Sorry there’s been no posts this week, classes have started up again, so as you can imagine I’m exhausted and have a lot less free time. I’ve been using most of my free time to read JJK, ngl.

Imagine being a magical tattoo artist, something like a seal maker. You do large complex and beautiful pieces, but you hide different seals and protection markers inside the patterns. It keeps the real purpose of the tattoo a secret, but is also pretty to look at.

John already has tattoos in the hellblazer comics, but imagine you giving him different ink. Something a lot less obvious and more attractive.

It makes him pass as a hot blonde British guy covered in a lot of fancy ink, instead of some brit with lotsa weird cult looking tattoos.

John becomes one of your most common customers, mainly because a lot of the tattoos you put on him disappear after the seals been used, since its all defense and storage. He might also use it as an excuse to see you more, so he can flirt.

John being John, would get a tattoo right above his crotch, think like a reverse tramp stamp, or a succubus tattoo, just so he can have you sitting between his thighs as he gives his flirting his all.

You definitely end up railing him within an inch of his life in the tattoo chair, tsking and “punishing” him for straining the tattooed area too much, and “messing up your work” when he writhes too much.

In the beginning its just a friends with benefits situation, something like a “happy ending” you might say. John wouldn’t be someone to do relationships for the most part, since most of the ones he’s been in haven’t ended great.

He subconsciously also wouldn’t want to paint a target on your back, since hes always involved with all kinds of stuff. But he cant help but always find himself back with you, getting some new seal inked onto his skin.

And if every visit ends up with him bent over the tattoo chair, or down on his knees to “thank you”, then who will judge him.

John would end up finally acknowledging his feelings when you save him from his big bad of the week, using your complex and intricate tattoos to pull out weapons and spells, and later seal the being that’s after him.

Its hard to deny how he feels after that, and though he wouldn’t put it into words, he would act differently. Like just showing up at your parlor to spend time with you without getting anything done, or sending you little protection charms or trinkets.

At some point you guys just start kissing and acting like a couple, without actually putting a name to it. It’s a dangerous life you both live, and words mean everything, so you never tell anybody you guys are lovers, since that would make the target on you both even bigger.

It doesn’t keep you guys from pretty much living together and acting all domestic, or being completely exclusive to just each other. John turning down all advances made on him confuses people in the beginning, until they just come to accept it.

John ends up with even more tattoos, these a lot more complex than average useable seals. These are the kinds that you have spent your entire life developing, and had only used on yourself because they’re that powerful.

The league are knocked back by how powerful his spells have become, and how much damage he can withstand. Only other magic users with the knowledge know just how amazing his tattoos are. He never tells them where he got them, just because he’s an ass.

You end up helping out more with his business, and he ends up being free advertisement for your parlor. Of course, no one gets tattoos like you or John, you would never give a possible enemy that kind of power, but it helps pad your pockets quite a lot.

John’s enemies end up targeting you as well, but they’re easily dealt with for the most part.

He ends up getting teased be friends and allies that he’s getting soft and domestic, cuz he doesn’t go out to bars like before, and wants to be home in time to watch a movie with you, or just go to sleep together.

He ends up a lot less stressed too, since you rock his world whenever he needs it, and become someone he can let down his defenses and just be vulnerable with.

In the end he probably gets pavloved to get in the mood when you tattoo him, or he hears the noise of the tattoo gun. John always blames you for making him this way, because you always go down on him after giving him new ink, not that he’s complaining.

can we js take a moment and talk about how flawless the way you present the whole comic is

like,,, theres always such a good ratio between humor and angst throughout the whole thing and the feelings each individual character goes through after every single event happening is more than accurate. for example, someone already pointed out how you allowed casey to feel sorrow and actually have a beef with one of the turtles from the present instead of making him forget all about his own timeline because the turtles from the present are 'the same people, just younger' (absolutely LOVED the way casey said 'maybe he was a version of you, but you are not him and these arent yours'. there is so much to say about that and you worded it in the best way possible). another thing to point out is that you make sure to not let the turtles, and any one who also appears in the show for that matter, get out of character and manage to think of the right thing they would say or do in certain situations. ive seen people do that with a lack of accuracy, including myself, but you just do it in such an amazing way and make it seem so easy.

one last thing id like to mention which is already pretty much obvious is that you always make sure the comic is entertaining for the reader to go through, never once have i read the comic and went like 'okay whatever idc what happens here can we go on with the next ep' which is honestly amazing. also when the opportunity arises, you never hesitate to leave us hanging after an update, which obviously does nothing but intrigue the reader and let them develop a biger passion/interest for your comic

Time seems to be more calm, the last update he was at the verge of screaming (to shut them all? to call for help to control all these links? who knows) now he looks very thoughtful, taking in every detail of the whole place to see if he can get some sort of puzzle solved

This question i feel like it has more impact that it looks at first, a lot of people are pointing out the little owl friend we saw at the first doodles of the AU, yeah the owl in oot was a yapper in all rule, but he was some sort of guidance during his journey

Twilight connects the owls to Shad, a guy who has a lot of knowledge and can help him at any moment if he needs some sort of information, Four remembers the owl that helped the colors during his second adventure, and Legend connects the owls to the statues in Koholint, together with the owl that gave him hints to where he had to go

Here it is made clear the point that i was talking before: Time recognizes that even if, for a kid, it was just an anoying bird, he helped him in some sort of way, and he should appreciated that small detail

putting that joke aside, Hyrule seems to be more careful inside a dungeon, sure he can try and explore all he wants outside, but he knows very well the dangers of a dungeon, and he would like to no take any risk that could put them in danger while he can help it

I love the continuity of the comic, we all knew these were the same statues as the one that Twi used to separate them from Sky, but seeing it being portrayed in the comic is a detail that i think we all appreciate

Also them all ready to defend their vet, yeah it might not be fully dangerous, but they will show no mercy to whatever dares to hurt one of them (a silent promise that they all made with the Twilight situation)

Time's attention is instantly gained with the mention of a Fairy, he doesn't sees too much of his friends in that thing, and that gives him a bad feeling of why the name

i could easily do a well thought comment on how he's magical girl material but i think with only that description enough was said

Only with the thought of one of his fairy friends having such destiny makes Time be disgusted, a Fairy turned into an enemy? Doesn't sound right, it isn't natural and just cruel for the poor fairy

also Wind was ready to catch her, he knows how valuable are fairies during a dungeon, you never know when you will need her help

Warriors during his adventure he made friends with the fairies, so he obviously will have something for her

he's like a mom who knows her children very well and will carry any treats for them, not beating up the mom/aunt of the group allegations

and Wind give the poor fairy some time before entering the bottle, she must be confused :(

to get more to the actual point, im watching crow callers video on the lightlark sequel and it made me go like. why do these kinds of color-by-numbers ya romances and their badboy romantic leads so continuously tear down the protags agency in a way thats framed as desirable? like why is it considered appealing when the guy pressures the girl to wear something way more revealing than shes comfortable with? why does the protag keep getting into these like almost comically uncomfortable sounding sexual situations by complete accident? most of all, what is the reader supposed to get out of this?

and like i think my Game Theory here is that these books' audience is mostly girls and young women who are interested in intimacy but also kind of terrified and at least a little ashamed of it, so the fantasy of a kind of intimacy that happens against-their-will-but-not-really and therefor makes them blameless for their enjoyment of it is highly appealing.

part of me feels like i should find that more messed up than i do, and i suppose i do sometimes, but mostly it hits me in the way of like figuring out how eating candy triggers your brain to make more dopamine. is it healthy? probably not always. certainly not if its the only thing you consume. but i cant rly begrudge ppl wanting to feel happy even its through mildly unhealthy means. i too enjoy feeling happy every now and again believe it or not.

boyfriend (and myself) obs from earlier today because its been a while!

job obs this time around!! my boyfriend and i are in university, but we also work a part-time job together. (a little corny, i know that, but we happen to like being around each other, ok?)

just in case you missed my lore post and were curious for reasons, he is studying nursing and i am studying mortuary science and biochemistry; we are both part-time managers at the cinemas together as well

now, to the good stuff…

he and another one of our coworkers were making pizzas and i was a few feet away at the air fryer when i heard him ask the coworker, “can you hold this for a sec?” as he pushed the ladle he was using towards him. he looked a tad confused and went “hm?” to which my boyfriend tells him, “i have to sneeze.”

naturally, now, im tuned in all the way

he typically isnt a loud sneezer so i was kind of (pleasantly) surprised when i clearly heard him gasp before he sneezed from like six feet away

he has what i would consider a pretty cute sneeze, always with the chiew! or shiew! at the end but this time around, it was reminiscent of a cough-ish-sounding sneeze? but not to the point where it was not attractive (to me) or that it didnt sound like a sneeze or anything; it was just harsh and sounded like one syllable, instead of soft and more drawn out like his sneezes usually are

if i had to try to spell it, it would be something like, “ahihSHH!” one of those sneezes where you can just hear it fucking hurt the persons throat

the coworker that was holding the ladle immediately started laughing and said, “jesus christ, dude!” so, he was definitely expecting a smaller sneeze too. me and two other workers in the kitchen yelled bless you, he yelled back thank you and glared at our coworker, pretending he was mad at him for laughing

i have never heard him sneeze like that before, so i am guessing some ingredient in the kitchen got to him? and i cant think of the last time that i heard him announce his sneezes either, he does it sometimes (but its typically when there is a lot of other people around, for some reason)

a customer mustve had cat hair on their clothes (which is a fairly common experience) and i was sneezing and my makeup was running comically for like an hour after (already aforementioned in posts earlier today) 😭

i sneezed like 30 times spaced out across the hour (which is a lot for me sneezing wise because i didnt take any allergy medication 😭 i usually do but i dont like to take it then drive so i occasionally forget. i took some after this lol)

my boyfriend blessed me or put his hand on my back every time he was around along with another friend/coworker of ours who gets a kick out of my sneezing fits. lots of things make me sneeze so everyone is used to it happening by now and theyre allowed to make fun of me a little

snzfucker without mental block seems like it should be an oxymoron, but i have no problem sneezing in public. im so used to it that even with the fetish, its never made me too uncomfortable. unless its like a situation that anyone would be uncomfortable sneezing in (quiet room, important conservation etc)

I can't do a traditional pro cons list because I can't think of a thing I would have wanted different, outside of topics I cant "review" of course (more on this later). However before we get too far I need to lay out the setting so you know what you are getting into! This is a graphic novel about magic realism set in 1930s Mississippi. It follows women (and two girls) of color and their attempt to make cash doing illegal broom racing to make their lives, well easier for one, but also safer.

This isnt a utopia, magic is woven into the racism of the era. No slurs are used but subtle racism is depicted. There is a hierarchy of legality of who can use magic and what kind. It's a underdog story of solidarity and love, it has that "one last job and we retire" energy. While the young girls learn to harness their magic the police patrol, they are supported by a type of found family along side their blood family.

There is a happy ending I will at least spoil that much.

The blending of era and magic is lovingly crafted. For instance one character, Loretta, works as a laundress, she, like a lot of women in the time and place struggle with money and finds work where she can. Magic here isn't like the cheat code for easy living, she cant just magic the cloths clean and mended. It's a muscle to train and partner with not a deus ex eject button for every little thing. Each character reveals so much yet so little of themselves to us and there is an epiloge of sorts that delights the mind to want more of these characters. So I guess my point is, yes magic but also hardships and I've never seen it done like this before.

So all that said let me pull back on all the other things about this story and answer the question...

Hows the fat rep?: The characters come in many sizes, Loretta seems to be the biggest of her friend group. Her weight is never mentioned, no jokes about how a fat person could ride a broom! She's got a loving husband (no jokes about the size difference!) Billie Mae is the second biggest of the main cast perhaps more musclar than fat but is distinct imo in body shape and build and its my review so...she's different from Loretta, Lor is femme leaning and Billie is butch and here too there are no jokes it's simply a part of her design, shes the only woman on the team to wear pants. There are background and unnamed fat characters! You'd be suprised how hard that is to find.

This is very much a situation where weight is not brought up, it exists as a thing and thats it. And I appreciate that because fat peoples lives shouldn't be all about our weight, we deserve to exist with hobbies and interests and jobs.

Additionally: You might have seen that trend where people list off rep of a book and don't even mention the plot? Well I hope my introduction was enough to cover story and such because this comic has: visible and invisible disability rep, sapphics, a trans main character, and remember how I gushed about unnamed characters? There's also physical disabilities. The attention to detail while designing otherwise nameless characters is appreciated.

My limits as a reviewer:

I can't say if there good enough representation for Black women btw. For me this was obvious but I'm adding it just in case.

A main character is Deaf and due to the limitations of the medium the artist and writer had to imply signs. Consideration for the eye line of this character is given, she will bump and nudge people to turn towards her so she can read lips. I cannot say if this is a good compromise or not.

The issue of cultural appropriation could be had. It is mentioned that the author worked with the language experts from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, and in story residential schools are mentioned and briefly depicted. Was this respectful or enough research I cannot say.

You mighy find additional concern with the trans rep, it is mentioned that an outside source was consulted to bring authenticity. Related, a person was consulted about the Cantonese depicted. Was this enough I cannot say.

Individuals will each have their own feelings about own voices vs researched stories. There's no one perfect answer but I can only provide the info that's in the book to help you make informed decisions.

For me, a common theme in your art is that it often depicts people going about their lives in every day situations. I know this seems odd for a ff14 account, but I mean more like you focus more in depicting "real" dynamics between people. Like I could run into them having a conversation at walmart or something. It's familiar in a way that isn't, for the lack of better words, sanitized? Your comic about Toriel passing on Hepatitis to Asriel is a comic that will be forever ingrained in my mind because of how it depicted the situation naturally and with care. Not to say that depicting hard situations is the only way your art comes off as "real", because that one ff14 art where its like "piss so hard so the hoes know my pussy grips like a rottweiler" is also real to me. Does that make sense? It feels unvarnished or painted over. You draw art about things no one really focuses on but happens every day in our lives. I genuinely hope what I'm trying to say comes through.

100% i hear you loud and clear anon i totally get you and i really like hearing this.... definitely one of the things ive strived for in my art and i think part of it is because i kind of have just mundane ideas compared to like super stylish composition pieces full with symbolism. not in a bad way my entire art endeavours have been built on ''i cant really draw those really cool poster type pieces but i can draw a character smoking a cigarette in a closet'' and just recognizing this is what i love the most. i want to make the art of what happens between the big moments of storylines where everyone is just sort of standing around scratching their ass or playing peggle on the phone so it means the world to me to know my art comes off like this....... will put this away in my brain as i crank out where i wanna go from here with things thank you so much for you inpout anon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its embarrassing to talk about this but more than one person has brought it up since i said it: a while back i mentioned that its hard for me to read or receive compliments. this in itself is a statement that should elicit groans, eye-rolls and jerking off motions bc its more often then not a means of fishing for compliments without wanting to be seen as the kind of crass bum wants something for nothing. please believe me when i say its not this lol.

the way i mentioned it doesnt get the situation across and i havent see people discuss this outside of like revolution-era russian literature: compliments about my work causes a sensation like getting stabbed in the gut with a hot knife. i did not have comments on "a ghost story" from 2013 until 2020 out of fear of inviting that sensation into my life on purpose. also because it felt egomaniacal but thats a different kettle of fish lol. mostly its because it genuinely hurt physically enough that i didnt want to.

i've been trying to take some of the drama out of trying to explain this stupid problem for the last few days (and most of my life) because it's ridiculous lol. its inherently irrational and feeling like nice comments are METAPHORICALLY KILLING ME over a web comic where a ghost blows his penis off with a firecracker should get one laughed off the internet. i dont really want to hear anyone argue to the contrary because we need to accept this baseline of reality lol. and its not EVERY comment. there are specific comments i cant look at on my blog from when i left hive bc they caused it so bad

it feels like someone grabbing a nerve in my gut and pulling it like they're trying to close a window shade. it feels bad. it hits something that instantly activates embarrassing and confusing tears from the sensation. i am so appreciative that most of the comments i get have turned out to be jokes, speculation, kind remarks that dont come with the pain.

summary: after hooking up with jordan right before the summer you are trying to navigate how to be friends with the only person you've ever loved.

The campus used to be so much more intimidating during my first year, but over the course of my first year it became so small. As I made my way through the herd of freshmen looking for their dorms, pushing and shoving into each other trying to make it to my own room. With all the chaos around me, I feel my face make contact with another girl's face. I pull back a bit to put some  distance between us, to get a better look at her face. The first day is always brutal in these hallways, so expect to kiss a few strangers, good thing i happened to kiss a cute one at least” she started to blush uncontrollably. “ I’ll hold you to that” you wave her off heading toward the staircase once again.

After settling into your dorm, you decide to head to the indoor training gym, assuming everyone would be out on the field watching golden boy. The freshmen were always obsessing over him. The gym was quiet so you decide to work on your agility and endurance, running over the same drills repeated enjoying the complete silence except for your heavy breathing. You were so zoned in you didn’t even notice Jordan standing next to your target practice, almost blasting into him. “Fuck dude, I could’ve seriously hurt you.” They looked  at me smugly, “Not with those weak blasts, I think I'll be just fine.” You turn away from them and try to get back to your training. “ you’ve been avoiding me, and i know you are going to say that you haven’t but I know that its not just all in my head because every time we had planned to meet up over the summer you were magically busy or something came up, yet you had time to hang out with everyone else except for me.”  you stop in your tracks and turn to face them. “ first off I’m not avoiding you, just wanted to give us both a bit of space, a cooling period if you will. I had to for both our sakes because nothing like that can ever happen again, you know that right?” “ what I know is that we hooked up, so what, its not that big of a deal and we can move past it can’t we? You are my best friend, i wouldn’t want to do anything to mess that up, but its a lot harder to have a friendship when it feels like you are a thousand miles away.” Jordan moves in closer holding out there hands for you to hold. In their female form their hands are almost the same size as yours, you hesitantly interlock their fingers with yours. You thought that with 3 months away from Jordan your feelings would have settle but the moment your hands made connect all you could think about was the warmth radiating from their body and what you do to be wrapped up in them once again. “ I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be so distant just needed the time and space to sort somethings out, because you are one of Andre’s bestfriends before you are mine and it would just be so selfish of me to not only ruin our friendship but also yours and Andre’s. I had to think and I do love being your friend but not exactly sure how to do that right now without it being awkward. It will take me a moment to adjust, so just give me some time.” Jordan was looking at you so intensely that you felt your insides turning, under their stare you became a nervous mess, the butterflies in your stomach were erupting. So you stepped back breaking the eye contact and letting go of their hand as if the closeness to them might lead to you doing something stupid again so instead you choose to break the tension. “ do you want to train with me? I could use some help” “ I would but I’ve got to go catch up on some work for Brink, how about we meet up tomorrow at like 8pm in here, the gym should be empty” you start to panic, you could not under any circumstances be alone in a room with Jordan motherfucking Li, it simply could not happen. You knew you would mess up and you would mess up big time. “ could we do 6 pm instead? I’ve got dinner with the family tomorrow” you said lying through your teeth. “ yeah I guess 6 is alright” they say as they head for the door, waving you off. You fall onto the mat, laying there for a second and all you could think was fuck I’m screwed.

Faba Headcanons (mainly past)

Just wanted to get some headcanons down for my imaginations of Fabas Past and random HCs for my Story. (⚠WARNING⚠ . There are a lot of different sensitive topics that are not suited for everyone so please stay safe)

If you see any weird writing mistakes or bad wording, I am sorry :") I easily do typos without noticing and English isnt my first language

-Faba comes from a very unloving home where nothing he did was ever good enough for his parents. When he did well it was just accepted but never acknowledged. When he did mistakes on the other hand he was mostly treated like the scum of the family. But Child Faba still wanted to do his best and make his parents happy even if it was all in vain.

-Petrel and Faba are brothers in this Story, but unlike Faba, Petrel was sick of getting treated like trash, got connections to Team Rocket through the Internet, stole some money and left the Alola Region to join Team Rocket where he was atleast worth something. Their parents didnt care and only used this situation to put Faba under even pressure. "Do your best. You dont want to end up as a criminal as your brother, dont you??" (Faba did crime in the future anyway. yay. Also cant wait for Faba and Petrel to meet again)

-Faba has actually a very bad immune system, is often sick, can't do sports well and is exhausted quite easily. (But his parents didn't care and still forced him to do well and go over his limits)

-Since Faba didnt got any love from anyone, had no friends in school since he was always just the awkward silent depressed kid, he cried pretty often and wished to just shut his head off. After meeting his Drowzee he sometimes asked it to use hypnosis on him so he would fall asleep and stop thinking about how little he is worth. (I have an Angst Comic Idea for this where Adult Faba gets a Flashback of this and jdhufb my heart is aching already because it will be sad but cute in the end)

-He met his Drowzee during a school break in middle school. Some classmates were playing with their Pokemon, while Faba didnt had a single one and was just watching while eating a little. But then a Drowzee came out of nowhere and most of the kids suddenly screamed that theres an evil Pokemon attacking them. They attacked the Drowzee out of fear (because we all know what Drowzee and Hypno are known for), making the Drowzee run away. But..Faba noticed it looked very sad as it left. So Faba walked after it and found it hiding under a tree. The Drowzee panicked once it saw the child and put its little arms protectively over its head. Faba did nothing and let the Drowzee realise that he doesnt want anything bad. This made the Pokemon turn around slowly and saw that the human was offering a little of his food to him, which it happily ate after hesitating a little. Faba took a seat next to the Drowzee, comforting it a bit more and realised it only wanted to play with the other people and pokemon but got treated badly because it was a Drowzee. They quickly became friends and met in nearly any school break until Faba catched it. (I also really wanna draw this as Comic REEEEE)

-Fabas narcissism became a thing after getting to know Drowzee. His first and only friend he ever had. That Pokemon gave him something to fight for in his life but the neglect and ab*se that his parents made him go through nearly every day made it very very difficult. So he started to love himself forcefully and take pride in the things he can do well. At the beginning he could only be prideful of his intelligence but over many many years he became proudful in everything and threw the blame always on someone else when a mistake happend. He became blind by his forceful and fake pride and wanted to proof himself and others that he is a great mastermind...AND THEN DID A BUNCH OF ILLEGAL THINGS LIKE THE POKEMON EXPERIMENTS AND SO ON...YAY!! (Idiot //affec)

-He and his nowadays Hypno are very very loyal to each other. Hypno does literally anything he says. Hypno is also VERY overprotective of Faba since it doesnt want anyone to hurt him as in the past. Colress had a tough time getting its trust but after a long while Hypno knew he could trust Colress.

-Faba is super well with Pokemon that get easily judged and are very feared since he got always ignored and outcasted too

-After Faba was forgiven he actually got hit by depression, a huge amount of guilt, waves of flashbacks and an eating disorder (that he all hides behind acting prideful and acting fine as nothing ever happend). This happend because he couldnt accept that his co-workers were so nice to him and let him stay in the Aether Foundation. Realising the crimes he did because of his Narcississm remembered him that his parents were always right- He is actually just a nothing, a loser that only does mistakes, a scum that actually should just disappear from earth.

-I like the headcanon that Faba does Drag so I add it here too. With the only difference that the Faba for my Story stopped doing it after getting hit with depression and Anorexia. He became unhealthyly thin and rather worked while forgetting/ having no urge to eat. It made him think that his body is very unpleasant and stopped having fun with drag. Thanks to Colress he will start living healthier again slowly and by time, hopefully, show him his love for drag again.

In conclusion he was a very depressed unloved man but thanks to USUM Colress`s Sweetness he will slowly be okay <3 he needs hugs. a lot.

I just think the au premise is bad on the face of it... Just bc its 'supposed' to be a swap au doesnt mean thats a good thing. Why do u feel the need to justify a decision like that when u criticize people for supporting Kittycorn? I'm sorry for implying u werent disabled, but even being disabled doesnt mean u cant be ableist or support ableist people. It just feels like u people are so desperate to hate on Kittycorn and support literally anyone else that ull support someone whos actually problematic....

I'm just trying to look out for u guys, ok? It can be dangerous to give the wrong people a platform. I don't want this to be one of those situations. Especially since u guys seem to want to isolate urself from others and stuff. Just think about it more, ok? If someone made an au of u where u werent disabled would u be ok with that? I really don't think so.

Please don't act like you're trying to "look out for me" when just moments ago you were calling me ableist and saying that I'm not disabled enough.

You do not know me. Do not try to psychologize me. I don't care if anything you did was in good faith, because NONE of that was okay to say. I am aware that I can still be ableist, but instead of talking about the actual ableism in the main comic you came to me to complain that some random creator was being ableist by erasing disabilities (which they didn't, by the by. The only ones that were removed were the ones that would NOT allow the patients to be staff at all. TUC would not help with being a nurse, whatsoever.) Jay still has dwarfism, Barry still has a weak immune system, Polly still uses its cane, Hemera still bleeds. They are being treated for the conditions that they can be, which is why Hemera's bleeding isn't as much of an issue; the reason it is in the main comic is because she is not getting treatment for it.

A character's disability not affecting every single part of their life does not make them less disabled. Despite what Kc shows in kits comic.

Also, you have to remember that these are fictional characters, okay? That's like saying that people can't make headcanons for characters that go against canon because it would be weird to do so to real life people. And it would be! But these are characters. These are not real people. And I don't "support literally anything else", I'm actually critical about my other interests as well. I like taking things apart and analyzing them, that doesn't go just for sc.

One thing I noticed is that Gwen was genuinely afraid of her father.

When her father shows up her spider sense kind of goes crazy like she seemed genuinely scared to a point where I genuinely thought she was expecting someone/something else when I was watching it.

And her immediate response was to try and use her web shooter, but not to get away. The angle she was shooting and the way the scene went meant she probably wanted to web up his gun/hand's.

Obviously the reason this Captain Stacy has an issue with spider woman is because he is genuinely convinced that she killed Peter Parker and it was a crazy looking situation he found them in but keep in mind the whole building was absolutely totaled at this point and the reason he even had to show up was because of a villain attack and he had no evidence at all.

Also Peter looked like he got hit by a bus or something there's no way that spider woman (who wasn't armed) did all that, she probably did contribute to some/most of his injuries but she didn't kill him and I stand by that.

Miles dad also thought he killed the prowler in the first movie for obvious reasons , it was a very sketchy scene but in the second movie it's all good because obviously spiderman couldn't do that because uncle Aaron was dressed like a super villain and literally got shot.

But this isn't just a astv thing, the beef between spidy and the police happens in almost every adaptation/comic. in other adaptations Captain Stacy / the chief of police is always READY to shoot Spider-Man , it's not a crazy thing because spiderman is a fugitive and bffr it's the police but like he was essentially only had a real chance of shooting at spiderman when he's literally beat tf up, shot, cant defend himself and that is the only times you really see captain Stacy himself going after spiderman. Miles father is probably one of the only ones that didn't seem like he was going to try and kill, shoot, or even really go after (Peter Parker) spiderman even though he didn't like him.

But back to the main point, he then finds out that it's Gwen but instead of thinking that "hey maybe I shouldn't try and kill my unarmed daughter that can't get away, she probably wouldn't kill her one and only friend like that" he planned to shoot her point blank, his daughter. And even if it wasn't her shooting someone who's unarmed and probably injured because of a theory with no evidence is crazy work. And her hands were up too so he was really just shooting to shoot.

And then when she comes back to their house she instinctively webs up the plushie he was holding because she thought it was a gun.

Now let's let's talk about Andrew Garfields spiderman, because that Peter Parker is the most similar to Gwen's and Gwen is similar to that Gwen Stacy etc. in the first movie Andrew is trying to stop the lizard after warning captain Stacy directly and you know what this 🥷🏾 does, he has a whole swat team going after spiderman and he gets shot and he is just on the floor in pain BEGGING for them to let him go so he can stop the lizard and still Captain Stacy had his glockiana in his face and like MULTIPLE sniper's and officers with assault riffles and the only reason he let him go was because he took his mask off.

Gwen Stacy knows about Andrew Garfields spiderman because they had to of told her about canon event's and that her father was going to die, so it's not to crazy to assume that she might know about that interaction or atleast parts of it.

All that to say that when she went back she went with the knowledge that if she was peter Parker and not herself, he probably wouldn't of tried to shot when she took the mask off. And she seemed genuinely sad when they showed a Peter crying about his Gwen but it was clear that she had seen it before so it's not to crazy to make the assumption that she would of found out

Sorry I don't know if you have answered this before, but how you think in a3 the reveal of Spi saving Quaritch is gonna go? Also what Spider gonna do when they find out?

Cause i think its either, he's gonna feel so guilty that he just lets anything coming to him happen (wheter it's getting attacked, insulted, yelled at, exiled...), because he feels like he deserves it.

Or, just get angry and lash out ( like all the neglect and shitty things he's been through at some point have to build some sort of resentment or bitterness inside him)

Because how did they not expect that he was gonna get Stockholm Syndrome with him when he's the first adult to actually care about him ( in Quaritch's own twisted way) and saved him not once but twice, when everybody else just left him to die.

And Spider saying something along the lines of: why did Jake get forgiven when he literally help with the destruction of hometree, and I just commited the crime of existing, its not my fault who my parents are, i cant fucking help it, i dont need to be reminded everyday.

This is a hard question, because it's so hard to predict the exact situation that will go down. Will the entire Sully family be there, will he tell just Kiri or Lo'ak, will he tell Jake, will they find out from Quaritch returning- a ton of options that affect the various reactions in a ton of ways.

My best guess, based just on how I think James structures his scripts, I think that they won't find out until the very end of the movie when confronted with actual Quaritch. That's my guess. I think we'll then find out he already told Kiri offscreen, I don't think they'll show us. It gives us a chance for a new antagonist for Jake to work with for the majority of the film in Vaarang, and it gives Quaritch the time to rebuild (and most likely do character building shit that's gonna make more people simp for him annoyingly) until he comes in at the end and does something really unforgivable that solidifies that choice directly in front of Spider. It's your Anakin massacring the tusken raiders moment.

If these were my scripts, that is where I would kill Neteyam, and I would have Quaritch do it. You build on his possible arc from the previous movie and then it's all the more crushing when he does something he can't come back from in the audience's eyes (child killing and animal abuse being those things audiences don't forgive). But we don't have to talk about how if James consulted me I could have made this shit better. We don't have to kidnap children to force EVERY confrontation, James.

Spider's reactions are hard to predict, because Spider has a lot of confidence in himself in the comics. He stands up for himself. We don't see this as much in the movie, and we've all sort of personified him as guilty and self blaming. I tend to lean towards him feeling incredibly guilty for this. I don't see any world at all where he would compare himself to Jake, these are all things that happened before his time that I assume he has only limited knowledge on. The details of Jake's betrayal CAN'T be talked about widely, especially not with Spider. I don't think he would ever think to bring it up. I can see him getting frustrated at some point and talking about how they left him, but not in reaction to this. I see him only feeling guilty for this, and I think they will want to put his position in question in the film before making it clear at the end via his reaction to whatever terrible shit Quaritch does.
