been keeping you up at night."
"How did you know—"
"Do you take me for an idiot?" Wednesday's eyes flashed dangerously at your insinuation. You shook your head.
"Then you must take me for a fool with endless patience," Wednesday glared at you. "I don't take kindly to the kind of games you're playing."
"I'm not playing anything—"
Wednesday cut you off again. "Then explain concisely what has been keeping you up and why you've been keeping it to yourself."
Silence filled the room as you didn't speak, but Wednesday had already waited this long. She could wait a little more.
Wednesday watched how you gripped the edge of your desk, your finger tapping underneath in rapid succession before you closed your arms over her chest.
The stance was defensive, but you looked more reluctant than wary.
"I'm having nightmares about you."
The admittance stunned Wednesday, and she didn't know how to take it. Initially, it felt like a compliment because nightmares were so fascinating and exhilarating to experience, and Wednesday hoped to have nightmares every night she slept based on that logic.
But you were not her.
Nightmares, illogically, were typically not desirable.
"Wednesday, I—" You swallowed. "I have feelings for you. You're the best and worst part of my days because I actually feel clinically insane everytime I see you, spend time with you and then have to face the fact that you're not mine and I'm not yours."
Wednesday's jaw clenched, and it was noticeable. She wanted to open her mouth and demand how you could feel the exact same way she did, but she kept her mouth shut, waiting for you to continue on.
"And I have nightmares about losing you," you confessed. "I have nightmares about losing you to Tyler or another deranged supernatural being. I have nightmares about losing you to Xavier or Enid or somebody like Tyler, minus the whole mass genocide. I have nightmares about losing you in every single imaginable way, only to wake up and realize you're not mine, and you can't lose what you don't have."
"I can't tell if the nightmare is when I'm asleep or when I'm awake." You put your hands to your face, laughing hollowly. Tears well up in the back of your eyes, burning as they were so dry from lack of sleep. "I think I'm going crazy."
Wednesday wanted to tell you that going crazy was supposed to be wonderful. But she, herself, has been experiencing the whirlwind of elation and torment you put her through and believed that going crazy wasn't as wonderful as she thought.
But Wednesday decided then and there that there was no way up from crazy. And while it's unfortunate that she's not the brand of crazy like Uncle Fester, she's been driven mad nonetheless. It's the only thing that could explain all of this and everything that's about to come.
Wednesday grabbed your wrist, moving your hand away from her face. No visions plague her, and all she knows is that this meant her decision wouldn't end in misfortune and it wouldn't drive her down a lonely path.
"Enid's not expecting me back tonight," Wednesday told you as she dragged you over to your bed. Her succinct tone leaves no room for you to ask any questions.
"Um, okay?" You said anyway, thrown off by her response and feeling exhaustion saw at your bones, dragging the invisible knife back and forth.
Wednesday guided you to get into bed, and you complied. Resignation settled over you as you rested your head on your pillow. It was cold again with you being away from it, but it brought no comfort.
You lay facing the wall, about to pull the blanket up to your chin, when you heard something drop against the floor. You turned your head and saw that Wednesday had set her backpack down, and now she was zipping off her sweater, hanging it on the pole of your bed frame, leaving her in her black long-sleeve.
Wednesday took her shoes off before using every bit of her vulnerability to steadily and carefully climb into bed with you. It was dark, with only a little light from the moonlight shining just barely into the room, and you could make out the barest hint of her features and knew she was staring intently at you, trying to ascertain if this was a boundary both of you could bear to cross.
Her touch was slow and hesitant, revealing this was something she's never done before, but the moment you were in her arms, you clicked into place like a puzzle piece.
Wednesday was cool against your body, but she was warming from your touch and shared heat trapped under the blanket. She smelt like rain and dry leaves, and you felt like you were going insane. You buried your face into her neck.
Wednesday wrapped her arms around you, holding you close, allowing the things she's been desiring for a while to come to fruition. She couldn't tell if this was making her saner or driving her closer to insanity.
It was deliriously pleasant.
"Who said you're not mine?" Wednesday muttered into the shell of your ear.
It's suddenly not enough, and Wednesday now knew the answer was that it was driving her closer to insanity.
Wednesday pulled back slightly, looking into your eyes that were so tired just moments ago. The dark circles remained, but you were wide awake, speckles of oblivion in your eyes.
Despite how everything else changed as you became sleep deprived, your lips still remained full and soft.
Wednesday moved to close the gap, sighing softly as her lips slanted against yours.
How could she feel like jagged glass, splintered and sharp, while you felt so soft, practically melting around her serrated edges?
Wednesday only pulled back marginally, cupping your jaw and the back of your neck. "Who told you that you don't already have me? I want names."
You couldn't even think straight with how her breath felt on your lips. You pushed forward again, pressing your lips against Wednesday's insistently.
Was it possible for reality to be better than a dream?
Your lips slotted over Wednesday's over and over and over. Wednesday tugged at your bottom lip, smoothing over it with her tongue before it dipped at the edge of your mouth where your tongue met hers.
It was dizzying, something that frequently happened to Wednesday when it was too warm. She usually hated the sensation of it, but, of course, as many things were exceptions when it came to you, this was one of them too.
"Your nightmares are inane."
You couldn't help but laugh against Wednesday's lip.
"I think I am actually insane," you grinned, and you saw a ghost of something similar on Wednesday's lips.
"Sleep," Wednesday ordered you, kissing you chastely initially but ending up biting your bottom lip tenderly. Her hands pull you closer, her lips resting on your forehead. "I'm here, so nothing will plague you."
The softness of Wednesday is unimaginable, and you're nearly skeptical.
"But—"
"No." Wednesday countered bluntly. "I'm telling you that I'm here and yours. You may come to regret it, knowing how...difficult I am. But you're stuck with me. Congratulations," Wednesday tilts her head slightly, brushing against yours, "or condolences."
But you could hear Wednesday's heartbeat, and it was dark, and you were so tired, but you were close enough to hear Wednesday's heartbeat.
Your lips tingle from Wednesday's kisses. You felt your eyelids grow heavy along with your body, and the way Wednesday shifted told you she was satisfied.
Nighttime could be hellish, but Wednesday Addams saw you—she always would. And all she had to do was put her lips over your nightmares.

Dinosaur Talks
Pairing: Wednesday Addams x reader
Summary: You like to talk about dinosaurs, and Wednesday likes to listen.
Warnings: soft/ooc!wednesday (does this even need to be said)
Word count: 0.8k
Notes: this is literally just for 🦕 anon. i hope you enjoy it, dino<3
Masterlist
“The Mesozoic Era, also known as the Age of Dinosaurs, is comprised of three periods—the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. The first real dinosaurs actually emerged in the middle of the Triassic period—aw, come on, Thing. A draw four? Really, man?”
Calm, somehow smug-sounding taps sounded from atop her bed followed by low mutterings about betrayal, but Wednesday paid it little mind.
Her fingers flew across the keys of her typewriter with a rhythm and purpose she had become well acquainted with. She was in what many referred to as the zone—when words surged from her like the rapids of a raging river.
It was a state of being achieved by having complete, unrelenting attention to the task at hand. A familiar feeling when it came to her writing.
You were in a similar state. Though instead of writing out the gory details of a detective’s crime scene like she was, you were entrenched in your ramblings about prehistoric creatures.
An interesting sight, but not an unfamiliar one to Wednesday or really anyone that knew you.
It was no secret that for whatever reason, you were very fond of dinosaurs.
They were a special interest of sorts, something you were exceedingly passionate about, and though she herself cared little about reptiles gone long extinct, she indulged you for reasons not entirely yet known to her.
“Fascinating,” she responded evenly, allowing her mind to file the information away with all of the other technically useless dinosaur-related factoids you’d voluntarily offered up over the months she had known you.
You shot her a smile that likely would’ve blinded her if she were looking directly at it. “I know right? How about you, Thing? You think it’s fascinating?”
Wednesday could picture him giving you an excited thumbs up in response, and the airy laugh you let out all but confirmed it.
“Okay, it’s your turn, bud. Yeah, I’ll keep going,” you took a breath, sat up a little straighter. “The Triassic period ended with an extinction event. A bunch of sudden, widespread volcanic eruptions wiped out all Triassic archosaurs apart from dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and crocodiles. This ushered in the…”
You trailed off slowly, animated frame going oddly still in her peripheral.
The abruptness of it made Wednesday spare you the smallest of glances, and she found you looking back at her, brows drawn, and bottom lip tucked between your teeth.
“Actually, uh…nevermind, I’ll save it for later. After you’re done writing.” You flashed a small smile then turned back to your game with Thing.
Quiet embraced the room. The only sounds that could be heard were the shuffling of cards and the occasional taps from Thing. And Wednesday should have been happy about the newfound peace, should have been able to put even more focus on her work. But she couldn’t.
Because suddenly, it was as if there was a dam halting the natural flow of her artistic river, causing the joints in her fingers to stiffen and her mind to go frustratingly blank.
Usually, it was the opposite. Enid’s incessant noise was a notorious distraction during her writing time and though she’d grown somewhat attached to her roommate, there were times when she wished she had a muzzle on hand so she could have just a moment of tranquility.
And yet now that she had the silence she normally longed for, she didn’t want it.
Her mind instead craved the timbre and intonation of your voice when you spoke about something with immense fervor. The space felt empty without it.
With a silent sigh, she set her hands on her lap and turned to you, momentarily giving you her full attention. “And what of the Jurassic period?”
Your head whipped to the side. “Huh?”
“That is the period that follows the Triassic period, correct?” she prompted.
You blinked a few times, clearly unsure, but an expectant raise of her brows was enough for you to take the extended olive branch.
“Well, yes,” you started up again, tone excited but informative, “the Jurassic period is indeed what followed the Triassic period, and thanks to Jurassic Park, it’s the most identifiable of the three. It was during this period that the first gigantic sauropod and theropod dinosaurs appeared—"
You looked away to continue your card game with Thing, words never faltering in the process, but Wednesday’s eyes stayed on you for just a bit longer.
Your ardor for these stupid dead animals was not cute—she refused to ever allow that word into her personal vocabulary—but it was something akin to that.
Endearing, perhaps. Possibly charming. Or maybe something even more…
No, that wasn’t a rabbit hole she was interested in diving into just yet, she decided.
Returning her gaze forward, she flexed her fingers experimentally, exhaling when she found them relaxed and ready, just as they were before.
Satisfied, Wednesday turned back to her typewriter and continued the paragraph she was working on, once again letting the currents of her creativity flow from her freely to the symphonically sweet sound of your voice.

Self Centered
Summary: Wednesday realizes just how self-centered she has been. (reader has powers connected to nature)
Pairing: fem!Reader x Wednesday
Warning: slight angst
AN: Love the Wednesday character. Cold emotionless cutoff while also sadistic mean and cruel
"No Wednesday."
Those were the words you'd muttered to the girl before disappearing into the crowd. No. Wednesday was almost unsure how to process it. Since she'd came to this school of miscreants there hadn't been a single person not willing to bend to her will and since you'd started.... whatever it is you have with Wednesday you'd never turned away from any of her desires. So what changed? By the time Wednesday has recovered from the blatant rejection you're long gone and she's left to do nothing but return to Ophelia hall. She goes over the whole interaction again, taking note of your slumped shoulders and baggy eyes. You weren't yourself today, honestly if Wednesday truly thought about it you hadn't been yourself for some time. How long had it been since your demeanor changed? You don't smile at her anymore, you never seek her attention. When was the last time she'd spoken to you before today? She's been so caught up trying to investigate her stalker that she's completely neglected other parts of her life. Entering her shared room she's unsurprised and slightly disappointed to see Enid laying in her bed speaking with Thing.
"I just don't think this color suits your skin tone, the lighter green would go much better."
Thing taps and signs in response causing Enid to gasp.
"You take that back."
Upon hearing the door close the blonde's attention is grabbed eyes locking with black ones.
"Hey Weds, how's the investigation? Did (Y/N) agree to head into the forest with you tonight?"
"No."
The ravenette says as she neatly deposits her things on her side of the room moving towards her desk chair to start her writing hour.
"I'm not surprised."
Enid lets out in response gaze moving back to the display of nail polishes she put out for Thing to choose from. This catches Wednesday's attention, turning in her chair she burns Enid with her glare.
"Why is that?"
"Well she literally almost died during your last 'investigation' when she was stabbed and said "I'm never helping you again Wednesday Addams" while I stitched her up."
Before she continues Enid lets out a sigh muttering she's gonna kill me under her breath before continuing.
"And I'm going to tell you this because you're my best friend, (Y/N) has been unhappy for some time. You treat her more like your minion than partner. You drag her along on these dangerous stunts where she almost always gets hurt yet you never put forth any effort into the relationship, the last few things she's agreed to have been purely because thats the only way she gets to spend time with you. She is tired of it all being one sided so you need to get your act together unless you want to loose this relationship you pretend to not care about."
As Enid speaks its like a light bulb pops above Wednesday's head, recalling past encounters, conversations, and arguments she now finds herself feeling conflicted over. Standing abruptly Wednesday leaves her room, completely disregarding Enid and her writing hour. She needed to find you. It was never her intention to use you, or was it? She'd been approaching this like she would approach anything else but she now realizes that in and of itself is the problem. This isn't anything else. As much as she will deny it she cares for you in a way that is completely foreign to her. Arriving at your dorm room she knocks three times. Waiting only thirty seconds before knocking again.
"I'm coming, I'm coming."
Wednesday bites back her snarky remarks when Bianca opens your shared dorm door. The siren does nothing to hide her disgusted face in turn.
"(Y/N) isn't here. She's always in the gardens during this time. Of course you'd know that if you cared about anyone other than yourself."
That is all the ravenette gets before the door is slammed in her face, Wednesday's eyebrows furrow as she turns on her heel. Just how self centered had she been? In her eight months of knowing you and five months of courting she'd learned little to nothing about you. Besides physical attributes and your general knowledge Wednesday never made an effort to get to know you better lazer focused on the hyde investigation then later her stalker you were always kept on the back burner. For the first time in her life guilt washes over her and it makes her bristle. Her feet move quickly towards the garden, entering she doesn't even have to look following your voice carrying through the flowers. Wednesday can't help the way her lips turn in disgust as she walks, the garden was to bright countless flowers planted aimlessly with no value yet she couldn't deny the health of the garden. Every flower in bloom properly watered and glowing. Coming around a corver she sees why observing you as you sang along the the music coming from your phone. You fingers were at work using your powers to meticulously grow different flowers and plants in healthy soil. You worked diligently so immersed in it that you fail to notice the brooding aura observing you. You fill the flower box you're working on with purple lillies a beautiful contrast to the blue bachelor buttons in the box next to it. Stepping back you observe your work humming in approval before turing to head to a different part of the garden. The moment you spin you freeze eyes meeting black ones you'd never once seen in the garden before. You are truly at a loss of words at the girls presence as she'd never once seeked your company and for a moment you consider pinching yourself. Surely this must be a dream.
"Wednesday? Ummmmm.... what are you doing here?"
"I came to apologize."
Okay now you were sure you were dreaming. You look around before pinching yourself.
"I must be living in the matrix."
You say before looking around again. Not sure if this is true reality. Silence envelopes both of you as Wednesday stares realizing she's never truly had to apologize. Especially not of her own volition. She's stumped on what to say or do but you don't wait long scoffing you begin to walk past the ravenette.
"If this is your way of apologizing spare me."
Wednesday stays quiet denying herself the mean and witty response knowing it wouldn't help her situation as she starts to form words in her brain she follows you past a dead section of the garden three planters tucked away in the middle of the garden that you don't even glance at as you continue foreward. Wednesday pauses for a moment taking in the uncared for section in contrast to the overly cared for garden before moving to quickly catch up with you.
"(Y/N) I apologize for my previous actions. As surprising as it may be I have not realized the fault until now. You are more than my pawn but I have failed to treat you as such. So I hope you can forgive me."
You merely hum in response not taking your eyes off the planter you stood infront of.
"Ok Wednesday."
You dig your figures in the soil trying to decide what would look best in the array of colors before you. Wednesday can tell her words have little affect and the fact that she may of already lost you causes her stomach to unsettle. Not easily detered she sticks around watching you mend the soil before speaking up again.
"That patch back there full of dead plants, why did you walk right past it? You seem very keen on keeping everything else in the garden grown and healthy."
You jump when she speaks honestly surprised that she was still there.
"Ummmm.."
You hesitate before releasing a sigh and turning to face Wednesday.
"It was a patch of flowers I grew for you when we first began our relationship. I grew them in the beginning as a gift symbolizing the start of our bond. I was going to show them to you the first time I invited you to the garden but as your rejections grew harsher and the light of what our relationship truly was shined brighter..... I stopped caring for the flowers. Now the bushes are barren and dead yet still as symbolic as ever."
You release another sad sigh eyes dropping to the ground before turning back towards the soil.
"If you don't mind Wednesday I'd like to be alone. I'm sure you have more important matters to attend to."
More important. The words Wednesday used everytime you've invited her to the garden. Everytime you've asked to spend time together in Jericho. Everytime you've tried to have conversation about anything other than her current obsession. Everytime you tried to engage her in a subject or activity revolving around you. She'd made you feel unimportant.
"No I don't."
Wednesday pauses a moment unhappy with how unstable her voice sounded.
"While I have failed to prove it in the past you are the most important thing in my life. I...... care for you deeply and I do not wish for our relationship to be forgetten, barren, and dead. This is all new to me..... these feelings, this bond.... but I won't allow myself to be held back by my lack of knowledge. So I will sit here all night if I have to. Today, tomorrow, and the next if that is what it takes for you to forgive me."
Your vision becomes cloudy as tears form in your eyes, the once grey sky becoming dark with clouds and as the first drop falls so does your first tear. This was all you ever wanted, effort. Tears fall as your heart pounds in your chest after finally being showed you meant something to the Addams girl and if that wasn't enough the feeling of a hand wrapping around your forarm was.
"I'm sorry mon cher."
Another apology things that were unknown from Wednesday Addams coupled with physical contact something you'd never experienced from the girl.
"I forgive you."

The days following that conversation were even harder than you imagined. Wednesday's request for a second chance lingered in your mind, replaying in an endless loop. Could you trust her again? Could you forgive her? Could you forgive yourself for even wanting to?
The hallways of Nevermore felt colder now. You and Wednesday didn't cross paths often, but when you did, there was always that heavy, unspoken tension between you. She would glance at you, her expression unreadable, but you never lingered long enough to figure it out. You wanted space; you needed it.
Yet, somehow, the universe seemed intent on forcing you two together.
It was late in the evening when Enid, Wednesday's roommate and one of the few people who had noticed the distance between the two of you, found you sitting by the edge of the forest. She approached cautiously, her usual bubbly energy dampened by the weight of concern.
"Y/N?" Enid's voice was soft, almost hesitant. "I've been meaning to talk to you."
You sighed, leaning back against the tree behind you. "If this is about Wednesday, I really don't want to hear it, Enid."
Enid sighed as she sat down next to you, brushing her long, colorful hair over her shoulder. "Look, I know what happened. Not everything, but... enough."
You turned to her, surprised. "She told you?"
She nodded. "Not exactly in a heartfelt, soul-bearing way—she's still Wednesday—but she mentioned that she messed up. That she hurt you."
You rubbed your hands together, feeling the familiar sting of heartache. "She kissed Tyler. She never even kissed me. And then... she called me a burden."
Enid winced. "I'm sorry. That's... yeah, that's harsh."
"It broke me, Enid," you said, your voice barely a whisper. "I don't know how to move past that."
Enid was silent for a moment before placing a hand on your shoulder. "You know, Wednesday isn't exactly the best at handling feelings. She's never been the type to open up or admit when she's wrong. And if she told you she wants a second chance, that's her way of saying she... cares."
You snorted bitterly. "Cares? She cared enough to kiss Tyler."
Enid shook her head. "That was a mistake. A huge one. But Tyler? That's a whole different mess, and you need to know the truth."
A knot of unease formed in your stomach. "What do you mean?"
Enid hesitated, then glanced around to make sure no one was listening. "You know Tyler's the Hyde, right?"
You stared at her, your heart suddenly racing. "What?"
"Wednesday's been trying to figure out who the Hyde is for weeks. She was sure it was Xavier at first, but Tyler... he's the real monster." Enid's eyes widened, trying to make you understand the weight of what she was saying. "That kiss? I think it was part of her plan. Trying to get close to him, trying to learn more about the Hyde. She was focused on the case—maybe too focused. But you have to understand, Y/N, it wasn't about him. It wasn't even about you."
The revelation hit you like a punch to the gut. Tyler was the Hyde. Wednesday kissed him as part of her investigation. But that didn't change the fact that it had still happened, that she had said things to you she could never take back.
"Why didn't she tell me any of this?" you asked, frustration building. "I could've helped."
"Because she thought you were in danger. She didn't want you involved." Enid looked at you with sympathy. "Wednesday doesn't always know how to show it, but she pushes people away when she's scared. She thought the Hyde might come after you if you got too close."
You shook your head, a bitter laugh escaping your lips. "I don't need her protection. I just wanted her honesty."
"I know," Enid said softly. "And maybe she does, too."
The next few days passed in a blur. Your mind was a storm of conflicting emotions. You felt betrayed, but you also understood why she had kept things from you. It didn't excuse her actions, but it added a new layer of complexity to the situation.
Then came the night everything changed.
Nevermore had fallen into a tense silence as word spread that the Hyde had been captured. Tyler had been taken into custody, but the damage had already been done. You hadn't seen Wednesday since the arrest, and part of you was relieved. The space between you still felt fragile, like one wrong move could shatter everything.
But late one night, as you lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, there was a knock at your door.
You didn't have to ask who it was.
You opened the door to find Wednesday standing there, her dark eyes gleaming with something you couldn't quite place. It wasn't the usual cool indifference. There was something deeper, more conflicted.
"I need to talk to you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
You sighed but stepped aside, letting her in.
Wednesday stood in the center of your room, her hands clasped in front of her, her usual confidence replaced by something almost vulnerable. "I'm not good at this," she began, her eyes flickering to the floor. "But I know I owe you an explanation."
You folded your arms, waiting.
"I... made a mistake," she said, her voice quieter than you'd ever heard it. "With Tyler. With the case. With you. I thought I was doing what was necessary, but I hurt you in the process."
You didn't say anything, your heart pounding in your chest.
"I thought I could handle everything on my own," she continued, her voice wavering. "I thought I didn't need anyone. But... I was wrong. I pushed you away because I was afraid. Afraid that if I let you get too close, you'd get hurt. Or worse."
You clenched your fists, trying to keep your emotions in check. "You still kissed him, Wednesday. You called me a burden."
"I know," she said, stepping closer, her eyes locking onto yours. "And I regret it. I regret all of it. I didn't mean those things. I just didn't know how to handle... us."
Her admission hung in the air, raw and unfiltered. For a moment, you didn't know what to say. You had wanted this—an apology, an explanation—but now that it was here, you didn't know if it was enough.
"I don't know if I can forgive you," you said finally, your voice breaking. "Not after everything."
Wednesday looked down, her expression unreadable. "I don't deserve your forgiveness. I know that. But I do care about you, Y/N. More than I realized."
The room fell silent, the weight of her words settling between you. You stared at her, trying to make sense of everything. Could you really trust her again? Could you let her back into your heart after everything she had done?
Before you could respond, there was a sudden loud crash outside your window, followed by a low growl that sent chills down your spine. You and Wednesday exchanged a glance before rushing to the window.
The Hyde was back.
But Tyler was in custody. How could this be?
Without thinking, you and Wednesday darted outside, your heart pounding as you made your way into the dark woods. You could hear the growls growing closer, and the realization hit you like a freight train. Tyler wasn't the only Hyde. There was another.
The monster lurked in the shadows, its grotesque form illuminated by the faint moonlight. It lunged at you, but Wednesday was faster, her knife flashing in the darkness as she dodged its attack.
"Stay back," she ordered, her voice sharp. "This isn't your fight."
But you didn't listen. You weren't going to stand by and let her handle it alone—not this time.
The battle was fierce, the Hyde's monstrous strength nearly overwhelming. But together, you and Wednesday fought with everything you had. The creature was relentless, its claws slashing through the air as it tried to tear you apart.
Finally, with a well-placed strike, Wednesday brought the creature down, her breathing ragged as she stood over its fallen body. But before you could catch your breath, the creature stirred, its eyes glowing with fury.
It wasn't dead. Not yet.
The Hyde lunged again, its claws aimed directly at you. But in a split second, Wednesday stepped in front of you, taking the hit.
She gasped, her body crumpling to the ground as blood seeped from her side.
As you rushed to Wednesday's side after defeating the Hyde, you found her alive—just badly hurt. Her breathing was shallow, but she was far from the brink of death.
"Wednesday, hang on. I've got you," you said, your voice trembling with concern.
She opened her eyes, grimacing as she clutched her side. "I'm... fine," she muttered, her pride refusing to let her admit how much pain she was in.
You helped her to her feet, your arm supporting her as she winced. Despite the pain, she refused to show weakness. "We need to get back to Nevermore," you said urgently.
"I can walk," she insisted, her expression cold but faltering for a moment.
Still, you didn't let go. "I'm not leaving you to handle this alone anymore, Wednesday. We're in this together. Whether you like it or not."
There was a pause. Wednesday looked at you, something different in her eyes now—an unspoken understanding. She didn't argue this time.
Once back at Nevermore, the aftermath of the fight lingered in the air. The faculty and other students rushed to deal with the Hyde situation. Tyler may have been caught, but the existence of a second Hyde shook everyone.
In the infirmary, Wednesday sat quietly as a medic stitched up her side. You hovered nearby, refusing to leave her. She had taken a hit for you—something she would never openly admit was driven by care. Yet, there was no denying it. You could see it in her eyes, in the way she had thrown herself in harm's way.
After the medic left, the room fell into silence again. Wednesday looked up at you, her face still pale from the ordeal but her gaze as sharp as ever. "You should've left. I didn't need you getting hurt."
You shook your head. "You don't get it, do you? I wasn't going to let you fight that thing alone."
"Why?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper. For the first time, she sounded unsure. Vulnerable.
"Because I care about you," you said, the words heavy with emotion. "No matter how many times you push me away, no matter how many walls you put up, I still care. And that's not going to change."
Wednesday's expression shifted, her usual mask of indifference cracking just slightly. She looked away, her voice softer than before. "I don't deserve it. Any of it."
You stepped closer, sitting on the edge of her bed. "Maybe you don't think you do, but I still want to give it. I want to try again. But this time, we do it differently. No more pushing each other away. No more lies."
She looked at you then, her dark eyes searching yours. "I won't make promises I can't keep," she said, her voice careful. "But I'll try."
That was all you needed to hear.
Over the following days, things between you and Wednesday began to shift. She was still Wednesday—cold, sarcastic, and not the type to suddenly become affectionate. But there were subtle changes. She would sit with you at lunch, even if she pretended it was because she "needed a distraction." She would find excuses to be near you, even though she claimed it was because you "were less annoying than most people."
And sometimes, late at night, when she thought no one was watching, you'd catch her glancing your way, a fleeting softness in her gaze.
It wasn't a perfect second chance. Wednesday still had her thorns, and there were moments when she reverted to her distant self. But it was different now. You weren't afraid of getting hurt, and she wasn't afraid to let you in—at least, a little bit.
One evening, as you both sat in the darkened library, Wednesday quietly reading while you worked on an assignment, she spoke without looking up from her book.
"I saw you," she said suddenly.
You blinked, confused. "Saw me what?"
"That night," she clarified, still not looking at you. "When I kissed Tyler. I saw you watching."
Your heart skipped a beat at the memory. It still stung, even now. "Yeah. I remember."
"I didn't know what I was doing then," she admitted, her voice low. "I thought it was part of the plan. But when I saw the look on your face... I realized it wasn't just a case. I had hurt you. More than I should have."
You didn't say anything at first, letting her words sink in. This was as close to an apology as you'd get from Wednesday Addams.
"I hated you for it," you admitted softly. "But I hated myself more for still caring."
She finally looked at you then, her expression unreadable. "I won't kiss him again."
It was a strange way of promising something deeper—something more than just avoiding mistakes. But it was enough for now.
You nodded. "Good. Because I'd prefer you didn't."
There was a brief silence before she spoke again, her voice softer. "I've never had this before. I don't know how to handle it."
You gave her a small smile. "Neither do I. But we'll figure it out together. One step at a time."
And for the first time, Wednesday didn't have a sarcastic retort. She simply nodded, closing her book and resting her hand on the table between you—just close enough that, if you reached out, you could touch it.
You didn't yet, but the gesture was enough. For now.

My Review of the OFFICIAL Wednesday Novelization
Recently, MGM released an official novelization that re-tells the events of Wednesday Season 1. What makes this novelization most notable is that it is told in the FIRST PERSON from Wednesday's perspective. Thus, you are getting the chance to relive the entire first season inside of Wednesday's mind this time.
On one hand, this provides great insights into Wednesday's character, and provides some explanation for certain moments in the show that I originally thought didn't need to be explained. For example, the piranhas Wednesday unleashed early in the first episode... we now know she was able to get them from a pet shop owner after black mailing him with information she had about him and his secret mistress. It makes an already dark moment in the show even more dark, and I love it!
However on the other hand, I sort of enjoyed how in the show: we had to guess what Wednesday was thinking just by looking at Jenna Ortega's face. I think it was way more fun at times to imagine what was going through Wednesday's mind, versus knowing with certainty what she was thinking. Additional criticisms I also have include how the book uses very little of Wednesday's actual narration from the show, and the bizarre choice of skipping certain scenes of the series, while over explaining in details other scenes (including a few short moments Wednesday wasn't even present at).
However all these flaws are made up for with the fascinating insights into how Wednesday views Enid. To be clear, this book does NOT say Wednesday has a romantic interest in Enid. However... Wednesday's first person narration does have Wednesday slowly admit to herself that she does view Enid as her best friend... although Wednesday also admits that is by default, because she also considers Enid her only friend (with characters such as Eugene, Bianca, and Xavier only being described as allies). Throughout the later half of the book, Wednesday also describes herself as missing Enid whenever she's not around, even talking about how she misses the bright colors she wears.
Also, while the book for the most part does not contradict what happened in the show... there is one small retcon the book throws in. As Wednesday wishes to grow closer to Enid, she wishes to find some way she can better relate to Enid, and give them both something in common they can talk about. Since Enid now has a boyfriend, Wednesday (according to her first person narration) decides to try a romantic relationship with Tyler (so that she and Enid can grow closer due to both having boyfriends now). So according to the book... in her own weird way... Wednesday kissed Tyler as a way to get closer to Enid... which I think is a BRILLIANT RETCON!
So while the book is a bit uneven at times (and likely could have used one more rewrite), and does eliminate much of the unspoken subtext that occurred during scenes in the show... it still is a fascinating novel. The insights into how Wednesday's brain thinks is very entertaining and imaginative at times; including fun new dark jokes Charles Addams himself would be proud of. I would not recommend casual fans or people that have never seen show read this book... but for hardcore fans (and fanfiction writers that need some new inspiration on how to write Wednesday): this is definitely worth your time.

Missing Scene
Enid: Oh my gosh, she is just SO INFURIATING! Like does she seriously just not realize that her actions affect other people? Or does she just not care? I mean seriously! How could someone be so… soo… RAGH SO OBLIVIOUS?!
Yoko: *flipping through her alchemy textbook* Yeah, seriously. Some people.
Enid: And why does she have to be so… fricking heartless about it?! I mean, my feelings matter too! Surely more than some stupid “investigation” or whatever the flip! Right?
Yoko: *yawning* Totally, girl. You deserve respect too.
Enid: Why doesn’t she realize that I’m just trying to help her? I’m on her side! I want her to be able to figure this all out, cause she’s like, really really smart even though she’s so stupid sometimes but in like, a sorta endearing way where she’s trying to help but doesn’t realize the full consequences of her actions or that she’s hurting people. I mean, maybe if she thought some of these things through a little more, she’d try to find better ways cause she doesn’t actually like hurting people, at least people she cares about, cause again, she’s kinda sweet like that.
Yoko: *looks up from her textbook, raises eyebrow* Wait, huh? Are we still talking about the same thing?
Enid: *ignores Yoko* And like, she does have a soft side underneath all the spiky death traps she puts around herself. She totally felt guilty about Eugene, even though it wasn’t her fault. And she really does try to make sure I’m comfortable, even if it’s a little inconvenient for her. And she absolutely does have a protective side to her, like when she put herself in front of me whenever the monster tried to attack us. It was really kinda cute and nice when she made sure I got out safe first.
Yoko: *squints her eyes suspiciously* Huh… yeah…
Enid: Ugh, but she doesn’t really take good care of herself. Hmph, knowing her, she totally forgot to eat a proper meal today. Mmm and I bet you like ten bucks she hasn’t drank enough water today either. Oh jeez, if I’m not there to make sure she eats something, then she’s just gonna work herself into the ground on this investigation and is probably gonna pass out. Oh no, and what if she passes out and hits her head on something?! WHAT IF THING ISN’T THERE TO GET HELP? HOW WOULD HE EVEN CARRY HER? HE’S JUST A HAND!
Yoko: Am I missing something, or aren’t you supposed to still be upset with her about the whole emotional manipulation thing?
Enid: I am mad at her, Yoko! But she still needs sustenance! After all, she’s all alone up there now! Oh, she’s probably just curled up all sad and lonely and oh my gosh that’s so sad. *tearing up*
Yoko: Girl, we’re literally in the room right below her. I’m sure she’ll be fine. You? I’m starting to question that. *under her breath* Talk about whipped, holy shit.
Enid: I need to find some way to check up on her. Maybe I can ask Thing? No no, that’s mean to use her own family against her. Oh, I got it! I’ll just say I forgot my nail polish! That way I can check to see if she’s eaten! And I technically won’t be going back on my word, right? Cause I’m technically only going back to get something! Aha, it’s a perfect plan!
Yoko: *under her breath, turning back to her textbook* So fucking whipped.
(Day 10, Prompt 10 of Wenclair-Tober! Sorry this was so long lol. Also yeah, everyone talks about how affected Wednesday was by the argument, but nobody talks about how Enid was affected lol. Girlie was in the same building and still couldn’t stay away from her hot goth “roomie” and came back THREE times lmaoooo. Even though she was supposedly so upset with Wends lol. Gomez behavior.)

The way you heal me
Wednesday Addams x fem reader
Playlist
Part 1
You stormed out of Wednesday and Enid’s dorm, footsteps leaving a trail of desolation in his wake. If your tears weren’t flowing before, they definitely were now. You swung open the door to your dorm, quietly hoping your room safe wasn’t around to see you in your current state. Your request was fulfilled as she was nowhere in sight.
Flinging yourself on your bed was a bad idea - Wednesday’s scent still lingered on the sheets from the night before; a thought that urged more tears to spill. A quiet knock resounded from the door; one in which you ignored. If they really needed you they could send you a voice message on your phone. But they never left - the knocks persisted as you attempted to block out the noise with music in the background.
Grumbling, you stood up and pulled the door open to reveal Enid Sinclair. She gave you a look of pity when she saw your disheveled state before asking “can I come in?”. Wordlessly nodding, you opened the door a bit wider so she could slip in. You sat back down at your bed, hearing the door click before the soft padding of socks came towards you. You were grateful Enid sat right next to you as you opted to lean your head on her shoulder.
A couple of deafening minutes passed before Enid spoke up “Sooo.. what happened back there?”.
She could feel you physically stiffen before groaning. You picked at the skin near your fingernails, not feeling the need to answer her question at the moment.
“You don’t have to tell me Y/n; whatever you feel comfortable with saying is fine.”
You stayed quiet for a bit before speaking up, voice rasping as you did so. “I was just trying to get her to take a break Enid.”
“I understand that Y/n; Wednesday can always be a little stubborn.”
“She said it like I was pathetic for caring about her health.”You spat out the word while grimacing.
Enid sighed, grabbing your arm to make you look at her. “Listen, Wednesday doesn’t think you’re pathetic and you should be the first person to know so. I’ve seen the way she looks at you - like you’re the star of the world. So, instead of subjecting yourself to these deteriorating thoughts, how about we talk about how she shows she loves you?”
You seemed to contemplate her idea prior to obliging.
“She does this thing when I’m upset with something - like she kisses my ring finger to comfort me I don’t know how to explain”
“Great! So how does that make you feel?”
“Like I’m the only one she looks at” You say, cringing at your words.
“Because you are she only looks at you and when you enter, she stares at you like you’re the only one in the world. It’s kinda creepy to be honest..”
“Enid she also looks at you, Yoko and Bianca I’m not the only person she knows.”
“Okay but I swear she looks at you differently like I’m being real here she looks at everyone else the same but with you it’s not the same. And you’re her girlfriend for crying out loud!”
You chuckle a bit before frowning right after. “Then why did she..”
“Y/n it could be from the stress, the pressure, or even in the spur of the moment! I don’t know, but I definitely know that she didn’t mean it. Wednesday would never say that without a reason. She even tells me you’re the love of her life; the one that keeps her going. But enough of that - how else do you know she loves you?
“Well she also calls me Y/n/n but don’t tell her cause she will get mad..”
The night was full of laughter with a few breakdowns before turning right back up with the faint music playing from the disc in your room.
—
When you woke up Enid was nowhere to be found. You laid in bed, staring at the ceiling for a few solid minutes bracing yourself for the pounding headache you had.
Not feeling up for classes, you sent your friends a quick text telling them to tell the teacher that you would be absent. Finding yourself unable to lull yourself back to sleep, you settled for a cup of coffee and a random romcom you and Wednesday would never live in.
—
Wednesday’s book thudded on the table while she sat down in her seat beside Xavier.
“What has you so worked up??” He said while staring at Wednesday.
“Nothing that concerns you.” Wednesday responded, eyes never peeling from the door.
“Erm..okay” he said, diverting his attention away.
Wednesday’s eyes stared at the door in hopes of you to turn up.
Yoko came in
Then Bianca
Then Enid
Then Ms. Thornhill
Maybe you were just late? She thought
But you never showed up - you didn’t even attend your club with Eugene where you two would crack random bee jokes.
“Where’s Y/n?” Wednesday asked Enid.
“Probably at her dorm sobbing her eyes out because of something YOU blew up at her for.” Enid snapped at her
“I didn’t mean to hurt her”
“I had to stay with her all night while she cried her eyes out thinking you hated her for caring about you.”
Wednesday paused for a moment. “Is she okay?” She asked in an unusually quiet voice.
“I don’t know Wednesday you should ask her not me. Look, I know you don’t hate her but you have to apologize because right now she fully believed you loath her so you have to clear that up with Y/n - not me.”
Wednesday gave Enid a silent nod before pulling on her shoes to rush towards your dorm.
—
Your roommate shot Wednesday a weird glance when she entered your dorm room. “What are you doing here?”
With a quick glance, Wednesday could tell you weren’t there so she had no choice but to converse with your roommate. “Do you know where Y/n is?”
“Umm can you tell me why you are here first?”
“No.”
“Then no I don’t know where Y/n is.”
“Tell me”
“No.”
“Okay. Fine. I need to apologize to her for something.”
“THE Wednesday Addams apologizing? Never would’ve guessed.”
Wednesday rolled her eyes before asking “Can you tell me where she is now?”
“She’s right there” Your roommate said while pointing at the door Wednesday came in a few seconds prior.
Sure enough, you were standing there, eyes narrowed at Wednesday.
“Hey..?” You said slowly setting your drink down on your desk. You shot your roommate a look telling her to get out, which she did at that.
Wednesday watched you sit down at your bed, eyes staring intently at you.
“So..” You started
“I would like to apologize.”
“Oh.”
“I apologize. Can you forgive me?”
Knowing Wednesday had trouble expressing her emotions, you pushed on.
“Can you tell me why you’re apologizing?”
“I apologize for implying you were a burden to me.”
“And?”
“And I apologize for spouting that you weren’t able to assist me. I understand you care for my mental stability and insinuating that you would oppress me in the future was discourteous. Although I previously inferred you wouldn’t be a big presence in my future, I would like to retract those words. These past few hours have been displeasing without you - something I would normally crave for, but without you, that feeling is nothing to me.”
“Do you know how that made me feel?”
Wednesday grimaced. “It made you feel unhappy.”
“Not only did it make me feel unhappy Wednesday. It made me feel inferior. I understand that the Hyde case puts a lot of pressure on you but you can’t take that out on me. I’m similar to you. I get frustrated. I get stressed, but I don’t take it out on other people especially you. In the future, if you are uncomfortable with what I’m doing, you can just tell me and I will stop. I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable with me.”
“It’s not that you made me uncomfortable. I presume the stress buildup caused me to lose my temper. For that, I apologize.”
“Wednesday you don’t have to apologize. Feeling stress is normal and you unconsciously get it. I understand that you didn’t know how to relieve it.”
Wednesday just gave you a ridged nod at that.
“Wednesday come here.”
She strides towards you until she stood in-front of you. You pulled her down into an embrace. Wednesday’s hands hung stiffly around your torso but not quite touching it. You chuckled at that.
“You know you can touch me I’m your girlfriend.”
At that, her hands rested at your waist. Your head buried itself into her neck, leaving a chaste kiss on the skin there. You pulled back, hands still intertwined behind her neck.
“I love you. Do you know that?”
“Yes.”
You pulled her chin towards you, giving her a quick peck on her lips.
“Say it back Wends”
“I love you too.” Wednesday muttered, pale cheeks growing into a dark red color.
You smiled, pulling her back into a heart searing kiss, sealing the emotions drawn from today behind you as a memory of strengthening your relationship.

You know what, fuck Neville Longbottom.
He was NEVER supposed to be a sympathetic character! He's very clearly a character written to be made fun of for being ridiculous! Him being so scared of everything isn't an endearing character trait designed to evoke sympathy and understanding, it's a FLAW that's meant to make you wanna shake him and yell at him to get a fucking grip!
I grew up reading boarding school books, specifically the Enid Blyton ones, which I believe almost every single British child has read. The school stories are mostly traditionally girls' books, and they all have very similar character tropes and themes, some of which are shared with Harry Potter, which is a boarding school story. There's always at least one jokester, such as Alicia in Malory Towers. She's brilliant, intelligent, but she's rather unkind and thoughtless, and always pulls pranks, or rather tricks, on people, especially the one french teacher. She's exactly like Fred and George, practical jokers who are popular and well liked but not always very kind and don't always consider the outcome of their pranks. There's always an incredibly strict teacher the girls don't dare play funny with. In the third book there's this one teacher I cannot recall the name for, but she, I believe, is considered mean and strict and awful up until the end where it turns out she's actually got a good heart. She's not the level of pantomime meanness as Snape is, (perhaps because she's not a male teacher and also not teaching the kids something that could kill them all), but she's a similar trope.
Actually, Snape reminds of the teachers from the old Beano comic, overly strict and mean, but when you consider the shit those kids put them through you can kinda understand why. But ultimately, Snape is a classic children's trope: the mean strict teacher who actually deep inside would take care of the students.
Neville? He's ALSO a trope! The ridiculous coward!
Going back to Malory Towers, there's Mary-Lou. She's a very cowardly, nervous girl (and a sweetheart, but a scaredy cat nonetheless). And that's a FLAW. NOBODY SYMPATHISES WITH HER BECAUSE WHAT SHE'S AFRAID OF IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF! They at best pity her because it's a miserable way to live, but they don't support her for it. There are multiple full plots where the aim is her having to do something scary to get her to shake off this cowardliness, at least one outright organised by another character in an attempt to show her she can be brave.
Scaredy Cat characters in British children's media, especially in these school stories, are never scaredy cats to be sympathised with. They're there as a sort of comedic relief or to make things interesting, and are often considered a nuisance, the way Neville is! In the first book there's a very classic "you need to learn to stand up for yourself" piece involving Neville. Which he does!
People seem to be projecting all sorts of trauma onto Neville. Especially regarding Snape. There seems to be, in this current time, an attitude that him being a coward is something other people need to be accommodating for, and that he's a victim, especially regarding Snape. Neville is not a victim. He's not supposed to be accommodated for, especially in the climate he's living in. He exists as a comic character, and clearly to be a bit ironic as he's a coward in the house of courage. But regardless, his cowardice is not the result of trauma no matter how much people project it onto him and blame Snape for it.
Neville's cowardice is a flaw. It makes him ridiculous. He's afraid of absolutely nothing important at all. He's afraid of a teacher? That's absolutely stupid! Everyone laughs at him. Even he's aware that this is something stupid to be afraid of. He's more afraid of his grandmother, to the point that he didn't mention her because he was that afraid of her being his boggart. It just happened Lupin used the grandma, unaware of the situation, as an idea of how to make the boggart look ridiculous. So it makes me mad that people use the boggart scene as proof that Snape traumatised Neville. Neville is not traumatised. He's just an idiot.
Yes, I've gone there and I'm staying there. He is an idiot. He's frightened of stupid things. He keeps fucking up basic potions, basic spells, everything, to the point that McGonagall forbade him from doing anything in front of the visiting schools because he's that bad at everything. Can he help it?
Yes. He can help it. Instead of being a coward and crying about it, he can just as easily be confident, own up to it, and be more bold in trying to be better. His cowardly nature is what makes people lose respect for him. Something that makes sense considering the setting of the story!
Neville's arc is him growing up and getting confidence by going through difficulties and rising to meet them, not by other people gently helping him through his nonsense (and it is nonsense). That's not how things work in the setting of Hogwarts at all. In the setting and culture of Hogwarts, there's no gentle helping, it's "pull yourself together!". That's exactly the attitude everyone gives Neville, from the students to the teachers.
Neville's cowardice is ridiculous. It's as much of a flaw as Draco's arrogance, Snape's unpleasantness, McGonagall's competitiveness, and so on. He is not meant to be babied for it, or called "traumatised", he's meant to be scolded and shaken until he gets some sense knocked into him.
Snape's approach to Neville is exactly what you'd expect in this context. Maybe another teacher would have less of an unpleasant attitude about it, but in the end they WILL lose patience with him because all he's doing is not learning and trying to make him learn the same thing everyone else learnt last week is going to waste everyone's time. It makes zero sense to spend time trying to get one child to understand a basic concept that everyone else understood ages ago instead of moving with the curriculum. Snape is naturally mad at Neville for messing up the clear instructions that are right there on the board. He's rightfully mad about it. He's rightfully mad that Neville won't learn. He's rightfully mad that Neville's putting them in danger. Yes, he's got an unpleasant attitude, but he's right to be mad. He's also right to use Trevor to make Neville learn. People make it seem like he wanted to poison Neville to upset him. No. He was raising the stakes for Neville so that the love Neville had for his toad would force Neville to get his act together! Which is exactly what I'd expect from a teacher in this context dealing with a student like Neville! Fuck that, that's exactly what I would have done if I'd have had to deal with this idiot for multiple years and he still fucks up the simplest and clearest instructions. If Snape wanted Trevor hurt, he simply wouldn't have restored Trevor to his original state and killed him.
And lastly, not every unpleasant experience is a traumatic experience. One single unpleasant teacher is not going to traumatise Neville or anyone else! It's just a part of life. What, do you want everyone to be nice and coddle these kids so when they leave the safety of Hogwarts they aren't equipped to deal with people who are unpleasant? People love to project and find trauma in every unpleasant situation (for fucks sake they say DUMBLEDORE traumatised Tom when in reality Tom's a sulky baby who's mad that Dumbledore did not fawn over him like everyone else and actually called out his shit) but not every unpleasant situation is a traumatic situation!
And you know what, fuck it but some people have to go through a traumatic event to learn a fucking lesson. Dudley abused his cousin. Being "traumatised", or rather punished for his actions by being turned into a pig is what he deserved/needed, and even then did that stop him tormenting Harry? No! Draco being turned into a ferret? Yes, traumatising, but he's also a bully who needed to be taken down a peg! Neville being "traumatised" by Snape? Good! It may kick the cowardice out of him and make him a bit more cautious about dangerous potions!
Trauma is Snape being bullied by the Marauders for no reason, being abused by his father. Trauma is Harry being abused by the Dursleys. Trauma is what Ginny went through in her first year. Trauma is Neville having to see his parents there but not there when visiting them.
Trauma is NOT dealing with an unpleasant teacher.
Especially when you look at the context of when Harry Potter was written and where Hogwarts is set.
And Neville's cowardice isn't cute or endearing or something to baby, it's a fucking flaw that needs to be dealt with sternly.
#neville longbottom#anti neville longbottom#(not really but it is pretty critical)#(i love him don't get me wrong)#harry potter#pro snape

Like a charm
a/n: in honor of demon slayer AND aot coming out on Friday I wrote this. I think it sucks but I wrote it at 4am. I didn't read over it or anything so tell me if it's good or if it sucks. thanks, pals, here's this one.
Pairing: Wednesday Addams x reader
words: 2.1k
~~~
Enid learned, pretty quick, the best way to get Wednesday out of a foul mood was by getting you. You worked like a charm, pulling her out of any and all bad moods she might be in. Enid didn't waste time in telling almost everyone Wednesday came in contact with, aiming to keep heads on people's shoulders. The amount of times you've been dragged to a murderous Wednesday is laughable. Well, it would be if it wasn't as effective as it actually is.
Wednesday is vexed, furious, miffed. Everything and everyone is testing her patience today. Enid woke up being extra preppy, not being able to find her preferred sweater, and Bianca thinking she's smarter than she actually is, trying to one-up her. Wednesday's thoughts consisted of only the murder of her classmates and destroying anything that gets in her way. The aura Wednesday emitted made everyone steer clear of her. Unfortunately, for everyone around Wednesday, you were nowhere to be found. It wasn't even lunch yet, and this day could not get any worse. But somehow it did.
Wednesday sat in her usual spot in the classroom, an empty seat for you to her right. It's the first class of the day she had with you, as ashamed as she is to admit it, she looked forward to seeing you. Wednesday looked forward to the gentle touches under the table, the small smiles you sent her, the small doodles in her notebook that she swears she'll get rid of but never does. She sat waiting for you, looking at the door expectantly. Her attention is diverted when the chair next to her scrapes unpleasantly against the floor, something you never did. Wednesday tenses, it's not you.
She turned to look at whoever was brave enough to not only sit next to her, but also take your spot, and found Xavier. Her eyes narrowed at him before she spoke, "What are you doing?" her voice sharp.
"Taking an open seat, what’s it look like?" he shoots back, seemingly also in a broody mood.
Before she could tell him to move the bell rang, and she saw a small victory smirk on his face causing her grip on her pencil to tighten. Wednesday was going to kill him. She turned to scan the room, hoping to find a glimpse of you. She didn't see you, nothing in the room resembled you.
Wednesday turned to Enid, who sat across the room, and stared at her until she understood what the question was. Enid responded with a shrug and mouthing 'I don't know' before turning her attention to the teacher. Where are you?
Wednesday couldn't focus. Xavier's pencil was scraping against his sketchbook too loud, he kept trying to talk to her, and her hands felt cold. You aren't there to absentmindedly draw figures on the back of her hands, she didn't think before she whispered, "Xavier, I'm going to cut out your tongue and feed it to vultures if you don't shut up."
That managed to get him to stop talking to her, instead mumbling to himself about her attitude. The sound of his pencil moving along his sketchbook sounded like nails on a chalkboard, something she would normally ignore, but the sound is too loud for Wednesday. She was on the verge of breaking every single one of his fingers, burning his 'precious' sketchbook, and snapping all of his pencils in half. Now that Xavier stopped talking to her she could hear everyone else, whispering like their conversations are a secret. It made Wednesday clench her jaw and ball her hands into fists, she was mere moments away from cutting everyone's tongue out so she could have some silence.
The bell rang sometime later, signaling the time for her free period. Wednesday immediately gathered her things and stood up, she needed to find you. She was out the door before anyone else, walking swiftly through the halls to where you frequented during your free period. Maybe you're already there. Maybe you're waiting for her.
Her thoughts and strides are cut short when someone calls her name and puts a hand on her shoulder. Yes, Wednesday is going to kill someone today. She turns to find Xavier again, "You must have a death wish," she told him, voice wrapped in displeasure.
"Very funny, Wednesday. Where are you off to in such a hurry?" he inquired, unintentionally antagonizing her.
"That's none of your concern," she replied through gritted teeth, her fingers twitching to wrap around his neck and squeeze the life out of him.
"It kind of is when you ran off before you answered my question," he replies, eyebrows pinched and voice taut with anger.
"Xavier, I do not care about any of your brainless questions. I have somewhere I need to be." She retorts voice laced with venom. She turns and starts walking again only to be stopped again,
"Seriously dude? I just need you to answer one question. What's got you in such a bad mood today, jeez." he's even more irritated now.
The hall is deserted, Wednesday noted. She could kill him now and dispose of the body before anyone noticed either of them are gone. Xavier hardly contributes anything to the school, no one would notice he's missing. Nevermore would be better off without his 'tortured artist' act anyway. If anyone says anything I can just kill them too. I just need to grab my knife and I can dispose of him. If I kidnap him, I could torture him for as long as I want. Try out those torture techniques I learned.
She fixes him with her deadliest glare and in a most threatening voice, "Listen to me carefully, I'm going to make your death the most painful one imaginable and you're going to wish-" she pauses when she feels a familiar weight on her shoulder.
A warmth graces the left side of her body, one that she's grown fond of over a short period. It seems her body just knows it's you without having to look. Wednesday relaxes under your touch almost immediately, all thoughts of murder and Xavier leave her head.
She turns to find your hand resting comfortably on her shoulder, a small smile on your lips. Parts of your face are covered in dirt and you have some small scratches. You're close enough to be in her personal space, but it's still not close enough; not when she's been without you practically all day, but she won't tell you that. In lieu, she'll act angry.
She steps closer to you, eyes losing their murderous gleam, "Where have you been?"
"oh, haha, just around," you reply vaguely, voice soft and tired.
It's not enough, Wednesday decides. Grabbing your hand and dragging you somewhere you're unaware of. You two could hear Xavier yelling something in the background but neither of you care enough to listen to what he had to say.
The only thing on either of your minds is the warmth of the others hand. Neither of you would say anything, but it's pleasant.
Both of you end up in Wednesday's dorm, it's empty since Enid is probably hanging out with some of her friends and Thing is probably trying to steal lotion from the nurses. She sits you down at her desk and grabs her first aid kit, a bottle of water, and some napkins.
"Why weren't you in class earlier?" she asks, breaking the comfortable silence while gently wiping the dirt from your face.
"I was running around in the woods," you reply.
"Why is that a reason to not attend class?" she inquired, wanting to know what was more important than sitting next to her in class.
You don’t reply, there wasn't a specific reason why you were out there. Just wanting to enjoy the nice weather before it got ridiculously cold again.
Wednesday sighs, somewhat miffed by your lack of response, before kneeling down between your legs and taking a dirtied hand in hers. Reaching for the antiseptic,
"How you manage to get so many cuts and bruises is astounding," she says softly as if she's actually amazed.
"you think so?" you ask just as softly.
She merely hums in response, focusing back on your hands. She's thinking about what to say to you. She wants to lecture you about missing class and leaving her by herself with those heathens she calls classmates. Still, you look content. She doesn't want to be the reason that look is ripped from your face.
You don’t flinch when the antiseptic is applied, too focused on Wednesday's face. She appears to be lost in thought, you can't blame her. You hadn't seen her since dinner yesterday, you just wanted to be with her.
It slightly startled you when her eyes met yours, looking down at your hands to realize their clean and patched up. Wednesday is taking in every detail of your face, now all cleaned and patched up by her hands; the thought makes a smile ghost over her face.
The close proximity and the way she's looking at you make your cheeks heat up. Her eyes burning trails on your skin, she's not shy about it either. The heat is spreading all over your body, unconfined to just your cheeks and the tips of your ears. You want to look away, but you can't tear your eyes from her either.
"Don't skip the classes we share," she said, breaking the silence but not breaking eye contact.
"I'm sorry?" your brain is still slightly distracted by her.
"You and I share a couple of classes. Do not skip them again," she said evenly.
"It bothered you that much?" you ask innocently.
"If you want to leave me with those brainless imbeciles, I don’t blame you. I don’t want to be in the same general area as them either. However, it's not a good idea to skip class—"
You stopped listening, your brain is too occupied by how pretty she looks and how close she is. You're aware she's going on a rant and it probably would be a good idea to listen, even if she's just saying unkind things about your classmates, but she hasn't stood up. She's still kneeling between your legs, your hands are still interlocked and your brain is short-circuiting.
You can't help yourself, you lean forward and connect your lips. It's soft and something you wish you could feel every waking moment. This kiss is just as memorable as the first. You pull away quickly, realizing you cut her off. You blink rapidly, trying to regain composure and some coherent thoughts, she does the same. Wednesday forgot what she was scolding you for. Her thoughts are now completely on you.
"Sorry, I didn’t mean to-"
"Again." she cuts you off. You blink owlishly at her, still not completely caught up with everything. She repeats,
"Do that again," you comply this time. Lips moving graciously against one another as if they were made to do this. Your hands find their place on her jaw and the back of her neck, pulling her closer to you. Her hands lightly grab your arms, forbidding you from pulling them away.
Neither of you is sure what time it is, not that either of you cares. Not wanting to leave the others to embrace, no longer caring for class. You pull away after a couple minutes, not wanting things to get too heated when Enid or Thing could come back at any moment. You connect your foreheads and close your eyes, trying to gain control of your breathing.
She looks at you fondly, eyes soft in a way no one but you will get to see. Her admiring is cut short by you, "Take a nap with me?" you ask.
Wednesday mumbles rejections while standing to grab you clean and comfortable clothes. You smile at her, knowing she could never say no to you. After changing she all but pulls you into her bed. She links your pinkies together and covers both of you with her black sheet. Wednesday doesn't have time to think about how her day went before sleep takes over.
------
Enid walks in an hour later to find you two in bed together. She feels brave enough to snap a quick picture to send to you later. She sees your eyes open and looks at her, she mouths a 'thank you' with a large bowing motion. You sleepily smile at her and give her a thumbs up before she quietly rushes out of the room, hoping not to wake her roommate. Yeah, you really do work like a charm.
High risk
“Welcome to the quad!” Wednesday’s blonde new roommate stares, arms open as they step outside.
“It’s a pentagon.” The brunette states matter-of-factly as she looks through the open area of students.
The area full of hormonal teenagers only souring her mood further as some notice her presence and stare in interest as they both step out.
Enid rolls her eyes before turning to the girl. “The whole snarky, goth girl thing might have worked at normie school, but here things are different.” The blonde says with a smile before turning to walk.
“Let me give you a wiki on Nevermore’s social scene.” Wednesday huffs out, keeping her face straight.
“I’m not interested in participating in tribal adolescent cliches.” She replies following after the girl. “Well, then use it to fill your obviously bottomless pit of disdain.”
“There are many flavors of outcast here, but the four main cliques are the Fangs, Furs, Stoners and Scales.” Enid continues as they both continue down the turning hall way.
“Those are the Fangs, AKA vampires.” She gestures to a table full of pale students with sunglasses on, some drinking out of small bags full of red liquid.
They turn their heads at the mention of vampire, a few hissing quietly making Wednesday subtly cringe back at the horrible attempt of a threat.
“Some of them have literally been here for decades.” She finishes making some smirk and nudge at a girl in the middle who rolls her eyes.
“That bunch of knuckle heads are the Furs, AKA werewolves. Like me!” A series out howls are let out at the mention of their name. One jumping on the table in the process.
The boy then jumps off the table and pushes his friend playfully.
Wednesday watches the boy catch himself from falling and let out a loud laugh before he pushes his friend back making him stumble into a nearby table where you sat. The table full of crows on top as you pull crumbs out of a small brown paper bag, dark wings sprawled out as you do so. He slightly trips over your wings and your body stiffens up
A loud hiss like snarl is heard making the boy turn quickly to defend himself from its source.
“And that is Y/N L/N,” the blonde says watching you stand quickly. “What the hell! Are you trying to break some bones?” You ask, teeth bared at the bushy haired boy who too lets out his own growl.
“Maybe you should pick them up from off the floor.” He says baring his teeth at you. “Or maybe you should just watch where you step.” You say angrily, practically hissing at the boy making some of your feathers fluff around.
“I wouldn’t need to watch my step if you kept them where they belong.” He says in an insulting tone which only causes the crows around you to flap their wings and caw around.
Wednesday watched with amusement as you both continued your argument. “Y/N’s clique is.. well, her own. She’s the only one of her kind here, she does tend to hover around the scales though.” The blonde mumbles watching as you step closer toward the boy.
He also takes a step forward, coming nose to nose with you as some of his pack members step up while the others decide to stay down.
At least some of them know better than most not to get in the way of a former angel.
“Back off.” You growl, eyes quite literally darkening to a darker shade of crimson as you glare up at him. His features are a mix of anger and fear as he stares down at you, not knowing what to do or say next at your angry state.
“Why don’t you just go back to hell, it’s where you clearly belong.” He throws another insult making your eyes narrow and dark fist clench.
“Hell is where your going, I’ll make sure of it once I’m done with you.” You say before a gasp from enid could be heard.
Everyone knew angels kept their promises, even if they were banished to the depths of hell.
You were playing a dangerous game, werewolf against angel would leave most of the area destroyed if you decided to play around with him before decided to take the victory.
The silent threat in your eyes is enough to send the group of wolves gathered behind him back to their table, tails between their legs by the sudden change of atmosphere and sudden eerie quietness the crows have.
The boy stares down at you, searching for something even he didn’t know before rolling his eyes and turning on his heels. “I’m starting to see why they kicked you out of heaven.” He throws one last insult before going back to his table, quickening his pace at the sound of your hiss.
Werewolves, always needed to last word or hit. It made your eye twitch and your clenched hand to puncture your palm, drawing a small amount of blood.
Your eyes then suddenly look around the quad, watching as the eyes that were once on you snap away at the sudden eye contact.
Your eyes then land on Wednesday, noticing the way she doesn’t flinch nor look away. Just simply stare back.
You stare for another moment, eyes scanning her over before they slowly go back to their normal color and your feathers lay down from their frenzied state.
“Y/N L/N!” A voice booms through the quad making you flinch and roll your eyes before they land on a teacher in the main doorway. “My classroom, now.” He calls before turning around.
You scoff before marching off after him, the pathway already clearing as students move out of the way.
“She’s not that bad,” Wednesday hears enid says making her eyes snap from the door way to the blonde. “She’s actually really cool once you meet her non-angry side.” She says, a smile on her face at the memories you two had shared.
Wednesday doesn’t react as she continues her way through the hall, the blonde quickly on her heels as she does so.
“Im assuming scales are sirens?” She asks, eager to get this whole interaction over with.
————
The sound of howls echo through the school hallways and any surrounding area keeping most of Nevermore’s residents awake.
Some watching their favorite shows, others having friends over, hell they were even walking around at the late hour. Anything to drown out the consistent sound.
You scowl at the sound yourself and push your wings to flap harder as the air pressure begins to drop making your lungs burn, craving the regular air that it was so used to.
You take another deep breath before passing the cloud line.
You wish you could say you were used to it but that’d just be a lie. The only reason the burn grew was because you were going higher, closer to the place you were specifically locked out of.
It was like a barrier, or rather a cage made by god himself to keep you inside and trapped for eternity.
You wish you could break the barrier and see what it was like. What the feeling would be like in your lungs when you got inside. Would you be able to breath or would your lungs explode like any normal human?
You wished you could find out.
Not that you didn’t try, you did. And you passed out in the process, you were forced to regenerate in hell for a few years after.
Once the burning truly began to hurt you stop, flapping your wings to keep you in your position. The sound of the howls now faded into the back ground.
You look down to see Nevermore through the dense clouds, light barely breaking through them as they pass.
You let out a sigh of relief, the cool air whipping across your face enough to feel like you had just been slapped.
A feeling you liked and were fond of.
It showed the moments before you got to feel the pure bliss of the air blowing past your wings at an alarming rate.
It’s what you craved.
Right before you could let go, you heard another sound.
It was almost louder than the manically barks and howls running through the woods, it sounded far better too.
You crane your ears a little more to hear it better.
Music. You had decided. The sound of different chords getting louder then softer then louder again as it continued on through the song.
It piqued your interest. Yes there were plenty of musically instrument players around the large school but none were quite that good let alone played the Cello.
After making the decision to find the owner, you allow your wings to stop before leaning your head back with a smile on your face.
Your wings — now fully relaxed — float above your body, flapping around mindlessly as the wind blows past you. Clothes ruffling about, hair coming undone and flowing all over the place.
It was peaceful, knowing you would be able to catch yourself and avoid your demise. You could do it all day and never falter.
Wednesday watches thing turn to the last page, he strikes becoming stronger. Encouraged by the thought of finished strong when something catches her eye in the moon and faint light from the school.
She doesn’t allow herself to falter as she finish the piece before looking into the sky.
She sees a figure, falling at an alarming rate from high in the sky. Large wing flying around before straightening out and twisted their owner through the air
They dive into the tree line before she could see anymore and she could only assume who it was. The angry bird she had yet to meet throughout her day in Nevermore, never even getting a glimpse of them.
What a strange sight to see. Not everyone can just fly up and allow themselves to fall. Who in their right mind would?
She would if she could, it seemed like a enjoyable thing to do.
She lets out a sigh before closing her eyes and breathing in the cool air and howling once again echoes through the school once again.
Her brows crease at the noise, it was worse than Enid’s loud pop music she has yet to get used to. Her grip on her Cello tightens slightly when another round of bowls rang through the air.
This is where she found her peace, or was at least before she stopped and the wolves could be heard again.
When she had to clear her mind she would play her Cello, the lines and chords being the only thing on her mind.
After todays events, it’s what she needed.
She lets out another breath when the air suddenly picks up making her shiver very slightly, the cold feeling uncomfortable yet bearable.
The sudden movement of paper and tapping causes Wednesday’s eyes to snap open to be met with a still dark figure hunched over and pirched on her dorm patio railing.
Blood colored eyes piercing into her own.
It was like two Gargoyles staring at each other, both unmoving and unblinking. The other refusing to falter while waiting for the other to.
She took the chance to look at your features more clearly up close in her peripheral view.
Your wings black as night yet sprinkled with white fading feather like stars, blackened skin leading up your forearm before fading into the natural skin color, skin littered with scars in different areas. Hair, wild and untamed while your clothes did the same.
She would have kept inspecting if it weren’t for Thing who slowly crawls from behind her music holder.
You’re eyes snap to him and he almost shrinks back behind it.
“What is that?” You ask, head tilting slightly. The resemblance to a bird being quite exact, Wednesday thought to herself as her eyes shifted between you and Thing.
“That is Thing.” She says, taking offense for him as he sits on her nub and waves.
Your eyes open slightly more as you wave back, clawed fingers wiggling at the him. Your eyes quickly go to a lighter shade of red in the process.
“Cool,” you say watching him jump off and climb up the railing.
You had never seen anything like him, in all your years you had seen every creature created yet nothing like him.
You wondered if the devil himself was the one who created him instead of god.
“A pleasure to meet you, Thing.” You say, reaching out with an open palm. He inspects your hand for a moment, hesitating when seeing your long nails making you chuckle.
You force your nails into the flat ones that humans have and he jumps slightly.
He taps around excitedly turning to Wednesdays then back to you, taking your hand firmly making you laugh.
“Quite the handshake you’ve got.” You say and him tap, unknown to what he was saying before you look back to Wednesday.
“This isn’t your dorm.” She tells you as if it weren’t obvious with the large window to Ophelia hall.
“I know,” you say throwing your legs over the side and allowing yourself to plop down on the railing. “I was just taking a little stroll when I heard you playing.”
“If falling from the sky and almost to your demise is consider a ‘little stroll’ I think I would enjoy that.” Wednesday says, your smile grows giving her the sight of your top fangs.
“Trust me, you would. So,” You start before glancing up to their large window. “The loud and open girl roomed with the new dark and mysterious girl, how unfortunate.” You say, referring to Enid who forced her way into being friends with you.
“Yes it’s insulting, really.” She replies crossing her arms. “The colors burn my eyes, I sometime wish to gauge them out with a spoon every time I enter our room.” She says, remembering how only hours ago she almost strangled the girl and destroyed her music.
You chuckle lightly before looking to your right to see Thing, poking at one of your wings. “I see it now, ‘fallen angel’.” She says referring to what she had witnessed a few moments ago.
“Who would have thought being damned by god himself would be so fun.” You laugh at the irony of the situation, being a fallen angel and enjoying the feeling of falling from the sky.
“You must have done something horrible to do so.” She says and your smile fades.
Your face contorts, subtly. From anger and then to sadness. You didn’t know how to feel about your odd situation.
Your father was the one to do something, you were just a tag along.
“Perhaps,” your head tilts up toward the sky allowing the moon the kiss your skin. “Or maybe someone did it before I could.”
You mumble the last part but Wednesday catches it along with the sadness in your voice as a crow lands next to you.
“Caw!” It screams out making your head look down once again, your smile returning in process.
He perched next to you , head tilting almost upside down as you pull out something wrapped in a brown bag.
“Why were you falling from the sky?” She asks, the question blunt yet not blunt at the same time.
You pull out a lump of bread before breaking a small piece off and hand it to the Crow. He quickly snatches it before jumping a few feet away to eat it.
You chuckle at the sight before humming in response to her question. “I just like a little high risk.” You reply and her heart skips a beat for a moment, too quick for her to question yet doesn’t go unnoticed.
“You must not be fully sane then.” She says and you snort. “You don’t seem like you are either, nor your family from what I’ve heard.” You state before your face falls. “No offense.” You apologize with a small grimace at your own comment.
“None taken, I like to think that a compliment.” If your smile could grow even more than before, it definitely did just now.
You look back down at the bird who jumps back toward you, hopping up and down in excitement. Your eyebrows knit together for a moment, clearly deep in thought before you speak up again.
“I never caught your name.” You say as you take your index and middle finger and rub it down the back of the crow.
“Me or the bird?” She asks seriously making you bark out a laugh. “Crow.” You correct her before he could grow loud in offense by being called a bird. “But you, this is Atticus.” You say and the crow caws out multiple times before settling down again.
“Wednesday.” She says and you nod, humming to yourself before looking toward her away. “How unique for a unique person.” You say, head tilting like the crow next to you.
Wednesday suddenly feels her heart racing at the the sight. Strange.
“I don’t think I caught yours either.” She says watching as Thing and the bird come hand to face on the railing, inspecting each other.
“Y/N.” You say head tilting back once again to look at the sky. “It’s for some reason modern to the year.” You say, eyes full of question as you continue to stare up.
“Tell me, Wednesday,” your eyes once again meeting hers. “Have you ever met an angel?” You ask and she knits her eyebrows together.
“No.” She replies and you nod. “Good, their horrible creatures who should be damned to their own personal cages.” Your voice is suddenly tense and full of hatred as you look up again.
The question confused her, why would you ask that just out of the blue? The question was a random one but you also seemed to be with your sudden appearance.
Before she could ask what you meant the window opens and her bright roommate steps out.
“Oh, hi Y/N! What are you doing here? It’s not Thursday.” She questions as she quickly skips toward you in excitement. “And hello to you too, Atticus!”
The crow caws and hops closer, allowing the girl to scratch under his beak.
You smile at the reference to your weekly manicures the girl gives you. She insisted your long nails were too creepy without any polish and you agreed to allow her to paint them black.
“I was taking a stroll and met your new roommate here.” You tell her and your eyes travel to to Wednesday who continues to sit in her chair.
“Or did you just try and scare her like the rest?” Enid eyes you suspiciously and you raise your hands in defense.
“I would do no such thing.” You smile as the girl rolls her eyes. “You’d be shocked at how unfazed she was, I was sure I would get her.” You grumble, further proving the blondes point.
“I highly doubt that.” Wednesday mutters as she begins collecting her things. You chuckle, glancing toward the woods noticing the sudden silence.
“Well, sounds like your little furry mongrel friends have finally quieted down.” You state standing up in your spot, glaring towards the woods. “I think I’m gonna go up one more time before bed.”
“Okay, have a good night! Don’t fly too high.” She replies with much enthusiasm about your nightly routine and you smile. “I will. Goodnight,” your eyes then travel to Wednesday and you smile even bigger. “Goodnight, Wednesday.”
Her heart continues to race, the feeling very different from beating of fear. That she enjoyed, this feeling she did not.
Quick, angry sounding taps are heard next to you and you chuckle. “Goodnight to you too, Thing.” You laugh before leaning back and letting yourself fall.
Atticus caws a few times before following after you into the air.
A/N: definitely imagined this song while falling in your circumstance of being a fallen angel
Your Dating Someone Else
Wednesday: If someone else were to have a crush on her intended love interest, she would first survey them, then devise a plan to eliminate them. This could be as simple as talking to them and making them like her instead, to something extreme like murdering them. It is truly a sliding scale of options.
Enid: She feels like her heart's broken into a million pieces when her crush does not reciprocate her feelings. She tries to process the information and look at the situation realistically, but she can't help but feel hurt and sad, knowing that her feelings aren't reciprocated. Even if she knows that there are plenty of fish in the sea, it's always difficult when someone she likes doesn't feel the same way.
Xavier: When his crush's attention and affection are directed towards someone else, he feels a mix of emotions—heartbreak, jealousy, and regret being among them. It is difficult to sit by and watch you give your affections to someone else, especially someone who may not treat you as well as he would have. He finds himself wondering if there was something more that he could have done or said to make you fall for him and what would have changed. He may also hold onto a shred of hope that you might eventually come around to appreciate him in the way that he appreciates you, but this hope is often accompanied by sadness and frustration.
Rowan: In response to his crush liking someone else, he would feel deeply disappointed, hurt, and rejected. He would be overwhelmed with feelings of anguish, sadness, and loneliness. He would feel as if it was his fault that you liked someone else rather than him. He would go through waves of self-doubt and think that there was something wrong with him, making it difficult for him to overcome his negative thoughts and emotions. Ultimately, he would need some time to process his emotions and hopefully move past this difficult situation.
Tyler: If he found out his crush liked someone else, he would definitely feel sad and hurt. It would be difficult to hear that he wasn't the person you desired and that someone else had stolen your heart. He would probably distance himself from you for a while to give himself time to process the situation and figure out how to move on.
Ajax: If you like someone else, he would feel a mix of disappointment, jealousy, and sadness. He would be disappointed that his feelings aren't reciprocated, jealous that the other person has captured your attention, and sad that he can't be the one to make you happy. He would respect your choices and try to move on with his life, but it might be a while until he can fully let go of his feelings and truly move on.
Bianca: If her crush were to like someone else, she would be heartbroken and jealous. She would feel sad, angry, and betrayed. She might even think that she wasn't good enough or wasn't your type anymore. She would probably wonder what she did wrong and maybe even blame herself. Over time, she would accept it and try to move on, but it would be difficult.
Wednesday teacher au.
Ive been watching too much Abbot Elementary and I’m obsessed with Wednesday so we are combining it.
Idea- Wednesday is new English teacher at Nevermore after getting kicked out of her last school. During her first months of teaching some of the students disappeared so she decides to solve the mystery behind their disappearances. With the help of Enid her neighbor and colleague, Wednesday would play detective while trying to keep her job and uncovering the history of Jericho and Nevermore.
Wednesday
-English teacher
-Still an author just that she saw that there was a growing number of illiterate people in America so she decided to partake in the “horrible education of the English language”. It’s her first year at Nevermore after she attacked a fellow teacher in her last school. Morticia and Gomez got her the job with Weems.
-Both Enid and Wednesday are dorm mothers of Ophelia hall, in this universe Ophelia hall is the biggest dorm so it’s divided between West and East Ophelia. Enid is the West Ophelia dorm mom and Wednesday is the East Ophelia dorm mom. They live in the dorms, their rooms are right next to each other.
Enid
-yearbook teacher and social studies.
-Has a degree in politics and sociology. She is a government teacher with a little bit of culture and history of outcast sprinkle in there, she also does the yearbook (this mirroring her gossip blog). This is her 2 year, she used to work in California but she left after she refused an arranged marriage to a pack member. She left her pack after something inside her telling her she is needed somewhere with other people, other packs. (I’m basically making her wolf tell her she needs to be gay somewhere else where Wednesday is)
Bianca
-PE teacher, coach for fencing and swimming.
-She does a lot of sport classes like fencing and swimming, etc. she also coaches the fencing and swimming teams. This is her 3rd year too. She has won best teacher of the year for all the 3 years so she is the most popular and loved teacher, one would say the queen bee of the teachers. She wants to become the future principal of Nevermore. She is also a dorm mom.
-Wednesday and Bianca have fake beef because both of them want to become the future principal, so they constantly fight over who is better.
Yoko
-History
-She got bored being a student at Nevermore so she went to college and became a history teacher just to yap about her gossip from different decades. It’s her 3rd year working there. She is married to Divina, they fell in love their first year teaching and pretty much u-hauled that relationship, like the good lesbians they are.
Xavier
-art teacher
-Hates being a teacher, but it gives him a steady income while he pursuits art. Just like in the show he and Bianca dated, they started dating their first year of working there but broke it off during the summer before the 3rd year.
Tyler
-Normie and outcast relationships
-I felt it would be ironic he is a bigoted racist killer who happens to teach about the history and culture between Normies and Outcasts.
Eugene
-Animal teacher
-He teaches about mythological animals as well as normal animals, from history to anatomy of them. He is obsessed with werewolves and does try to hit on Enid. This is his first year teaching. He is the club advisor of the bee keeping club.
Ajax
-Health teacher
-Did some hard drugs in college and decided he would instead teach kids not to do drugs or anything bad he did. He did not give up on weed so he goes to work high sometimes, most of the time, he is surprisingly good at convincing kids not to do drugs though. They call him Mr D for dude.
Divina
-Biology teacher
-Married to Yoko. Idk what else.
Kent
-Custodian
-He just works there.
